 Chapter 1 - Awakening

    Life had very bad ways of ruining you , I''m saying this because I''m speaking from experience, since I was eight years old I was diagnosed with cancer and I was bedridden for most of my life in hospitals. It was very boring if you ask me and my only escape from that boredom was anime''s. Naruto and one piece to be exact , and I loved these anime''s they were one of the best anime ever made and the characters don''t even get me started. Well I was a great fan of obito uchiha, his philosophy of the world, his white swirly mask and cold tone when he spoke he may sound like Madara at times but I think that voice fits him more than his original voice. Obito was a great character too bad he died in the fourth Shinobi war.

    Even though I finished watching naruto I never got the chance to finish watching one piece even though the series wasn''t complete but I stopped at episode 913 which was my last episode because unfortunately I died at the age of 21 . Such was life and here I was floating around in black void,I refered to it as the in between because I was neither in hell nor heaven , but suddenly I was brought out of my thoughts by a sudden white light popping up right in front of me , the light was magnificent It shone like a white star in the darkness of space then it spoke bringing me out of my stupor .

    "Are you going to stare at me forever my child "said an elderly tone

    "Forgive me " I responded immediately ,I just remembered it was rude to stare at some one

    "Of course it is rude to stare at some one "the elderly tone commented

    "You can read my mind ?" I questioned I was surprised at the power of this being

    He surely is god

    "Your ?ssumption is correct I am god "he replied nonchalantly

    He did it again I thought

    "I''ve been watching you for all your life Cade black even though you were bedridden for most of your life you were a happy kid,never taking out your anger and frustration on others around you , for people had what you didn''t and that was freedom " he said

    I couldn''t argue about that , I knew I was imprisoned . Imprisoned by a diseases that left my body very frail and weak and my only escape was death

    "Don''t be said my son I will grant you three wishes but you can''t wish to be brought back in the real world .Even if you never got a chance to truly live your life the way you wanted then, but I''m giving you this chance now so will you accept."

    I was thinking on this, it wasn''t a bad deal I could be in one of my anime''s I love so much, a chance to live my life freely not held down by sickness or anything else.

    " I accept " I replied

    "Then, make your wishes ." said god

    "If that''s so then For my first wish I would like to be reincarnated in one piece 8 years after luffy''s birth on dawn island, for my second I would like to be reborn as obito uchiha when he was fourteen years old .for my third wish I would like to have his steel gunbai , a closet of his clothes and masks he wore in naruto shippuden and the rinnegan in my left eye."

    God was quiet for a few seconds before responding.

    "Your wishes can be fulfilled but only through hard work will you be able to awaken these eyes and truly use its powers for if your body is weak it will never be able to withstand the chakra consumption of the sharingan much less the power of the rinnegan."

    I nod my head in understanding I never wanted anything to be easy or handed down to me anyway I .

    "It seems we have an understanding then ,I will see you again one day Obito uchiha " god replied in a mocking tone

 Chapter 2 - Dawn Island

    "Ahhh" I ?r??n?d out softly holding my head in pain, it seems like I left the black void , as the dirt I was now laying in confirmed my suspicions and I was also surrounded by tall trees and bushes , it seems I''m somewhere in a forest.

    I slowly stood up and looked on my clothes which were a dark blue robe with a tall stand up collar which Obito wore at the time he killed the Kiri anbu''s, completed with blue ninja sandals with the toes exposed.

    I then looked at my right arm which was now purely whiter than the color of my skin showing that it was made up entirely of hashirama cells, I could feel the strength and power within my right arm , the hashirama cells really enhances the body I thought . I then moved on to my face which I was now slowly touching ,on the right side of my face the skin felt twisted and scarred badly , well I didn''t have a problem with this scar , because behind every scar there is a story and it also makes me look cool.

    As I finished observing the changes to my new body I looked around and I saw my Steel Gunbai , six tomoe patterns engraved on its white surface three on the left and three on the right side of the face of the giant war fan with a chain attached to the end of the handle.

    I slowly walked towards it and picked it up .

    I wrapped the other end of the chain around my right arm firmly which was now hid inside my cloak and placed the gunbai on my back I don''t know how madara waved this thing around as if it''s made of paper the gunbai weighed at least 25 pounds it doesn''t feel heavy but it has some weight to it . As I secured the gunbai on my back safely and was about to walk away I saw a small black box close to where I found the gunbai .

    I was curious about what was inside because even though I asked god for the clothes obito wore during naruto shippuden they were nowhere to be found .

    As I picked up the box then opened it I saw an black akatsuki ring with a small kanji written on the red surface meaning war . I just remembered that akatsuki members wore rings like these during their time in the organization.

    As I placed the ring on my left index finger I was suddenly bombarded with memories, memories of Obito''s training when he was a genin and his training in the uchiha fighting style and different jutsus of the uchiha clan, and even as I was being bombarded with his memories of his training I could feel them being engraved in my bones as if I was taught this since I was very young and there was this feeling as if there was a small flame in my heart carrying veins of energy all over my body it didn''t burn but it felt comfortable as it was part of me all along I was contemplating what this energy was then I realized it was ,"Chakra!" I muttered out

    The energy of shinobi and every living creature in the naruto world.

    As the memory transfer stopped my body felt lighter and stronger,i felt like a real ninja. If was to say how strong i was right now it would be chunin level for sure my chakra supply was not very high but with training, meditation and the hashirama cells the supply will increase eventually.

    As I was thinking on my chakra reserve I failed to feel that my eye felt different my vision of insight was increased almost everything seemed slow before these eyes I was surprised I didn''t expect to activate the sharingan without training especially a two tomoe one to be exact .

    It seems I''m all set let''s explore the island now I thought as I shushined away

    As I was jumping from branch to branch through the forest for approximately ten minutes, i heard two familiar voices close by I made my way towards the noise where i saw an old man beating a little kid , keeping a safe distance away as I hid in some bushes and watched the antics unfold before .

    "Itaaaaaaai!" (It hurts) shouted a small snot nosed brat with a straw hat on his back , he had a scar under his left eye and his hands was grabbing his head in pain as he rolled on the ground.

    "Shut up you brat you''ll become a marine not a pirate !" Garp exclaimed . As he turned his head looking at some nearby bushes .

    Even though I knew Garp found me with his observation Haki the moment I hid in the bushes I didn''t want to confront him yet I''m waiting for him to make the first move, he was always an impatient anyway man.

    Garp pov

    I was going to give this snot nosed brat another fist of love then I sensed it, it moved silently like one of those ninjas I heard about in wano, and even though I sensed that he didn''t want to harm me or luffy not that It could . As luffy was on the ground groaning I turned my head towards the bushes where he was hiding .

    "Come out I know your in there"

    Pov end

    " You are very perceptive Jiji I said using my original obito voice (pls note:I''ll change up my voice once in a while to mislead people )

    Luffy who was groaning on the ground suddenly stopped and looked in my direction and was now curious about the new comer who wore a dark blue cloak ,a orange swirly mask covering his face with one eye hole which was on the left, his hair was a onyx black and spiky which rested on his shoulders and to luffy he was kinda scary.

    "bwahahhaahaa! It seems snot nosed brats in these days don''t know how to respect their elders, it seems you want a taste of my fist of love" said Garp as he vanished and appeared in front of obito immediately. Obito couldn''t even track his movements with his eyes even though he didn''t activate his sharingan and so the punch landed squarely on his head "kunk!", obito fell on one knee with both hands rubbing his head trying his best not to scream out from the pain , no wonder luffy was scared of Garp .

    Garp saw this and replied in a mocking tone ,"it seems like you would love another fist of love " with a smug smile and before he could delivered another obito stood up quickly both hands raised in the air,

    "I surrender, my apologies jiji san !" Obito exclaimed quickly

    "Bwahhaahhaha ! I like your tone now brat, but I''m monkey d Garp a vice admiral of the marines and what may I call you " said garp while he was picking his nose

    Obito frowned behind his mask at garps careless action but replied nonetheless," I''m uchiha obito and to think I would meet the notorious hero of the marines on a island in the east blue " replied obito as he removed his mask .

    Garp was surprised when he saw obito''s face the right side of his face was badly scarred and the left side was perfectly fine , it was like looking at a portrait of two opposite things side by side but it didn''t make him ugly even though his face was scarred even luffy was surprised but it was rude to ask a person about his scar especially one you just met . So he didn''t ask him about it but asked him a different question . "What are you doing so far in the mountains don''t you know there are bandits up here that rob and kidnap people? Questioned garp

    " I can more than protect myself, but I heard that you were here in the mountains and I wanted to become a marine and what better way is there to be introduced into the marines than through one of the strongest men in it''s entire headquarters ". Garp was there scratching his head embarrassingly and smiling from the compliment even though the kid in front of him showed little emotion on his face he knew more than well how to compliment someone.

