《ES Organic Dungeon》 Ive Awoken from my Slumber! I¡¯ve Awoken from my Slumber! There was nothing around me, it couldn¡¯t even be called void since void is a lack of everything. That''s probably how astronauts felt when they saw space for the first time. I tried to look at myself and I found out that I¡¯m nothing more than a flickering orb that is burning in green and blue fire. My nerdy side was praying that green fire isn''t a corrupted form of magic while the rational side was analyzing what can I do in this environment. After what felt like a day I figured out how to move or rather shift my point of perspective. I achieved this marvelous feat by trying to extinguish the flames. I couldn¡¯t do it physically so I thought really hard about it and the fire diminished slightly and all would be good and candy if not for a strange system-like message that popped into my view.
Due to your efforts you were awarded with achievement!
After displaying high courage and willpower to extinguish the unique ability of the forgotten race you were awarded with a system and bonus 5% chance to achieve impossible.
System? I thought my nerdy side trembled with excitement that was quickly cooled off by the rational side. I don¡¯t know if abilities granted by a system can or cannot be deleted by said system. I thought for a while and came up with a devilish plan. ¡°I don¡¯t want the bonus and the System instead I¡¯d like innate ability to manipulate mana and organisms and create them at will, additionally I want this ability to be unstrippable by any entity that exist on the world I¡¯m going to¡± This was risky because there was a no way in hell to be certain that I will go to a world or to afterlife or wherever. But by wording my request like so I may have guaranteed myself to go to a magic world. The window flickered a bit before showing me that I needed to confirm my choice. I didn¡¯t wait or inquire more because the whatever entity that oversees this system might be too impatient so I pressed the confirmation button for confirming and I blacked out immediately. After god knows how long, I woke up in an earth fissure and I panicked right after. Not because of something so silly as being stuck, No I couldn¡¯t feel my legs and arms, Hell I couldn¡¯t see as well. Then how did I know where I was? I don¡¯t fucking know it was just my innate feeling that I was there. This fucking sleazebag of a system screwed me over! After this and a solid hour of non stop cursing I calmed down enough to think rationally. Turns out it¡¯s not an innate feeling but a very trippy sixth sense or more like the first one because every sense that I previously had was merged together. Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings. I could feel the cold of the surrounding walls as well as their bland earthy smell and taste. When I focused really hard I saw a glimpse of bacteria moving here and there without care in the world, seeing and tasting bacteria are two different things and I won¡¯t ever do that again. What was even more strange was that I didn¡¯t really need to breathe air. This, and the fact that I could now feel the composition of air in this fissure. After goofing about for a while I noticed that this fissure wasn¡¯t on the surface meaning there wasn¡¯t any source of light. Yet I could see every detail. As if this whole place was lit up with a bunch of industrial lights. After taking in the environment I again tried to see myself and this was a mistake because from all those shocks and surprises today this was the most horrifying. What I found in the place where my body should be was a perfectly round crystal that wasn¡¯t connected to walls, it kinda was just there. My last thought today was that even if I ever get to see my parents again I might get mistaken for jewelry someone lost and then I blacked out. I opened my eyes and saw a good old fissure in exactly the same place I awoke last time, but turns out you can¡¯t have a normal day in this world because I found out that my sense also allowed me to interact with energy that filled the air and everything, even my crystal form. I thought about all that nerd stuff I did in my past life and decided to call that energy with the most cliche name ever ¡®mana¡¯. Since I¡¯m a crystal orb underground that figured out quite quickly how to interact with mana that means that I¡¯m a dungeon core? Upon this realization I started testing out all of that stuff the dungeons did in novels I read.
  1. Trying to absorb stuff did nothing (I suppose I have to have some sort of storage or special ability to turn materials into mana)
  2. Trying to summon menu/system did nothing (Well I confirmed that I don¡¯t want system there¡¯s no use by crying over spilt milk)
  3. Forming thin threads from mana and using them to cut stuff worked but was very slow
Seeing no other way about this I started cutting stone walls near me to see if I could use mana to manipulate inorganic objects¡ Fuck! How am I supposed to be an dungeon If all I can do is cut stone! Seems like the system was very literall I got innate ability to change life and create it but not to change and modify inorganic objects. Hmm what would happen If I made those bacteria feed on mana and become multicell organisms that would help me excavate this whole thing? What could go wrong? It¡¯s not like I wanted to be sent here, Heh, Apocalyptic Disease Here I Come! I looked at one of the bacteria and noticed that it sustained itself mostly by absorbing heat and eating stone and other bacteria. I selected the whole species and ordered it to move to a safe spot where they would evolve into cells of small insects. The bacteria that mostly ate stone and didn¡¯t really absorb heat got enlarged and made so that it would evolve into a plant that glows in the dark and mostly eats stone, warmth and mana. Next I tried spawning a whole bunch of each species, 1 trillion (in long scale) to be exact. Would it destroy the local ecosystem? Yes it would but by giving them all the ability to feed off mana they would survive. Fast forward a few cycles of micromanaging my farm and blacking out of mana I noticed that I could stay longer awake the more plants and insects were present. Meaning that flora and fauna made by me either increased my reserves of mana or increased my mana regen. That was huge, it was an incentive for making rich ecosystems but also it gave me an idea to give my insects some limited sentience so that they could create a city and give ideas how to enrich the environment. Today my first insect queen would be born along with a new plant that I worked on in my free time. The plant creates a mana that poisons everything around it, the idea was to make some stationary defences and baptize my insects with it so I could have mini mages to help fend off invaders. I will Rise from the Ashes! Okay so I made a few improvements here and there, first of all I made a calendar for cycles and cut out some tunnels in stone walls for my insectoid army. When I thought about making the insects I had an idea to mix arachnids and ants. So the resulting insect which I will call Zodarii from now on has eight chubby legs, long and sleek thorax, small ¡®butt¡¯ with glands that make acid resistant web and 3 eyes one in on the ¡®butt¡¯ two on sides of head. I also enlarged the whole thing to size of my crystal and begun making the plans for my great empire. First of all I evolved more types of bacteria into shrooms and plants that filter the air. My goal was to fill up this whole place with pure oxygen, people often make the wrong assumption that breathing pure oxygen could make migraine go away. Problem is too much of it will break the internal structure of your lungs and possibly kill you in a couple of breaths. Also I made some small napkin like animals that float around by producing hydrogen from pure mana and burning it creating water. Now that the basics of the ecosystem are in place I can start expanding. I began expansion by creating a specific caste among my napkins and Zodarii. Napkins will mix oxygen with hydrogen and use it as a makeshift heat gun. Zodarii on another hand with better heat resistance provided by mana and a separate mini lung that helps exchange heat, will start breaking the rock with their mandibles that were sharpened on other rocks and by my mana string. Right now I have 2 napkins and about 10 baby Zodarii miners, so I split them into two teams. Team nr 1 with 2 napkins and 6 miners will dig the tunnel that is as big as 3 by 3 my cores next to each other. Team 2 with the rest will haul the stone into the colony that will break it into fine powder that will be used to house more demanding plants. When the first road and bridges made out of hardened plants were erected 3 cycles have passed during that time my first mushroom has matured. And surprisingly it evolved on its own probably due to the steady rise of mana in the air. The newly evolved mushroom didn¡¯t look that much different than the original one except the new one was glowing and outputting helium on it¡¯s own. I copied it¡¯s internal structure and spread it out in the whole dungeon. Helium is harmless in small doses but in higher quantities will be harmful. Okay now anyone that will take breath in my dungeon will die by organ failure and mana intoxication, grimm but what can ya do.The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. The fissure I¡¯m in right now will be expanded into a sphere with many ledges filled with plant life. Around the walls to the ceiling will be placed roads made out of fungiwood that I will soon develop, that are wide enough for 3 current queens to walk side by side. I¡¯m hoping that during excavation I¡¯ll find iron and coal. If I do find it next to the current colony will be placed a tunnel to another spherical space that will be twice as big as the core room. The purpose of the room will be to cultivate plants that need high heat to live and to smelt ore. In the opposite end of the core room will be placed another tunnel that will connect to a farm that will cultivate plants and mushrooms for all my critters so that they won¡¯t need to use mana to live. While it isn¡¯t certain how deep I am It would be nice to be near the surface so I have a place to put all of the excess stone. Right, I should probably begin cutting stone into bricks so eventually I¡¯ll be able to make a fortress on top of my connection with the surface. Right now the biggest priority is to expand the core room and dig to the surface. It would take an ungodly amount of time for my Zodarii and Napkins to dig the space so I helped them out whenever I had time. My next thing on my timetable was to try to make a mana purification plant as well as liquidyfication mana plant. My theory is that when exposed to a big amount of pure mana the animal and plant will evolve into something better. So I began with pumping my mana into stone dust that I prepared beforehand, hoping it would turn into mana crystal dust. My hopes were crushed when all that it created was slightly blue dust. I didn¡¯t feel it was absorbing or giving away any mana so I tried to infuse it with Helium shroom in hopes I could later modify it into using that dust as a collector of mana. It worked somewhat because the mushroom collected the mana but it wasn¡¯t purifying it or making it into a liquid. Seeing my failure I increased my efforts into enforcing my will on this poor mushroom. It gave in after 5 cycles of constant mana pumping. Suprisngly it needed a lot of stone to sustain itself and I mean It crumbled and absorbed stone like it was nothing it was so fucking hungry I had to sacrifice the next 10 cycles to just spawn Zodarii. Right now the swarm of them was in thousands, quickly expending resources such as plants to make new bridges and everything I could think of to increase the productivity even slightly. Micromanaging the whole swarm was giving me a serious headache so I thought It¡¯s time to give them limited sentience. I got to work immediately. First, I expanded all of their carapaces and reinforced muscles and gave them some compact lungs so they could sustain their huge frame in nature. All of the excess space was filled with fat and brain matter. Lastly I dumped half of my reserves into the queen with intent for her to be sentient. I overdid it quite a lot. Firstly I blacked out. Secondly after waking up I found out that my swarm broke up into smaller ones and began cannibalizing each other because of lack of food. It seems like when I blacked out I forgot to give them order to feed on mana. Fuck I will Overcome this Pain The great one gave us a gift of intelligence and sapiency. Yet this miracle took a toll on our great master. I was the only one who could feast on mana but my children didn¡¯t use it as a way to survive, no they quickly evolved on their own and became queens such as myself. Sadly their newly found intelligence and different adaptations to slightly different situations became the sole reason for war. Their insatiable hunger and unsustainable expansion killed most of the sacred plants. When I felt the situation couldn¡¯t get worse the master awoke and a powerful flare of mana killed or cripled most of the greedy ants. Excerpt from first verse of Holy Book of Organic Dungeon. The situation was shitty at best. First of all, the plants were dying rapidly due to the absurd expansion of the Zodarii. The napkins thankfully didn¡¯t really contribute to the destruction, on the other hand those creatures evolved in such a way that they could now serve as floating platforms for small plantlife. I panicked when I saw a bunch of traitorous Zodarii climbing on my crystal and seemingly looking for a way to break it. My panic attack made me almost black out again. Apparently I subconsciously made a fail safe in each of my monsters so when I panicked I spent a giant amount of mana that basically killed the traitors and anything near that state. Well at least I have a lot of fertilizer for my plants. I wonder what kin.. I didn¡¯t get to finish that sentence because the earth around me shook violently and a big chunk of metal broke through the ceiling. The piece was as big as my crystal squared. Oh and what¡¯s this? Looks like this piece of metal was some kind of telecommunication satellite that impacted what looks like a bunch of school supplies. Finally I got a reference for what a centimeter looks like with my height and perspective. A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. My crystal core is about 5 cm in diameter, the cavern I was currently in was about 10 square meters and the biggest gap between ceiling and the floor was about 1 meter the shortest open air one was about 23 centimeters.