 Chapter 1 - Prologue

    Ain was a NEET, well not exactly a NEET, but a lazy guy who didn''t want to do anything but be immersed in his dream world and imagination. His main hobby being reading Mangas and Light novels.


    He was also a social media addict, but today he was in a foul mood, since his mom was continuously nagging him about not finding any job, spending all the time on the computer and how he was getting old and won''t find any one to marry and on and on...


    Even though he was tired of the nagging, he knew his parents only meant well and he also loved them. But the frustration from continuous nagging was making his head burn, he went to his room and went to the FB page, as he looked.


    Someone unknown has shared a post with him, It was an image poster. Let me see, oh such grand words " If you can imagine it, it means it exist somewhere in this infinite universe ". He went into thinking (why is some alien conspiracy thinker or religious fanatic sharing post with me ,hmm might as well release my frustration on this noob, I will flame him to death he he he...)


    ( Let me see his profile pic. name is Fremont looks like a salesman with coat and suit, and that warm smile makes me want to punch him in the face.. )

    As went out of the room he entered a large bright ancient style hall with golden pillars ,with ancient beast and warriors carved on it.


    Ain " wow.. it looks like one of those heritage hotels. so cool ,hmm... a Heritage hospital... wait a second, where did the door and room that i came from go, how did I end up in the middle of the hall, wait maybe I am dreaming , i should focus and try to wake up.. focus focus.. nothing is happening ... pinch, slap, hit ... nothing seems to be working "


    (what is happening i am sure that i was in hospital room just now with patient bed and some hospital equipment nearby, and the next second I am here ... am i dead and in heaven or something, i must have done so much good karma ..he he he. ... wait why can''t I see any angels and stuff

    all of a sudden a deep sigh was heard and a deep voice was heard .

    As Ain moves forward brightness of the hall dims a bit and he sees huge golden throne, above some stairs and someone sitting on it , but he can''t see the face clearly because of the brightness .


    Ain " so I am really dead, can you tell me what exactly happened , and why was i in the hospital just a moment ago"


    God " well don''t be sad child, you were hit by lightning, you died there itself, the image of hospital room was created to ease your soul which awakened from slumber "


    Ain ( so that is what happened .... wait a second , how did I get struck by lightning when I was inside my room and when i went out the morning it was a sunny day with a clear sky... something seems fishy here, am i in some illusion or genjutsu or something.... maybe this guy is the devil or something and trying to scam me to sell my soul... or some other evil guy with a hidden agenda ... I must find a solution .... I can''t think of anything... this guy has put up such a huge setup it means he is really powerful , and I am powerless. I should find out what his motive is maybe i can get an edge...)


    As Ain was thinking all this the god was having a frown on his face , what does this dumb kid think that i cant read read his mind, but at least he is smart to figure out there is something wrong.


    God " child do you think i don''t know what you are thinking ,there is nothing to be afraid of , i am a god , i have my pride and i don''t need to deceive someone like you "


    Ain " so if you already know my mind please clear my doubts "


    God " well child, it was an accident on my part that you were struck by lightning , i was just a little angry and the heavenly tribulation lightning that I keep at my side has the property of automatically strike down anything that i am angry at or which i deem is breaking the natural order of the universe , but don''t worry i will compensate you by fulfilling one of your wish"

    Ain " yes, it''s one of my greatest regret i know i have not been a good son to them, even though I have been a Neet and lazed around, they have always taken care of me and provided me with the best of what they can , even when they nagged a little i could feel their love.     God" I already told you kid whatever you can imagine exist somewhere in this universe ,many of the inspiration for those writer came from having an epiphany with those real worlds or those real characters , it may not be exactly the same due to interference of universal laws or Dao''s , but more or less the same "


    Ain " I see...., there is this character that was my favorite , The One Punch Man,... truly overpowered , did only what he wanted, and laze around all the time just like me, even his profession of hero was just a hobby for him... can I be born with his power "


    God laughed "Ha ha ha.... The king asked you for your wish and you asked for the kingdom itself from the king , it''s impossible kid, it''s not that I don''t want to fulfill your wish, but i can''t ...that guy you are referring to is Saitama, he is someone you call a monster among monster , a genius among geniuses and the most frightening thing about that guy is his sheer will power even among God''s very few can match it..... how should i make you understand....ok"


    " see every intelligent life form in the universe have different kind of senses to perceive what is beyond their very being or the universe , a man is born with 5 senses and through certain method he can also increase it 6 or 7 senses. The problem comes here, more senses you have more information is pumped into your mind, and it makes you almost impossible to focus on a single thing or thought for more than one or two minutes, ..even if you were to cut off all your senses , there is already knowledge acquired from your birth which will influence your single thought and deviate it... someone who can focus on a single thought for more than 5 minutes can already be considered a Sage... But that person called Saitama , he with his sheer will power was able to focus on one single thought, " to become stronger" for more than three years and passively doing other things without allowing his single thought to deviate , his will and intend became so focused that even the universal laws or Dao''s couldn''t affect it any more, and his will began to manifest into reality, there were no more limits to what he could do and after gaining enough strength he put it aside just like any other hobby....such a waste of true talent....hmm"


    Giving out a long sigh , God looked at Ain and continued "now do you understand kid even if I give you the power to destroy a whole planet with a single punch... it won''t come near that man''s power, and more than that your body should be strong enough to handle that strength and universal law won''t allow such an anomaly to exist, if it isn''t gained through continuous efforts and practice and time, or it will send strong tribulations in different ways resulting in your destruction "


    Ain " so what do you suggest I do "


    God "well you have two choices one you will be born with great strength sealed within, using a technique, which will allow you to access that strength as time moves on, you won''t have to practice or anything and the natural laws won''t create problems for you , after unsealing all the strength you would have the strength to destroy a planet with a single punch , but that would be the limit of your body and to further improve your strength you will have to look for other opportunities or ways.


    The second option is an experimental one that came to my mind after you mentioned saitama I will put a small portion of the bone marrow extracted from an ancient god into your new body, the bone marrow will slowly produce new blood,fat, cartilage, and bone etc.. and evolving your body , In time if everything goes right you will have a mini version of an ancient gods body, but the process is real time consuming as it would require the absorption of primordial energy by the bone marrow to function, but it would provide infinite possibilities and opportunities , if fate has it one day you could even rival Saitama or you could die due to many possible complications created by the bone marrow or due to being real weak at the initial stages of your life ."


    Ain " hmm.. can you explain what is an ancient god and what is primordial energy "


    God " you are not qualified to know all these ,but i will explain in a vague manner and you will also lose your memory after rebirth so it doesn''t matter, primordial energy is the essence energy that formed into the divine realm and you could say every other realm or multiverses branch out of it, so you could say all other energy and matter is a mutated form of primordial energy and it is present in everything in very small amount. As far as the ancient gods go,they are known by many names like Titans or Ancient Demons or Ancient Asuras or Ancient Rakshasas, not much is known about them after the war of the ancients, other than the fact that they were born from the primordial energy , there very bodies were formed from primordial energy which was almost indestructible in nature and they could even tear apart galaxies or universe with their b?r? hands, and the size of their body un-measurable... hmm... you don''t know how much risk I took along with some of my friends to attain that bone marrow from the battlefield of the ancients, even though i would be using only minuscule amount of what I have , it''s still priceless ...."

    Ain " Even after all that explanation if i don''t choose the second option i would be really dumb, and the real saitama has piqued my interest if possible i would like to meet him one day after gaining enough strength and have a spar with my favorite hero "


    God " since you have already chosen, i will provide you with two more things , a system of my own creation, which I use as a subordinate in my different experiments to analyze different and bulk data easily, it also has many other useful function.Since we are basically conducting an experiment, I will attach it to your soul it will behave like a system that will show you all the status of your body and you can also use it to store different information like a computer and since all this began from your wish to become like the one punch man , we will name it '' The one punch man system '' ..... OK the next thing i will provide you with is , a Naturally formed seal which was also found from the battlefield, the only use of this seal is it will continuously attract a small amount of primordial energy towards it, which will help you save a lot of time, otherwise who knows how much time will it take for the bone marrow to even produce one blood cell.


    since we are all done, so which world do you wish to be born in , one punch man world "


    Ain " is it possible for me to choose another world, i mean OPM world is good but it has lost its natural beauty and is polluted badly after continuous development, if possible I would like to go to Naruto world, which is also one of my favorite manga, and the world is still in good condition without much pollution and great natural environment "


    God extended his hand as bright light was emitted from it and entered Ain''s soul, and a small seal appeared inside the heart of his soul body at the same time a small white bead appeared on his forehead in between the eyes like a vertical third eye , these were the natural seal and - OPM system. there also appeared a small semi solid goblet which was golden black in color and was giving an ancient and vicious aura like an ancient dragon which was ready to devour everything, but all of a sudden it became peaceful as if resonating in harmony with the natural seal, Ain could also feel that something has changed in his soul, everything became much more clear all of a sudden .


    God " good... good.. your soul has formed a harmony with the bone marrow and the seal, which has improved your soul level. now its done , i will start the process of sending your soul to the new body, remember as your soul enter the new body, the universal law would automatically erase the memories of your previous birth only your karmic luck will remain.... then go.. good luck ... I hope if destiny allows we would meet again one day "


    As a light enveloped Ain''s soul body, he vanished.


    God ( I hope the beastly instinct in the bone marrow don''t take control, of that kids soul and body, turning him into a mindless evil monster, after all my studies suggest the bone marrow came from an Ancient Rakshasa , and they are known for their unfathomable bodily strength and magical powers, the problem would be their unruly and lawless bestial nature ... but gaining strength also requires facing great odds , it will depend on how strong his will power is and how strong his karmic merits or luck is...  Chapter 2 - A child born with calamity

    As the bright light disappeared from his eyes , Ain knew he was no longer in his soul body form , as he couldn''t see any more he could feel his eyes which couldn''t be open and his body so weak and as if crumpled inside something unable to move.


    Ain thought ( I must be inside the w?mb of my new mother )


    As he was thinking,he could feel something interfering with his consciousness , (what is happening, I am losing consciousness ... yeah i have the System , I should ask it, hey system can you hear me...hello.. )

    time passed and he endured , the pain made it seem like an eternity, and he slowly began to lose consciousness , but all of a sudden a new nourishing and soothing energy started to prevail through his soul, he could feel his soul beginning to grow and become stronger, and he could feel something more has been added to his soul, he could feel the form of his soul .