    "Bwahahaaha if you truly want to become a marine I''ll be here training luffy for four months before returning to headquarters where you can accompany me by then, so are you up for it?" Said garp

    "I''m always ready Garp San " obito replied while he placed the mask back on his face.

    "Then join me here tomorrow at 6am we will start training then " said garp as he grabbed luffy and placed him on his shoulders. Luffy was just eight years old but he was small just the same as in the anime I was wondering where ace was but probably he was with sabo causing trouble.

    I nodded and walked in the direction I came from while garp walked off supposedly heading in the direction of dadan''s house.

 Chapter 3 - Training

    As i left and was returning to center of the forest where i woke up , i realised that i didn''t have anywhere to stay. Well it didn''t matter as long as i have the hashirama cells i could make a small wooden cabin but it would probably bring down my chakra reserves to a low and i''ll be completely exhausted before even training starts tomorrow , well it''s better than sleeping outside I thought.

    As I reached the clearing where I first arrived I did the five hand seals which I got from obito''s memories: snake >rat>ox>ram>snake ,"wood style: four pillar house jutsu !", I then slammed both my hands into the ground. The ground started shaking and a wooden house started to emerge from it .

    As the wooden house materialized fully i could see it was a one story wooden house it had four large windows on each side and a sliding door at the front which I entered through, as I entered the house and saw inside,it wasn''t too bad there was a wooden platform that would serve as a bed, a small kitchen, a small bathroom , and a closet. Before I could proceed with checking the rest of the house the effects of using so much chakra started and my body became exhausted, but due to the hashirama cells I could withstand the exhaustion for at least two minutes . Without wasting anymore time I released the chain of the gunbai that was attached to my hand and placed the gunbai in a corner close to the wooden platform which served as a bed.

    And with that i layed on the bed and drifted off to sleep.

    Next day ˇ­..

    It was now 5 am and I was already up,I already went foraging for fruits and natural seasonings to make my breakfast with, I even found some bird eggs which I then brought back to the house with different ?ssortments of fruits and natural seasonings .I fried my eggs in the kitchen which I ate with some fruits and drank some fresh fruit juice which I squeezed from some of the fruits.

    As I finished my breakfast ,it was time to take a bath, I rushed down to the stream nearby and took a quick bath the water was very cold but due to chakra circulating in my veins I was kept warm .

    I got out of the stream and returned to my house where I placed on my dark blue cloak my one eye hole orange spiral mask , my left eye was perfectly fine and not missing like in the canon for obito so I don''t know why I always wore this one eye hole mask, probably it''s just in my nature I thought as I placed it on .

    I then secured the gunbai to my back , it''s time I thought as I shushined out the house.

    Somewhere in the forest a tall muscular old man was leaning on a tree seemingly waiting for someone

    Garp POV

    That brat obito i told him 6 am and it''s 5:55 am he''s going to get a fist of love when he gets here , as I was in my thoughts, I saw obito, he casually walked out of the bushes as if he wasn''t almost late , the orange mask on his face hiding this facial expression but you could see his left eye through the eye hole but even his eye remained stoic. "So your finally here obito I thought you chickened out, bwahhaaha" his eye twitched after I said this but kept his composure nonetheless it seems he knows how to hide his emotions very well,what a scary brat".

    I wanted to ask him this question the last time we met but I forget so it''s best to ask him before we start the training.

    "To bring true peace to the world. As a marine you''ve already seen the condition the world is in, pirates running around looting burning, raping , causing carnage and rampage everywhere they go and I wish to stop this and the only way peace can be achieved is through war. War on the pirates and criminals who wish to destroy all that''s good in this world and Disrupt the balance of life".as he gaze into my eyes unflinching.

    This kid I thought , I was surprised at the way he spoke he sounded almost like a elderly man , if asked a normal kid why he wanted to become a marine they would say to kill pirates, or because we look cool and to bring justice and all those simple answers but obito he''s clearly smarter than he seems.

    And for some reason I believed what he was saying .

    "obito you brat do you think that you can bring peace to the world with your meager strength 500 push ups and 500 squats, bwahahaha"

    His eye twitched again after what I said but he started to follow my orders nonetheless.

    He removed what seems to be a large fan like weapon off his back and leaned it up on a tree and started to do the push ups.

    POV end

    I started doing the the push ups garp gave me , and from the memories that I got from obito when he was training in the academy and with Madara five hundred push-ups was not extreme. Rock lee did at least a thousand push ups with weights on his legs.

    So I completed the push ups in 3o minutes and the squats in 30 minutes as well and my arms and legs were visibly shaking . But I held on I didn''t falter at this level of training was just beginning .

    Just you wait old man I thought

    I proceeded to do as he said as I got down in a push-up stance.

    2 hours later

    I completed the 1000 squats and push ups garp ordered me to do and I was now panting heavily while laying on the ground staring at the sky watching the beautiful white clouds slowly passing over.

    "You know a big part of training is also a balanced meal" said garp bringing me out of my stupor as he pulled a larger boar from behind some bushes and a sack as well which I''m sure we''re full of fruits.

    When did this guy catch this I was sure he didn''t move from this position I thought .

    "Oi Oi swirly so you''re training with grandpa garp too" said luffy

    I visibly twitched at the nickname this brat proceeded to call me by, and garp was at the side seemingly laughing at the name luffy called me but didn''t interfere.

    I gave luffy one of obito''s death stares but the brat was carelessly staring into my eyes while digging his nose not even flinching at my gaze. This brat he truly was chosen by luck I thought then I replied to him "my name is not swirly it''s obito "

    "Obito"I corrected

    "Obedo" he said again.

    " obito" I corrected again, I was getting annoyed by this bastard.

    Garp was at the side still laughing at luffy''s antics which caused me to visible grunt.

    "Oi luffy you should follow obito here eventually you two will become good marines in the future" said garp as he was slowly roasting the boar over the fire.

    "No I won''t become a stupid marine I will become the pirate king!"the ediot proceeded to shout in front of garp nonetheless .

    "You fool you will become a marine!"shouted back garp as he slammed a fist on his head. And the antics continued after that

    10 hours later

    3 figures were around a fire, two were seated talking,while another was splayed on his back snoring with a large belly in front of him, this was luffy.

    "I''m not soulless garp San " I replied with a small smirk on my face .

    I took off my mask earlier in the day when I was training so it''s kinda comfortable not having it on all day.

    "Garp San it''s getting late I better head home" I said as I stood up

    "I''ll see you tomorrow then "replied garp as he picked up a sleeping luffy and placed him on his shoulders.

    I then walked off heading in the direction of my home tomorrow will be a new day and another step closer to reaching my goal.

 Chapter 4 - Training part 2

    Training under garp for the past few days wasn''t easy, he would come home exhausted , bruised and some times with his clothes torn apart due to the wild beast garp would let him , luffy and ace fight . But never once did he relent or give up he remembered that only with power can he truly rule this world and one of the best ways to do it was through the marines . Even though he told garp he wanted to bring peace to the world that was only half of it he wanted to rule this world he wanted to sit on the world government''s so called empty throne, he will bring an end to piracy and slavery and correct the wrongs of the foolish five elders.

    So he trained every day except for Sunday and Saturday.

    Even though his physical strength was improving due to garp''s training, his chakra b?r?ly moved to high chunin level and he was now doing different jutsus to try to increase his chakra reserve.

    On a empty beach far away from civilization you could see a Figure wearing a dark blue cloak with black shinobi sandals.

    He was blew out a huge fireball towards the sea evaporating all the water in its path . Large amount of steam rose up in the air, spanning at least 20 meters wide.

    "Fire style : Fire ball jutsu !" Shouted obito

    As he spew out another 4 meter wide ball of flame towards the water.

    "This is exhausting "obito thought

    6 fireballs and that was his limit , if he could just increase his chakra reserves more he could be high Jonin level by the time garp was ready to leave for marine headquarters .

    Obito laid down flat on his back breathing heavily as he stared at the clouds passing over head.

    He was thinking about his strength so far , ace was 11 years old and luffy 8 both were now physically capable of fighting ?du?ts , especially ace .But he was stronger than ace, but not by a landslide , if he was to rank ace at ninja level he would get high be chunin level due to his physical strength and speed , and even though ace might not possess chakra he was more than capable of taking on low level ninjas if he was placed in the naruto world , but alas what should he expect if a monster like garp was teaching them he couldn''t expect anything less.

    Thoughts aside obito got up and started his taijutsu training, the uchiha fighting style was one of the most powerful taijutsu styles in the naruto universe and if he could master it to the level that Madara did , it would improve his skills 10 folds.

    Obito performed hand seals and four identical clones appeared in a puff of smoke , all of them pulled out Kunais and surrounded the real obito , each one at a cardinal direction.

    "Begin" obito said,then his clones charged .

