Each ability is equal to a world-class item by itself. 1 World Tree Year 2126AD, was a revolutionary era where technology had experienced rapid growth. Things once thought as mere ramblings of lunatics are now a reality. One of these advances of technology happens to be, Virtual Reality, which makes the imagination real, to some extent. This was a blessing to the people of this world since there was nothing in the real world waiting for them. All that was there, was a world covered in grey clouds all year round, radiation, poison, and extreme coldness that would immediately make one a popsicle even when it was summer. For one to enjoy the world that host them, they must wear a mask or do enchantment on their bodies to be able to breathe the dead air, all around them. However since just enchantment is too expensive for the common people, only a few people have access to it. Because of things like privileges that the rich have and the poor don''t, an invisible rift divide society or what''s left of it. Because of the reason above, when a new game, which was more exciting than the real world emerges, many people found some kind of solace to their life. This solace was Yggdrasil, a revolutionary game to all communities of society. Not much is known about the company that created Yggdrasil, other than the eleven Devs, who govern the game system. And the fact it was a place on the Japanese market first, which later had servers in other countries. Yggdrasil was base on Norse Mythology and remnants of other mythologies. However, Norse Mythology was the main theme of the game. There are nine worlds, inside Yggdrasil, Asgard, Alfhiem, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard, Jotunheim, Helheim, and Muspellsheim. Each world had there own unique features and theme, some hot, some cold, some dark, some bright. All nine worlds had a bottomless and immersive backstory that had more to it, than what was seen on the surface. Even if it seems one had reached the end of a chain quest, would it really be so? There were over a thousand playable races, hidden or rewarded. Some of the races are so game-breaking that the requirements of obtaining them are even more difficult than defeating a World Boss, which is crazy since a World Boss is the most powerful NPC of a world, at that given time. One could gain races like Minor God, World Devil, which are races that have never been seen in the game before. On the surface, the game has seven hundred spells, however, one would be a fool to assume that, after all, Yggdrasil is a game where one must obtain all the information they needed themselves. There are over ten thousand spells, which makes it difficult for someone else to have the same assortment of spells. Especially since a normal player would have access to 300 spells and 30 Super Tier spells, however one must not assume one can only use 300 normal spells and 30 Super Tier spells because they would be dead wrong. As a consequence of the freedom of the game and the number of races, spells, quests, data, etc.. One could customize their character to be whoever they want them to be, from a Divine Chef to a God (AN: not a real God just someone who has lots of divine spells). This was also the reason this game was heaven for role players. They could escape and become who they wanted to be deep inside. ~Somehwere Else~ Shin Konohara had just log into the game, reminiscent of how amazing the game was. Currently, many years have gone by and the game was on the verge of being shut down. Shin was disappointed about the outcome of all his hard work, true it was only a game to most, to him it was his life, as this place was where all his energy had gone to. Shin as a Dev of the game, a Primary Dev at that was quite upset since he had created a guild inside the game, something a Dev was not supposed to do. This guild made his lonely and bleak life had some semblance of meaning. All his thoughts and ideas could manifest inside of it. However, this only makes the shut down of the game even more heartbreaking for him. There are two kinds of Devs inside the game, Primary Dev and Assistant Dev. Primary Dev is only number elven, with the Assistant Devs underneath them, which numbered in the hundreds. After all, there is no way eleven people could monitor everything in such a massive game. The Primary Devs are the leaders and Assistant Devs work under them to make their ideas a reality. He was the Rule Creation Dev in charge of all rules inside the game. He could change the rules in a specific place, having complete control over it. Appearing inside the game at his last mark location, Shin appeared as his game character, Lain End Chaos a Chaos Titan, undoubtedly the strongest race inside the game. The race had infinite mana, infinite strength making them able to withstand far more than other races. It''s other stats we''re at the very least three times that of a regular, which doesn''t mean 3 players would able to beat him. Even a party consisting of thirty max level players couldn''t harm him. Another thing that made the Chaos Titan a powerful race was that its max level is 400 making it far stronger than any player. Shin had requested the aid of Jesus Trego, the Race Creation Dev in order to add it to the backstory of Yggdrasil. However, a problem happens when Jesus sent the application to Don Trevor the Chief Dev, who had oversight over all Devs. The Chief requested for their do be a weakness to the race. One such weakness was the amount of Super Tier spells it could use, which is a lowly fifteen and the other was this race can only be used by Devs, making the Chaos Titan the Dev Race. To most, the weaknesses seem major however is that really the case? A simple [Fireball] after having infinite mana could reach a similar infinite size, with frightening temperature. Not only that, to Shin, who can simply use [Rule Creator] his Dev skill, to remove the shortcoming of his race temporarily, which put him ahead of the other Devs in power. As for making the Chaos Titan Race a Dev Race, it''s not a big problem, since there are only a few devs compared to the millions of players. Plus, even with these weaknesses, Lain could easily kill World Bosses since they were programs at the end of the day, with a fixed pattern for stacks. To give an idea of how strong a Chaos Titan was, one must look at World Class Items. At the beginning of the universe, Yggdrasil was root at its center, with thousands of worlds on its branches, however, a catastrophe struck in the form of the World Devourer which slowly ate the trees from its roots. As the World Devourer ate the tree, many leaves fall off becoming World Class items. A World-Class item contains the same amount of power as an entire world, which is able to affect the balance of the game. (AN: World Devourer is an epic World Boss even by World Boss standards. It alone made Yggdrasil what it is, so one can tell how strong it is.) A Chaos Titan is able to overcome the power of World-Class items, and not even being injured in the least. The only thing that can kill a Chaos Titan other than luck is the nine Transcendent Class Item. A Transcendent Class Item is above World-Class Item and can destroy a world with ease. According to the backstory of these items, they are weapons destined for the nine World Saviors who will return Yggdrasil to its hay day of being the core of the universe. (AN: I can''t remember seeing World Savior in Overlord light novel or web novel, maybe I overlook it?) Shin didn''t appear fully in his Chao Titan form since if he did, he would be taller than anything on the planet, his full form was over 6000 meters tall, which was terrifying, to say the least. Shin has use [Lurkering Monster] a racial skill that lower his level to a hundred and decrease his body size to 2 meters. His game character was dress in black armor, that covered his entire body up. The armor was well made, with devil horns curving backward, his visor showed pitch-black eyes that seem to devour the soul. Shin looks around his surroundings and saw he was on Midgard his favorite world. It was model after the Earth, meaning its skies were blue and the land was full of life. Shin was not worried since even in his weakened state, he could thwart anything. Midgard was after all the weakest world of the nine worlds, and it did not become conquered because of a few God-Level beings from the different pantheons. Shin looks around before teleporting to his guild, the World Tree Guild, he had to keep his guild a secret after all. The World Tree Guild was located outside the world of Midgard, towering over the heavens. No, it was better to say the guild exists outside the boundaries of Yggdrasil itself. It needed room to grow to become the second Yggdrasil. The tree was golden with a golden hue that surrounds it, making it look divine. The tree had five worlds, the root being the first world, the trunk being the second world, the west branch being the third world, the east branch being the fourth world and the branch pointing to the heaven is the last world. The World Tree Guild was designed by Mark Twain, the Dungeon Creation Dev, the second famous Dev after the Myth Creation Dev, Christopher Dennis. The guild was made with the idea of evolution, uniqueness, and power in mind, and it lives up to its name. Not only because of the number of NPCs, it''s data capacity, but the amount of damage it could withstand. The guild could withstand five of the nine transcendent items before it would collapse. However, it''s hard if that would be the case in the future. (AN: A bit of foreshadowing) Because the World Tree Guild was designed by Mark Twain, it had unique features that made it stand out from the others, especially the backstory that was given to it. The backstory alone made it so it was the number one guild then could never be surpassed in the future. The backstory was that the World Tree Guild was a seed of Yggdrasil, a tree which will take the place of Yggdrasil after it falls. It has a way to evolve, which in the future would make it able to contend with Yggdrasil. The current world tree had only had five worlds, Hell, Nether, Earth, Heaven, and Golden Nation. Hell, was the root of the World Tree Guild, a place which was cover in black clouds and infernal fire that could burn even Divine Class Items to ash. This place was full of demons, devils and other beings of demonic and evil nature. Hell was responsible for punishing the sinners who had died and fell from grace. Because the roots of the World Tree pierce into the fabric of space-time, it makes it so only people with spacetime magic, or a World-Class item, could enter. That''s even if they could manage to go outside the boundaries of Yggdrasil to invade it. Nether, was the trunk of the World Tree, which was cover in green clouds and floating Lanterns. This place host all the souls that die, and needed to decide where to send them after going through judgment. Good souls go up and bad ones go down. (AN: I seem to have copied the concept of the Bible somewhat and made it my own. I wonder if I''m going to hell now, lol.) Earth is the world on the west branch, which has the most living creatures, such as Goblins, Dragons, Elves, Humans, even Fallen Angels, etc. This world is the central place in the world, where everything beginning so they can end. Heaven is the world on the east branch, which is a place full of clouds made of many colors, with a giant tower standing erect on it. Inside Heaven are souls that have done good, and not commit crimes to fall Hell. There also Angels, Celestials, Saint Dragons, Swans, etc. Golden Nation is the last world of the guild, the one on the branch towering into heavens. This is the last world which was the core of the guild. There were Titans, Giants, and other powerful creatures that protected this world from harm. Even a World Champion would think twice before they enter this world. Shin teleported to his Golden Nation, arriving next to Bohi Immortal Room. This was a library that houses all the books, tomes, and spells inside the guild. It''s was design to look like a smaller tree, inside a room. The tree looks like the tree that Buddha sat underneath for over a month without eating, before achieving enlightenment. For one to receive what they need, one must sit underneath the tree and give knowledge in return. That means the Bohi Immortal Tree was a sentient tree however it was only level 1, making it easy to destroy. It was one of the Seven Wonders of the Guild. The so call Seven Wonders of the World Tree Guild, are level one NPCs who basically joke characters. They all have special jobs inside the guild, an example would be the Bohi Immortal Tree and Void Serpent, who controls all teleportation across worlds inside the guild. Shin walks through the corridors, and winding hallways, Shin finally reached his throne door. On the way, Shin came across many NPCs servants. These servants were all above level 40, a decent force to be reckoned with, against anyone able to reach this world. These NPCs numbers in a large number, able to defeat a good number of max level players. Each of these servants we''re bigger than usual, being at least 20 meters tall. However Shin contemplate that from his perspective, in his true form, humans were bacteria, Giants were ants, a titan being a human, even that was a stretch since he was too big, he couldn''t really tell the difference. At the front of the throne room door, two titans towering over many other NPCs stood like metal statues. They were wearing golden armors that had an insignia of the guild at their chest, a black fist grasping a golden tree. In their hands, a golden spear pointed towards the skies, with lightning and fire rising alternating off the spears and a shield that was pitch black. If he wasn''t wrong these two should be around level 70 and guards the hallways, not the throne room. After all, if someone could reach here, only he could kill them. As the presence of Shin near them, they bowed and push opened the throne door open like puppets. With the door opened, one could witness the vast room within its confines. At the far end of the room, a tall black throne rested, absorbing the light in the room, putting it in a sense of chaos. Pillars raise the ceiling of the throne room up, however, the throne room had no ceiling. One shouldn''t be fool by this though as this room was able to withstand the power of many world-class items and not fall. That was because, the roof was indestructible, almost like an Artifact Class item. It was indestructible but that didn''t mean attack outside couldn''t pass through and affect the throne room. However, Shin was willing to forgo complete defense for an indestructible roof, because even if the attack can pass through the roof, the items inside the throne room would halt and absorb it. Since the pillars where white and the throne was black, it gave a sense of charm and unity. Above the ceiling, one could see a giant statue standing erect in the skies, having a likeness to Shin''s game character. Walking into the throne room, Shin approaches the throne, while looking around, seeing his insignia adorning the walls, with the biggest one being the throne. Shin sat on the throne, making the throne power up and shrink to match his current size. The throne is called the Throne of Chaos by Shin and even though it wasn''t a World-Class item or even a Divine Class Item, it was more suited to match his taste. The Throne of Chaos was fixed to its location and cannot be move, not only that it draws it''s power from all the five worlds, making it able to subdue anyone in the guild. So to Shin is item was more powerful than a Transcendent Class Item. Shin looked at the corner of his eyes and saw the timer for the shutdown of the game rapidly coming closer. ''It seems it would be somewhat fun to have a Guild Weapon for the guild. However, the consequences of its destruction are too big. I have bypassed that restriction and made myself the guild weapon of the World Tree, as long as I don''t die, the guild won''t be destroyed. However, to fool the Chief Dev, I created a fake guild weapon that had some control over the guild.'' "Come, The Orb of World Show your might for the destruction of Yggdrasil!" Shin reached into his inventory and pull out a single orb which upon appearance started to float in the air. Shin grabs the Orb of the World, causing it to transform into a huge halberd. The halberd was 3 meters long and foot wide, is a huge weapon by mortal standards. The shaft of halberd was black with red blood vessels on its surface, looking creepy. The blade of the halberd was pitch black. Boom!Boom! Shin slam the bottom of the halberd on the ground, causing the ground to shake and quiver as if in fear. For some reason, as he held the Orb of World, he felt more at ease about the shut down of the game. Shin wanted to use, [Slash of Heavens Monarch] a blade strike that could sever reality like [Reality Slash] which is a Tenth Tier Spell, however, this attack lasts longer and has a wider range AOD. Not even a World Boss could come out unscathed. Closing his eyes, unknowingly to him, back at Yggdrasil Management, we''re his real body was sleep at, tears were flowing out of his eyes. The timer struck 00:00:00, meaning the game was completed, there is no more Yggdrasil, or would there ever be a game that could equal it. Even Yggdrasil''s current rival [Rise of Myths] couldn''t. Shin''s vision became black, as everything seems to fade away from view. When he came to, Shin calmy look around his surroundings, gripping his Orb of the World, tightly. Shin internally tried to message GM, which was ironic since he had a higher status than the GM. He didn''t get any response, making him alarm, he tried to log out, however, be didn''t feel he connected to the server. He knows how it feels, after all, he was one of the people involved in creating the game. Opening his free hand, Shin could feel a heat flowing through his body and converging at his palm when fire appeared. Shin could smell everything in the room, feel his grip on the halberd, he could feel the energy coursing through it. Shin looks up into the skies and what he saw shook him a little as he saw his statue looking down at him. TO BE CONTINUE ? 2 Supreme God Shin with his IQ 190, was able to get an idea of his situation after a moment. (AN: IQ of 190 should be high since Albert Einstein had an IQ of around 240.) What made him even surer was his statue floating above him. His statue was still looking down at him, seeming to ask why he was confused about his situation. Shin was sure that he was inside the game or inside another world, either way, he wasn''t connected to Earth anymore. As a Dev, Shin knew there wasn''t a Yggdrasil II, and if there was, he wouldn''t have wasted his time being upset at the fate of the first game. Still gripping his halberd, he commands his statue to return back in place. His statue was a rare statue created by rare materials, making it extremely powerful, however, what was even more amazing was the fact it had half of his power and only he can control it. Shin relaxed, leaning back on his throne, wondering what he should do now. He was free from his captor, Earth, and his job as a Dev. He had nothing to do, but if he was in another world, he could explore and have fun and if he was in the game, he would probably be the only sentient creature around, making him probably go insane, especially since it seemed he was stuck in his game characters body, which was immortal, ''undying''. He removes his helmet, exposing his pale features, with long black hair that was thick as vipers. His eyes were golden like two solar suns, his brows we''re sharp and imposing. His ears were pointed, not unlike an elf. Shin taps the place in front of himself, causing a screen to appear. He was looking at the data of the guild. He saw the date capacity remain infinite, which was placed by Mark Twain after his begging. This was a feature that made it so, as long as he conquered land, the guilds data capacity will increase and the World Tree Guild would become an entity like Yggdrasil if not stronger. Shin conjured five mirrors in front of him, looking at the five worlds he created and was amazed. Everything seems to have changed and move according to the script he wrote but also different as well. * Hell, the roots of the World Tree was covered in dark clouds and infernal fires. The demons, devils and the other fiendish creatures could be seen with many see-through figures chain up behind them, being drag across literal magma. These demons we''re working as a group and where we''ll discipline, not something one would expect from creature symbolic with Evil. The Nether World was covered in green fog, along with an uncountable amount of lanterns, floating in the skies of the world. The lanterns, we''re odd and seem to contain a mysterious power. This world was operating as it was written in its backstory, it collects all the souls of the dead, and judge them if they should go up or down. There were many undead beings roaming the land of the Nether World, absorbing the green fog, increasing their capabilities to an alarming figure. Unlike Hell which was more brutal and savage, Nether World seemed to be more civilized with far more rules set in place. Earth was more joyful and lively than both Hell and Nether combined, seeing as it houses almost all the living creatures of the guild. Above the blue skies of earth, a large red sun seems to blaze the skies crimson, however, oddly enough the ground was not hot. Also in the skies was a large rectangular moon that looks odd and unsettling for some reason. The moon also expressed more pressure on Earth than the sun, especially since it occupied a larger portion of the sky. The ground was full of life, many creatures in fact, while not all the creatures from Yggdrasil, many of them where there. Humans, which seem to control an entire continent, with many cities, countries, and states. Elves share a continent with many other races such as Dwarfs, Centaur, Beastmen, etc. Dragon that lived in harmony with other beasts, such as Phoenix, Griffins, Hydra, etc. Heaven, the destination of all the good and bless souls that have been judged in the Nether World. The Tower of Heaven which was located on the many colorful clouds, pulse and tremble to send shockwaves across the heavens, only being stopped by a divine looking bridge that pierces throughout the nine floors of the Tower of Heaven to the outside. The bridge was pure blue, which was it seem as if was made of water. Inside the Tower of Heaven, Angels and many other divine beings we''re moving like clockwork as they go from one level of the tower to the next. The Tower of Heaven seems to have divided into different worlds, with different beings residing on them. The first level, which is also the largest was occupied by seen through people, which were the new souls that went to heaven. The second floor consisted of angels, and so on. (AN: I want to create a sense of mystery, which I Hope was achieved with this version.) The last world, Golden Nation, which Shin currently resides at, was stagnant with everything remaining the same, just like in the game. Giants, Titans, dragons, etc, constantly scope the world, looking for any threat or enemies. While working, the sole continent of this world, Divine Continent, operating just like Earth, only the inhabitants were like heavenly pillars with their large size. A breath from these figures could cause a mortal from Earth to be blown away. As everyone goes about their day, once noon struck, no matter what they were doing, even if they were killing each other, they stopped and kneel towards the floating statue in the skies, with devotion and piety as if seeing their God. * Witnessing all of this himself, even though it took a couple of days to make sure he was not missing anything, he was, please. During this time, he was surprised that he was not tired or hungry. Shin felt he could go on for eternity without a sip of water or food. Looking back towards the screens in front of him, he concluded all the NPCs gained genuine life and were not different than humans back at his old home. They were probably better, especially since they don''t use technologies that could corrupt this world like Earth. What was even odder was even the World Tree which shouldn''t have life, had it. How he found out was because he felt a connection like a [Message Spell] in his head, from which a baby voice came out of. For some reason, the World Tree calls him ''Father'', which he accepted after some thought. He did help in its creation, it was his idea for it to be a tree, however at the end of the day, Mark Twain was its creator. When he closed his eyes, he felt a towering life force that was like flames that couldn''t be extinguished. The flames seem eternal, especially when he felt a familiar aura from it. It was his brand or his connection to the World Tree. It was the connection that was formed after he made himself the Guild Weapon of the guild. He still had complete control over the guild. Shin tried to sense things other than the World Tree and was amazed as he could see everything inside the guild, from the soul of someone to the number of wrinkles on their skin. Shin felt he had ascended from a mortal(Earth Body) to become God. It wouldn''t be far off since as a Chaos Titan, there was little he couldn''t do. Sitting on his throne, Shin''s mind wonder, ''I''m the Guild Master of the World Tree, which should make all the NPCs unconsciously obey me. However, I can''t work on assumptions, I need tangible facts, my new life depends on it. If all my power works as in the game, even if all the NPCs rebel, I can steamroll them. If that doesn''t work, hahaha, with me making myself the Guild Weapon back in the game, I control their life and deaths!!!'' Shin golden eyes emit a cold light before shining bright again, making it seem one had imagined the cold light. Maybe even he wasn''t aware of it. "Now, it all comes down to me still having my powers. I need to find a place to test my power, mmmm, Golden Nation is a bad choice too many high tier NPCs, Heaven is a bad choice as well, if the Tower of Heaven went into attack mode, even I will have to be careful. Earth is the best choice, not a lot of strong NPCs, and more space to test my strength." Shin got up from his throne with the halberd in his hand, Shin walked towards a teleportation gate, preparing to descend to Earth. The reason he didn''t just teleport was that although he was the master of the tree, that doesn''t mean he was stupid enough to risk his life on a gamble. To teleport anywhere inside the guild, it''s best one use the teleportation gates scattered across the tree. If one tried to teleport across worlds, the Void Serpent can easily send you somewhere you wouldn''t want to be. However, if you use the teleportation gates, the Void Serpent cannot interfere other than not activating the gates. Shin walked near the door of the Throne Room and look down at the circle engraved on the ground. He had placed the circle there because he wanted to be able to intimidate anyone teleported here, especially as he acts the part as a God. He was after all a big fan of the old books of the Pure Era of Earth, where individuals would be brought from their worlds and go on missions at the request of the God that summoned them. (AN: I think anyone can figure out what books I''m talking about, Light novels, more accurately, Isakai novels) It was a shame that he never got to play that role. No one had ever attacked the guild, maybe no one other than some Devs even knew the guild existed. Stepping inside the circle, Shin''s vision turns black before recovering as he arrived in an unknown place. Then closes his eyes sensing everything and knew he was on Earth, on the Beast Continent at that, far away from the two Guardians of this world, Gaia and Raul. (AN: I''m going to call this ability which he uses to see the entire guild with a God view, World Connection since he relies on his connection with the World Tree to activate it) Earth as the main focus of the guild had more protection in the form of Guardians, which numbered two, Gaia, Mother Goddess, and Raul, Emperor of the Earth. Using [World Connection], Shin didn''t sense any powerful creatures in his immediate area, so he ventured deeper into the Beast Continent. As he went deeper into the continent, the young trees that were around him, transformed into Ancient Trees. These trees were tall and robust, being difficult to fell, as they could be used to make powerful items. If one goes deeper into the forest, one could probably find ones that could be used to create Divine Class Items. Of course, one would have to survive first, as this place unlike the two other habitable continents, Alliance Continent and the Human Continent, was run by the laws of the jungle, only the strong survive here, with the bones of the weak beings becoming fertilizer. However the benefits of this continent were also the biggest, the resource was immense. The reason he was going deeper into the forest was that he needed to find opponents to test his mettle against. True, he could stay here and test his skills and magic, however all his thoughts where on the big picture, could he handle himself in a battle? Game and reality were different after all. He soon reaches a very deep inside the continent