《Project: Dystopia》 A Tale of the Lamb and the Wolf Long long ago when there was widespread use of lambs for their fur and meat, A friendly and nice lamb was living on a farm located far away from civilizations. It was a big farm housing numerous animals from birds to mammals. It also has a vast array of crops dedicated to commercial use. One can say that this could be hell for those animals but the lamb considers it as her home. The lamb is well-known for her obedience to her owners not even trying to struggle if they wanted to shave all of her furs. She loved the look of her fur when it is fully grown so she cannot deny that it felt bad losing it. One day when the night is as dark as the sky can be. The chilly breeze can even feel like your skin was burning, but the difference is it doesn''t feel hot but it felt cold. Extremely cold. The lamb was desperate to create even the tiniest heat by rubbing her own body. She suddenly notices a small creature huddling from the far side of the pen. Curiously, she slowly crept up to it to examine what it is and what is it doing in there. "Uhm, Hello? What are you?" It has black fur, so black that it is impossible to see it outside when it is night. The creature recognizes her and huddled up even more as if trying to protect itself from her. The lamb felt that it was scared of her and didn''t want her presence there. Trying to lessen the tension she tried to speak to it in a more gentle and caring way. "I was just trying to know you, I''m sorry if I scared you." Finally, the creature leaned up and stared at her straightly. "Let me be, I won''t stay for long, as you know it is extremely cold and I can''t stay outside." The creature tried to talk and negotiate with the lamb. At first, the lamb thought that the creature was some kind of a dog and it was just lost. But when it finally talked with her and showed its unusual sharp fangs she immediately realize that it is was in fact, a wolf. A black feral wolf. "Uh... I just- what?" The lamb struggled to speak as it hurriedly tried to back away from the wolf. "Hmm, still the same as ever." The wolf proceeds to lay again accepting the terrified stare of the lamb. The two mammals stayed still for a while as the lamb tries to gather her thoughts as to what it can do about the situation. He seems harmless. Why is he here? Doesn''t he know that if he got caught they''ll surely kill him? And if they did, it isn''t their fault because they''ll do it to protect us. We''re family! The lamb thought to herself. "You can''t be here. You''ll be in danger when they found out that a wolf is inside the pen! Plus, I can''t exactly feel safe when I can be attacked by you when I fell asleep." "Well if you we''re to fall asleep in the first place. Right?" Something that sounds like a smirk is heard from the wolf. "Look I just want to take a shelter here. I won''t try to eat you or anything because I just ate earlier and I am stuffed." The lamb tried to talk once more but in the current situation, she is in no way in a position to make demands from the wolf. Maybe it''s instinct but she knows that if she pushed the wolf too far something may happen. If he''s no longer hungry, then he will not try to eat me right? Right? The lamb just tried to reassure herself because it seems she has no way around this. "Hmm, I''ve got to say it''s kinda weird that you''re stuffed then in another hand you''re here trying to make a shelter with a lamb." "The weather judges no one. If it''s cold to you then surely it will be cold for me, right? As for why I am no longer hungry, it''s because I found a cooked chicken from a guard nearby." "Chicken?" The lamb slightly trembled when he heard that the wolf had just eaten a chicken moments ago. "Hey. I didn''t kill that chicken the guards did. I said they even cooked it right? It''s their fault for not paying attention." The lamb just stared at the wolf as he tried to defend himself. "You''re defending the wrong places here you know? But I understand." The lamb felt a little at ease as she bickered with the wolf. "Can you tell me why did you find yourself in here? As I know the wolves work with a group right?" "I''m with no one. I work alone and I don''t need anyone to be alive." The wolf suddenly turned cold to the lamb resulting in the lamb feeling anxious because of it. "I see I''m sorry." The lamb felt something was on the wolf''s mind as he said those words in a cold stern way. "Let me ask you a question lamb. Are you satisfied with the way you are living right now?" The lamb is taken aback by the sudden question that the wolf asked her. She didn''t know what to say and didn''t have the words to ask anything. "I mean, as I''ve seen you we''re living inside this farm. Have you ever wondered what was outside these walls? Yes, the pen is a good place to take shelter when the weather is tough and unforgiving, but when it''s all over I know that I will go back out there because it makes me feel free." "I don''t know what to say. All I know is that the other side of these walls is dangerous that''s why our owners make us secure inside this pen." "Well, you can''t ask the right questions if you don''t know what questions are needed to be answered." The wolf said as a matter of fact. "Do you know how many creatures are out there? Some even fly and some even swim. Don''t you wanna see them? Some of them seem delicious too." The lamb listened to the wolf''s rambling noticing his enthusiasm when he describes the outdoors. