《Naruto: A New Reality》


 Chapter 1 - Prologue

    Tora Uchiha opened up his pale featureless eyes as he sat up, rubbing his face in an attempt to wipe away how heavy his eyelids felt. He gave a low yawn before glancing over at the clock on the wall, the one that currently read 8:45 AM.


    Tora froze in the middle of stretching his arms, his eyes widening. Without even thinking about it, he thew his blanket aside and hopped up from his bed. "Holy stinking crap man!! I''m late as hell!! Class started 15 minutes ago, can''t believe I slept in again!!"


    Running to his closet, Tora began taking off his pajamas and throwing them into the corner of his room along with all his other dirty clothes. He then pulled out black shorts and a black jacket containing an Uchiha symbol on one shoulder and a symbol for the Uzumaki clan on the other. It had used to be a Hyuga clan symbol, but Tora had ripped it off and had the symbol that Naruto had on his sewn on.


    Tora zipped up his jacket after putting a shirt on underneath it and then pulled on his black sandals that had the whole feet covered except for the tips of his toes. Once he felt he was ready, Tora darted from his room and swung into the kitchen, snagging a piece of bread before heading out the door. He didn''t have the chance to eat breakfast nor did he live together with anyone else who could''ve cooked for him, leaving him stuck with a single slice of bread.


    Tora burst out the door and almost immediately skidded to a stop. He took a bite of the bread, chewed it, and swallowed it before saying anything. "What the heck are you guys doing here?" Tora asked with a bit of surprise. "Aren''t you guys supposed to be at the academy? Iruka sensei is gonna be super pissed at you, especially you Naruto."


    Standing next to his door were his two friends, Sasuke and Naruto. Naruto was dressed up in his usual orange jumpsuit with his normal goofy and optimistic grin, his goggles present on his forehead as they always were. Sasuke was also dressed up in his usual blue shirt and black shorts, casually leaning against the doorframe as if he was far too cool to be there.


    Naruto laughed a little. "We weren''t just gonna leave you hanging like that. We always go to the academy together. Its not like its the first time you''ve been late." Naruto gave another grin before readjusting his goggles with one hand.


    "Honestly I expected this from Naruto," Sasuke said, his eyes focused straight ahead of them rather then looking at them. "I expected this from you as well but not as much. Anyways, lets going you losers. We''re late enough as it is."


    "What did you just say about me Sasuke?!" Naruto exclaimed, obviously feeling a bit offended. However, Tora put a hand on Naruto''s shoulder as he walked by, telling him to calm down.


    "Sassssukeeee ma dude," Tora said, sliding an arm over Sasukes shoulders. "To think that you of all people would actually wait for me for this long. Normally you would up and abandon me if I was even a minute late. Its nice to see you change your tune. Thanks for waiting pal."


    Sasuke nonchalantly brushed Tora''s arm off of him, an indifferent expression on his face. "I only did it because as one of the top students in our class, you should be setting an example. Try not to be such a burden, you loser."


    "Uh guys, shouldn''t we be hurrying?" Naruto asked as he nudged between the two of them. "We are pretty late."


    Sasuke followed close behind with Naruto bringing up the rear and slowly catching up to Sasuke.

 Chapter 2 - Transformation Jutsu

    "Anddd, boom I''m first," Tora yelled as he slapped the front of the Academy building. "Looks like I''m definitely going to be graduating today. Sucks for you guys."


    Sasuke and Naruto weren''t too far behind as both of them slapped the wall simultaneously, both forcing themselves to stop as they had been sprinting at full speed. They weren''t out of breath but they both looked slightly frustrated. However, they weren''t upset at tying for second place with one another, that much Tora was certain of.


    "What the heck Tora," Naruto complained as he took his hand off the wall. "At least wait for us to catch up so its a fair match. Having a head start doesn''t make you the winner, just makes you a cheater."


    "It doesn''t count if you have a head start," Sasuke said simply with a frown on his face. "You cheated meaning that the race is a tie. Loser."