    The clone 1 to the north threw his kunai at obito, which obito dodged effortlessly by tilting his head to the side , he then brought up his gunbai to block a kick from clone 2 who approached him from the south , obito swung his gunbai flinging clone two away about ten meters but clone 2 flipped in mid air then landed on his feet safely , just as he did that clone 3 attacked from the right by throwing multiple shurikens at obito which he started to deflect with his scythe, his sharingan spinning wilding pinpointing the trajectory of the shurikens as he deflected them with his scythe .

    Meanwhile he was doing this clone 4 attacked him from the left delivering a punched to his now turnt back , just before the punch could land obito blocked it with his gunbai immediately but it stilled pushed him back a few meters .

    As obito came to skidding stop he looked up at the clones that were now in front of him, obito smiled a little, it was a small smile, a smile Madara would wear when he was having fun when he was fighting .

    "Shall we continue" said obito darkly ,as he then rushed towards the four clones.

    Two days later

    At the top of a mountain on Dawn Island, You could hear screams and gunshots ring out through a mountain bandit camp. Fire engulfed tents all over the camp and clouds of smoke rose into the night sky.

    "Mercy I beg you , mercy" pleaded a bandit before he was cut down my a steel scythe blood now splashing all over the ground, another bandit saw his fellow get killed and fired a few gunshots nervously at the attacker only for it to be stopped by a steel war fan .

    The bandit shot all the bullets at the war fan until his gun was empty , he started to shake when he saw a red eye stare at him as the war fan was now brought down from his face.

    "Wha wha want do you want from us?"the bandit on the ground stuttered

    " Want from you ?" Obito said rhetorically

    The dark voice of obito further caused the bandit to shake in fear .

    "Does the strong need a reason to bully the weak? The strong will always prey on the weak and that has been a law since the beginning of time , just as you bandits attack merchants and passing travelers", said obito in his dark tone

    And before the bandit could retort obito sliced open his ?h?st with his scythe killing the bandit instantly.

    And a few minutes later the slaughter continued . Even though he was on a mountain he was far away from civilization and no one could hear the carnage taking place at the bandit camp, they could probably see the smoke yes but no one from the villages or the town could hear the screams of dying men.

    Two weeks later

    News of the extermination of the mountain bandits was spreading all over dawn island , one of the bandits obito let go spread the news , and as they say dead men tell no tales ,so atleast one had to be left alive.

    The bandit told tales of how the red eyed demon killed his fellow mates and burned down their camp some skeptical pirate captain laughed and bragged about the red eye demon being just a weak fool, who could only defeat weak mountain bandits and not strong pirates like him and his crew.

    Fear started to spread between pirates all over dawn island , and most pirate crews opted to leave the island and some braver ones stayed but within a few days were never see or heard from again.

    One month later

    The news of the read eyed demon or masked oni made its way all over the east blue.

    The royals of Goa kingdom tried to get in touch with the so called red eyed demon or in Japanese ( akai me no akuma,pls note: I shortened the name and it''s now akaikuma).

    The royals wanted to have the red eyed demon as a bodyguard or within their employ but unfortunately no one knew who he was, except for a few who kept his identity secret, and that was garp and mayor woop slap of foosha village, garp was not pleased at how obito killed pirates and bandits mercilessly but he was veteran and saw the horrible things pirates and bandits could commit but nonetheless he didn''t stop obito from cleaning the pirates from his home island.

    Woop slap was grateful for obito , he defended the village from passing pirates and bandits and no criminal would even wonder in the vicinity of Foosha village.

    But even though obito was purging pirates and bandits from the island it was all part of his training and within the next three months he we would leave for marine headquarters at high jonin level of strength and chakra level.

 Chapter 5 - Marine Headquarters

    Four Months later

    A masked figure could be seen standing on the dog figure head of a marine warship ,he had on a orange swirly mask with one eye hole, which was on the right side of his mask.

    He was wearing a long collared black cloak with red clouds on it and under that cloak was a long sleeve black ninja shirt and a long sleeve black ninja pants that covered his ankles and he wore black shinobi sandals to match his outfit .

    The figure had short spiky raven black hair and to the left of his head you could see the handle of the gunbai pointed upwards. This figure was obito.

    Four months have passed and obito is now 15 years old , four years older than ace and 7 years older than luffy ,obito was now at high jonin level as it relates to chakra, strength and taijutsu .

    Two weeks have gone by since they started they''re journey to Marineford, the ship already went through the massive gates of justice earlier this morning and they were to arrive at headquarters within 15 minutes .

    As obito was staring emotionlessly at the waves he heard garp speak.

    "Bwahahaaha obito aren''t you hot in all that black clothes " mocked garp

    Even though garp knew obito might not react to some things , he wasn''t soulless or a robot and he could get annoyed easily if you knew how to rile him up.

    Obito''s eyebrows twitched in annoyance but he didn''t reply to garps taunting and continued to stare at the waves.

    "Not talking huh, are you mourning the dead because only people who mourn the dead wear so much black and are so quiet bwahahahaa" garp mocked again.

    This bastard obito thought as his whole body twitched in annoyance

    Rear admiral bogard watched on stoically at garps antics, bogard was the right hand man of garp and was always there with garp when they were on a mission.

    Bogard didn''t know what to think of obito sometimes , he mostly remains stoic , and his only visible eye hardly shows any emotion, obito may not be as strong as him but with the training they did over the weeks he knew that he had talent , not as high as aokiji ,akainu or kizaru when they were younger but his talent was high. He fought differently than himself and garp or any other pirate or criminal he encountered , opting to use what he said was his clan''s fighting style and bogard had to say his fighting style was deadly , It hardly left any openings if fully mastered but obito clearly lacked the strength and speed to fully master such fighting style .

    Bogard was brought out of his thoughts when a sergeant came to him and spoke

    Bogard nodded and walked towards the laughing garp

    "Garp san we''re approaching headquarters" said bogard to the laughing garp

    "Bwahahaha obito it seems I can introduce you to sengoku sooner than I thought " said garp

    30 minutes later

    Sengoku''s office

    "Boom !" The wall beside sengoku''s office door was destroyed

    "Bwahahahahaha sengoku I''m back "said garp as started to dig his noise

    "Garp you bastard can''t you use the door!" shouted sengoku as he slammed his hands on his desk

    "Bwahahaha sengoku I just came back to base and I wanted to show you my new student I brought in " said garp as he took a seat in the couch

    "Where did this recruit come from to catch your eye? Asked sengoku exasperated

    "Bwahahaha I found him on my island when I was taking my vacation a few months ago and I''ve been training him with my grandsons since then but I think you know him he''s become quite the celebrity in the east blue , bwahahaha" garp commented

    Sengoku was now intrigued, he was hearing news of a pirate killer akaiakuma or red eyed demon that was in the east blue but didn''t focus on him , he was a pirate killer and sengoku didn''t really focus on such a person, once he didn''t commit any crimes he could do as he wished so sengoku didn''t investigate this so called akaiakuma, but could this be who garp was talking about.

    "Oi obito get in here " said garp

    Instead of walking through the hole that was made in the wall by garp he walked through the door .

    "Bwahahaha obito you bastard !" laughed garp

    Obito slightly bowed as he stood in front of sengoku''s desk

    Sengoku stared at the young man now in front of him , he was surprised , his only visible right eye behind his odd looking orange mask held almost to no emotion.

    As sengoku continued to stare at obito .

    "Fleet Admiral Sengoku, I am uchiha obito " said obito as he stared stoically at the fleet admiral.

    " Recruits we have a new member joining us today his name is obito uchiha, he is from east blue''s dawn island and will be training with us until graduation, " said zephyr

    Obito made his way to the front where all the recruits could see him, his lone visible right eye staring emotionlessly through his mask .

    All the recruits stared at obito , most were slightly unnerved by the way he looked , he gave off a slight aura of death and despair .

    Smoker who was also from the east blue heard of the red eyed demons description they say he was a pirate and bandit killer on dawn island and wore a wooden mask with only one eyehole , they say his eye would glow bright red when he was killing his enemies, and other than not seeing this so called red eye smoker put two and two together and realized that this was the red eyed demon. The young man infront of him was in the standard marine recruit uniform which seemingly does not look good on him, bandages were wrapped around his right arm from his fingertips to his shoulder and there was a large war fan on his back with a chain attached to it.

    " obito join the line we''re going to start rokushiki training" said zephyr

    "Now today we''ll be practicing the rokushiki technique soru or (shave )" said teacher

    Obito being the intellectual genius had already read up on all the rokushiki techniques and he wanted to master all of them, especially soru ,tekkai and rankyaku .

 Chapter 6 - Commodore Obito

    "Wait, wait ! the hideout is on the northeastern coast of the island , please don''t kill me !" Pleaded the pirate

    "If what you say is true then your life will be spared , van augur scout the north eastern part of the island, see if our pirate friend here is telling the truth" said obito

    "It will be done captain" replied augur

    "You , take this pirate scum to base and see that he''s locked up in a cell" ordered obito as he pointed at a marine

    " Yes sir !" Bellowed the marine

    "To your feet pirate scum !" Shouted the marine as he proceeded to drag the marine off the ground and placed metal hand cuffs on his hands.

