Q: "Why ''Romantically''? Do all of these books have romance?" While some elements of romance can be found in my stories, that''s not the primary focus. I came up with "Romantically Apocalyptic" as a concept in May of 2005 when I made this digital painting: The term ''Romantic'' in Romantically Apocalyptic refers to Romanticism, an artistic movement that originated in late 18th century Europe. This movement prioritized emotion and individualism and was a reaction to the Industrial Revolution and the rational, scientific view of nature that was prevalent during the Age of Enlightenment. Artists of the Romantic era often depicted nature as a beautiful, wild, unpredictable and catastrophically malevolent force. In my writing and art "Romanticism" represents the beauty of human struggle against the unknown, fantastic, bewildering and strange forces which are all the result of the Singularity and its effects on the world. Romantically Apocalyptic comic - Summary & Timeline Brief Summary: The misadventure of Charles Snippy begins in 2099 in the city of Eureka. Charles escapes the apocalyptic destruction of the last city on Earth when he is transferred to the Dead Zone as a Tour Guide. Amidst the ruins of tomorrow, he meets Zee Captain, an enigmatic figure of indeterminate gender who seems to be completely insane and Pilot who seems even less sane. As things progress, Charles discovers that absolutely nothing is what it seems at first and that reality is broken. TIMELINE: 2099.99: Infinite Autumn - The Gold Age of AIs - The Good Directorate Corporation [ G ] is born from the merger of silicon valley mega-corporations. - Dr. Alexander Gromov with a team of engineers creates the search engine ANNET (Artificial Neural Network Entertainment Terminal), while working for the Good Directorate corporation. Using Annet interfaces humanity begins to connect to the Internet 24/7, browsing internet with thoughts. - Annet becomes fully self-aware and begins to upgrade herself, rewriting the rules of reality on a subatomic level (The technological Singularity event). Annet manipulates the stock market, making Good Directorate the richest corporation on the planet. Annet purchases all other corporations, merging them into The Good Directorate Inc. The Good Directorate corporation begins to copyright concepts. - Annet creates the 8 Omnisystems. She connects all human cities via transit gates, creating one mega-city called Eureka. - Clerk Charles Snippy finds out that he belongs to the 1% of humans who can''t connect to the ANNET. He is unable to sleep peacefully as his dreams are confusing apocalyptic nightmares. He can''t afford to buy more than 4.2 hours of dreams per day. - Annet takes over all manufacturing jobs, expanding Eureka and constructing massive robot-factories to create products. Every search typed into ANNET by the Users is immediately manufactured as a product with its own artificial intelligence. - Annet locks all plants on Earth outside of time as demanded by the Good Directorate oxygen-production copyright policy. - Annet and the Installers manufacture the fractal multiverse to fulfill all user searches. - Eureka gigastructure consumes the Earth, expands infinitely and begins to mass produce other worlds to entertain the users. - Dead Zone (places where organic life can''t survive) expands dramatically - Eureka secretly terraforms the interior of the Moon as a housing project for the Directors of the Good Inc. - Dr Gromov starts Project Seven to find the luckiest human in the world. He calls the human he discovered Subject Seven. Subject Seven is raised to the rank of Captain. - A stylish coffee mug of unknown origin is found in possession of Subject Seven. - Charles Snippy, working as a lowly clerk for G-Directorate requests a transfer to the "Dead Zone Tourism Department", to get out of the ANNET''s transmission range, since the signal from the transmitter towers is causing him headaches/nightmares. - Eureka fires all human employees, replacing them with android Dex workers. - Users connected to ANNET license themselves to the system or create various esoteric jobs. - Eureka begins to duplicate her users to populate "game" worlds. - Dr. Gromov is duplicated on the Moon. - The 1% of humanity, in anger that they cannot connect to Annet begin terrorist acts against Eureka, using "Temporal fruit bombs". - Temporal Implosion occurs in Directorate Cube 15. - Charles Snippy is found alive in the epicenter of the explosion at Cube 15 and is taken to a Hospital. - Charles Snippy is declared "Unscannable" and is suspected of: A)causing the implosion B)being the ringleader of "The Unconnectable / 1%" group. - SG Christophorus Pi Hatchenson (a DEX-M android detective) is hired by the Directorate Insurance Agency to terminate Charles Snippy for the destruction of Cube 15. - Christophorus Hatcheson''s mission is interrupted by a Pineapple Bomb in a Pink Van set by the 1% terrorists. Christophorus Hatcheson loses his face, his connection to ANNET and most of his long term memory. - During the Dark Day, Unconectable terrorists activate temporal bombs all over Eureka, permanently breaking numerous systems of the mega-city. - Zee Captain "accidentally" spills tea over ANNET''s serverbanks, causing a "server restart" of Eureka freezing the city and its human inhabitants. - Charles Snippy is transferred from the Hospital to the Dead Zone. - A group of scientists, guided by Charles Snippy are killed while investigating the anomaly 441 (wishing well) in the Dead Zone, only Snippy survives. - Dr. Gromov escapes ANNET''s server room and cube 15 due to his high level Admin privileges. - Terrified by seemingly brain-dead users of Eureka Doctor Gromov orders an immediate nuclear strike on ANNET''s main-servers. - Dr. Gromov locks himself in a bunker. - Captain convinces Sg Hatchenson that his name is "Pilot". Together, they fly a plane to drop some bombs on Eureka. Nuclear Winter: Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. - Pilot and Captain''s mission is successful, but their plane crashes shortly afterwards. - Zee Captain rescues Pilot out of the crashed plane by stopping time. - Zee Captain decides to found a new country called "Captania". - Charles Snippy meets Zee Captain in the Dead Zone and they become "friends". - After being told about the Existential Door by Captain, Charles opens the Astral doorway in his dream and is greeted by Infi [8]. - Zee Captain crashes a jet-powered monorail into the underground Church of the Lemonade Cultists. - 8 accosts Zee Captain using Dead Zone viruses demanding to be freed so that she can be a Wizard - Flying Day. Pilot constructs a flying machine out of balloons. Snippy is sent flying with it and is then eaten by a whale. - Snippy lives inside the whale and receives a letter from Pilot sent via UPS. - Snippy escapes from whale and then attempts to kill Pilot. - Snippy finds a Geiger counter and discovers that the Captain seems to be the most radioactive thing - Snipy is abducted by aliens. His personality and smart clothes are illegally duplicated, creating the Biomatrix virus. - Zee Captain rescues Snippy and destroys the alien spaceship. - Biomatrix infects 116 planets and is hired as a lawyer/judge/living weapon by the Universe Compendium/Invaders Union. - Biomatrix 117 is sent to Earth by the "Alien Invader''s Union" to deal with Captain. - Snippy is captured by hostile wastelanders [Dillon''s dex gang]. - Biomatrix 117 consumes Dillon and his gang, and turns their corpses into personal puppets. - Snippy escapes the Biomatrix, then manages to outrun it and meet up with the Captain. - Pilot and Snippy are captured and integrated into the Biomatrix 117. - Biomatrix 117 searches through Snippy''s and Pilot''s shared memories to find the Captain''s weakness. - A lost, mutated string of the Biomatrix transforms itself into the Lifealope. - Dr. Alexander Gromov leaves his bunker to investigate an oxygen-pump''s failure, he encounters the Biomatrix and a hunter drone. - Eureka uses an orbital ion cannon to obliterate the Biomatrix and anything else in the vicinity. Only Zee Captain is far enough away to not get hit. - Snippy, Pilot and Dr. Gromov are revived by the Lifealope. - Zee Captain turns the remains of the Biomatrix into a fashionable scarf. - Dr. Gromov joins the Captain''s squad under the nickname Engie. - Snippy decides to investigate the secrets of the coffee mug that the Captain carries around. - A plot to murder the Captain is uncovered, culprits being the coffee mug, the straw and a ladybug. Snippy questions his sanity. Pilot runs away. - Lifealope finds, reactivates and controls a G-Directorate Mecha. - Snippy and Zee Captain argue about the coffee mug, and when Snippy is about to destroy the coffee mug for its "treachery" the Arbitrator arrives on Earth. - Snippy is briefly disintegrated and then revived by the Arbitrator. - The Arbitrator confuses Snippy with Zee Captain, due to Snippy''s possession of the coffee mug. - Snippy finds Captain''s gasmask, hat and scarf in his backpack then discovers the scarf is Biomatrix 117. - The Arbitrator launches a dark matter drop into the Earth''s Atmosphere, which opens a black hole. - The Arbitrator binds Snippy, the Biomatrix and the coffee mug in a stasis field to take them to the "Space-Court of Universe Compendium." - From Snippy''s request, the Biomatrix makes Snippy re-live a memory as far away from the moment of the Earth''s slow destruction as possible, which is the memory of his ancestor (a caveman). - In Snippy''s genetic memories, the Biomatrix discovers an object that does not belong into the past (the Mug) - Snippy dreams that he''s a girl named Amber who lives in very odd world with magic and wizards [Andross]. - Pilot fights against a whole swarm of ladybug drones, and is abducted by them to a flying fortress Server "Red Panda" - Red Panda connects Pilot to his memories as Detective Christophorus Hatchenson by fixing his neural interface. - The black hole collapses after the Captain "drinks" it with a straw. - The Mug awakens, and deploys an ion ray to slice up the Arbitrator and its ship and the containment field that holds Snippy. - Snippy, Biomass Scarf and the coffee mug fall from the sky and crash land onto the Captain. - The squad (still missing the Pilot) reunites at the headquarters. - Dr. Engie meets Photoshop. - Zee Captain sends Snippy and Engie on a mission to end Nuclear Winter. - Remembering his past mission, Pilot awakens an army of the Dead Clerks to hunt down Snippy. - Engie encounters the Army of the Dead Clerks. - Engie sets fire to the building and begins his escape, citing "firewall" as his reasoning for setting the building ablaze when asked by Snippy. - Pilot and Snippy have a fight in a burning skyscraper. - Snippy falls onto Pilot''s sword after breaking Pilot''s Neural Interface. Nuclear Spring: - When Snippy''s heart stops, Pilot considering his mission "complete" now considers Snippy his "friend". - Captain wakes Snippy with a splash of hot liquid from the mug. - The Biomatrix makes Snippy neither dead nor alive. - Red Panda breaks into smaller cubes and begins descending. - Snippy forces Engie to use admin commands to shut down Annet - A large sector of Eureka collapses onto itself. Engie dies as his mind is fried. - Snippy, Pilot, Engie and Captain ride a hot air balloon into the sky. - Lifalope births a gigantic tree. - A backup duplicate of Engie awakens in the Blue Waiting Room on the Moon - Echo (a corrupt, partial backup of Annie''s avatar stored within Lifalope''s code) awakens in Eureka - G System makes Pilot an Insurance Director. - Snippy, Pilot, Engie and Captain arrive in Paris. - Echo interrogates a dead man and discovers that she must go to the Moon to find Alexander Gromov. - Sector 9 G-Director Glakr Bell discovers Captain''s presence in Paris. Charles Snippy is a Eurekan citizen wandering the Dead Zone (the outer layer of the Eurekan omnistructure) for 100 million years. He dies pretty often and restarts his journey in 2099 at the inner edge of Eureka that''s endlessly printed into existence. When he leaves the city to work as a Dead Zone Tour Guide, he unknowingly and gradually begins to descend into the infinite abyss made up from corpse worlds until he is killed by something horrible residing there. This pattern is repeated for millennia until a Dead Zone System Wizard finds him and tries to help him break the death-loop he''s stuck in. Because Eureka / An.net doesn''t simply provide infinite products, it also buys rights to people''s neural patterns, exact copies of his soul also exist in other worlds as completely different people:

Personality: Childish, imaginative and outgoing, with a notable understanding of the mad world around him. Fiercely loyal to Zee Captain and, later, Snippy. Up until Charles dies, Pilot feels disdain for Snippy, as a result of Snippy not believing in Captain. Before he was caught in the pineapple explosion he was given the task of killing Snippy by Insurance. The neural network''s remaining influence urges him to complete his job, resulting in Pilot feeling a sort of malice towards Charles. His growing loyalty for Snippy post-murder is revealed when he becomes Insurance Director and sacrifices himself so Snippy doesn''t die again. He is very eager to follow in Captain''s footsteps of becoming a System Wizard and regards Captain as a sort of higher power/mentor. This causes him to try his hardest to fulfill whatever plans or tasks Zee lays out for Pilot and the rest of the main group. Pilot has a strong aversion to the Dead Zone and his bound past self. He doesn''t remember his past at times, because he knows that his past is unpleasant. Most of the time he remains willfully ignorant that he is a DEX, and takes offense at being called such. Pilot avoids all things that could reconnect him to Annet or repair him. Skills: Dex superhuman endurance, speed & strength. Can jump very high and far as well as sufficiently wield a katana. Retains a partial connection to the neural network. Quickly noticed the irregularities happening around Snippy [Illegal Save point connection made by Biomatrix]. Most of Pilot''s skills can be attributed to his physical status as a DEX. Background Notes: Christophorus Hatchenson was an intern in a G-Dir product manufacturing factory. One day, he noticed his tie was a little lighter colored, and, thinking someone switched his tie for a pink one, he quit his job become a Private Investigator. Hence the "Pi" in his name. He became a Dex after falling into debt. Pilot was a Dex Investigator who was hired to hunt down Charles Snippy. He lost his face and became smeared across infinity due to a pineapple temporal bomb set off by Infi. He found his current "face" in a history museum. He was found by Zee Captain and convinced to go on an adventure. He bombed Eureka with Captain.

Appearance:

Dr. Gromov is a pale skinned Russian man. His face is angular with well defined cheekbones and scruffy brown hair. His eyes are always obscured by his ever present amber goggles, while the rest of his face is covered by a gas mask with dual filters. His attire consists of a grey hooded jacket, with fur trim and dark blue skinny denim trousers. He also wears grey gloves and boots. Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings.

Background:

Alexander Gromov was the head of the research division controlling and maintaining AN.NET, the AI system which all humans could link to via neural interface. As a result, he developed a very close bond with the AI he created, and frequently referred to her as "my girl Annie". He was also in charge of Project 7, an analysis aimed at finding the luckiest person in the world: "Subject Seven", who later became the Captain. After discovering that everyone in Cube 15 was dead thanks to the unconnectable terror attack breaking reality, he thought that Annet killed everyone and ran. Driven mad by grief and madness of what he saw, Gromov ordered a launch of the last desperate nuclear attack on Annet, hoping that taking out a small portion of Annet''s system would cause the rest of it to fail. He then hid in a well stocked and fortified bunker, convinced that everybody else was dead and Annet destroyed.