    Tora shook his head. "Sasuke, why does everything you say have to end in loser? In any case, if you guys are so hung up about losing...I guess we can try aga-"


    "Oh? And what exactly are you going to try again?" A voice said from behind the three of them. "Trying to not be late again? Because you failed that miserably!!"


    Tora flinched a bit before all three of them turned their heads to look at their teacher and mentor, Iruka Umino. He had a smile on his face but it contained a fierce annoyance and well deserved anger. This wasn''t the first time the three of them had been late as, if even one was absent then usually the other two would be as well. Ironically though, Tora and Sasuke were the top of their entire class despite these absences.


    "Oh, Iruka sensei....how are you today? You looking great today!! Did you do something new to your hair? Looks good!!" Tora ran his hands through his spiky black hair nervously as he stared into his teachers eyes.


    "Get inside.....now!!" Iruka almost screamed as he pointed inside of the still open door. "You guys constantly drive me up the wall. Especially you Naruto since you actually need the lessons."


    The three of them headed inside without a word, not a single sound uttered from any of them. The muttering that came when they walked inside was enough for all three of them. However, Tora was used to it so he wasn''t too upset about it. Iruka usually yelled at the three of them at least once every two weeks but he would usually get over it rather quickly.


    Walking up the steps of the classroom, the three of them took their places at the large desk they all shared. There were quiet talks happening all around them but they were still rather easy to tune out.


    "As punishment for 3 of the students being late and missing the short lecture," Iruka said after he slammed the door shut. "The WHOLE class can review the transformation jutsu."


    A chorus of m??ns and groans were issued throughout the classroom followed by numeorus glares issued at Tora as if they knew he was the primary culprit. The stares were definitely correct but Tora had to wonder how they knew it was his fault and not Naruto''s or Sasuke''s. Its not like he was the one who continuously was absent or skipped classes every now and then...well he was but he wasn''t about to say anything about it out loud.


    This one statement actually drew a laugh from Tora as he stood up from his desk and went to stand in line near the front of the class like everyone else was doing. "I''m sorry...did you say something? I couldn''t hear you over your constant su?k?n? of Sasuke''s d??k. You and Ino be all over that more then anyone I know."


    Sakura opened her mouth to say something but immediately closed it again, unable to think up a response. Instead she just stood in line next to Shikamaru and became as quiet as a mouse. Ino was great at insulting people and gossiping but when it came to straight up insulting her, she could either go ballistic and start cursing loudly or fall completely silent if she couldn''t think of any words.


    Years of messing with her and insulting her had morphed her personality to the current one and Tora happily took all the credit for it. Hell, Tora would even sometimes purposefully antagonize her simply because he liked her reaction and wanted to see how she handled it. He absolutely despised Sakura for various reasons, her annoying voice and constant Sasuke worshipping being the main one.


    Tora stepped into the back of the line of students, each person who made it to the front having to do the Transformation jutsu, all of them choosing to transform into Iruka. Everyone seemed to be able to do it smoothly, at least until Naruto stepped up. Right before he even did anything, Tora already knew what he was gonna do and had to stifle his laughter. He had seen it happen many times before and this time would surely be no different as Naruto would never pass up an opportunity such as this.


    Sure enough, putting his hands together in a sign and focusing his chakra, Naruto transformed into the female version of himself...a n?k?d female version. He didnt really seem to mind being n?k?d in this form and considered it more of a joke. It was a ninjutsu he invented called Sexy Jutsu and it was actually pretty useless in actual battle except maybe to confuse the opponent for a certain amount of time.


    However, despite it being almost completely useless, it seemed to work incredibly well on Iruka as he took a step back, blood beginning to trail from his nose. He was obviously surprised which didn''t make sense given Naruto''s track record, but here he was all stunned until Naruto transformed back into himself.


    Tora let out a laugh as Iruka shook his head, wiping his nose with his sleeve. "Damn it Naruto, I already told you not to do that. Now do the Transformation Jutsu!!" He looked pissed as hell, and it didnt help that Tora was still laughing from watching Iruka trying to staunch the flow of blood from his nose.