arriving next to a large lake with many gathering of beast, not creatures like dragons or other mythical creatures. These creatures where natural spawning creatures of Earth, containing barely any intelligence, however for all he knows, that wasn''t the case anymore. Each world had there owned natural spawning creatures, which he could control, like turning the on or off switch. For example, Hell had Lesser Demons, which are control completely by Devil Kings and the Devil Lords which were under them. Nether World, had spawning undead, like Lichs. They are under the Yama Lords and Yama Generals. Heaven had spawning fairies, which while not angels, fit into Heaven perfectly, with the Archangels and the Celestial Lords above them. Golden Nation had golems, with the Supremes and National Gods, overseeing everything. Looking at the lake, he saw the beast we''re drinking and grazing around the lake. He noticed there wasn''t any powerful beast amongst them, which is to be expected since the spawning function of the guild could only spawn creatures level 40 and below. ''its time to begin.'' Shin grabs his halberd, rising it above his head, closing his eyes in the process. He felt a sensation rising from his body to his weapon, making him bring his halberd down,[Strike of Heavens Monarch]!!. As he brought his halberd down, he opened his eyes, looking at the [Strike of Heavens Monarch] which cause a vertical rift in the fabric of space, which advances forward like lightning. The rift as it advances, expanded reaching a stage bigger than it''s initial appearance. All the beast at the lake became the target of the attack, from a few in the beginning. As the strike advance, everything was sucked inside the rift, disappearing from the world forever. It was like a bottomless black hole, absorbing even light. The beasts further away, all tremble in fear and retreated deeper into the Beast Continent, not caring about the Beast Lords deeper inside or the danger involved in their actions. Even though they were dumb, instinct sometimes is for better than intelligence. Some stupid fools even with the scent of death before them, would still investigate, only to end up dead. (AN: Ever watch scary movies?) The surface of the lake rock back and forth violently. In the wake of the huge rift, the entire skies of Earth turned pitch black like doomsday was nearing. Many people, strong and weak alike, had a stern expression on their faces, as they were frightened. Not many beings could cause the world to descend into chaos like this. Fortunately, it only lasted for five minutes before disappearing. Shin was somewhat amazed as the [Strike of Heaven''s Monarch] had become stronger than how it was in the game. In the game, it was explained that this attack was stronger than [Reality Slash], which was a Ten Tier spell, but from what he saw, it was approaching the level of Super Tier abilities, which was frightening. If all his high-level spells and skills were this powerful, what about his Super Tier Spells? He didn''t dare to test it while on Earth, he rather does it outside the tree. Since his skill work better than he expected, what about his magic? Shin put away his halberd, raising his hand, casting [Summon: Frost Giant]. This Summon magic was a feature of the [Cotrollor of All] job class and was a Tenth Tier spell. It makes it so he could summon all kinds of giant creatures, from Titans to Giants. Of course considering many things seem to have changed, he could probably summon the World Devourer all though it would remain at level 100. His summons cannot exceed that level. As Shin cast his spell, the skies over a portion of the Beast Continent darkened with thunder roaring, followed by snow falling from the skies. The trees in the area tremble and all leaves fall off as they became frozen popsicles, waiting for summer. A magical circle surrounded Shin as a hole opened inside of it, seemingly leading to the depths of the earth. Shin thought for a moment and conclude it was because he got the [Controllor of All] after battling gods of the Olympus Pantheon and the god he killed most of the time, every-time he spawns was Hades. As a reward for killing god Hades, he gained the [Controllor of All] which means when he uses a feature of it, Summons, it would open the ground and make his summons come out. After all, Hades rule over the earth. The Summon of [Controller of All] has two functions, which are Regular Summons and Force Summon. Regular Summons is what I get after obtaining a summon magic. Like an undead caster would innately be able to summon lesser undead. Force Summon is where one subdue creatures and forces it to accept the summon contract. In the game he had never use a spell of any kind other than his Dev skill, [Rule Creator], as he was a big fan of warriors, however, he knew his weakness would be magic, that''s why he created the Chaos Titan as they were blessed with both magic and warrior skills. Stepping through the hole from the ground, which soon disappears, was a fifteen meter tall Frost Giant, which cause the already cold place to freeze over. Shin was okay since his race had resistance and mastery to all magic. The Frost Giant look around confused as he remembered dying back in Jotunheim against those Asgardians. His lord, Fallen Prince of Asgard Loki had a scheme of obtaining the position of the All-Father, however, they were defeated by the Asgardians as they obtain aid from the ''Outsiders''. So no matter how he saw it, he should be in Hel or even Tartus however he was here alive in a beautiful world, unlike his home which was cold and hellish. His world was still the best for him since he regained his lost energy and was nigh unbeatable, he said nigh unbeatable since he had fallen in the end. (AN: I know Tartus belongs to gods of Olympus, a place were Titans and another powerful being that hated the reign of Zeus or fought him in the War of Gods and Titans resides. The war where Zeus killed his father and free his siblings from his stomach, before becoming the King of the Gods. However, I don''t know if I use it correctly.) As he looked around, he felt a connection coming from his soul from below, so he looked down at an armored man, who was wearing black armor with a terrifying aura. The man had golden eyes that cause him to feel fear and his hair that for some reason seem stronger than his entire being. He could tell after a moment of observation that this man was probably the most powerful being he had ever seen. Even the All-Father seem fragile as paper before him, much less him. He could tell from the connection that he was a summon of the man below, however, he didn''t obtain any memories which were a given during a summoning ritual of any kind. Shin nodded, '' So my skills and magic work, that less I have to worry about. What I need to find out is if the NPCs are still loyal to me. Now.....'' He has not thought of much about his choice of magic, so when Summon came to mind, he randomly summons a Frost Giant. Now he was not sure of what to do with it. After a moment of thought, an idea struck him, " Frost Giant, you shall remain here and guard this place. Find a way to spread your race at this location." This was a test on his part, he wanted to see if it was possible for this Frost Giant to reproduce without a mate. If it could, many doors would open up for him. The Frost Giant kneeled, " Your will shall be done, Almighty God." To him, this man was probably one of those ancient gods. If All-Father could claim godhood, then this being was innately a God in his eyes. If he could please him, he could request for his fellow Frost Giants to be reborn or summon as well. Watching the towering monster run away, Shin frowned, not because of his title but because, " I know you are there, come out." Even as he stood with his back to hidden figures, he didn''t hear anything, making his gaze freezing cold which was even colder than when the Frost Giant was there. He was confident that now that he was sure his powers work and were even better than the norm, he could protect and enforce his power again if needs be. "Hmph, ignoring a direct order from me means death, however, let''s see who you are first. As the [Rule Creator]: I command you to appear before me!" As he spoke a weird unknown power which seems as ancient as time, emerge and covered a vast portion of the Beast Continent. All beings in the area who were hiding or just camouflaging in an area, appear with shock on their faces, before it transforms into fear and terror, making them retreated. The beings that Shin called out appeared as well, signing in awe and reverence. Shin turned around and nodded at them as be expected as much. The two in front of him were Gaia and Raul, the rulers of this world. With the commotion he causes with [Strike of Heavens Monarch], they were bound to locate the source, him, as such power was beyond their capabilities. If it was an enemy they can not win against, they could summon the entirety of Earth''s power, to destroy it. The two of them immediately kneel, " Forgive us, Lord Lain End Chaos, the Supreme God of the World Tree, we will receive any punishment you give us." Shin or now, Lain signed as he looks to the skies, in less than a minute he gained two titles, Almighty God and Supreme God. He could understand the last title as he remembered he had that title after killing many gods and roleplaying as one, but Almighty God? He was confused, however as these names contained the same essence, he concluded it was pertaining to his Supreme God title. He looks down at the two kneeling figures not far from him and wondered what to do. TO BE CONTINUE ? 3 Many Changes Lain face was gloomy, dark as a black pan bottom, making it seem he was furious. However, that was far from the truth, as he was actually thinking of how to deal with this problem. For one he needed to make sure his authority doesn''t become weak by any mean necessary, so in this situation, he must punish Gaia and Raul. If they cause other NPCs to act in a similar way, he would have to do the unthinkable and end them, to make an example. Gaia and Raul didn''t know what Lain was thinking, all the saw was his angry expression, which kept alternating between gloominess and calmness. So not knowing what was causing his face to change like this, only made their hearts become grip by a foreboding feel of danger. If they know the conclusion he came to, they both would be scared out of their minds. Because he was looking at them like they would betray him, which was the last thing on their minds. Other than his dilemma of enforcing his authority, Lain was drawn to a problem he was subconsciously evading. How did Gaia and Raul arrive behind him? If it was not because of him summoning the Frost Giant, which allow his mana to flow in the area, he would be lost. It could also be because he was using [Lurkering Monster] which brought his powers down to a low level, from his perspective. Curious, Lain cup his chin as he asks, " Gaia and Raul, I have a question to ask. How did you approach me without my knowledge?" He didn''t sense the presence of magic or skill being use, so how did they do it? Could the world experience changes he didn''t know of? Raul was a handsome man by even the standards of the other races. Raul was a skinny man with a pale white complexion, that seems was caused by plague or disease. Long black hair that drop down from his crown. His brows were bushy and sharp, which gave him the appearance of a ruthless man. His eyes were black with a hint of gold in its center, given him a regal and mysterious vibe. His eyes seem to contain more power than normal, which could probably making a dragon submit. As he kneeled, one would feel compelled to kneel as well, showing his emperor aura around him was real. He truly lives up to his status as the Emperor of the Earth. On his head, was a foot tall golden crown that had a black star as its centerpiece. He was wearing a long white emperor robe that was adorned by many golden stars. Around his waist was a white belt, which was made from dragon skin. On his back was a long black spear of around 4 meters which was longer than his 2-meter frame. Raul lifts his head up high, projecting a sense of confidence as he responded to Lain, " Father, from my knowledge, mother and I have been able to use the power of Earth, at our will, since the dawn of our creation. I don''t know if it''s the same in the other worlds. Controlling this power, we are able to do many things that on our own, we are unable to. For example, sneaking up on you. Speaking of this, I want you to know we didn''t know these anomalies originated from you; so because we didn''t know who it was, we immediately thought it could be an enemy since if someone had descended, we should know of it." Lain eyes twitch, as he signed deeply in his heart. He had just got a child in the form of the World Tree and now he had a son and a wife? When he had created the World Tree, he had made it with the idea of a family in mind. He wanted something he never had in the real world and thus he created a family of six in a fantasy universe. Raul was one of his children and Gaia was his wife. Calming his headache that was building up, Lain focuses on what Raul has said. '' What is this power he is talking about? Mmm, he must be talking about the Floor Guardian Assistance that a guardian of a floor in a guild receives, which boosts their powers beyond their levels, however, this can only be used in their floors and now where else.'' This didn''t clear up Lain''s confusion, instead, it only made it worse. He cannot remember him adding this feature in the guild, he never saw a reason to. His guild had never been attacked before, and each world had more than one max level NPCs, which was already balance breaking. Lain was afraid if he adds such a feature, the Chief Dev would be angry and delete his guild. After all, it was already a blessing that the Chief Dev didn''t say anything about his action of violating the rule of having a guild, which a Dev was not to allow to do. Lain was also accepting of Raul''s words, as he indeed didn''t tell them he was descending, and with his immense power as a Chaos Titan, their ability to sense people arriving in their world didn''t work on him. So their choice of action was direct and logical from a statistical standpoint. However there is a flaw in their approach, these two although are the Guardians of Earth, shouldn''t be on the front lines. They should have sent a few of the Ministers of Earth and High Priestess of Life to monitor the area before arriving themselves. Lain buried his suspicions in his mind, for a later time. Lain turned his head to the side, "Gaia, why haven''t you said anything this entire time? Are you upset with me or is there something else on your mind?" At the end of his sight was a beautiful woman that was worthy of being called a goddess. A single glance from this woman could cause catastrophes on Earth. Wars would start to win her affection, only for them to find out she already belongs to someone. Gaia has a dark brown caramel color skin that shone with life, power, and dignity of a strong woman. Her head was full of long blue hair, that seems to feel and smell like the sea. Peaking out of her hair was two long curved horns that gave one the feeling of reverence. Also peaking out of her hair was two long pointed ears that were even longer than that of the Elves. Her eyes were green, which seem to gleam with vitality. In the center of her limpid green eyes, a vertical slit rested, given her even more charm than she already had. Her lips were crimson red like a magma. Gaia was wearing a long blue dress that cover her entire body, except for her arms. The blue dress had many pictures on it, which were animals, beast, land, humans, etc. All these pictures which cover her dress didn''t make it look tacky, instead, it made it look original and fresh. This dress seems to have been made just for her. On the back of the dress was the insignia of the guild, a black fist grasping a golden tree. (AN: Okay I want everyone to assume that everyone from the guild had an insignia somewhere on their clothes because I might forget to add.) Unlike her son, Raul who had a weapon strap to his back, all Gaia had on her person was a black ring that sat in her left ring finger. On the top of the ring an emblem of a black fist grabbing a golden tree, and underneath the emblem, a few words, ''To my beloved wife, Gaia End Chaos, thank you for all your hard work. As a reward, I present to you, the Ring of Contract. May our love be forever eternal as the World Tree.'' With everything on her, with her beauty, clothing, and aura Gaia truly lives up to her name as the Mother Goddess of Life, Nature, and the World Tree. No one else was worthy of those titles. "No my husband, you gotten it wrong. I have nothing to add, thus I have remained quiet, sorry if I invoke your wrath." Gaia calmly spoke, making one wonder how strong was this woman? She could talk to the Master of the World Tree with such confidence. However, if one look under that facade one would see, helplessness and dread; not many would understand her feeling and she hopes none ever will. Lain eyes narrowed slightly, " I see. Now, I must punish the two of you. I don''t want to, however as your hearts may feel some guilt for your actions, I have decided to give you both the mission of assembling the family in my world in a few hours. The latest you can reach the Throne Room is at noon, any later and I must punish you further." Lain looked to the sky of Earth and commented before he left, "This truly is a beautiful world." (AN: look even the Mc comment, why can''t my reader do the same?") Lain teleported back to his dissension point, before ascending back to his world, Golden Nation. He sat relaxing on his throne. Before Lain was a mirror that showed Gaia and Raul. Lain was quite suspicious of them, however, he had no real reason as to why. They had done everything they were supposed to do, so why does he feel a sense of unease? * With the departure of Lain, Raul was the first to stand up, feeling a bit chilly on his back from sweating. Although his meeting with Father had not gone as he had expected, mainly because of the sense of dread he felt in his presence. He has never felt such a feeling before and was very sure that no matter of force could harm his Father. Especially since according to the circulating myths, the form his Father has earlier was not even his true form. The dread he felt was not even half of what his Father could dish out. Raul turned to his mother and saw she was trembling all over, her body was sweaty as her dress stuck to her body. The earth underneath her body had sunk in a few centimeters, showing that the pressure on her was stronger than him. Raul frowned as he went to support his mother. The reason he was frowning was how his Father treated his mother, no, his wife. She was the mother of all his children, so the least he could do was care for her as well. "Mother, are you okay?" Raul hugs his mother and ask warily. He was not one to know much about the matter of the heart, so he cannot say much in this situation, however, he knew he loves his mother and didn''t want to see her hurt. Gaia hugs her son back, before pushing him away, " I''m fine my son, just surprise that''s all. Don''t be angry at your Father, he didn''t do anything to me. This all happened because of my dragon side, it was fighting against the aura your Father was emitting, not willing to submit, however, how could my bloodline win against the Supreme God? If your Father has not left, I fear my dragon side would have surrender which would have weakened my abilities greatly." Raul''s eyes widen slightly, as he never senses it at all. He was directly next to his mother, so how come he didn''t feel this unknown battle going on? Raul nodded discreetly as he felt he realize why his Father has left so abruptly, he probably knew he would harm his mother the longer he stays around. "Mother, do you think this is the reason he doesn''t allow you to his world? Maybe he fears to hurt you so he seals himself off from us, his family. Maybe he has been hurting more than us, at least we can visit and see each other, he has no one." Raul signed, only understanding why his Father has not shown up for over ten thousand years. It''s not that he didn''t want to, he couldn''t. If even in his weakened form he was so deadly, one must imagine his true form, maybe no one could survive being in his presence. Gaia closes her eyes, before cleaning herself with magic, " Maybe this was the reason, or maybe it''s not. All I know is that he gave me children to look over, making me the mother of all of you, but he left me alone to do everything. He is the Supreme God, if he wanted to, he could easily have been by my side during this process, however, he chose not to, leaving me alone on Earth." A pain expression covered Gaia''s face, causing her to become even more charming. Lain who was watching everything from his Throne Room, clinch the armrest of his throne, feeling a pain in his heart. He had never thought Gaia had seen everything from a different perspective than himself. To him, only a few years had gone by, but to the NPCs, ten thousand years had gone by. Lain felt he had failed, he fails as a Father, he fails as a Husband, he was just a failure. It was only now that he realizes what he was feeling around them, it was guilt. His mind might be from Earth but his body was from Yggdrasil, so it went through a time, the same amount of time as Gaia. Since he had made Gaia his wife, his body naturally desires her and love her, to the point that when he was around her, guilt had awoken inside of him. Tears stream down, as he never thought he meant something to anyone. He had been an orphan, who was force to raise himself. He was alone in a cruel and dark world and all he could do was scrape by, by any mean necessary. He had gone days without food, or water, on the brink of death many times, which harden his mind. He was lucky enough to be found by an old lady who took him in and sends him to school, which he was forever thankful for. He worked himself through many levels of society, earning himself a small place for himself. When he looked back, looking for the old lady, he learns she had died, leaving him alone, making him feel lonely and miserable. He told himself he would start a family and leave a mark in the world, however, no matter where he looks, no one found him attractive or likable to start a family with. Sadden by the, he worked hard and was rewarded by becoming a Dev of Yggdrasil, becoming a God to some. He thought since he couldn''t make a family in the real world, why not make one in the game? That''s what he did, however at the end of the day, these were NPCs, data, instead of real people, so he was never satisfied with them, thus he seals himself in his world, never experiencing the vastness of his creation. However, it seems like God has eyes and had brought him to this universe to live his dream of having a family, real one. In this place, which he cares not if it was a dream, game or reality, all he knows was that he will stay here, and be a husband and Father like he dreams of. "Mother, you have me and the others, so how can you say you are alone?! Do you not want us anymore?!!" Raul shouted at his mother, something he had never dare to do, even as a kid. However, it hurt his heart to see her like this. Gaia smiles and rubs Raul''s face, kissing him on the forehead, " You all are my children, so how can I be alone? I''m sorry to have worried you." As the two of them spoke, they heard a voice in their heads, [ Gaia, forgive me, I have not lived up to your expectations, I failed as your husband and I hope to make it up to you. Come to my world, I want you by my side, for you are my queen.] as the voice spoke, a huge portal opened up in front of them, causing Earth to quake violently, even more so than what happens previously with the rift in space. What Lain has done was breaking a restriction he had place on teleportation in the tree. Since it was a rule set in the World Tree by him, it breaking made Earth, the place the rule had broke at, to be on verge of collapse. Gaia looks into the portal in shock as she saw her husband sitting in his throne, with tears on his face. She never knew the Supreme God could cry, if someone had said it, she would never believe it, but here she was seeing it with her own eyes. He had spread his arms open as of waiting for her to fall into his embrace. Gaia hesitated for a moment before stepping into the portal, which close soon after. The world recovered back to normal. Some people in the world tried to teleport to another world, however, they found the restriction had returned and become even stronger than before. No, even teleporting a step was harder than usual, requiring the same amount of strength as teleporting a mile. Raul stood there frozen with shock as he couldn''t comprehend what he had witnessed. His Father had ripped a giant hole between worlds, yes, what his Father did was not [Gate], it was more brutal. To rip a hole in space with brute strength, how powerful was be exactly? As he was alarmed, Raul heard a voice in his head, [Raul, my son, thank you for taking care of your mother all this while. You will have to rule over Earth by yourself, you are a man now. Also, since your mother will be staying with me from today forth, you will have to visit and tell your siblings to gather in my world on your own. You are not allowed to use [Message], you must go to there worlds, and see your siblings.] Hearing the voice, Raul kneeled and acknowledged his order. Raul got up and left for the Human Continent to get prepared for his misson, while smiling, happy for his mother. Maybe now she can be at peace. TO BE CONTINUE ? 