    He realized he had gained a new sense , a spiritual sense through which he could know everything in his surroundings , but the coverage was very small about 15 cm radius in every direction, like a sphere and as he concentrated his spiritual sense inward he knew his soul was in the form of a small sphere, but really bright colored like an energy ball, and inside it was the small bead the OPM System, but its color and shape has changed from white sphere to golden yellow oval shaped pearl standing erect and the Natural seal has embedded into it, as if they have become one and both have become one with his soul,


    as he looked outward he realized the resting place of his soul was in between the two hemispheres of the brain and what is called Pineal gland, but what was surprising was that his pineal gland had become larger and was in black golden intermixed color and giving the same aura of the bone marrow of ancient god.

    I have come to the most possible conjecture , the seal itself was something like an Ancient god, which came into being from primordial energy , but for some reason failed to form a soul and consciousness ... maybe outside interference or something else I don''t know ... but when the host received the seal along with the bone marrow into the soul , it was like a natural instinct has awakened inside the seal , as if it could achieve what it couldn''t all those time ago, to form a complete body and soul, so it formed a harmonic relation with hosts soul and bone marrow.


    But when the Natural law of this universe began to interfere , the seal felt threatened ,its instincts kicked in and it tried to protect hosts soul from the natural law, and since the system was considered as a hindrance, it was absorbed by the seal and along with a portion of hosts soul i was formed and merged with hosts soul in the end, which made hosts soul to grow powerful and awakened spiritual sense , but since the pineal gland of an ordinary child can''t contain such a powerful soul, the seal used a small portion of the bone marrow along with primordial energy contained within the seal to transform the hosts pineal gland into current state . ..]

 Chapter 3 - The Hanami village

    As Ain was trying to rest a sudden pain jolted him awake, he felt something grabbing him ,he knew he was being taken out of his mother''s w?mb, being held by his leg made him feel a little pain and he cried out but the sound that came out was something else, he felt really feeble and weak, unable to move or even open his eyes ....


    He thought (i am feeling really tired and sleepy, I will sleep for now)


    Two days passed away, Ain woke up again, he slowly opened his eyes ... what he saw was a big face..he was startled and shouted out, but what came out was some gibberish like, a baby cry.


    Suddenly he realized he was a baby, and it was not a big face but a man closely looking at him.


    then he heard a sweet voice scolding " Hirokatsu I told you already, don''t irritate the child..see now what you have done.. made my little angel cry..."


    Hirokatsu in a depressed voice " Hagika ...don''t scold me in front of our child.... I was just checking out my son, whether he has the masculine and noble aura like me "


    Hagika " pfft... and which noble clan were you born in...you are just an ordinary black smith in an ordinary village..i don''t know how, I fell for a dummy like you "


    Hirokatsu " hey don''t berate my ancestors, even though my kibagami clan has lost its former glory.     Time passed Hagika was discharged from the hospital , Ain also understood many things about his parents and the village, after one month he was often taken to tour the village by his father,


    He got to know the villages name was Hanami village, the name came to be because the villagers grew different flowers both domestic and wild flowers, around their house and in farms, it was also one of the main commodities produced in the village, merchants came to purchase flowers to create perfumes and many other reasons. different flowers bloomed throughout the years not just in spring.... so the name village of flowers.....


    Granny Fuzuki was village heads wife and was also a medic ninja who retired along with her husband... since they didn''t have any children they treated the young ones of the village as their own children....

 Chapter 4 - Peaceful village life

    Two months passed away quickly, Ain came to realize, how wonderful this real world was , the air was so pure that just breathing in it made ones body filled with energy. the land, the forests everything was full of vitality and life , if one was to compare this planet to earth, then it would be like comparing a teen filled with energy to a granny who is slowly dying.


    He thought (no wonder those ninjas can form chakra in their body and perform taijutsu, the nature is also aiding and healing their body continuously...)


    Slowly he also came to adapt to the new life , his loving but bragging father who always preaches about living a dignified man''s life, his loving and kind mother , the three 4-5 year old, neighbors children who would visit often , curiously looking at Ain and often search his body whispering to each other " he is the child of calamity, he surely has some horns and claws , and definitely a cute tail.. let''s search more ... he must be hiding it " .


    Hagika and her friends, mothers of these snotty brats would laugh at this, and Ain was in no condition to respond to all this....


    The whole village was friendly , the villagers treated each other as a big family , as the village was really small and in a relatively remote place in the forested area , there where only 36 villagers in total. after 4 months of his birth and his father taking him all around the village , he got to know everyone in the village .


    Ain had his spiritual sense increased to 1 meter after the tribulation, and alpha helped him to utilize the spiritual sense in different ways , like concentrating only on a specified direction which further increased the distance that can be scanned , and with the help of Alpha all data could be collected in seconds and can further analyzed completely with in seconds, the longest the spiritual sense can be effectively utilized was about 40 meters as in long cuboid structure and can also be rotated to be utilized as a radar, but it was really a mental strain , even with the help of alpha ,he could at best do was 2 radar scans and needed rest of 3 hours, to do another.


    Alpha has also given him some good news in this time. Alpha made the conclusion that even though the heavenly tribulation was a bad thing, it was greatly beneficial to Ain''s body, as the lightning contained large amount of pure primordial energy , which can be directly absorbed into the bone marrow, which can be further utilized in the formation of the ancient god body, but that was an evolutionary process which would take a very very long time.... so Alpha came to the conclusion that Ain needs to come up with smaller target first and it was decided that the first target would be achieving a body similar to Hashirama''s sage body , which can regenerate from injuries instantly , and for this he needed to focus more on forming ancient gods blood cells , which has an unprecedented regenerative ability much more powerful than Hashiramas and if further evolved to its full potential resulting in something even Alpha can''t predict with its current ability.


    After the blood the focus should be on bones , cartilage, muscles and fat etc.. which would increase his physical strength to an unprecedented level .


    But to achieve all this he needed to absorb more primordial energy , which was very difficult since the natural energy in the nature itself only very little Primordial energy .


    As for the energy from tribulation he could only absorb about 10% of it , since he didn''t take on the tribulation directly with his body. And even that 10% was because of the help of Alpha and the evolved seal , if it was the old seal then even 5% would be difficult. utilizing that 10% Ain was able to produce a small amount of Ancient god blood cells,


    A new problem arose now , this was his body growing up really fast , he already looked like an 8 month old child when only 4 month old, in order to not create any unnecessary suspicion from the parents and villagers , alpha regulated the production of blood cells, as alpha has evolved it could easily control all the bodily function of hosts body .


    Alpha could utilize the Primordial energy left within the seal to make the host''s body grow rapidly to that of a 4 year old kid instantly , but since the seal couldn''t reabsorb or store primordial energy into it any more, the remaining energy was kept as emergency security measure.


    It was the 9th month, Alpha had collected enough information about the time period, from the talks between villagers .


    The first Shinobi world war has ended and peace treaty has been signed The First Hokage has passed away , and about 6 months ago The second hokage also died at the hands of the kinkaku forces . according to Alpha''s calculation the peace will last for about 18years more until The second shinobi world war begins .


    But Alpha was always busy and kept silent most of the time during these 5 months, saying there was a mistake in its calculation of the behavior of the Natural laws and fate on the previous heavenly tribulation. And it couldn''t figure out what was wrong ... this was also one of the reasons 17% energy reserve was kept intact .


    Today Hagika was taking little jiyuu, for grocery shopping ,but her path was blocked by three people , two boys and a girl "show us the cute calamity Jiyuu, we want to check whether he has grown a cute little tail ..."

    According to Alpha , Aunt Kazumi is the strongest person in the village she has the chakra level of a jonin , a genius to be at this level at this age , maybe a ninja who got fed up by war and settled here. The other people with chakra are village head and his wife, who have above genin level chakra reaching about chunin level.


    The other people with chakra were his father Hirokatsu with above genin level chakra due to practice of some kenjutsu, to improve his sword smithing skills. Akitoshi san and the three of the village guards trained by the village head also reached genin level.)


    In the evening Ain was laying in the cradle and thinking ( This life is good, I am really happy here, maybe living as an ordinary villager here is not at all bad... my loving parents , all these kind and caring villagers ...I will leave all the ancient god and strengthening stuff behind , either way it would take a long time for the bone marrow to absorb energy even with the aid of the seal... I have decided ... I will be jiyuu Kibagami from today on-ward''s and will also become a weaponsmith and fulfill my parents wish, i will also help the village with all i can....  Chapter 5 - Disaster approaches

    Hirokatsu was going for little rest after the dinner, but suddenly he had a foreboding of something bad would happen, since he wasn''t strong enough and his intuition wasn''t as strong as a seasoned ninja, he thought the feeling, was irritating... and maybe he should have some sake before going to bed.

He knew something was wrong, so he asked the guards to be extra careful and make rounds of the village during night, he also made some other preparations


    The other person who had premonition was Kazumi , as a genius and jonin level ninja ...she knew things weren''t looking good , so after making sure Hanari and her husband was asleep, she went to the garden and dig out a ninja pouch and an arm and body protector, she wore it and waited for the night to pass...


    It was reaching 10 pm, Alpha suggested Jiyuu do a radar scan using spiritual sens , As the scan was done , Alpha compiled all the data of each rotation together and put together a good picture of what was happening around a 40 meter radius circle. even though they couldn''t get a complete scan of the village and its surrounding , what put jiyuu at a little ease was , Kazumi who was in her ninja armor and village head also seems to have put on his armor and was preparing for anything that might come...


    As time passed 6 shadows were moving towards Hanami village at fast pace, they stopped moving about 500 meters from the village, they were 6 ninjas three jonin level and 3 chunin level ninjas wearing kumo head protectors .


    The sturdy looking leader spoke " Dansui are you sure about the information that you gathered"


    Dansui " After being a spy and intelligence operative for so long , please don''t doubt my talents Goushou san "


    Goushou " we will proceed as planned Dansui is with me, we will go to the village heads house and fight him allowing him to send the signal for help and then finish him off, while Harui, H, L and K , each of you will move from 4 direction and silently ?ssassinate each and every villagers , leaving only 10 villagers as hostage , whom we will use as the bait to lure the Konoha Patrol and intelligence team who are currently returning to their village through the north of this village.

    [host it is an attack , from kumo ninjas , can detect 4 of them... 2 jonin level are going to the village heads house, the other 2 are each taking positon on 2 sides probably waiting for some signal, the chakra pulse that was detected earlier came from inside of the village, it must be kazumi using some sensory technique.. and she is most probably aware of the situation, that is why she is going for the only jonin level left alone, to take her down quickly and go after the chunin level ninja next.. but since the radars range is limited i am not sure of the other directions there can be more ninjas...]


