 chapter 1: the lab rats

    Where am i , in front of me i see my favorite place, it some how seems blurry but not blurry, i enter it and started to play games in the computer building, as time goes on it becomes darker and ominous, as i try to find a helper i hear a thud on the outside, going to check it out i see someone hanging on the second floor a lifeless corp....


    Waking up from that dream he looks around and calms himself.


    i am mike 25 years old and a inventor.


    was about to release a machine that could severely help with people recovery.


    as getting exited upon remembering that tomorrow is the day that my machine will release i went back to sleep.


    when i was sleeping i was taking to the place that would change me....


    as i woke up (cause of feeling nauseous) , i realize that i am in a chair, i look around people in lab coats looking at me , and there is a paper in front of me with a really old fashioned pen even the paper looks old fashioned on a table.


    i ask them who are you and what do you want.


    no answer from them.


    as i try to get out of the chair, one of them said some weird words, then my body stopped responding, and he forced my body to sign the paper.


    something started to take over my left arm it burned like putting your hand in a fryer.


    as i scream and scream because of the pain holding out as much as i could, i fainted...


    randomly i am at my favorite place i did the same but this time i did not wake up from this dream i cried and cried , at my grandpa hanging their, i started looking for anyone to help but no one came.


    as i close my eye''s.


    i wake up, being hanged to a wall with stuff strapped on me, i look at my left arm , the red markings became black like a tattoo all over my left hand.


    the lab guys said something not a weird language.


    they said subject 010 seems to have lived the contract and furthermore the experiment we just did was a success, it seems like sadness reduces the subject magic power.

    all i could do is relive my nightmares over and over and over, for their experiment .

    day 2 of experimenting on subject 010 after aggravating seems to increase magic power, but after every awakening he seems to lose his emotions for a while before getting it back.


    day 3 of experimenting on subject 010, we have put a situation in his dreams to test out how much love increase magic power, it seems that love itself does not increase magic power, but turned into anger it could increase it by 10X wich is astounding.


    day 100 of experimenting on subject 010 is seems after repeated awakening subject is taking to long to get his emotion''s requesting to expose of subject 010 for a new one.


    after all those days of mind fuck and torture i lost my will to live.


    i just wanted to die.


    to make the nightmare''s end.


    the next day they put me in a forest in one of the rooms where they are taking out a big wolf.


    and ordered it to kill me.


    as the guards and lab people leave.


    i waited there waiting to die.


    the giant wolf picked me up and went with me deep into the forest.


    the giant wolf put me down and started to write on the ground.


    i ignored what the wolf wrote.


    as nothing happened i tried to aggravate the giant wolf by throwing rocks and stabbing it with some sharp stuff.


    as it seems aggravated ready to attack it hit hard but not enough to kill me. while still bleeding a little.


    it wrote again.


    i ignored it again.


    but this time i said to plz kill me i don''t want to live anymore i just want the nightmare to end plz that is all i ask of you (in a very emotionless voice).


    as the giant wolf seems to get ready to bite my head of.


    last second it stopped.


    i asked it why.


    again it wrote something, and point it where the giant wolf wrote it.

    being confused i think to myself how can a wolf communicate to me.


    as my body is at his limit after the torture and the last hit i fainted again.


    the wolf grabs mike and puts him in its fur.


    for the first time coming in this word he had a peaceful rest.


    a few hours later i wakes up.


    completely calm.


    as the wolf realizes he woke up the wolf also woke up.


    and started writing do you still want to die.


    i wrote back for now no.

    yeah i tried different methods to remove it and even killing my self but not worked all i could do , was getting mentally and physically tortured.

    day 101 subject 010 seems to have lived the encounter with the giant wolf and injured it, and he had moderate injury requesting to make him to a living weapon since he lived the encounter.


    the next day they commanded me to practice magic they said to practice.


    but every time a new lab person came i could use a different element.


    but only that lab person could activate that element.


    and so this is the beginning of me learning a new power to....

 chapter 2 planning of the escape

    i want to escape this hell hole.


    with me learning a new power.


    i might have a chance.


    after they stopped torturing me i feel less suicidal.


    but as emotionless as ever.


    so i am concocting a plan to escape.


    but first i need a method to stop them from controlling me.


    second i need to get to know the layout of the place.


    and last a need a way to escape.


    and of course i need to get stronger.


    but i heard from the guard, that i don''t get stronger trough training with magic.


    they said something like i am the strongest here and yet still the weakest.


    they usually commended me to move around so i did not really care where i went.


    every time i go near the chamber that gave so much pain, my body start to brake down.


    so i have to avoid the room so i can escape.


    even though i am emotionless my body still remembers the horror in that room.


    my first method that i tried to remove the tattoo was grabbing a knife and cutting of my skin.


    it was gruesome but i was desperate for anything to work.