4 My Wife Before Gaia could ordinate herself, she felt a pair of strong and powerful arms hugging her. She could smell the scent of a man radiating from it. With the Gaia and Lain hugging one another one, the aura of solemness of the Throne Room, change to an aura full of love. The aura was so strong and bountiful that if it could be measured, it would be bigger than a universe. As the two of them hug one another as if the heavens were congratulating them, a beam of pure sunlight descend, passing through the ''roof'' covering them. It was like they had ascended to heaven, becoming divine gods. Standing in the skies, the huge statue had one of his hands opened, from which the sunlight in the skies gather at, and descend on Lain and Gaia. The eyes of the statue seem to glow with intelligence, and also acceptance when it looks at Lain and Gaia. Even a fool could tell that the statue was not normal, from its actions, which was not prompt by Lain in any way. After doing its job, the statue resumes it''s role, as a representative of the Supreme God. As time move, so does the body, so it was able to scan the land, looking at all of its Creators'' creation and servants. Lain although calm on the surface was nervous on the inside. In his arms was probably one of the most beautiful women in the universe, which could cause many to die trying to obtain her. His nervousness wasn''t because she was beautiful, it was because he didn''t want to hurt her. To him, she was as fragile as a piece of paper, a single uncontrolled tap could end her. As a Chaos Titan, little could withstand a poke from him, and he didn''t want Gaia to become a test subject to prove this fact. True he wanted a family, a wife with children but he knew reality and dreams we''re vastly different. Just because one wanted something doesn''t mean they will get it. If things were like that, the world would have already collapsed. Lain breath was calm and steady as he rubbed Gaia on her back. It was amazing to Lain how he, a heavenly virgin could act so calmly around Gaia, however, he was happy nonetheless of this change in his personality. (AN: Heavenly Virgin is an old virgin.) While Lain was focusing on something else, Gaia was calm and comfortable in the arms of her man. Her dream seems to have been answered, although it was over ten thousand years too late, to be able to live with her husband. (AN: Was this paragraph able to project a deep sense of love and longing for affection?) She was a woman that values family more than anything, so having a change in the family was something she was happy to see, especially if it was a good change. Anything that stagnant and never improve it bound to fall and be forgotten by the winds of time. Gaia rested her head on Lain''s chest, hearing his powerful heartbeat that synchronizes with her own. The more she listened to the calmer she became as if hypnotized by the merger of their hearts. The power of their hearts was so strong that if a mortal had heard it, they would implode, or even turn insane. Listening to the hearts of the gods is not for weak mind beings. (AN: Inside the World Tree, level 100 is considered a God, level 90 a DemiGod, level 80 a Saint, level 70 a Myth, level 60 a Legend, level 50 a Sage, level 40 Hero, level 30 Master, level 20 Awakened, level 10 Mortals and below. This is a general placement of power inside the World Tree, it is prone to changes.) Lain looks down at Gaia, since she was a head shorter than the current him, watching her actions, smiling fondly as he did. He knew what was going through her mind, but he didn''t want to say any unnecessary words when he could use his actions to leave his place deeply in Gaia''s heart and soul. He, Lain realizes the more he looks at Gaia the more he loves her. Everything she did seem to make his heart skip a beat. He knew this might be because Gaia was literally a woman he made to fit his fantasies. Lain knew even though he loves, Gaia, this feeling could be because this was the first woman to ever fall in love with him or because his body which he was currently using knew Gaia was its lover, thus making him feel that way. Either way, Gaia was his wife and woman from this day forth. Lifting her head up, Lain saw her eyes were closed and was quivering like a leaf in the wind. From this, Lain concluded she was either nervous or shy, of course, he also thought of the possibility she feared him, however, it seems unlikely considering her love for him and his actions so far. Lain looks at her sweet juicy crimson lips and traces them with his right index finger since his left hand was wrapped around Gaia''s slender waist. Her lips were smooth and moist, not because of outside aid, but because it just was. He leans over and pecks her on the lips, feeling he shouldn''t go overbroad with his actions. He has just made his intention clear of her being his wife in name and in fact but needed to give her time to accept this change. She has waited for over ten thousand years for him, the least he could do was wait for her as well. Again, facts and circumstances are different. When Lain was about to raise his head, a pair of arms shot out and grab his head, kissing him deeply. Lain eyes were wide open as he never expected this, however, he calms down quickly as kiss her back. After a couple of minutes, they broke off the kiss, which would have suffocated normal beings. On Gaia''s face was a slight blush that slowly faded away. Gaia was nervous and embarrassed, so she didn''t dare to look at Lain. She felt the heat from his eyes which seem to desire her. She felt if she looks at him, she would do the unthinkable inside this sacred room. On Lain''s face was a smile and pride in having a wife. How many men could say that they had a wife who would wait years for them? How many men had wives whose beauty could outshine the heavens? He could say all of that. He was one step closer to leaving the Heavenly Virgin club. Lain release Gaia from his ironclad embrace and approach his throne. Subconsciously, Gaia follows along, only to realize she was directly in front of Lain''s throne. In fact, to how close she was, all she has to do was breathe softly for Lain to feel it. Lain reaches out and held Gaia by the waist, lifting her up and putting her crossway on his lap. Because of the way she was turned, her breast press against Lain''s chest, not changing shape under the pressure. Gaia peak at Lain and noticed he was not wearing his black armor from earlier and was instead wearing loose-fitting clothes she has seen on the mortals of Earth. However, unlike the old, unremarkable clothing of the mortal, Lain was baggy sweatpants and a shirt with no sleeves. On his feet were also black shoes that had spikes at the bottom, probably for better traction on the ground. From his get up, Gaia concluded his favorite color was black since be literally went out of a black armor into another set of black clothing. As Gaia was examined his clothes, Lain sat there watching her. For a quick second, they lock eyes, falling into the eyes of the other. In each other eyes, they saw their own reflection which was like a sign they were each other soul mate. As Lain look into her eyes, he had a nagging feeling something else was looking at him through her eyes. If it was not because he didn''t feel hostility from it, he would have killed whoever or whatever it was. As she looks into her husband''s eyes, she saw a vast universe made up of gold, and many other treasures. She could feel his gaze looking directly at her deepest and darkest secrets making him scared. However considering he was the one that gave her those secrets, Gaia became calm again. Lain signed after breaking eye contact, staring into the skies, eyes narrowing as he looks at his statue, before he spoke to Gaia, " Gaia I will not apologize again since I have done it already; I have learned that over apologizing will leave the heart and mind worried instead of at peace. However, I promise you that anywhere you go, I will be there by your side. I will not allow you to feel that feeling of loneliness anymore. You have done far more for me than I have you. A man is not a man until he knows when he is in the wrong and is willing to step up to his responsibilities." His words didn''t garner any response, which he was fine with since he was making a statement, not asking a question. He doesn''t need her approval, but he needs her to be aware of his choice. Gaia rested he head on his chest, smiling with tears streaming down her face. She was happy for his words, he was willing to change for her, which was something to celebrate. Lain signed, becoming serious, pulling a huge black mirror out of his inventory. Calling the mirror black was wrong since only the wood that framed its edge was black. Other than that the mirror was like a normal mirror use to see one''s reflection with. The black portion of the mirror had golden runes that seem to be an unknown language. From these runes, powerful magical aura pulse from it. From the amount of mana, one could conclude the mirror was at least a Divine Class Item. The mirror was perfectly circular, with its surface blank of everything. "Gaia, look at this mirror and tell me what you see." Lain pointed at the blank mirror, making a beam of light merge into it. At this point, Gaia was confused, however, she did as she was asked and look at the mirror. To her, the mirror was normal, until the screen became black, pitch-black to be exact. She notices it change after the beam of light went inside of it. As she looks at the mirror, Gaia didn''t see any more changes, this she concludes, he wanted her to describe the current black mirror. "The mirror seems to be showing the scene of absolute darkness, something I''m sure only exists in Hell''s Eighteen Forbidden Layers. Only the evilest and corrupt souls would be seal down there, never to see light again." Lain held her hand, and nodded, "You are partly right, this is indeed showing absolute darkness, however, this is not Hell, no it''s not even inside the tree. What you are looking at is the absolute darkness of space." As he spoke, the mirror moves slowly before showing a gigantic golden tree with three worlds piercing into the heavens. The tree was beyond magnificent, it was powerful and at the center of everything, it was like no matter from what direction one looks from, they would see it. (AN: From viewing the World Tree from the outside, the tree only seems to have three worlds. Hell is the root of the tree and Nether World is the trunk.) Gaia gasp softly as she stared at the tree, the first time she ever did. Never in her wildest dreams would she have thought she would see her home from space. She had heard myths about her home, about how large and powerful it was, since it was created by the Supreme God. She also knew that the World Tree was the child of Yggdrasil, so if this massive tree was a child, how big was Yggdrasil? "I think I''m the only one that notices we have been transported to a new reality. I was not sure at first, however, with a slight amount of investigation, I have reached this conclusion." Lain smile wryly inside his heart as he spoke, what investigation? He had just assumed this fact since for him he indeed was inside a new universe. However, it''s not certain as of yet if they were still inside Yggdrasil or an alternate universe. "Because of so many uncertainties, I wish to hear the thoughts of the others and come up with some countermeasures in case of danger in this unknown universe. We may be powerful inside of Yggdrasil but here? It''s hard to say until we come in contact with the natives." This was a fact. In his universe, he could be a God, however here? For all, he knew he was naught but an ant. As for why he thought their we''re natives in this universe, it was because the possibility of there being none is lower than there being some. That is why he was confused back home, how can humans be sure they were the only civilization in the vast universe? There are trillions upon trillions of stars, they had not even reached a quarter of it and they came to this conclusion. He knew it was because of the holy book, it was because in there it said God only created heaven and earth, it never said God created another planet with life. (AN: I Hope this paragraph didn''t offend anyone. Also, I use a gender natural approach when I talk about God, by just calling it God. We may believe in the same religion or not believe in one, so I hope no one thinks I''m forcing any religion on them. Religion is a choice, not an obligation, everyone has a mind, so please think about what best suits you and align with your beliefs when choosing a religion.) Gaia understands Lain''s words, however, this made her frown from confusion, " Husband, this involves the life and death of everyone, so why are you making Raul take such a long time to invite everyone? Shouldn''t we focus more on this situation first?" From all standpoints, this should be what''s important, not what they were currently doing, delaying the inevitable. By just sitting here, an enemy could find the tree and attack it. Lain shooked his head, " The reason is simple, from my earlier exploration with the mirror, I conclude there is no lifeforms within a thousand light-years from us. For an enemy to enter this area and then reach us, it would take millions of years depending on their speed. We will at that time have already finish all our preparations." Lain knew if this world has spaceships that could travel at lightspeed, they would still require a few thousand years to reach them. (AN: Okay I don''t know much about light years and stuff like that, so hopefully the paragraph was not confusing. Basically what I did was make it so for every lightyear one travel, a year would have gone by, so a thousand years would have gone by if someone travel at that speed to reach them, depending on if their starting point was the edge of the mentioned area.) Listening to Lain, Gaia nodded but she still believes they should be preparing right now, instead of delaying. For all the know, someone could be able to wink anywhere they want, traveling faster than ''lightspeed''. If there were indeed individuals like that if they appear in front of them, what would they do? As for more time? Gaia thought of something, "So, husband, the reason you descended earlier was to see if our powers will work as it should?" Lain lips twitched a bit, feeling guilty as he was about to lie, he couldn''t exactly say '' I was making sure my powers work, so I can put you guys down in case of a rebellion, could he?'' " Yes, I wanted to see if this universe interferes with our powers but it doesn''t seem like it does. However, this might just be because we are inside the tree, so unless we test it outside, we are only relying on assumptions that I hate to work with." "True." Gaia agreed with Lain words, this place is indeed full of unknown dangers. One wrong step could be the end of them. Lain could see she was scared somewhat so he hugs her again whispering in her ears, " Everything is going to be alright. You see we have the advantage of knowing we are alone in this universe, meaning everyone is an enemy. As long as we find natives, we can easily acquire the information we need to protect yourself. As long as we strengthen the tree, we are unstoppable." (AN: Starting this paragraph, I had the urge to write a verse from one of Bob Marley''s song, ''Don''t Worry, about a thing, because every little thing is going to be alright.'') Gaia nodded, true with just them in this vast universe, no matter who they attack, it would justify as they are their enemies. However, this just means they had made the entire universe their enemy which is stupid since they don''t have the firepower of a universe at their fingertips. Gaia was just about to talk to Lain more about this problem, however, her eyes went wide and she shouted, starting Lain, "Husband! I found a world." Lain was shock, how? Shouldn''t this take a couple of hundred years? For humans of Earth, it had taken a thousand years after civilization had stabilized before discovering other planets, but on the first day, they discovered a planet? Before Gaia came to the Throne Room, he has seen the area around the World Tree was barren. For some reason there was nothing around it, not even a single star was shown in the area, only the light of the World Tree could be seen, which dyed a few miles around itself golden. Regaining his posture, Lain asks, "Where?" Gaia pointed at a small insignificant dot in the mirror, saying "There. " If Lain had looked in Gaia''s eyes, he would see her eyes have become more draconic than before, with the slit contracting and pulsing, before fading and returning to the background. Lain didn''t see what was so important about this dot, however, he maneuvered the mirror, zooming in and that when he saw it. In the mirror, there was a shocking scene. On it was a huge world that seems bigger than his World Tree or even one of the nine worlds of Yggdrasil. Around the world were smaller worlds the size of one of the worlds inside the tree. They floated around the world, creating a solar system of its own. From a quick glance, looking at the main world, they saw over thousand of continents bugger than any of the continents inside the tree. Zooming further in, Lain saw a civilization that was primitive and but also advances in power. They saw many tribes littering the land, seeing many powerful beings with the weakest being as strong as Gaia. Above these figures who were far more powerful than Gaia, even some approaching Lain power level. Which in World Tree equates to Grand Creator level. Gaia''s eyes flash with fear as she spoke, "Husband, I''m afraid we must be cautious of this world. They have the individual strength equal to my own. There were also some even more powerful than me. As long as we conquer this world, we can enter a state of improvement, however, if we die, it''s all for not." She is not wrong, there are over a thousand people as strong as she was and many others stronger than her. "I know, information is more important. We are in the dark while they are in the light. We could send units to gather info before we gradually invade it." Lain nodded, however, he has decided he would invade one of the smaller worlds before anything. The main world was stronger than his entire domain. Lain added, " Let''s bookmark this conversation, we will continue when the rest are here." Gaia nodded and rested her head in his chest. Because of the angle, she put her head, she couldn''t see the fierce look in Lain''s eyes as he stares at the mirror. No matter how he saw it, they were not an opponent of this solar system. However, if he uses Super Tier Magic, If it changes like the rest of his abilities, he could contend with them. Lain handgrip the armrest of his throne, making it whine under the pressure. Lain calm down as he felt a hand on his, clearing away his battle intent. Staring down at her, he saw she has the same look he has, making his battle intent awoke again. Maybe she was feeling the same as him, only since she was weaker, the pressure on her was far greater. "It''s not time yet....not time." As for who''s the voice belongs to, who knows? (AN: Writing this chapter made me think about the Double Face Queen of Schemes, Albedo.) TO BE CONTINUE ? 5 The Family Part 1 Lain frowned and put the black mirror back into his inventory. Ever since he transformed into his game avatar, he realizes along with his spells and skills, many of his senses have become stronger. His sensory abilities are not restricted to which form he takes. Even while sitting on his throne, he could sense four pairs of unknown footsteps on the Divine Continent. No matter how powerful his sense we''re, how could he know if the footsteps we''re unknown? He was not even focusing on the Divine Continent, but he subconsciously was aware of it. He was able to pick four different pairs of footsteps out of the thousands of NPCs on the continent, which was remarkable. To show how amazing this was, one must look at how vast the Golden Nation was. The Golden Nation was separated into two different planes, each as big as Earth(our Earth). The first plane was the Divine Continent, which houses all the inhabitants of this world, who were giants of some kind. If one of these figures fall to Earth, myths of Titans and Gods would emerge once again, like what happened with the Gods of Olympus. Most of these NPCs were at the level of Sages, which was a force to be reckoned with, considering that there were thousands of them. If one includes the NPCs above Sages, one would have a God Slaughtering army in their hands. Not even a party of 30 max level players could defeat such a force without suffering damage as well. Now that they have become real, their numbers would increase gradually over time, who knows there might come a day when there were millions of Gods running around on Divine Continent. This is a general placement of power inside the World Tree, it is prone to changes.) The second plane was situated perfectly above the Divine Continent, however, there wasn''t a shadow cast down on the Divine Continent, since the continent was floating on the surface of clouds. In fact even if one looks up from the Divine Continent, they would not see this continent. It was like illusion magic had been used to cover it up, and considering who rules this place, it might be possible. This continent was like it was cast from gold as the entire continent was golden. The skies were filled with gold, the land was gold, the vast rivers were gold, everything was gold. Even the house, from libraries to churches were gold. However, while the continent was beautiful and could fulfill the deepest and darkest dreams of many, the requirement to live there was to be at least a DemiGod, so this place remains empty, as no one had ascended since the dawn of time. (AN: The dawn of time here means when the guild was created. To the NPCs, time had only begun then.) In the center of the continent, a huge palace made also from gold floated above the Golden Nation, making it above everything but the bronze statue of the Supreme Emperor. Maybe the statue was imbued with some kind of magic, making so that no matter where inside the world they were at, they would be able to see it. (AN: Okay, I use Golden Nation in two ways in the paragraph above. I use it as a world, which is the last world of the tree. I also use it as a Continent, which is were Lain''s palace is located. It should be easy to know how to imagine the words by using the context it''s written in.) Closing his eyes, Lain uses [World Connection] seeing everything on the Divine Continent. He saw bakers making bread, cakes and other pastries. He saw soldiers training their skills while fighting against each other in mock battles. He saw priests cleaning temples and churches, and preaching about the Supreme God( him) and the other gods. He saw kids going to schools while riding on dragons or other creatures of their choices. He saw everyone moving as one big community, each helping one another. The more he looked the more he became lost in the wonder of how could the Divine Continent is better than his original world. Maybe humans are really that corrupt, everything they touch become a disaster in the future. Lain knew with his powers he was a God, so he would do what the God of his world didn''t if needs be, destroyed mankind. Lain shooked his head and continued using [World Connection], which allow him to see everything, meaning he saw them, his children. They were approaching the Divine Mountain at the center of the Divine Continent. The Divine Mountain was the entrance towards the continent of the gods. One must climb the steps and complete all test that judges one to see if they were gods. If one was not a God, one would be attacked fiercely by the Divine Warriors of the mountain, before dying a sinister death, which one had no way of escaping or recovering from, since it was absolute death. Above the Divine Mountain was a long golden bridge made of many lights. The bridge would fade between reality and fantasy, making the bridge a wonder for the eyes. This bridge leads straight into the clouds, to the continent of gods. Lain cancels the [World Connection], smiling with happiness seeing his children. A love of a father is far more powerful than any word is able to describe. Just looking at them from a distance was able to make his heart beat faster and be filled with fatherly love. Lain looks down at Gaia in his laps and saw her smiling from ear to ear, as she said, "I''m guessing you sense them as well? From your expression, I can tell you are genuinely happy, which made me relive. I can not remember seeing you with any of them before, as all you did was create and left them to me." In the past, Gaia would have cried or hide her emotions as this would bring her pain, however now she was happy to see her man accept her children. She had once thought the reason he had not come to visit them, even if he didn''t visit her, was because he was disappointed with them, however, seeing his expression, she was calmer and peaceful than before. Lain smile, even though he was feeling pain inside every time she brought the fact of his absence in her life up. Signing, Lain said, "I''m happy to see them, even though this would be our first actual meeting, as a family nonetheless. At the end of the day, they are my children, my pride and joy. Even if they were to do something wrong, I would never hate my children, because if they did something wrong, it was caused by the parent''s lack of teaching, not by them." A parent could take their misgivings out on the world, however, they must never bring those problems home, and take it out on their children. (AN: I wanted to just write kids, instead of children so many times, but I felt children fit better in the story than kids.) Gaia nodded, " That good then, now, can I ask the husband to make a throne for me? Or would you rather me sit in your lap when meeting our children?" Gaia teasingly said as she bats her eyelashes at him, shyly. The more time she spends around him, the more open she became around him. If this was the past, with not knowing her place in Lain''s heart, she would never have dared to act this way with him. He literally holds her life and death in the palm of his hands, after all, one wrong move and she could disappear. Something awoke inside of Lain when he saw her acting like that, it was an intense primal instinct, to take her here and now, however, he knew they must look like parents in front of their children and not people in heat. How would it look if they were all over each other during the meeting? Wouldnt their children lose all respect they had for them? So even though he was reluctant to have her leave his lap, he said nothing as she left his embrace. Gaia as she got up, could feel his body tense up slightly before relaxing. It was like he was about to do something however he decides against it in the end. She was able to tell what he wanted to do since she was a master in things like this. She wasn''t a mother if she couldn''t read such obvious signs, and definitely couldn''t be a goddess if she couldn''t read all signs present before her. Leaning down, Gaia kissed Lain on the lips, caressing his face lovingly as she spoke in a soft voice, "You don''t have to be so careful around me. I''m your woman, a man showing their woman that they love them is something any woman would want from their man." Relief washes away Lain''s anxiety, which made him smiled, as he caressing Gaia''s beautiful complexion, "I''m not used to showing my emotions, so it will take some time to adapt." Gaia laugh, laying in his arms before getting up, "Even the Supreme God is not an expert in something? If word spread, your divine faith in the worlds would be tainted." Divine faith? Lain frown in his heart, this is something else he didn''t add inside the tree or maybe he did but didn''t remember. The concept of faith is vague to anyone who heard the term. Depending on the God or place the faith originate from, the faith could be different. Even if it''s the same faith, if it is located in a different place, a separation could happen, creating a new religion. Lain was not afraid of much, however, one thing he was scared of was a religious war. These kinds of wars could stretch centuries, never reaching a conclusion. More people died in religious wars than any given war back on Earth(our Earth). (AN: Again I''m not sure if this accurate, however, I do know the death count in the crusade was very high, reaching a frightening level.) Lain nodded, and laugh with her, hiding his thoughts on ''divine faith'', "Just don''t tell anyone then. Okay, get ready, they are almost here. I will create a throne for you. I just hope this place will lose its emptiness with you here with me." Lain signed regretting not creating any NPC''s for the Golden Continent. He had wanted to create a unique backstory for it, claiming only beings who have reached the level of gods(DemiGod) could reach there. However, he had a feeling no one would reach the level of God for a very long time and that''s if the NPCs could even grow in the first place. This was not a game anymore after all, and even in the game, it was hard for NPCs to grow, if not impossible. (AN: DemiGod is considered the level of Gods as well. Just one is a true God while others just touch the seat of divinity.) Golden Nation, did have the Supremes and the National Gods, which should be on the Golden Continent, however since they had to watch and monitor the world, they stay on the Divine Continent, since that would be the first place the invaders would appear at. (AN: I have decided to call the continent below the palace, Golden Continent. It''s hurting my brain to keep switching how I use the context to describe what I''m talking about.) Lain pointed to the right of his throne, causing a mass of mana to flow out of his fingers, creating a throne standing on an equal level to his. This was actually a test on Lain''s part, he wanted to see if he could use magic without chanting or using Silent Magic to cast a spell. He was surprised he actually succeeded, however considering a high-level player could use lower-level spells without chanting or Silent Magic, and he was three times over the player max level, it makes sense be could cast any spells except Super Tier Spella without chanting. (AN: By writing this paragraph, I remove a massive weight off my shoulders.) The throne Lain created was a brown throne that seems to be made out of the earth. The throne had many plants growing out of it, making the throne extremely peaceful and natural as nature itself. The throne has a more elegant appearance, than Lain''s Throne of Chaos, which had a brutal appearance and imposing aura, that demands submission. Gaia was surprised at her throne, as it fits perfectly for her role as the Mother Goddess of Life, Nature, and the World Tree. Gaia thank Lain and walk over to her throne, sitting down, causing her throne to shake, as many plants burst out of the throne, bearing fruits immediately. Power started to merge into the throne, causing an aura of nature to surround it, looking peaceful, however, one should not be a fool as nature was a brutal force, which likes to hide behind the scenes before striking a deadly blow. Lain was admiring how Gaia''s throne seems to have taken some of the energy of the Throne of Chaos, gaining some control over the World Tree, however since he was the Guild Master and Guild Weapon, all the power actually still remained in his hand. From this, he concludes his words had a certain amount of power imbued in it. This might be the result of him being the [Rule Creator], anything he said, probably would result in the World Tree accepting it as an order. He has said he wanted her by his side as his Queen, which the World Tree accepted as him given her some of ''authority''. After all, what is a Queen without power? Maybe a flower vase or even less than that? Gaia stop looking at her throne, and look at the door. Lain did the same things as he senses the big moment was about to begin. As they wait for the doors to open, a synchronize voice of the two guards from earlier, echoed throughout the Throne Room, "Your Majesty, Crown Prince Lucifer End Chaos, Second Prince Yama End Chaos, Third Prince Raul End Chaos, and Crown Princess Raina End Chaos, requested access to the throne room, do you allow them access?" (AN: After asking my little sister about which name to use for the ruler of Heaven, we decided on Raina, as it seems like a combination of Lain and Gaia''s name put together. The name also seems powerful and divine which is a plus I guess.) Lain face twitch, as he cannot understand why the guards of the palace hallways seem to have an overview of the Throne Room. The Throne Room should be outside their responsibility, as they need to have the power to protect this place, which they lack even though they were around level 70. The one that guards the Throne Room was himself or to be more precise, the representative of himself, his statue. He didn''t make it have half of his stats and power for nothing. With the statue present, the Throne Room became one of the safest places inside of the tree. While irritated, Lain understands these guards were doing everything to please him, their Emperor, after all serving him in any way was a great honor for them. If he responds angrily to them, Lain was sure they would commit suicide, which would cause more power in the long run. Inside of the World Tree, he had two statuses, one of them being the title of the Supreme God, which is worship in every world other than the Golden Nation. The other status was that of Emperor, which is solely focused on the Golden Nation, where no one calls him the Supreme God other than the clergymen. "Grant them access; I must thank my loyal guards for protecting the palace hallways; without your aid, I don''t know if I could sit so worried free on this old throne of mine." Lain''s voice resounded throughout the palace, extending all the way to the Divine Continent, making everyone fall to their knees, and cry tears of joy for the guards. Many were also jealous as well, wondering why didn''t they gain this honor? If they did, they could die with a smile on their faces; because they know, that they would never be forgotten by anyone as long as the Supreme Emperor existed. "There is no need for thanks, Your Majesty, serving you is the purpose of our existence. You created us, gave us a purpose, and that is what we will do, fulfilling the purpose of serving you until or last breath." (AN: If I''m not wrong, lines like these are mention many times throughout the Overlord light novel, between Bone Daddy and his interaction with his NPCs.) Even without seeing them face to face, Lain was sure they were kneeling and probably quivering with joy, because of his words. If he had not ''seen'' this himself, he was sure he would never think people would value his words so deeply. From this, he knows he had to be careful of what he says to the NPCs, as they seem extremely loyal to a fault to him. If he said jump off a cliff, they would answer, ''how high?'', not why. The doors to the Throne Room creaked opened, causing an ear-piercing screech throughout the palace. Because of the fact that when one enters the room, the Throne of Chaos was absorbing all the surrounding light, one gets an uneasy feeling something wasn''t right. When you put the noise with the atmosphere, one gets a forbidden room, full of danger. TO BE CONTINUE ? 