    Jiyuu ( I can see,what you are talking.. what can we do utilizing the primordial energy to protect every one )


    Alpha [The best solution would be to make the host grow to 3 year old utilizing 13% of the reserve energy, with hosts bodily condition and spiritual sens and my aide , host can be considered an elite Taijutsu master of chunin level , we will wake hosts father up and make him engage the chunin that is attacking from this side of the village , host will hide in the shadow and do a surprise attack, by stunning the enemy with spiritual sens .. after that we will try to join up with Kazumi ....


    But the problem is how hosts parent would take , the grown up you.... and making you grow is a painful process, you will be in hell for 3 minutes ... since host has been a grown up man ones adapting to grown up body would be easier..]


    Jiyuu (we don''t have time ....do it.. we will deal with it as it comes )


    As Alpha started the process , Jiyuu could feel an enormous energy traveling from his brain to spine and entering the bonemarrow and the bone marrow started producing more blood cells at a fast rate along with new fat, cartilage, and bones cells.....the process was heating jiyuu up and it was giving an acute pain like all over the body.. the newly formed ancient cells where destroying and recreating ordinary cells changing DNA it self , using the Ancient energy in them..


    5 minutes passed as the pain came to an end , but it felt like days of torture for jiyuu but he endured gritting his teeth and he knew there was no going back, protecting what he loved required strength ....


    As he came to his senses , he could feel the enormous strength coursing through his body like he could destroy a big boulder with a single punch , but he soon realized he was crumpled in the cradle and he was giving out a bad stench , he got out , swiped himself with some clothes in the shelf and took a pant which his mother has sewn for him as he reach 1 year old , it was short and a little tight...


    Hirokatsu " let me sleep a little more Hagika... hey who are you kid.. how did you come in..you look a little familiar.."


    Hagika woke up " Jiyuu.. how.."


    Hirokatsu " jiyuu ...how did you become so big..and why do you stink..."

    Jiyuu " we don''t have time any more , more we argue more villagers die .... trust me mom"


    as he spoke he moved towards the other room, but as he increased his speed he couldn''t control it and broke through the door...


    Jiyuu (I need better control ..)


    As he reached the cabinet he pushed it slowly the hidden shelf was reveled, there where two Katanas and one wakizashi, Jiyuu slowly jumped and took the wakizashi and a katana ..


    Hirokatsu after getting out of the shock of his son breaking the door by pushing at it, ran after him


    Hirokatsu " What are you doing ...breaking the house down....you... you.. my fathers katana..."


    Jiyuu threw the katana towards his father and said " Follow me to Gaku sans house dad ... we don''t have much time "


    this time he opened the door slowly and disappeared ..


    Hagika came to the hall and hit Hirokatsu in the head and said " what are you doing go and protect our child.."

    Before he finished speaking half of his body was lying on the ground , his internal organs falling out of the upper half and the monster was standing behind him.


    As Hirokatsu reached Gaku sans house he saw his son disappearing and appearing behind the ninja , as the ninja was split in half ... it took a while for Hirokatsu to come to his senses.. then he called out "Jiyuu...." and ran towards his son...


    Jiyuu came to his senses as he heard his fathers call , and he turned back to normal ..but suddenly he felt weak all over his body , blood was coming out of his mouth , eyes and nose . He fell down ....


    Hirokatsu held him up, Jiyuu was mumbling " i couldn''t help them ...."


    Hirokatsu understood what had happend , and the other villagers where also getting out of their houses after the commotion as he was going to carry jiyuu home he felt a special energy coursing through jiyuu ...


    Jiyuu felt the nourishing energy and woke up ...


    [Jiyuu wake up fast , that kumo ninja with explosive is moving towards the center of the village , you need to stop her ,she had been hurt badly by Kazumi but she escaped..]


    Jiyuu opened his eyes and looked at his father " father you need to take mother and as many villagers you can to the east side of the village and escape as far as possible ..."


    Hirokatsu " son.. you be safe "


    At the same time H was holding a Dying Harui in his hand , he was crying " no.. you can''t leave me too ... you are the only thing left in my life ..no ..."

 Chapter 6 - The after math

    The explosion destroyed the entire village, a big crater had formed at the center of the village.


    8 silhouettes wearing masks appeared on the trees near the burning village with body flicker technique, One of the leaders spoke " This might be a trap, every one be extra cautious... Adami and Himoto put down the fire, .... Aiga san please use your sensing technique to look for any hidden ambush... "


    Aiga "Makishi san, ... why don''t we wait for reinforcement first..."


    Makishi " I think it would be too late by then... we need to act now if we want to save any suvivors.."


    Aiga " ok... sensing jutsu ..."


    Aiga " I can sens two kumo ninjas, escaping towards the west, they seems to be hurt... and there are only 3 weak chakras left in the village ..."

    After One hour, the ninjas ?ssembled back at the village. There were three bodies in front of them.

    Jiyuu opened his eyes and and tried to sit up ... as his vision cleared he knew he was in a room, probably a hospital since he was bandaged all over the body. It was hurting all over his body.


    A nurse came shouting, " doctor, doctor the patient is up... Dont try to sit up you are seriously hurt and burned, just lay down and rest..."


    Doctor came in " The kid is awake ... amazing his body heals real fast and he[ is sober from the trauma ... I should take some blood and conduct some experiments ..."


    Jiyuu ( What the hell does this guy think, I am some kind of guinea pig to run hi tests on..... Alpha what is the situation...)


    Alpha [ Its real bad, we are in konoha hospital right now...]


    Alpha[ this.... I am sorry jiyuu , only you, Kazumi and Hanari survived the explosion. All others including your parents died ...]


    Jiyuu started trembling, he tightened his fist in anguish and blood started coming out of the bandages in his hands, tears started falling from his eyes.... he stayed silent closing his eyes...


    The doctor and nurse saw this and pitied the small guy ....

I can surely bring them all back.... they never deserved to die like that ... those honest and peaceful villagers ,my loving and caring parents..... and all this was partially my fault, its the heavenly tribulation that brought this disaster... Alpha how strong should I be, to bring them all back and how long will it take me to reach such power... )


    But the conversation was halted as some people entered the room. Jiyuu saw two Anbu following a middle aged man with shaggy hairstyle and an x-shaped scar on his chin, he had a vague feeling that he has seen this man somewhere ...


    Middle aged man " that is exactly what you should do... you should deliver justice to your loved, by destroying the Kumo ninjas...but you need strength for this ... And you shall have the strength if you join us...."


    Jiyuu ( no wonder he looked familiar, but without the bandaged right eye it is difficult to recognize this guy....and this guy looks handsome, unlike in his old age.... what does he want from me )


    Alpha [ Your regeneration ability has already been noticed by the ninjas who brought you back and the doctor. There has been an hidden Anbu who was lurking around from the moment you and others were brought here, probably one of his spy. and after gaining intelligence on you and your amazing regeneration ability he is probably trying to recruit you into the roots... ]


    Before Danzo could continue another voice interrupted him .


    " Danzo what are you doing here ... The kid has not even recovered from the trauma of loosing his parents and you are already here to manipulate him...."


    A short man wearing the customary hat of the hokage came in. As Jiyuu saw this man he instantly recognized him ( the third hokage, he is much shorter in real life ... I guess i am saved from Danzo for now... )


    Doctor and nurse " Hokage sama.."


    Danzo " Hiruzen , why are you here and don''t accuse me of manipulation, I was just offering the kid an opportunity to do justice for his family ... .. "


    Third " Enough .... you wont pester this kid anymore ... he has already been through so much..."


    Danzo turned back and giving out a snort he said " You are still softhearted Hiruzen ... remember why you allowed the formation of Root.... and the root need special talents to complete its missions..." he was already gone when the sentence was finished.


    Third gave out a long sigh and examined Jiyuu carefully " how are you feeling kid ... guess you already know what happened .... don''t think too much .... just rest, no harm will come to you in here..."


    Jiyuu " I wish to know who survived and see them..."


    Third " you are still hurt, someone will take you to them when you are back on your legs..."

She was beautiful and had a strong resemblance to Kazumi. But as Hokage walked in her expression disappeared and only a plane face remained.

    3 more days passed by, Jiyuu was back to his full health by now, and he grew a little taller, his facial features had changed... he gave out a calm and composed look every time, unlike the happy and cheerful children of his same age.


    Today was the day he returned to the village...

 Chapter 7 - Return to the village

    Jiyuu was doing some slight bending and stretching in his room, when he heard a knock on the door. He opened the door to find three Anbu wearing animal-styled porcelain masks.


    Squad leader " We are under the order of Hokage, to take you to the Hanami village and protect you on the way.... "


    Jiyuu " lets go then ..."


    Jiyuu has been conversing with Alpha in these three days, about how to gain power equal to that of a god and bring his family and villagers back, Alpha came to the conclusion that. the only method to gain such power was by going through hell and fully activating the Ancient gods power resting within him, and to activate it fully, the body should go through different extreme conditions. If he was to follow the normal training methods even Alpha didn''t know how long it would take for him to reach that level, 1000 years may not even be sufficient.


    As they got out of the village the anbu black ops transformed into ordinary looking villagers and started the journey towards the Hanami village along with Jiyuu, it took them about two days to reach the village .Jiyuu was training his body and getting adapted to his new powers through out the journey, The Anbu were astonished by the effort put forth by this child, they tried to stop him from non stop training many times, but the child was determined to exhaust even the last bit of his energy before stopping. The weird thing was the kid would get up with full vigour after resting for half an hour. The anbu did not know that, Jiyuu was still holding back. so that he would not slow down the journey.


    As they reached nearer to the village Jiyuu''s foot became slower and harder, the anbu also noticed this, but didn''t say anything. This was not due to physical exhaustion but mental exhaustion, his heart rate started increasing . when he reached the boundary he could not move any further , it was only a big crater with many debris and some burned body parts here and there . Tears started leaking out of his eyes and his hands were shivering due to tightening of the fists, The memory of all the happy and kindhearted villagers doing their daily chores passed through his mind ... their laughter''s, the kids making trouble, his father and mother and so on... he closed his eyes and remained silent for a long time, no one disturbed him, for some unknown reason a fierce aura started leaking out of him slowly, at first the Anbu did not notice it, but slowly they also started to feel the tension, they did not know what to do exactly, but they started preparing for a serious fight. The squad leader gave a signal and the other two anbu changed their stance, the squad leader was preparing to knock jiyuu out and bring him back to Konoha .


    Squad leader [ what a powerful killing intent, what kind of monster is this kid...]