    Naruto laughed a little before putting his hands back together and gathering his chakra. Moments later, he stood tall as an exact replica of Iruka, pulling it off without a single issue. It wasn''t any surprise to Tora though as he and Naruto spent hour after hour practicing it together with Sasuke, turning into various people passing by on the street. It got to the point where, with a bunch of encouragement and friendly advice, Naruto could transform without a single error.


    "Good job," Iruka said as he worte something down on his clipboard. "I knew you had it in you. If you''d just stop sleeping during my classes, I''m sure you''d be at the top of the class just like Tora and Sasuke."


    Sasuke liked to act all cool on the surface, acting as if nothing fazed him, but in reality he didn''t like people laughing at his two friends. He wouldn''t admit it if he was asked, but on his own way, he would look out for the two of them even if they didnt ask or even need it.


    Of course Sasuke only acted this way to Tora and Naruto as they had been friends since childhood, Tora had been even been friends with since the infamous slaughtering of the Uchiha clan. They went back a long way so it only made sense that even if he acted all cool, he would still treat them both better then everyone else.


    Sasuke easily transformed in Iruka before moving aside for Sakura who also turned into him with ease. However she stopped to look at Sasuke with a bright smile before glaring at Tora with hatred followed by her heading back to her seat. Next up was Setsuna Yakaboshi, followed by Itana Subiki, and then it was finally time for Tora Uchiha to step on up.

    //Okay so honestly I did change the past almost completely except the big events obviously. With the past change, the personality of others is also susceptible to change....lets face it, its trash but at least we still get to hate on young Sakura....pink haired dumbass.


    Also I noticed when rewatching Naruto that there are other students who graduated from the same class as well and decided to throw a few OCs of mine around to make things more interesting.....you should be able to spot the names I threw in

 Chapter 3 - Gathering

    "Alrighhhtt, now that thats over, lets get to training like theres no tomorrow," Naruto shouted as he burst out the front door. "What do you guys think we should do today?"


    After a whole day of review, Iruka had finally dismissed the class, telling them to prepare themselves for the graduation exam taking place tomorrow. There was to be a written exam followed by a test of ninjutsu, and if you passed both of them then youd move on to become a genin, ninjas of the lowest level.


    "Hold your horses Naruto," Tora said as he walked out the door with Sasuke following behind him. "I have an idea but I need some of our classmates to participate in order for it to work. It''ll be difficult to have people join us, but with the right words anything is possible."


    Tora and the other two stopped next to the swing near the Academy entrance, waiting for their fellow classmates to come out. Whenever one was spotted, Tora would wave them over and explain his proposition, choosing his words carefully.


    Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Aburame, and Shikamaru Nara were relatively easy to convince as Tora had known each of them since starting the academy. Kiba wanted to prove himself, Shino simply wanted to be a part of the action, and Shikamaru said that even though it was a drag he didn''t have anything better to do. These three were simple to convince and so were the next ones to show up.


    Sakura and Ino walked through the door and, after seeing Sasuke in the small group, came running in their directions, demanding to participate. Hinata Hyuga''s face was flushed red when Tora waved at her, but she eventually made her way to the group, standing as far as she could from Tora and Naruto. Choji Akimichi, the guy who was constantly eating, also came on over and agreed to join as long as he could keep munching away on his bag of chips.


    All of these people were easy to deal with, it was the next two people that Tora had trouble with. Setsuna "Suna" Yakaboshi and Itana Subiki, the two girls who refused to follow along with all the other girls in their pursuit of Sasuke. They were unique in many ways, not to mention they were strong, almost equalling Tora and Sasuke in strength and smarts. They were the top girls in class but that wasn''t the real reason that Tora had trouble with them.


    "Well well well, if it isnt Tora," Suna said with a smile as she and Itana approached the groups. "How come you were late? Did you really go so far just to avoid us? I mean, you know you cant avoid us forever."