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. "It''s weird how I see myself in you when I was small." I''ve always followed the pack. The pack knows everything so I should just follow them. The wolf thought to himself. "How is a wolf seeing itself in a lamb? That''s not even funny." "That''s why I said it is weird. Hmm, I''ve always followed the pack back then. Do all the things they want me to do. They even forced me to kill a friend to show me how they do things. They always tell me that it''s for my own sake and they''re doing those things for me." "And... I ended up eating my friend." The lamb felt the wolf''s sorrow and guilt as he said those words. "That''s why I left the pack, and ever since I''ve lived and survived even though I don''t have a pack." The lamb tried to comfort the wolf in any way she can but in the end, it was all futile because the wolf stood up after a while and stared straight at the lamb''s eyes. "I''m gonna go now, it''s almost morning and I don''t want to endanger myself and you when I overstay myself in here." The wolf left and vanished in the darkness of the night as the lamb contemplates how the wolf told her that he sees himself in her. How am I in any way similar to him? All I know is this farm, this pen, and those owners who tended to my needs. They take care of us and in return, I give them my fur. Am I a prisoner in that sense? But, the outside huh? I wonder if I can explore out there. Weeks passed and months passed the lamb had regrown her fur and was expecting the owners to harvest it from her. She was waiting for quite a time now but the owners never came. The lamb tried to kill time while waiting when she notice that the gate for the pen was left partially open. "Why is this open?" The lamb tried to peek outside the gate and saw the different pens aligned and the trees that are normally obstructed by the walls inside the pen. The lamb finally made up her mind and left the farm. As to her surprise, she saw how beautiful the nature outside the farm is. The farm always smelled bad because of the feces and fluids coming from the animals in there. But here the wind felt amazing, it felt cold but not chilly. It felt comfortable. This is the first time that she purposely disobeyed her owners. I''ve got to say, this is fun! I didn''t believe wolf before but not anymore! The lamb trotted around and jumped while exploring the area wherever she wishes to go. Time has passed as she left the farm. It is around the afternoon when she felt hungry and thirsty. "Hmm, I''m hungry. Good thing there''s water in here. At least I can drink some." She drank the water from a nearby river as she thoughts to herself how she can solve her problem with being hungry. I''ve always eaten the feeds back at the farm. What can I eat here? Can I even eat this thing? The lamb thought of ways to solve her problem but unfortunately because of how she''s used to living at the farm she never knew how to survive out here. This is the first time she recognized the danger of this beautiful but unforgiving outside world. But the beauty outweighed the worries inside her mind. As she drank more water from the river she noticed a silent yet distinct howl nearby. She curiously crept at the source of the sound. While slowly walking to avoid danger. It was a shallow cave. On closer inspection, it''s more of two giant boulders leaning to each other. Inside was some creature laying down while crying silently. It was a wolf. The first outsider friend that the lamb made. She immediately recognized the dark fur of the wolf and called out to him. "Wolf! It''s me, lamb! I never expected you we''re telling the truth but I am so wrong!" Maybe to her excitement she unnecessarily raised her voice. Nonetheless, it caught the attention of the wolf. It just stared at her deeply clearly trying to remember who she was. "Help me. Please lamb, can you help me?" The wolf tried to sit up while asking for help from the lamb. It never made sense how the dignified and prideful wolf suddenly asked for help. But lamb immediately got close to the wolf and asked him what she can do. "Hey, what''s wrong? What happened to you? While asking those questions she noticed how skinny the wolf have become. It''s almost like he never ate for three days straight. As she realized what was going on it was too late because the wolf got hold of her and trapped the lamb inside his claws. "What are you doing wolf! It''s me! I''m your lamb friend!" Panicking and trapped inside a cave she just resulted screaming at him. "Lamb? Grrr..." The wolf is blinded by his hunger and tried to bite the neck of the lamb. Maybe it''s just chance but the lamb, fortunately, avoided the bite but suffered a wound near her neck. The wound is not fatal. But the blood loss is. Because of this tragedy, the lamb tried to kick the wolf back to give herself some distance from him. "Please lamb help me!" She doesn''t know how to respond to him but due to the wolf being severely wounded and starved he can''t chase her effectively. "I