《Chaotic Lands》 Why Worlds Are Formed In the beginning, their was nothing but chaos absolute discord. A void of nothingness that stretched on for the infinite. From this chaos one day appeared order something that drew the chaos the nothingness together and then the chaos took it apart the process repeated an inumerable amount of times it continued until forever had come and gone until the very void started to change into a field of billions upon quintillion''s of whirlpools with each whirlpool forming a reality which rules were dictated by the amount of chaos and order contained within them. The larger the whirlpool the stronger the reality and the more energy absorbed by said reality which let it grow quicker. Whilst the larger the reality the stronger the bonds that held it together made it nigh impossible for large realities to ever run low on energy for there was no way for the energy to ever leave through the tight bonds that held said reality together. As each reality formed with its own unique set of rules beings were formed in accordance to those rules. Races were made to be able to swim within molten lava or survive icy tundras some born with insane natural strength due to some regions having a natural attument towards gravitational energy hence increasing gravitational pull by an insane amount whilst also gifting its inhabitants with that same natural affinity. As more people gathered together with the same affinity they naturally started to produce that affinity in the surrounding area again strenghting the affinity there whilst if enough people of an opposing or different affinity gathered there in mass they would slowly change that areas natural affinity. This lead to certain rises to power or allowed some people to achieve great thing in some areas but abysmally in others but once someone reaches a certain strength the affinity no longer matters all that matters is the level of energy as such gateways were constructed so that the strong may go to the higher realities that hold denser energy generally also means there is a lower level of natural affinity within the area for denser energy is harder to corrupt it takes a longer period of time and a lot more natural affinity to be released and only people loved by laws were able to expel enough energy to affect higher density areas but some empires have been around since the realities begun and they hold a natural affinity making them safe havens for the strong and weak alike dense energy and a strong affinity the perfect place to increase ones own power. Yet within all of these realities there is none that is said to be the strongest for the truly strong do not enter fights often as such every few millennium someone is removed from the list of the strong. They are mainly killed by scholars, warriors, wizards, warlocks or any other being that dabbles in the same law as they themselves do to replace them and claim themselves to be the strongest of their law and yet as the millennium go by the rate at which these replacements occur increas for slowly more and more people gain strength grow stronger and fight for dominance the years tick by and slowly a list is established that''s tells of the great powers of the world where they made their names and what careers they dabble in.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Birth Of The First Chaosborn Many worlds were made for being of various strength, upon one of these worlds, a world of barren stone far as the eye could see mixed with forests that grew from stones with no grass in sight to waterfall that flew through the air connecting to the huge islands that flew through the sky. Upon these islands lived creatures of unbelievable might their very presence was strong enough to change the affinity upon the islands they inhabited, the changes to affinity were welcome and common upon this planet due to the fact that this was a chaos heavy planet where the rules were of an ever-changing nature. The affinities constantly changing and growing whenever a creature of sufficient strength claimed an island wether making their own or killing and stealing an island for their own. On this chaotic planet in a small forest on the true surface of this planet a new being was formed and born, this creature was formed from the very essence of this planet a creature formed of chaos, the first of its kind a true Chaosborn. when this creature was forming it had no shape to become for their was no being in the surrounding area that would form an acceptable base for this creature to grow off of. years began to pass as the Chaosborn waited for a form and proceeded to absorb more and more chaotic energy as it continued to increase its own affinity for this element. far away from this place a battle for one of these islands was occurring the creatures where huge over 1000m tall and 5000m long these creatures resembled huge lizards where one was bright green in colour whilst the other was a dark blue. they fought for over 7days, upon the last day when the dust started to clear from the ferocious battle between these two monstrous creatures the creature left standing was the green lizard, these lizards were the weakest subspecies of earth dragons known merely as ground wyverns. the green ground wyvern was nature based and thus its attacks held an advantage against the water lizards, however great this battle appeared this was merely an everyday occurrence across the entire world countless of these battles could be seen occurring, for these were the smallest and weakest of the creatures present. A creature such as a ground wyvern although a mere subspecies of dragon still held an extreme innate