    "I wasn''t trying to avoid the two of you," Tora said, giving them a small smile. "I actually overslept and couldn''t make it on time. I would never try to avoid you girls even if your a tad bit annoying."


    "The only person whose annoying around here is definitely you," Itana said as she returned the smile, her red eyes trained on Tora''s featurless pale ones. "So whats on the agenda for today? Considering you have a whole bunch of people gathered here I would ?ssume that the Villages number one ''Hybrid freak'' has some idea planned out."


    Tora laughed a little and tapped both Suna and Itana on the shoulder as he walked past them. "Hybrid or not, I indeed have something planned. Go stand with the group and we''ll begin. I plan on us having a little bit of fun before we all go our separate ways. One last thrill before we officially become genin and begin our journey as ninjas."


    Tora walked to the front of the small huddle of 11 people and loudly cleared his throat, drawing everyone''s attention as they had been chatting amongst themselves. "Welcome everyone to todays training session sponsored by your favorite outcast, me. Today we''re gonna be doing something special in preparation for when we graduate."


    "Is this gonna take too long?" Sakura asked as she raised a hand. "I have to get back home before sundown or my parents are gonna kill me."


    "Is anyone stopping you from leaving?" Suna asked with an annoyed expression, her ruby red eyes focused on Sakura. "Its not like you''d be any use here anyways, Sakura!! All you and Ino are here for is to become Sasuke''s cheerleaders so why bother even sticking around to train?"


    "You should alll just shut up and listen," Sasuke interjected without even looking, his eyes trained on Tora. "Whose stronger then who isn''t why we''re here. Just keep quiet and quit being annoying."


    Everyone fell silent as all eyes looked at Sasuke before turning back to Tora who was watching with obvious amusement. No one spoke up again, instead deciding to just seee what Tora had planned.


    "As you all know, once we graduate, we''ll all be separated into three man squads," Tora said, tucking his hands into his pockets. "What I have planned is for all of us to work on our teamwork by creating our own three man cells and duking it out over on the field. The teams will be decided by a draw of straws so its fair. If your in then follow me, and if not then feel free to leave."


    Naruto ran to catch up to Tora while Sasuke chose to walk, hanging back with the more hesitant group as they all made their way to the training grounds. Of course, the moment Tora and Naruto were out of earshot, the complaints began to flow like water.


    "Why are we even listening to that freak?" Sakura asked as she glared at Tora with hatred in her eyes. "That reject isn''t good for anything else except causing trouble. Not to mention that Naruto is also with him, another nuisance."


    "Yet he''s the top of the class and Naruto just chooses to do nothing, whats your excuse?" Suna asked, slapping the back of Sakura''s head.


    "Well I also heard some stuff from my dad about Tora and why all the grown ups seem to hate him so much," Shikimaru said, interrupting the start of an argument. "Apparently he was born from an affair between two of the most powerful clans in the Hidden Leaf, the Hyuga and the Uchiha. Affairs are already looked down upon in the village from what I hear. However, due to how valuable the Byakugan is to the Hyuga, it must have been pretty bad when a possessor of the Byakugan interloped with someone who possessed the Sharingan."


    "Sharingan? Byakugan? Whats that?" Sakura asked as she pried her head away from Suna.


    "A bloodline trait, thats all my dad would say about it," Shikamaru said with a shake of his head. "In any case, my dad told me that there''s some big decisions going on in the background on how to deal with Tora if he ever unlocks the Byakugan. The Huyga main branch is constantly pressuring the third hokage to allow them to do some sort of curse mark on him to protect the Byakugan. So far its been a no-go though."


    "I didn''t get an answer for that one," Shikamaru said. "I''ve asked about Naruto for a while now as he seems like a pretty okay guy even if he''s annoying as they come. Dad always ignored the question and chose not to answer."


    "I will say one thing though," Shikamaru said. "If we''re talking about pure potential, Tora has the most by far even if we''re talking about bloodline alone. It''s a drag to admit, but that guy will easily outshine us all someday, wether we want him to or not."