was, I''m sorry! I never wanted to do that! I..." The wolf cried loudly as if he gave up chasing her anymore. The wolf and the lamb just like before found themselves sitting in front of each other. One was bleeding due to a wound in her neck and a wolf crying while he can no longer move due to exhaustion. The lamb regretted going out and disobeying her owners if she didn''t do it she must be still inside the farm and probably getting a nice meal safe and sound. She asked why and why did the wolf have to hurt her. "I was your friend! Why?" The lamb finally managed to speak and asked the wolf why did he do those things. "It was hard. I tried to survive here on my own but I eventually resorted to doing things that the pack did that I hated. I never wished to hurt you. I... just felt hungry and I can''t think straight. I''m sorry." The lamb silently listen to the wolf as he explain to her what was going on with the wolf. The lamb wished to see her owners once more. She suddenly missed the security and safety they provide to her. But at the back of her mind, she wanted to help the wolf with the support of her owners. The lamb slowly got up and approached the wolf trying to fight the urge to run and help the wolf in any way she can. Suddenly a gunshot was heard. A hole at the center of the wolf''s skull was found. Blood was dripping at the wolf''s face. The lamb just stood there shocked as to why her friend wolf just stopped moving. "Bull''s eye!" The man said, clearly happy with what he did. The lamb stared at the face of the man. It was her owner. It was the same face she was so obedient with. Many questions are swirling in the lamb''s mind. The man approached her, got hold of her neck, and stared at her wound. The lamb can''t make a move. Maybe it''s because of shock or how hard the man is holding on to her. "Her wound is shallow it can be fixed." The man told to his friend at the entrance of the cave. The lamb can''t think straight, she felt relieved that the owner found her. But felt mad because the same owner killed her friend in front of her. Still, she trusted her owner. I can still live, right? I won''t die, right? The lamb asked herself desperately. "I''ve got to say, if not because of that lamb''s howling earlier we would not found them inside this cave! Hahaha! Who would have known that we''ll find them in here?" "Yeah, this lamb is a good girl. She always followed my orders. That''s why I am so shocked when I didn''t find her this morning inside her pen." The man patted the lamb as if trying to soothe her. "But still, it will be a pain to bring a wounded lamb back home right? It''s quite far. The friend told the man in a matter-of-fact tone. "Well, yeah, it will be a pain. We can always sell her fur and eat the meat." The lamb didn''t understand a single thing that the owner is saying but she felt safe with him. "Here." The friend tossed a sharp knife at the man. The lamb saw the sharp knife that her owner is holding. She refused to believe it but when she felt the hot sensation of the blade cutting her neck alongside her breath ceased to push air, it was apparent. She realized that the wolf and the lamb are similar. Similar in more ways than one. The lamb existed to be exploited and the wolf existed to be scrutinized. It was sad. It was maddening. But she has no power to oppose it. No one. Not even the scary terrifying wolf. Chapter 1 Did you know that a group of birds is called a flock? A flock of birds stays close to each other, that''s why it is kind of weird that a bird like this is alone standing absent-mindedly in a branch nearby. Of course, this is no ordinary bird and not all birds work as a group, but I digress. I have no recollection of seeing or knowing this type of bird out of the many books I''ve read before. But what is this bird you say? Well for starters, it has a plumb body, medium-length neck, unusually under-sized wings, and large talons, VERY LARGE TALONS. I could say that its body and color are similar to a large chicken, and for that reason that I am considering hunting it. Together with my trusty make-shift slingshot, and a couple of sharp stones, I am now the hunter. The predator. Well, I am lying to you if I didn''t say that its talons make me uneasy. Although they aren''t that sharp, they are large. I wonder how is he able to move with those things? As I''m making sure that it didn''t notice my presence, I slowly put my ammo at the weapon, taking my aim and gently releasing the rubber so that the projectile will reach its target. Except not, it didn''t hit a damn thing. All that is managed is aggravate the bird. "Tch. Now, I messed up." The thing screamed at me so loud that it must have reached the other side of this forest. Well, not that I''ve reached any side of this forest myself, I am just wandering around near the lab where I''ve woken up. As I absent-mindedly reminisce the happenings when I''ve woken up inside that thing, the bird jumped and glided towards me. And yup, that''s me. A jackass about to get knocked out by a bird with a talon as large as a fist. Now you may wonder what am I doing in here and why am I risking myself in the first place. Before all of that please let me end this by... *Thud...