talent towards magic, however this talent was focused entirely upon physical reinforcement. when a creature focuses on reinforcement magic the size of their body represents the strength of the creature, until a certain point where they gain a high enough level of enlightenment and can freely control their own form. beings in every world are graded by a consistent system based upon their danger level known as levels ranging from 1-100 where every ten levels a break through occurs, leading to a drastic increase in power where ever 100 level they reset to level 1, however as a tier higher being with each tier being much stronger than the previous tier. the way to advance through each tier was completely different for individuals, since it is based upon their understanding of the world and how to improve themselves. Over countless millennia the methods to improve strength have become varied to ridiculous degrees, and methods that are good can be taught to others to allow them to use the same method as them. as we move past this and return to the Chaosborn a countless number of eons later and for the first time this small corner of the world was noticed. A beast of great size 10m in height from ground to shoulder with a length 21m it was gigantic of a beast, yet there existed beings of much greater size than it, it had a mouth full of sharp canines with rounded ears covered by a mane, bright red colour a golden coat with red streaks with a tail nearly 10m long capped with a physical flame. This gigantic creature was an adamantine lion with a fire affinity this was shown by its bright red mane where the stronger the colour the stronger the affinity. The lion appeared to be wounded with deep cuts along the left side about half way down the torso in the shape of talons. The Adamantine lion walked past the Chaosborn, as the adamantine lion walked past the energy around the Chaos born reacted, sending out tendrils of chaotically coloured light. The Adamantine lion unable to even sense the tendrils was scanned completely by the tendrils and from there the body of the Chaosborn was formed. A vortex formed sucking in life force from the surrounding vegetation to help in the formation of the body. the body was formed small only a single meter in length with 48cm shoulder height. This small creature was pure white in colour with streaks of every colour mixed in. Eyes of constantly changing colour and a tail only 50cm long tail, there was a small ball of undulating energy on the tip of the tail that constantly shifted in colour. as the creature was being born the world itself helped in the birthing of the Chaosborn by sending down strikes of lightning to supply excess energy leading to a doubling in size. This was the birth of the first Chaosborn, the birth of a legend. When the creature gazed upon the world for the first time and felt the energy generated by beasts and beings it did not cower it merely grinned the smile spread wide all teeth showing as a maniac glint flickered within its eyes. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. The Enlightenment As the Chaosborn stood there and gazed upon the world and smiled maniacally it realised something whilst thinking of the adamantine lion that the it had scanned whilst still being fed by the worlds energy, it realised that the creature was weaker than it could be, No. It is being limited so that it is weaker than it could be, this in turn made it think if such a strong creature was to be limited to this point then what of itself, and so in a daze of enlightenment this Chaosborn gazed upon its soul. the soul looked much like itself however made of energy of constantly changing colours never completely one colour never completely another it stood there, held in place by chains simple in design they were pinned to one another by simple locks that only required a few movements to break. The Chaosborn walked towards these lock and slowly undid them, one by one leading to the chain coming loose allowing the creatures soul to grow larger into a lion of 3m tall 6.5m in length with a large mane, however after the lion is finished growing more chains appear and clasp the now larger soul limiting the size the soul can grow to. There are 3 times as many chains as there was previously upon the soul with each chain containing a different and more complicated locking mechanism, however when these new seals were formed the previous seal was laid down beneath the Chaosborn''s soul and slowly energy dripped from the chained soul into the container the previous seal provided. The Chaosborn suddenly felt itself changing and so it left it''s soul and looked at itself and realised it had grown to the same size as its soul. the only difference between the Chaosborn and its soul was the colouring of each with the Chaosborn being white with multicoloured streaks through its beautiful fur and with a new mane of every known colour having formed being lush and majestic providing a new look of strength. From this the chaos born realised that it could unseal its power so that it could become stronger much like the Adamantine lion that had walked past its growing self, however for this to happen the Chaosborn would need to learn more about seals to comprehend their nature and their purpose. For this it would need to examine the seals placed upon other creatures and see how they have broken their own seals. For this he would have to gaze upon that creatures soul, no creature would let another stare upon their soul, their biggest vulnerability, so the Chaosborn realised that for this to happen it would need to kill other creatures and gaze upon their soul when dead to