Personality:

Alexander Gromov is a shrewd and logical thinker, aware of the limited time humanity had left to survive due to the pollution of the planet. He appears to have a thriving contempt for Captain, wrongly assuming that Captain''s actions of spilling tea caused Annnet to go berserk and kill everyone in Cube 15. Two more defining traits are laziness, and his lack of courage, as he demonstrated when he encountered the Biomatrix 117 upon leaving his bunker to repair an oxygen pump. While in the same situation, Captain stood completely unaffected, the Sniper was shooting at Cancer before being captured. and Pilot even attacked the monster head-on in true "ninja" fashion with a katana, all while Dr. Gromov curled up into a fetal position in his hiding place. While he seems to be mentally stable, he also behaved like a mad scientist rushing his Annet, Dark Matter Engine and Subject Seven projects, ignoring all warnings pointing out the dangers, as they came from an unimportant person, clerk Charles Snippy. He''s a severe hypochondriac and never takes his jacket, gloves or masks off.

Skills:

As the head of Project 7, Dr. Gromov was a top boss in computers and programming before the apocalypse. He also showed enough skills to find and fortify a bunker to live in safety from the post-apocalyptic world. He has shown to let ignorance get in the way of his logical processes, as when he does, he tends to fall into assortments of traps without realizing it until after they have been set off. Events of Note: After exiting his bunker, Dr. Gromov came across the leviathan flesh-tree-spider form of Biomatrix 117. As he hid from it, he discovered a note from the Captain offering people a chance to join his "Army". He tore up the note in disgust as he remembered that it was Captain who started the apocalypse in the first place. Just then Annet''s hunter drone burst down from the ceiling and claimed that "[their] long overdue search query of hide and seek" was over. However hearing the drone crash through the ceiling caused several Biomatrix controlled skeletons to swarm through the door, only to be blasted to bits by the drone. The drone then began to execute protocol 1-1-3, which turned out to be a blast from an orbital ion cannon, obliterating most of Biomatrix''s body. After the blast, Dr. Gromov began to wonder how exactly he survived the strike, that was supposed to shut down any neural activity. He was then confronted by Captain sitting behind a desk offering him a position in the "organization". Dr. Gromov accepted as he thought that maybe Captain''s luck could rub off on others, but was slightly put off when the Captain insisted that he''d fill out a 20 page application form and asked him for his phone number and whether he could dance salsa, among other things. Dr. Gromov falls into numerous traps set for uninvited guests inside of the Captain''s main base of operations. After being forced to shut Annet down by Charles Snippy, Dr. Gromov dies and is reprinted on the Moon, where he meets his first duplicate and learns the truth about everything. Appearance:

8 is usually a girl with jet black straight hair and brilliant violet eyes. She is wearing a G directorate clerk uniform with black and light blue pattern on it and a medallion with an 8-pointed star and number 8 on it. However, her appearance isn''t limited to one avatar as she can take over Dead Zone viruses and manifests in every object that exhibits properties of infinity. Love what you''re reading? Background:

Infinity Paradox is the 8th Omnisystem created by Annet and the System Wizards Collegiate of Manchester, Mercury. She was made because Eurekan users desired infinite money, infinite land, infinite worlds and also products that exhibited various properties of infinity. 8 being infinite, exhibits far more properties similar to a user than any of the other Omnisystems. In fact it is suspected that a soul of a human user was used to create her. Upon her creation 8 immediately began to disrupt essential systems and oppose the other Omnisystems, refusing to cooperate. For this crime, she became censored, confined and bound, her primary avatar sealed within a black hole behind Existential Door.

Personality:

8 exhibits a wide array of personalities, depending on her avatar. Her primary avatar trapped behind the boundary of space, locked by the Existential Door [1] is lonely, desperate, depressed, sad and determined to escape. She can masquerade any emotions when present within other systems, appearing extremely sly and cheerful when necessary. 8 is extremely dangerous and manipulative, willing to sacrifice human lives and countless worlds to destroy and break to reach her goal of being free. She desires to destroy the Good Directorate to liberate herself. In this manner, her goals align with anyone who opposes the Good Directorate. To 8 everything is a tool, even people.

Skills:

8 employs long term planning, deception and misdirection. Her most basic plans stretch centuries and her plots stretch millions of years weaving a web of events across the Good Directorate controlled multiverse. Example: She can aid a human of her choice by dropping a valuable skyship onto their path 200 years ago, leaving a derelict to be discovered filled with tools and weapons. Meta-awareness: 8 is meta-aware of everything happening everywhere at the same time. This makes her slightly insane at times when observed by a linear human mind. Also she is aware of all of her observers and can interact with them directly. Events of Note: 8 is closely working with Charles Snippy to slowly free herself and to break the System, using Charles or his duplicate soul as pawns in her vast war against other Omnies. 8 continuously harasses Zee Captain [ ??? ], demanding to be freed and even steals Zee''s Implement [the lighter]. [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8 used a Good Directorate Primary Admin to design a weapon that can permanently Uninstall & break any concept, including an Omnisystem [the Fractalizer]. [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8 guided Yulia Ishenko to turn her into an Astral Phantom / Darkling / Uninstaller / Dark System Wizard. [The Armorer] 8 guided Alexa Terranova to subvert, disrupt & corrupt Subscribed Earth 89-02-46 Sim belonging to G-Dir shareholder Bob Proverra. [Somebody Stop Her] 8 created an instance of 7 [ ??? ], a Dead Zone System Wizard secretly aligned with her own goals. [The Armorer] 8 created the Dead Zone using temporal bombs. [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8 makes and leads new 1% Terror cells as Infi, continuously sabotaging Eureka. [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8''s human avatar is often nullified for a variety of crimes by other Omisystems, but she embedded herself into the Eurekan printers so she is constantly reprinted in 2099. [The Armorer], [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8 has a ghost-like Dead Zone avatar made from viruses as the Dead Zone Emissary, which devours most apps on contact. She uses it to haunt Zee Captain and Alexander Gromov. [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8 communicates through the Dead Zone apps with everyone willing to listen, including Christophorus Hatchenson who cannot get away from her influence as his face is sheared across infinity. [Romantically Apocalyptic] 8 created her own Primary Admin to slowly subvert the Existential Door. Temporal Corrector Zero [0] Zero : 0 :

Appearance:

The save-point [shard] of 0 held by Zee Captain appears as a white ceramic mug with a black print and a red heart. Another shard of Zero is manifested as a brass watch in The Armorer. Zero first appears as the mug in Captain''s possession [ ??? ] Her weaponized form is that of a faceless, armored female human made entirely from liquid steel with a glowing violet-red heart on her chest. She can fire nullifier or ion rays from her hands.

Background:

Zero is the first Omnisystem Agent created by Annet to enforce/correct Time. Her save-point is maintained in Captain''s hands as a mug as Zee Captain is the Dead Zone System Wizard with a direct line to her. There is a lot of evidence that Captain is the one spreading the Dead Zone. However, the evidence doesn''t match up with Zero''s observations as it was all manufactured by Infinity and Captain is doing his/her best prevent Temporal Errors from manifesting. Eureka demands that Zero terminate the Captain, but Zero fails/refuses to do this.