 Chapter 4 - A Case Of Stolen Scrolls

    It took around ten minutes for everyone to reach the training ground, but only because some of the more uninterested people (namely Sakura and Ino) had decided to lag behind. Nobody in the group said anything either as Tora took out 12 wooden straws from his pocket. No one questioned when he had had the time to get or make them, not even Naruto or Sasuke said anything.


    "As you can see, I currently hold 12 sticks in my hand, same amount as the number of people here," Tora said as he pulled one out from the group and held it for the crowd to see. "There are four sets of three to correspond with the three man cell that we''ll all be placed in once we become genin. If your participating, come forward and take a stick, see who your gonna be partnered with and try to work out a strategy that''ll beat your opponents."


    Everyone walked forward, each person taking their sticks and walking back, waiting to see who would be in their group. The way Tora had planned it out was to see how well everyone could get along as long as they had a common goal. It wasn''t a foolproof plan as he knew for a fact that if he got paired with Sakura, he would''ve told that Sasuke-worshipper to take a step back and let him and the other guy/girl fight.


    The first team was Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji with none of them seeming too happy about it, except for maybe Choji who was still eating and didn''t seem to mind all that much. The second was Kiba with his dog Akamaru, Hinata, and Shino, with all of them seeming like they didnt have a problem with it. The third was Sakura, Setsuna, and Itana, with Sakura seeming like she''d rather be on literally any other team as the two girls began ignoring her. The last team consisted of none other then Naruto, Sasuke, and Tora.


    "Question," Ino asked as she walked up to Tora. "How did you manage to get paired up with the people YOU wanted to get but WE didnt? You rigged it didn''t you?"


    "Yeah Ino, I put you all under a genjutsu just so I can cheat at drawing lots," Tora laughed a little before patting her on the shoulder. "Try to think before accusing others. Anyways, go and join your team. You all have exactly 10 minutes to form a battle strategy before going in to fight. You can treat it like a game or a match between rivals. Killing is not allowed....obviously this is meant for people who are strong and could accidentally kill someone.....so you can ignore what I said Sakura and Ino can as well."


    "Seriously though," Sasuke said as Tora walked back over to them over the sound of both girls complaining. "How did you manage it?"


    "Yeah, you got all three of us onto the same team," Naruto said with a goofy grin. "That was pretty great even if you did cheat a little."


    "I didn''t actually do anything to it,'' Tora said with shrug of his shoulders. "This was purely by chance and we should all be grateful that we got it. I played no part whatsoever in making the teams."


    Neither of the two looked like they believed him, but nobody questioned it as the three of them began to discuss a battle strategy. They had experience working as a team and already knew the scope of each others fighting styles and known jutsus so it was easy for them to come up with something. They didnt even need 10 minutes to wrap up a strategy and they spent the last few minutes simply chatting amongst themselves, discussing how they were progressing on the jutsu each of them were studying up on.


    "Tora, have you managed to figure it out yet?" Naruto asked as they wrapped up their strategy. "It would be a huge boost in our teamwork and people would probably look up to you. Last time you said you had the first step pretty close to finished."


    Tora shook his head with a sad smile. "Unfortunately, I only just finished the first step which is to create the personal mark. I cant quite grasp the technique though. Not to mention that even if I did, the amount of skill needed to actually be used in combat is astronomical. Timing, accuracy, decision making, concentration, and strategy. All these need to be quite high before I can even consider fighting others with it."


    "It isn''t considered an S-rank jutsu for no reason," Sasuke said. "It''d be foolish to think that a mere academy student could pull off something that would normally take years of work and study. You simply need to get the hang of it through hard work and training. Don''t fall too far behind or I''ll surpass you. Same for you, Naruto."


    "You think your sooo cool Sasuke," Naruto complained with a frown. "Just you wait, I''m going to master an amazing jutsu and leave you all far behind me. Your looking at the next hokage after all!!"


    "Tch, whatever you say...loser," Sasuke muttered as he looked towards the other groups.


    The two of them looked at him before looking away, causing Tora to smile. "Anyways, ten minutes is about up so how about we go and test out what the other teams have got? It outta be pretty good."