[1] The edge of my cave forms a circle around my core, it¡¯s not a perfect circle mind you there is a bunch of small and big cracks here and there giving this place an old and overgrown man cave vibe. Done, with my measurements, I ordered my loyal servants to pick up the rocks I will give them in a minute, to carefully, using minimal force disassemble the satellite. God I hope the electronics inside are only slightly broken otherwise I won¡¯t be able to scale up rapidly the production base of Zodarii. The rocks I gave out looked more or less like screwdrivers and wrenches which were scaled down for insects to use. With making a lot of those I discovered that I can bend my mana thread basically allowing me to cut stone in a very specific shape faster. While the servants were disassembling I was spreading all my plants that evolved during my sleep and their unevolved counterparts through the dungeon. The stone-eater shroom burrowed almost up to the surface where It just sat and absorbed heat. Seeing that It was content I left it alone but before that I scanned It and made a bunch of small spores that will later become my drilling corp. Anyway seeding the whole dungeon took almost a whole day, which now I could tell by looking at the sun rays beaming through the hole the satellite made. Speaking off the satellite was based on a crystal like hard drive which was shattered and every other piece of electronics was fried. Great! But wait theoretically speaking I¡¯m a crystal dungeon core and this satellite has also a broken core that clearly worked as a processor or hard drive. So what would happen If I made my servants take it out and place small chunks near me? This was my dumbest or most brilliant idea I ever had, depending how you look at it. Well, I managed to full absorb the crystal core or what was left of it but what came next was so fucking hurtfull I almost immediately blacked out. During this short period of time I ordered all of my servants to hibernate and feed on mana. Fucking hell why I can¡¯t have a normall fucking d.. Am I really Separated?! I awoke with the biggest hangover I ever had and that¡¯s considering that no one managed to outdrink me in the competition and I¡¯ve never forgotten what happened last night. Maybe my body resistances changed around when I was transferred to this new shell? Thinking that enough was enough I got back to work. This time thankfully I didn¡¯t have to deal with a rebellion or anything crazy like that. Zodarii were lying inside the colonies deep in the torpor. Napkins were flying around doing nothing, that¡¯s probably because I¡¯ve never made them able to land properly. Well by poking them around with mana showed that they are in fact asleep which is great, since anything able to fly while sleeping would make a great airborne predator. When I tried to absorb rock or anything inorganic nothing happened meaning the satellite core test was a-
Welcome to the World of ¡°The Eternal Storm¡±!
Due to your questionable decision and poor life choices you were reintegrated into the system. Fear not. The system won¡¯t give you stats, abilities or skills for free, no, because of your ¡°outstanding move¡± even if the system wanted it wouldn¡¯t be able to. You will be able to see your character panel by simply saying/thinking actively ¡°System¡±. Occasionally you will be given Quests that won¡¯t hold any reward other than allowing you to advance easier, they aren¡¯t mandatory but they are time limited. Once more Welcome to the World of ¡°TES¡±
Well, I guess the poor life decision wasn¡¯t actually that poor. The test wasn''t an absolute failure but that didn¡¯t make me feel happy at all. Now that I''ve felt hardships of managing my dungeon on my own I really wish I just shut up at that time when I was just a flaming speck of dust in the nothingness. This story has been taken without authorization. I will Automize You! That was a lot of info to process, while I had nothing else to compare this amount of information. This amount is appreciated but I kinda expected to have those shitty systems that were depicted in some novels back home. Well this gives me an idea in one of those novels System is basically a magical computer program that runs the world. So in theory I could use commands to modify it ever so slightly. ¡°System based on calendar of my old world and assumption that a day is exactly 24 hours, create a widget in my perspective that will tell the time based on the position of the shadows in the breaches to the surface.¡±- A risky play to say the least, at best the command gets recognized at worst some god or other magic bullshit will yeet a lightning at me for interfering with their ¡°divine¡± plan.
You have unlocked a hidden feature!
Thanks to your ingenuity you managed to convince the system to use a pitiful amount of processing power to tell the time. Normally this would have gotten you an achievement, but due to your poor synchronization with the system it¡¯s not possible. The clock will be displayed in the top right corner. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
¡°System take out the Mana Cap and Mana Regen and place it under the clock, oh and both the clock and this shouldn¡¯t have transparent background, when in battle show only the current amount of mana as a blue bar in the top left corner.¡± -I intended to remove any distractions during battle, but still be able to see critical resources necessary to fight. ¡°You ha.. ¡°Dismiss the notifications and only reply when the action isn¡¯t possible or when the minor and major threat to my existence sets out to my location.¡± -I didn¡¯t want to get distracted from work by some program saying that I achieved something or done impossible. Now onto the processing unit, I don¡¯t know how to do it so I¡¯m going to try really hard to think about it and do some grade schooler level of code. I remembered when I was in fifth grade and made some absurd instructions for that one turtle in Kimp. One of those required the turtle to do some abstract moves while painting the ground. After 3 or 4 years I calculated that it would¡¯ve taken that turtle a year to turn the whole background black and return to the starting location. Surprisingly the processing unit responded to my thoughts and opened that very basic panel for children to play around getting to know code and all that jazz. Anyway I made some logic and simple if truth gates. The final product was a very simple tool that runs around checking every plant then every major animal like the Zodarii Queen and then dirt in search if the conditions are good and if anything needs a replacement. I feel like I pulled an all nighter even though I have full mana and able minded minion wha...t''..s...... I will Destroy the World! Part 1 Brrr, I¡¯m up! Looks like even tho I¡¯m not a biological entity I can still get mentally tired which is fair based on my ¡°upbringing¡±, but absurd considering that my core is my heart, brain and all of other useful organs in synthetic form. Well enough of grumbling about absurdity, time for work. Okay it seems like the subroutine works even while I blackout. The dungeon looks like I left it. Ah fuck, I forgot to add the order for it to plant stuff when there¡¯s enough space and the location won¡¯t obstruct envirovment and workers. Speaking off, Zodarii do pretty good job but I think I need to specialize them further. I picked up one of the Zodarii that didn¡¯t seem to work on anything important and began changing its structure. First off lungs I expanded the thorax and added one hole on each side between the legs. Holes were connected by small tubes to lungs with some organic barriers that only let through air. Secondly I shortened and thickened the legs with dense muscles. The joints were a little tricky so I used slightly modified joints of dogs, that I once read about in some research magazine. Since the joints wouldn¡¯t work without a skeleton I changed some things around. The legs had a layer of hardened skin and thin but very dense bones that were attached to the rest of thorax by ligaments and exoskeleton protrusions. Thirdly I expanded the whole ant 2 times of the previous size, but I made the exoskeleton thinner and more streamlined for the task of moving stuff around. Next thing on the menu was changing stages of life. So at first when a queen lays an egg, the other workers will chomp food and vomit nutrients on the egg which will absorb it and begin forming miniature version of new species. Then after the youngling is formed it will begin feeding off mana and parts of plants eventually switching completely to mana. This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. After complete switch and 10 days of growing up to adult size, the youngling will start working in the colony while developing it¡¯s brain to achieve part sapience. This process from laid egg to fully grown adult will take about a week but the resulting species would live naturally about 8 years.
Congratulations on making biologically viable species!
Thanks to proper lungs and the ability to feed of mana this species can become a real disaster to the rest of the world! Except not, thanks to your excessive feelings of specializing this species in moving stuff around it developed a calm and responsible personality that gets super excited whenever they get to move a lot of stuff in an impossibly small time frame. That¡¯s the main personality traits: calm, responsible, stubborn, passionate about moving stuff in imposible time frames. The species raw threat ranking*: 9/10 The species threat ranking**: 4/10 Due to your efforts of making a new species you are able to name them and that name will be recognized by the System! * raw threat is calculated by adding the overall defense and attack of a species along with the reproduction and survivability. ** Overall threat is calculated by counting all of the personality traits (PT) and stages of sapiency(*) and subtracting all of that from raw threat. (*) each PT has a value of 1 if it¡¯s good it¡¯s -1 if bad it¡¯s +1; Stages of sapiency are as follows: Bacteria>Sentient>Partly Sapient>Sapient>Sapient energy lifeform. The rating of each stage of sapiency are as follows: 0,1>0,6>1>2>3
4/10? Seriously? I hoped they would be more dangerous, but It¡¯s not a terrible problem to have. I''ll just make a professional soldier next. As for the name I think I¡¯ll use seang¨¢n l¨¢idir which literally means strong ant in irish. Now then let¡¯s spawn the queen and 2 adults, but first I must update my subroutine so it won¡¯t fucking delete them. Well, who¡¯d have guessed that using that subroutine would exhaust my mind by a lot? Certainly, not me! WEE warm embrace of unconsciousness take me! I will Destroy the World! Part 2 Now then let¡¯s review the overall changes of the dungeon while I was gone. I stretch my vision across the vibrant ecosystem and virtually endless dungeon helpers. The regular Zodarii and Seang¨¢n l¨¢idir are cooperating well. The Napkins didn¡¯t look like they care about new inhabitants. So let¡¯s make a mental list of all minor changes: All matters aside, this lift, even unfinished, could be considered a major engineering feat considering that Zodarii has virtually no engineering knowledge. But then I noticed that not all of my fauna was working, no, some of them were fighting off small rodents that were coming from the surface. These abominations were the size of a golden retriever but were mostly gray or white had almost no fur and looked like hairless rats. To combat those unholy creations I picked up one Napkin that was floating around and began changing its structure. First off I made several sacks that will hold hydrogen and will be connected to the main creature by thin tethers and delicate pipes. Now the Napkin had the balloons above itself that looked like those from the movie UP. Secondly I added small wings to the creature and organs that condensed water from the atmosphere. Next I focused really hard on the aspect of sustenance and growth. I arranged everything like so:
  1. First stage is old combat Napkin that landed near plants, that were engineered to house big amounts of hydrogen and basic elements the CN was made off, splits itself and anchors itself to the ground the parts that were split house rudimentary organs and biomatter of juvenile CN.