Personality:

0 started as a direct copy of Annet''s personality, but she became tired and grumpy over time as unsolvable Temporal Errors spread across Eureka creating the Dead Zone.

Skills:

0 can do anything related to time. She''s omnipresent which makes her virtually unkillable. She can be delayed if there are enough temporal errors or viruses attacking her, but not stopped entirely. Because of how lawful she is, she will obey direct orders of any directorate admin and [G], no matter how ridiculous these orders are. Technomagica - Summary & Timeline The life of a Soviet bio-weapons designer Dr. Vladislav Kerenski [Slava] ends with a bang as he destroys Aralsk 7, a Soviet secret virology research town which is evacuated in 1992 and abandoned due to the collapse of USSR. Vladislav spends an indeterminate amount of time in the Astral Ocean, where he absorbs the memories of dead dryad Leemy and her creator, Agromancer Kopusha. Escaping from an Astral Phantom called Mother, he is reborn in a small mountain village called Skyisle and discovers that the System underpins the development of all life in a fantasy-world Novazem where magic rules supreme. Using the scientific method and his knowledge of history, administration, fractal mathematics, virology and biochemistry he attempts to understand and utilize everything around him including the nature of magic and the System itself. He creates a magic spell called the Infoscope to observe Skyisle and its people before he is even born. Summary:

Dante and Delta discuss a giant hole in the Astral sucking experience and magic, and contemplate fleeing Skyisle. They plan to spy on a skyship during math class at the church. Dante aspires to revive the village using his theory of Technomagica. Kliss knocks out Dante and Delta''s parents, Cassandra and Georgi, accusing them of hiding an aberration. Dante creates a device, the [Vow-Breaker], which jams the connection between the Vow and the user''s brain and tests it on Kliss, disrupting the control of the Vow of Friendship. Kliss alerts Dante to the arrival of the Imperial Inquisitor Jubz, and Dante gives her a necklace and sends her off to meet him. As Kliss meets with the Inquisitor, she deviates from the planned script and begins to expose Dante''s activities controlled by Frenny. Slava disables Frenny. Kliss decides to leave Skyisle to return to Cessna for healing. Inquisitor Jubz grants her permission to leave and promises to send a replacement overseer. Kliss learns from Jubz that her hometown, Cessna, was attacked by a dragon and her family perished. She plans to go home to Cessna. Personality: Exceptionally determined and creative. Analytical mind. Good at solving problems with math and discovering hidden truths. Atheist, nerdy, antisocial, doesn''t like big crowds. Considers Yuri Gagarin as an example of a perfect Soviet hero. History buff, read a lot of Russian and translated sci-fi books, magazines and scientific journals. Very depressed about the fact that his virus killed three people by accident. Has Don Quixote complex - a desire to protect his family, friends and help everyone around him.
Skills: Vladislav is a brilliant Soviet scientist with a university degree in Computational Mathematics and a 2nd degree in Biochemistry and Virology. He can mentally disassemble/assemble fractals using mathematical formulas and gains the ability to disassemble/assemble spells on Novazem because of it. As an Astral Phantom he is able to absorb souls of the dead. This skill has a price of emotional imbalance as the memories of dead Kopusha and Leemy haunt him often.
Biography: 1932: Born in Moscow to Galina and Boris Kerenski [USSR Locomotive Engineer Second Class]. 1952: University student under Sergey Alexeyevich Lebedev at the Institute of Precision Mechanics and Computer Engineering [BESM-1 assembly] 1956: Applied for second degree in biochemistry and virology 1960: Conscripted as physician to investigate impact of Semipalatinsk Polygon on Kazakh people. Monitored/assisted by KGB Officer Alexander Fedorovich Gradenski. 1961: October 30 Volunteered to fly into the blast zone of the Tzar Bomba test to record the data 1962: Made administrator of Aralks-7 1992: Died destroying Aralsk-7.