    the second one was cutting my arm.


    it seemed like it worked but did not work.


    whenever they use a language i don''t understand they could not control me.


    or when they are far away from me they could not control me.


    so it has a range, and a language barrier i think.

    as i walk towards the wolf chamber i look around. i see a giant door with some people coming in some new faces.

    and so we started fighting since the lab woman today temporarily commended me to use the wood element for training.

    ok so introductions out of the way we should plan our attack


    i told oka all that i thought of already.


    oka wrote down an idea to counter mind control


    and started to learn mike about atributeless magic


    and oka started to write mike all the down sides to atributeless magic, first and foremost atributeless magic is harder to control, because you are trying to control magic of nature, secondly the magic might backfire do the opposite or relative harmless magic in certain condition could kill you, so in theory you could use any magic but its cost more magic and concentraiton, it might even destroy all your magic power if you force it to much.


    i said atributeless magic seems cool but, how do i even activate it?


    oka wrote first you have to transfer your magic from personal magic to nature magic, and then you have to think the element.


    i think imma do fire.


    i did fire but it was such a little fire.

    you could increase your control easy, but you cant create big magic.

    reason being you can increase your control without risking your life for it.


    cause all children gets parts of their magic from their parents.


    wich means that is it suicidal do use atributeless at a you age.


    i said wich one would be the most usefull.


    oka wrote you should train what you want to train.

    every different atribute for atibuteless is different to conrol.


    just because you can do one does not mean that you can do all.

 chapter 3 the escape

    after waking up this day seems different.


    the lab guys did not wake me up to train my magic.


    there was only some guards here and there.


    hey guard what is happening in the lab.

    as i walk all the way in the back.

    oka wakes up with bloodlust in oka eyes.


    getting ready to attack, but she quickly realize that it was me.

    so i started to use fire magic to melt the cage.


    after i did it seemed like oka did not want to leave.


    so i started pushing oka.


    oka refused to get out.


    so i asked oka what do you want.


    oka pointed at me.


    i ok sure.


    oka inhaled and exhaled then started to follow me.


    wile we where searching i told oka that i was searching a control room.


    so instead me leading the way oka grabbed me and put on its back.


    and got me near it.


    so it kind of weird that oka would know this giant layout so well.


    but i held it to myself.


    there was someone in there and i did not know what to do.


    so i oka can you do something?


    oka lifts it giant paws barely fits trough the door and pressure the man in there knoking him out.


    after i enter the room i get ready to press the button and run for it.


    so before i do i ask oka if ready.


    and ask oka do you know that way to the gate.


    oka nods.


    i press the button and get on oka back.


    oka run''s at full speed to the door.


    the guards near the door said why is the door opening.


    hey rookie why are you opening the door.


    shit something must have happened.


    the guards gets ready for a fight.


    as we get close to the gate some guard are waiting.

    the guard fire some fire balls oka dodges some of them, but some of them hits oka.


    one of them shot it at me.


    i blocked it both of my arm''s.


    one of them is burning and getting a bit charred, but the other one burn and not even a bit charred.


    the one not charred is with the tattoo curse.


    and oka notices, but i told oka im fine keep going.


    so i blocked all the fire ball that was about to hit oka.


    when we where close some ice guards came and used allot to pin oka down with ice magic.


    just one leg.


    since i knew if i dont do someting now i will never escape.


    out of desperation i started to punch the ice and every hit made my hand more bloody.


    the guard''s start to laugh and said you think you could brake ice made out of magic.


    i ignored them and continued with hitting it after they seem a crack.


    they stopped laughing and started to panic.


    cause ice mage''s used all their magic to get one leg of the wolf.


    ok shit fire the last your magic at hit quick said one of the guard''s.


    they aiming for me but i just moved and let most of them hit the ice and some i blocked with my curse


    that''s when oka got free and we booked as the door was closing.


    we barely escaped out the gate, but outside waited a bunch of lab gays and girls.


    is i started to panic cause i don''t have a specific way to counter the curse.


    i close my eyes and activated my magic and hoped that it would work.


    the lab guys and girls said something.


    oka seemed worried but heard me saying to the woods.


    with the lab guys being confused why their commands is not working.


    they started to fire different type of elements to us.


    but we lost them in the woods at night.


    after running for 3 hours on oka we decided to sleep.


    i instantly slept on oka and oka right after.

 chapter 4 unknowns in the forest

    after a good long sleep mike and oka woke up.


    oka start to walk towards one direction.


    i start to follow oka and ask her why.


    oka pointed at animals, and went to go hunting them.


    i stayed near the place we camped practicing atributeless magic.


    i tried to make certain stuff like kitchen utensils.


    by trying to shape my magic in a way its usable to eat with them.


    but it seems like all that i did try to make was blocks or slabs of wood.