  2. Second stage is juveniles feeding off surrounding plants to grow into adolescent forms which are massive enough for further reproduction process.
  3. Third stage is adolescents specializing themselves by staying on certain altitudes (I programmed them to ¡°evolve¡± based on atmospheric pressure). If the CN stays close to the ground It becomes the plant that will feed other juveniles, Elders go through the same process. If the adolescent isn¡¯t close to the ground or the ceiling it helps with training and runs errands for front line like bringing food or water. The ones that stay close to the ceiling get larger and evolve to be able to detach one of the balloons along with special enzymes that will ignite upon impact, those detached balloons are weighted by water and will spread simple seeds of CN plants.
  4. Fourth stage is adults for first specialization that means the plant can spread its seeds or spawn random napkin by sacrificing most of its progress reverting back to adolescent form. Second spec gets bigger wings to move faster and some weak limbs to move more stuff. Third spec gets bigger and has some glands that are able to shoot out concentrated streams of hydrogen and enzymes that will explode violently, due to the same enzymes that were in the bombs.
  5. Final stage is the ultimate sacrifice for the rest of the species. Every spec becomes a plant and will grow larger to the point of being able to spawn one napkin without big loss of progress once a day.
Well then it looks like I made animal/plant that can and propably will snowball so fucking hard it will destroy the world! Hehe it¡¯s not my fault I was placed in this position in this world, If I could I would gladly go back¡. Hmm, no, I don¡¯t think I would, being totally honest. Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. Now let¡¯s speed up the construction sites! After I placed a dozen or so CN plants I picked up another ¡°bored¡± Zodarii. First thing I did I made it into a perfect copy of the porter then I expanded the carapace even further to house more brain matter and to house more specialized short limbs with 3 small fingers each. All in all I added 4 new limbs, a pair on the underside of the carapace and one of each side of the head. Then I made it¡¯s legs house a bunch of small hairs that will literally glue themselves to anything on command. Next I replaced whatever glands were inside into those that helped with coordination and with production of strong web, so the Engineer is able to build stuff even by itself. After feeling a sense of satisfaction I focused on making them very curious and cunning but before everything calm. For stages of growth I didn¡¯t make much changes except that now eggs with Engineers inside can learn from Old Engineers that help around the colony. I was slowly trying to limit the amount of mana consumption of my fauna so I could have more for myself ergo make more horrific monsters that could take over the world with ease. Huh, I noticed I¡¯m talking to myself¡.. Well, I guess I¡¯m alone and I always loved to speak to an imaginary crowd of people inside my mind. Welp what can ye do? OH right, you might ask what about the subroutine? Aren¡¯t ya worried about it deleting your new helpers? No, Because I made a great discovery, The subroutine can¡¯t do what I also cannot do and I can¡¯t kill any animal without it betraying me or me feeling it betrayed me. So the only thing I changed was to make a Identification protocol for the subroutine, everything that is made by myself or evolves inside my domain and before was friendly Is considered friendly. Yeah, yeah, I know It¡¯s easily exploitable but I really suck at programming. I will Preach you to Death Now let¡¯s speed up mining and figure out what ore is blocking me! As I neared the excavation sites I started feeling a small headache. That got me thinking that whatever is blocking me is either capable of thought or has magical/mental interference capabilities. By stuffing the nearest ¡°ore¡± with my mana the thing didn¡¯t seem fazed at any point also since my power allows me to manipulate ANY form of life. I had a confirmation that this thing isn¡¯t alive and either creates passive interference in mana/mental energy. Whoa, whoa hold the fucken horse, what do you mean by mental energy? Well, since my modern mind couldn¡¯t process that I''m an entirely different being I sorta made up the mental energy as equivalent of stamina for fleshy beings. Why? Simple I run some experiments and it turns out as I expand my mana reserves I can longer stay awake. Previously I blacked out after the simplest things but now I just made two species and I¡¯m okay. Next I picked some miners and ordered them to mine some chunks of normal stone. It took them about half an hour but when I allowed them to go back, they significantly slowed down. From that I could guess that the ore is blocking mana inside bodies of dungeon helpers and since I didn¡¯t make specialized miners I should limit their intake of any mana and make them have instinctive teamwork that won¡¯t be stopped by interference. I got about ten miners gathered near my core and I began working on them. Firstly, I nearly killed them by expelling most of the mana inside them, next thing I made their frames smaller but sturdier and muscles thicker. Secondly, I made some small canisters out of chitin and placed them throughout their bodies, then I connected those to the respiratory system that was modified to pressurize the gas into these canisters. Allowing them to work in quite hostile environments. Third, I added an empty layer between muscles and carapace that will later be filled with mana and temperature insulated liquid which will help with stopping the ore interference and allow miners to work near a high heat environment. Fourth, I made a change to their genome, they won¡¯t grow past a certain point but their structure will improve slightly throughout their entire life. The small changes to their stomach so that they could strengthen themselves with various metals aren¡¯t worth mentioning. Fifth, the cardiovascular system was reworked with a bigger heart and an additional one placed in the middle of the thorax. The veins were slightly bigger, their blood had a very high content of iron and other materials that were common in plants and did a pretty good job at transporting oxygen. The last change was in their stages of growth, mainly every stage was made longer to make sure none of them will have any mana inside or will ever need to consume one. Great, now onto their me..
Congratulations on specifying new Evolution Paths for species called Zodarii!
Due to user efforts in specializing the race called Zodarii new evolution paths were made, thanks to the species birth on the System integrated planet of TES they have an access to the System. Also as a thanks to expanding the lethal arsenal of the System your dungeon helpers under name of Zodarii and all subtypes gained Full sentience and all of the perks that are associated with it!
Congratulations on evolving your monsters into Sapient Dungeon Helpers!
Due to possessing Sapient Dungeon Helpers you unlocked the faith subtype of mana! Also every monster that is partly Sapient will now worship you as an equivalent to god. Because of their nature Sapient monsters will be able to pick a class and evolve into higher beings as part monsters and part Sapients. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
Congratulations on unlocking the faith subtype of mana!
Due to your upbringing and race you can choose what type of faith your monsters will generate! Please pick one of 3 options of focuses of Faith mana:
  1. War - everything that counts as a conflict is included here (Burglary, Duels, Massacres etc).
  2. Farming - everything that counts as cultivation is included here (Animal husbandry, Plant Cultivation, Evolution of Sentients etc).
  3. Crafting - everything that counts as crafting is included here (Forging, Alchemy, Construction, Golem Assembly etc).

After picking the focus. Please describe your ideal believer with provided Focuses:
  1. Calm The worshipper won¡¯t be easily startled by sudden appearances +1 Perception per Level
  2. Patient The worshipper won¡¯t tire as easily +1 Endurance and +1 Willpower per level
  3. Curious The worshipper will try harder at finding basic truth of the world +2 Intelligence and + 1 Wisdom per level
  4. Kind The worshipper will try to help everyone +1 to every stat upon taking class with holy attribute
  5. Honest The worshipper will be able to discern from aby lies + 1 to every stat upon taking class about discerning lies
  6. Hard Worker The worshipper won¡¯t tire as easily and will feel relieved when working hard + 3 to every physical stat per level
  7. Workaholic The worshipper won¡¯t lose stamina when working and will need less sleep + 2 to every physical stat except Endurance that will be put permamentaly at 1
  8. Unstable The worshipper will have better grasp at mana but won¡¯t be able to control it well + 5 to every mental stat upon taking mage like class but will lose 1 willpower per level
  9. Ignorant The worshipper will be able to stop one ability per year that he hasn¡¯t heard off (doesn¡¯t include abilities of gods and beings that are worshipped by it)
  10. Evil The worshipper won¡¯t lose sanity upon killing and doing acts of evil +1 to every stat per 10 kills of same species or 100 acts of stealing
  11. Liar The worshipper will be able to talk himself out of anything +1 to Charisma per level
  12. Lazy The worshipper will get thirsty and hungry more slowly +1 Endurance and Vitality per level
The absolute average of this world¡¯s Human in stats:
Vitality Strength Endurance Perception Agility Dexterity Intelligence Wisdom Willpower 5 5 5 4 4 4 6 4 5
Hmm, Okay let¡¯s cheese this! I pick 1 when my worshippers are fighting against everything other than themselves, I pick 2 when the war has ended or when my worshippers are starving, I pick 3 when my worshipper has a suitable class for it and wants to craft! My Ideal worshipper will be Calm, Patient, Curious and will be a Hard Worker and a Workaholic in times of peace or when not directly fighting. When fighting directly against everything other than my other worshippers, it will be Calm, Patient, Unstable, Evil, Hard worker, Lazy and Workaholic!
Congratulations on Cheesing your way into actually good religion!
Due to user defiance of system at the very start and not finished integration You were able to pick traits that will make your religion one of few that are very good at any task due to this All of other religions will be hostile to you and your worshippers will be able to preach only to other monsters from dungeons.
Based on traits of your ideal worshipper the System made a universal Law for your worshippers! You can¡¯t kill others that worship the same being as you! You will work day and night for the betterment of the society that worships the same being as yourself! You will kill anyone that threatens society or being you all worship!
Due to your contributions to the System in finding bugs you will be awarded with the religion you made and 10% to every stat for any of your worshippers that possess the Archbishop like class!
Due to making your religion and awakening Faith subtype of mana please say names positions for every level of church of your religion and name for it!
I will Preach you to death! Part 2 Okay then no need to convolute life too much so: To be honest I could totally do a cheap job like priest bishop pope but this doesn¡¯t sit well with me. Like I already made some scary and biologically viable monsters that could overrun the world I might as well. Oh and System? Could you change the titles/jobs based on the current state? Like in peace the names will be like so but in times of war they will change and give bonuses to fighting?
Congratulations on Establishing your Faith!
Due to eight different positions in unusual order, the System decided to make bonuses from this Faith less worth it in comparison to other religions. But If an individual manages to climb to the last position through his own efforts it will get an [Avatar Of Organic Dungeon] title which will grant it lesser abilities of Organic Dungeon and 20% of maximum mana Organic Dungeon can store. Pick at least 1 individual that will get an occupation of Oracle, you can pick at most eight of them. Each will get minor boosts to fighting during wars or invasions and minor boosts to reproducing and minor aura of increased stamina regen. If an individual gets recognized by the system as for example Acolyte of this faith the individual will get 0.001% of mana the Organic Dungeon can store and will have better understanding of plans the Organic Dungeon have.