    But before they made a move, Jiyuu opened his eyes and the aura disappeared as if it never existed, (Alpha, I want to find the remains of each and every one of the villagers )

    Jiyuu himself went into the debris, and collected the remains with the guidance of Alpha and brought them back and put them in each coffins, when it came to the area where his parents remains were, he lost his strength and sat down without moving any further, It took him a long time to gain back his courage and determination, he encouraged himself ( no i will not waver, in order to become some one as powerful as a god, I should have a strong heart... this is not the end but the beginning.... as long as i am alive, my dreams and wishes are also alive and everything is possible, that means they are also alive with me.. and all this is just a bad dream.. )

    orochimaru " tsunade now.."


    Tsunade moved fast even though one of her hands were hurt, but as her punch was going for jiyuu''s face to knock him out .... but Orochimaru and tsunade started feeling hot all of a sudden and an explosion .... jiyuu was in tattered clothes ..... usually ninjas didn''t use elements like this on their body because it would hurt their body more than the enemy ... but jiyuu''s body was different .... he combined lightning and earth to create the explosion release....


    the results were obvious Orochimaru was in really bad state .... Tsunade was a little better but she was also hurt badly...

    by the evening when he returned to the shop... iou was smiling from ear to ear...


    iou " ... kid you are amazing, i cant believe we became so much rich in a day...come come let me treat you to some food and drink... oh i forgot that that you were not of drinking age, but the things that you do make me think you are m?tur?d man in a kids body..."

This was a meeting arranged by jiyuu , he knew there was only one other person who could help him get what he want. Jiyuu had already figured out the faces behind the masks of Danzo''s Anbu. He tracked down the root trainee who used to tail him and asked the guy to deliver a message to Danzo , the guy was startled at first, but he delivered the message either way.


    jiyuu could notice that Danzo was looking at him like a trapped beast... the other two Anbu were also taking positions as if covering his escape routes... jiyuu had also detected two more Anbu, secretly hiding in the jungle.....

Jiyuu used a hand sign when the attacker was dodging the shuriken''s. There was a small explosion under the shurikein''s, the direction and speed of the shuriken''s changed entirely.


    The attacker had a small grin on his face but it quickly changed into painful expression, he was caught off guard , he could have defended if the shuriken only changed the direction but when the speed increased rapidly he was not able to react quickly.


    He was in for more surprises, as his left hand started going numb all of a sudden, he knew the shuriken''s were poisoned, so he tried to expel the poison out using chakra , but soon he found out it was not working, he tried taking some antidotes but found no result....


    all of this happened in no time. While at the same time, the other Anbu had already made his move, Jiyuu used the same technique again, but this guy was prepared, he used substitution jutsu and appeared on one of the trees to jiyuu''s left .... but jiyuu used another hand sign and the branch on which the second guy was standing exploded, the guy was on fire...


    All these happened within two three minutes ... even Danzo was taken aback, even though everything appeared to be under perfect control of jiyuu... All this was under the continuous guidance and calculations of the system... he arrived at the meeting point earlier and the system calculated the probability of a confrontation and came up with different scenarios, then later jiyuu planted hidden explosive tags in different places which were calculated by the system. The dynamic shurikens''s were a new innovation that jiyuu came up with. By changing the structure of the shuriken and adding four micro explosive tags which were produced with the help of the system, he could change the direction of the shuriken in mid flight however he wanted.


    But only some one with extraordinary eyes like a Dojutsu or some one who can properly sense the complete motion of the shuriken could properly utilize it''s full power, here also the systems real time scanning and jiyuu''s on enhanced senses came in handy.


    nobody moved anymore.... of course Danzo gave the signal to stand down. This was not because he didn''t think he could take down jiyuu, but more because he didn''t know what cards jiyuu held and he didn''t know what price he might have to give to take jiyuu down.... it was more of a strategical retreat.


    Jiyuu " so are we going to continue this, or talk..."

    jiyuu " I am no business man, so i will put forward my terms, if you agree we will have an agreement ..... otherwise we will part ways here..."


    Before Danzo could speak, it was the Anbu who attacked first that spoke.... His name was Akemi, he was a jonin level ninja , if he was not caught of guard by jiyuu he would have never be in such a miserable state and his pride was hurt now...


    Akemi " kid just because you caught us of guard, don''t think high and mighty of yourself.... The root has many ways to get it''s things done... you maybe strong and intelligent... but how about your loved ones, i have heard that there is a beauty in your house and another little girl, do you think you can always protect them..... Every genius, will slip up one day and when you do i will be there..."


    Jiyuu just looked at this guy with a face that didn''t show any emotion, and then smiled at him .... Akemi didn''t feel anything, but Danzo and another sensory type ninja felt a chill run through their spine... From that moment on-wards Danzo stopped looking at the kid in front of him as a kid anymore.... the fear that Danzo felt was not due to jiyuu''s killing intent, but jiyuu unknowingly released a small bit of the savage aura of the Ancient demon in his killing intent.


    jiyuu continued to speak as if he didn''t hear what the other guy said.... Danzo also gestured the Anbu to stay quiet.


    jiyuu " here is the deal, i will provide you with weapons at half the market price and some new toy''s that i invent... i need you to provide me with all the intel, on the kumogakure that you have collected so far .... and information on different ninjutsu from all the villages ... you will also have to include me in any mission to kumogakure that doesn''t involve any innocent civilians.... you should know i am a pretty good medic ninja and can ?ssist in different kinds of missions .... I know you won''t be providing me any core information on forbidden or secret jutsu''s from leaf... but i guess general information on those jutsu''s and research on forbidden jutsus from other villages won''t be a problem for you... but please don''t provide me with fake info ... i have my own ways of verifying it, and it would also be the end of our cooperation... we can negotiate in the future if there are any changes..."


    Danzo was pondering, at first he thought of declining. Even though he was a shady person, he still treated the secrets regarding the village with utmost importance. But as he further contemplated, he felt that the deal was little alluring.


    Since the root was still in it''s developing stage he needed as much support as he could get , to transform the root into a hegemon ..... and Danzo knew that this kid was doing all this to gain more power and get his revenge on kumogakure. Further more he could keep a close eye on the kids growth and tactics, to make sure that if one day a need arise for this guy to be eliminated it can be done more swiftly.... Danzo also considered the option of further manipulating the information that he provides by mixing truth and lies together, so that digging out the right information and verifying it would be extremely hard and time consuming.


    Danzo " i will agree, if you will also put in the whole research on the new weapons that you will develop in the future, including those shuriken that you just used and the method of reducing the cost of weapon production ..."


    jiyuu " i will add the creation method of the dynamic shuriken , with what i said earlier ... you can forget about the rest .... take it or leave it.."

 Chapter 23 - twenty three

    It was night by the time he reached home. The deal with Danzo went more smoothly than he expected, it took more time to talk about the details of the agreement. Jiyuu was even prepared for an ambush on the way back , but nothing like that happened. Hanari and Kazumi was waiting for him to have dinner with him.


    Kazumi " Jiyuu, you came, did you have any business to deal with urgently... "


    Jiyuu " Yeah, I landed a special client...."


    Kazumi " we are in a good position right now and the money that we earn from the shop itself is huge.... You don''t need to work so hard, you are still a child, you need to enjoy your life more... Hah.. Sometimes I think I am incompetent as an ?du?t... And you as a child is too m?tur? "


    Hanari " Mom is right jiyuu, you don''t need to burden yourself like this... We are really happy with the life we have..."

    It was night both Kazumi and Hanari had gone to sleep, Jiyuu woke up and left the house... After getting out of the house, his face became somber and his eyes colder....     { Beep.. The location has been confirmed, the target is towards the southwest about 2.3 km from the host''s current position...}


    jiyuu moved according to the directions given by the system, he reached an abandoned building. Then with the help of the system he got past many traps and entered an underground tunnel which lead him to a more spacious facility, there were some ninjas hidden here and there, but jiyuu was able to detect them easily and avoid them with the help the system and some distraction tactics.


    Now he was standing before a door, he entered without any hesitation and saw a person whose left hand was bandaged, sleeping inside... The sleeping guy was a little drowsy but woke up feeling something, he was startled to see a silhouette with two shining eyes in the dark, but before he could make any voice the silhouette disappeared and was right in front of him, the silhouette was too fast.


    The bandaged guy was Akemi who was resting in one of the roots facility after undergoing treatment and the silhouette was of-course jiyuu.


    Akemi took out a kunai and stabbed it right at the silhouette''s heart, the silhouette didn''t even flinch and kept on making his move as if the person who got stabbed was someone else.


    A strike landed on Akemi''s throat, breaking his voice box, then the same hand entered his body like a hot knife passing through the bu??er. The hand came back with the same swiftness as it entered, but it was holding something. Akemi heard a murmur in his ear, " you should have never mentioned my family..."


    jiyuu went back and sat on the visitors chair after turning on the light to the room, Akemi has been paralyzed, but he could see what jiyuu was holding, it was a piece of bone, to be more precise it was a piece of his spine.... Blood was coming out of Akemi''s mouth, but he was unable to speak or move... He was in pain but was unable to do anything. Soon fear and despair started enveloping him, he knew he was dying.... It was the fear that was making him go more mad than the pain.


    He looked towards the other person in the room, to watch his enemy die the same way he did, as this would comfort him somewhat. But to his despair, he saw the enemy sitting on the chair comfortably and pulling out the kunai from his heart as if it was nothing, cleaning it and putting it away. Then the enemy started cleaning the blood on his hands with the same cloth... And all this while staring at him with cold and emotionless eyes.


    Akemi [ what kind of monster are you...]

 Chapter 24 - twenty four

    Akemi was dying with great regret, but jiyuu just didn''t care. Just before the guy was going to give up the ghost, jiyuu moved and he inserted chakra into the guys mouth and made some hand signs. This was a special seal that system has come up with to deal with the cursed seal that was embedded in every root ninja''s tongue, if the seal disappears after Akemi''s death and Danzo notice, then jiyuu would have been in big trouble. Jiyuu took out a scroll then sealed the body in it along with other evidences and left the facility without alarming anyone.


    The next day the root was in an uproar, one of their elite ninjas had disappeared into thin air, the most probable conclusion that they came up with was that , Akemi either left with his own free will or he defected to some one else. The probability of some one finding out there secret base and kidnapping Akemi from under their nose was close to nil. But for some reason when Danzo heard this news the first thing that came into his mind was jiyuu''s smile. Danzo ordered a complete investigation and to keep an eye on jiyuu''s movement.

    Three days passed by , today was a celebratory day at jiyuu''s house. The reason being he has graduated from the academy, this was under the special circumstances. Jiyuu didn''t want any celebrations but Kazumi and Hanari insisted, jiyuu also later felt it would be good for both of them, if there was some hustle bustle. Duy, jiraya and Sakumo Hatake were invited along with the staff''s of the shop, Jiraya was infatuated by Kazumi''s beauty but stopped drooling after knowing she was an elite jonin. The party was small and concluded even faster.