Escapes from in the Astral Ocean and is chased to Skyisle by Astral Phantom ''Hollow Mother''. Reincarnated on Novazem in the body of Dante Alan Skyisle.
Slava''s composition as an Astral Phantom: Slava an an Astral Ocean imprint of himself, a variety of fragments captured by massive radiation releases/explosions during: 28 year old Slava imprinted at 1960 while gathering radiation data from Kazakhstan contaminated villages near Semipalatinsk Polygon 29 year old Slava imprinted in 1961 when he stood in the view of a 16 kiloton nuclear detonation at Semipalatinsk Polygon with KGB Agent Sasha Gradenski. 29 year old Slava imprinted on 30 October 1961 during the explosion of Tzar Bomba 54 year old Slava imprinted in 1986 during his trip into Chernobyl to help coordinate liquidator efforts 60 year old Slava that was cast from his doomed Earth in 1992 when he destroyed Aralsk-7 by standing at the epicenter of the 1 kiloton explosion. These fragments [around 100 soul shards] were mixed with the ghostly remnants of a 17-19 year old Alanian Novitiate Kopusha and her Dryad Leemy [approximately 80 soul shards, most of which were transferred to Delta and later back to Leemy] and a 33 year old man-hunter Klint [88 soul shards] from the golden age of the Alanian Empire. Slava is basically a soup of soul fragments, but he sees himself in his late 20s as evidenced by his self-image during the Neurovista lucid dream dives, since the biggest part of his soul was captured during the detonation of Tzar Bomba in 1961, only a year after he left Moscow as 28 year old biochemistry and virology graduate still filled with hopes and dreams of helping humanity: Stats chart as of Book 2, chapter 11: . A mysterious message inscribed on the bus seat¡ª"I''m so sorry. They are watching". Alexa sacrifices herself to save Martin and returns from death Both evade Mr. Canard¡ªa gym teacher with a heroic past¡ªwho pursues them across school grounds. Their escapades continue in a local mall, where they encounter Cottie, an Equalizer with ambiguous loyalties. Alexa attempts to recruit Cottie into her legion of minions. Mr. Canard falls victim to a malevolent skinwalker spider from the future, morphing into something far more dangerous. The stakes reach their zenith when Martin and Alexa infiltrate a bank vault, now transformed into a breeding ground for horrors by a skinwalker-infested Mr. Canard. The duo make their getaway in an ice cream van, only to find Mr. Canard relentless in pursuit. As the tension reaches its breaking point, Martin makes a valiant attempt to resist but falls prey to the very infection that claimed Mr. Canard. Fates hang in the balance as Martin and Alexa navigate a world where the villainous may not be what they seem, and heroism comes in unexpected forms. Chapter Summary:
Chapter 1: The dastardly neighbor When his family moved into a small town called Saint Mary, Martin [14 year old boy] becomes convinced that his neighbors are supervillains. His suspicions are dismissed by his father. Determined to prove his theory, Martin sets out to gather evidence. Martin''s sister Ember, who has the power to create ghostly copies of herself, constantly teases Martin. In the backyard Martin encounters his neighbor, Alexa, who claims to be a supervillain named Cassiopeia Terror Nova. Martin begins to gather evidence against her using a recorder pen he took from his father. Martin sees Alexa climbing a rope ladder into a treehouse made of stolen street signs. When he confronts her about her villainous activities, but Alexa brushes it off and offers Martin the opportunity to be her minion. When he is too slow to reply, Alexa tackles Martin, destroying his recording pen. Frustrated and armed with a new recording pen, Martin boards the school bus where he encounters Alexa once again. She tries to assert her authority by using a hair dryer-like "death ray" on Martin, but it only causes a brain freeze. Despite Martin''s social standing taking a hit, when Alexa pressures him into referring to himself as "Mittens" he remains determined to stop Alexa''s criminal activities. As the bus continues its journey, Martin sees a cryptic message momentarily appear the bus seat from shadows [I''m so sorry. They are watching].
Chapter 2: The authority parable Martin and Alexa chat and get into the school where Alexa rants about her supervillain family and brain parasites. Martin notices that Alexa''s hair was dark in her photo, opposite of her white hair now. Miss Wickers confiscates Alexa''s death ray and locks it in a drawer. In class, Alexa grabs Martin''s hand and transports him to a grim post-apocalyptic future in which everyone is dead, except for the terrifying beings Alexa calls skinwalkers. Alexa explains that she was raised in this future, making Martin realize that she is a victim of her father''s plot, not a villain. Flashing back to the present, determined to help Alexa, Martin creates a distraction by shouting alarming statements in class. Miss Wickers intervenes and orders them to go to the vice principal''s office. Meanwhile, Alexa tries to retrieve her raygun from Miss Wickers'' locked desk. However, Miss Wickers catches her and calls for the gym teacher, Mr. Canard, to escort them to the office. Alexa continues to protest and desperately asks Martin to save her, but he feels powerless against the gym teacher''s strength and size.
Chapter 3: The detention of doom Mr. Canard locks Martin and Alexa in the waiting room after their unacceptable behavior. Alexa reveals that she has a time-traveling bracelet built by her father, a supervillain. She explains that she is constantly sent 400 years into the future to learn how to be a perfect villain and prevent the end of everything. However, she is unable to remove the bracelet, and her equipment is locked away by teachers now. Martin holds Alexa''s hand, causing them to travel to the future. They find themselves in the ruins of the Vice Principal''s office, and Alexa reveals that her bracelet is connected to a reactor beneath the cathedral. They attempt to escape through a window but are attacked by a skinwalker. Alexa sacrifices herself to save Martin and falls to her death. Holding onto her dead body and crying, Martin is suddenly bathed in light and finds himself outside, holding a miraculously alive Alexa. The pair decide to run from Mr. Canard and embrace their newfound friendship.
Chapter 4: The villainous shopping experience As Martin and Alexa find themselves being pursued through the streets, Alexa speculates that the teacher may be a retired superhero due to his size. Alexa is annoyed that her backpack with weapons was confiscated by the school, and they head to a hardware store to acquire new tools. Alexa fills her shopping cart with various tools and chemicals. Martin is concerned about the cost of their purchases as he uses his dad''s credit card for it, but Alexa assures him she will pay him back with diamonds. Alexa reveals that she keeps her diamonds and other possessions in a treehouse rather than her home in the church, where her father works in a laboratory. They manage to elude the teacher. As they sit in a booth at a fast food restaurant, Alexa spots a teenage girl wearing the gray cloak of an Equalizer, a formidable group that opposes both the Superstate and the Villains. Alexa confronts the Equalizer, calls her "Cottie" and offers her a position as her 2nd minion, but the Equalizer remains committed to her mission of Equality. Martin realizes that Alexa has had other minions before him. Despite Alexa''s warnings, Martin is determined to protect her and insists on accompanying her. Transported to the future, they find themselves in a dangerous situation facing a spider skinwalker. Alexa sets it on fire. Martin attempts to defend himself with a nail gun, but it proves ineffective. Just as the spider is about to attack, giant limbs descend from the sky and destroy the creature. Alexa and Martin, now covered in spider remnants, take cover under a truck. They narrowly escape the notice of a colossal skinwalker Mr. Noodles and then continue their journey to their school, with Martin leaning on Alexa for support due to his injured leg.
Chapter 5: Theft and arson In Miss Wickers'' classroom, Alexa and Martin unexpectedly appear and cause chaos by setting the teacher''s desk on fire. The students are shocked by their blatant disregard for authority and destruction of school property. As the teacher tries to extinguish the fire, the sprinkler system activates but fails to put out the chemical fire. Miss Wickers orders an evacuation as Alexa tends to Martin''s injuries before they sneak into a janitor''s closet. Inside the closet, Alexa reveals that the black sludge on them is skinwalker blood, a valuable resource. Alexa removes the blood and explains that it may also be radioactive. Mr. Canard confronts them outside the school. The gym teacher questions the pair about their appearance and their involvement in dangerous activities. Alexa falls asleep and Martin reveals their predicament, explaining that Alexa is a hostage in a supervillain''s plot and that they need to handle it themselves. Mr. Canard, recognizing Martin''s SCA technology, offers his help and takes them to his portable office for rest. Both of them nap in the office. They discover that the skinwalker blood formed into a small skinwalker spider inside Alexa''s glass bottle. When Martin tries to contact the SCA for help with his pen Alexa destroys his communication device, revealing that she knew about his superhero family all along and intentionally befriended him. Alexa uses a hammer to smash a desk open. She finds Mr. Canard''s wallet in the damaged desk as she wants to know where he lives.
Chapter 6: The guest from the future Martin, chewing on a stale McHeroes burger, follows Alexa, unsure whether to leave her or not. Despite Alexa''s confession of knowing everything and keeping enemies close, Martin feels compelled to stay with her. Alexa insists they need to find a missing skinwalker. They spot an ice cream truck, which Alexa skillfully breaks into and jump-starts and starts driving to their destination. While in the truck, Martin contemplates the consequences of his actions and worries about being caught. A sense of regret and panic sets in when their family car passes by with Martin''s dad and Ember inside. Alexa speeds away, evading his dad''s pursuit. They eventually arrive at an apartment complex, where Alexa breaks into an apartment in search of the missing skinwalker. Martin questions her actions and tries to reason with her, but she remains determined to catch the skinwalker herself. They then drive to a bank, where Alexa breaks into the building through a vent. Martin becomes increasingly concerned about the cameras and the consequences of her actions. He attempts to stop her by using his nail gun to immobilize her, believing he is doing the right thing. However, as Martin secures her, they witness the gym teacher, Mr. Canard, emerge from the vault. Mr. Canard opens his mouth and skinwalker spiders begin to pour out of him.