I gathered each of the oldest species I have which turns out to be queens or already turned CN plants. There were six of them so I granted the titles based on seniority with the exception of CN plant that got the saint position. Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. Next thing I did was to make an unofficial rule that every individual in positions from level five and up will have to retire and work as advisor or Bishop every 10 years. I also Granted myself indisputable law that I can change any rule within the church. The Idea was to stop the possible corruption among the ranks. Done with the system I let the time pass. Thankfully the current onslaught of surface dwellers counted as ¡°Invasion¡± so members of the church excelled at combat. Also I managed to break through the mental and mana interference ore. It was a curse in disguise though. Not a meter into the smooth soil the ceiling broke letting a big amount of water in. It wasn¡¯ that big of a problem thanks to Zodarii mages. Wait, I didn¡¯t tell ya about it? Well Here goes wonderful retrospection!
Day before the spill...
I was still upset at not being able to manipulate rock around me so I made a decision to make a mage caste. I grabbed a regular Zodarii and shrunk it a little. The next thing I did was to make it¡¯s carapace absorb ambient mana and grow small mana crystals. Secondly, I made the armour detachable and semi separate entity that remembers any spells casted by the mage and upon death the armour will then transfer all of the spells to the new mage so it could experiment and enrich the database of spells indirectly aiding future mages without teaching them. Thirdly, I made it so the mage can enlarge itself with the use of mana or food to properly fit the carapace. Also I made bodies of the mages passively absorb mana and use it to form crystal cores inside of them which should work as a small storage for magic power. Fourth, I made a change to their society so the old mages near death or unable to fight will detach their armour and will begin manipulating mana and feeding it to the eggs allowing infant mages to form better cores. Fifth, Their society will make them cherish their ancestors and treat any armour left by the old as treasures. I did that so the mages won¡¯t devolve into wuxia/xianxia characters that treat everything like trash being trash themselves. God, I hated those tropes when I was still alive grrr.. And lastly I made old eggs work just like the armour so when the mages go into battle where they will possibly die they can copy all of their knowledge into an egg. Also I made it that the eggs when not used will move slowly on their own and eat plants to grow and house more infant mages. Oh I forgot to tell you my wonderful audience that is probably an effect of my insanity! Because of System recognizing miners as a sapient race I evolved all of my species to sapient level in hopes of receiving a reward from daddy System. I didn¡¯t get anythin tho, saddest face. Oh, also because of mages I managed to pushbak the invaders. I even made a small ceremony announcing to the almost dead invader that fell through the opening, that I declare war of total annihilation on them to y¡¯know keep the buff form System goin! I shall Review my Work! I might have skipped the part that now I operate in different timescales. Like now a week feels like a day. Why? There is so much stuff to do at any time. Now you might ask my imaginary audience, didn¡¯t you evolve your helpers to deal with most stuff? Well, yes, but as they keep climbing the civilization ladder and the faith grows their needs also grow. I goofed honestly thinking they would do anythin for me. In reality I needed to develop several plants and animals for domestication purposes and even then I could make one request each wave. What is a wave? Well, imagine mana being an ocean that encompases an entire universe and is mostly static, by using spells and manipulating it you spend small amounts of it and create undercurrents in this body of magical energy. Now as the amount of people able to cast spells increases the depression of mana in that place/planet becomes pretty big, but don¡¯t fear the diffusion is here and natural processes like stars forming and dying that make mana. So the ocean of magical energy won¡¯t dry up but the depression stacks, if a planet is big enough and the amount of mages hits critical mass the diffusion can¡¯t keep up with the demand so when the lack of mana hits the star (a natural mana generator) the star quickly makes a rough beam of mana aimed at the area that is empty. Here is the problem: each wave occurs roughly after 3 months and during that time every animal, even dungeon helpers, get their libido increased and their reproduction abilities are greatly enhanced. This is a serious problem, because now I have about half a million of dungeon helpers and normally each queen lays as many eggs as there is helpers from their species plus one so if there is a hundred Zodarii miners the queen will lay hundred and one eggs, they do that each month but when the wave hits the queen gets affected and would lay in this example at least 500 eggs. And this is only ONE queen, each species has at least 5 of them now. Enough of my rambling, but still this sucks so much! The time when I made a new species and a general overview of my territory was 3 waves ago. During that time I mainly micromanaged my helpers and helped with making a government system so they could function even without my direct commands. Here¡¯s the simplified version of government:Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. 3 Lords that work on different subjects hold the titles: Lord of Farming, Lord of War, Lord of Domestic Affairs. Below them is 12 a council that manages the budget and oversees the progress in reverse engineering my world and anything the Lords do. The council is made up of the best and talented individuals that come from any species, there isn¡¯t any limit on how many of each species can be in the council. Aside from outstanding individuals one seat in council is occupied by the current highest ranking person from my religion. Below the council is the Senate that houses the oldest members of each species and one most experienced individual and up to 4 representatives of the people. The Senate collects taxes and passes laws, but the council or the Lords can at any time veto those laws into oblivion with exception of the laws that were recognized by me or survived at least 10 waves. Changing these requires at least one third of the population to say so. Lords are picked from the most outstanding individuals in any of 3 fields. This government functions only because of my existence. I intended to keep the council and the amount of Lords small so the real decisions will be made quickly without useless shouting. This is reserved to the senate that has milestones that could upgrade their capacity. Those milestones are basically (Reach one million of dungeon helpers to increase the capacity for members by 10 and extra 5 for people representatives). The currency we use are square small cubic coins that are made out of stone and mental interference ore. Why? Because, apparently it works like a line of cocaine. It''s addicting to my helpers but they quickly develop immunity so they have a real need to earn those coins. We didn¡¯t add any value to those. They are just small cubes of rock with ore that will drug you up! It¡¯s quite good imo since the value of the money won¡¯t fluctuate too much as the super rich won¡¯t be able to achieve super high that easily since the ore has a radius in which it works. Now onto the expansion review:
  1. We managed to create an outpost on the surface and began carpet bombing any life to oblivion to make space for dungeon life.
  2. The outpost and every ¡°House¡± (big structure that houses Zodarii races) are connected by a web of roads made out of polished stone with runic carvings made by mages that make the travel faster.
  3. My territory now engulfs the surface and 3 other caverns that were dug up during the second wave, they mainly house the Government, Faith and Stockpiles.
  4. My territory doesn¡¯t expand as quickly on the surface as underground.
  5. The research is comparable to the steam age of my old world. Mainly because the steam engine is quite easy to build (at least the ancient version is) and I ordered some toy like small ones that spin above campfires just to prove that this is possible and allow engineers to have an easier time making new machines.
  6. My helpers don''t seem to be affected by air pollution, nonetheless I ordered everyone to either make a portable air filter for each citizen or for everyone to wear a mask over their air holes.
  7. My flora adapted to bad air pollution and now gives me less mana. So in response I spent my demand to make big habitats for plants with controlled air quality, in the next 5 waves.
I shall Ruin the Seas and Coasts! Sometimes I really feel like an idiot. I¡¯m in a world with magic yet I¡¯m constraining myself to a flawed view of the world where everything is governed by more or less logical rules. What am I talking about? Well you see I hit the boundaries of my expansion underground at least on the level where my core is, so we began expanding downwards and that¡¯s when I found it, a lifeform that violates conservation of energy rule. Earth Elemental, was it peaceful? No, the moment we found it it began attacking so we put it down by ritual class hydrogen fireball. What is ritual class magic? It refers to one of many ways of casting magic. This one takes great deal of control and cooperation but the resulting spell is many times better than if casted by using staff or with bare hands. Mage caste was and is constantly experimenting with very spread out surface level knowledge that I had about my old world. Hence the ¡°hydrogen fireball¡± it was more mana efficient than regular one since all it did was keep up with separating hydrogen and oxygen from steam and igniting it. We theorized that this spell with an initial cup of water and handful of mana could be kept active for centuries. The spell could last that long only because of the efficiency and because it was a somewhat natural reaction hence it was generating mana on it¡¯s own but not enough to sustain the flame for more than about 200 years. Back to the point, how was the elemental ignoring the conservation of energy? It was generating mana from static earth at least it seemed like it and when outer shell was destroyed it begun expending mana to create earth. Here¡¯s the problem: the mana generated from the rock was less than the amount the elemental was moving to create it. The magic caste could also make rock but they used less mana for it. Energy can be converted into material, but the cost should be static like one joule of power for 1 nanogram of iron and by lowering the power you should have lower output. But, no, fuck logic let¡¯s optimize mana and make absurd artifacts that will allow someone to make matter out of nothing. What am I talking about!? You see, the older mage optimized spells on it¡¯s own after it passed down it¡¯s shell to the younger generation. The younger generation could spend ability point from the System to buy [Mana efficiency] skill. Which cut down the required energy to cast spell that before manual optimization cost 100 mana after it was 50 and thanks to the skill which was level 1/10 it now was 48. Oh and also during various tests we made a conclusion that you need to spend at least 50 mana to make a block of rock. Thanks to the skill you used less mana to make the same amount, violating the conservation of energy! You may brush it off as magic is bullshit my dear audience that may not exist. But this is huge because it allows creation of infinite mana generators and infinite matter generators. First would for example create natural phenomenon to make mana normally it would be offset by cost of this spell, but here¡¯s the kicker by making the [Mana efficiency] part of that process or even more ridiculous skill you start making like 10 mana from a reaction that costs 9 or less. Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. Yes infinite energy, it would probably create some mana but at a slow rate but still for a dungeon core such as myself this is huge! Second would incorporate the first but it would be using the same ridiculous ability twice to make for example generic dirt which btw is composed of other elements such as silica, iron, carbon, different oxides and gold but in very very low quantities like you would need to filter out a ton or two of dirt to get a 0,1 kg of gold. Thankfully I¡¯m on an island so excess or useless material could be used to enlarge it.