    The three of them proceeded to head over to the other groups who were still talking to each other. Once Tora and the others walked over however, the three groups quieted down and looked towards them, clearly realizing that their time was up. Tora wasn''t sure if they had all finished strategizing or were just veing obedient but it seemed everyone had nothing more to say to each other.


    "Okay, so here''s how its gonna go down," Tora said, clapping his hands together. "Originally I was gonna have one team at a time fight another team but due to the fact that others may have stuff to do, we''ll have one match. It''ll still be a 1v1 team match, but there''ll be two matches happening at the same time. In order to keep it fair, team Setsuna will be versing us and team Kiba will be versing team Ino. Any objections?"


    "I have an objection," A voice said from behind Tora. "Why do you keep stealing scrolls that clearly don''t belong to you? Surely you know that its a crime.....Tora!!"


    Tora flinched as the familiat voice reached his ears. He couldn''t help but give an internal sigh before putting on a nervous smile and turning to face the 3rd Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, who had actually come out here to visit Tora personally. Standing directly behind Hiruzen was two chunin level shinobi who looked totally pissed off. Up until now everything Tora had done had been incidences which the 3rd Hokage had covered for, but Hiruzen had never actually come in person to reprimand him. He couldn''t blame him though as he actually done something this time that warranted a visit.


    "Oh, hey Old man third," Tora said with a smile. "Fancy meeting you here? Nice day we''re having right, perfect for a good nonviolent chat."


    Hiruzen sighed as he looked at the young youth before him. "Tora its time you stop pulling stunts like this. Though the scrolls you took aren''t considered to be important to you, they''re in fact secrets that others would kill to have. If you keep stealing then I''m gonna have to severely punish you. Also, if you pull the stunt of drawing on the Hokages faces like you and Naruto did last week you''ll be in serious trouble."


    "Well if I''m being totally honest with you Old man Third the stone faces looked so much better after we painted on them." Tora smiled a little as he recalled the fun he and Naruto had had when they were drawing followed by being chased by some low class chunin ninjas. "Besides, we cleaned it up afterwards. There was no harm done in the end.


    Naruto took this moment to step forward. "Old man third, the scrolls your mentioning are the ones Tora has right? Tora was just borrowing them so he can learn a single jutsu and he needed more information."


    "But Lord Third, he stole secret scrolls that academy students should never get their hands on," one of the chunin behind him said. "Is it really wise to let him off with a slap on the wrist?"


    "If a mere academy student could steal the scroll then someone must be doing a terrible job guarding the scrolls," Hiruzen replied simply. "I have more paperwork to do so I''ll ve heading back."


    The two chunin said nothing else as they followed after Hiruzen, shooting a glare at Tora who stuck his tongue out at them. About every ninja below Jonin level disliked Tora for one reason or another but he didn''t really mind as they all were d*cks to him before they even knew him. Tora never even bothered them and they still despised him but, again, Tora didn''t mind.


    Turning back around, Tora was about to address his classmates but ended up only looking at Sasuke, Naruto, Itana, and Setsuna. None of the other academy students had stuck around for the conversation with the Hokage, everyone obviously anticipating something bad happening. No one was even remotely curious about what Hiruzen had been here for which made Tora wonder why.


    "Oh, I see everyone left," Tora said with a shake of his head. "And after I went through the trouble of gathering them together. Such a shame."


    "Well what did you think would happen?" Suna asked as she walked over. "No one wanted any part in a problem you created for yourself. Everyone already sees you as a weirdo and a freak so they would rather leave and protect themselves then to sate their own curiosity."


    "Then why are you here?" Sasuke asked, his black eyes trained on Suna. He had an ongoing rivalry with her even if he wouldn''t admit it. She was the only one besides Naruto and Tora who could force him to fight seriously. "Are you saying that you care about Tora?"


    "Thats exactly what I''m saying," Suna said with a smile as she winked at Sasuke. "Tora is pretty cool if I do say so myself. Sure beats tall, dark, and depressing. No offense."