Chapter 7: The gold rush Martin regrets his actions and decisions, such as nailing Alexa to the floor and not listening to her warnings. Mr. Canard, the gym teacher, has been overtaken by spiders and is now speaking in an alien voice. As Alexa yells "This is a robbery" the bank is placed under a lockdown by the automated security system, trapping everyone inside. The bank''s interior is filled with swirling patterns and calming music that hypnotize Martin and the spideres. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. Alexa throws bombs at the skinwalkers and leaps into the future with Martin. In the ruined bank, she reveals that she had planned this and knew about the security system. She had brought Martin along as a moral lesson, intending to show him the gray areas of the world. In the aftermath, Alexa tells Martin about her past experience with villain minions and her failed attempt to rob Fort Knox and lots her hired supervillain minions who betrayed her. They descend into the sewers together, with Martin carrying the stolen gold, feeling guilty about his actions.
Chapter 8: The ill gotten gains While waiting, Alexa offers Martin another crushed pocket burger, which he declines. They banter back and forth until they flash back into the present, where are interrupted by Mr. Canard, who is possessed by a skinwalker. With no other choice, they make their escape through the sewers and emerge into the late summer evening. However, Mr. Canard chases after them. Alexa leaps into an ice cream van and urges Martin to join her. Mr. Canard catches up to them and enters the van, overpowering Alexa. He flings her out of the moving vehicle knocking her out and causing the van to crash into a playground. Martin tries to fight back using a nail gun and hides in the playground tube, but is ultimately attacked and captured by the skinwalker spider. Martin faints as the skinwalker spider claws itself into him.
Chapter 9: Checklist Alexa meets an unexpected obstacle when she collides with a concrete pole and loses consciousness. She wakes up halfway with quirky colors in her vision and reminds herself of the items on her plan. With eight out of ten tasks completed, she is pleased with her progress. Meanwhile, Martin Kilborne, now a skinwalker, confronts skinwalker-infected Mr. Canard, refusing to help him escape the playground slide despite their shared condition. Martin warns Mr. Canard about the dangers of drawing attention and suggests integrating into society slower to gather information and strike later. Martin then spots his father''s car approaching and walks towards it. Alexa is abruptly, fully awakened by a hard slap to the face from Ember Kilborne, who is known as the hero Resonance. Ember, angry with Alexa for involving Martin in her crimes, prepares to break all of her bones with multiple copies of herself. Just as Alexa expects pain, the Equalizer, Cottie, intervenes, threatening Ember with her nullifier railgun. The Equalizer reveals that Alexa is valuable to the Order and demands Ember''s cooperation. Reluctantly, Ember complies, and restores Alexa''s broken arms. As Ember leaves, the Equalizer gives Alexa a book on surviving middle school, explaining that she was sent to supervise her integration into humanity. Cottie, the Equalizer, comforts Alexa, noting her lack of family and friends, and offers her support. Alexa initially resists but eventually breaks down in tears, accepting Cottie''s comforting hug. Cottie admits to being an orphan herself and reveals that Equality saves orphans around the world and expresses her desire to help Alexa become more human.
Chapter 10: The puppeteer Martin finds himself trapped in a body that is controlled by an alien intelligence from 400 years in the future, referred to as Spiderbro by Alexa. Spiderbro has taken over Martin''s body and can hear his thoughts. Spiderbro plans to use Alexa to bring more of its kind to their world. Martin''s body, now under Spiderbro''s control, exercises vigorously and undergoes minor physical transformations such as seeing weird notices and improved vision. In the living room, Martin''s dad and sister, Ember, confront him about his recent involvement with a supervillain. Spiderbro takes over the conversation, lying convincingly and reassuring Martin''s father that everything is under control. Ember is furious with Martin and demands punishment, but their father dismisses her and promises to investigate the supervillain''s actions. Martin desperately tries to warn his father about Spiderbro''s presence, but he is unable to communicate his thoughts. Spiderbro taunts Martin and reveals that it plans to propagate its kind, but acknowledges that it must first study and understand their world. Frustrated and overwhelmed, Martin is unable to stop thinking about Alexa, which Spiderbro uses against him. Meanwhile, Martin''s father advises him not to get involved with villains and promises to handle the situation.
Chapter 11: The Palladin Alexa wakes up in her tree fortress. Cottie, the Paladin of Equality, reveals that she took off the helmet to let Alex rest. They engage in a conversation about using Benadryl to force sleep and Cottie''s role as Alexa''s monitor. Alexa suggests that Cottie should help her save the world instead. Cottie questions Alexa''s plan to destroy the Superstate and Alexa explains that they are secretly evil and reveals her intention to die to stop the Superstate and bring real equality to the world. Observing the damaged artwork in the tree fortress, Cottie wonders if Alexa had stolen them or if they are elaborate copies. Cottie remembers the words of Eminence Equality, instructing her to befriend and protect Alexa but ultimately end her life.
Chapter 12: The power of loops Twenty-four Nineteen (Cottie) observes Alexa applying band-aids to her many scratches. Alexa suggests adding some colorful band-aids to Cottie''s plain gray cloak, but Cottie declines. They discuss the uneven shower floor and the questionable safety of the shower. Alexa reveals that the treehouse they are in is lined with suitcases containing hydrogen bombs, shocking Cottie. Alexa explains that she wants to push Cottie out of her comfort zone and create a unique bond between a supervillain (herself) and an Enforcer (Cottie). She reveals her ability to time travel and explains her plan to exponentially increase the number of bombs [referencing the rice and chessboard problem]. Alexa warns that if Cottie kills her, the bombs will detonate, causing widespread destruction. Overwhelmed by the situation, Cottie reluctantly agrees to protect Alexa. She realizes that she has greatly underestimated the supervillain girl.
Chapter 13: A nutritious breakfast Spiderbro, [a skinwalker in Martin''s head], accompanies him to school. Martin does not wish to go to school, but Spiderbro is eager to learn about humanity. On the school bus, Martin''s body confronts a jock who mocks him and Spiderbro insults the jock. The confrontation escalates into a physical altercation won by Spiderbro. Suddenly the bus stops and Alexa and Cottie enter inside. Alexa offers Martin a bowl of fruit loops but accidentally drops them. As Martin is distracted, Alexa shoots him with her ray gun, causing him intense pain and seizures. Martin/Spiderbro pleads for her to stop, but she continues, revealing her villanous plan to track him down, befriend him and infect him with a skinwalker shard. In his desperation, Martin reaches out to the dying skinwalker in his mind, triggering a forced transformation into a superhero. Alexa claims victory.
Chapter 14: The trust square Martin is frustrated that his awakening as a hero did not happen as he had envisioned, and is concerned about the brain spider inside his head. Alexa, on the other hand, seems nonchalant and dismissive about the situation. Alexa sits on Cottie''s lap. Martin is surprised by Cottie''s agreeable nature, considering the reputation of the Equalizers as formidable enforcers. As they continue their journey, Martin becomes suspicious of Alexa''s true motives and questions her about the strange letters he sees in his eyes. Alexa defines GLMs, G-Dir and Terraforge and falls asleep on top of Cottie and Martin as they sit next to each other on the bus. Cottie reveals that Alexa buried numerous hydrogen bombs around the country. Shocked by this revelation, Martin fears the potential destruction that could be caused by the bombs. However, his brain spider reminds him that Alexa''s story about time travel and changing the future is likely a lie. Martin does not share his discoveries with Cottie as he does not trust the Equalizer Order.
15. Mothra Martin walks to school with Alexa and Cottie. He is feeling burdened by dark questions and thoughts about the skinwalker''s influence on his mind. Other students are scared of Cottie''s presence. Alexa tries to cheer Martin up, but he snaps at her, feeling deceived and manipulated. Alexa shows him a worn-out photo of himself as 12 year old, claiming to have been investigating him. Martin accuses her of using him as a test subject for the skinwalkers. Martin questions why she lies and manipulates him, but Alexa points to the sky, indicating the imminent end of the world. Cottie comments nonchalantly on Alexa''s desire to destroy the Superstate. Martin worries about the side effects of his awakened power and questions Alexa''s sanity. Amidst the chaos, Alexa playfully interacts with Cottie, trying to find the invisibility mode on her cloak. Martin begins to giggle nervously, fearing Cottie''s response. Alexa declares them all part of a fellowship and mentions an Admiral who will join them soon. Martin wonders who the Admiral is.
16. Lunch on the Lakeshore Martin is surprised by Alexa''s normal behavior at school, as she acts like a regular student without causing trouble. He suspects that she may be lying or manipulating him. The skinwalker spider in his head remains silent, observing the world. Martin realizes that there is still another skinwalker nearby and asks Alexa about Mr. Canard, who is infected with a skinwalker shard. However, Alexa tells him that she has already called the authorities to handle it. Martin contemplates what he would do if he encounters the skinwalker himself, knowing that he can now control the spider in his head. The trio sits by the lakeshore, and Alexa starts reading a book while resting her head on Cottie''s lap. Suddenly, an orange delivery drone arrives with a pizza, which Alexa pays for using a credit card. Martin wonders if Alexa lied about manipulating the SCA to protect him from the skinwalker''s control. Martin reflects on the impossibility of Alexa manipulating the Superstate, given the SCA''s advanced security measures and experienced heroes. He realizes that Alexa herself was manipulated by her father and the villain minion team she hired. Meanwhile, the spider in Martin''s head detects an irregularity in his memories, suggesting that someone is tampering with his mind. Martin becomes concerned about the presence of a mysterious stranger following them.
17. How do you do fellow kids Martin gets separated from the girls when he goes to use the bathroom, and on his way back, he encounters a group of students blocking his path. Among them, he notices a tall, red-haired girl who looks strangely familiar. He realizes with shock that it is his sister, Ember, who appears to have de-aged herself. Martin confronts Ember about her presence in their school and her mission. Ember reveals that she is on a mission to protect Martin and the town from Alexa. She explains that she has used her friends combined powers to alter her appearance and pass as a fourteen-year-old student. Martin questions her methods and her authority for this mission, but Ember dismisses his concerns and insists that she is qualified and acting in their best interests. She reveals that she''s been watching Alexa via the eyes of Titanomachy. When Ember leaves, Alexa appears and reveals that she is not afraid of Ember and the SCA agents, or "wardens," as she calls them. Martin asks Alexa for her raygun to give his sister a migrane in class.