    One hour later

    Marine base

    Obito was sitting behind his desk finishing up some paper work when augur entered his office ,van augur was his very first special recruit. He found him 2 years ago when he was sent by vice admiral Doberman to hunt down and arrest some pirates on silk island in the east blue , and when obito arrived on silk island all the pirates were killed by augur, and augur spouting his fate nonsense said that it was fate that he was to join him,so obito recruited him into the marines plus he wouldn''t dare let such a talented sniper like augur join the Blackbeard pirates in the future .

    If augur didn''t want to join the marines he would''ve kill him then and there. Luckily the man chose the latter.

    "Captain, what the pirate said was true the long beard pirates have camped on the northeastern shore of the island" reported augur

    "Well then it seems we have another pirate crew to dispose of, prepare the garrisons " said obito darkly

    Augur nodded and left .

    Logue Town was very large and patrolling the entire polestar island was next to impossible with only 150 marines .

    Ace had already evaded him and entered the grand line with his pirate crew a few months ago, he knew ace would start his journey when he turned 17 but he didn''t know where he was hiding while he was on polestar island , and ace clearly knew he was the commander of the marine base in Logue town and opted to avoid him .

    Ace should be 18 by now and he turned 22 not too long ago, if he was correct ace should be half way through the grand line by now .

    2 hours later

    Northeastern section of polestar island

    Long beard pirate hideout

    "Captain!, Hugo and the others haven''t arrived with the supplies " reported the pirate lackey

    "Those bastards, I knew they would idle around, I''ll kill them when they arrive no one should keep the great long beard jack waiting !" declared long beard.

    Long beard was a very ugly looking pirate, he had crooked yellow teeth , a large cross scar on his fore head and He was dressed in a black captain overcoat with a yellow epaulets on the shoulders, and he also wore black pants with a large scimitar like sword at his waist and obviously he had a long grey beard which stopped at his waist.

    " Captain I don''t think Hugo would dare let you wait, probably he encountered some Marines on the waˇ­"

    Before long beard and the other pirates could react to this he heard a shout

    "Attack!" Shouted a marine sergeant as marines poured of the bushes they were hidden in and started to attack the surprised pirates.

    Boom !

    Aaaaah !

    Screams could be heard all over the area .

    "You damn marines your no match for me !" Roared long beard as he cut down three marines simultaneously and was proceeding bring down his scimitar on another.

    But before he could finish off the marine his scimitar made contact with a steel scythe

    "You " long beard said in a surprised tone as he backed away

    "Long beard jack , captain of the long beard pirates ,you will die today"said obito

    "Hahaha do you think I fear you like those other weakling pirates, I have a bounty of 60 million berries"declared long beard

    " Then you will die braver than most" said obito menacingly.

    Obito slashed diagonally releasing a large red sword energy from his scythe which sped towards long beard , who managed to dodge it narrowly by jumping to the side.

    Obito activated his sharingan immediately , predicting where long beard would be , he did hand signs within a second , "burn away and die, fire style: Great fire ball jutsu !" Said obito menacingly as he spew out a large 8 meter wide fireball which sped towards long beard''s position burning away everything in its path, long beard couldn''t even dodge out of the way due to the speed of the fire and he was engulfed in flame .

    Boom!

    "Ahhhhahh"

    His screams resonated through out the battle field pirates and marines now turning towards the screaming man , but his screams stopped after a few moments and the pirate captain Fell limp to the ground now dead.

    And when the fire died down only a charred husk was left of the pirate captain.

    " Arrest them all " said obito

    Two weeks later

    Obito was ordered back to headquarters.

    News of the long beard pirates defeat and capture spread all over the seas.

    Even though fifty million was not high compared to new world pirates it was the highest in the east blue ,which was said to be the weakest sea and someone with that large bounty would be very strong so other pirates would avoid long beard as best as possible.

    The name red eye spread even more and he was feared by many pirates and The marines credibility has even risen since the incident

    " He should be promoted to commodore and continue to safeguard Logue town , its an important hub for pirates and him being there would deter many pirates from going to polestar island, let''s call sengoku and inform him of this "said the long white beard gorosei

    Sengoku sighed , obito was getting another promotion he thought .

    Over the years obito has made a name for himself within the marines and not even akainu would complain about or disregard his loyalty towards the marines, obito had no faults he never disobeyed or questioned any orders given. And most high ranking marines had good things to say about him.

    His mask was unnerving to most marines yes but they would be happy when they were ?ssigned to obito''s ship or base .

    " Obito get in here " said sengoku

    The door to his office opened revealing the masked man , his right eye only visible through his mask and was calm always .

    "fleet admiral"obito saluted then removed his mask

    "Obito your being promoted to commodore, here is your commodore coat , I will fill out the paper works and make sure it goes through the system", said sengoku as he handed obito a new marine overcoat with red epaulettes

    "Thank you fleet admiral " said obito

    "Don''t thank me obito , you have done well and more than earned your rank , I wish other young marines would fight for justice like you " said sengoku feeling proud of obito.

    Obito slightly bowed at his words showing appreciation and was about to say something but Before obito could reply to sengoku , the door opened revealing a laughing garp with a rice cracker bag in one hand .

    "Obito you brat you''ve forgotten your old teacher already huh, maybe this would jog your memory "said garp as he slammed a fist on the young man''s head

    "Garp San I saw you a few hours ago , not a year"grumbled obito as he rubbed his head

    " Bwahahaha obito I know , I just wanted to knock you on the head " said garp

    " garp you bastard ! " shouted sengoku as he grabbed the bag of crackers out of garps hand and proceeded to eat them

    Obito seeing the antics unfold before him felt awkward being in between and he slowly left sengoku''s office.

    As he left the office shutting the door behind him he mumbled , " another step closer to power".

 Chapter 7 - Commodore Inspector

    2 years later.

    After Commanding the marine base of logue town for 3 years , turning the place into the pirates worst nightmare most pirates opting not to go there , and if they did they would hide far from his sights.

    High command saw his talents in serving as a base commander and capturing venturing pirates so they gave him the new rank of Commodore inspector .

    And with that rank came a medium size battleship in which he heavily modified , removing the short barrel cannons on his ship and designing longer barrel artillery which fired sleek arrow head like projectiles instead of the round cannon balls, all of this paid for by confiscated funds from pirates and bounties.

    Even Dr vegapunk worked with obito in creating better cannons for the marine ships and better guns , these cannons could could fire at a much longer range with better accuracy and more destructive force behind them.

    But as the commodore inspector of the east blue obito had a hard task , he was required to visit almost every branch and base of the marines in the east blue . Fortifying the branches by giving base commanders pointers on how to increase it''s survivability if they were attacked , ensuring the bases was properly supplied with soldiers , food and weapons which he would put in an order for through marine headquarters, looking out for traitorous and corrupt marines but most importantly ensuring that marines carried out their duties properly.

    A Few weeks ago he along with garp got a call from a marine base on shell island regarding captain axe hand morgan.

    The captain was abusing his power and kept harassing the civilians of the island , something that wouldn''t be allowed within the marines if it weren''t for garp being there obito would have killed Morgans then and there but alas he was being brought to impel down by garp.

    Now he continued his inspection of the east blue, he went at syrup village where he , met captain Hina, she was arresting the remnants of the black cat pirates , along with their captain kuro who was presumed to be dead over all these years.

    They were Clearly beaten up by another pirate crew, which the people of syrup village knew about but refrained from revealing their names to obito , or the marines overall ,but obito knew who they were already .

    The Strawhat pirates

    Luffy already started his journey and was now gathering crew members to enter the grand line .

    And if obito was right he just got usopp and should be at the baratie by now with nami , after they defeated the buggy pirates in orange town .

    If he left now he could confront them within four hours.

    "Release all the sails full speed ahead" ordered obito .

    Unlike the round looking marine ships his own looked more like a galleon but 3 times larger . It look more like a pirate ship than the normal marine ship you would see but the marine crest was emblazoned into all of the sails and the ship was painted in dark blue and white .

    The slender and straight surface area of the base of the ship made it easier to move through the waves of the sea having a top speed of 40 knots beating the regular marine ship which travelled at a speed of 30 even with their propellers on.

    That would be for a next time though ,he should concentrate on cleaning up the east blue and increasing his strength as it is.

    Speaking of strength he was now quasi kage level in chakra and was one of the best fighters from the elite camp as it relates to physical strength and fighting style , his marine six powers were top tier as well , already mastering the six techniques and the final technique rokugan . His rank was not for show and his power and strength could back that up .Although he didn''t acquire the mangekyo sharingan as yet he felt he was really close to its awakening and his mastery of the perfect completed 3 tomoe sharingan was superb.