examine the methods used to breach the seals the creatures used to have upon themselves. With this realisation the Chaosborn started walking off into the distance looking for a creature that possessed a soul strong enough to examine. The reason a certain strength was required for the prey of the Chaosborn was the fact that it could gain no knowledge from creatures that had yet to break their own seals, hence it could only ever fight strong creature, or creatures with unique strengthening methods since they were the only creatures that would be able to increase it''s knowledge on the methods they used to unseal their soul. So the Chaosborn walked, as the Chaosborn walked it observed the world around itself, from the gigantic trees to the tiniest of insects, as it gazed upon these various creatures it slowly realised that there were differences even in these creatures, it realised that if it controlled the energy from its soul to flow through its body and into its eyes it realised that each of these creatures wether bug or plants had seals placed upon their souls limiting the strength that the currently possessed. as it continued to run the energy through its body it realised that much like the seal under its soul its body could absorb the soul energy and strengthen itself. With this discovery the Chaosborn kept the energy flowing through its body to help strengthen it overtime increasing its own strength. days went by and the Chaosborn realised that the energy slowly lost its effect to strengthen its body meaning this would only be a temporary method to increase its strength , as such with this discovery it renewed its search for creatures that could help it remove the seals that existed upon its soul. it slowly continued to walk through the shrubs and trees gazing at their weak souls until it heard a noise. its head flicked to the side and stared directly at the origin of the noise and saw a small creature only 2m in length and 1.2m in length, this creature was an evergreen rabbit and a deep green in colour. When the evergreen rabbit realised that it was noticed it proceeded to launch itself towards the Chaosborn at a ridiculous speed, however as the Evergreen rabbit flew through the air the Chaosborn jumped towards the Evergreen rabbit as well with its paws rated high it swung at the Evergreen rabbit and missed leading to the Evergreen rabbit cleanly kicking the Chaosborn in the forelimbs. This caused the lion to front flip through the air and directly hit the Evergreen rabbit leading to the Chaosborn landing on top of the Evergreen rabbit and stun it. whilst the rabbit was regaining its wits from the Chaos born landing on it the Chaosborn bit the rabbit in the neck and clamped its mouth down. When the rain of blood went into the Chaosborn''s mouth it''s lips curled up into a horrifying smiled before proceeding to instinctively guide the energy into its neck and jaw muscles, temporarily increasing there power so that the Chaosborn could smash the Evergreen rabbit repeatedly into the ground leading to its abrupt death. when the evergreen rabbit was dead the Chaosborn looked at its body and channelled its energy from its soul into its eyes, now that it could see the soul of the Evergreen rabbit it could see how the seals placed upon its soul had been solved and thrown away they sat next to its soul leaving 2 complete seals on its soul and 2 completed seals next to its soul. When the Chaosborn gazed upon the 2 completed seals it realised that these seals held simple patterns that could be solved with some simple movements and twits that would change their very shape to allow the freeing of the chains from the soul of the creature. This Let the Chaosborn realise that the 1st seal on its body had a similar method to sole it as such it instantly entered its soul and slowly started to play with the first seal. Many hours later the Chaosborn was finally done with the seal a huge explosion of energy was released and combined with the Chaosborns soul, there appeared to be no changes. The seal joined the previous completed seal beneath its bound soul and slowly proceeded to fill with the energy dripping from its soul as well. this led to an increase in overall energy, however when the soul was let more free more of the energy from the soul was able to drip down increasing the quantity received, however when the quantity increased the drops purity also increased. When the Chaosborn noticed this it left its soul and found that the energy was once again increasing the strength of its body. with this it wondered how strong its body currently was and so it approached a tree 10m in diameter and over 100m tall, it struck the tree and was able to make the tree shake and even brake off a small piece if bark. The strength behind this hit was over 10000N of force which is roughly getting hit with one ton of force. This hit would be able to kill the Evergreen rabbit, the Chaosborn realised that the Evergreen rabbits corpse was still on the ground surrounded by dry blood. when the Chaosborn remembered biting the Evergreen rabbit during the fight it wondered wether it could do that again, and so it proceeded to bite the Evergreen rabbit and swallow a chunk of flesh from it it loved the taste, the coppery tang and the sour aftertaste it proceeded to eat the entire Evergreen rabbit bones, and all. After this the Chaosborn proceeded to keep walking in search of its next prey to help it increase its strength yet again.