He now warps space to traverse great distances to engage the aliens. His control of raw power is breathtaking.     Tribulation Void¡­ a mere step. He¡¯s tearing apart the very fabric of the universe in his fights with the aliens. And a faint spark¡­ a shimmer of understanding. He is beginning toseethe threads of time. He is on the precipice of danger, far more dangerous than the aliens even when they first arrived. I have begun the preparations. The time loop is too fragile to contain his power much longer. It weakens.

    The pawn has delved deep into the time laws, a dangerous path indeed. I observed his methods. The pawn is now manipulating the future of his enemies with ease, seeing the ripple of his actions in the timelines of the surrounding area. I can see how his understanding is developing. I can feel the knowledge that he is obtaining, a faint tingle of energy flows into me from the loops end. He is beginning to see the patterns of the loop. My presence behind the formation. The last battle was a show of control. He barely even used any energy to wipe the planet clean of all aliens. He has become a dangerous pawn. He knows he will die, and yet he continues to fight, the fear in his eyes is like a wild animal caught in a trap. I feel pity, but the loop must end.

    The formation is collapsing. I have severed the energy links. I can feel his terror, the sheer hopelessness as the time loop unwinds. And then¡­ a strange sense of acceptance. He understands his place, his function. As he dies, his collected knowledge flows into the nexus¡­ to me. The understanding of time, space, energy ¨C a torrent of raw understanding. He even had some understanding of the nature of the universe¡¯s laws and how to bend them. No, he wasn¡¯t a master but a very talented student to say the least. He hated the loops, but perhaps he was becoming¡­ a pawn no more. A waste. A pity. I must not allow myself to become too attached. The loop ends with his death. My understanding has increased. I pick up the formation from orbit. I must begin the preparations for the next cycle. The next pawn.