* I can almost hear someone counting one to three as if I am in some sort of wrestling match. Now, where am I? Ah yes, around that time. "The Tale of the Lamb and The Wolf. Hmm, that''s one way to end it I guess." I just finished reading a short story from a book and I''ve gotta say, it was kind of tragic. I did like it but I didn''t like the feeling it gave me. "Sometimes, someone you trust could be the one who''ll hurt you huh?" Well time to continue stocking these shelves. Actually, I am working right now. I work at a local book store near my apartment. It was inside a large mall, but for some reason, it never lead to a point where this place is crowded. Sometimes I wonder if this bookstore makes a profit when there were always almost no people inside this establishment aside from the workers. But, I can''t actually complain you know? I kind of liked it when there were almost no people in here. I like the feeling of solitude. Not being alone but being with yourself. It gives me time to think and manage my thoughts effectively. "Last one. Okay, there we go." It may be kind of petty of me but I consider this job as my dream job. I''ve taken a liking to this normalcy. Sometimes it can feel monotonous but it''s part of its charm, and I am satisfied with it. "Hey Chris, are you finished already? You''re taking way too long there." "Yeah, I just finished, I kinda read a little bit, hahaha." "Hey kid, you really need-"If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement. "Yes boss, I got it, don''t get too mad, you have high blood pressure you know?" "Hmph, fair enough." This is my boss, a middle-aged man, and our supervisor here in the bookstore. He is also one of the reasons why it never felt lonely in here. He gives me the connection to the outside world when I am too engrossed with the books I read. "By the way, your mother called me earlier, she said that she needs to buy her maintenance medicine and was wondering if you can wire her some money." "I just sent her half of my salary last month, why is it already used up? Hmm, I wonder where can I get some money." "I can give you an advance if you want? I''ll just subtract it with your salary this month." That could work for the time being. But my exams are coming next week, I guess I''ll make a promissory note for now. But where can I get that extra money? Whatever, I''ll just find some way. "Thanks, Jerry. I''ll take that offer. You''ve been such a help." "No worries, I''ve known your mother since elementary, it''s nothing." "Hey, don''t get too kind there, Boss. God could take you away earlier than you would have wanted. Hahaha." "This little prick!" He said that but he is actually laughing right now. My Boss, Jerry, is a good person. I''ve always respected him ever since I''ve known him. He was a poor child back then, he never had the privilege to study and finish college but despite all that he managed to work and finish her daughter''s studies. Her daughter now works overseas, and I know he is proud of her. He could have chosen to relax and not work anymore but he didn''t. He said to me before that he didn''t like the feeling of being useless. He liked work, it can be even said that it is his therapy. Jerry is a good guy, a great man even, not like a certain someone. "It''s November, it''s getting real chilly huh?" My shift just finished and here I am walking down the road the dimly lit night sky is as beautiful as it ever will and the moon is as majestic as well. One more thing I find therapeutic to me is a walk around my neighborhood. Whenever I feel sad or have something in my mind, a few minutes walk around the neighborhood is all I need, and I won''t even notice that my mind is clear already. "It won''t hurt a bit if I walked a bit farther right? I could also buy my dinner at the local convenience store." The local convenience store. Also known as my late-night hub. This is where I always find myself if I can''t sleep or if I just want to hang around. I could always take a seat somewhere read some novel on my phone and eat some cup noodles. But right now I am in a quest to find food. "Quest? Hahaha." "Excuse me, sir?" "Ah nothing, can I buy these?" I just laughed at myself, quite embarrassing but I acted as nothing happened. Sometimes I do speak my thoughts. It''s a bad habit of mine. Anyways, I''ve bought a couple of chips, cups of noodles along with some ready-to-eat meals, those will be my breakfast tomorrow. I''ve been living this way for the past couple of months because I don''t have the money and time to cook actual food. It''s not like I can''t cook though. I''ve always liked cooking. I would always cook for my siblings back then when I''d been living with my mom. It is a big hobby of mine. But when you''re broke, you have more important things to consider like you know, survive. "That should be it. Thank you, sir." "You''re welcome, is that seat empty?" The cashier nodded and I headed to my seat at the far right of the convenience store. This was always my spot and I like this, even more, when the rain pours it''s like I''m in a music video. I''ve put on my earphones and I was browsing my playlist when the TV flashed breaking news. "Breaking news, The ongoing invasion of the eastern superpowers to the territory of the west has risen to high