    Sasuke looked like he didn''t really care as he looked over to Itana who had also walked over. "Why are you here? You also here cause your curious?"


    "Yeah, its not like we gave someone to go home to," Suna said as she leaned on Tora''s shoulder, a playful look in her red eyes. "So how about we have some fun?"

    Whoever can guess the jutsu that My boi Tora is trying to learn will he considered a GOD and will have my respect and the top commentor of my novel.


    Give it a shot you nerds.....heres a hint, its an S rank jutsu because of its difficulty to use in combat. Any more hints and I''ll just be giving the answer.

 Chapter 5 - Playing Rough

    "Dang, how do you keep your apartment so tidy?" Naruto asked as he walked in after Tora. "Mines just a mess that I need to get around to cleaning."


    "Well my friend, it involves a little something I like to call cleaning up after myself." Tora walked over and opened up a cabinet, pulling out some cups. "If any of you want refreshments then feel free to get some. Try not to waste too much though as I''ll blow the monthly allowance I get from old man Third. Even if all of us parentless kids get it, I''d still like to conserve what I got."


    "Oh please, don''t be so stingy," Suna said as she walked in, closing the door behind her after Itana and Sasuke walked in. "Once you become a genin, you can do missions for your own money."


    "Thats not the point though Suna," Tora responded as he poured himself some milk. "I''d rather conserve then to try and make myself go completely broke."


    The five of them had decided that instead of going out and practicing their jutsu, they''d go over to Tora''s house and just hang out for little while and chat about graduation and plans for the future. It was nice to relax every now and then from the never ending training and studying each of them went through almost every day. Even if one was a genius, hard work was still a key factor in everything which was why everyone besides Naruto was ranked top of their class and also why they needed a break.


    "So you guys all ready for the exam tomorrow?" Tora asked as he sipped his milk. "A little birdy told me its going to be the clone jutsu after the written test. Such an easy jutsu should surely be easy for all of you."


    "Well we''re all gonna pass," Sasuke said bluntly as he helped himself to some tomatoes from Tora''s fridge. Tora always found this weird but he never said anything about it before nor did he plan on it. "We wouldn''t be able to call ourselves top of the class. Just try not to hold me back by failing....Naruto."


    "And how would I hold you back?" Naruto shot back. "I got the clone jutsu down with ease. You all should be worried about being surpassed by me, Naruto, the next Hokage!!"


    "Yeah? The only one we really need to worry about is Tora and his ability to surpass us all," Itana said as she walked past the group, heading for Tora''s room. "If we slack off, Tora could pass us all in no time. Isn''t that right Tora Uchiha?"


    "Hey hey hey, where do you think your going Itana? My room is off limits," Tora stepped forward and snagged her by the sleeve. "Stay in here and get something to drink. Its a no-go with my room."


    "Oh, is that so?" Setsuna asked as she darted by Tora and into his room. "Whats the matter? Does the almighty hybrid have trouble defending his territory from two fragile girls?"


    "Fragile my ?ss," Tora replied as he yanked Itana before switching his sights to Suna who was now jumping on his bed. "You''re so dead Yakaboshi!!! Wait until I get my hands on you."


    Tora ran up and tackled Suna down onto the bed, wrestling her for dominance. Itana joined in a few seconds later and Naruto, not wanting to be left out and let Tora wrestle them by himself, joined in shortly after. Sasuke however was still eating his tomatoe and merely watched from the doorway, at least until a sandal came flying and knocked it out of his hand.


    For the next few minutes, sounds could be heard outside the apartment as the five of them messed around like children, wrestling each other just for the heck of it. It wasnt until Tora had pinned both Itana and Suna down on the floor by their throats around ten minutes later that the match finally came to an end. The two girls probably could have gotten away but after a full ten minutes of using their full strength, they were all slightly out of breath.


    "Ha....we definitely...win," Tora said between breaths. "You girls...lose. Its three against two though.....so I''ll give you that."