6 The Family Part 2 As the doors opened, four individuals, each different from the other, walked in and arrive below the two thrones, kneeling. They didn''t seem too surprised to see their mother sitting next to their father. "I, Lucifer End Chaos, pledge my undying fidelity to Lain End Chaos, the Supreme God and Emperor of the World Tree. I also pledge my fidelity to Gaia End Chaos, the Mother Goddess, the Queen of the World Tree as well as my mother." Lucifer was a handsome man, whose handsomeness borderline onto the feminine side, making him sometimes confuse with being a woman. His skin was pale, with a more rustic hue, maybe because of adjusting to the heat of Hell. He had a head full of long crimson hair that reaches down his back. The edges of the hair, we''re blue, making his head seem to be on flames of different temperatures. Like his mother, from his hair, two large horns reside on his head. The horns begin at his temples before curving backward over and over again, creating ram-like horns on his head. His eyes brows we''re long and crimson like his hair, with the end of it curing. He had a smirk on his face that seems to have been plaster on, the moment of his ''birth''. On his back, we''re two large bats like wings that sat in a perch way, along with a tail peeking out from the bottom of the robe, with fire burning at its tip. Lucifer was wearing a long red robe that matches his hair perfectly, making him look like the Lord of Fire, which is true in the sense he was the Devil of the World Tree and everyone knows the Devil was a master of Fire Magic. Around the neck portion of the red robe, we''re marks of the Star of David. Lucifer had his head raised high, as he stares straight ahead, directly at his parents. From his observations, he could see the joy in his mother''s eyes, as she looks at him, making his dark heart have a glimpse of light after many years. On his father''s front, he was lost as he doesn''t seem to be able to read him, which he secretly frown at, as this never happened before. He was about to retract his gaze, however, he noticed something as he saw his father''s eyes lit up, which shone with pride when he gazed at him. Lucifer was momentarily startled, as he never thought his father would be proud of him. After all, his job was literally torturing souls, which is evil but it is required. He has been worried his father would discriminate against him because of what he does and represents, however seeing his father''s gaze, his worries fade away. "I, Yama End Chaos pledge fidelity to Lain End Chaos, the Supreme God and Emperor of the World Tree. I also pledge fidelity to Gaia End Chaos, the Mother Goddess and Queen of the World Tree, as well as my mother." Yama was a mystery to anyone that knew him, as no has ever seen his true form and live. Yama wore on his person, a black robe that covers his entire body, except for his eyes, which has a ghostly hue. The robe was like a cloud of darkness, as it wiggles and changes shape. Yama was a powerful individual that was given the title of King of Death inside the tree, collecting and judging the souls of the dead. Unlike his older brother, Lucifer, Yama had no need to worry about unnecessary things. His mother loved him and that''s all that mattered, he could care less if his father loves him as well, he would be happy but that''s about it. His father assigned him a job and he will simply do that, his job, nothing more and nothing less. "I, Raul End Chaos pledge my fidelity to Lain End Chaos, the Supreme God and Emperor of the World Tree. I also pledge fidelity to Gaia End Chaos, the Mother Goddess and Queen of the World Tree, as well as my mother." Raul was still dressed in his emperor get up, not changing clothing from before. Raul was please again seeing his mother and father together, especially seeing her sitting on a throne beside him. Although he will miss her not watching over Earth with him, from the get-go, he knew this would happen, after all, their titles say all; he was the Emperor of the Earth and she was the Mother Goddess of all worlds. Her place is not on Earth, it''s with his father in the Golden Nation. "I, Raina End Chaos pledge my fidelity to Lain End Chaos, the Supreme God and Emperor of the World Tree. I also pledge fidelity to Gaia End Chaos, the Mother Goddess and Queen of the World Tree, as well as my mother." The last person, Raina was a beautiful woman of around 18 years old, who had delicate features, which would cause people to want to protect her. She had a head full of long black hair, which had strands of blue in some places. This was as if it was telling the world, it was a sign of her ''birth right'', being the daughter of Lain and Gaia. Above her head was a golden halo, that brightens her face and cast a holy aura around her. Her eyebrows where a mixture of black and blue, making her beauty further enhance. Her eyes were golden like two beams of holy flames. Her lips we pale pink, making her look natural and fresh, as wells as cute. On her back, we''re six large white open wings, which seem to chime with heavenly music as feathers fall to the ground and then evaporated, before repeating. Riana was wearing a golden robe adorned by many feathers. The robe was unlike the ones worn by her brothers, as hers sat snuggly on her body, showing off her curvy figure, which made one''s mind wondered. Because of her large bust, which was even bigger than her mother''s, two large mountains could be seen on her chest portion of the robe. Like all her family members, Raina had a title and a unique status inside the tree. On Earth and the other worlds, except the Golden Nation, she was called the Divine Goddess of Heaven. Her duty was to manage Heaven and lead her angels in guiding the good souls given to her by her brother big brother Yama. Raina looks at her mother smiling, which her mother did in return. She and her mother got along really well, maybe because she was her only daughter? Riana turns her gaze and look at her father, and was quite surprised as he was more handsome than she imagines. When she looked at him, she saw him look at her, with a gentle gaze and fondness which made her happy but confused. This doesn''t seem to be the rumored cold and distant Supreme God at all. She could tell he was different from the description given to him, just by hearing his words to his guards, although she did sense some hidden meaning in his words. Overall, she was pleased by what she saw. (AN: The hidden meaning should be clear, the moment Lain was telling the guards that their jobs we''re the hallways, not the throne room. Of course, no one got this point and only assume Lain was pleased with the guards) (AN: All of them said their pledge at the same time. I wrote it this way for better imagery. Did I succeed in creating good imagery?) Watching his children, Lain was, even more, please than earlier as he was actually seeing them in person. He somewhat regrets making his family base on royalty as he didn''t like seeing them kneel before him. True he wanted to have his authority unchallenged but not at the cost of his relationship with his family. However, he understands his status to them was exalted thus he didn''t tell them to stand up immediately. Lain stood from his throne, retracting as much as his aura as possible, while spreading his hands apart in a grand gesture of command, "Looking at all of you, made me realize I am probably the happiest father in the universe. I want all of you to know I''m proud to call you all the sons and daughters of I, Lain End Chaos. As the Guardians of your respective worlds, I know you are all busy and have important tasks at hand, so I shall make this meeting short and to the point." All of them have a smile on their faces, as his words sank in. He was proud of them? These words made them held there heads high with pride showing on their faces. Everyone was smiling including Yama, but since you cannot see his face, body language is what is used to determine Yama''s mood, which was currently happy. However, even though they were happy at their father''s words, they still spoke, " Father, nothing is more important than responding to the orders of our Creator. No matter what we do, we shall stop ir, to bask in the presence of greatness." "I''m pleased to hear your words, however, we can not have a decent conversation with you all kneeling before me. From this day forth, unless I say otherwise or the situation prompts it, don''t kneel before me." Lain said seriously as he walked towards them, before stopping, looking them over. "I may be the Emperor or even the Supreme God, however before all else, I''m your father. Have you ever seen a mortal force their children to kneel before them? They don''t because there is no need." A powerful aura rose from his body, forcing everyone to their feet. After doing that, Lain nodded and walk past them before stopping a couple of steps behind them. Gaia had long since left her throne and was standing next to Lain. She was amazed at how he changes from a man deep in love with her to a ruler with an overbearing aura to a father with kindness and gentleness in his eyes and voice. Lain turned and look at the frozen individuals standing in place, and beckoned them to his side. With them at his side, Lain waved his hand causing a massive amount of mana to gather and transformed into a huge black table. The table was just an ordinary table other than the fact it was massive. Lain looked at them and spoke, "There are two reasons for you all to be here. I shall begin with the first reason." Lain pointed at the black table, "The surface of this table represents the universe, which we are currently in." Opening his hand, a golden tree the size of a palm emerges, "This tree is our home, the World Tree, and over here is the first problem, this world." Another item emerges from his palm, looking like the world that was shown on the mirror earlier. Raina asks a question that''s been on her mind since she saw the table, "Father if that table represents the universe, where are the nine worlds of Yggdrasil? Also, how can this be considered a problem for you?" The others nodded, except Gaia who only smile and said nothing, wanting to see how her children will go about the problem. "You ask very good questions, my daughter. That is exactly the problem, there are no longer nine worlds of Yggdrasil, no, there is no longer any Yggdrasil. As the Supreme God, I have an innate connection to the tree and have been trying to find it, however, it seems it truly had been destroyed. What that means is that we are in an all-new universe, so while I''m happy you trust me so much, I have to tell you that I''m uncertain about the future, mainly because of the first sign of natives we saw." Lain said as he pointed to a globe that represents the discovered world. "That world has many figures equal to gods of the World Tree, and much stronger than them as well, some even approaching my level of Grand Creator." The news sent a shockwave into the heart of not only Raina but the others as they cannot believe that Yggdrasil, the eternal tree had fallen. This was like hearing that God had died. Not only that, they learn they have an extremely powerful force in their vicinity, which is dangerous. At this point, Gaia spoke as well, "Not only that, From the surface glance at this world, we have concluded that we are not their opponent, they are hundreds if not thousand times stronger than us." "Thank you, Gaia, just as your mother had said, we have no chance against them, unless we plan to conquer one of the exterior worlds, and slowly eat away at their strength," Lain said as he adds dots around the globe that represents the main world. Yama who had to remain silent, ask his father a question, " Father, I mean no disrespect, but how can you be sure that they are stronger than us, without physical evidence? There have been cases of people having high levels but low stats, so who is to say, it''s not the same?" Lain pause for a moment, and then nodded, "You are correct my son, however, you must understand just because we have evidence of levels and stats not being equal doesn''t mean it will always be the case. I rather believe that everyone is as strong as Gods of the World Tree and be proven wrong than believe they are weak and if turn out they are even more powerful than our assumption." Lucifer spoke up at this point, " Father, this world, from what you are saying, you plan to conquer it? Can I ask what is going to be the plan afterward?" "That''s simple, I plan to either make it a new world of the tree or merging it into a current world, strengthening that world further. As long as we conquer more worlds the tree will become stronger than Yggdrasil, and we will no longer need to fear anything." He had not tried the evolution function of the guild yet since it needed a new world to activate. He was curious about how this function would work in this universe. "If that the case, I wonder if father can allow me to have nine of the smaller worlds to create the Nine Tier Abyss?" Lucifer said as his eyes glow with desire. If he could get these world, he would be one step closer to his dream. Lain pause and look deeply at Lucifer, before saying, "It depends on if we actually conquer these worlds, however, if we do, I shall give nine to you. However Lucifer, you should now that the Nine Tier Abyss has never been created before, so even I''m not sure if it''s possible. The one in Yggdrasil was created by accident by my friends, and we couldn''t create another one after many years of research." "Father, it might be ironic to say this as the Devil, however since I can remember, having an unlimited amount of demons at my command had always been a dream of mine. It was only when I heard that the Nine Tier Abyss could accomplish all of this that my dream change to include it." "I see. Does anyone have anything to add? " At Lain''s words, they shook their heads, making him sign silently, saying, " Okay then, I already have the skeleton of a plan in mind, so no problem there. Okay now, let''s focus on the second reason for asking you to come here; have anything change inside your worlds?" As Lain spoke, the table disappears, as he looked at them. Raina shooked her head, " No, everything has been working normally on my end. All good souls that big brother Yama judges are transported to the lower levels of the Tower of Heaven. All the Celestials and Archangels have been helping me along the way." Raul, Yama, and Lucifer shook their heads saying everything is normal on their fronts. Lain nodded, it''s to be expected that the NPCs wouldn''t notice anything as to them, everything had been the same from their views. However even though he didn''t get the answers he was looking for, he was amazed that the concept of souls was so freely used in Raina dialogue. " That was it for the meeting. We have gone over everything I wanted to talk about. You can decide what to do, you can stay here for a while and explore, I will be taking Gaia to Earth on a date." Lain held hand as he smiles at his children and steps into the teleportation gate, arriving once again on the Beast Continent. With their parents gone, they release a sigh of relief. They had been under intense pressure with their father''s gaze on them. It was like nothing could escape his gaze, and if he looks at them for a long moment, they would die. Raul turns around, looking at his siblings, "So what did I tell you? He is too powerful, that is the reason for his absence for the last ten thousand years." Raina nodded, " If I didn''t see it, I wouldn''t have believed you. How could he be so powerful? Now that I think about it, do anyone of you know which race he belongs to?" At this moment, the all silent Yama spoke, " I believe I heard he was something called a Chaos Titan, a member of the most powerful race. They are more powerful than the gods of the Norse Mythology, I learn this inside the Bohi Immortal Room." Lucifer lips twitch, " Haven''t you been with us the entire time, so how could you have been there?" "That''s for me to know and you to find out, however, big brother, I recommend you talk to the Bohi Tree, it has a vast repertoire of knowledge, so maybe it could help with your dream. Anyway, it''s time for me to return to my duties. Farewell Raina and my brothers, may we meet again." Yama bow slightly before walking to the teleportation gate, vanishing on the spot. Lucifer shook his head, " That brat is still so cold and sneaky, however, I agree with him, I will visit the Bohi Tree before returning home, farewell my lovely sister and little brother." And just like that, only Riana and Raul remained in the room. "Little sister, what do you want to do? I plan to visit the Divine Continent and see what''s so great about it. Who knows I might get inspired and transformed one of the four barren continents into something amazing." Raul said looking at his sister who was too beautiful for no reason. Every time he saw her, he gets worried about her future. It''s inevitable that she would marry someone in the future, however, it''s his job to kill everyone she fancy and delay this process. No, it''s more correct to say all her brothers were in on it, leaving her in the dark. They will not allow her to fall into the sinister hands of man. With a single glance, Riana was able read her brother''s mind, she knew her siblings love her greatly and would hinder anyone she fancied, unfortunately, she wouldn''t fall in love with anyone lesser than a true God so their worries are unfounded. "I will follow along, I still have time before I''m needed back home." TO BE CONTINUE ? 7 The Emperor of Earth’s Journey throughout the World Tree~ Earth (Earth) ~This happened before the Chapter Family I, II~ Getting his orders from his father, Raul immediately left the Beast Continent for the Human Continent to begin his preparations for his mission. To be honest, even as a God, Raul was extremely laid back to the point of letting others take advantage of him, getting two of his seven continents, doing as they wish with them. Because of his laziness, after everything settles down, he only had the Human Continent as his territory, even though he ''rules'' Earth. If he wanted to he could get his continents back, but why would he? If he took them back, the amount of paperwork he would have to do was ungodly!! So after seeing that no one did anything too drastic like killing off a race, he allows them to do as they please, the only catch was that they must obey him in times of crisis, which they swore on the Supreme Gods'' name. Swearing on the Supreme Gods'' name is the last thing one wants to do, even as a joke, and then break it, since one would suffer divine punishment. While the punishment of swearing on the name of other gods, and breaking the oath, is less than the Supreme God, unless it''s absolutely needed, it''s recommended not to speak the name of the gods. Saying a god''s name and then making a joke could make one life extremely miserable. Flying over the massive ocean that divides his world into seven parts, Raul''s mood was in the slums, as he was sad that his mother would not be remaining on Earth with him. He was happy that she was happy, but with her not around left a gap in his heart. It''s not just his heart that a gap exists in, a gap appears on Earth. With a God gone, Earth will drop to the last of the five worlds in terms of power. Earth is the most populated of the five worlds, however, that doesn''t mean he could find a replacement for his mother. After all, no amount of mortals on Earth could amount to a strand of hair on a god''s head. An infinite amount of mortals would seem powerful to an ordinary person, however to a God, no amount of morals could harm them. That''s because around a God at all times is a god''s [Divine Protection], which can only be breach by Legends and up. (AN: In the Overlord light novel, one must reach at least level 60 to be able to hurt a max-level player like Ainz. It''s the same here but has a different name.) On Earth, there were many factions and forces which are powerful in their own right. Each of these factions control many resources, International and domestically; so it makes sense that they had enough power to protect their assets. However, although there are many factions inside the world, there are only two factions that can be call supreme and unstoppable, which are the Imperial Force of Earth and the Mother Goddess Religion. The Imperial Forces of Earth is a powerful force that only obeys the order of the Emperor of Earth. Since Raul only had ''one'' continent under his control, the Imperial Forces of Earth focus mainly on it, the Human Continent and occasionally spread all over the world looking for danger, etc. The Imperial Forces of Earth consisted of twelve Ministers of Earth and a million-strong Imperial Army. Each of the twelve ministers we''re equal to DemiGods and had enough power to battle a god for a short period, given Raul or Gaia time to react to the danger. These Minister of Earth are the first line of defense against enemies for this world, which is why these powerful beings are scattered at Important locations in the world. There are some on one of the seven continents, some at the depths of the ocean, some blending into the life of ordinary people, with them not being aware of this fact, etc. While the idea of having the Ministers of Earth at key locations was good; because of the vast distance needed to be cross to get to him, Raul didn''t summon them and instead went with his mother to the Beast Continent to seek the anomalies. Thankfully the anomalies were caused by his father, instead of invaders because if there were invaders, he along with his mother would have been wounded. This is one of the problems he will have to eliminate to create a better relay system between his subordinates. If they could use teleportation magic like him, he wouldn''t be having this problem however since the only reason he could use teleportation magic inside his world was because he was one of the gods in charge of this world. This might seem confusing since mortals are able to use teleportation magic freely on Earth and DemiGods couldn''t. The reason for this was the rules set by the Supreme God for safety reasons. Mortals cannot cause damages that could alarm the gods, especially considering that a mortal cannot use a high-level spell-like [Teleportation]. So basically the Supreme God made it so mortals are not restricted in what magic they use, however considering that by the time they could use teleportation magic they would have already surpassed being a mortal and reach Hero at the very least, teleportation magic is impossible for them inside Earth. (AN: Basically, only the rulers of their worlds could freely teleport inside their worlds. The only way to teleport would be to use items, and that would be affected by how far they could teleport to.) The reason he didn''t teleport back to the Human Continent, was that he had plenty of time to reach the Golden Nation, after all, he had until noon and with the sun just rising, he had at least eight hours remaining. The Imperial Army, on the other hand, was a force worth twelve more Ministers of Earth, as they were an army conspired of a million Hero ranks beings. A million Hero rank beings probably don''t sound like much, but it was. If this army was to arrive in any world, although they might not conquer it, they would still be a force to be feared and never underestimated. This was frightening since a million men Army consisting of Hero rank beings is enough to slaughter even DemiGods like ants and challenge a newly ascended True God. After all, even an army of million of ants could kill a full-grown elephant, much less beings thousand of times stronger than ants killing a God. The Mother Goddess Religion is different from the Imperial Forces of Earth, not only because of its greater amount of DemiGods but also because of the amount of acceptance it receives from all three habitable continents. With acceptance being a form of power, the gap between the two could be explained. More people we''re inclined to welcome a priestess of the Mother Goddess than a official of the Emperor of Earth who was also a True God. This was because the religion preaches about freedom and coexistence with other beings, especially nature; while the emperor demands complete authority in his domain. Once he speaks, only his voice should be heard, no one else. From this, one could see the difference in their Divine Authorities. A Divine Authority is born when a being reaches a True God level. A Divine Authority is what a True God had control over. For example, the Mother Goddess of Life, Nature and the World Tree, Gaia, has three Divine Authorities. She had control over Life, Nature and the World Tree. As a result of her control over Life, she has twelve Priestesses of Life who were DemiGods, who are in the process of starting their own religions to ''ascend'' to become True God themselves. When a DemiGod spread their faiths, If people accept them, they would become empowered, becoming stronger than a regular DemiGod. This was also one of the ways to become True Gods, by spread their faiths, and become empowered to that level. The other way was simply reaching that stage with one''s own power, not fearing having your power striped from you when your followers stop believing in you. (AN: picture the empowerment as a weaker version of the Floor Guardian Assistant Function. This is what makes floors guardian or in this case gods stronger inside their own domains than fellows of the same power level.) As a result of having a Divine Authority of Nature, Gaia had three Beast Lords, who were the DemiGods who rule over the most dangerous continent of Earth. The Beast Lords were different than the Priestesses of Life as even beings of the same level couldn''t win against them. If the three Beast Lords work together, their power would approach the level of a Beast Emperor, a True Beast God. Maybe because the Supreme God had foreseen godly battles happening on Earth if more divine beings emerge, of the many rules governing the World Tree, one of them states divine beings who emerge on Earth or lesser worlds must ascend to the Golden Continent in the Golden nation and walk upon the Divine Mountain in the Divine Continent.