    The next day jiyuu was called to the Hokages office, as he entered he saw three familiar faces, they were the members of team Hiruzen. Jiraya gave him a hand wave, Tsunade had a little blush on her face and Orochimaru didn''t show any emotion.


    Jiyuu had this weird feeling that he was going to become the sasuke and jiraya the naruto if this keeps on going, so he avoided any further eye contact with Tsunade.


    Hokage " welcome jiyuu... they are your new team members, I believe you are already acquainted with them, I won''t be leading team Hiruzen anymore, the work load I have to deal with as the Hokage is troublesome enough... they are already experienced genin''s and Orochimaru will be your new team leader.... your team will be called team 9 from now on "


    Jiraya " What ... Why should Orochimaru be the team leader when i am here..."


    bang... and there was a small mountain on jirayas head.


    Tsunade " shut up jiraya.... hah ... what do you think jiyuu kun..."


    Jiyuu " I think it is better if Orochimaru is the team leader..."


    Jiraya "you .. you ...support him over your good brother...."


    jiyuu gave a special look towards jiraya, jiraya as if getting the Que kept silent. So it was decided that team 9 would be led by Orochimaru. The first mission of team 9 was to clear some bandits who were pestering the travelers and near by normal villages.


    As they were walking towards the ground, jiraya closed the distance between him and jiyuu and whispered.


    Jiraya " so, what is the plan...."


    jiyuu " If you become the team leader, do you think you can focus on your main mission..."


    jiyuu looked in the direction of Tsunade...


    Jiraya " how can i forget something so important, those growing b??bs are more important than any team leader position ..."


    jiraya was easy to fool, but jiyuu had no idea how to deal with this situation and he was starting to get little headaches....

 Chapter 25 - twenty five

    After chatting with each other and sparring for some while, the members of team nine had a better understanding of each other. Orochimaru devised a plan according to each members strength and weakness. They were all set for the next day to make their journey to the destination of their mission.


    As everyone left for their own home, only Tsunade was a little sad since jiyuu have been giving her the cold shoulder through out the entire discussion. But it was only the first crush of a young girl.


    The next day all of the members of team 9 met up at the village entrance and left for their destination. Their target was around 80 Km south east from the village hidden in the leaf.


    They reached their destination by evening, it was an ordinary village. As they got close to the entrance of the village, some vigilant villagers surrounded them, holding farm equipment''s like weapons.


    The leader was a middle aged man he asked.


    " who are you, what are you here for..?"


    Seeing the hostile gazes of the villager, team 9 remained calm, only jiraya gave a small harrumph in dissatisfaction. Orochimaru stood forward and took out a scroll and said


    " We are shinobi''s from the hidden leaf village,here to complete the C rank mission of clearing the mountain bandits... please inform your village head "


    With orochimaru dealing with everything, the talks went smoothly and team 9, was invited to stay in .


    ....


    But unknown to them two hawk like eyes were keeping watch on team 9 from afar. The person watching them had green eyes and he used a special jutsu to watch team 9, from afar. He wore a mask and a flak jacket that was slate grey with neck-guard and elongated padding over the shoulders, it was held together with straps from the sides.


    The person disappeared as, team 9 entered the village. He moved fast hopping through the trees and reached a densely forested hill, where there was a wooden cabin hidden from the plain view of the outsiders. He entered the wooden cabin, the sight inside was gory there were 12 dead bodies inside, most of them had their heads separated or hearts punctured, blood was all over the place. If the villagers saw these dead bodies they would be frightened as, these were the same savage bandits who had been pestering their village and the travelers or business caravan that passed by this area.


    A beautiful woman who wore a black kimono, showing a little of her beautiful white shoulders sat in the center of the room holding a tea cup and drinking from it slowly. Her calm demeanor made one feel like the entire gory scene was a lie. Her blue eyes looked towards the entering ninja with a questioning gaze.


    The Anbu scout got on one of his knees and said.


    " Tsumugi sama the intel we got was wrong, The third hokage is not with the team that arrived, only his disciples and a new kid had come to complete the mission..."


    The beautiful lady paused for a second and her elegant demeanor changed to that of a cold and heartless woman.


    " Are you sure Aito "


    An Anbu standing behind her came forward and said.


    " Why don''t we wait for Haia''s team to return to coform this matter, Tsumugi sama..."


    Tsumugi " No need, we will meet up with them on the way, we need to conform this matter as soon as possible. This could probably be an ambush setup by the Konoha... we need to be careful "


    As she stood up one could see a peculiar sword strapped behind her, it was a narrow longsword that greatly resembled a large needle, with a long thin wire, tied through the eye located at the base of its hilt.


    The people in the cabin disappeared just like the morning mist....

 Chapter 26 - twenty six

    Tsumugi and her team met with the scouting team in the forest.


    Tsumugi "Haia what did you find out "


    Haia " my team didn''t find any hidden leaf ninjas in the vicinity... there was a message from one of our spies, it seems like team Hiruzen was disbanded and a new team was formed with his disciples and a new rookie as members ... I can''t verify if the informant deliberately hid this from us or all this is just a coincidence .... but one thing is for sure our target the third hokage didn''t leave the village "


    Tsumugi " what a waste,.... since we are here, we might as well, take care of some future troubles and nip some buds in the cradle.... we don''t need to go with the original plan, it''s just some brats..... I will leave this to your team Haia "


    ...............


    Team 9 collected all the information from the villagers and set out for the general location where the bandits were active.


    jiyuu [ why am i having a bad premonition, there shouldn''t be any big danger involved in this mission... system scan the radius in two minute intervals ]


    The other team member of the team didn''t find anything wrong. But Orochimaru was as vigilant as ever ... only Jiraya remained a little clueless ...


    As they were closing in on the location, jiyuu detected movements through his scan. He halted all of a sudden and gestured to the others.


    Jiraya " Hey , brother do you want to take a leak... you know you should take care of these things before the mission, always... look at me..."


    Orochimaru was more perceiving, after seeing jiyuu''s serious face, he interrupted jiraya and asked.


    Orochimaru " Jiraya stop. What is the matter jiyuu.."


    Jiyuu " I think someone is trying to ambush us, we need to be extra careful "


    Jiraya " what are you saying, they are some riff raff bandits... I can take care of them alone... you are a little tense because this is your first mission..."


    Tsunade " Jiraya is right jiyuu, we have completed similar mission easily .... The bandits may look ferocious but they have no real strength..."


    Orochimaru " stop it both of you, what did you find out .."


    Jiyuu " I think they are no bandits,.... they seem to be ninja''s from their speed and movement ... but i don''t know from which village... they will surround us within 10 minutes "


    Jiraya and Tsunade " what..."


    Orochimaru " how many and what level..."


    jiyuu " There are four of them, from their speed most probably chunin or above.... "


    Orochimaru " is there a way to avoid the encirclement "


    Jiyuu " i think they have a sensory type ninja among them... completely escaping would be difficult .... but there''s a chance to avoid encirclement if we moved towards 8 o'' clock..."


    Orochimaru " We can''t engage the enemy, we need a diversion .... we will use decoys to distract them and escape..."


    Orochimaru used the shadow clone jutsu, to create four clones and then transformation jutsu to change the appearance of the clones to look like that of his team members. Now the clones looked identical to team 9 members and they started moving in the original direction, while the real team 9 changed their direction to 8 o'' clock.


    Jiyuu purposefully pointed out the 8 o'' clock direction because he had already scanned and found that the ninja in that direction was weakest among the attackers and the chance of escaping was high. But still the opponent was a jonin who was recently promoted ...


    In reality the system had come up with a better plan, according to the system three clones and one real member, probably jiyuu should act as bait. The clones and jiyuu will move in the 8 o'' clock direction while the other team members will hide in the current position. jiyuu will engage the enemy in 8 o'' clock while the three clones escape, making it look like the real team members have escaped making jiyuu the decoy. Later jiyuu would also escape after attracting all the enemies towards him, making it look like everyone escaped.


    While the enemies follow jiyuu and clones, the rest of the team member would also escape and would meet up with jiyuu on a specified location. With jiyuu''s current strength this plan had a high rate of success. But jiyuu didn''t reveal this plan as it might create an argument on who should be the decoy and he also felt that, they could escape in the 8 o'' clock direction with their current strength.


    10 minutes passed by quickly, team 9 was moving with full speed, but the clones had already engaged with the first enemy that was moving from the opposite direction .

 Chapter 27 - tewenty seven

    Sometimes everything seems simple and straightforward, but trouble starts appearing the instant we think it''s all under control. Man proposes God disposes.


    The moment the clones started disappearing, the Anbu that engaged send signal to others and they started searching. Team 9 had only gotten a lead of 300 meters from the closest ninja.


    All of a sudden the system gave warning.


    { Beep.. The enemy is closing by.....


    enemy seems faster than anticipated....


    recalculating....


    probable engagement in 5 minutes...


    The enemy is stronger than anticipated and not an initial stage jonin....


    .........


    ..........

    The system was giving out warning one after another detailing the enemies movement. The mistake was not with the system, the available information was close to nil and the initial analysis was based on the amount of chakra in each opponent and not based on their skill level.


    But if the system had the information that this was a team sent to ?ssassinate the Hokage. The entire calculation would have been different and the initial plan that the system came up with would have been given more emphasis. Though the probability might have changed.


    When the enemy caught up with team 9, he instantly engaged...


    Anbu 1 " hidden mist jutsu.."


    Jiyuu [ so it''s the kiri ninjas ... system scan the surroundings and plot the optimum path ]


    Of course jiyuu could use the system and his heightened senses to easily navigate through the hidden mist, but what broke the camel''s back was the next jutsu.


    Anbu 1 " poisonous mist jutsu "


    The poisonous mist mixed with the hidden mist like a silent killer, if jiyuu was not their then team 9 would have been in bigger trouble.


    Jiyuu " The enemy is, using poison through the mist.... we need to get out from here this instant .."


    Team 9 didn''t hold back anything and used everything they had to improve their speed. But it was still not enough, the poisonous mist was spreading way too fast...


    Jiyuu gestured to Orochimaru and Jiraiya ,and said " wind"


    The three simultaneously turned around and used wind release. But other than jiyuu, both Orochimaru and jiraiya was still at an initial chunin level at most, so their range was limited and the area effect of poisonous mist was too wide....


    Even though the mist directly behind them was stalled for some time, it started surrounding them and they were inside it in no time.


    The poison in the mist was not a common one, it entered ones body even through the pores on one''s body. The first one to be affected was Jiraya, Orochimaru was resistant but still started weakening, Tsunade as a healer and Senju was much more resistant than the others. Jiyuu had no problem but his comrades started pulling him down. Jiyuu knew the enemy was catching up so he proposed.