I suddenly got a very great idea and ordered half of my military forces to go to the water and catch me some fish. While not letting the natives trespass on my land. It took almost a full day which I spent by pumping my mana into mage caste so that they won¡¯t need to go back to regain their mana. In my spare time I made a rule for every new mage to always pick an ability/skill that allows them to spend less mana for the same/better result. As the returning forces drop the almost dead fish in my territory I begin changing it drastically. Firstly, I made it¡¯s height about 1,3 m and made it capable of reproducing by itself and laying eggs in shallow water. Of course the fish would die immediately because of the lack of lungs to breath on land which I made inside the spare space inside it¡¯s chest. Secondly, I enlarged every internal organ and added 6 limbs. From the up to down it now had two massive arms covered in scales and small fins here and there, hands had 2 fingers and 2 opposable thumbs. Next was a second pair of hands that were very thin and were designed to either help move in the water or hold small and light things like the eggs. The legs were shaped to allow the creature to move faster than you might expect. The feet were human-ish with 4 slightly longer but very muscular toes with membrane between them. Thirdly, I changed the neck and head so the creature could look around like an owl. The eyes were changed to resemble those of lizards with horizontal eyelids but they were almost transparent and enhanced with the ability to see mana in the air. Then I made the mouth have shark-like teeth in front with herbivore teeth on the sides like humans. Also the entire stomach and all the pipes that lead to it and from it were changed so that the creature could be an omnivore both on land and in water. Fourth, I made similar to mage caste, a symbiotic animal that lives with the fish and records the spells. I shaped it to look like a fin on the back along the spine. I also made it possible for the fish to grow its outer shell from elemental mana that I decided to be generally water. So the fully matured and ready for war fish might look like a crystal statue of a fish person. I made these shells detachable but after being detached the crystals won¡¯t bond together with flesh again. Essentially forcing these fish people to use them in their tools. Fifth, I made them aggressive and able to work well even in huge groups of their or subdued species. As for their initial culture I made them worship me as some sort of pagan God and made them completely ignore anything that doesn¡¯t threaten them or the reward isn¡¯t worth the hassle like an undead bear that has very little or no edible meat but still is able to fight long enough to exhaust any living creature. Ignore doesn¡¯t mean forget about it, in this context it means as long as it doesn¡¯t attack or tries to fuck up some of the plans it gets to live. Then I saved the blueprint for the new species and spawned so much that I blacked out near the body of water. For the record The creation took half of my mana so in the end I spawned 10¡.. I shall Move and Ruin the Underground! Part 1 According to the clock widget exactly a month has passed since my blackout and my crystal actually cracked in a few places. I didn¡¯t feel strange or anything. All it did was limit the amount of mana I can spend at once. About a half of the Island was reclaimed by us and was thick with plant life. That¡¯s when I ordered my long forgotten mushroom to go underground and drill as deep as it could and make every so often a spherical room. These rooms would act as valves for mana and would be a place where mages would train. I ordered the tunnel to be reinforced and covered in runes that move mana downwards. I was planning to move my core into a giant pool of semi-liquid mana. Upon completion I realized that my greed for more mana made me create an absurd trap. Now my wonderful audience! Time for a lesson on mana! Every living being can use mana and has at least some mana inside their bodies. The creatures that aren¡¯t designed to be mages upon consumption of big amounts of mana begin to heat up and start screaming in agony because their body is rearranging everything so it could withstand big amounts of mana moving through. Using simple words, the body of a knight after oversaturation in mana will start mutating to become the body of a hybrid or mage. Hybrid is a rare body type that is both strong physically and magically so it can be used as both motor and the heavy duty wire. That¡¯s nice and all but when the body is rearranging everything it passively absorbs mana, when the mana that caused the change isn¡¯t depleted. Body heats up even more and rearranges even more. Here''s the problem: the runes in my new home will constantly liquify mana into it and by doing so the mana won¡¯t go away. Ergo, the greedy adventurer or animal will either die by steam explosion (as the water inside the cells heats up too much) or by frying itself. I accidentally made a well of greed¡
Congratulations on creating your first Artifact!
Due to the massive amount of mana dwelling inside this artificial pit and intricate and primal runes on the walls of it the System decided to turn this into ¡°Well of the Worthy¡±. Any being that will be able to stop their greed will be rewarded with part of the Organic Dungeons powers. User won¡¯t be affected by this as the power will come from the system itself.
As the creator of the Artifact please choose the reward and decoration of the Well of the Worthy: Reward:
  1. Crystal armor, Records spells and is able to help the caster with more complex spells. (Grows overtime, re-attachable, can only be destroyed by a dungeon or by the rewardee.)
  2. Combat napkin familiar, Your enemies shall die in Inexhaustible Inferno! (Grows overtime, can only be destroyed by dungeon or by the rewardee.)
  3. Limited control over structure of body, This reward will allow a person to change their genome and become a new race! (Can¡¯t be destroyed or stolen, every change requires blood and body parts from species the wanted change is present in natural form. Example dragon breath will require blood of a dragon and it¡¯s intestines.)

You can only select up to 3 Decorations:
  1. Glowing Runes
  2. Altar to God (Upon selection choose the name of the God)
  3. Artwork on the well dedicated to selected God
  4. Hidden entrance to the Well of the Worthy
  5. Change the building materials of the well to selected material
  6. Guardian of the Well of the Worthy (upon selection you will be able to change him as you wish)
  7. Secured room on the bottom of the Well of the Worthy for the dungeon core.

Due to your nature as a Dungeon user, you were granted access to boss. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.
Error. The user isn¡¯t integrated fully¡¡ Error¡. Recalibrating¡ The System has chosen for you the Guardian decoration, upon completion the guardian will be buffed by the System and will become the boss that guards Well of the Worthy. Due to recalibration, you can still choose 3 decorations from the previous list
I choose the third reward as for decorations I choose number 2,3,5. Now you might be asking. Josh, why did you pick these weak looking options? Since I¡¯m not bound to the system and absolutely adore one of the old gods from that card game StoneHart, also I believe that by choosing them my guardian will be able to inflict corruption of old gods to the challenger. For the altar and the artwork I pick my favorite! I bleed for Y¡¯thm. I¡¯d like the altar and artwork to have minor aspects of C¡¯shaj. The material of the top part should be polished stone with silver runes on the sides speaking about the history of the Old Gods I picked. And a gold path directly to the Well of the Worthy. Halfway to the bottom the walls of the well from polished stone should give way to mercury that freely interacts with the mana but the generall mass of it is kept in place of the walls. The guardian Should be a humanoid clothed in dark robe that hides the corruption of the Old-ones and crystal armor that was described as the first reward. It should be intelligent enough to hold long discussions about this place, the challenge and the possible repercussions. The guardian should be able to sacrifice all of it¡¯s armour, health and sanity to perform either one instant death attack that nothing will be able to resurrect from, become extremely fast enemy with lethal poison on its entirety or kill itself and fill the Organic Dungeon with poison that will kill everything that isn¡¯t a part of Dungeon or was made by it. Each scenario should be triggered respectively by: directly insulting Old-ones and mocking the guardian, attacking the guardian before it has a chance to speak and by trying to trap him or skip him entirely by invisibility or other means. Before a normal fight begins the challenger/s must listen to the guardian and answer his questions. Failure to do so but not triggering the scenario explained before will make the entirety of Organic Dungeon either weaken the challenger/s or buff the guardian or both depending on the severity of the failure. My answer probably was too specific to System liking because it fell silent for an hour during which I was moved by the generic Zodarii and dunked into the bottom of the Well.
Congratulations on making your first Challenge!
Due to users novel limitations and enhancements your boss shall be dubbed the ¡°Forgotten Prophet of Fear and Rage¡±. It is so because of the dedication to specified gods. The artwork will move and occasionally catch the eye of the challenger inflicting him with either blind rage or fearful coward. The Well of the Worthy was transformed into a separate hall inside the Dungeon. The generall splendor of the hall will make the weak willed fearful. The Guardian will have the rest area where he will respawn upon death and will have a history behind him that will explain his motivations and his current capabilities along with the details of the challenge. Because the challenge favours kind, strong minded and patient, challengers the challenge shall be called ¡°Path of the King¡±. Because of the name and unique moveset and condition of the boss. This challenge along with the location of the Organic Dungeon shall be advertised to every sapient and sentient creature in this world! Due to the advertisement user will receive a 100% boost toward mana capacity and generation to the moment the first invader that received the advert will enter your territory.
All I could say at the moment was ¡°Oh fuck¡±. All of my flora and fauna turned into miniature suns, probably because they started outputting a 100% more mana than they should and because I was perceiving mana directly the elemental mana had different colors, earth was brown, fire red, air green and the water was blue. The creatures were little stars with multitudes of different colors spread out on their bodies. The plant¡¯s were mostly a mixture of 4 elements with white near the organs I made turning them into unique plants. I shall Weaponize the Overworld first! Part 2 While I was adapting to my new vision the system started listing most of my recent exploits eventually combining them into one notification.
The System has decided to reward users efforts in expanding the available list of species to other worlds/dungeons!