    Baratie

    "Gomu Gomu no sledge hammer" shouted luffy as his intertwined out stretched legs slammed don krieg into the wooden structure of the baratie , knocking him out cold .

    " Don Krieg is defeated?"

    "But how?" questioned the spectators , they were clearly left surprised at these turn of events.

    " Are you going to stand there all day and stare ,or are you going to rescue him " said zeff to sanji as luffy fell into the water and was now sinking to the bottom of the sea. The disadvantages of a devil fruit.

    Two hours later

    Luffy left with sanji , both of them now travelling to cocoyashi village.

    "Owner zeff , a marine ship is heading towards the restaurant " said patty

    "Hmmm, is that so ? I hope they bring don krieg with them, I have enough garbage to get rid of already " said zeff

    "You know I can hear you old bastard !" Shouted the now awake and heavily chained krieg

    Veins visible bulging out of his forehead

    " So what does that have to do with me ?, we should''ve thrown you in the sea and let you drown ,after destroying half my restaurant " uttered zeff clearly getting annoyed by krieg

    And as the large marine ship came to a stop right beside the baratie , dozens of marines came off the ship most of them looking like warriors after fighting harsh battlesfrom the grand line , carrying guns swords and axes and at the front were two tall men .

    One wearing an orange mask with a black cloak with red clouds on it with a commodore coat draped over his shoulder showing his rank, and the other wore a white suit with a captain''s coat over his shoulders , a monocle was over his right eye and a rifle already in hand.

    Zeff focused on the man in the mask this could be no other than the red eyed demon now being called demon of the east obito , every one in the east blue heard of this marine . He was as ruthless as akainu cunning as a fox and most pirates who came across his path were either killed or rarely captured.

    And now this same marine was now infront of him .

    "It seems i''ve missed them again" said obito as he looks around the baratie

    " Marine san who might you be looking for ?" Questioned patty as he nervously rubbed his hands together

    Obito turned his gaze on the chef, making patty sweat .

    Then stared at the bound don krieg .

    " It seems i''ve been lucky , the ???kroach has finally revealed himself , ain''t that right don krieg" said obito as he his gaze became murderous

    Making the pirate captain shake in fear.

    Having him alive would be better than having him dead if news of his capture was spread my prestige and the marines would increase. Obito thought

    "Augur contact Captain Hina , tell her we''re requesting a prisoner transport to impel down , the prisoner being don krieg " said obito

    " It will be done commodore" said augur as he then walked back to the ship

    That would leave him with enough time resume his chase after luffy and to deal with Arlong pirates and the corrupt marines of 16th branch along with it''s captain Nezumi, Hina would possibly take 5-6 hours hours to arrive , most likely arriving the next morning but he''ll wait patiently.

 Chapter 8 - 16th Branch

    The next day

    Hina''s ship arrived the next morning and don krieg was transferred to it''s cells . After a few minutes of conversing with obito hina , sailed away from the baratie .

    Obito''s ship also left baratie, now headed towards the 16th marine branch of the east blue , estimated arrival time 2 hours with the help of strong winds. If not the use of the propellers would have to come into play.

    6 hours later

    16th branch marine base .

    "Captain Nezumi Tell me why would a civilian , specifically a female civillian attack a marine captain who''s job is to serve and protect? " asked obito as he sat in nezumi''s chair staring at the nervous accused.

    " Commodore obito the people of conami island have defied justice so many times, I went there to bring their criminal acts against the marines to light then they attacked me , now they''re working with pirates , the same pirates who defeated Arlong and his band of fishmen " said nezumi nervously

    "Is that so ?" Said obito as he stared at nezumi intensely making the man even more nervous.

    " Captain nezumi forced us to turn a blind eye towards the villagers of cocoyasi while the arlong fishman pirates killed and abused them. He took bribes from arlong himself , he illegally confiscated funds from the villagers declaring that it was obtained by criminal means . He killed innocents and abused his powers more times than often." Finished obito as he placed the papers on the desk .

    " And that was just from one marine, we''ve already seize the funds you confiscated and they will be returned to the perspective owners on conami island and you captain nezumi will be put to death, take him away have all the marines on the base present themselves in the square for his execution" I will make an example out of him. "Said obito to his marines guarding the traitorous captain

    "Please mercy commodore! , mercy !" Pleaded nezumi as he was dragged away by obito''s soldiers.

    "Sergeant bills get in here" ordered obito as the second in command of the marines 16th branch then entered the office .

    "I should have you executed as well for following the orders of a man that drags the marines name in the dirt. You could have done anything in your power to report these criminal acts committed by him to headquarters secretly without the traitorous captain finding out but you cared about your own skin than you do for others or the marines justice , your incompetent and don''t deserve to be in the marines , on the other hand i change my mind, take him away as well, he will be executed with nezumi" said obito as another pair of soldiers grabbed onto the sergeant and dragged him away.

    Obito then started a report to send to headquarters of the nezumi''s power abuse.

    One hour later

    Marine base square

    Two men could be seen tied to a wooden post blind folded and mouths clearly gagged with cloth.

    "We''ve gathered here today to see justice carried out , I hope from today onwards you will not follow in the path of greed and incompetence of captain nezumi or sergeant bills over there for their is only one place it leads to, and that is death . Take aim!" Said obito

    Then soldiers raised their weapons aiming at the two criminals

    "Fire"

    And the shots echoed throughout the marine base the soldiers fired two sets of shots , the second set to make sure the deed was done plus the 5.56 mm rounds of the M16 would bore through flesh and damage any thing that came in its path. So the two traitorous officers were deader than a doornail.

    After the execution obito prepared his ship , he was leaving to continue his inspection and was also returning the money stolen by nezumi to cocoyasi village and arrest arlong as well with a small marine battleship of 16th branch marines in tow that would help repair the village after he left

    Two hours later

    Cocoyasi village

    "Sheriff genzo marine ships have just docked at arlong park " reported the villager out of breath ,he was clearly tired from the running he did .

    Great genzo thought it wasn''t that long since the straw hat''s left the island and now nezumi is back again even after the beating he got.

    "Genzo san whats going on "? Questioned nojiko

    " nojiko , nezumi is back and with more marines than last time , but we will fight him off this time " declared the sheriff of cocoyasi village .

    " I wouldn''t do that if i were you , the marine captain nezumi has been executed earlier today with his accomplice for treason , you wont be seeing him again" said obito as he seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

    Sheriff genzo went wide eyed , that mask that cloak this was the infamous demon of the east obito.

    Nojiko seemingly new of the marine , after reading about him in the newspaper but to see him up close and on conami island was surprising. But even in her surprise she felt unnerved , his presence, the way he spoke coldly , that lone eye visible through the swirly orange mask seemed devoid of any emotion.

    The way he gazed at her briefly seemed as if he was looking at her soul , was this man a marine she thought.

    "I would also like to return what nezumi stole" said obito

    As more marines converged on his position with large wooden trunks , containing thousands of cash and gold coin beli

    Genzo was shocked at the sudden turn of events .

    "Tell me, where can i find Arlong ? Questioned obito he didn''t see the fishman and his accomplices at their destroyed headquarters so its either they got away or were captured and chained up by the villagers . He was positively sure Hacchan , and the others left arlong .

    "He''s in my prison cell chained up, but unfortunately his accomplices got away at least most did" said genzo ready to lead obito to his small police station.

    "Captain Augur transfer arlong to the ship , make sure he''s restrained properly he wont be seeing freedom for a very long time". Said obito

    "The marines of 16th branch will help rebuild your village and guard your island personally for the next two weeks, captain masaka see to it that this is done " said obito as he then turns to leave .

    "Thank you marine san " genzo muttered out .

    "I''m just doing my job" replied obito as he continued to walk off without looking back.

    A chained and unconscious arlong being dragged away by marines lead by augur in tow towards their commodore.

    Two hours later onboard the ship .

    "Where am i !" Growled a now awake arlong

    Arlong had to die , the hatred he has towards humans has brought his downfall , even though said hatred was warranted , because of what the humans did to his kind.

    Obito himself saw it first hand himself and helped where he could ,freeing some slaves whether human or fish man from slavers which came across his path , but overall it was out of his hand , slavery was a big part of this world and he knew he couldn''t stop it by himself and the little power he had wouldn''t either. For slavery to stop the buyers must be stopped and this was one of the reasons he wanted to rule the world , to correct its primitive flaws and purge the world of those who wish to place people in such horrible situations to use and sell them as cattle . He''s seen the way celestial dragons treat people , he been up close to them a few times and his first impressions of them weren''t good.

    "You human filth i''m talking to you!" Roared arlong

    Obito grabbed the fish man by the throat lifting him off the ground , his bound legs could not dangle over the wooden floor of the ship .

    The fishman was clearly being choked and started to wiggle like a worm.

    Obito squeezed his throat harder until a a resounding crack and crunch could be heard . The body became limp , his eyes bloodshot and almost bulging out of its sockets.