    Jiyuu " Tsunade take Jiraya and Orochimaru, and keep on going ... I will catch up with you guys "


    Tsunade and Jiraiya " No..."


    Orochimaru " I can still fight, i will stay with you to delay the enemy..."


    Jiyuu " We don''t have time for an argument, I am immune to this poison and I have a method to delay the enemy ... don''t worry I will catch up with you guys in no time, and we will have a better chance of getting out of here, if the three of you are in your peak condition. "


    Jiraiya " but the enemy..."


    Jiraya was interrupted again by Orochimaru.


    Orochimaru " How confident are you"


    Jiyuu " About 90%..."


    Seeing jiyuu''s confident eyes, Orochimaru declared in a stern voice as the team leader.


    Orochimaru " we will proceed according to jiyuu''s plan... we will wait for you to catch up with us in half an hour .... if you don''t show up by then we will come back..."


    Jiraiya " good luck brother..."


    Tsunade " Take care of yourself jiyuu, and retreat immediately if you can''t hold on.."


    Jiyuu turned back and cracked his knuckles, while his comrades kept moving forward.

 Chapter 28 - twenty eight

    Jiyuu turned back and setup some explosive traps, which were placed meticulously. Then he controlled his body and let the poison enter his body so that he might look like, he is hurt and is sacrificing himself for his comrades, to stall for time.


    The Anbu arrived within minutes and noticed the rookie who was taking a defensive position with a kunai held in his hand. The Anbu carefully analyzed the situation and figured out that this guy was probably the scapegoat left behind by the team, he could see the poison has started affecting the other guy. The Anbu also noticed the explosive tags and traps.


    jiyuu exploded the tags that were close to the Anbu, he had also put some kunais and shurikens along with the explosive tag. Which were blasted towards the Anbu along with explosion, there was fear in the eyes of the Anbu as the kunais and shurikens hit him, but he broke out into water the next second and a voice was heard from jiyuu''s back,


    " did you really think I will fall for such petty tricks "


    Of course it was a water clone that got caught in the explosion and the real Anbu had already got past the traps to get near the target. Jiyuu jumped forward throwing some shuriken to the back, but the other guy easily avoided all the attacks and was in front of jiyuu and landed a heavy punch on jiyuu''s stomach. Jiyuu spit out some saliva along with blood and some black substance, staggering back word.


    The Anbu caught up with him again and held him up, choking him with the left hand while a kunai was held in his right hand, he muttered ..


    " I hope the other three, would be more entertaining ..."


    Jiyuu also muttered something, " caught you"


    and before he finished, he caught the anbu''s hand strongly and infused some chakra into the opponent''s body disrupting the opponent''s chakra. At the same time the shurikens which he had already thrown out and which were blasted by the explosions came back and struck the Anbu. All of them were dynamic shuriken''s . The opponent was also not slow and tried to use jiyuu as a cover, but he found that the other guy was pretty strong and didn''t budge. By the time he was already hit by several shuriken that he couldn''t avoid, it didn''t just stop there the shuriken''s themselves exploded after lodging into the opponent.

    of course jiyuu could have finished of the opponent in a much simpler manner, but he wanted to fool the enemies into thinking that Team 9 was really weak and it took a great effort to deal with an enemy. And it would have also been troublesome for jiyuu, if the opponent kept distance from him and used poison or waited for his comrades to arrive.


    jiyuu started moving again and looked for a better place to set up more traps. He soon found a much thicker forested area on the route and started preparing.


    Jiyuu [ Being rich is very handy no matter which world, the explosive tags and other weapons and materials are really costly, thankfully I brought enough materials . I should learn from this and always store more equipments and materials, who knows when such emergency might arise again...]

 Chapter 29 - twenty nine

    Three anbu''s were inspecting, the battlefield that jiyuu just left behind. The leader spoke,


    " we need to move faster or the rats might escape, Kei seems to have had an intense fight with them here... but the weird thing is, Kei didn''t leave behind any trails for us to follow afterwards .... Ruki send a message to Tsumugi sama, ..... completing this mission might be more difficult than we thought.... after all they are the disciples of the third hokage"


    Ruki " Haia sama, are you suggesting that... Kei has already been done for....."


    Haia " not necessarily, Kei is a meticulous guy and his poisons are hard to deal with.... but he loses it sometimes when he is angry. He might have been provoked by the enemy , which led to him wanting to kill the opponent himself and stopped leaving trails which we could follow... "


    The last Anbu spoke.


    " He should be taught a proper lesson, putting personal grudges above mission .... If he wasn''t from a high caste, I would have broken his bones myself....."


    Haia " rei don''t speak nonsense, you know what will happen, if someone else hears what you just said... now let''s move..."


    Jiyuu had already sealed the dead body and taken it with him, which further confused the enemy. But the enemy has also picked up their pace.


    As Haia and her team was closing to a more forested area they heard a sudden explosion, after seeing it Haia used body flicker technique and reached the spot instantly and saw Kei falling down from a tree after the explosion, He looked really, hurt blood was leaking from his mouth.


    Haia didn''t falter and caught him in the mid fall, but as she caught him, Kei struck her in the ?h?st exactly at the heart position . Haia was not slow either she kicked him away instantly but it was too late, the strike had damaged her heart and blood started leaking out of her mouth as she sat down. The other two ninjas arrived behind her immediately and one of them tried to help Haia.


    Rei " Ruki how is Haia samas condition.."


    Ruki " it''s bad, really bad ... her heart is damaged and that guy used poison, which has already infiltrated her heart .... she is dying..."


    Haia struggled to speak " retreat, go back and inform Tsumugi sama, he is not someone you can deal with easily..."


    After hearing what Haia said jiyuu''s eyes became more constricted and colder.


    Jiyuu [ There are more enemies from what she said and probably a higher level jonin, I need to kill these guys of instantly, before they alert others ....system what do you think...]

    The enemy was closing in on them, as the enemy reached nearer to a particular area jiyuu exploded an explosion tag. The enemy did a backflip and avoided the explosion. Jiyuu could see the enemy properly now, It was a lady in black who wore a mask. There was a particular thin sword that looked like a needle held behind her. But after seeing this particular sword jiyuu knew they were in trouble.


    Jiyuu [ one of the famous seven ninja swords of the mist...The Nuibari .... system we need to divert her to me .... we can''t let her go towards jiraiya his Transparent Escape Technique might be detected ...]

    Jiraya was not ideal, as he saw that the enemy had created some distance , he threw the dynamic shurikens and signaled Tsunade to take cover. Jiraya didn''t even wait for the shurikens to reach closer to the enemy and exploded it.


    The enemy was prepared and used substitution technique to avoid the explosion, but when he looked back Jiray and tsunade had already disappeared along with jiyuu. They were making a run for it.

 Chapter 36 - thirty six

    Jiraya started attaching Explosive tags on different trees and at last took out a big bundle of explosive tags which he hid among some rocks. This were all of jiyuu''s backup resources. jiraiya attached the rest of the tags along the way and when they were almost out of the smoke, jiraiya exploded it.


    The Explosion was humongous, the ninja that was following them, got caught up in the explosion and was hurt pretty badly. But luck was on team 9''s side today, as the explosion covered the area it also absorbed the oxygen in the area and further enhanced the chemicals in the smoke. Making it effect the senses of the ninja''s inside it, thankfully jiraiya and tsunade were almost outside and didn''t get severely affected.


    Jiraya, just used the explosive to stall for time, but the outcome was more unprecedented and highly in their favour. Tsunade was looking at jiraya with a weird face.


    Tsunade [ did he do it intentionally or was it just an accident...]

 Chapter 37 - thirty seven

    It was after two more hours that jiyuu woke, by the time they were already in the village, he was being carried on a stretcher. Seeing jiyuu woke up both Tsunade and Orochimaru were glad. He asked.


    Jiyuu " seeing that we are here I believe we escaped, but where is jiraiya..."


    Tsunade " that dumb ?ss he disappeared, all of a sudden... wait for me to get my hands on him, I am going to break some bones.."


    Jiyuu " what do you mean he disappeared.... I am sure he won''t abandon us..."


    Tsunade " I don''t know, he used some special jutsu when we were cornered, I thought it would be some powerful technique... but he just disappeared after using it... people are still searching for him, the hokage is personally leading the search party...."


    Jiyuu " do you know which jutsu he used ..."


    tsunade " I think it was the summoning jutsu.... that idiot used it even though he didn''t know anything about it ... but thanks to his foolishness we were saved, i don''t know what would have happened if the enemy had attacked us with full strength, jiraya''s disappearance made them wary "


    jiyuu had a vague idea of what could have happened with jiraiya, so he was not worried about the outcome. Jiraiya reverse summoned to Mount My¨­boku and learning senjutsu, were all his great fortune.


    both Tsunade and Orochimaru was taken aback, how did this guy knew. Their teacher had come to a similar conjuncture, but this guy he was only a graduate from the academy and their teacher was renowned as a professor.


    Jiyuu was soon sent to the konoha hospital, some of the small shrapnel''s were still lodged inside his body.


    jiyuu [ this time it was pretty close, I could have lost my life ... I should have been more careful, I need more power.... Thankfully this battle had given me a humongous gain, I will have to wait to check it out later...]

    The next day.


    The operation on jiyuu was more complicated since his body had already started healing with the shrapnel''s inside. Jiyuu also went into deep sleep to relieve the fatigue. When he woke up Hanari was by his side, she was sleeping but there was still some tears left on her face. Kazumi had went out to get some medicine. Jiyuu didn''t wake Hanari, he left his bed and did some small stretches.


    When Kazumi came back she was happy seeing jiyuu moving around but she scolded him for getting out of the bed, the scolding woke Hanari up and she started crying looking at jiyuu. He had to deal with two unreasonable women at the same time, he was in for a headache.


    After a while Tsunade and Orochimaru came to visit, and later duy and sakumo. jiraya''s situation was unknown. but jiyuu knew he didn''t need to worry about it. He was out of hospital after two days , he could have been out a lot earlier but Kazumi and Hanari wouldn''t let him until the doctors confirmed.


    The same day night jiyuu woke up and went to his usual training place.

    jiyuu was sitting cross legged on the small hill, and his five senses started shutting down with the count down .....

 Chapter 38 - thirty eight

    The one punch man initiative was something that the system has come up with, a long time ago, it was an initiative aimed to drastically increase jiyuu''s strength. The idea was to copy the style of Saitama ( one punch man ) and to free the limits on ones body. But according to the god''s analysis it was not so simple. One had to let go of all thoughts and focus on a single thing without any deviation and remain in that state until one adapt to that state, and throughout this one should not waver from that single thought not even for micro of microsecond, in reality no other thought should come, since time is just a concept when it comes to the mind .


