 Chapter 1

    As I slowly opened my eyes I looked around to find myself in an unfamiliar place,"hey you finally woke up, for a second there I thought of the worst" said an unfamiliar voice, "who are you and where are we" I said as I looked at him with a puzzled face. he looked back at me," my name is ben I''m 17 and we are right now at district 2 discovery" he said "how long have you been asleep for ?"  "I don''t know myself, infact I''m having trouble remembering my own name and the place I came from" I replied, he look at me but this time he wasn''t looking with a concerned face but instead a serious one "you don''t know about the apocalypse do you", I thought to myself wait apocalypse but just 5 minutes ago I was with my best friend drinking at a caf¨¦ and talking about the midterms, suddenly I was interrupted by a voice, "ben did she wake up yet" shouted a voice from the other side of the door "yes Brittany'''' ben shouted back. I could hear footsteps coming towards the door.

    As the door opened I saw a tall girl about 14 years old. She had grey eyes and blonde hair, "thank goodness you''re finally awake, you were asleep for  3 days!" she said with a relieved voice, "you scared us when we found you lying on the ground in the middle if the street¡±, wait the middle of the street but I was inside caf¨¦ I thought ¡°what did you say about the apocalypse earlier¡±, the girl Brittny spoke with a shocked face ¡±you don''t know about the apocalypse ! it''s been 5 months, how do you not know!", "there is no way you don¡¯t know¡± ¡±unless¡±" I''ve been in a coma for 5 months¡± i finally spoke,¡± but how is that possible the day of the apocalypse¡± at that moment the room fell silent. We all didn''t know how I fell into a coma on that exact day.

 Chapter 3

    I wore the clothes Brittny gave me and hesitantly walked down the stairs. I was as scared as I was confused, it made no sense but my thoughts were interrupted as I reached the bottom of the stairs. I was greeted by one annoyed and one worried face,¡± oh my goddess, I¡¯m so glad you''re ok¡±, the worried face said,¡± my name is Sophia Adams And I¡¯m 16, over there is Lucas and he is 18¡± as she pointed to the annoyed face¡± anyway what''s your name?¡± she asked me ¡± I''m Ari and I¡¯m 17¡± I said in a quiet voice.

    Sophia glared back at Lucas while he just looked away¡± don¡¯t mind him he¡¯s always like that, so tell us where are you from and how did you end up here you don¡¯t look local¡± ¡± yes I¡¯m not from around here I came from south Korea on a school field trip¡± yeah school field trip¡± Lucas said sarcastically ¡±Lucas can you come to talk with me in the kitchen¡± said Sophia with an angry yet calm face and tone.     ¡± Right,¡± I said hoping not for the worst while holding my tears back ¡± about that ¡± Sophia said in a sad tone almost as if she was about to cry ¡± there were 5 of us before¡± Brittny spoke as a tear came to her eye. Silence filled the room once more you could hear faint sobs and sniffles, suddenly ¡® BANG BANG BANG¡® i stood up ¡±did you find a suitcase next to me ¡± yes¡± ben said trying not to cry¡± can you please bring me it¡± I said with a determined voice, ben nodded.