    He threw the now dead fishman over the stern of ship into the sea , the marines on board just looked on as if it was a normal day and common occurrence on the ship .

    Obito then stared at the sky .

    Luffy was heading to polestar island , it would be harder for him than in the canon to do so , even though I wasn''t commander of the base, its current overseer and captain is strict and harsh towards pirates even if he''s slightly more merciful than i am .

 Chapter 9 - Entering the Grand Line

    " so you''re saying dragon the leader of the revolutionary army rescued straw hat luffy" obito questioned

    To be fair obito wasn''t surprised he knew dragon would show up and save luffy from smoker .

    " Yes,that''s what happened " said smoker coolly as he lit another pair of cigarettes and started puffing out smoke in the office.

    Obito''s eyebrow twitched behind his mask , he was annoyed at this man''s lack of respect sometimes , he was the superior officer but smoker showed no respect at his rank , no wonder he got demoted very often .

    Smoker was at commodore rank twice but disobeying high commands orders got him demoted to commander and if he was right he would be demoted once again to captain for leaving logue town and pursuing the strawhat pirates.

    If this was any other marine obito would have punished him harshly but seemingly it was smoker he didn''t expect any less.

    Obito got up and left smoker''s office the marines at the door including smoker''s right hand ,sergeant tashigi saluted as obito left .

    Obito took a brief glance at her which made her wince ,but focused his gaze back on the hall way he was walking down. As obito disappeared down the corridor tashigi entered the office .

    "Swirly mask bastard " smoker mumbled as tashigi opened the door .

    Anytime smoker and the commodore met there was some argument, tashigi saw that there was no hostility or tensions between the two but they clearly had different ways of doing things .

    "Everything''s fine tashigi , prepare the ship were going to alabasta" said smoker calmly

    "But , but commander smoker we cant leave the base without someone in control" tashigi stammered out

    "Calm down tashigi i''lll leave the base in the hands of the captain while i''m gone" said smoker

    "Smoker san when headquarters hears of this they''ll surely demote you again for leaving your post " said tashigi trying her best to persuade the commander but she knew smoker always had his way

    " Tch, as if i cared what those old bastards at headquarters do" grumbled smoker

    "Just prepare the ship well be leaving by the end of the day" said smoker as he lunged in his chair and puffed out more smoke into the room

    Tahigi saluted and left

    Meanwhile

    "What!?" Said the rest of the strawhats as they arrived at luffy''s call and now stared at the large red mountains ahead of them

    "T-That''s insanely huge!" usopp exclaimed as his mouth was left a gaped

    "The entrance to the grand lineˇ­." said nami

    "So thats the red line, huh !?" Asked luffy a grin lining his face he was clearly getting excited for there new adventure

    "I -I can''t see the top because of the clouds!" stammered usopp

    "Nami where''s the entrance ?!" Asked sanji , he was clearly getting nervous , because the sea current was now pulling the ship closer towards the rocks

    Nami focused straight ahead looking closer through the mist for the entrance , she continued to look closely until she saw a crack in the cliff.

    " Direct the ship towards that crack !" She bellowed

    Which sanji and usopp did as they turned the rudder , lining the ship up towards the crack.

    "This cant be real , the damn ocean is going up the mountain " said zoro as he looked through the binoculars.

    Meanwhile calm belt

    As the the propellers pushed the marine ship forward through the sea king infested waters of the calm belt , obito stood on its bow looking towards the calm waters.

    This part of the sea was devoid of any winds to move sails or any sea current.

    Thats why most pirates opted to travel through the red mountains or red line , but still if you are weak the grand line is not a place for weaklings , its the graveyard of pirates and many other ships unfortunate enough to wonder in its domain.

    "Sergeant how long before we reach Alabasta" questioned obito without even turning to look.

    "A week at most , commodore if we continue to travel at current speed uninterrupted " said the sergeant.

    " Good" said obito coolly

    The marines didn''t use log pose or any of those thing that the pirates use to navigate the waters , instead the marines used maps with precise and accurate calculations to guide them to their destinations.

    "I''ll be in my quarters captain , inform me if anything comes up" obito says to augur as he walks off towards his quarters.

    "Yes commodore "said augur

    "If i want to improve my chakra levels some more meditation is best right now , my physical strength is very high , i could lift this ship with ease and i feel so close in awakening my mangekyo , when i reach the grandline fighting some strong pirates would do me good , but lets wait and see" said obito to himself.

 Chapter 10 - Arabasta

    "leave no corner unsearched the commodore wants every pirate within the city arrested" said sergeant Rade to his marines.

    It''s been three weeks since they came to Alabasta, the commodore took command of the marine base within the city of Alubarna , adding his forces to the local marine branch and carried out extended patrols within it''s walls. Most pirates would flee the kingdom if they heard even a whisper of the commodores name, or hid in the underbelly of the city while others were captured immediately. He wouldn''t expect nothing less from the commodore, ever since he was ?ssigned to the commodore''s ship , he only felt that justice couldn''t be carried out any better than how obito did it. The inspector looked after his men like any great leader would, he even trained the entirety of the crew even the chefs were trained in advance combat, and through harsh battles fought against pirates, bandits and slavers over the years , the crew of the commander became battle hardened warriors all trained in the similar fighting style the commodore uses.

    He himself was also close to fully mastering the marine six powers due to the help of the commodore and captain augur.

    He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard a marine reported to him, and from the looks of it said marine looked as if he saw a ghost , this marine was from the local branch so it was understandable if he was scared of weak pirates.

    "Sergeant rade , the strawhat pirates have been spotted fighting the executive officers of baroque works, and the rebel army is approaching the city!"

    "Baroque works" rade muttered with disgust , he knew of the bounty hunter organization, run by no other than crocodile the warlord , the notorious grandline pirate now under the umbrella of the world government. The inspector already informed him of the true nature of said organization and their dealings in underworld and the crimes committed by it''s agents.

    And to make matters worst the rebel army is now approaching the city , how he thought the rebel forces shouldn''t be here in until the next few weeks so how.

    "Is the commodore informed of this news?" asked rade, he kept himself calm and disciplined even at the dire problems they were soon to be in.

    ''Yes sergeant another marine has already reported to the commodore!" .

    Then what was the inspector going to do about this , there weren''t enough marines or soldiers in this city to hold off seven hundred thousand rebels. That''s if the numbers were true and weren''t exaggerated.

    Arabasta Marine base

    "So what are the orders commodore?" asked augur his face, stoic as ever with his monocle over his right eye.

    The executives of baroque works have revealed their true nature or at least the commodore found out their true motives other than being a so called bounty hunter organization.

    The baroque works under their leader crocodile incited rebellious activity against the kingdom, causing a civil war and framed the king of Arabasta, Nefertari Cobra.

    "We''ll do what we do best augur. You will take your garrison and arrest the baroque works executives , i''ll deal with crocodile and the strawhats myself" said obito calmly

    "And the rebels?"asked augur

    "when we take care of the main problems within the city, we can stop the fight that is soon to come between them and Arabasta''s soldiers." obito replied

    "Then it''s crocodile''s and the strawhat''s bad fate to have to fight you, i''ll take my leave commodore " augur said as he left to carry out his superiors order.

    obito stood up from his chair as the doors behind augur closed , he looked through the window of the office, there was clearly a lot of commotion going on in the city .

    two hours later

    Royal palace balcony

    "A person should value his life above all else, but it''s too late for regrets yes? And if you''re all going to die anyway I don''t have to bother killing you right? " said crocodile mockingly as he laughed while the effects of the fatal elixir took the lives of the four royal guards .

    " Behold the very definition of stupidity" uttered crocodile as he watched the four royal guards die from their own foolishness.

    "It seems you''re having fun here crocodile " a voice interrupted

    every one turn towards the voice only to see the marine commodore emerging from the stairs.

    Robin hesitantly took a step,back as she saw the commodore , it''s been two weeks since he''s been in arabasta, the marines couldn''t interfere with the dealings of the warlords or they''re subordinates so the commodore''s forces were only patrolling and capturing pirates within alubarna ( capital city of arabasta) . But now that cobra was visibly nailed to the wall arms clearly bleeding and his daughter vivi was here aswell.

    Crocodile frowned he couldn''t get out of this situation now , at least their was no point in hiding his schemes to the commodore anymore , the commodore clearly saw through them, he couldn''t bring up the warlord title again since , king cobra was clearly nailed to the wall with him at the scene.

    Obito has used a genjutsu to make crocodile ignore him ever since he came to alubarna, while the warlord was under his genjutsu thinking that obito wasn''t a problem he gathered evidence to prove the warlord''s betrayal against the marines and the crimes committed against arabasta and it''s royal family.