    Saitama could do it because he was some kind of natural born sage, he would have become the wealthiest person on the planet or galaxy, if instead of focusing on being strong, he focused on being wealthy and rich. But jiyuu was no such natural born sage or genius, but he did receive some perks from the god, which were close enough to put him on the same level as a genius maybe even more.


    These two perks the opm system and the ancient god''s bone marrow, enabled him to achieve something similar to what some one like saitama could achieve naturally. But this initiative couldn''t be started earlier because, only after meeting certain conditions could it be initiated.


    The Ancient god''s bone marrow was something really special, it had the power to evolve and if the path of evolution was not guided it would evolve the person into the true nature of the Ancient god from whom it was taken and in jiyuu''s case a true Ancient demon probably.


    So there were two methods to utilize the bone marrow, the first being letting it evolve on it''s on and the second being a guided evolution.


    In order to achieve the guided evolution one must have a firm resolution or will, and manifest an aura out of it, which will influence the Ancient gods blood and marrow. A murderer with a resolution to murder will emit a murderous aura similarly with death aura and other auras. The aura would manifest automatically if the will was true and steady.


    Making the Ancient god blood and marrow adapt to a certain will and evolve it towards it was very difficult to achieve, as the will that evolve the aura of the ancient god must be strong enough and the new aura should also be similar to that of the ancient gods.


    jiyuu was to have a strong resolution to become strong and manifest an aura one day, but even the system didn''t know when this would happen, so the one punch man initiative was put on infinite hold, until jiyuu in his dilemma saw the scene of saitama and was influenced by it to emit a similar aura.


    In truth the scene that jiyuu saw was his imagination and the aura was also something that he imagined, some one as powerful as the One punch man would emit. This was also his answer to the dilemma and the path he would take.


    Jiyuu could only maintain his concentration for 4 minute, after that his thoughts started deviating. He forcefully tried to concentrate again.... the cycle continued until it was day .

 Chapter 39 - thirty nine

    Two more days passed by but jiyuu''s progress was close to nil. He had to postpone the usual practice with duy these two days and had meditated for full day, but the result was not that good. But something changed without he himself noticing, he had become more calm and composed, at the same time there was no killing intent or anything emitted from him, not even unknowingly. He appeared just like a normal person, not even a ninja.


    Today he had to go to the hospital and get a checkup, to certify that he was up for the next mission. As he went inside he saw a familiar face, it was Tsunade and then he saw another familiar figure it was Dan kato.


    jiyuu [ This lazy playboy, why is he here and from the looks of it he is starting to slowly get acquainted with Tsunade, Hah.... brother jiraiya I wonder if you would remain the same as in the comics... No, as a brother I need to support my friend.... But tsunade is really attractive and good looking young men would be attracted....if it wasn''t for her temper..]


    Jiyuu " what''s up tsunade, did you came to get the certificate too.."


    Even though they had some misgivings in the beginning, after being in the same team and the dangerous mission, they were developing a good relationship.


    Tsunade " hah... jiyuu, you came for the examination ..... I have already got my certificate..."


    Jiyuu " hi Dan..."


    Tsunade " hah, you know Dan ... of course you went to the academy at the same time... Dan comes to the hospital every now and then to help with what he can for the patients ... He is a really good guy... I am also thinking about joining in on his venture, but with our missions we have very less time..."


    Jiyuu [ fu?k he has already scored a five star review... Jiraiya might be a one star, no maybe a half star...]


    Dan was taken aback, He himself knew he was the strongest before this monster arrived in the class. But he had always felt that he had laid low , but this guy has recognized his secret a long time ago.


    Dan " I didn''t know some one like you would be interested in me... and I am not that strong..."


    Now Tsunade had a little doubt in her eyes, she knew jiyuu had always spoken truth and was straight forward... but she had only met Dan just now, so she was not sure. Seeds of doubts were already sown.


    jiyuu [ hehe... that''s one star down, I have helped you with what I can brother jiraiya... rest is upto you ]


    Jiyuu " I need to go, see you guys again..."


    The medical checkup went well and jiyuu was given a clean chit. Jiyuu didn''t wait long and left for the Hokage''s office.


    Hokage " I see you have fully recovered, We had completed the investigation on your previous mission, it seems you have been hiding your strength very well .... would you like to explain what happened.."


    Jiyuu explained what happened, putting almost all the credit on enemies underestimating him and the large amount of resources that he carried with him always. Hokage also knew that the victory this time heavily depended on these two factors, but he was no fool either he knew even with these two factors one needed enough strength, intelligence and determination to execute the plans properly. In Hokages opinion jiyuu was at the level of a newly appointed jonin at least.


    Hokage didn''t pry the matter any further.


    Jiyuu " Any news on jiraiya..."


    Hokage " we know he is alive, but his whereabouts are unknown... I hope he will be able to return to the village soon... I have also arranged for a search team and alerted every one outside to be on a lookout... Don''t worry he is much stronger and more intelligent than you think and his tenacity is also high, he will come back..."


    jiyuu " That''s good to know.... I too believe in him..."


    Hokage " I have a proposal for you, you wanted to join the Anbu earlier... Do you still want to join now..."

 Chapter 40 - forty

    Jiyuu " I would like to take a leave for the next 2 months and train my mind to adapt to such a situation in a better manner, after that I will join the anbu..."


    Hokage " As you wish, after dealing with that event I am also of the opinion that you should take some time off... and I also suspect something amiss with that incident, there is no definite proof but I have put someone on investigation..."

    Leaving the hokage''s office he went back to the shop, but a surprise was waiting for him there. An anbu from the root was waiting for him outside the weapon shop.


    Anbu " Lord danzo has asked to deliver the documents that you asked for... here..."


    Jiyuu received the scroll and replied.


    "please convey my thanks to lord Danzo.... the weapons that we agreed upon will be ready after 2 weeks you can come here to collect..."


    Anbu " then I will be taking my leave ..."


    Jiyuu[ interesting danzo took the initiative to deliver what I asked for, he is showing goodwill why... system analyze the current situation...]


    {Beep.... The current situation is out of the norm, danzo never takes initiative to show goodwill, unless he sees some future profit for himself or he thinks something else will affect hosts relationship with him...


    But the probability of danzo not knowing the change in team Hiruzen is low, that would mean root is not efficient which is close to nil, the other possibility is someone in root failed their task or someone in root deliberately failed the task to not deliver the updated information to the mist... there by putting host in danger... Probably has connection to Akemi''s death}


    jiyuu[ hmm... I suspected someone''s interference, and danzo is the one who will benefit most if the hokage was hurt or killed... but he doesn''t have any motive to kill me, unless it''s related to that guy Akemi, But I have left behind no evidence.... If he had some kind of technique or diviner it would be possible... but if he was confident that I was the murderer then he would not have left me off like that or to an uncertain mission of the mist... and now he is showing good will ..... probably one of Akemi''s friends or comrades doubts that it was me and did this with their on private intentions.... hah, what is the point of deliberating over this, I will wait for the enemy to make his next move and counter... system keep analyzing all the possible steps the enemy would take...]


    After doing routine visit to the shop he went to his room and opened the scroll that was delivered. It was filled with documents a lot mores than jiyuu was hoping for. But the information and research data where all, buried inside the large amount of misinformation.


    But this was no problem for jiyuu with the help of the system, jiyuu didn''t even have to read through all this information system would automatically scan through it and then analyze.


    This was not the first time that the System did something like this. Jiyuu;s frequent visit to hokage''s office had its on hidden agendas, while he was there he would let system scan all the mission report and any other data that was accessible without getting detected. This didn''t just stop at Hokage''s office, system collected information from wherever it could, like hospital, library, academy, even account books of shops...


    This helped system to match data with each other and analyze it more efficiently. The more information system had, better its analyzes was and more correct conclusions it arrived at.


    Scanning only took half an hour but analyzing took two more days. Jiyuu was indulged in his meditation even though his progress was very slow.

 Chapter 41 - forty one

    28 days passed by meditating when jiyuu finally found some progress, now he could feel that aura a little bit. According to the system jiyuu could maintain that aura for 0.5 second. But he was invincible in that 0.5 second then it would take a toll on his mind and soul to maintain further.


    jiyuu [ finally I have a real trump card... Even if it is for 0.5 second, it''s worth it... system give me a detailed analysis..]


    {beep... host can maintain the one punch man aura and strength for 0.5 second then at least 24 hours rest is needed, trying to maintain the aura for more time will lead to unforeseen complications or death....


    Host is able to carry out the normal series move, normal punch within one second...

    Host has started losing his hair trying to maintain the strong aura, but due to the effect of Ancient god''s blood the lost hair is growing back....}

    jiyuu met up with duy''s usual training spot. Duy had completely changed by now he was full of confidence and a smile hung around his face all the time. He could use ninjutsu now like other normal ninjas and with the addition of his expertise in taijutsu, he was really a tiger with wings. But he never became arrogant or stopped his handwork and training, Now he could draw with Sakumo... but Sakumo was more intelligent and in real life situation the balance might tip towards Sakumo, after all he was an unprecedented genius.


    Jiyuu and Duy sparred for some time and they were closing to the climax of the duel Duy used the leaf whirlwind kick, but jiyuu didn''t dodge or block it was like he didn''t care whether the hit land on his head... Duy was taken aback he couldn''t stop his full power move, he was expecting that jiyuu would block or dodge...


    When the wind and dust cleared, Duy was surprised to find that one of his strongest kick was stopped by a single finger.


    Duy " you...you.. how did you do it.. not even a jonin can take my kick so effortlessly with a single finger.."


    Jiyuu " This is a new technique that I invented, but it consumes too much energy and mental strength..."


    Duy " I have only heard of the raikage from the kumo who could use such power with a single finger..."


    The mood changed all of a sudden, Duy knew he had accidentally scratched some wound he shouldn''t have. A cold glint passed through jiyuu''s eyes as he heard the name kumo. But he didn''t show much of a reaction to Duy and left after bidding farewell.


    As destiny has it, when he reached near his house someone was standing there. An anbu from root he delivered a scroll and disappeared. Jiyuu returned home and opened the scroll, as he read what was inside, he started clenching his fist...


    jiyuu [ .... finally, a mission to kumo... It says further details will be provided if I join the mission, I need to report after three days... system how is the data collected on Kumo ...]


