《TheOnlyWay》 How to Obtain Eternal Life If you were to die today, are you 100% sure that you are going to go to heaven? The way to get saved is very simple. It is simply salvation alone without works through the Lord Jesus Christ in this Christian day and age. If you are not sure if you are going to heaven when you die, it''s very simple to get saved. First you have got to understand that because of sin, God is a holy God, and He cannot even allow 1% of sin into heaven. So He has to judge sin with a burning hell. So it is very important that you got to realize how serious sin is and you must repent. You might say, "I guess I''ve got to clean up my sins" "I guess I have to go to church" "I guess I have to get baptized" "I have to be a good person" No my friend, good works can never save you. Jesus is God who died for our sins, buried and resurrected so that he can pay all the sins for you. You don''t have to pay a single sin for yourself. Jesus did all the work: He died for our sins, was buried and on the third day resurrected. His blood has reconciled us with God the Father, his blood has redeemed us, his blood has paid it all, his blood has washed us from all our sins, if we simply believe. Jesus did everything so that anyone can be saved, if only you put your faith solely at what he did at the cross, at his finished work. And just as God is 100% perfect, Jesus who is God, his finished work is also 100% perfect. Once you are saved, you can''t lose it. His blood washed away both past, present and future sins. So all you have to do as a repent sinner is to turn to what He did at the cross alone for your salvation. You might say, "I do believe only on what Jesus did at the cross to save me." Then you''re saved. Because you are trusting on what Jesus did at the cross to save you. You might ask, "How do I know I''m saved?" 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. Hebrew 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (24)Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 MOREOVER, BRETHREN, I declare unto you the gospel which I was preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2)By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. (3)For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (4)And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9)Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:8-11 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (9)Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (10)For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 3:23-25 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: You might ask, "What is sin?" (1Corinthians 6:9-10 Romans 13:13) Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, (20)Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, (21)Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit, you can''t lose salvation, can''t go to hell, but you can lose rewards, even not inheriting the kingdom of God. Corinthians 3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (12)Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; (13)Every man''s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man''s work of what sort it is. (14)If any man''s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. (15)If any man''s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Precious Blood & Once Saved Always Saved 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Jesus paid the price with His own blood. It is His blood, and only His blood, that washed us from our sins. You might ask, "Why the blood?" Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood, Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Acts 15: 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. It is God''s blood (Acts 20:28) and as mentioned in Leviticus 17:11, the life of the flesh is in the blood, which is also why in Acts 15:29, it tells us to abstain from blood. 2 Peter 2:1 BUT THERE were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. As mentioned in 2 Peter 2:1, the Lord bought us. You might question, "What did He bought us from?" You might also ask, "What is so special about sin?" Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The wages of sin is death. This is why Jesus paid the price for us with his death, burial, resurrection and the shedding of His blood at the cross. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. The most beautiful thing is that, Jesus did all the work. He lived a sinless life, died for us, for our sins, and we only need to put our faith on what Jesus did at the cross, at his finished work and we are saved. God made it so simple so that everyone could be saved, if they only have faith. And you might ask, "Is faith also work?" Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: God is the one who gives us the faith. Grace + Faith + Salvation, all belong to God. That''s why it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. We are under Grace since we are still in the Church Age. No works, since Jesus did it all at the cross John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Jesus said it is finished and so it is finished indeed. You might ask, "Does that mean I don''t lose salvation/eternal life?" If you believe solely on what Christ did alone at the cross to save you from hell, the answer is YES. You are saved. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. It clearly tells at Ephesians 4:30 that we can grieve the Holy Spirit, but we don''t lose the Holy Spirit because we are sealed until redemption. However this is only during the Church Age. During the Tribulation (the church would already be raptured out of this world), it isn''t only faith, but faith and works (do not grieve the Holy Ghost). So believe and be saved while you are still able. Please. Jesus will take his bride, which are those who believed on what He did alone at the cross to save them. You might ask, "What did Jesus do alone at the cross to save us?" Corinthians 15:1-4 MOREOVER BRETHREN, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2)By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye believed in vain. (3)For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: There is a parable in Matthew 13 about tares and wheat. Which is about gathering the nations together before throwing it to be burned. And the rapture happening before the gathered nations were to be burned. Mathew 13:24-26 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: (25) But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. (26)But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. The man is the Lord. The world is the field. The seed is the word of God. The wheat are the Christians. The tares are false Christians (tares look similar to wheats)/nations. And the enemy is satan. Matthew 13:27-30 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? (28)He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? (29)But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. (30)Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. The tares (nations and false Christians) will be bundled (gathered) to be burnt, while the wheat (Christians) will the gathered (raptured) to the barn(heaven). Notice how the tares are only to be gathered/bundled and not yet to be burnt while the wheat is still there. It is only after the church have been raptured will the tribulation start. Zephaniah 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Philippians 3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: (21)Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. When we believe on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ at the cross, we are saved, that is, our soul. As for our bodies, to those who have passed and to those who are still alive on earth, all those in Christ, are, as Romans 8:23 mentions, waiting for the redemption of our body. Which is the rapture. 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, When Paul mentions mystery, it means that it''s something that hasn''t been reveal before Paul, . "...We shall not all sleep..." are all those in the body of Christ, both those who have passed and those who are still alive. 1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. So the rapture will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. Both those who are dead and alive will be raptured. "...we shall be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54)So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. The corruptible is the fleshly body our soul is residing in. The tent, the vessel. Although we are made a new creature and sealed with the Holy Spirit after putting our faith on the gospel of Jesus Christ (born again), a soul with no sin (since our soul is now washed with the blood of Jesus Christ), our mortal earthly body is still corrupt. Our mortal body hasn''t been redeemed yet, until the rapture happens. Which is why the corruptible (sinful flesh) must put on incorruption (a new body) and the mortal must put on immortality. Romans 8:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (10)For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life As mentioned in Romans 8:9, those who are justified by his blood (Jesus), notice how we are saved from the wrath through Jesus. So those in the body of Christ will not go through the wrath (tribulation). Why? Because Jesus took God''s wrath in our place. Where? At the cross, where Jesus died for our sin, was buried and on the third day rose from the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 MOREOVER, BRETHREN, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2)By which also yet are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye believed in vain.