(AN: Earth is the only lesser world of the World Tree. All the other worlds since they had a vital role and could kill even Mythical Beings without trying, they are consider Higher Worlds.) However since all the current DemiGods are members of a vital force of Earth they are excluded from this rule. if not the only divine beings on Earth would be him and ihis mother. As for the Divine Authority of the World Tree, no one had seen her use it, so people believe it was far too powerful, even for a True God to use recklessly. This was further support by the fact the real ruler of the World Tree was the Supreme God who none can hold a candle to. Raul, the Emperor of Earth had a Divine Authority, although he only had one in comparison to his mother, it was extremely powerful. His Divine Authority was Earth, not the element of Earth but the world Earth. He can change and reorganization the Earth as he sees fit, however, he was unable to control Nature like his mother thus making him control the skeleton of Earth, not the flesh and blood. He controls the Earth, and Gaia controls everything else. As Raul flew faster and faster to the Human Continent, he wonder why doesn''t he get a mount? It doesn''t seem right to have to teleport or fly everywhere, as it would lower his status. An Emperor without a royal carriage pull by at the very least a Beast Lord was not Emperor, much less a True God like him. He couldn''t capture one of the Beast Lords to be his mount, as they were his mother''s subordinates, plus none of them catch his fancy. As an Emperor and as a True God, only beings such as Dragons and Phoenixes would be acceptable to pull his carriage, not a turtle, a dog, or a stupid cat. Raul ponder if he should ask his mother or father for a summoning scroll, to summon a powerful beast? Raul shook his head as it wasn''t a concern currently, because even if the got a carriage, he wouldn''t have anywhere to go, as none of the nobles from the Alliance Continent dare to make him go to them. Making a God angry was the last thing on their minds, after all; it was already a miracle that he wasn''t angry with them for ''stealing'' a continent away from him. Raul could see his home a few miles away, so he flew at a faster rate, burning through his already small amount of mana. He wasn''t a mage, but a warrior, so it would be okay to call him Battle God Raul or something like that. It was a miracle that he could use magic as he was created to be a pure warrior, the archenemy of all casters. He could kill a caster faster than they could blink or faster than them casting a spell, making him a force to be reckoned with. However, his weakness was also obvious which was long-range attacks. If a caster kept him at a distance and constantly attach him, he would die as his forte was close combat. Arriving above the Human Continent, Raul descended to the ground, startling the mortals around. Everyone on the street after seeing who it was, immediately drop to their knees not daring to stare at God too long, less they combust. In all the churches of Earth, in all of their divine books, one of the rules was not to look at God. If one does they would be profane the gods, which was a horrible crime that could cause problems in the Nether World judgment process when they die. While this continent was called the Human Continent, it doesn''t mean it was a place of only humans. The only reason it was called that, was because the ruler of the place was an Immortal Human. That means of the people kneeling, there were Dwarfs, Elves, Trolls and such. That''s even after most of the non-humans left the continent, to start their own, the Alliance Continent. Raul sign as he was never one to like people worshiping him, however as a God it will happen even if he doesn''t want it to. Walking through the streets, he soon arrives at his place, Earth''s Royal Palace, which means he was in the sole city of the continent, Earth Capital City. He never understands why no one wanted to create new cities and rule them, becoming City Lords, however since Earth Capital City was able to house everyone, he could care less of their choices. However, he knew he would have to create more cities eventually as the population seems to be experiencing rapid growth. At most, ten years later, he will have to create a new city, which will make the continent lively, but make his brother Yama angry. Raul chuckles thinking of his big brother''s face when he saw millions of souls appearing in front of him. However, considering his big brother was a workaholic unlike him, he would not be mad, just surprise. Earth''s Royal Palace was an extremely large white marble building that extended into the distance. White pillar props the roof up, with black rocks beings, use as stairs. The clash of colors made the magnificence of the palace to pop and be the food of the eyes. As Raul approaches the palace, the streets became spares as no ordinary people live close to the palace. The area around the palace was were nobles of Human Continent live, so this place has more class than where he descended at. Before Raul reach the huge black palace doors, they opened automatically, not stopping his regal strides. On the other side of the doors, where many guards dress in white armor, with spears as their weapons of choice. As the guards say their Lord, they saluted, by slamming the butt of the spears on the ground. There were also servants, from maids to butlers who bow deeply and watch as their master walk pass them. Raul didn''t say anything, as he knew that would cause them to worried, thus he walked pass them. As he continued walking, just as he was about to reach his destination, he hears a rushing footstep approach him. He didn''t have to look to know who it was, but since he knew who it was, he signs with despair on his face before turning around with a smile on his face, looking ''pleasant'' at the person, "Prime Minster Leyna, what can I help you with?" In front of Raul was the Prime Minister of the Human Continent and its actual ruler, Leyna Mallya of the Mallya Clan. Since Raul was lazy and couldn''t be bothered to rule the world, he appointed a random mortal from amongst the elves in a moment of boredom, getting a truly intelligent Prime Minister in the process. To be honest he likes the Prime Minister as she was the only mortal that didn''t see him as a God and but an incompetent emperor. She tried anything in her power to make him change and do his job, which was the only problem he had with her. Prime Minister Leyna was a tall elf of two meters with a glistening complexion that seems divine. She had long blonde hair that was braid at both sides of her head, leaving the center normal. Her eyes were big and green, showing she was from a Wood Elf Clan. Her lips were naturally red making her look like a divine beauty, which she was since she was an award the title of, Miss Earth, every single time since no divine entities participated. She was wearing a similar get-up as Raul, however, instead of a robe, she was wearing a white dress with golden stars all over it. The dress only came down to her knees leaving the bottom portion of her legs exposed, making her look very attractive. She was wearing black high heels that made her even taller than Raul by a bit but in aura, Raul still appeared like he was taller. Prime Minister Leyna props her glasses up while holding documents in her other hand. She has a sneer on her face as she heard Raul''s words. "YOU HAVE SOME NERVE LEAVING WITHOUT TELLING ME AND YOU ARE ASKING ''WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH?''" Her chest heaved up and down, which would have been a good sight to see, however since was flatter than the width of a paper, she just seems crazy instead. Raul''s mouth twitches and back up with his hands spread open, trying to defuse the situation. Thankfully the servants and guards disappear so he didn''t have to lose face in front of them. What Raul didn''t know was that the servants and guards knew this happens every time they meet. They would argue like love birds, not realizing their feelings for one another which was obvious. "Calm down Leyna, I have a perfectly good reason for leaving!" Raul back away until his back was to the wall of the hallways, making him a bit nervous as Prime Minister Leyna was approaching him with a fierce look in her eyes. Boom! Prime Minister Leyna slam her hand an inch away from Rauls''s face, hitting the walls, causing the palace to trembled. A palm print of her slender hand was in the walls, but was slowly recovering before disappearing. Her head approaches his face, looking deeply into his eyes, causing him to look away, " My name is Prime Minister Leyna, don''t forget my title! So tell me ''Oh glorious Emperor of Earth'', what so important that you left your duties unattended?" Raul was scared out of his mind as no matter how he saw it, she was definitely not a normal an Elf. What Elf do you know that could damage a Divine Class Item like Earth''s Royal Palace, even if slightly? Even he couldn''t do it and he was a god. This was the reason even though he didn''t like her wanting him to work, he doesn''t dare say it to her face, less he be the first god to fall in one of the craziest ways possible, kill by their ''loyal'' servant. Raul swallow his saliva and timidly spoke, "Forgive me, Le....Prime Minister Leyna, I was called by my father, getting orders, and I''m getting ready to leave." Raul quickly change his way of addressing Leyna seeing her ball her fists up, before telling her everything except the cause of the anomalies and placement of his mother. Prime Minister Leyna''s face pale as she stared into Rauls eyes, not seeing any sign of deciet. "If it''s an order from the Supreme God, I suppose you are not in the wrong. You can go, I will hold down the fort here." Prime Minister Leyna mood seems to change to calm and reasonable after hearing of the Supreme God name. Raul didn''t hesitate to leave immediately, as she was extremely dangerous for his liking. If she snaps and killed him, he will have no place for tears later on. However, while he was scared of the woman, he was even more aware of how important his father''s status was. Just mentioning his name was able to ''save'' his life. Watching Raul running for his life, Prime Minister Leyna wondered what had alarm the Supreme God? It must be something important, If it was not important, Raul wouldn''t be acting that way, she concluded from analyzing his behavioral pattern for over ten thousand years. Prime Minister Leyna eyes flash as she debated if she should meet her father or continuing hiding? After weighing the pros and cons of her actions, she shook her head, as the Supreme God probably already solve the problem, so there is no need to risk her current identity because of her curiosity. Her plan was simply to make Raul fall for her and become his wife, which will make her the Empress of Earth. If she played her cards right, her Mallya Clan could become the sole Divine Clan with a God in the universe. (AN: Her use of the word universe only means the World Tree. For the NPC''s since all they knew was the World Tree and not the bigger world outside of it, their universe is limited. ) Escaping from the beast of a woman call Prime Minister Leyna, Raul heaves a sigh of relief, as he enters his private chambers. Raul began his preparations as he fell asleep on his massive god bed. A leopard doesn''t change its spots, and neither will he change his ways. He was lazy by nature, and he will rather die than become one of those productive individuals. Plus it''s not like he was lazing around, he was conserving his strength for his mission later on; he has plenty of time until the deadline after all. Snoring could be heard inside a massive dimly lit room as a god slept, which shake the very room itself. After who knows how long, an alarm went off inside the room, awakening the god from his slumber. The god stopped the alarm and yawn loudly, as he looks at the clock seeing he had three hours before noon, thus he cleans himself up and went to the teleportation gate inside his throne room, after making sure his enemy was not there. Walking up to the teleportation gate, Raul step in the middle of it, before setting the destination to Hell. The reason he chose Hell as his first destination was that it was faster and would save more time, instead of going up and then down and up again. TO BE CONTINUE ? 8 The Emperor of Earth’s Journey throughout the World Tree~ Hell Sitting inside his Pride Palace, on his throne, Lucifer End Chaos, the Devil, was facing many dilemmas in his operation of Hell. Many people would assume because just because he was the Devil he would not have anything to do or he just sits alone in a dark corner, concocting sinister plans, however that was far from the case. Lucifer was a calm and rational individual who only does things for the benefit of his world. There was little to nothing he wouldn''t do to achieve his goals, but even he had his bottom line, which can not be said about everyone. Sometimes it hard to say who is truly evil from who is good, because mortals are oftentimes more evil than the devil. A devil is only evil because that what they were created to be, a mortal was never born evil, they chose to be. With his mind filled with thoughts of his world, he came to his first problem; turning Hell into a Nine Tier Abyss. He knew this was a nigh-impossible task as he would require enough power to split a dimension into nine planes, which even gods couldn''t do, maybe only his father, a being at the Grand Creator level could. Each plane was like it''s own world with the weakest of the nine planes, able to hold an infinite amount of weak demons. One of the lowest of the nine layers abyss, only beings of DemiGod and True God power level could reside there. (AN: The nine tier abyss is like a pyramid, the lowest level is deep into the Earth, which is where DemiGod and True God demons and devils will stay at. The first level which is the weakest is one the surface, which holds an infinite amount of demons. I noticed I have been switching between demons and devils, they mean the same in this story until said otherwise..) He was amazed because of these aspects of the Nine Tier Abyss, as the amount of freedom and control one would gain over lesser demons would be frightening. With a stronger devil standing in the midst of weaker demons, even without saying anything, they would directly submit to them. Not only that, as a demon becomes stronger, they would gain some strength from the abyss and descend deeper into its depths, gaining control over demons of the level they were once on. This means that the Devil Kings who would be at the lowest level would have complete control over the demons and devils inside the abyss. As a result of the changes that the Nine Tier Abyss would bring, a strict hierarchy would form, and no one would be able to break away from it, unless they were not a demon or devil. However, Lucifer knew these were all his fantasies on his part, not something that would become a reality for many years or never. He could dream because his world was extremely powerful, as it had 18 Devil Lords who are DemiGods. These Devil Lords were innately stronger than DemiGods of Earth because of their cold-blooded nature and the aid they get from Hell. These Devil Lords are in charge of the Eighteen Layers of Hell, which is the prison of Hell, which can capture even gods. However, while these figures are powerful, they are incapable of leaving the Eighteen Layers of Hell inside the True Hell region. This means while they are more powerful than Earth DemiGods, they lose the sense of freedom they had in return for their lack of power. Hell was one of the weakest worlds, just behind Golden Nation, Heaven, and the Nether World, because of there incapability of leaving True Hell, making Hell just above Earth in terms of power. Another one of his problems was also the 18 Devil Lords. The Devil Lords are currently rusty from not being able to torture and seal any powerful evil souls and would probably be like that for a very long time. No DemiGods or gods of the World Tree had any desire to be evil and commit any sins, much less dying and being seal for millions of years. Not only did Hell have the 18 Devil Lords, but it also has the Seven Devil Kings who are equal to True Gods. He was the Demon King who represents Pride of the seven deadly sins and was also calls the ''Devil''. According to legends, he was name Lucifer after Lucifer Morningstar, an ArchAngel that rebel against God and fall to Earth, becoming a Fallen Angel that was later named the Devil. However, unlike the original Devil, he was the True Devil as he was equal in power of a True God. He could not allow pride to control him, instead, he would control it. The other Devil Kings are Devil King of Lust, Devil King of Wrath, Devil King of Sloth, Devil King of Gluttony and Devil King of Greed. Each of these Devil Kings rules over a section of Hell, except True Hell which is controlled by Lucifer, which means he controls two of the eight regions of Hell. These regions are Pride Land, Sloth River, Envy Palace, Gluttonous Earth, Wrath Plains, Greed Field, Lust Valley, and True Hell. Sitting on his throne, he flips through his document, before putting them away. He looks to his right, seeing his wife, Devil King of Lust, Oliva, who was wearing a pink dress. She has her hand on her stomach showing a protrusion, meaning she was pregnant. Olive was an elegant woman with a skin tone that was pale pink. Her hair was also pink and drapes down her back like a waterfall. Her eyes were moist and dreamy, which seem to have charming effects. Her lips were crimson red, which was a darker shade of her fondness for pink. She was wearing extremely revealing clothing that would cause even the strongest of men to have evil thoughts when looking at her. She was wearing a short pink blouse that covers her upper body and right below her breast, showing some parts of it from below. He''d breast were very prominent, as they push out like swords through the paper. One could see her smooth stomach that seems to have a small bump on it, ruining the otherwise ravishing body. She was also wearing a small skirt that stops at above her knee, showing off her long slender legs. On her back was a pair of black leathery wings, that has pink fumes coming out of it. Overall, she was an alluring woman that could only be stopped by the denses of people. Lucifer leans back on his throne, "So how long until it''s birth? I can''t wait to witness the merger of two God-Level Devils. Would it surpass us and become stronger than a True GoI or would it fail to live up to my expectations?" His eyes gleamed as he looks lovingly at Olivas''s belly, not looking one bit like the supreme Devil. He was more like a normal man who would do anything to help their offspring succeed, even going as far as sacrificing their own futures. Oliva frowned and shook her head, "I don''t know how long it will take until it''s birth. Not only that, I can''t seem to find it''s gender, which might mean it hasn''t developed to that stage yet. However, it could also mean it doesn''t have a gender." Oliva, while happy to be bearing the child of a superior True Devil like Lucifer, she was truly confused about having a baby, much less, the third generation of the Chaos Family. If she did not carry the baby right and damage it in some way, her life could be forfeited. Lucifer crimson brows twitched before nodding. It''s understandable that she wouldn''t know much about having kids. She was also probably the first mother inside the World Tree, other than his mother, who will be given birth to a possible True God. As for the child''s gender, Lucifer was not worried since many demons and devils don''t have genders. They could switch to any gender they wanted, which means true love was in Hell, which is quite ironic. This means in Hell, there was no concept of Lesbains and Gays. Anyone could love whoever they wanted without prejudice. "Don''t worry too much, I will ask mother to help you during labor. She is the only person I can trust with such an important matter." Lucifer said as he got up and touch her belly, feeling a powerful life force that was pulsating and pushing his hands away. Lucifer smiles and forces more mana inside her stomach, but he was a shock to find all of it disappear as a bottomless hole resides inside Olivas''s belly. One must know he has pushed up to Six Tier worth of mana inside but it disappears, this means they were carrying for a dangerous devil spawn, which made him chuckle a little. "This little beast is able to drink my mana like nothing, even with the intense demonic aura it carries. It seems to be more like Devil King of Gluttony Kaquan than us, although I couldn''t sense a reaction from its growth after ''eating''.." Hidden Pride, his Divine Authority was visible in his eyes as he stared at his child in the womb with expectations. He couldn''t see much, as all he saw was a back orb of meat that pulsating like a heart. The orb was like the one that most demonic and evil beings have, which tied them to a plane of existence, it is also where one gets their names from, which must not be given to orders, less they use it to control one''s movement. With his Divine Authority of Hidden Pride, as long as someone had even a slight feeling of pride in their hearts, he would be able to control it and burn them to ash. His Divine Authority was indeed Pride, however, that doesn''t mean he had complete control over it. That''s why he fuses his Divine Authority of Hidden Pride and his control over Fire Magic to gain an improve Divine Authority call the Divine Authority of Blazing Pride. A Divine Authority could be different even though someone could have the same Divine Authority as you. It''s hard for someone to control a main Divine Authority, because of the amount of lesser Divine Authorities out there. A main Divine Authority is like Nature, which includes Life, Death, Blood, etc. This authority covers many other authorities which is why it''s hard to control. Even his mother who is called the Mother Goddess of Life, Nature and the World Tree cannot control all of nature''s only parts of it. Life, Death, and Blood are also main authorities that would mean nature was supreme even amongst the Divine Authorities, as even aspects of it were already main Divine Authorities. A lesser Divine Authority is like animals, bird, fog etc. All these authorities are lesser versions of bigger authorities, main Authorities. To judge to see if an authority is main or lesser one must find out what they can do. Nature Authority can reshape an entire world, create life and many more, which makes it a main authority. A Pride Authority can only control the pride inside someone''s heart and use it to turn someone into a demon. Because of that, Pride is a lesser authority. "Darling, I keep telling you to stop that!! If you are not careful, you could hurt my womb, killing my baby!" Oliva looks fiercely at her husband, as a reddish-pink aura surrounds her, blasting towards him. Lucifer smiles and watches her get mad at him, before stopping and frowning grimly before relaxing."Oliva, I must go, my brother Raul seems to have descended to my world." He didn''t wait for her to respond as his black wings opened wide, taking to the skies. . Lucifer couldn''t help but smile as he couldn''t remember any of his siblings coming to hell to see him before. No sane person would like to go to such an evil and demonic place like Hell, as even DemoGods could fall and become Devil Lords if not careful. Watching her husband flying away, Oliva signed and left to return back to Lust Valley. Even though she was carrying the future heir of Hell, it doesn''t mean she can slack off her job. She was a Devil King before she was a mother after all. * Teleporting to Hell, before he could readjust himself to this foreign world, Raul was assaulted by the fiendish aura of evil that tried to corrupt his heart. Thankfully as a God, he innately has his Divine Protection active at every moment. So unless it was a powerful attack by a DemiGod and above, he would be safe. Being the first time in Hell or outside his world for that matter, Raul looks around his surroundings curiously, finding the place quite different from his imagination. From what he heard, and thought of Hell, he expected the moment he came to Hell, he would be hearing constant screams for mercy, however, he didn''t. He also that he would find countless demons reaming around, torturing soul, however, he didn''t. What Raul saw was a world covered in dark and evil energy that seems to gain actual form. Since he was teleported into the skies from the teleportation gate, Raul was flying directly in a could of demonic energy, making him have a good view of hell. From the skies were he was, Raul notice magma falling down to the ground, creating magma rain. These magmas raim we''re not ordinary as even an unguarded Saint(80) would fall, as the heat they produce was ezrradiomary. Below him, instead of the seven continents that Earth had, Hell had one giant continent which was around the combined size of all of Earth''s Continent. This continent was complete black and emitted a dark and heavy feeling. Because of the size is the sole Continent, Raul pause and almost fall out of the sky, from sadness andslight rage. His father had forbidden him from using [Message] to contact his siblings, which means it would take a long time to find his brother. However considering he had time and with his speed, he calmed slightly as his speed was one of his advantages after all. Focusing, Raul looks down on the continent again, gaining as much information as possible. On the continent, he could see many demons, although not as much as he imagined. Even though he saw demons, Raul knew these were only Lesser Demons which barely had enough intelligence to be called a true demon. So if one eliminated them, one would only have a pitiful amount of demons running about, which was sad to see, since the continent was so massive. Raul understood it was difficult for the races even in his world to reproduce and multiple because of how strong his father created them in the beginning. Nature allows the weak to multiple and the strong to dwindle, why? It''s for self-preservation; nature would never allow for strong creatures that could harm it to exist, however since his father broke this rule, the population on Earth has remained the same for many years and only show sign of growth recently. Focusing on the continent, Raul saw the continent was split into eight equal portions, with a huge monument in the center. Around the area monument, the other seven areas surrounded it, like guards, either protecting or keeping something contained. He couldn''t see much about the other areas because of the distance. The only reason he could see the monument was because of its size and the fact all demonic energy would disappear from that location, going to the seven areas instead. Becoming curious about what this monument might be, Raul flew towards it, trying not to attract much attention. As he came closed and closer to the monument, Raul pause and sign feeling uncomfortable in his heart. "Brother, can you stop hiding, it''s making me creep out." A chuckled was heard as the demonic clouds behind Raul rippled and a handsome devil walks out. The Devil had a smile on his face as he watched his brother curiously, " Sorry about that, my excitement cloud my eyes for a moment.it''s just that, I cannot get over the fact that someone finally decided to visit my world." "Brother, have you ever thought that they might not want to visit because of the feeling is being watched was nerve-wracking? Not only that, the one doing the watching is the Devil, the Origin of all Evil. Even I was freaked out and you are my brother, let alone strangers." Raul''s mouth twitches as he retorted, feeling weird as he didn''t sense Lucifer until a slight amount of mana leak out of his body. It was only now he realizes what his father felt on Earth, a creepy feeling of being observed. Lucifer seems to pause for a moment, before nodding seriously, " I will keep that in mind. If I can have others come here, it will open many venues for Hell, making it stronger. A world visit is a world valued!" Raul look at his big brother speechless, wonder if be was really stupid or was be acting? Shaking his head, Raul told Lucifer his reason for coming to Earth. "So father wants to have a family gathering? This doesn''t seem to match his character at all, however, I no, we don''t know him that well either, so who is to say what his real character is? However, it''s a rare occasion with the entire family together, I wouldn''t miss it for the world." Lucifer frowned, but relax his brows soon after. Although he cannot sense the deeper meaning behind the meeting, he was not worried, because scheme and manipulation was not his forte but his little brother Yama. That schemer could find clues and learn new information without anyone''s knowledge, which is frightening. Not thinking about things he doesn''t have to, Lucifer felt his body and mind relax, almost reaching spiritual enlightenment. Looking at his brother, Lucifer asks, "So Raul, what do you wish to do now? It''s your call, father gave you the order, so if you want, I can lead you to Eighteen Layers of Hell that monument which you were flying to." Raul shook his head, "No,I will have to pass. I indeed wanted to visit it, however, you ruin the mood. You even told me what it is, with a little of of-hand research I would learn about it. I like mysteries which is why I hate spoilers." Raul said as he returns back to the teleportation gate, before turning back looking at the somewhat constipated Devil who was shocked. Lucifer was furious about his brother''s moody logic, however, he indeed spoils the mood, so he couldn''t lash out at him. Not only because it would ruin his big brother prestige he had held up for ten thousand years. Lucifer while disappointed that his first visitor after ages was rushing to leave, he could only endure and follow his brother. Stepping inside the teleportation gate, Lucifer and Raul disappear, arriving in the Nether World. When Lucifer left, almost all demons and devils in Hell, even the Lesser Demons pause and look up in the skies as if wishing their Great Master farewell, even if for a while, before continuing working. TO BE CONTINUE ? 