    {beep... there is a vast amount of data on Kumo that have already been sorted out .... geographical data is almost 70% complete, the other data relating to their language difference ethnicity and society needs more information to be sorted out properly... different kind of techniques have been analyzed but the data is also limited due to the availability of these information being lower..... with this mission we can collect a large amount of data, that can help us in the future.... But it is advised that host don''t plan on dealing with the remains of Kinkau forces on this mission ˇ­}


    Jiyuu [ hmm...system prepare a list of equipments and materials, so that even if we have to go on dragged out battle it should be enough...]

 Chapter 42 - forty two

    Three days were not much, but with the help of the system and jiyuu''s own continuous practice. He was able to gain a better understanding of his new trump card. The one punch man could travel from moon to earth in 1.5 seconds without exerting his whole power, even though jiyuu was not even close to that level. But if he could use the 0.5 seconds efficiently it was a true trump card.


    Jiyuu has not yet gained the super sense of saitama which needed more meditation and practice. But his own sense when he used the power of ancient gods blood to utmost was on a really high level, close to saitama in his normal state.


    He was to meet up with the root anbu in a specific location, outside the village in a forested area. As he arrived at the place he did a scan and found out that there were three anbu in stealth with huge distance separating them from each other and they were spread in different directions. While one was just standing beside a tree in the open. Jiyuu stopped before the person who was standing in the open.


    The guy standing before him was a high level jonin, and among-st the three hidden he found one low level jonin and two high level chunin. He was surprised to find that the low level jonin had emitted a faint killing intent when he arrived, which was hidden away quickly.


    The Anbu standing under the tree spoke " I am Haruto, I will be leading the team if you choose to join our mission. So what is your decision will you be joining this mission. "


    Jiyuu " yes , I will be joining..."


    Haruto " good, I have read your report and seen that you are a sensory type, just to gauge your skills, can you locate my companions... even though lord danzo has specified that you will be participating in this mission as a noncombatant, no one can truly predict what will happen even during a peaceful mission. So It would help me a lot while we are on the mission, if you could speak about your strong points....."


    Jiyuu located the three ninjas easily. Haruto was very happy with the result and called his companions back and introduced them. the low level jonin was a woman called Kokoro, one of the chunin was a boy called itsuki and the last chunin was a girl called Emica.


    Jiyuu was surprised to see that they removed their masks and revealed their faces. jiyuu soon found out the reason, Haruto explained that this was an infiltration mission in which they have to infiltrate the village hidden in the clouds as the servants of a merchant . The objective was to collect certain information.


    Since they couldn''t wear mask on this mission or use transformation technique, they chose to reveal their faces a little earlier to jiyuu. Haruto gave jiyuu another scroll detailing the mission and told him the time of departure along with location.


    Jiyuu left the team after some more conversation and introductions of each other abilities. He had been keeping an eye on kokoro even though she showed a cold and aloof feature outside, jiyuu could detect that she was not at all calm on the inside. With the help of system he knew her heartbeat was raising from time to time while she was trying to hold her anger and killing intent back.


    System had already deduced that this might have something to do with that guy Akemi. So Jiyuu asked the system to prepare for contingency plans in case something unforeseen happens.

 Chapter 43 - forty three

    The next day jiyuu arrived at the meeting point and met with the team. They started moving after a short while. The journey was long, he had traveled out of the village before, but this was the longest journey that he had undertaken. The natural beauty of the Naruto world was something that he had only seen in pictures in his previous life.


    When they finally entered the Land of lightning, Jiyuu was awe struck by the natural beauty of this place. There were sky high majestic mountains which kissed the sky, rivers that flowed from these mountains had there on beauty and all kinds of flora and fauna existed in this place. The team didn''t move through the coast line so jiyuu didn''t see the oceans which were much more beautiful than the mountains according to Haruto.


    Jiyuu''s mind was only mesmerized by the beauty of this land for a short while, when he remembered that this was the home of his enemy, coldness returned to his eyes.


    After reaching a certain forested area they stopped, this was close to a village. When it was night someone came out of the village and brought two carts pulled by horse along. This was one of the spies that root have planted, this persons major task was to gather materials and equipments needed for the ninjas that were on mission here. After talking with Haruto for a while he left.


    When the daylight arrived the whole team had changed their attire and was in poor commoners clothing and they got on the cart which was already loaded with some crops and vegetables. The materials were to be sold at the next town. Villagers coming to sell their product in the small town was a common thing so they didn''t receive any unwanted attention.


    After getting inside the town, they went to a textile shop, the owner of the shop welcomed them and closed the shop slowly after they entered, the owner was a long term spy of root. His name was Aito, he has been living the life of a clothe merchant for a long time.


    He had special access to the village hidden in the cloud, as a supplier for some clothes shops in Kumo. For this very reason he was a highly valued ?sset of the root.


    The team was ?ssembled in a closed room along with Aito, this was a special room which didn''t leak any sound out. After seating themselves around a table they started discussing the details of the mission.


    A very prominent person from the country of lightning , the younger brother of the current Lightning Daimy¨­, was visiting the village hidden in the cloud. His name was Chimon and he was vocal advocator of strengthening the military might, his visit to the the Kumogakure didn''t smell good for the other hidden villages especially for the leaf since the previous incident. The root wanted to know what was the purpose of his visit.


    There were even some rumors that he had some dealings with the kinkau forces. When the discussion reached these parts a cold glint flashed through jiyuu''s eyes. But the system reminded jiyuu to not lose his cool. jiyuu has been closely monitoring Kokoro through out the


    journey and he had a really bad feeling about her. He had also found that she was closely monitoring him. The system reminded him again to not lose cool and give the enemy a chance.


    The plan was finalized with, Haruto and Itsuki becoming Aito''s servants and Konkoro Haruto''s wife and their cook while jiyuu there innocent son. They will travel along with Aito to deliver the cloth materials this time to kumogakure. while Emica would stay out at a designated place in stealth outside the borders of the village hidden in the cloud. So that in case some mishaps happen she could provide some support and setup some trap in advance to aid in their escape.


    At first jiyuu was suppose to stay with Emica and out of danger. But jiyuu insisted on going into the village. Since kumo wouldn''t give much attention to a small kid in a party, Haruto agreed at last.

 Chapter 44 - forty four

    It took two days for the cloth merchant caravan to arrive at the village hidden in the cloud, the security checks were stringent. But the root Anbu had their on ways of hiding their chakra, so did jiyuu, Everything went smoothly. They arrived a day earlier than their target and observed the situation.


    The chunin itzuki had a special technique which made his stealth almost impossible to detect, he also had another special technique to enhance his hearing. With both these techniques he was very good at spy work. Itzuki was supposed to infiltrate the target Chimon''s, guest residence and collect as much information as possible, while Haruto and Kokoro kept a watch out for any enemy movements.


    Itzuki had already infiltrated the guest residence even before the guest arrived, and stayed in stealth inside the house. while Haruto and kokoro kept watch in different direction for any unusual movements.


    Jiyuu on the other hand moved around the village collecting information, neither the ninjas or the common people gave much importance to a small boy who was playing around. Jiyuu had stayed around a bar while playing with a toy for sometime.


    It was because jiyuu had found many people with chakra in this bar, this place was like drive bar and the frequent visitors where Kumo ninjas. Jiyuu listened in on there chatter for quite some time, but he didn''t receive the information that he was specifically looking for.


    He had not got what he wanted but he was able to collect many other information relating to a wide range of things but as he was returning to the place where the cloth merchant has arranged for them to stay. He heard someone speaking about a conflict that happened between some ninjas who were returning from their mission and possibly a remnant from the kinkaku force. The ninja from the kinkaku force was able to escape, even though he was pretty badly injured.


    Jiyuu was able to get a general location from the discussion, jiyuu had to follow this lead. He was hoping to get some time to investigate this matter after the current mission was over.


    When he returned to the place, he saw that the place was being observed and some ninjas have already captured Aito, he knew kokoro had made her move... he turned back and tried to make an escape when one of the kumo ninja noticed him and one of the employees started to say something after pointing at him.


    Jiyuu didn''t waste time, he ran for a crowded place. But kumo ninjas were not slow either, one of them was using body flicker and keeping an eye on jiyuu from above the buildings... jiyuu took an abrupt right turn and entered an ally.


    But when the ninjas who thought they had cornered the prey arrive, they found that the ally was empty. They turned the place upside down and asked for more reinforcement to search the whole area.


    Jiyuu was long outside the village boundaries, even before the first ninja arrived at the ally. This time he had used his new gained power the aura along with the ancient gods senses. He knew he was in one of the most dangerous places that he could be.


    If he had delayed even a second he would be completely surrounded and the enemy would have a great advantage in every field. Not even with all the resources and strength he had acquired could he deal with such a situation... so he didn''t even need to think before using his trump card, and it was really effective as the system suggested.


    The experience of 0.5 second of unimaginable power was a new experience for jiyuu. he had used the power before, but always stopped before 0.3 seconds according to the systems suggestions... since his body and mind hadn''t completely adapted to this power, he had to start by using smaller amount of time.


    When he moved he felt like he was flash of the DC world and he didn''t know where his speed limit would be if he kept accelerating. But blood started coming out of his nose as soon as he completed the 0.05 seconds. System had been recording every minute detail of his body through this whole process.


    After resting for a while, he went to the gathering point but stayed in stealth. He had already noticed Emica who was also in stealth and waited along.

 Chapter 45 - forty five

    they didn''t have to wait much, soon Haruto, kokoro and itzuki arrived they were all injured, they had clearly gone through some dangerous battle . The mission had gone awry, itzuki was badly injured and close to death, when they regrouped with Emica.


    Haruto " Kokoro you were supposed to leak only jiyuu''s whereabouts how did it end up like this... We had agreed that we will let kumo ninja deal with jiyuu, while we complete our mission and escape ... "


    Jiyuu [ so all of these guys were in on it... Haruto guy should be given an Oscar, by the way he acted around me, I thought he might not be involved in Kokoro''s scheme. Or did Hanzo himself give an order to take care of me ... that seems less likely, Danzo has a profitable relationship with me and he won''t harm me unless it''s necessary...]


    Itzuki " you people did all this to set jiyuu up.... Lord Danzo will not forgive you..."


    Kokoro " who is going to tell lord Danzo... you, but you have already died on the mission along with Jiyuu.."


    As Kokoro said that, Amica had appeared behind itzuki and stabbed her ninjaken into itzuki''s right leg, while Haruto stabbed his Kunai into his left leg...


    Itzuki tried to fight back but he was already pretty badly injured and was close to losing consciousness ...


    Haruto " jiyuu was to engage with kumo ninja''s and make huge commotion while we escape... how did the Kumo ninjas end up focusing on us instead.... are sure he was dealt with Kokoro..."