    Crocodile scowled at obito words

    "It wont be a problem, as long as I kill you and everyone here , then word of this will never get out" uttered crocodile as he readied himself to fight the marine

    "Fool, because you possess a logia devil fruit , you think you are invincible . I''ll teach you the error of you ways" obito said as he readied his gunbai and scythe

    but before the battle could begin

    "crocodiiiiiile!" shouted the newly arrived luffy , a large barrel attached to his back

    crocodile saw the teen now ready to throw a punch at him , but smiled knowing that it would go right through his body due to his logia fruit.

    But he was wrong, the punch connected to his face, flinging the warlord down off the roof he stood on, back to the ground.

    "You can''t turn into sand once you touch water .You take rain water away because you''re afraid of water, right?" said luffy as he squeezed the nozel of the hose attached to the barrel , water now soaking his arm.

    Luffy then turned and looked at the marine , there was an awkward silence for 5 seconds until luffy''s eyes left his sockets and mouth left a gaped.

    "Luffy you know the commodore?" asked vivi

    luffy nodded

    "He was trained by my grandpa alongside me and my brothers, but left after a year to join the marines " said luffy

    "It''s been a long time you brat" said obito

 Chapter 11 - Arabasta Part 2

    "long time no see you brat" said obito

    "I''ve been pursuing you and your crew for a long time now" said obito

    luffy started to sweat, the same guy that beat him and ace up back on dawn island is now right in front of him.

    " Ahh, obitooo could you act like you didn''t see me " said luffy as he scratched the back of his head and grinned

    "What!" everyone on the roof except obito exclaimed at the shameless and carefree attitude of luffy.

    obito wasn''t too phased at luffy''s antics because it was a common occurrence back on dawn island.

    "Luffy you fool, I am a marine you are a pirate , two complete opposites , this is not dawn island and after I deal with crocodile over there i''ll deal with you and your crew " said obito as he gazed at the warlord

    "Oh!, you swirly bastard, crocodile is mine. I''m the one who will kick his ?ss" proclaimed luffy

    "You fool, If you don''t want to move out of my way then I''ll deal with you first " said obito as he pulled out his gunbai.

    "I''ve heard that you were in Arabasta, but to think you would attack a warlord of your world government"

    "Accceee!" Luffy called out , a smile emblazoned on his face as he once again got to see his brother.

    " Crocodile is no longer under the umbrella of the world government , his crimes against arabasta and the world government have come to light and he shall be punished " obito replied.

    "Luffy go and deal with crocodile, i''ll take on the commodore over here" said ace as he stared at obito.

    " It seems you''ve still haven''t leaned your lesson ace , you can never defeat me"

    Ace smiled smugly then replied.

    "That was the case years ago obito when we were kids , but you shall see soon enough the power of a whitebeard pirate division commander "

    "Is that so? Then come I do not wish to destroy this place " declared obito as he then vanished

    "Wha!, where did he go ?" Asked vivi clearly shocked as the marine just vanished into thin air

    Ace frowned , the speed at which obito moved was easy to see for himself but to the n?k?d eye of untrained fighters or the weak it was impossible to see.

    Ace turned around and jumped off the palace balcony , and with the help of his flame flame fruit he followed obito quickly to the outskirts of the city.

    Outskirts of Alubarna

    "Ace , the use of your devil fruit is very impressive , to have such control over your devil fruit is commendable something most devil fruit users today have failed to do"

    " To get a compliment from someone like you is very rare obito , we may have trained together when we were younger bit don''t think i will take it easy on you" said ace

    "Pay no attention to the compliment for it is the last one you shall receive from me , so then let us begin.Divine judgement "muttered obito As he slashed down diagonally with his scythe releasing a large red sword energy which raced towards ace , cutting a line in the sandy ground as it made it''s way towards the pirate.

    Ace didn''t even move an inch , he was logia and an attack such as this had no effect on logia devil fruit users, the energy blade pass through his body harmlessly crashing in a sand dune behind him slicing it in two .

    Even though it could not hurt him, the power behind the pressurized air blade was no joke either if he wasn''t a logia he would''ve surely be split in half .

    Ace threw his thoughts aside and prepared to attack , red hot flames now emitting out of his left arm.

    "Hikken!" ace bellowed as a large fire fist raced towards obito , who quickly did hands signs."water style : water shockwave" said obito as a large column of water surrounded him and slammed against the fire fist .

    Large clouds of steam, and dust covered the entire area and rose dozens of meters in the air .

    Ace formed another large fire fist and punched at the now charging water dragon .

    "Boom!" The sound of the elemental powers slamming against each other released another large cloud of steam.

    An opening obito thought as he stood to the side and watched while ace dealt with the water dragon.

    While ace''s back was turnt obito appeared behind him and swung his haki coated gunbai at the exposed back of the pirate.

    Ace sensing it with his observation haki again didn''t have time to dodge , so he coated his back in armament haki to reduce the damage he was about to take .

    As the gunbai hit to it''s target , ace was hurled meters away , thrown out of the clouds of steam and mist that covered the area they fought in and crashing in a sand dune nearby .

    "That bastard knows haki" ace muttered as he got up to his feet , his body aching as hell . If he hadn''t covered his back with haki in time he would have received some serious damage.

    As he got to his feet the figure of his opponent walked out of the steam and mist .

    "Surprised aren''t you ? Haki is such a useful ability when it comes to dealing with pirates with logia devil fruit " said obito

    " You''ve travelled the new world countless times as a pirate so you should know that captain level and higher within the marine ranks knows about the power of haki , it''s not something secretive as most would think " said obito his tone as condescending and cold as always.

    "Well I can''t say that i am not impressed with your armament haki, but I am the second division commander of the whitebeard pirates trained by the strongest man in the world we shall see who''s haki is stronger" declared ace as he cover his fist in haki a dark metallic glow shone off his arms , obito did the same but covered his scythe and gunbai in haki instead.

    " Then let us dance " said obito as he rushed towards his opponent , ace doing the same .

    "Tink, clank, boom!" The metallic sound of haki against haki resounded through out the area and even though obito was strong in haki it was very clear that ace was pushing him back more and more .

    Obito''s haki control was lower than ace''s and he was expending too much of it in their clashes. And within 30 minutes his haki reserve would be finished .

    Meanwhile

    Alubarna , underground ruins

    "Gomu Gomu no storm roared luffy as hundreds of bloodied stretched fist ?ssaulted crocodile , the sand man was driven through the stone roof of the ruins and hurled to the surface hundreds of meters in the air above alubarna.

    Clocktower of alubaranˇ­..

    "Please stop the fighting " shouted vivi , her voice resounding through out the entire battle field , the fight came to a pause , the rebel , the soldiers and marines stared at the clock tower the voice came from.

    The battle field became deathly silent as they stared at the crying princess

    "Vivi sama" muttered a rebel

    As they were staring at the clock tower the unconscious body of crocodile fell to the ground leaving a small crater .

    "That''s crocodile" a rebel muttered , stunned and in disbelief at the condition the warlord was in just so were the others around as they saw the badly ,beaten , bruised and bloody body of the warlord.

    Van augur who was nearby saw the opportunity to capture the traitorous warlord and took it .

    "Sergeant, take your men and ensure crocodile is chained up , he''s a devil fruit user so make sure you use sea stone cuffs, fate has delivered the enemy within our hands " said augur towards Sergeant rade

    " It will be done captain, alright men you heard the captain bring all the sea stone cuffs we have quickly!" Said rade

    One Week Later

    Ever since the events at Arabasta took place the world was thrown into an uproar , crocodile one of the seven warlords was defeated by commodore obito and Fire fist Ace of the whitebeard pirates was injured by said marine and fled Arabasta, of course the former was false. It was luffy who defeated crocodile not obito but alas the world government wouldn''t dare put that in their newspapers would they? The commodore injured ace of course but he himself received severe burns from the devil fruit user.

    Marine Base Headquarters

    Fleet Admiral office

    "Bwahahaha! , obito to think you''d let a snot nosed brat like ace almost beat you up" mocked garp as he munched on his crackers.

    obito stood at attention beside augur trying his best to ignore the old bastard.

    Garp knew obito always won in a fight against ace but to think the ever stoic marine came back to headquarters badly injured and with burns on his left arm proved that ace wasn''t the second division commander of the whitebeard pirates for show.

    His proficiency in haki was stronger than obito''s, but his devil fruit although powerful made him vulnerable and obito exploited that weakness by using every water style technique he knew of and out smarting the pirate.

    obito stared at the laughing old geezer and frowned. This bastard he thought.

    Garp was one of the biggest trolls when it came to obito, he remembered when garp would throw him, luffy and ace into the forest at midnight to fight large wild beast, while the old bastard stood to the side and laughed while they were almost killed . Terrible memories he thought , thinking about them made him cringe even to this day.