    Removing his hands, Tora fell onto his back out of breath alongside Naruto and Sasuke who had also surprisingly took part in the carefree childish game. It felt like back in the old days when the five of them would all just fight each other just for the heck of it.


    Tora rolled his eyes as his breathing became steady. "You and your weird kinks Suna. Your lucky I''m tired otherwise I''d be kicking you and Itana out of my house right now."


    "Ha, I doubt you even could," Itana said with a small laugh as she rubbed her throat. "We''re just as strong as you boys are so it''d be difficult for you to do it by yourself."


    "Well, its getting pretty late and I''m getting pretty hungry." Naruto sat up and stretched his arms. "I need to head home to get something to eat. You sleeping over today Tora? Sasuke?"


    "Not tonight bro," Tora said as he also sat up. "I have things that need to be done. I have still have to return those scrolls before it gets too dark. Old man third never specified when they had to be returned but I''d rather get them back before anyone else complains. I''ve alreasy memorized the notes, I just need to practice and maybe I can get it with enough concentration."


    Naruto nodded before looking over at Sasuke who also shook his head. Though he looked disappointed at first, Naruto had a huge smile on his face when Sasuke handed him a few coins.


    "You better pay me back you loser," Sasuke said with a serious expression. "First mission you pass I get your share of the money."


    Naruto nodded as he took out his frog pouch and slipped the coins into it before snapping it shut and slipping it back into his pocket. "Well, I''m off to Ichiraku''s. Ill see you guys tomorrow." He gave a small excited laugh as he bolted out of the room, the sound of the front door being shut shortly folllowing.


    Sasuke stood up a few moments later, readjusting his clothes and nodding towards Tora. "Make sure you return those scrolls. I don''t need you getting held back because of a stupid thing like that. Remember our promise.....loser."


    Tora smiled and gave a thumbs up. "Become strong, get recognized by the village, get a mission to kill Itachi. Of course I remember!! I''m the one who beat the idea into your head for the past few years. Sure better then your gloomy and depressed state you were in. I''m sure we can all agree that your better this way."


    Sasuke actually smiled a little, something that was quite rare for him. "Its not like you all gave me the choice of ignoring you. The first time I ignored any of you, you tried to beat the hell out of me."


    Sasuke picked up his fallem tomatoe and tossed it into the garbage can near the door entrance. "Anyways, I''m off. I want to train for an hour or two it gets too dark. I''ll also see you all tomorrow." With those words, Sasuke left the house.


    Suna and Itana stayed for another thirty minutes, chatting with Tora about random things before both of them standing up and also bidding farewell. Though they all had only stayed with him for a bit, they all thanked Tora for the good time. They then left with Suna attempting to kiss Tora on the cheek but failing and Itana giving him a quick punch to the gut and succeeding while he was distracted.


    Rubbing his gut, Tora walked back to his room after escorting the two out his apartment. He now had to go and return the scrolls to their rightful owners and lay on a few apologies to appease them as best he could. He had stolen them a few days ago but he already made copies so he wasn''t to worried about giving them up.


    "Well, tomorrow is a big day," Tora said as he picked up two scrolls from his closet. "Lets get this done and then get in a hour worth of training. Its about time that I become a genin and take my first step into the ninja world."

    Is it wrong for me to like my version of Sasuke better? He still has hatred for Itachi but not to the point where he neglects everyone aroind him and looks down on others...I feel like I both ruined him and made him better.

    I''d much rather focus on building the relationships of these five characters rather then anything else. I like the feeling of friendship and comradery as well as the process of growth they each need to have.

 Chapter 7 - Sorry For The Wait........Restarting??

    Chaps today.....Ive been slacking recently due me hitting a roadblock.


    I might have to start the story from the beginning as I want to change a few things up. As you might have noticed from the tags placed on the novel, this is a story with multiple protagonists, namely the 5 characters, my 3 OCs and Naruto and Sasuke.


    I want to take a step back and try to dive into the story more carefully so I can give you the story you all deserve. Sorry for this and I''ll make it up to you. But I promise that when I do this, it wont be dropped any time soon.