9 The Emperor of Earth’s Journey throughout the World Tree~ Nether World Sitting behind his desk, a judging platform, Yama, the King of Death was in a good mood, even if one couldn''t tell from his face since his face was covered only leaving two ghostly green eyes that flowed like the flickering of candles. The eyes were mystical and seem to see the deepest secrets and thoughts inside a person. Nothing and no one can hide from the eyes of Yama! As long as one is alive, they will fear him, the King of Death! Many wonder what the King of Death looks like under his black robe, as no one had ever seen his true form; those who did, have earned the honor of absolute death. However, Because of his eyes, many of the Yama Kings concluded he might be an Undead or a Wraith of some kind, however considering that no one had clues, it remained a secret which only serves to make the undead and servants of Death want to know even more. The unknown might be scary for mortals, but to immortal beings, death means little to them. Which is ironic since death is the source of their immortality. The reason he, the King of Death was in a good mood was because he had gained a whopping number of souls from Earth; which amount to hundreds. To others, the number doesn''t seem to be a lot, however considering there were only ten thousand or so sentient creatures on Earth the number was a great amount. It would have been better if he could obtain souls from the Titans and giants living on the Divine Continent. Unfortunately, they were not mortals and were not prone to death like the beings of Earth. That was one of the mystical powers of the Golden Nation, which stood above all worlds. Even the weakest of creatures on the Divine Continent, could kill many other beings of the same level, and not get wounded. Yama''s job was simple, but important as well. He along with his Yama Kings were to judge the souls that arrive in the Dead Sea and lead to them through the Yellow Rivers, deciding if they should sens the soul Heaven or Hell or in some rare instances, back to Earth with powerful skills and spells. By sending these to their destinations, more beings would be born which would increase the soul count in the World Tree. On rare occasions, a Yama King could decide to kill an evil soul, shattering it to pieces to create new souls, who would be sent to the Dead Sea to heal and grow stronger. (AN: Yep, Isakai. I like this idea and might use it later on.) Because of the low count of souls inside the World Tree, Yama has been scheming of adding the beast and other creatures with spirits into the Afterlife System. The Afterlife System is what he called the invisible power that seems to permeate the entire tree and influence souls. It''s a power that cannot be stopped or be seen by others. Only Yama and his 72 Yama Kings that we''re all DemiGods, could and somewhat use some of its power in the judgment of souls or enhance their strength in battle. There is a big difference between beast and other sentient creatures. Beast don''t have souls, they have spirits which are worse than souls and cannot arrive in Nether World after death, meaning if they die, unless they are revived in seven days, they have truly died and only the Supreme God can bypass that restriction. (AN: Basically all the spawn creature that the tree automatically create on Earth World don''t have souls but sport) This means the Beast Lords and Priestesses of Life are not on the same level, within the Mother Goddess Religion. Because of these differences, Yama believes that in a few decades, after more DemiGods emerge on Earth, two factions would emerge, making his mother be in a somewhat difficult position. That was another reason for thinking of adding the beast in his Afterlife System after he added the Divine Authority of Life into his Divine Authority of Death, creating a brand new authority called the Divine Authority of Reincarnation which would allow him complete and utter control over the Afterlife System. If they could arrive in Nether World, they would not feel a sense of alienation and the scene he foresaw won''t happen. However, Yama knew the Beast Lords were especially loyal and wouldn''t worry about death, even if it could be absolute. He could ask his father to change rules to allow the changes he wanted; however, he was not one to beg for anything. He rather takes millions of years to achieve something someone else could achieve in a day because, in the end, he did it with his own hands. Yama closes the Book of Death as he watches the last soul he judged ascend into a golden portal, that leads to Heaven, which disappears from after. The Book of Death is a world item, an item that needs to be in the Nether World to work. As souls arrive in the Nether World, their souls would be bound to the Book of Death. The Book of Death records all the information that the souls went through while alive, even their past lives if they had one, and help with the judging process. However, the Book of Death made the judging process completely fair, no one can misuse their power. If a judge sent a soul of an evil person to Hell, they would fall from their status and be sent to Hell to repent for many years, before being allowed back to the Nether World, without a chance of being a judge again. That makes it so there is no sense of favoritism, everyone is judged fairly, except beings vital to the development and operation of a world. (AN: it''s not a World-Class Item but an item that can only be used in a world inside the World Tree, thus the name.) Leaning over his desk, Yama look at the pile of documents, and pick one by random. It was titled, [Earth''s Disturbance]. Yama''s eyes glowed as he nodded, "So father was the one behind that surge of power that even shook the Nether World? However with this, my suspicions are confirmed, we are no longer in the domain of Yggdrasil." Placing his hands under his chin, Yama became lost in thought. His mind traveled to few hours ago; where an ancient Will wash over the World Tree, before being forced out by an equally powerful Will. A powerful Will have never dared to invade the World Tree before because of its unique status as the child of Yggdrasil and home of the Supreme God, so he concluded this unknown Will didn''t know of the World Tree, which explained it actions. However, for an outside Will not knowing of the World Tree only meant, they were no longer under the domain of Yggdrasil, because it would protect it''s child and future heir if it''s in danger. That means they were in a new universe, separate from their own. However, without actual facts, he can''t be one hundred percent sure. After all, it could be that Yggdrasil had simply fallen and couldn''t protect the World Tree anymore, which was equally as possible as the first possibility. He could even add these two possibilities together to create an even more perfect idea of what happened. Yama pointed at the information in front of him, burning it to ashes, before picking a new document title [Abnormality of Lucifer]. Yama read the information and drum his fingers on the table, "He is having a child with Devil King of Lust, Oliva? This is indeed an abnormality. He is a True God and Oliva is also a True God but because she was not a ruler of a world, she is slightly lower in strength to a True World God. However, what would a child of two True God rank beings be? Could it surpass our limit of True God? Or would it be an innate True God rank being? This needs of be investigated and kept confidential, a religious war could start between the Church of Hell and the other churches with an imbalance of power between the churches." Yama burn the document to ashes before sending two messages. One to the one that obtains this information for him, one of his many minions spread across the World, which simply said ''DIE''. The receiver didn''t even have time to respond as a huge black finger with wrinkles appeared from the skies, obliterating all life in the area, including it. If anyone had seen this scene, it was truly shocking as a huge finger that was akin to a heavenly pillar descended from a portal and end all life in the area. Every demons and devils in the area didn''t even have time to scream before they were silenced, absorbed by the finger, making some wrinkles disappear. The finger retreated after killing everything, making the scene very ominous. On the black ground of Hell, many Lesser Demons and few Legend Devils, became husk with no life force resides in their bodies. Because of the power of Yamas Divine Authority of Death, which allows him to kill anyone who heard his words, he was feared and which made a saying reverberate throughout the World Tree, ''When the King of Death wants you dead at midnight, don''t expect to live in the morning!'' Of course if one cannot hear Yama word, they won''t die, however considering he has powerful Yama Generals under him, anyone he wanted dead would still die. The second message was to order one of the Yama General, a True God, to watch over Oliva, protecting the future heir of Hell. He could be many things but one thing he wasn''t, and that was someone that leaves things to chance. He would never allow a single hair on a member of his family to be damage; with his vast foresight. Yama picks the last document up, [ Raul''s Mission]. Yama read the document and chuckle before burning it to ashes. He learned all the action taken by Raul, even the place he slept at. Nothing can escape his notice. Yama narrowed his eyes, as he looked at the end of the document that read ''Beware of Leyna'' which soon disappeared in the flames. Of course, he knew about this person and how dangerous she was, however¡...she was too important to eliminate. Her status was not important but her strength and weakness, which he could control were. As long as she grew more, he can add another Yama General to his arsenal, however¡... Yama eyes narrowed even more, as he remembered she seem to fancy his brother. He could tell his little brother fancies her as well, however with her schemes, she will hurt his heart. "I will watch some more, if she finish her plans and it succeed, I will welcome her to the family, however if she fails, I win." Chuckling. which could send a shiver down anyone''s spine, Yama stop laughing and glance outside his Yama Palace, seeing his two brothers. The two of them were flying towards his Yama Palace which was not hard to find since it was the biggest building in the Nether World and also the brightest place in a world full of green and ominous fogs and lanterns. As they flew, unknown to them, two giant eyes which look like green candlelight, glance indifferently at them from the gloomy cloudy skies monitoring their movements, before fading away. . * Arriving in the Nether World, Raul and Lucifer looked around, taking in the sight of this world. The world was covered in green fog, which had lanterns inside, which created a creepy and ominous atmosphere. The air seems to have been placed in a swamp as the air made it difficult for one to move. It seems it has gained physical form. This world was without a continent as it has 72 large islands that each has a black temple on if. In the middle of the 72 islands, a giant landmass sat which had a large palace surrounded by three gains walls. Each wall gave off a powerful and sturdy-feeling like it was impenetrable and couldn''t be broken by even the gods. As this was not the first time he had been to the Nether World, Lucifer was calm and was observing the world with an open mind. Nothing had changed, it was the same as before. Raul was different from Lucifer, as he has never traveled across worlds before today. This will be his second world visited but not the last. He was amazed at how this world seems even more powerful than Earth and Hell combined. However, one thing he notices that this world lack from all its many advantages of power, was noise. There wasn''t even a whisper of a soul or even the rustling of the wind. Even the pitch-black ocean at the end of the world and the rivers which have a yellow hue, which violently flowed, we''re silent, which made the place ever more sinister. Lucifer looks at his brother and saw his pale face and understand what he was feeling. " So you probably noticed already, this world as the world that absorbs the souls of the dead is forever in a moment of peace. No matter how big an impact one wanted to cause, there won''t be a single noise. I know you have not met Yama yet, so just keep in mind he likes to have peace and quite; thus the reason for the world being forever in a state of quietness." Raul nodded as he had never met anyone of his siblings other than today. He was able to tell who was who simply because of a connection he innately seems to have with them. Although he doesn''t like judging things by a surface aspect, Raul was sure he didn''t like this world. Although he was lazy, that doesn''t mean he would seal himself off from the world. A place like this could turn a sane person insane! The only noise they will hear was the noise of their mind, which was even more frightening.. "You seem oddly familiar with this place, i''m guessing you visit here often." Raul raises a brow as he asks. Lucifer became serious as he spoke, " I have indeed been here many times, I like talking to Yama, he doesn''t say much but he listens. Unlike you and the rest of the family, Yama and I are very close as our jobs are similar to the fact we toy with people''s fates. Our talks are the only times I don''t feel like I''m looking down upon or being shamed. You would not understand this, but picture this, in a world of many only one person understands you. Do you know how much pressure that put you under? I might be the Devil and he might be the King of Death, however at the end of the day, we''re are just normal people, who happened to be worshiped." Raul looks a Lucifer''s back as he spoke, as reveal a rarely seen serious expression. He had never known while they had such a grand status compared to the mortals, they would similarly feel like an outcast. He pictures himself in Lucifers shoes and realizes he would probably not even be as half as calm as him. Raul knew in terms of power he was strong however in the field of the mind, he was but a child. Raul didn''t say anything, making an air of silence followed them as they flew towards Yama Palace. He simply flew behind Lucifer as he ponders if it was just Lucifer and Yama that was feeling this way? Could Riana be feeling similar? It couldn''t be right? She lives in a powerful world with many powerful subordinates at her side. Heaven was after all the second most powerful world in the World Tree after the Golden Nation. Raul signed, not noticing Lucifer smiling as he look at him, revealing a sense of pride. He was happy that his brother thought about his words, even though he had to reveal a bit of his heart to him. However it was his duty to make sure he grows and became a good leader or simply a good man. Although he wasn''t a schemer like Yama, he was a master when it comes to reading emotions, this makes him a bit smarter than a regular genius. By reading emotions, one can even read a person''s mind, as emotions are the product of the mind which is a product of the soul. After flying for a while, Lucifer and Raul descended from the skies to a small open space outside the Yama Palace. As they land, they were surprised to see a cloaked figure waiting there, as if he had been there since time immemorial. "I''m honored to host two of the lord of the World Tree, however, since you both seem to be in a rush, what do I owe the honor of?" Yama cold and chilly voice spoke from the figure, sending a chill down Rauls apine. Lucifer frowned as he crosses his hands on his chest, "Yama, stop playing around, I know that brain of yours know already. Also, why do I sense the presence of demonic energy on you?" Lucifer questioned. Yama seems surprised and pauses for a moment, " Indeed I know everything inside the tree except for a few key locations. I know the reason for your visit and would like to house you however, my brother here seems not used to the negative energy which exists everywhere in my world." Yama said as he notices Rauls''s pale face. Raul didn''t say anything as he was truly uncomfortable here. His Divine Protection was not helping him but instead seem to fuel his inner turmoil, as dark thoughts emerge in his mind. If not because he was a powerful God, he would not have endured for this long and kept a somewhat calm mind. Lucifer frown deepened as he turned to Raul and point of him. As be pointed, a pale aura flew out of Raul''s body, before escaping back into the air, transforming to green fog, the fog which was omnipresent in this world. Lucifer pointed again, causing his Divine Authority of Blazing Pride to show up, a split a piece off, seeping into Raul, protecting his body from the negative energy. "Now, Yama, you still haven''t answered me; why do you have demonic energy on your body." Blazing Pride explodes around Lucifer as his aura grew, surpassing the level of True God and was still climbing. The area around him turned golden and twisted as even space seem fragile from his Divine Authority of Blazing Pride. Raul retreated to a distance as he couldn''t take place in this fight, as he couldn''t use his Divine Authority of Earth outside of his world. This made him one of the weakest gods but in close combat without Divine Authorities, he was one of the strongest gods. Yama was calm and shook his head in slight disappointment, " I only kill some insignificant ants in order to preserve the life of my future family member. The best way to keep a secret is to not have a secret to tell. I did indeed step over the line but if given another chance I would do the same thing again." Lucifer frowned and signed as his Divine Authority dimmed and fade away, keeping the trace inside Raul alive. " I wanted this to be a surprise however you already ruin that. You may be my brother, however, you have stepped over the line and interfere in my world affairs more than once, and have pushed my patience far enough. Keep in mind, Hell belongs to me." He didn''t say anymore as he turns and flew off. Yama look at his retreating brother and signed, "Hell is yours and Nether World is mind, however if it means I can protect a family member I don''t mind breaking some unbroken rules. However I am in the wrong in this matter, I apologize." Thinking for a moment, Yama turned to Raul and said, "He will need some time to cool down. So let''s get this over with. [Gate]." A portal appeared and Yama spoke, "This will take us directly to the nearest teleportation gate, so we can go to the next world." Yama step through the portal. Raul looks back at Lucifer flying into the distance and signed. He wanted to help, however, he couldn'', he can''t take sides in a family argument. He understood where Yama was coming from but he also felt Lucifer was right. Each person had their own world, there is no need to cross and break forbidden rules. Raul stepped through the portal and disappear. TO BE CONTINUE ? 10 The Emperor of Earth’s Journey throughout the World Tree~ Heaven and Golden Nation Finale Lucifer was furious as he couldn''t believe his brother did what he did. His brother undermines his authority repeatedly, which could lead to a disastrous event. If any of his subordinates had witnessed this and live, he would be forced to fight against Nether World, which he didn''t want to. A war between worlds was something that no one wanted, especially when the enemy would be a family member. There were hundreds and thousands of rules that govern the World Tree and these are rules that we''re set by the Supreme God. They were set to restrict and enforce the authority of the gods; that was the reason why each True World God mainly stay in their own world. One rule said: No god should interfere in the affair of a True World God''s world. Earth was different, as any gods could have some influence on it but the ruler of that world was still Raul and Gaia. No one can undermine their rules as they were the True World Gods of Earth. Lucifer wasn''t really angry that his brother killed the demons and devils, what he was angry about was that he didn''t want to tell him. If he didn''t sense the demonic aura on his body, he would not know. He only had so many intelligent demons and devils under him, so losing any of them was a big loss for him. The number of intelligent demons and devils in Hell was just a little over a thousand; with the Lesser Demons and Devils filling the rest of the world. For every thousand Lesser Demons there was, one intelligent devil or demon who would be born. Flying through the air, he had the urge to use his Divine Authority of Blazing Pride and kill all undead he sees. However, Lucifer knew while Yama was a sinister individual, he was a person who had a warm spot for his family. He could understand that Yama didn''t want his future nephew or niece to be harmed. Not many could be said to have such a protective family member. Lucifer signed, clearing his heart up. He knew his Divine Authority of Blazing Pride was a double-edged sword which if he''s not careful could influence his emotions and thoughts. Like a moment ago, if he had let go of reason and accept the killing intent and evil thoughts in his mind, he was afraid he would become a Killing God, with only slaughter on his mind. He flew through the air and sense the locations of his brothers were before following behind them. He felt embarrassed about his reaction and his almost descent to a Killing God, making him unsure of how to face his brothers. He was thick-skinned but not at the level of blocking the ''sinister'' words of Yama. * Stepping through the [Gate], Yama arrived inside a black tower which was surrounded by many magical graphs, which were both on the ground and on the walls of the tower. With all the magical graphs, the defense of this tower could be called unbreakable in any world as even gods would be hard press to shake it. This tower was is called a Teleportation Center, an advanced version of the Teleportation Gate. A Teleportation Gate can teleport someone across worlds, however it couldn''t pinpoint an exact location; which was the reason why Raul kept on arriving in the skies every time he teleports using the Teleportation Gate. However the Teleportation Center was different as when one teleports across worlds, one can choose a specific spot to arrive at. This made Teleportation Centers above that of a Teleportation Gate in the field of accuracy in teleporting. As he stood there, Yama was waiting for Raul to arrive through the portal. As he waited, Yama lifts his head, showing his green eyes that shone brightly as he stares at the location he just came from. He raised a hand, pointing in front of him, before deciding not to attack in the end. "Brother, I hope you don''t do anything too drastic, it''s okay if you kill my subordinates, but leave the Yama Kings and Yama Generals alone, that''s my bottom line." Yama said softly as he stood silently. He had a sense the presence of his big brother Divine Authority of Blazing Pride, which was about to be activated; so he knew his big brother was really mad this time. Thankfully as he waited, Yama felt the Divine Authority of Blazing Pride fades away without activating. If his brother had attacked, he wouldn''t have done anything, as long as he didn''t touch the Yama Kings and Yama Generals. He could easily summon or create enough undead to take the place of his fallen subordinates. However, since his brother didn''t attack, he didn''t have to waste any energy. At this moment, Raul step through the portal, which disappear soon after. Before he could readjust himself, Raul frowned as he felt his brother''s divine authority heating up, before transforming into flames that cleanse his body of negative energy before turning silent again. Yama notices the abnormalities of Raul, making him pointed at him, " Don''t move."A long black wrinkled finger came out of Yama''s black cloak, touching Raul on his head. As the finger touch Raul, Lucifers Divine Authority of Blazing Pride faded away, like snow in the presence of sunlight. If this was the complete divine authority of Lucifer, Yama would not be able to cleanse it so easily; as a divine authority was apart of the operations of the rules of the World Tree. Even a trace of a divine authority had terrifying power to kill millions of mortals. This was also the reason that even though DemiGods touch the seat of divinity, they couldn''t compare to obtaining a divine piece of the rules of the tree. This was the difference between a Half-God and a True God. After the Divine Authority of Blazing Pride faded away from his body, Raul felt a powerful and creepy unknown divine authority power seep into his body and covered his insides, absorbing all the negative energy around, creating a grey bead inside his body. Yama nodded and said "That bead is called a Negative Bead, it will absorb negative energy around you, making it so it doesn''t affect you anymore. However, this bead will fade away if it''s not given any energy. I can see you are weak to the atmosphere in my world, so I suggest you feed this bead and have it in time of need." "Thank you, brother." Raul bows slightly extremely thankfully for this Negative Bead. If he could gain more items or abilities like this, he could eliminate all his weaknesses and become a really powerful Battle God. Raul really had too many weaknesses that could cause him to die if he''s not careful of, when he fights someone of equal power as him. His biggest weakness, however, was his nonexistent long-range abilities. If he could find a weapon or even gain a skill that eliminates this weakness, he would no longer have to fear fighting at a distance as no one could defeat him, other than truly powerful gods. "No need to be polite. If I can help you, just let me know." Yama shook his head, becoming silent as he thought about if he should tell Raul about that woman. After weighing the pros and cons, Yama, in the end, decides against it, because even though that woman was powerful, even to some gods, she is not an opponent of Raul. Raul might have that happy go lucky look on his face all the time and lazy, but how could Raul terrifying strength go unnoticed from him? If Raul fought inside his world, even he would have a hard time to defeat him; however, he knew that Raul Divine Authority of Earth was overpowered inside his world, anywhere else and it would barely be able to show up. That was the reason Raul couldn''t cleanse the negative energy inside his body by himself. Raul smile, not knowing how to continue the conversation. Yama was truly cold and quiet most of the time but Raul could see he had a warm heart as he helps and guides him. Not knowing Raul''s thought, Yama smiled and laughed a little, making the air creepy. He walked deeper into the tower and activated the teleportation circle on the ground. After finishing, he turns around and said to his brother," Let''s go, Lucifer will follow us from behind. " Yama didn''t say anymore as he stepped in the teleportation circle, disappearing from where he stood. Raul nodded and walked to the circle, not wanting to stay inside this world any longer, even with the aid of the Negative Bead. Hell and the Nether World we''re places he definitely didn''t want to be at. Both places seem hostile to him, which was bad since he couldn''t use all his strength with the divine authority restricted by him, not being on Earth. As Raul and Yama disappear, Lucifer steps out of the shadows, knowing that Yama knew he was there. There was truly nothing he didn''t know which was frightening; even a thought one had might even be something he already knew of. Lucifer knew he will have to get over his emotions and embarrassment, thus he stepped into the circles, ascending to Heaven; which was ironic to him since even the original Devil would be nervous end cautious of Heaven, but he was somewhat expectant of what is to come. * Boom!! Rain slammed her bedroom door as she flew to her bed, putting her fluffy pillows over her head, trying to surface himself. She had just come back from talking to one of her teachers, the Celestial Lord of the West, Yahweh, a True God. Raina was upset whenever she learn stuff from him. The reason was because he was teaching her the mindset of a Creation God and how to react with one''s followers and worshipers. She would not have been mad if he was actually teaching things that made sense. All he taught her was crap! Excuse her divine language. Let''s take for example things he had thought her in the last hour. What to do when you don''t get you way? Flood the world and pick a few individuals to restart civilization. This alone made her angry