    "Vice Admiral Garp, fire fist ace was injured badly and retreated from Arabasta to god knows where, probably back to the new world to report back to his captain, I doubt i was the one who lost in the confrontation" said obito

    Obito eyebrows twitched again

    "Enough garp!, This is a serious matter, Whitebeard could retaliate at any moment now that his commander was injured do you think he would sit back and relax while one of his ''so called sons'' were injured? Were lucky that our spies report he''s still in the new world and hasn''t shown any signs of moving as yet" said sengoku

    "Ara sengoku san, even though obito injured his commander there''s still the chance that he may attack our bases in the new world as retribution" voiced Aokiji

    "You speak true Kuzan, Newgate takes the safety of his crew seriously especially his commanders, he won''t let such harm inflicted on his subordinates slide, obito it''s best if you stay in headquarters for a few months until things cool down" said an elderly female voice.

    " I refuse , Tsuru san I would not hide and cower like a dog because whitebeard wants revenge if he wants a A fight i''ll give it to him, I''ll take my chances with the emperor than to hide away " said obito sternly

    "You see that sengoku a product of my brave teachings, Bwahahaha" remarked garp

    "Shut up Garp,you taught him for a year and a half before bringing him here, if praise was to to be given it would be to his true teacher and i don''t see the name Zephyr written on you" said Head Instructor/High Command Advisor zephyr.

    "Huh, you wanna fight purple head ?" asked garp as he stood from his seat

    "Sit down and shut up garp!" roared sengoku as he grabbed the pack of crackers out of garps hand to his protest and begun to munch away.

    "Oh please, as if your iron fist is stronger than my black arm you old fool" said zephyr as he crossed his arms.

    Well this was awkward ''an old man calling another old man old'' thought obito, he did his best not to laugh at their antics he didn''t want to ruin his years of discipline and poker face now did he?.

    "Too bad you didn''t capture ace obito, he could''ve been used to lure out whitebeard and put an end to him and to his crew once and for all" uttered sakazuki.

    His face stern as always .

    Garp frowned at akainu''s words but said nothing nonetheless .

    "A pity indeed" muttered kizaru speaking lazily as always.

    "But still, obito your actions so far has showed that justice will always prevail and you also increased the prestige of the marines and the world government. I hope you continue on this path , but if you ever betray or one day shame the world government..." akainu left it their

    "Enough akainu!, obito is loyal to the marines, his actions has proven that so far He''s not your responsibility he''s mine" uttered sengoku as he scolded the admiral for his threatening words towards obito.

    "Hmph" was akainu''s response

    Every one in the room new that obito and akainu were similar but at the same time not.

    Both were ruthless and extreme at times, but obito shows respect towards his subordinates and fellow marines, only being ruthless to criminals, evil pirates bandits and slavers .

    Akainu on the other hand hardly tolerated failure and was not merciful when it came to cowards , traitors or mutineers within the marine ranks.

    But at the same time they''re was a slight divide between the commodore and the admiral due to obito being brought in by garp, and garp''s son Dragon betraying the marines to become the greatest enemy of the world government and the marines.

    " Of course admiral" said obito to akainu as he then turn''t his attention to sengoku

    "Obito , the five elders have heard of your upstanding actions and have requested you be promoted to rear admiral and Van Augur there to commodore plus you will be given the medal of honor and bravery for saving Arabasta from the bomb crocodile placed within the city" sengoku pointed out

    obito was neither pleased nor surprised at the sudden turn of events this was just a ploy by the elders to use him as a propaganda tool for the public eye and to further increase their prestige.

    "It would be my honor Fleet Admiral" said obito

    Yes, yes, the ceremony will be held next week rear admiral , I hope you show the public and the your fellow marines next week , that we are the pillars of this world, the only thing holding it up against chaos and defending justice, you two are now dismissed" said sengoku as he waved them off.

    Meanwhile

    Moby Dick, flagship of whitebeard

    "Gurararara , Garp, Zephyr, sengoku It seems like the younglings shall surely surpass us " roared out the 21 feet tall man as he read the newspaper, a large Naginata rested at his side ready to be drawn at moments notice.

    This giant was no other than whitebeard.

    "Pops shouldn''t we retaliate a marine did attack and injured one of our own? asked marco

    "No marco, didn''t you hear ace say that he knew the marine personally, they trained together when they were younger, ace wishes to deal with this issue personally so i''ll let him " said whitbeard as he then gulped down a gallon of sake from his large gourd.

    "Ok then pops, but if ace can''t deal with him then surely we must intervene" said marco

    "Of course we will my son, of course we will" said whitebeard as thunder echoes in the cloudy sky above

 Chapter 13 - Mock Town

    3 weeks later.

    Obito pov

    The fools , day by day my allies within their ranks grow . They are blinded by my loyalty to the the marine cause , blinded by the power they hold as they squabble and argue in their lavish palaces in Mariejois, unbeknownst to them that there is a disease , a cancer, that has already began to spread. And when they come to realize the threat the disease poses, it will be too late, for it will be everywhere.

    A great war is coming and all those who oppose my new order shall be purged from this world .

    *Knock, knock*

    "Enter"

    "Rear admiral , we''ve arrived at Jaya Island, were preparing to dock at mock town now. " reported sergeant basil as he stood at attention , face clearly devoid of any emotion.

    "Is that so? Then ready the garrison. Let the the pirate scums on the island shiver in fear of our presence. I want every inch of that town searched, every pirate to be in chains and all illegal funds and goods confiscated, Is that clear ?"

    "Yes rear admiral" replied basil his voice sounding stern and cold as his facial expression

    " Dismissed "

    He saluted then turned on his heel and left .

    Such discipline , I thought .

    I wouldn''t have it no other way , my ship was made up of disciplined warriors and not clowns, years of tutelage under myself and augur have forged them into one of the strongest and most ruthless fighting force within the marines . I''ve even heard rumors of other marines calling my company , the shadow unit, of course they weren''t really wrong about that. Because every where i went they were with me ,they were the darkness born from the light and they were loyal to me and carried out orders without question , some were slightly fanatical as basil himself and that fanaticism will prove useful in the future.

    The fleet admiral wasn''t pleased when I requested new ships for my upcoming subordinate officers but relented after a few persuading words , the galleon like battleships were on very high demand like hot bread and most vice admirals and rear admirals and opted to use this new prototype over the normal oval shaped battleship.

    It was my idea that improved the weaponry and ships of marines, so not granting my request would seem to be vain on the fleet admirals part.

    But I got what I wanted in the end , two new ships under my control and now a small fleet which I called death squadron a few weeks ago. My own ship, now named the Intimidator, Augur''s Hitman, and Rade''s Warlaw and over the course of a week my small fleet has destroyed and captured dozens if not hundreds of pirates and criminals, and over a hundred million berries in currency and treasure.

    Dozens of marine ensigns were vying for a transfer to my unit at least thats what the fleet admiral told me . Fools, the lot of them . The death squadron was no place for the weak willed, only those with the strongest will and mind will be permitted in.

    And anyone that couldn''t pass my standard test would only be common soldierly.

    "Marines!, Marines are here!" Shouted a pirate as he burst through the saloon doors, beads of sweat now covering his forehead.

    The pirate was going to speak but, sarquiss , the right hand man of bellamy beat him to it.

    "Hahaahaa!, you weaklings I shouldn''t even be surprised that you''re afraid of a bunch of weak marines"

    "You , don''t understand , these marines are different, they''re from the rumored Death Squadron led by , the red eye demon Uchiha obito himself!." The pirate stuttered out , his voice sounding shaky and nervous

    "Whaaatt!" Everyone in the bar exclaimed.

    Even bartender terry almost dropped the glass he was cleaning , mouth now left a gaped like the other people in his establishment.

    Bellamy frowned , he was an unofficial subordinate of the warlord Donquxiote Doflamingo so no marine could touch him or his crew, but he heard how unpredictable and cruel the marine rear admiral and his minions could be , and he wouldn''t push his luck today, he underestimated straw hat luffy a three days ago and he paid for it . He won''t make the same mistake twice.

    Meanwhile

    Basil Pov

    Filthy pirate scum. They were lucky the rear admiral order them to be captured, wellˇ­at least most of them, captured , there were a few foolish ones thinking they could defeat the infamous death squadron , only to be gunned down or cut in half by himself as they made their futile advance.

    "Search that house. I want all buildings to be searched. I want every pirate rooted out and in chains !"

    " Yes , sergeant basil " the petty officer answered , an m-16 rifle firmly gripped in his hands as he and some other marines f?r??b?? entered the house at the protest of a woman .

    Damn these civilians he thought. They were so rooted and intertwined with the pirate population here that it seemed to have become apart of their society , how they coexisted with these robbers and r?p?rs disgusted him. The rear admiral always spoke of how fallen and decadent the world has become and he wasn''t lying , the marines have become ??pdogs of the world government and those filthy celestial dragons. He''s seen how those self entitled pompous evil creatures in human skin treated their own kind.

    He never understood how the rear admiral put up with them so easily, being around them was so infuriating. They were another, set of scums that deserved to be in graves.

    His thoughts on the vermin were interrupted as he heard the voice of his newly arrived , superior.

    "It seems everything is going well Sergeant." Said obito