  17. Chaos (user is able to inflict mental states like insanity, spell effects and cost are determined by luck stat of the user)
  18. Demonic (user is able to grant wishes in exchange for servitude or souls. This affinity gradually inflicts insanity)
  19. Creation (user is able to create anything with just a thought, better understanding of the object and parts of intended creation lessen the cost of mana)
Jesus fuckin christ that¡¯s a lot! Hehe, time to break the game! I chose option 9, major will be ¡°Gravity¡± and the minor will be ¡°Physics¡±. As I laugh merrily about the endless possibilities of actively using laws of physics and gravity to break them. Essentially the Physics part should work as a buff to mana efficiency and every affinity unlock while gravity gives strong movement, attack and defensive abilities! Also out of curiosity I remade the basic non specialized Zodarii species due to my insight in making various similar species I made their muscle structure 31,45% stronger and overall changes increased efficiency in menial chores by 6% and in construction by 20%. Surprisingly this triggered the new boon I got from the System, but this alone wasn¡¯t that big. The biggest surprise was the fact that the boon activated in all of the specialized Zodarii. It is logical that if the main species has it then the subs should also have it. I¡¯m not complaining though, because remaking all of them for better efficiency go back on the list of things I have to do. Also the armor of mages was recording spells and could help with casting, remember that? Well, the mages can still cast normall spells as before using the armour assistance but with lesser mana cost thanks to my knowledge ingrained in them. As for the surface, I ordered the construction of a fort with a dock for boats and dungeon helpers that will be able to fly higher than napkins. The plan of the foundation is to take rocks from underground, turn them into long bricks with magic and stack them on top of themselves while reinforcing them with mana and gradually merging all of them to create primitive magical concrete. Thanks to my innate sense of using gravity my mages were able to greatly increase the density of the foundation making it pretty much invulnerable to explosive damage and most of piercing attacks. Blunt force still could damage it but the loss of material and the cracks are easily repaired thanks to the absurd density and earth magic. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. The foundation was laid out in the shape of a hexagon with 2 gates facing the Island one facing the water where in the future docks will be. Dead in the center of the fort is the lift and main access point to the rest of the dungeon. The surface area protected by the fort is equal to a large village that houses about 300 people. It¡¯ll take up half of the island when completed and even then it would need to be expanded because the entrance is close to the water. Thinking about defending my progress, because only a fool would jump to the bottom of my Well of the Worty, I picked up various different mushrooms both made in the dungeon and the natural ones and I smashed them together. With somewhat stable DNA of over 20 different species made into one I begin my work. First, I increase the atmosphere filtration ability along with water filtration ability, to make the mushroom able to live off salt water and the air alone. Next I fill every possible cell that will be exposed to sunlight with chlorophyll to make them able to photosynthesize. Second, I gave the new creation to think and be able to use magic. By doing so it would serve as an excellent wall/gate against laundbound invaders. Next I gave it the ability to siphon mana from incoming spells and use nearby plant life to either heal or strengthen itself. I designed it to work like a barter system where the wall siphons mana from attacking army and uses it to trade for nutrients to heal or for other plants to move their roots on top of the wall plant giving another layer to destroy for the army below. I made the conditions of growth of such a strong plant troublesome in any circumstance other than mine that is near perfect control over nature and creation mana. So even if someone manages to get the seeds they won¡¯t grow and assuming that everyone thinks that dungeons aren¡¯t intelligent or something they won¡¯t ever discover the method to grow any of my plant life and make familliars out of my dungeon helpers. The next thing to make was a turret. I had 3 options here: plant, mana formation or dungeon helper stuck in one place. Each has their own problems because skills like ¡°Destroyer of nature¡± or similar bs could exist. The mana formation could be destroyed by a stray arrow or it could turn off when enemy tampers with it or when the energy runs out. The dungeon helper could survive the arrow but developing skills for protecting walls are going to take ages plus I lose potentially high level combatant when the main entrance is breached because it¡¯s stuck to the walls. While complaining about hard choices I absentmindedly remade all of my helpers, newest models didn¡¯t see much or any improvement but older ones got changed a lot. The changes didn¡¯t exclude plants, I made a risky decision and made all of them capable of simple thoughts and made them compatible with each other, meaning their roots could merge with each other allowing a hive mind to form. The risk represents the possibility of headache when the hivemind starts expanding out of the dungeon eventually encompassing the whole world. Speaking about risk, I just got invaded¡. My BUFF NOOO!!!! ALL UNITS STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND KILL THEM BEFORE THEY ENTER MY TERRITORY THIS IS AN ORDER! FAVOUR WHATEVER!!! DO IT!!
(Reconnaissance unit high in the air above location from System Ad) -¡±Yep, it looks like a dungeon, alright. Arlen, what''s the mana density of it?¡± Leader asked their mage. -¡±Haven¡¯t seen anythin like it in a while. Either over level 40 or someone fed it a lot of mana and it didn¡¯t digest it yet.¡± Said the mage looking interested. This reaction made other party members worry since this unstable maniac only feigns interest when he and everyone around him are in real danger. -¡±We were ordered by the Formation Master to check this place through and only come back with challenge done or severely injured by the dungeon. Haa, time to move our legs and enter cramped, messy, smelling fucking cave!¡± Rogue stammered in frustration over their unreasonable assignment and the common sense of how dungeons look. -¡±I¡¯m doin this so I can legally keep this amazing equipment! Who cares about the dungeon, it will be like a fly-by over fish in the sea!¡± Replied always cheerful warrior, while looking at his and others clothes. The avian people generally don¡¯t wear any, because they are signs of wealth, nobility or social standing. The clothes they were given composed of several bracelets for their hands and legs. Leather helmets with transparent protective substance over the eyes that allowed them to see at night. And thin leather utility belts carrying ammo and water. Their weapons consisted of enchanted feathers for the pigeon mage that act as a wand, sharpened and short feathers for the toucan rogue, black and constantly excreting puss for their raven leader who was able to raise small undead and long and strong feathers of their goose warrior. Since they were going to a cave and their feathers tend to grow back with enchants that were previously placed they didn¡¯t need swords or anything. They were standing tall, average height of birdfolk is one head above dwarfs that are half as tall as humans, on the beach replenishing mana from their journey here. Their bodies even when looking like their unevolved cousins aren¡¯t capable of flight but are adept at using fire magic that changes the flow of the winds allowing them to fly. I shall Massacre those Fools! part 3 - ¡°I hate this, damp backwater island in the middle of the ocean no one sails through!¡± Rogue spat angrily. - ¡°Give up Theo, go map it out while we recharge mana and make a camp.¡± Leader sighed, fed up with Theo¡¯s complaining. - ¡°Ughh, fine. But after I''m done I¡¯ll leave the rest to you.¡± Theo said before running off to the center of the island. Not knowing that he was already dead before even reaching the tree line. -¡±AGH! What the!¡± - Wheezed Theo as unknown force began crushing and reintegrating his body with the soil beneath him. While this was happening the space between him and the rest of the party began warping and twisting making the illusion of him running to the forest. After rogue was nothing more than a pile of meat integrated with the earth forming asphalt or concrete like substance, the space was unfolded. -¡±Wait, I think I heard Theo scream but it was cut off fast.¡± Warrior said dropping his tent. He took a combat stance and used a corrupted tattoo that increased his resistances. These tattoos are signs of nobility and very experienced adventurers, but also they are a source of doom for the greedy. Because these contain shards of dead dungeons. Have more than 3 shards or switch too often or take too high tier for your body and mind, congratulations you became a dungeon! -¡±Are y.. Aspen mana interference and party location!¡± Leader quickly ordered the mage while using his own tattoo to spread dark mist that damaged or at least weaken enemies in the area. -¡±Fuck off Brent! I know my stuff. Huh?! Theo is apparently right in front of us, there!¡± Aspen pointed at a strange smooth surface that had the colours of Theo¡¯s back feathers. He tried using Party recall, a mage class exclusive skill that was a part of high tier shard. When the magic dissipated he stood frozen at the horrific amalgamation of earth, equipment and flesh pressed down into a thin disc. -¡±Aspen! Can you revive him?¡± Asked the warrior not seeing the amalgamat. -¡±Fuck! No, Christy Theo is gone. Even the king wouldn¡¯t be able to revive him.¡± Aspen stammered while pointing at the disc. -¡±Okay leave Theo remains here. Go in a formation and prepare for combat! The killer and his friends are here!¡± Brent Shouted while crushing his soulstones that contained his precious summons. The ungodly horrors soon emerged from the mist, wearing what looked like obsidian armour. The flying abomination soon dropped some ovoid objects and smaller ones started spewing fire. The ground units began a rhythmic mandible clacking and absurd force began crushing them. Even the space around them started tearing apart and forming void swords and spears. ¡°Agghh! A-Asp rrr-ecall us!¡± Brent shouted gasping for air, trying to fight against crushing force from above.Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. Aspen didn¡¯t say anything, thanks to mana interference he could stand albeit barely. He activated recall on himself and the leader, thanks to the unstable space around them he could only teleport one other person with him. -¡±This isn¡¯t the end!¡± He said thinking that recall will take him to safety before the abomination will get to him. He was somewhat successful because he left behind his legs, or more like they were torn off by a sudden scream of mana that destabilized his spell.
Listening to the report of the soldiers I think I overreacted. At least I got their equipment and a prisoner. While the mage and misty boy left I ordered the mages to contain the prisoner. I will get all the info I can hehe. Okay post battle report:
  1. CNs were decent as bombers and excellent as crowd control limiting the movement of the invaders.
  2. Regular napkins from the mines were atrocious at dealing damage and were okay at harassing enemies.
  3. Miner Zodarii and mage caste behaved admirably, the former creating a cordon around the latter and blocking physical abuse. While the latter crushed the attackers and blocked the mist.
