Struggling, she shouted, "Let me go!"


    Rhett hadn''t seen iting-Everett throwing all gentlemanly pretense out the window and acting like a rogue, just snatching her away. He couldn''t keep up the charade any longer. He sprang up, rushing to cut them off.


    He quickly blocked Everett''s path, his fists clenched tight. "Mr. Everett, Selena doesn''t want to go with you. Put her down."


    Everett''s eyes flicked to Rhett''s feet, a mocking grin spreading across his face. “I thought you sprained your ankle? Did you suddenly heal just to y the hero?"


    As he spoke, hisrge hand provocatively patted Selena''s shapely backside. "See? I wasn''t wrong about him."


    Selena: "..."


    "But since he loves putting on a show for you, I''ll give him this chance."


    With that, Everett swiftly grabbed Rhett''s arm, dislocating it with a loud crack.


    Rhett was instantly drenched in cold sweat, his face going pale from the pain. He hadn''t even seen Everett make his move-it was that fast. This guy was way stronger than he''d ever imagined.


    Selena snapped angrily, "Everett!"


    Everett shoved Rhett aside. "If you don''t want that arm to be useless, head to the hospital."


    With that, he strode off.


    Momentster, he took Selena into the hotel across the street, secured the presidential suite, and carried her up in the elevator.


    Once inside the room, he tossed Selena onto the bed, pinning her down as he began unbuttoning his shirt. In the dim light, his handsome face was a storm of anger and jealousy, emotions tangled up like a hurricane.


    He yanked off his shirt, revealing a perfectly sculpted torso, and then moved on to his belt. "Selena, I told you, if you have needs,e to me. I can satisfy them. If you dare go to someone else, I''ll make sure you regret it."


    He wasn''t hiding anymore; he''d dropped all pretenses. Everett was never a nice guy to begin with.


    He leaned down, gripping her delicate chin, ignoring her struggles as he kissed her forcefully. His lips trailed down her long neck, pulling her top open, and burying his face against her chest. He took in every bit of sweetness that was his alone.


    Selena couldn''t match his strength; her hands soon dropped, no longer pushing him away. However, she wasn''t lost in the moment. Even as her cheeks flushed and her body softened, she stayedposed, questioning him word by word.


    "Everett, have you dealt with your myriad lovers?"


    Everett paused for a moment before continuing, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "You demand this of me, yet what about you? Letting Rhett buzz around you like an annoying fly!"


    She couldn''t possibly miss Rhett''s overt interest, yet she hadn''t rejected it, even indulging in flirtations with other men. How was this any different from being a heartbreaker?


    The thought made him even more forceful.


    Selena let out a soft moan, swallowing hard, but she still pressed on, "So what?"


    "You refuse tomit to me, so I''ll find others. Do you expect me to hang myself over you?"


    Suddenly, she propped herself up, whispering into his ear, "Everett, you''re overestimating your importance."


    "Let me tell you, if you insist on having me, fine. But it''s just a physical encounter.