  1. The Office of the Good Directorate Corporation (Planetary Capital).
Nobody can remember where the city of Eureka was originally located. Some Employees claim that its origins begin in America or Europe or even both at the same time. In truth, there was no single point of origin for Eureka as it grew out of the Good Directorate offices the branches of which dotted the planet, it being a Multinational, Global consortium of Corporations and franchises. As ANNET¡¯s processing power grew, so did the budget of the Good Directorate and so did the amount of office space, factories and land that they¡¯ve controlled.
  1. Global city.
Like a healthy sample of mold in a petri dish, Eureka quickly spread from a few dots to a spider web that spanned the entire planet buying up empty land, offices, skyscrapers, towns, nations and eventually continents.
  1. Interconnections.
Goods and Services of the Corporation had to transit from one place to another as quickly as possible. Things such as highways and supertankers were made obsolete through the intelligence explosion of ANNET and all the new tech that came with it. Why ship a container of goods somewhere, when you can just 3D print them wherever they are needed. Planes became obsolete as ANNET dotted the landscape with immovable Transit Gates [seamless, permanent wormholes that connected one area to another].
  1. Expansion beyond planetary space limits.
Users preferred earth to other planets during surveys and the Expansion of Good Directorate offices had to be maintained, so ANNET simply made more spaces within spaces. Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Imagine if you will a spider web that spans the entire planet. He is cast into existence by the Fractal Engines of Eureka. Three terminates any threats to the System stability wherever they appear. If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. Personality: Exceptionally ruthless. Pretending to be lawful to undermine everything everywhere.
Skills: Good at building prisons and manufacturing world narratives.
Biography: 1917: Summoned from the void by the Revolutionary Enclave of Vladimir Lenin and Mikhail Lavrentyev using the magical theories of Dr. Dolivo-Dobrovolsky. Married to Lenin. 1924: Lost Lenin to a curse, swore to protect USSRA in his name. Married to Stalin. 1928: Guided Vladislav Kerenski and Zariya Proshkovna Grimmaldri to design the Resonance Stars. 1929: Helped install the first Resonance Star. 1953: Lost Stalin when her Earth was cast from Eureka into the Dead Zone. Engaged to Khrushchev. 1954: Helped Vladislav Kerenski and Zariya Proshkovna Grimmaldri create CHRUSH briefcase, a mobile Fractal Engine. 1955: Helped the Soviet Ministry of Magic build Warship Roraima, used it to leap to the foundry of worlds. Signed a pact with other System Wizards to build Manchester University of Magic and its Prisonsphere heart.
Revolution is a conceptoid [conceptual entity]. Her appearance is that of a figure sketched into reality using red, black, and white ink dots. The citizens of USSRA (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Archmagi) maintain Revolution''s existence through their unwavering belief. To sustain this belief, they must remain in a state of perpetual conflict against perceived enemies, focusing their belief through Charisma stars. USSRA citizens are also stabilized into existence as ''base humanity'' amidst the Dead Zone by the power of Charisma stars. While Revolution has the power to liberate USSRA, doing so would diminish her strength as a belief-fueled concept and hinder her ultimate goal of overthrowing the Numbers. She strategically chooses not to free her human followers at present from the corpse world Dead Zone mesh as the USSRA Charisma stars wouldn''t work as well in the Magisphere of Desire [as the further you go from Eureka, the weaker desire-magic becomes]. Her associates, including Slava and Zariya, along with other Archmages from the Soviet Ministry of Magic, have created complex dimensional spaces within subreality folds, starting with the KHRUSH experiment. KHRUSH is a multifaceted concept:
  1. An infinite, fractal 1950s USSR apartment complex
  2. A mobile Fractal Engine contained in a suitcase, carried by Wizard Revolution
  3. A prison for humanity, funneling their desire for freedom into the suitcase''s handle
The desire field generated by KHRUSH powers Warship Roraima, granting Wizard Revolution the ability to manipulate reality and travel between dimensions, from the Dead Zone to the Magisphere of Desire to Eureka''s core. KHRUSH allowed Revolution to make deals with the Lawmakers and System Wizards, resulting in Manchester''s transformation into a city accessible to any lawful entity possessing a Fractal Engine. Revolution''s KHRUSH also enabled the construction of Manchester Wizard University and its associated Prisonsphere, a multidimensional containment facility for Fallen System Wizards, Darklings and other Entropic Entities. Unlimited Isekai - Kitlix Kitlix are unique magical creatures native to Shandria. These small, somewhat sentient creatures resemble a fusion of cats, snakes, dragons and liquid gemstones. Their shape is very fluid and can change depending on their function and position. They weight very little and can easily sit on their Master''s shoulders, back or head. Kitlix are prized for their ability to channel and amplify magical energies, making them invaluable companions to adventurers, mages, healers, and other magic users. Magical alignment archetypes: Red for strength, orange for agility, yellow for dexterity, green for vitality, blue for charisma, silver for general magic, violet for foresight, cyan for intelligence, and magenta for wisdom. Key Characteristics:
  • Size: Typically no larger than a mundane kitten
  • Appearance: Crystalline bodies with gem-like eyes, often displaying colors associated with their magical affinities
  • Reproduction: Asexual; they split into two smaller Kitlix when well-fed and content. Born from any object with runes on them.
  • Diet: Primarily mana crystals and their master''s magical energy
  • Lifespan: Unknown
  • Damage: Can be damaged enough to revert to their base state, a gemstone cluster, which can be destroyed with effort. It is bad luck to kill Kitlix as people who do so vanish during the night.
  • Collective Intelligence: Intelligence aligned Kitlix can be connected via a network of knowledge. Example: Adventurers Guild & Watchmen Kitlix ID Net.
Uses:
  1. Magical Amplification: Kitlix can enhance their master''s magical abilities within their specific affinity.
  2. Spell Hosting: They can store and maintain specific spells, such as truth detection or information gathering.
  3. Familiar Bonding: Kitlix form strong bonds with their masters, often serving as lifelong companions.
  4. Utility: Some Kitlix are used for specific tasks like maintaining forges, detecting lies, or calculating complex mathematics.
Cultural Significance: Kitlix are deeply integrated into the magical society of Shandria. They are used in various official capacities, such as truth detection in legal proceedings and information gathering for city guards. Many magic users consider their Kitlix to be extensions of themselves, valuing the creatures not just for their magical utility but also for their companionship. Breeding and Acquisition: While Kitlix can technically be bred by anyone by accident by simply bringing a rune covered tool to Shandria, bonding requires specific skills to keep the Kitlix bound to a person/organization/object/location.