as she doesn''t want to kill people, that''s not her job. Her job was to protect and take care of the good souls that came under her wing from the Nether World. A few more examples and one would get were her hatred and confusion comes from. What to do if people don''t worship you? Support a different faction amongst the group and call the other group heretics, before slaughtering them!! What to do if people don''t act the way you wanted? Burn a city to the ground to make an example out of them!! From this, one can see how cruel the Celestial Lord of the West was. Everything must end with people dying to put the fear of God in their hearts. Raina knew if she follows what her teacher said, people would not genuinely worship her; they would act the part and follow the majority, not wanting to be the odd one out. Everything that the Celestial Lord of the West taught he couldn''t be used by her at all. She was not a Creation God but a Holy God. She was the Divine Goddess of Heaven; a goddess whose divine authority was Heaven itself. This means her divine authority was like Rauls however unlike her brother when she leaves Heaven, her power would drop from a powerful True World God to a regular True God. She would not be able to use her divine authority the moment she left Heaven. Moving the pillow away, Raina got herself ready as her next teacher would be coming soon. This teacher of hers was one of her favorite teachers. While Yahweh taught her the mentally of a God, the Celestial Lord of Thunder Zeus thought her about how to use and control her divine abilities. He thought her how and when to use a spell to improve her damage output. To Raina his lesson we''re very important to her as she didn''t have many attack spells and wasn''t a warrior at all. She had the role of support inside a team, as she has many divine and holy spells at her fingertips. Raina was even sure that no one could best her in this aspect, not even her father. In Heaven there were Seven Celestials, who were powerful True Gods who could fight a True Word God to a draw or even win. Each of these Celestials rule over one of the floors inside the Tower of Heaven. The lowest floor was the domain of Yahweh, with the last floor being her domain. The floor below her was where her Archangels, seven in total, who were True Gods, but only slightly stronger than a DemiGod lives. As she waited for Zeus, Raina''s golden eyes flashed as she teleported from the Tower of Heaven to the Heavenly Bridge that resides outside of the Tower of Heaven, unlike the rest of its body, which pierce through the Tower of Heaven, creating a platform for traveling inside this world. The moment Raina disappear, on the ninth floor of the Tower of Heaven, Raina''s residence, a seated figure sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, opened his golden eyes, which were not as mystical as Raina''s eyes but still powerful looking. The figure had in his hands a string of beads and an orange robe on his body. His head was bald and shining, even more so than a mirror. On his head, eight red dots line the front part. His ears were long, almost like elephant ears, only on a human body. His skin was white and clear, looking better than a baby''s skin. Altogether, this figure looks like an esteemed monk that has achieved enlightenment of all things. If anyone inside Heaven had seen this figure, they would shout, Celestial Lord of Nirvana, Lord Buddha! Lord Buddha was the most powerful figure inside Heaven and was the Godfather of Raina, making his status extremely noble. Lord Buddha look at Raina''s destination before closing his eyes and continued chanting. He had already seen her fate, seeing she was safe and not fated to see the River of Forgetfulness anytime soon. Standing on the Heavenly Bridge, Raina waited as she felt a teleportation circle that lead to the Heavenly Bridge activated. She knew only DemiGods and above could activate any Teleportation Gates or Teleportation Centers in the World Tree to do world travel. The reason she came to check the arrivals was that it''s customary to tell the True Word God of the world one is teleporting to ahead of time, so they don''t have to worry; however, she didn''t get a [Message] which made her slightly worried but not much. If it is an enemy, she would have known long ago as such movements would be told to each True World God to make them get ready for battle. As she waited, a teleportation circle appeared on the Heavenly Bridge, not too far away from her, from which Raul and Yama came from. Not even a second after them, was Lucifer who had an embarrassing expression on his face. Lucifer didn''t look at either Raul or Yama and instead look to his sister, hiding his shame. Raina smiled happily seeing her big brothers and went and gave them a big hug. It might be the first time she has seen them, however she could feel her heart and soul screaming that the were her siblings, her family. This was something she didn''t feel from her Godfather, even though he loves her. They hugged her back, even Yama happily hugs his sister. It seems even the King of Death could not withstand his sister charisma. Raina and them talk for a couple of minutes, before asking for the reason for their visit. Learning her father was the reason, she froze and ask again making sure she didn''t mishear. She gained the same answer. As she was about to keep asking more, Raul stop her and ask for them to leave, pointing at Yama and Lucifer as he spoke, " This place is not a good location for a talk. Lucifer is a Fallen Angel and Yama, even though I don''t know what he is, they are not feeling good in a place full of divine energy. " Yama and Lucifer didn''t say anything as their bodies was literally smoking. Although they were not injured or harmed by the divine energy, it made their skin crawl with distaste. Raina nodded, almost forgetting that her family was not all the same. She sent a message to her Godfather and then teleported with her siblings to the Golden Nation. * The skies above the Divine Continent was clear and bright. The rays of an invisible sun shone down on the land, making the many beings on the land more active. (AN: I forgot to say this, I might have in the first couple of chapters, I can''t remember. Anyway, Earth is the only world with an actual sun and moon. The other world might have light but no sun. So just keep that in mind.) Four individuals could be seen walking across the land land admiring the power and majesty of the continent. Raul as the Emperor of the Earth could feel an intense amount of Divine Authority inside the land that constantly protects and reinforce it. To him it made sense since this was a place DemiGods would arrive before challenging the Divine Mountain. All these DemiGods were nukes in their own right, each of them able to destroy massive amounts of land with a wave of their hands, so having an indestructible landmass was a must. Raina was astonished at everything she saw as everything was a novelty to her. This was the first time she had ever seen the world her father rule and just from seeing the rules and strength of this world made her realize this place was truly a place were gods should reside. She even thought of sending Yahweh here, at least he could act like a god all he wants and leave her alone. Yama was calm and silent as this was not new to him. True he has never been to this world before but with his minions reporting back to him, it was like he was here before. Because of his minions, he also knew this world had the Three Supremes and Five National Gods. All of them equal to a True World God!! All of them guard and protect the citizens of the Divine Continent, and also pressure the newly ascended DemiGods who chose the live on the Divine Continent instead of the Golden Continent, the realm of the gods. Lucifer frowned as he felt his divine authority acting up which means there were people who had pride hidden in their hearts. As he senses it through his divine authority, Lucifer look shocked as even the smallest child had an intense amount of pride inside of them. The pride inside the adult was like bonfires, extremely clear in a dark place. As he tried to control their pride, he couldn''t, it was like a rule was covering them up and hindering his abilities. Raina looks to her brothers as they rapidly move towards the Divine Mountain, leaving after shadows in their wake. On their journey, she noticed they didn''t see any beast, only giant trees; which had powerful defensive abilities, however to them, it made no difference, if they wanted to destroy them, they had no choice but to be destroyed. The reason for the lack of beasts might only be because no one had ascended for many years so the Divine Continent had been in a state of rest, waiting to awaken. She did notice around the sole city on the continent, Holy City, the area was barren, which means Holy City was cut off from the sea of giant trees. Raina shook her head and came back to reality, and ask her brothers a question that has been on her mind, "Do any of you know the reason behind this meeting? I''m really curious about it." Lucifer answered, "I don''t know, however Yama should; he''s the smartest one here after all." He didn''t feel ashamed admitting this fact. If anyone had an idea of what was going Yama would be the key to that question. Of course, Yama had some ideas of what was going on, however, he would never admit it. So he answered in his hoarse voice, " I don''t know the reason for this meeting, I just know it''s been important to our father for him to call us here." Raul agree with Yama, "True, father loves his world and had not given us entry until today, so the matter must be a big one." Even he was confused as to the reason of this meeting. His father has cut his world off from the rest of the World Tree, but all of a sudden after ten thousand years, he allows them in? It really seems odd no matter how one looks at it. As they spoke, they reach the base of the Divine Mountain which was in the center of a vast lake, which they would later learn was called the Divine Lake. The water of this lake was crystal clear that one could see the bottom of and very heavy. Even without touching the water, just by looking at it, one could see even a strong gust of wind, couldn''t cause a ripple on its surface. Yama looks at the water deeply, before saying, "This lake is full of positive energy. I''m afraid that just a sip of this water was equal to a high-grade potion; it seems our father is very extravagant to allow this to be on the Divine Continent." Yama was somewhat surprised this time as he has never known this place existed. In fact, he couldn''t approach the Divine Mountain with his minions, as they would be killed by the Divine Warriors. Only divine beings could approach it and survive. The other nodded as they too had noticed it. If a demonic or evil being fall into it, even a true God would not survive. The lakes water was too pure. They soon ascended the Divine Mountain and easily pass it, as the mountain only test to see if they have any divinity, which they all had. Reaching the end of the Divine Mountain, they step on the stairs leading to the sky and arrive at their destination, the Golden Continent. (THE END OF THE FLASHBACK) TO BE CONTINUE ? 11 NPCs View of the World ~Takes place in the second chapter~ Clan Leader Brain was reading the latest report his daughter sent back to him and was happy that their plan was on the brink of being completed; however, she sent word that her target had disappeared, making him worried, as he just hopes the Emperor of the Earth Raul, wasn''t aware of their plan or else they would be doomed. The plan was something his daughter had come up with when she was only a thousand years old, just a teenager in human years. She was a special child that was born a DemiGod, making her the future of the clan. She had no concept of age since a DemiGod was immortal, and cannot die of old age. He had to use seals and runes his father had created when he was alive, to restrict her power to the level Saint, so she doesn''t break the divine rule of expelling divine entities out of Earth. The plan was to honey trap the Emperor of the Earth, making him be the father of her children, kick-starting the rise of the first divine clan with a True World God as the clans backer. Plus with her being a DemiGod, and him a True God, the children they would create would naturally be divine children. They would then slowly and surely spread their influence in the other worlds, becoming a terrifying faction that DemiGods and even True Gods would give face and respect. After all, with them having the backing of a True World God, other True World Gods would not be able to overlook them or attack them without reason. The last point was what was important to the Clan Leader Brain as he was sure if the other True World God of Earth, the Mother Goddess of Life, Nature and the World Tree realize this fact, she would destroy them to protect her son. It''s rumored that the Mother Goddess was a mother through and through. Her children were a big part of her wellbeing, so killing people although it would tarnish her divine status, it''s a big possibility she would do it. Clan Leader Brain with his knowledge and his status knew he would do the same thing if someone scheme against his daughter. She was the only child he had, so he was protective of her, especially when her life and death involves the rise and fall of the Mallya Clan. All of them could fall, but the clan can''t. On the Alliance Continent, clans were the supreme power that controls everything. There were hundreds of small clans but there were only twelve great clans who control the places with the most resources and power of the continent. Mallya Clan was one of the twelve clans and was in the top three amongst them in power. The Mallya Clan rooted itself in the center of the continent, with the two other supreme clans. The other clans are the Blok Clan and the Fire Clan. Because of the two other clans in close proximity to the Mallya Clan, conflict ensued. The Fire Clan reign as the absolute boss of the continent, because the clan was comprised of Dragonborn''s. This clan was full of arrogant Dragonborns who disdain all other clans, thus as long as no one mess with them, there won''t be a problem. Where the conflict came from was the Blok clan which was made up of Night Elves who believe themselves to be the representative of the Elven Race. Since the Mallya Clan was a Wood Elf Clan, one could see where the problem came from. The conflict between the two clans became even more strained and hostile because Leyna became the Prime Minister of the Human Continent, which means only the Fire Clan could rival them. Being an officer of the Human Continent government, no one would dare to offend them; of course if one could kill an official without leaving behind clues, that was another story. No god would waste time to look into such a small matter, thus the reason why the Blok Clan was so overbearing. So what if you have a DemiGod in your clan? We have DemiGods too! So what if you became an official of the Human Continent government? We have allies inside the Mother Goddess Religion!! These two clans have been battling each other since the first generation of natives arrived on the continent. Each clan had deep and heavy ambitions; with neither willing to see the other succeed. As he was thinking of how to resolve this issue, Clan Leader Brain looks up with shock in his eyes. Although he was inside his office in the clans compound, as a powerful Mythical Rank being, such obstacles were not able to block his vision. The once clear and sunny skies above the clan became pitch black and ominous; as the world seem to be on the verge of collapse. Dark wind swept through the land, making all beings on the continent, tremble and look fearful of the skies. Even the Clan Leaders of the other clans, big or small was alarmed. Even the Fire Clan who rarely made an appearance showed up and activated their supreme arrays left by their dragon ancestors, who reside in the Golden Nation. The Fire Clan was not the supreme clan of the Alliance Continent just because they were powerful. If that was the case, all the clans could''ve decided to work together and wipe them out. The reason they are not attacked by the other clans no matter what; is because of the Ancient Fire Dragon who was said to be stronger than a True God and was also the entity who created the Dragonborn''s, Fire Clan. Clan Leader Brain frowned as this seems quite suspicious to him. He has just thought about the next step in his plan to become the father in law to the Emperor of Earth, and this happened. If this was not a warning, he doesn''t know what was. His frowned disappear as the skies became clear once again, returning to normal like nothing had happened. He was thinking of what kind of being or what kind of rules could''ve been broken, to cause such a scene. As even the strongest of gods couldn''t make the skies of an entire world turn black, well, maybe if they use their legendary divine authorities. Worry emerge on his face as he looked at the Human Continent. He only hopes everything works out; because he has an uneasy feeling that it won''t. (AN: Inside the World Tree, level 100 is considered a True God, (strongest of the God level is True World God), level 90 a DemiGod(HalfGod), level 80 a Saint, level 70 a Mythical, level 60 a Legend, level 50 a Sage, level 40 Hero, level 30 Master, level 20 Awakened, level 10 Mortals and below. This is a general placement of power inside the World Tree, it is prone to changes.) * Samuel Kern, a high noble of Human Continent, as usual, had a long and tedious day monitoring the operation of Earth Capital City, securing the taxes and writing future plans to expand upon the sole city of the Human Continent. With the information that he gleaned today, he was sure he would have to bring this matter up to the Emperor not too far from now. The population of the city had exceeded the max limit the city could hold which was ten thousand people. Currently, it was not a problem, because the new addition to the population were babies. However, even though this brought the city sometime, another problem came up, food shortage. With a growing population, especially young children who would need a massive amount of food to have a healthy upbringing, the food storage of the continent wouldn''t even last a year, and that was him trying to utilizing every last piece of food. This would not have been a big problem if the Human Continent could grow and raise their own source of food, because the continent was one of the biggest ones on Earth. However, the continent was barren, with not even a blade of grass growing on it. All the food came from either the Beast Continent or the Alliance Continent. Meat and clothing products are brought from the Beast Continent as the Barbarians would sell them for medicine and weapons. From the Alliance Continent, they get all their clothing and rare materials. Samuel was worried about this, as he knew being over-reliant on others was bad. The only reason the other continents we''re continuing business with them was because of the Emperor of the Earth Raul. No one wanted to mess with him, however, Samuel was still uneasy about this problem. He had asked the Emperor to make the Human Continent fertile to be able to produce its own food. But every time, the Prime Minister Leyna would interfere and the problem would not be brought up, making him disappointed in the Emperor as be could see he was easily manipulated. A weak Emperor would only cause a strong nation to collapse. Samuel doesn''t understand why the Emperor of Earth doesn''t simply use his divine authority to solve this problem. Oh, he digress. According to his estimates, he had only a few more years until they would be forced to solve all these problems or else they would have a knife hanging over their heads when the problem drop from the skies. Clink! Samuel sat at the head of the table inside his castle, which was situated next to the Royal Palace of Earth. The Emperor had seen fit that all his nobles would be in arms reach, so he could all upon them in time of need. However, Samuel was no fool, even if the Emperor was stupid, he was still worried about the nobles becoming too powerful. It seems even gods are no exception to fear of losing power. On his plate was a rare piece of Wyvern meat, with blood wine in a clear crystal wine glass. The wine was the condense blood of a wyverns. This food and wine possess a very good effect on the body, especially a weak human like him. If one ate enough of this food, it''s possible to increase one''s lifespan, beyond the natural limit or even cause a mutation, becoming a stronger version of one race. The long brown table was occupied by his wife and his children. His wife was to his right, dainty eating her well-done steak. His three young children, all girls, were eating their food, showing their noble upbringing. Making him smile with pride. Although his family has lost many family members in the time of his great grandfather, as a result of his hard work over the years, he was able to bring some new people into the family, expanding and strengthening it to a high state. Nowadays only a few noble families could rival his own. As it was customary not to talk while eating, the room was quiet, with the light sound of chewing and silverware hitting against plates. After eating for a while, he put down his silverware, causing everyone else to stop eating and look at him. Everyone eats when the head of the family eats and stops when they finish, only continuing when they left. This was to make the head of the family, have a higher status than the rest of the family. Basically, it was a slow kind of brainwashing, which made people more willing to obey him if they were exposed to it for an extended amount of time. "Eliza, I plan to speak to his Majesty in the coming days. I wish to speak to him about creating a second city, making myself a City Lord, a new type of noble I deem should exist. Our status would only be second to Prime Minister Leyna and his Majesty." Samuel said as he looks at his wife. He has always told his decision to his wife, as she was his partner and confidant who helps him create a good plan for anything he does. Sometimes he was confused of why didn''t she become an official herself, as she could reach a high level on her own. The Human Continent was not like the Alliance Continent who believe woman couldn''t amount to much. Look at the prime minister and one would understand that there was absolutely no limit to hard work and dedication. One''s imagination was the limit. She didn''t seem surprised as she expected as much from her subtle information gathering over the last month. However, with her information, she became confused at the intention of the Prime Minister, why was she leaving her husband alone and not eliminating him from the equation? If it was her, that would be her course of action as it would make everything else easier down the line. However, she must say, even now she had no idea of what the Prime Minister''s scheme is, which made her surprise, curious and bit¡fearful. "I understand, just be careful; that Prime Minister Leyna doesn''t seem normal. I keep feeling she would find a way to stop your political advances." She said as she wipes her mouth which had gotten a bit bloody from her medium-rare steak. She licks her lips a little, making her look intoxicating; especially when she was looking directly at Samuel in the entire process. "I feel the same, she is not as she seems on the surface. She is like the surface of the ocean, it''s beautiful to look at from a distance but dangerous once one looks beneath the surface." Samuel agrees as even with all his political schemes, he couldn''t get an accurate gleam of her power. She is always hiding as if she knew of his actions. Unfortunately, even though he wanted to pressure her, he couldn''t because she was extremely powerful as he learns from all his research and because she seems to be held in high esteem by the Emperor. He could belittle her but he couldn''t belittle a god. The room became quiet once more as eating commenced. As they eat, everyone in the dining room paused and looked up, seeing a darkened skies. The skies seem to foretell the beginning of the end. Samuel calmly and unhurriedly spoke to the servant standing in a corner, "Bring me that bottle of God''s Tears, it seems it''s a good occasion to drink it, who knows, it might be the last time have." The servant bowed, "As you will Lord Samuel." The servant left and disappeared from the room quickly, slightly panicky as she looks at the skies. She never thought her first day on the job would be the day she dies. She wonders what her mistress was doing, was she scared? Or does she still have her elegant demeanor in this time of doom? Sign, if not because of her mission to collect information on High Noble Samuel Kern, she would be at her mistress side. On the Human Continent, there were two types of nobles. High Nobles who are the first and original nobles that serve the Emperor for many generations. Low Nobles who are people that earn merit and gained their titles. These types of nobles live further away from the Royal Earth Palace, which is how commoners determine if someone was influential or not, by the distance away from the government of the continent. Lady Eliza smiles faintly not minding the doomsday outside their little world. There was little that could cause her to frown much less frightened, "I never thought you would bring out your prize wine. If I''m not mistaken this is an item your great-grandfather got from the Supreme God as he was created to be a noble in the service of his Majesty." Unlike their parent''s cold indifference to life and death, the three little girls we''re shaking as the look out the window, hugging each other in fear. Only in time of danger did one learns who one''s true friends we''re, and these little girls learn they love each other greatly. Instead of rushing to their parents, they rush to each other. "Indeed, however, it''s time for us to rise up and become someone. We have served his Majesty for generations and now it''s our time to make a bang. I wish to create my own nation." A rare smile emerge on his face as he revealed his deepest secret. There was no point in hiding something when the world was ending after all. The servant came back and Samuel told her to sit with them, as they drink their lives away. The servant happily took a sip to wash away her frightened state of mind. In death, status makes no difference, because, in the end, everyone will die. Samuel didn''t realize he dodges a bullet as the servant didn''t hear what he said about his dream, if not? It''s anyone guesses. * As the weakest of the Beast Lords, Beast Lord Crimson Cat had the smallest territory, with the least amount of beast in it. As she was a fire creature, her territory was to the far north of the Beast Continent where there many active volcanoes. She usually slept directly in the center of the largest volcano. The more she slept, the more powerful she becomes, still she was not a match for her two younger siblings. Her younger brother, Beast Lord Slaughter was a huge white dog who had an insane speed and a terrifying aura which can influence all weaker creatures around himself, causing them to fall in a moment of madness. According to their mother, Mother Gaia, If he continued down his path, his divine authority might be either Chaos or Madness the moment he became a True God. Her other younger brother, Beast Lord Mountainous was an island turtle which was the size of a small island. On his back was the headquarters of the Mother Goddess Religion, the sacred temple, in which the goddess slept. As an island turtle, more so, a descendant of the World Turtle, he possesses an unbreakable defense that not even True Gods without their divine authority could break. Each of them, the Beast Lords, had an advantage over one another in one aspect or another. For example, in regenerative and firepower, she was the strongest. In defense, Beast Lord Mountainous was undefeatable, and Beast Lord Slaughter had the fastest speed and strongest killing moves. She, the Crimson Cat, had just woken up from her deep slumber, when she felt the air change. Usually, as she slept, she felt a feeling of dullness as if everything around her was an illusion, a fake world, however, everything changed and became real as if someone put an On switch On. She decides she must leave her ''home'' and see the outside world since it had been ages since she last walked the land. As a result of her absence, maybe none of the current beasts know of her, not that she was worried as she could tell most of the beast we''re stupid even for a beast. They move around like soulless creatures as they eat and mate and then die, not doing anything worthwhile. As she moves, the entire volcano shakes and quakes, with a little bit of magma flowing from the opening, making it seem it was about to erupt. She slowly clawed her way through the ''narrow'' passage before freeing herself and reaching the surface. It''s been so long since she had seen the pure blue skies and smelled the clean refreshing air flowing by. She shook her body as she cleans the flowing magma off her skin. She had always hated the feeling of any