In summary, If these adventurers were one of the nation¡¯s finest I don¡¯t have to worry about anything. But this doesn¡¯t mean I¡¯ll stop developing my defences. The fort was coming along nicely, while I began designing my turret species. Firstly I picked up one of mage cast armours and copied it to use as a base for the rest of the changes. Then I changed its shape into a crystal cube that used gravity to float but was connected with roots below using thin atom thin lines. Secondly I changed the roots below into a brain and set of organs that helped with calculating the necessary velocity, angle and type of a spell to kill an invader. Next to the brain I made tubes pointing in every direction around the turret that can squeeze itselfs and made several pores inside that made normal, natural and very physical acid. To stop anytone that could shrug off magic. Thirdly, I made the organs below extend tendrils to the nearest plant hivemind which will serve as a server for all of the turrets and other defense structures. Then I made sure that every plant could form or at least begin construction of a hive mind that was absolutely loyal to me. The resulting turret couldn¡¯t reproduce but it didn¡¯t need to since I¡¯ll be placing them down on my own and wouldn¡¯t want to have areas where there¡¯s too much or too little. Then I spawned them in their desired location and changed the colours of their crystals and their average height to make some of the cubes hide in the leaves of tall trees or in stalks of flowers near the soil. While that was happening I made a tournament for my dungeon helpers to create the best mechanical turret to place on top of the walls that dealt physical damage and could be operated by at most 2 dungeon helpers. This wasn¡¯t because I was lazy or unimaginative but because I want my sapients to at least somewhat contribute to the defence instead of sacrificing themselves. While I could just spawn them continuously I would lose my free time to design my base and improve my control over mana. With this I also Imprinted onto them the ideology of prized individuals. This form of thinking was that every individual is good at something and losing him/her would be disastrous and inefficient since making a new one takes time. And no matter how quickly individuals will grow there will always be a certain time where they can¡¯t or can but slowly work, dragging down the efficiency of everyone around them. I hope that by doing so my helpers will be happier and more efficient. This sort of thinking worked with humans in some corporations but i¡¯m not sure if this will work here, It¡¯s worth a shot tho. I shall Await these Challengers! While my empire grew wide and tall I began pondering. How could I get an edge against everyone, even gods while in this state? The answer to that question came in unexpected time and form. Because one of my helpers just said to me that thanks to my nature as a crystal life form I could exist without the atmosphere. I knew my creatures were able to communicate between themselves but I thought only a select few could talk to myself. Atmosphere huh, my invaders were breathing the current mix of gasses without an issue but I wonder what would happen If I catapulted the atmosphere into the cosmos. It¡¯s surprisingly easy, just a planet sized implosion which could be achieved by Midas Apocalypse. That means I need alchemists and runeworkers. For alchemists I decided to use the fish people template as a foundation. Firstly, I made them bigger and made their skin thicker and eyes more adept at seeing both on land and in the water. Next I made their fingers more dexterous and long with small razor sharp nails at the end so that they could process plants efficiently. Secondly, I changed their colors to green and used a lot of mana to make their skin able to act as a grow bed for any plants they might deem necessary to grow in big quantities. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. I really knew shit about alchemy so I used these as my alchemists, for rune workers I just made one of the mages stronger and mentally inclined write down the magic on the stone. These professions should have the bare minimum to work their way up to acceptable levels. Next I began my next mega-project, the Axis-Mundi. In simple terms the World Tree acts as an elevator to space. I connected myself with every tree on the island and began shaping them to form true symbiosis exchanging nutrition and minerals from the ground to grow upwards. I began dumping nearly all of my mana inside the new hivemind to make it grow, then something unexpected happened. The clouds on the sky started swirling a lot and lightning started hitting the top of the tree amalgamation, charring it and stumping its growth. This enraged me and with me every helper began chanting and shoving mana into the amalgamat, which slowed down even more rapidly pulling the minerals and life-force out of non-dungeon plants making the whole island whitter away in seconds. When everything died it shot upwards creating big upper branches of a tree that blot out the sun and the sky. To stop any smart invaders I littered every exposed root and branch with tunnels for Zodarii and turrets. I even made some of the smaller branches able to move and swat the flyers away. I think I''ll wait for next arrivals while making this tree huge and complex labirynth of death. I wonder what my mom would''ve said when she saw me doing all of this. I really changed haven''t I? Maybe I really was a monster as the classroom teach said during my primary school days.... I shall make Friends! (Explicit) While everything was growing my prisoner finally gave up and started cooperating. I didn¡¯t torture him in the normal sense, I used various feathers to make him laugh to the point of him falling uncouncious due to asphyxiation. When he woke up after intense feather play I used semi-sentient mushrooms to create aphrodisiac and used the caps of those mushrooms to relieve him while my prisoner was ¡°enjoying¡± himself various roots attached to him and pumped him full of nutrients his body was made of and water mixed with medicine that enhanced his erectile and blood flow functions. When he was asleep he was partially submerged in a knock off healing potion that was found in his belongings. To heal any of his sneaky attempts to take his life and to heal his damaged veins that pumped so much blood to certain parts of his body. Speaking off, his bones were hollow but his muscles were incredibly strong allowing him to fly at a certain height but for any trip longer than an hour it would require him to either stop after each hour of flight for what seemed like 4 hours or use magic. All of those calculations were based on the assumption that his bones didn¡¯t snap during flight and his muscles didn¡¯t tear due to overuse. We didn¡¯t let him out, just scanned his body and drew some conclusions. My prisoner also ate normally to not damage his stomach to be unable to dissolve solid foodstuff. So we fed him very hard seeds and powdered bones mixed with water seeds were a form of humiliation, to make him think that we are treating him like a mindless bird that his people probably evolved off. Powdered bones were a form of a twisted memento that his friends were now a part of him and he was a dirty cannibal for eating them. During his ¡°pleasure¡± time he was constantly asked questions instead of making a seperate creature that had a throat necessary to speak to him I simply extended a tendril of mana that was guided by the roots to his brain to speak to him. After 3 days of him being silent the mushroom grew a long body with almost no cap on top. The prisoner soon learned a new form of pleasure, his first time wasn¡¯t that bad at least to an onlooker because the mushroom seemed careful to not damage him. After 4 more days of both types of torture applied the prisoner finally pleaded for a deal. The deal was for him to be able to live inside my domain and enjoy himself for his information and help with anything I deem necessary. While normally I would¡¯ve disposed of him by the time he became useless I realized that his genetic material and his blood had some DNA that contained memories of old times. The owner didn¡¯t know anything about the times from the beginning of his race but his genes knew, I agreed to his deal with him agreeing to be used as a test subject for reverse engineering his ancestors. As for his information the world was genuinely fucked, that probably explained why no one cared or didn¡¯t arrive too quickly. The information is as follows: That¡¯s most of the relevant information I managed to get out of him before he protested that it¡¯s already the next day and he didn¡¯t get to sleep. Ugh, working with organics is so frustrating! Why do they need to sleep! At least I won¡¯t need to train as hard when I¡¯m bored and can watch him do his things and explore my territory! Lately my level of control of mana began stagnating and it wasn¡¯t fun anymore to train and train day and night. Christy POV -¡±Please let me sleep! It¡¯s another day already¡.¡± I¡¯ve felt that I¡¯m slowly losing consciousness from the exhaustion. -¡±You know you could just think instead of shouting? Anyway after you wake up we will finalize the deal¡± The core¡¯s voice resounded in my mind. Suddenly the antish monster picked me up and placed me on the back of their cool carapaces, after securing me with magic that obliterated Theo they skittered off more quickly than I thought was possible for their small frames. After a bumpy and short lived journey I arrived at a dark but cozy room made out of roots. I had 2 beds both for my size, one that looked like it was made for a human, the other was made out of twigs, branches and fluffy looking material. I think they didn¡¯t know how my people sleep so they gave me options. Besides beds there was a desk with a stool placed in the corner, a fireplace that emitted heat from a crystal placed where the hearth should be and on it was placed a very weak illusion of flames. Next to it were placed some cushioned chairs that were made with people with long tail feathers or tails in mind. On the opposite side of the fireplace there was a door that led to a smaller room with some stools and water crystal, I think they tried to make a bathroom. There wasn¡¯t any hole under the stool with a hole in it but I suppose it¡¯s a dungeon so It will just absorb it. I didn¡¯t explore anymore and went straight to the nest-ish bed.
Next Day
I awoke in panic seeing a different ceiling and surroundings than usual, I in first hazy thought I tried reaching for my weapon but I found nothing. After a while hazy memories returned of what happened to me and why I can¡¯t return to the Formation Master. Before I managed to even make a step towards the door to the outside it was opened by one of those monsters that took me here. It was standing there expectantly when I neared it. It moved one of it¡¯s limbs pointing towards its back and then to me. I realized that it was trying to say that I need to get on. I complied seeing other monsters floating by above us. No point in getting myself killed now that I promised to live here. When I sat comfortably the monster took off at first slowly but it was accelerating without any visible effort. That means that the core is either honorable or I still hold value to it, I¡¯m not sure what kind of value because I¡¯m pretty sure I spoke about everything. The journey was mostly boring since we were traveling in the tunnels. Once I adapted to the speed of my temporary mount I thought that living here with these mounts might not be so bad. Core said something about finalizing the deal when I wake up, maybe I¡¯ll be able to get some of these to live comfortably. We didn¡¯t go to the same room from yesterday, but to what I can only call a throne room of a human king. The core sat on a nice pedestal in a big hall made out of stone that bore the marks of careful and masterful craftsmanship. The hall itself was a bit barren but it was spacious. In front of the core was a chair made out of the roots that often attached to me during my night excesses. My mount basically dropped me off on top of the chair and then just left. I felt that roots began attaching to my arms and legs and even torso, so I quickly made myself as comfortable as possible fearing that this would be a long discussion. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Once the big blueish root touched my neck I heard him. -¡±Have you slept well? Sorry about the roots but we aren¡¯t exactly sure what your preferences are when it comes to food and this will be a long discussion to you but fear not it won¡¯t take a whole day!¡± The core explained while trying to sound friendly for some reason. -¡±Yes, I did sleep well. We can talk about my food later but I¡¯d like to ask why are you trying to be friendly with me? When I arrived we were ready to shatter you if you were to be a menace to surrounding lands.¡± I said curiously, I didn¡¯t fear that it might kill me here, because of my value to it. -¡±I still hold my memories, at least fractions of them from the time before my death and becoming a dungeon. They helped me grow but you can imagine that living as a stationary being with memories of exploring mysterious island isn¡¯t that great. I managed to hold on to my sanity but I¡¯m a little lonely, also you and your party wouldn¡¯t be able to shatter anything even if you reached the true core room!¡± The core exclaimed with cheer, telling me that the crystal in front of me is just that, a random crystal it found. -¡±If you want we can talk later, I have a LOT of time. I wanted to talk about our deal and specify some things. I will provide you with food, a cozy room/house, and an authority to go around the dungeon freely. But in echange you will be subjected to blood letting once a 30 day period, you will spar with my dungeon helpers to give them some combat experience, during your night fun you will allow me to use your bodily fluids however I see fit, you won¡¯t leave territory of a dungeon without permission and you will allow me to observe you in my spare time. The house when it¡¯s eventually built will be outfitted with some dungeon helpers acting as servants/mounts/guards and If I manage to create other beings from your species they will be delivered to you, once I study them.¡± The core surprisingly gave me a good deal, too good but If he really has some memories of the past then his story and this deal makes some sense. I think I would go insane after remembering who I am and being a dungeon. But being observed whenever he has time? He said he has a lot of it, normally I would be opposed but he can do it even if I disagree and he at the very least asked. -¡±I agree¡± I answered simply, no point in mincing words, this is too good of a deal to pass up. -¡±This root touching your neck acts as a mental connection between two of us once it¡¯s cut off the connection will break. When you heard about the house I scanned your mind to see some of your dreams about it. I¡¯m sorry that I invaded your privacy without asking but this was faster than talking and you seem a little uncomfortable staying in the same position for so long. The roots that feed your body with necessary nutrients will soon detach. OH and also If you don¡¯t mind I plan to make a helmet or something like an earpiece that will act as a weaker connection to me, so we could talk outside of the ¡®throne room¡¯. Also I plan to make it so that you will be able to talk to dungeon helpers. Most of them are sapient like yourself.