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Journey??? The Chaosborn crossed kilometres in search of its next prey and walked without rest, for it did not need rest with the energy that the soul constantly provided to it''s body. like this the Chaosborn could travel with no need for food, water, sleep or even air since the energy provided all these things to its body. After travelling for so long the Chaosborn had realised that it needs to develop ways to fight different types of prey and has such begun practicing to strike accurately and powerfully from all positions. The hours passed as the Chaosborn walked and contemplated how to strike in such a manner. As the Chaosborn contemplated the possible techniques it could use for striking it realised that, there was nowhere for these techniques to be tested. The only place to test these techniques would be on the trees, however trees could never simulate hitting or attacking an actual living being. living beings will move act unpredictably which means adaption will be incorporated automatically if the style is baed upon fighting the living as opposed to fighting the inanimate objects that can''t dodge block or even move. The Chaosborn kept looking for another fight and another meal, as the hours passed a noise was heard. A quiet rustling in the bushes the Chaosborn turned its head and leaped to the side and there stood a creature more horrifying than the creatures it fought before it was 5m tall 6m long and looked a cross between a frog and a beetle. It had the 6 frog legs each covered in carapace that protected each leg as well as its back, out of it''s mouth there was a long tongue that had pincers on either side to allow the holding of prey. the Chaosborn gazed upon the Frotle and like usual it ran towards the beast to attack, however the Fortle shot its tongue straight at the Chaosborn as it ran in a straight line instantly catching it and pulling it towards it''s mouth where the pincers pierced both sides of it''s body. The Chaosborn roared in agony before repeatedly striking the tongue wrapped around it''s body trying to remove it''s hold. the Fortle proceeded to release it''s tounge squealing in agony and the start smashing the Chaosborn against the ground in the hopes of killing it. As the Chaosborn was swung through the air it proceeded to to swing its arm and scratch the top of the Frotle''s head, however the Chaosborn''s claws bounced off the carapace. The Chaosborn stopped swinging and observed as it continued to observer it noticed that the big eyes lacked any carapace upon them. The Chaosborn swung and struck the eye with its paw, from this the Fortle roared in agony and threw the Chaosborn directly into a tree from this a sickening crunch was heard, the lower back probably broken from the throw. The Fortle when it was able to open its eyes again turned toward the Chaosborn aimed it''s pincers and went to gore it opponent on them. When the Fortle was just about to hit the Chaosborn, it threw a rock and hit the Fortle in the other eye causing an instinctive flinch. When the flinch occurred the Chaosborn propelled itself forward using its two working limbs and ripped the unarmored stomach of the Fortle open and feasted upon it''s intestines as the Chaosborn feasted it''s wounds healed at a speed visible to the naked eye by the end of it''s feast no meant was left though neither were any injuries. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. After the feast was completed the Chaosborn gazed upon the Frotles now unguarded soul. The Chaosborn had realised that stronger creatures innately guarded their soul from sight, when sight was used on the now unguarded soul it saw the Frotle''s soul had nearly 3 undone locks merely a simple movement off of being a 10th level being, and undergoing it''s first evolution. The Chaosborn looked at the locks and slowly contemplated how it could solve the seals placed upon its own soul. A sate of enlightenment was again reached by the Chaosborn as hours were sent solving the next lock upon it''s soul. Through this it managed to break the next two locks placed upon it''s soul the soul of the Chaosborn increased in size yet again now 10 metres tall and 19m long the chain came yet again and the energy''s purity increased, just like the previous time. The Chaosborn glanced upon the world and realised that it was special, it was different. It Was superior and so it deserved something to be called a name and so it roared, it roared the name it chose, the name of Abbadon first Son of Chaos. Abbadon realised that it had grown in power yet again and that it could feed more energy into his body. Abbadon realised if his body is energy can he not manipulate his own body? So he tested this fact and found that he could shift his body to his thoughts though when he stopped focusing he would return to the original Adamantine lion form. This would give him an edge in combat if he could freely control the length of his limbs. He practiced as he walked in search of new prey. It took a lot shorter to find his next prey, and he attacked the prey by swinging his arm towards the creatures chest before it could even realise what was happening. the attack instantly killed the creature, Abbadon realised that he had outgrown this area considering that every creature he had fought in this area appeared to be below a 10th level creature, so he decided to leave the small corner and travel further out. once again he started walking, however this time he walked in the direction his senses pointed him for strength, this was something he unlocked when he evolved once again. The sense directed him towards strength, thats the feeling it gave him at least and he trusted his feelings. So again Abbadon headed on a journey, however this time he had a goal to gain strength recognition and the ability to live.