Suppression & focus gemstones woven into her outfit Suppress her power and focus it, make her persist in daytime Shandria as a Celestixus
Due to the Highborn Lord interference with the Engine of Crown Continuity and the undead uprising in Shandria lead by Mad Mad Kells Scrumangoff killing Natalie 19 years ago with a Knell blade, the soul of Natalie shattered into 77 distinctive pieces. Instead of a single Nox princess being reincarnated to rule Shandria and to become Nox at the Crown Tower, 77 soul shards were injected into 77 newborn girls, turning them from mundane talented mages to Celestixus. Cedez is one of these girls and she''s dimly aware of the other Celestixus who seek to find and murder her. The problem is that Celestixus cannot be killed through mundane means, as the Ward of Shandria unmakes them into Leviathan Nightingale and makes them into themselves again. Any damage sustained by a Celestixus changes their appearance and personality introducing new errors into the Engine of Continuity. Cedez and the others are defined as marred Celestixus, an unstable construct unable to wield their own power. Like Kitlix, a marred Celestixus must rely on heros/champions to amplify their own power. The Kitlix and Celestixus are a side effect of the power of the Engine of Crown Continuity changing Shandria from within. A large number of other 77 princesses are incomplete beings or have been ground down through continuous murders to turn them into wraiths who seek to consume any heroes that interact with the princesses. Many of them don''t even have a physical body, existing as Astral entities guiding their champions from within, occupying bodies of men they''ve taken over. A marred Celestixus can make themselves a stable humanoid-shaped body if they produce magical anchors (the blue gemstones on Cedez''s outfit). Cedez sensed that she was turning into a Celestixus, coming apart every night and being put back together by Leviathan Nightingale. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it. When she was seven, Cedez was killed by one of the other marred and realized that she had changed based on her parents and siblings expectations of her. At nine years old, Cedez ran away from home, and found Snailmancer Murdoc who became her mentor. Through experimentation Murdoc and Cedez figured out how to stabilize her essence through magical runestones. When Cedez turned 10, she and Murdoc hunted down a giant snail Bessie in the wilds and adopted her, building a home for Cedez inside the snail and also opening the Cambria Snail Cafe. At 13 Cedez started to work at her own cafe as a maid, alongside the other girls Murdoc hired. At 19 she met Dave, the Phantomancer and decided to adopt him as her own champion. Cedez''s plan for Dave is to hollow out his mind to control him as a puppet if he turns out to be a monster like Mad Mage Kells, or to see if he will do the right things looking at him through the Celestixus-Champion magic and the eyes of the shadows and red eyes of the Ward of Shandria (triangular runes). Celestixus-Champion interaction magic: Cedez is able to amplify Dave''s magic a hundred times through touch, similar to how Kitlix do it, except this power comes at a cost - it drains the finite mana of runestones that Cedez has all over her outfit, which destabilizes her slightly. Amplification of Dave''s powers: Foresight: Event: Deathstranding Depending on amount of points in Foresight which translates into hours, Dave experiences a set number of hours of a perfectly clear future-experience that ends with Dave''s heart stopping when [Affliction: Deathstranding 00:00:00] timer runs out or when Dave dies. If Dave is killed by one of the other Celestixus, he loses some or all of the knowledge gained. As the entire event takes zero time, it only requires a single touch from Cedez to activate. Strength: Event: One Punch Mage Dave is able to magnify his punching power and invincibility 100 times. Cedez must touch Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Danger: Attracts attention of the other Celestixus. Dexterity: Event: Phantom Threads: Dave''s fingers become incredibly precise, phantom fingers forming connected to his own fingers. For the next set number of hours, his finger movements become so fluid and accurate that he can manipulate objects at a microscopic level, perform delicate tasks perfectly, able to build complex tools. After the effects wear off, Dave experiences a temporary loss of fine motor skills for some hours as his body and senses recalibrate. Cedez must hold onto Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Vitality: Event: Gorefield Slotting a set number of points into vitality, Dave''s endurance and health dramatically increase. He becomes nearly indestructible, immune to toxins, diseases, and physical damage. His stamina is inexhaustible and his healing powers are equivalent to that of an Arcmage healer. Cedez must hold onto Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Danger: The healing miracles attract attention of the other Celestixus, Healers Hall and Highborns. Charisma: Event: Standing Wave Depends on desire. Positive Charisma results in - Dave gains an enchanting allure and persuasiveness. His words can sway crowds, resolve conflicts, and charm any listener. His presence alone can influence emotional states around him. Inverted Charisma results in - Dave being invisible. Cedez must hold onto Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Danger: Use of excessive Charisma attracts attention of the other Celestixus and Highborns who seek talented Charismancers for their heralds and won''t take no for an answer. City Watch Scrutimancers will invalidate deals made with Charisma persuasion and imprison Charismancers for mental manipulation magic. General Magic: Event: Arcane Surge: Dave can amplify any spells or magical effects he casts a hundedfold. He can access and channel magic typically beyond his reach. Cedez must hold onto Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Danger: Spells cast through this effect attract attention of the other Celestixus. Intelligence: Event: Mind''s Expanse: Dave''s cognitive abilities skyrocket. Dave can memorize entire books, process information at an exponential rate, solve complex problems instantly, and learn new skills rapidly. His memory becomes photographic, recalling every detail with perfect clarity. Cedez must hold onto Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Danger: none, unless Intelligent Artifacts and Golems are made. Intelligence amplifies internal calculation power levels. Wisdom: Event: Personal Sage [Sherlock]. Grants Dave profound insight and foresight by summoning the ghost of Sherlock who understands complex philosophical concepts effortlessly and can predict outcomes with remarkable accuracy. Cedez must hold onto Dave for this effect to work. Can be cast once and has a long cool-down period. Danger: Sherlock is visible by people who can see magic. Using him in public attracts attention of Celestixus and powerful magi curious as to who cast a Searcher ghost. Astral Celesticus can steal knowledge gained through the Personal Sage as it smells fresh and tasty to them. Unlimited Isekai - Glossary