¡± This was a lot of information to digest, while I was thinking about the bombshell he dropped on me the roots holding me in place detached themselves. Then some root touched my head and changed into a helmet made out of thin pieces of leather. It looked like it was designed for bird folk, since it didn¡¯t cover my eyes in any way and had holes for feathers. I wore it and felt that it began attaching to myself. It felt weird but I soon felt a strange connection with the dungeon itself. I felt where everything is. It was like having your own sphere of perception except it was static and only showed what was happening in the dungeon. Even stranger feelings soon assaulted my mind, I gained an ability to command some dungeon helpers to some extent and was able to understand what they were saying. The information overload was too much and I lost consciousness. The last image I saw was an insectoid healer running to help me. Christy POV part 2 I awoke in the same nest as before yet not everything was the same. My feathers were now a mix of blue and red forming unique and strange patterns. Every single one pulsed with mana when I concentrated on them, that meant they were runes. But the markings were nothing like our modern ones. Modern runes are complicated diagrams that adjust mana flow by themselves. Usually they work on stabilising the mana of the ritual/surroundings making spells easier to cast. Natural runes or the ancient runes usually amplify mana in the surroundings or suck the area completely dry to create some absurd effect like making something unbreakable or someone unable to die from old age. My ¡®home¡¯ itself didn¡¯t change although there were some objects on the shelves that are required to properly clean feathers. Also the room layout changed, the room to the bathroom was in the same exact place as the bathroom in my home I was born in. This was quite strange, but core having memories from mortal life, being sane more or less and not trying to kill anything that wasn¡¯t made by it is unheard of. There was some research about cores having memories from before but their situation and inability to make peaceful contact made them insane. I think the core changed my room to suit me more by using my memories during our exchange yesterday. Speaking of which, I tried making use of my new powers. They didn¡¯t work the crystals did. Normally you focus on your tattoo and use either your imagination of the desired effect or the incantation. The incantation is nothing more than saying what you want to achieve with the crystal you have, the higher tier you are the less focus and shorter incantation becomes. Imagining effect is a lot harder and is usually used by Great Mages or Great Artisans. Great Artisan is someone who got offered a guild leader position whether or not it was accepted doesn¡¯t matter. The door creak made me aware that I didn¡¯t in fact eat anything normal during my stay on this island. Creature that opened the door was one of the Zodarii. It was called Gen Hz, the name at first sounded exotic but further inquiries clarified that it was an acronym for Generic Healer Zodarii. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. It was here to act as my guide during my stay in that room. I stopped his monologue about what we are going to see and how great the core is, to say that I¡¯m in fact starving and would like to eat something. Gen asked me to mount him and when I did so he started moving flawlessly dodging his cousins and keeping me from falling. The endless junctions and heavy traffic was nauseating, thankfully we finally left the labyrinth and the view left me in awe. I¡¯m not a herbilogist but my mother sometimes used herbs when I got hurt as a child. The sheer amount of magical plant life that formed a thick glowing forest with big dark pillars that supported the ceiling that was covered in more plant life and the road we were going through. The road or bridge was very wide and heavily used to my left the mage caste trained their magic in the side cavern. To my right were gigantic buildings made out of flesh that housed the queens that laid the eggs. My power was feeding me information about origins of everything that interested me even slightly and to my despair it explained with excruciating level of detail everything about the birth and stages the larvae goes through to achieve full adulthood. I was in disarray the beautiful scenery and horrifying details of it. Starving and feeling disgust that makes me unable to eat. Possibly great life from economic perspective but a terrible one from social perspective. While being friends with an existence akin to god is good, I¡¯d like to have more of them or have some form of contract with my family. We reached the central shaft during my internal struggle. The rays of sunlight hurt my eyes. Being so long underground made me quite good at living there, at least for the bird folk standards. I¡¯m sure humans would be a lot better and would¡¯ve adjusted in minutes but my lineage comes from predatory birds making our eyes very sensitive. Gen sensing what is happening to me forced me to open my eyes with his superior strength while healing me. My feathers pulsed twice before the pain stopped and I could see again. During my blindness the platform we were standing on was slowly reaching the surface, I could already see the grass around but the safety railings didn¡¯t come down. When we finally reached the top I could see we were inside a fort looking structure with several buildings inside that were adapted both to birdfolk, human and dungeon helper use. Gen guided me into one of the bigger houses where the food was being served by fish people to anyone, the dishes were a combination of the animal meat from the island former natives and magical herbs. The server gave me a big fish and a mug of poison that was mixed with healing potion. Apparently this was used in the place of the alcohol and didn¡¯t leave anyone with a hangover... Christy POV part 3 (Explicit) The beverage had an interesting taste, thanks to the spices and toxins in it. Making it quite a spicy drink, the fish was roasted on a grill while being submerged in various sauces every so often. The taste of the dish worked greatly with the drink making sweet but spicy harmony. The meal calmed my mind and heart, I ate it so quickly that I didn¡¯t even realize my plate was already empty. After one more drink I left that building to see something growing with a dungeon power. Roots and bark flew everywhere forming a big tree trunk that stood imposingly high above us it¡¯s roots surrounding the island submerged in salty waters digging deep into underwater deposits. Most people knew about those thanks to many expeditions. These deposits were never tapped because of the desolate islands around and not enough farmland to sustain a permanent underwater mine. Even if they shipped food here the sand and somewhat cracked seabed made a shitty and dangerous foundation for any mine. When the tree stopped growing in height it detonated it¡¯s top part from which the upper branches surged out slowly splitting to regular sized sticks. After a while deafening roar of an explosion arrived traveling from the top. While that was happening the roots began changing to a mix of red, silver and black. The power helpfully supplied that the roots were reinforcing themselves with massive amounts of iron and tungsten. The black color was the result of adaptation made by the core, this tree will be able to fully utilize the power from the sun thanks to it. Next the mushrooms started moving slightly below the upper branches merging themselves with the tree, their job apparently was to catch vapour and ambient mana from the atmosphere. The tree crown soon began sprouting leaves in every colour possible. More warm and cold colors appeared next to the main trunk while the regular leaves popped out on the rest of the branches. My power answered my silent question. Apparently by shifting the colour of the leaves and bark it will be possible to affect the climate of the whole region, making traveling safe or absurdly dangerous by summoning a permanent storm around the tree. Not only that from the central point of the tree a set of stairs slowly descended. Gen took me up there and I noticed that the tree is quite cramped with big tanks that holded liquified and refined mana and various creatures that were able to fire off giant spines in irregular intervals making attacking the island from the air a literal nightmare. From the upper branches hanged little balls that could explode in a flurry of small spikes. Some branches were able to move, even bend like a whip and with the same power destroy anything that survived the initial onslaught of the higher range defences. After exploring the tree both from inside and outside (Gen¡¯s claws helped with exploring outside). We went to the frontlines, the enemies were huge and an endless roar of explosions sounded there it was deafening. But the most surprising thing was that they were fighting monsters from another dungeon. While napkins dropping magical bombs that dealt physical damage and mages dealing absurdly high magical damage. Our side didn¡¯t have any psionic damage dealers and no illusion makers, but even without them they fought admirably. The opposition had every type of unit that you would find in a sapient army but their damage was nullified by specialized healers and mages from our side. The fight was in a stalemate that only consumed resources, I catched myself thinking about the feelings projected by the core from my new power. I gave my suggestion¡¯s to Gen while I watched the fight. Not long after my report about the enemy being a dungeon a deafening clap sounded as if something broke the sound barrier. I closed my eyes due to the noise, but the moment I opened them there was no more frontline¡ Only a giant crater was left with a floating crystal ball near the bottom, mana was almost visible as the enemy core moved it to make a new floor and spawn points. It¡¯s efforts were wasted as our dungeon quickly flooded the whole island with Its territory. Effectively preventing anyone and anything establishing any magical domain here. The foreign crystal tried stubbornly only to be catched in a net from manulia. Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. Manulia is a resource often used in cages or devices meant to temporarily disable the target from being able to use mana. When the core was fully wrapped in several folds of the net. It was then simply put in the crate and shipped back into the main shaft. I explored the Island until midnight while eating plants I found. They strengthened my body by a small amount, a testament to absurd dungeon biology skills that were passive in his territory. Every living being was slowly adapting and becoming increasingly resistant, more robust and adjusted to high mana density. While returning with Gen to my room, suddenly mana became moving quickly to the center of the dungeon. The whole area became devoid of mana in the matter of seconds only to be flooded by a wave of evolutions to every species. Each evolution was minor, only changing the creature''s ability to use mana. Before, every creature was dependent on the core''s mana reserves. After the change they could gather mana on their own, which was a quite logical explanation for the extreme mana level that permeated the whole island. This amount of mana (in nature) could only be found in dragon lairs that soaked their mana over the millenia. The exposure normally leads to mana sickness and then death from mana overexposure. But my body was holding out fine, now that I look at it I noticed that my glowing feathers had some crystals that slowly grew and became more luster. It was hypnotizing to look at after about an hour a third of my feathers detached themselves only to regrow with a crystalic core that was connected to my bones or muscles. After three hours of shedding feathers and regrowing them, my body became blueish with a silver tint. I also noticed that I could move and store mana easily. My whole body also felt lighter, my power said that it was modified by the core to be able to survive in this level of mana. My muscles and bones are apparently made out of small organisms that are too small to see with a naked eye. And now each of those cells have small cores, making me someone with a big amount of small monster cores inside my body. It was terrifying and amazing at the same time because monsters don¡¯t need to use incantations or anything, they just can bend mana to their will without the need for tattoos. While it was good that I no longer needed to study all those boring incantations, my body was becoming closer to the monster and rumors said that any sapient being born from a monster or modified using monster tissue, becomes unstable and needs to be put down before killing everyone. My chain of thoughts was broken by a group of humanoid creatures with carapaces and genitals similar to mine. The cores voice echoed through my mind saying: -¡±You don¡¯t need to worry about becoming a beast, the change was already happening. All I did was extract your crystals from tattoos and prevent you from dying and becoming another dungeon. These creatures were modeled after you and then I gave them every necessary ability and body part to satisfy you. I won¡¯t bore you with details but to say the least they will be able to both keep you alive in a fight and allow you to satisfy any of your urges¡±. And after saying that it¡¯s voice faded, leaving me alone with a bunch of insectoids who literally picked me up and placed me on a table. Their genitals began rubbing against my feathers and skin, while their hands began caressing every part of my body. One of them even began liking my feet, while the other was passionately cleaning feathers around my ass with its tongue. One frail looking insectoid began liking my balls while the other was forcing my dick inside his ass. The last one soon joined by choking me with his dick. After I ejaculated I looked at the choking one and made him kneel before me, after he complied I began voilently raping his mouth while others made love to my feet and ass. The frail one kissed me on a cheek before licking off my sperm from his body. Then from the wall emerged vines that began forcing themselves into my ass and dick. While that was happening insectoids started putting their whole arms inside of my ass, so as a revenge I did this to the frail one which screeched in delight. He¡¯s cute face made me want to suck him off. So I did, his dick while hard was also soft in places and it¡¯s taste reminded me of the meal I ate in the morning. When the frail one cummed all over me I decided to name him George. George couldn¡¯t be more happier from receiving a name as the first one. To make him show his gratitude I asked him to fuck me in the bath until his sperm fills the tub, while he was doing that others also came to bathroom. Their bodies transformed themselves to be more frail and weak looking. This excited me as I ordered the shortest one to force his dick into my throat and not put it out until his cum can¡¯t fit inside me. Others were tasked with massaging my eyes with their assholes or trying to fit their dicks inside my ears. The sun was half way up and yet the tub wasn¡¯t full so I asked for more participants. And soon I felt dick of a fish entering my own dick. Fish people''s genitals were small when they weren¡¯t in mating season¡. It''s called "Understanding Inquisitor" and yes it involves relligion, It will be isekai mixed with other stuff I found fun lately. Anyway That''s mostly it.
