The car continued to speed along, evtually reaching an area sured by high, expansive walls. Yes, they had arrived at the location of Laras'' house area.
Nita''s car drove calmly past the high and long wall that bordered Laras''s family residce. After a few minutes, they approached the main gate, guarded by several fully uniformed soldiers. However, the guards seemed to recognize the vehicle Nita was in. Without any dy, the gates oped automatically, granting full ess to Laras''s family housing area.
As the car tered the yard, a view of a wide and beautiful gard immediately weed Nita and Na. On the right and left, gre stretches were filled with colorful flowers pleasing to the eye. Some rxing seating spots were scattered throughout the gard, and a few people, who seemed to be Laras''s distant rtives, were chatting there.
The air here was fresh, the atmosphere peaceful, a stark contrast to the city''s hustle and bustle.
In the distance, rows of grand houses lined up neatly. Each house was built with clearly expsive construction materials, showcasing the luxury and status of the families residing there. However, thergest and most promint house was located in the cter—the residce of Laras and her family.
The building stood majestically, featuring modern architecture blded with ssic touches, reflecting the prosperity and wealth of Laras''s family.
Just as Nita''s car stopped in front of the house, the front door swung wide op, and Laras, wearing a delicate dress with a touch of bluece, walked out to greet them. Laras''s long hair, neatly flowing down her back, added an elegant impression. She smiled brightly as she saw Nita stepping out of the car.
"Nita! You''re here!" eximed Laras thusiastically, her eyes sparkling.
Nita smiled back and looked at Laras from head to toe. "Thanks, Sis. But look at you! This dress really suits you. You look stunning," Nita replied, admiring Laras''s beauty.
Laras blushed slightly but quickly continued, "You always tter me, Nita. Oh, and this is Na, right?" Laras turned to Na, who was standing behind Nita.
Na, still holding her tablet, smiled politely and nodded. "Yes, Miss Laras. It''s a pleasure to meet you."
Na felt a bit nervous. Although she had met and se Laras several times, she still felt slightly intimidated by meeting a core member of the World Market Trade Alliance. This was understandable giv that Laras was a Tier-3, a level she rarely countered, just like Nita, who was also a Tier-3.
Laras looked at Na briefly and smiled. "Nice to meet you too, Na. I''ve heard a lot about you from Nita. She says you''re very reliable!"
Laras had heard about Na several times from Nita. She ev received her first message from Na because Nita had instructed her to sd a message about their meeting schedule.
Na smiled wider, touched by theplimt. "Thank you, Miss Laras. I''m just doing my best." She responded shyly, bowing her head slightly.
After greeting each other, Laras invited Nita and Na into the house. In the living room, they were warmly weed by Laras''s family, including her father and mother, who were already waiting on the sofa. Fortunately, Laras''s father was at home this time.
"Father... this is Miss Nita, the sister of the Ind''s Owner," said Laras, introducing Nita to her father and mother.
Laras''s father appeared well-groomed with very stylish clothing. He wore transpart sses with shiny ck frames. Ev while facing Nita, he managed to maintain his calm expression.
"Haha... hello, Miss Nita, wee," Laras''s father greeted warmly. He walked over and shook hands with Nita and Na.
"Hello, sir, we meet again," Nita replied, shaking Laras''s father''s hand. She had met him earlier during the city''s initial developmt phase. Nita saw him as someone who calcted everything based on profit and loss, ev for minor matters.
After Laras''s father, other family members also greeted them. They couldn''t ignore Nita, ev though Laras was close to her; they still had to show some respect wh meeting the owner of Life City and the sister of the Ind''s Owner.
After some brief pleasantries, Laras suddly proposed an idea. "I have an idea! How about we cook first before going out? I want to try making chick opor," she said excitedly.
Nita immediately agreed. "Of course! It feels like it''s be forever since we cooked together, Sis. This will be fun!"
Na just smiled behind them, happy to see the thusiasm of these two frids.
The three of them headed to Laras''srge kitch, filled with modern cooking equipmt and various ingredits. Skillfully, they began cooking chick opor—a traditional Indonesian dish rich in spices. Laras managed the pot, Nita prepared the spices, and Na helped with small tasks, asionallyughing along wh something funny happed in the kitch.
"Nita, by the way, what ss do you have today?" Laras asked suddly as she added carrots to the pot.
Nita, who was chopping onions, paused and, after thinking for a momt, said, "Today is calculus, mathematics."
"Why do you ask, Sis?" Nita asked back.
"Nothing, I was just curious if you had any assignmts? Maybe I could help youter," Laras replied casually. She used to be very diligt and meticulous in her studies. She had continued her college education until halfway through the semester wh they suddly moved to the Heavly Sky Realm.
A few weeks ago, it was announced that youths who were still in college could continue their education at the newly established university, but Laras didn''t want to attd. Her father didn''t push her to continue her studies due to the vastly changed circumstances. Instead, he couraged her to keep improving her strgth and be the strongest.
"No, Sis, today is my first time attding a calculus ss," Nita answered while gathering the chopped onions and cing them in an aluminum bowl.
"Ev today, it might just be an introduction, not going into the actual material," she added.
Laras nodded lightly at Nita''s response and continued cooking, stirring the pot with a wood spat.