alert as the west announced that it has raised its nuclear alert because of the continuous aggressiveness of the east towards the citizens of the opposing countries. Here is Jannelle straight at ground zero reporting." These are precarious times. All merchandise have cost much more because of the ongoing wars. Because of that, the standard of living has been much harder to achieve ever since. But it never happened all at once, this slow increase of cost has always been an issue for quite a time now. It could be because our government has sold some crucial industries before like electricity production resulting in the government has almost no control as to what the cost should be. As I wonder how these happenings could affect me, I am being quite uneasy if I can even live alone anymore. I may have to consider going back home with mom. "Sigh, What a time to live in huh?" I finished my food and was about to head out when I was stopped by a suited guy standing erectly in front of me. "Your father wants to talk with you." I''ve felt my blood boil suddenly when I heard the word father. My god, can this day end anymore worse? "I don''t want to. I have no father, step away please." The door is opened by the suited guy and a man stepped out revealing a middle-aged gray-haired man. If there was one thing this man and me got in common, it would be our hair. "Son, it is about your mom. We must talk." - Chapter 1 End - Chapter 2 Blood loss. Ever since life sprouted in the lands of the home we call earth, creatures that have blood flowing within their body have always been vulnerable to it. Blood is necessary for us to survive. It can deliver nutrients to our whole body from the food we eat and oxygen in the air we breathe in. As for how crucial it is to us, it is also one of the reasons why people are so easy to kill. Did you know that depending on the wound a person can bleed out and die for 2-5 minutes? Do you also know why I am thinking about blood loss? Do you also know why I am holding a sharp pencil inside my pocket so tightly? I guess you wouldn''t because I''m not talking to anyone aside from myself. But the reason why I am so mad right now is because of a man that''s also known as my father. He is also the reason why we have been suffering right now. Food, Clothes, Shelter, Education! All of those things and more have been forsaken from us ever since my mom met him. But no matter how much I despise him, the fact that his blood is also flowing inside my veins reminds me that he is still my biological father. That''s also why despite all these grudges I harbor from him, I did let him talk to me inside his fancy, shiny and classy car. "Nice car! I can''t believe that I had to commute to school every day when my father has this fancy car!" "Hmm, yes it''s a nice car. I can order Dimitri here to fetch you from now on if you like, but I assume you wouldn''t even consider it." I just sat there silently looking outside the windows fighting the urge to just stop and get out of there. "Listen, Chris, it''s been 3 years since we last had the chance to talk with each other. Will you look at me in the eye and listen to what I am saying?" "Talk? Hmm, I guess we can talk. But how good it must have been if you talked to us when mom is begging you to consider taking responsibility for us. Because you know, we''re still your children, right? But alas it''s been 3 years I should just forget about it." "That''s now what I am saying. I can''t take back all the things I''ve done and the things I never did. But what I am asking for you now is to listen." I have to calm down. I thought to myself. But when I remember all those things I just can''t control my emotions. "Sigh, I apologize. So what are we talking about? It''s almost midnight. I have to sleep and look for work for my exam fees tomorrow." "How''s your mom? Is she feeling well?" It''s been 1 year since I last saw mom. But I sometimes talk to her every once in a while. We talk about various things but mostly it''s because she''s keeping tabs on me. "What about her? Aside from her migraines, she seems fine. I just sent her money for her maintenance last month. If something were to happen she would surely tell it to me." "I see. Her migraines, how is it? Did she tell you anything about it?" "No. Nothing why?" "Your mother. She''s in hospital. She told me that she tried to contact you because her meds have run out. But then she collapsed after the call. Your sister Stephanie, took her to the nearest hospital and contacted Dimitri. That''s why I know what happened." For the longest time that I''ve known mom. She would always try to smile things out. Why didn''t I notice that! She acted fine even though she isn''t. She laughed even when in fact she felt crying. Why did I believe her facade? "Then why are you here? Should you be at least once be beside mom when she''s in the hospital?" My father looked away when I said that. "I... I had things to do. I just told you this right now because I am near this area."This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. I knew it. It''s not surprising anymore. Well, what can I expect? I honestly did not feel the slightest disappointment anymore. "I see. I''ll be visiting her tomorrow then. Where is she