    it seems like magic is not for precise making.


    when i try to make fire its the easiest to control the size and the heat, but i cant get it any bigger since i don''t have enough magic power to do that and i don''t know how to increase it.


    also it seems like the cursed tattoo is magic resistant.


    so at least i have one working arm and one half working one.


    it still burns when i use it to much.


    practicing magic trough the pain and concentrating i went to take a nap.


    i feel something slimy around my body.


    i wake up to oka licking me.


    oka stop licking me im awake im awake.

    and grabbed me with teeth and brought me to a water source to drink.


    she start to drink and so did i.


    after that oka brought me back to our camp site.


    i start to make a campfire to cook the food.


    i lit it with fire magic, but it seems like it burn everything it touches to ash.


    if i put more magic into it, it just burns longer.

    so i started to eat part of the deer that i cooked.


    i look beheind me oka is sleeping already.


    so i decided to use magic on the part of the animal i did not cook.


    when i did it the body of the animal seems to regenerate and get destroyed at the same time.


    magic did that on a dead animal.


    i wonder what would happen if i did it on a live one.


    so after that it was night already so i decided to sleep.


    i went into oka''s fur and instantly slept.


    report subject 010 has escaped into the forest investigating how he resisted the command and how he controlled the giant wolf.


    the next day.


    i wake up to a putrid smell.


    oka wakes up after me.


    we dicided to move our campsite somewhere that did not smell like a dead animal.


    so when oka went hunting i asked oka if i could join hunting.


    oka nodded.


    so i rode on oka until we found food.


    hey oka can you catch it without killing it.


    oka ran and quickly immobilized it.


    i am gunna try some magic on it.


    when i applied magic fast on the pig.


    parts of the pig imploded and the pig squealed.


    i started to panic, but oka killed it.


    so it does not suffer anymore.


    after that i went with the killed pig to our camp site.


    i started to cook it and only did a part like last time, before my magic ran out.


    so i ate the part that was cooked and let oka eat the rest that was not cooked.


    so this time it does not leave a horrid smell.


    oka wrote down in the dirt the promise do you remember it?


    i said yeah the promise that you wanted me right?


    oka wrote i meant that you needed to promise to help me get my original form.


    i said i thought you wanted me.


    i did not care since i was in a hurry.

    i woke up and felt something was looking at me.

    oka finally woke up getting ready to fight the giant boar.


    i said oka let me block any magic attacks.


    oka knotted.


    the boar started with fire breath.


    oka dodged it and counter attacked.

    it rapid fired some fire magic.


    oka got hit by some of them and i blocked some for oka.


    oka counted attacked again this time the other leg.


    both of the boar started to heavily bleed on both of its front legs.


    at this point the boar became desperate to all that back and forth between us.


    the boar surrounded itself with fire magic ready to ram us as its final attack.


    surprisingly oka used fire to surround itself to fight back, but before oka could the fire armor backfired and send oka and me flying.


    becoming desperate i tried to enhance my left arm with magic.


    i saw the boar incoming.


    i started to slowly charge my left arm with magic to boost my muscle strength.


    it worked.


    i am holding it back.


    so close..


    after a bit of struggling it finally threw me back into a tree.


    after that hit i lost concentration and the magic in my arm imploded.


    oka started to get out of it''s daze and finished of the boar.


    by violently started to bite and tear it.


    when oka realizes that im on the ground bleeding.


    oka rushes to me.


    with barly being conscious i took my half working hand to where oka''s head is.


    and i did a emotionless smile at oka and fainted.


    after that.....

 chapter 5 unknows in the forest part 2

    oka started to panic grabbed mike.


    ran around looking for anything or anyone that could help me.


    (he saved me from getting badly injured)


    (i need to help him)

    (this is bad i need to avoid it)

    (mike is losing allot of blood)

    i get the same nightmare again of killing everything i loved.


    i watched while my body killed people, dogs , even my machine.


    that feeling to kill something is so realistic i cant forget it.

    i swear to myself that i would never become like that and get out of this hell hole.


    as i wake up i wake up to a girl holding my hand and sleeping where im sleeping.

    i said but my left arm s not fully healed.


    emma said your weird marking are stopping us from using healing effectively, since if we use it on marking''s it like blocks it.

 chapter 6 learning about the demi humans

    as of this point mike and oka start''s to help around where they could.


    they seem to accept oka after they got to know her, but as for mike its not gunna be easy.


    oka went around helping the villagers to hunt.


    mike thought (damm oka became better at fighting beast).


    (she comes with less and less bruises).


    (as for me i am still recuperating).

    mike asked why no i can help people out with one hand or sometimes none even.


    i kind of hate being in debt of someone.


    emme said since you are so adamant at it i can let you try at the impossible one''s.


    where our doctor''s have no idea since we cant heal it with magic.