confined?" I have to visit my mother first, but what about my exam? Where can I get the money? What about hospital fees? My exam can wait. I just hope that the cashier will understand my situation. But I don''t know where can I get the money for the hospital. Perhaps because he noticed that my eyebrows were twitching as I said that, he held my shoulder and said to me that he''ll cover my exam fees for now and the hospital as long as needed. Despite my preconceptions about him, I did need the money so I didn''t have much choice. "But. I..." "Maybe it''s not efficient. But I understand a man''s pride. I know you''ve been supporting yourself and your mother for these past 3 years and I don''t want to just barge in and act as if I never did anything wrong. Just. Just rely on me from now on if you ever need assistance." I looked at his eyes as he said that. I didn''t understand why that despite all my hatred for him and his current family. I never hate him through and through. "Okay. I understand." "Steph must have texted you the hospital. Did you not receive it?" I grabbed my phone and checked if I received any messages earlier, but as expected I never did because my phone''s battery is dead. "I see. That should be it. Again, if you ever need any help just contact me. Your sister knows my contact details." "Yes. Thanks. Good night." I got out of the car and headed to the sidewalk leading to my apartment building. The apartment isn''t that big because you know, I can''t afford it. All it has is a kitchen, bathroom, and a living room that serves also as a bedroom. But despite its size, I felt comfortable in here. I remembered what my Father said earlier about me relying on him from now. I will be lying if I didn''t feel conflicted when I accepted the money he gave me. But maybe, just a little bit, I could rely on him from now on. "I have to wake up early tomorrow. How''s May doing?" I spent a little bit of the night wondering about various things including my mother''s well-being and my future. If I were to pursue my course for college I need financial assistance. But no matter how much part-time work I do, it won''t suffice. "There are also expenses back there at mom. Maybe I should just go back to living with her from now on." I never realized but I slowly fell asleep at some point that night while thinking about the expenses and responsibilities I have as the eldest son of the family. If we were just a little bit lucky maybe we won''t be having issues with our daily survival. I dozed off every once and a while and finally slept as I said... "Maybe we could''ve been whole again..." ¡ª Earlier after Chris left his Father''s car ¡ª "Sir, Dr. Wagner is calling." Dimitri held out a mobile phone to his boss and continued driving. "Yes. Mayor Jason speaking." "You really like the word mayor along with your name huh? How''s the position?" "It''s fine. But I don''t see any reason for you to call me about my work as a mayor." "Why, yes of course. I was wondering if you have prepared my test subject because the official trials will be starting soon." "I''m working on it. I trust that you have confidence in my skills yes?" "Of course, Of course, I trust you wholeheartedly! You of all people will surely do it. After all that you''ve done." After all that I''ve done. Jason''s mind wandered a bit when Dr. Wagner said that word. He remembered all those missing person cases from all the news that''s wandering around lately. "I''ll be expecting the next batch of the test subjects arriving by next week. Oh, and by the way, you said that there''s this Chris here? Isn''t he the bastard son of a renowned politician? Who''s that again?" "There''s so many Chris here. But I know that you know that it''s me you are talking about. Don''t worry I''ve had many women before. I don''t see any reason for me to get mad at you for someone who I don''t even recognize as my son, to begin with. "That''s why I am so confident about you Mayor Jason! Hahaha." "I expect that our safety is guaranteed then? When will I get the address for the underground shelter? "Don''t worry Mayor, your wife and children are safe, GUARANTEED! Just wait, I''ll contact you when it''s time." "I see. I''ll be waiting for it then." Jason turned off the call and opened the window as the chilly breeze of the night sky entered the car. "Sir, it''s freezing out there, you''ll catch a cold. You have to close the window. Your health is as important as ever from now on." "Freezing hm? This is nothing. You should know that as well." Dimitri understood what''s Mayor Jason is telling him. After all, when the time comes, it''s not just this cold they will be experiencing. "But you''re right. I can''t afford to get sick days before the great cleansing commence." The Great Cleansing. It will come to know as to when the Gods of mankind cleansed the entire population from its divine sins and all the lower creatures leeching of the promised people. It will be celebrated for years to come in the promised land serving as a reminder of how the people of white hair are the supreme lineage of mankind and all the people of color are lesser than domestic animals. And as for God''s enemies, it will be known as the greatest genocide of mankind also known as PROJECT: DYSTOPIA.