kind of liquid on her skin as it made her miss the sensation of her tongue on her fur. As she stood tall on the peak of the volcano, it made her look majestic, as she was a giant beast that was around 10 meters tall and around 20 meters long. She has orange fur that had black spirals on both sides of her stomach, with her paw being black, making her look like a dignified Beast Lord. Her eyes were reddish-orange, which made it look like the magma in her surroundings. All of a sudden, her huge body trembled as she looks at the edge of the continent. The part of the continent that didn''t belong to any of the Beast Lords, it was free beast land. Over there she senses a strong aura that made her mother''s aura look like a firefly to the moon. As a beast, especially a Beast Lord, she was able to easily judge how powerful someone was. That''s how most beast know who is powerful from who wasn''t. Who to attack and who not to. Her body trembles fiercely as her instinct where telling her to run, an apocalypse was near. As if on cue, the entire skies above the Beast Continent, no, the world became blacker than the darkest colors of the abyss. Her body laid flat on the ground as her legs didn''t listen to her orders of running away, but instead shivering. Her ears were flattened against her head, making her look pitiful. She didn''t care about how unsightly she looks as she was scared out of her mind! Usually, since she had her brothers, she was not scared of anything. Mainly because if they work together, even a True God would not be their opponents, however, whatever she was seeing or more accurately, sensing, was far beyond a True God power level. So it was something she had to fear. A huge rift appeared on the continent consuming many of the beasts around, causing the hair on her body to stand on end. The riff was like the mouth of a hungry beast, as it''s gaze ''look lovely'' over its body, seeming wanting to eat her as well. Her heart was beating like a drum, as she felt it would jump out of her chest any moment now. Her heart calm down a little as the riff reluctantly close itself and disappeared. However, before she could calm herself completely, another event happened. A huge magical circle appeared and cause a snowstorm to hit a portion of the continent. Crimson Fox ran back into the volcano, and decide to seal her volcano shut and not come out until a million years had gone by. She didn''t dare to stay outside any longer, as she fears for her little life. She didn''t realize that even her brothers we''re scared shitless. If she did, she would feel a lot better alas she didn''t, so she was living in a state of fear. * Tiffany was different than her sisters as she didn''t think the same way as them. Because they were DemiGods, they decided to spread their faiths in order to obtain godhood, however, she was different. She didn''t forget her duty and become blinded by her current status as a powerful DemiGod. Her job was to spread life to places without it, which brought her to her current problem. She had decided instead of spreading her faith she would transform one of the four other barren continents into a living one and develop a paradise on Earth. However she had been on the continent for many years and she doesn''t seem to be even close to succeeding, in fact, she couldn''t see any hope at all. The continent was far too big and had too many rocks and materials in them which halt the growth of the plants she sows in the earth. The plants would grow normally for a few days, making the area around her look beautiful, and then wilted away, being ashes in the wind. Because of this, Tiffany knew even a True God would be hard press to transform the continent. Only a powerful Goddess like her Mother could achieve it. With her Divine Authority over Nature, this would be an easy thing for her, however as this was her idea and self impose mission, she felt the need to do it herself. She signed as she went back to her camping ground and decide to continue when she had a better idea of what to do. It made her feel bad not being able to spread her Mother''s divine authority over Life across the world, however, she understood she had to take it one step at a time, only then would she succeeded in her mission. Because her camping tent has much protection, Tiffany has no idea that an event had just happened that many would later term the Apocalypse had swept the land. If she had seen it or felt it, who knew what her reaction would be? Maybe too much protection was a bad thing? * Sitting at the bottom of the ocean, away from prying eyes, Malakai was bored as there was absolutely nothing for him to do. If it was not because of his Emperor''s orders, he would have left long ago. However the orders of the Emperor were supreme and above his own life, so he could only obey. In the ten thousand years at the bottom of the ocean, he had not come across any creatures making him confused. Maybe the ocean was like the surface, having a little amount of life? That would explain it, however considering the reproduction ability of sea creatures, it would not take long before the ocean is filled with life. The creatures of nature are frightening in the matter of adapting and reproducing. Especially creatures with barely any intelligence. He did find this odd, but he brushed it off as Mother Nature(Not Gaia) protecting itself by limiting what it''s children could and couldn''t do. Just imagine an army of cockroaches with intelligence rivaling that of a human was frightening. Malalai shivers a little feeling alarm by his disgusting thoughts. Now he felt no woman would want him because of his skin crawling imagination. As the number of years he spent in the ocean was longer than many civilizations combined, Malakai became bored that he built a city below the ocean. The city was extremely large surpassing Earth''s Capital City in size but losing out in defense. The city he created had a barrier around it, which kept the ocean water from going inside, making the city a miracle of the ocean. The city had wide roads, tall buildings and lots of room to expand on. Malakai thought grimly as he looks at the limitless ocean and signed. He had heard there were mermaids and sea people in the ocean, however, considering how large the ocean was, the chance of meeting one was slim. If he had a wife, he wouldn''t mind bringing her to live with him, populating the city. Unfortunately, it was only a fantasy as he had no such person in his life. He became serious as he senses tumors running through the ground, before signing. He cannot leave this place until his Emperor tells him to, so even if his Emperor was in life and death situation, he couldn''t help. Yawning loudly, he went to his room which was in the huge palace that stood in the center of the city and went to bed. Sleeping was the best thing he could do for the time to move faster as even building things get old when one built an entire city with no one around to see it. TO BE CONTINUE ? 12 A Date Between Gods ~Present Day~ After finishing all the immediate tasks on hand, and leaving his children to their own devices, Lain decided it was time to attend an even more important event, spending time with his wife. Before he became an orphan, he had seen how cold and emotionless the relationship between his parents was. They didn''t talk much or even spent time with each other. When his mother died, his father only raised an eyebrow before continuing on his task, in a calm and indifferent manner. Since he had lived with examples of what to expect if he didn''t spend time with his wife, there was no way he would allow the relationship between Gaia and him develop to such a stage where they didn''t care about each other. He didn''t want his children to go through what he did, however, considering they were mature people, he doubts they would become as desperate as he was when his life collapse before him. One doesn''t miss ample water until the well becomes dry. Lain only understood when his father ''died'' a few days after his mother, that his mother meant for more to his father than he thought. The stress of being alone and raising a child had put him under intense pressure which was too much to bear, so he hangs himself in his bedroom. With both his pillars gone, Lain lives on the scraps that the high-class people toss away, living the life of a rodent. Thinking about it made him miss his second mother, the old lady, who took and raised him when he had no one. A thought flashed through Lain''s mind, was it possible for him to bring her here? He could use magic and even his Rule Creator skill. If he spoke of what he wanted with the Rule Creator, she would be reborn or more accurately resurrected to his side, with nothing being able to separate them henceforth. Rule Creator makes anything he wanted a reality, with a few exceptions such as destroying Yggdrasil, creating a new race, or breaking the balance of the game, etc. One example of what Rule Creator could do was time. if he wanted time to stop, it will, and not start unless he said otherwise. Because Rule Creator was a Dev skill, there was no time limit on how long the rule could take effect. There was also no cost for using Dev skills since these skills existed before Yggdrasil, so it would make sense that Yggdrasil won''t be able to impose its rule on the Dev skills. Even though Rule Creator was an excellent skill, it had one major flawed and that was the number of rules he could create at one time. He could only create three rules at once, and if he tried to create a fourth one, he would have to cancel one of the active rules. Lain didn''t even consider bringing his birth parents to his world if he could, because as far as he was concerned, they were not his parents. True, it might have been the environment that made them the way they were, that still doesn''t change the fact that they didn''t love him at all. It was more like they were going through the motions, of giving him food and shelter. It was like they were treating him like some kind of pet, the only difference was that the pets would garner some attention, while he didn''t. However, the old lady was different, she loved him as if he was her true son, which made his heart feel warm. The more time he spent with her, the more clear the concept of ''mother'' became, which was when he gained a mother and kin. Clearing his somewhat longing mind, Lain brought himself back to the present. He felt he need to control himself better, as he was forgetting the woman in his arms. Thinking about other things with such a beauty in one''s arms was akin to slapping God in the face, for wasting time creating perfection. Or in this case, slapping himself in the face. Lain lean over and kiss her on her crimson lips as he marinated in the feeling of sublime bliss. When one has everything in arms reach one becomes complacent and forgets the meaning of hard work and dedication; which means they would not reach their full potential since their own vision limits their views. That was Lain''s current state; he had a loving wife and four great children, so what more could he hope for? Lain shivered as he broke free from the delusion clouding his mind. Lain heart became cold and scared as he only realizes now why it was said that beautiful women were the downfall of nations. It was not that people were stupid, it was because they were stuck in a fantasy, which made them forget reality. Of course, there were probably a few stupid people amongst the many smart ones. Hiding his emotions and sweat on his back, Lain examined his location and realize he was in the exact place he was when he had just arrived on Earth(Chapter 2). He was next to the large lake, which seem to have recovered, as there were many beasts close to the waters. As the beasts saw him, they walk around him, avoiding him as if he was some kind of plague. They approach Gaia and brush against her, before continuing on their way, which made Lain laugh a little inside. Lain looks down in his arms and realizes Gaia has been staring at him for some time now, without saying anything. Her arms were wrapped around his powerful frame, with her large breast pressing softly against his chest, making his heart shake a little. Looking at her, Lain knew she was fallen deeply in love with him; which was not a surprise as be had fallen deeply in love with her as well. Although he must say, he does feel some kind of surrealness of how fast they confessed and became deeply attached to one another. However, he knew he loves her and would do horrifying things to whoever dares to harm her; not just her, his family. He signed as he knew they had seeped into his heart, unknowingly occupied a portion of it. Releasing her from his embrace, Lain held her hand as they took their first step on their first date. He didn''t realize as he took her hand that she smiles brightly that the brightness of the sun and stars were like a firefly before the moon; too insignificant to be used as a comparison. Just her smile alone could place her as the Queen amongst all women, no matter how beautiful, after all, she was a goddess, who possesses the charm of a loving mother. The moment she arrived on the Beast Continent, Gaia felt like a rootless tree finding its home, making a feeling of fullness overcome her. This was just like how Raul prefer the Human Continent, the Beast Continent was her home. On a continent full of nature and beast, she was in full control and welcome by everything, from the ants crawling on the ground to the will of nature. From this, one could see why she is called the Goddess of Nature amongst other things. As the two walk over the continent, it was like two ants walking in tall grass. The trees that surrounded them, were tall and resilient to most damage. They were so tall that sunlight couldn''t even flow through, to touch the ground. Being curious, Lain tested the durability of the trees, confirmed it, even with a light pat from him, the tree still stood tall and firm, without shaking. It might not seem like much to unlearn people but to someone who knows their stuff, it was amazing. It was like seeing a flying pig. At the end of the day, Lain was a Chaos Titan, maybe the only one in this universe, who has infinite mana and strength. A light pat from him could cause a full-grown elephant to become a meat paste on the ground. So for these trees to be able to withstand his pat, without even shaking, only means the trees were either indestructible or adaptable. He believes it was the last one since even indestructible was like a thin piece of paper to him. After walking around for a few minutes, Lain realizes he couldn''t find any romantic spots. If he had used World Connection he could, however, he didn''t want to spoil the fun, so he asks Gaia to lead the way. He was not wrong in his choice of guide, as Gaia immediately lead them to a romantic spot, which was only romantic by their standards. Others would probably not find it romantic, no matter how hard and long they looked. The place Gaia lead them to was an open plain with many holes in the ground. Around the area, one could see many tall and white muscular dogs that made dragons and tigers look like a light snack. Around the eyes of these dogs was dark markings that made the dogs look regal. The dogs were lazing around, or running about on the plains, killing any prey they could find, which was kind of like bullying on their part. Most of the animals of Earth might be larger and stronger version of the animals on the real Earth, but they were still not able to withstand a swipe from the dogs paws. Lain had seen one of the dogs wag its tail and a lion that could have been considered a Lion God back home was killed by the wind pressures, what made it odd was that the dog didn''t notice it. Amongst these huge dogs was an extremely giant one that made the others look like toddlers before their parents. The giant dog stood at a height of 20 meters and a length of 40 meters and has human-size fangs that shone with deadly light. The large dog all of a sudden stood up, and sniff the air, before approaching their location. This was amazing because although they could easily see the dogs, it didn''t mean they were close by. Gaia and him were standing a few miles away, observing the dogs, which was easy for the two of them. As he sniffs the air and gets closer, Slaughter smelled a familiar scent. He knew this scent like the back of his paws, since the scent belongs to his mother. However, Slaughter was confused as he smelled another scent next to his mother, and it didn''t small like Raul''s scent. Reaching before his mother and the owner of the weird scent, Slaughter laid down and head-butted his mother. She smiled as she patted his head, making his tail wag and cause miniature tornados. However, while she pats his head, Slaughter was observing the male; as he felt an intense amount of danger from him. It was not that the male was hostile against him, it was just how the aura of strength surrounding him naturally too powerful. This feeling was like how a human didn''t know of the many ants they step on in a day. From the ants perspective, the human would have an aura around themselves that made them feel danger instinctively, which was what he was feeling. Of course, he didn''t believe the male had killed any of his children, so it could just be his instinct of self-preservation was warning him of the danger. Just like how Slaughter observed Lain, Lain did the same. He could tell the dog was wary of him, and he understood why. Lain had come to the realization that he was extremely powerful to the point that he wondered if God could match him. Many wouldn''t notice this from just look at his body but those who do will fear him. This made him quite unhappy to be honest as having such an exalted status was something he didn''t want. The only reason he wanted his authority to be firm was that in the event that he couldn''t use his powers and the NPCs rebelled against him, however, he could see for the most part that the NPCs we''re loyal to him. Lain shook his head and spoke to Gaia, "Gaia, let''s go, we have many other places to visit." Lain walked away, feeling a sense of desolation in his home. He shook his head as he signed, this will happen over and over again whether he likes it or not because of two reasons, his Supreme God title and his unlimited power. No one would dare speak freely with someone like him, as even his family didn''t. Gaia was just starting to speak her mind to him, but he could sense she would step aside for the more important matters as she didn''t want to overreach her limit. Gaia pats Slaughter''s head and ran back to Lain''s side. She could be his sense of loneliness but she didn''t do anything but hold his hand. Words were sometimes useless when actions have more impact. Lain smiled brightly and turn to look at the still lying down giant dog and point at it, causing a massive amount of mana to flow into its body. He didn''t stay to see what will happen, as he steps forward and disappeared from the spot. * With the words of the stranger to his mother, Slaughter, body shook as enlightenment flash across his eyes. The identity of the male was obvious at this point, he was the Grand Creator of everything, the great Lain End Chaos! If he thought about it some more, he saw that his mother was holding the hand of the man, and was acting quite intimate with him; so since she was married to the one above all, the stranger''s identity was obvious. Slaughter became a little frightened at how rude he was to the Grand Creator and was about to apologize when he saw the Grand Creator turn around and pointed at him before disappearing. He has thought the Grand Creator was about to slaughter him, as the amount of mana that came from his finger was terrifying. However, it seems he overthought things, as the mana seeped gently into his body, causing drastic changes to his body. His magnificent form shrank and became smaller and smaller, while his power increase and broke through his innate limit and reach the level of True God. If he didn''t realize this was a blessing and not a curse, he would be lower than a human. Because he knew, his eyes were filled with tears, as he was truly grateful for this boon. Many people only saw the Beast Lords as beings of immense power, but was that the truth? It was, however, the limit a beast could reach was a Beast Lord, as they would never become a Beast Emperor, a True God. It was also because of this reason that none of them, the Beast Lords, choose to create a divine faith because at most all it could do was increase their level temporarily. Slaughter came back to himself and notice even though he was a True God, he didn''t have a divine authority, only an increase in his various attributes, which was probably nature''s way of separating beast from humanoids. Even though he had no divine authority he felt he could fight and defeat any True God with ease. His vision became dark as even as he became a True God, his body was still becoming smaller which force him into a deep sleep. As he was asleep, from the giant dog''s body, a small naked dogman emerges with two fluffy dogs ears and a bushy tail, which made it look cute. * Lain and Gaia arrived above the ocean, watching as strong winds cause huge waves. They didn''t speak as there was no point, a romantic outing should be spent in silence and in the company of your other half. Peace and quiet is a soothing melody that can wash away the sadness and sins of one''s past. Floating above the ocean, Lain looks down at it with his golden eyes, staring deeply into its depths. As he moves his gaze around trying to find any creatures, he frowned as he couldn''t find a single fish! It couldn''t be that the ocean was lifeless could it?! Gaia notices his gaze and knew what was going through his mind, she contemplated if she should say something before deciding to. " Husband, you might not realize this but the world is underpopulated making it rare to see many of any given thing. The oceans are too big, so while there were more creatures in it than on land, it was only relative to its comparison. I would have solved this problem, as the Goddess of Life, Nature, and the World, as this was my duty, however, my divine authority cannot create life, unlike what the mortals believe, so the oceans and land remain underpopulated." To Lain, it made sense, as he didn''t have so much time to create billions of NPCs for Earth, so he could understand sparseness of life. However while he understood that, he became confused once more. This was the third time this has happened; the first was when he learned the Floor Guardian Assistant Function was installed without his knowledge, the second time was when he learned a new term called Divine Faith, and now was this thing called Divine Authority. While he knows what the first one was, the others were just a blur in his mind. Divine Faith he once speculated existed because of his title of Supreme God, which made sense since he saw the temples and churches all around, however it seems he might be wrong. He looks at Gaia and wonders if he could trust her; considering their feelings for one another, he chose to trust her, as he wouldn''t lose anything if she did betray him, other than her and their love. "Gaia explain divine faith and divine authority for me." Gaia seem surprised but still compiled.(Divine Faith and Divine Authority were already explained many times, I don''t feel like explaining it again.) They flew across the ocean, taking in the views. They saw a huge turtle floating on the surface of the ocean, they saw the sea dragons and few other sea creatures. They saw and discovered many things, including a barren continent. In their moment of adventure, they even discovered a barren continent which had one sole flower on it, a beautiful woman that Lain notice look like Gaia, except for having blond hair instead of the blue one and having no horns. Gaia explained that she was one of her priestesses. After observing her for a while, they learned of her purpose, so Gaia took out a tree branch type wand from her inventory and wave it, casting a tenth tier spell call, [Fertile Earth], which is not an attack spell, but a support spell that has no real effect in Yggdrasil. Since Yggdrasil was a game that allows almost complete freedom of occupations, there were many useless spells that were created. This spell made the earth more healthy and able to grow many rare plants that could be used for Alchemist potions or rearing animals. The imagination is the limit. Waving her wand, a green beam of light wash over a large patch of land before disappearing. Seeing this, Gaia nodded and said, "Although I can''t terraform the entire continent without my divine authority over nature, this is good too. With this, she will be able to slowly change the continent, creating the fourth liable continent of Earth." Lain nodded as they left the continent, which will later be called Nature Continent. After knowing everything and learning that level one hundred beings called gods, Lain oddly became more open and easy around Gaia, which seem to put her at ease. Because of the knowledge she gave him, he changes a rule to allow teleportation as long as one knew the spell and reaches Saint-level(80), they can also world travel to any world other than Golden Nation, only DemiGods and above can go there. The changes could be felt immediately across the World Tree and people took the opportunity to leave their worlds, before the rule change again. Continuing their ocean adventure, they discovered an ocean city below the ocean, which was only found because he changed the rule of teleportation. Seeing how well designed the city was and plus with the fact that there were no sea gods, Lain turn Malakai into the God of the Oceans, whose divine authority was the inhabitants of the ocean. However, because Lain was in a whimsical mood, he made it so no one other than Gaia and him knew there was an Ocean God, even the God himself. Gaia had seen the entire process of how a DemiGod became a True God from a whim of her husbands, and was wondering if he could turn anyone into a True God? If he could, that mean they actually had a chance against THAT world. However, she became disappointed when she learns that a person must already be on the crisp of becoming a god for him to promote them. Of course, that was a lie but no one needs to know that. He could indeed turn someone into a god if he wanted, however, if the person was not able to withstand his mana, they would die, so only a strong person could become a God. Lain did notice even though he could create as many gods as he wanted, he seems to become weaker every time, it was a vague feeling but he felt it, so he decides unless it was necessary he won''t make any more gods. The two left behind the ocean and blend into the Alliance Continent, taking in the brittleness of this place. They had seen demihumans fighting each other, in the middle of the streets of one of the clan cities. No one cared as they went on their business. They didn''t stop the fight either because the demihumans here all went and left the haven which was the Human Continent for this place. Although he came to accept the fact he was the Grand Creator, he wouldn''t stoop as low as forcing people to do as he wishes. While on the continent, they visited the twelve great clans, seeing how powerful they were compared to the demihumans of nonhumans in smaller clans. They seem power-hungry and less united though as compared to the smaller clans. Of the twelve great clans, Lain like the Fox Clan and the Troll Clan, these clans seem to be brimming with potential, especially the Fox Clan. If the Fox Clan went and visited the other worlds, many DemiGods would be born for it, who knows maybe Gods as well. The Troll Clan seem to be concealing itself, as it was waiting for a moment to unleash its brilliance to the world. As they were visiting all these clans, the moment he looks at the Mallya Clan, he had the urge to slaughter them, making him wondering why? It seems it was not just him, even Gaia was uncomfortable as she looked at them. They didn''t know the reason for this so they left as the longer they stay the more they want to kill them. They then visited the Human Continent which was extremely refreshing for Lain, as no one was killing each other or any of the things he saw on the Alliance Continent. People were living their lives and getting by, making the city they saw look prosperous. The streets were packed with people of all status and race, they all came socialize breaking the barrier of Demihumans being hated by humanoids and Hetermorphs being attacked by both groups. It made him happy to see that, which made him cry a little. It seems true peace only emerges when no one is looking at one''s body but at their nature and soul. We are all different, which makes us who we are, just because someone is different doesn''t mean you should treat them less than how you would want to be treated because to them, you are also different. TO BE CONTINUE ? . 13 Preparation for an invasion "Now, it''s time to begin, the harvest of worlds!" A decisive voice thundered through the void, proclaiming its verdict. The voice was determined and cold as if nothing can halt its expedition! Thereafter finishing his date with Gaia, Lain returned alone his world, the Golden Nation, beginning the foundation of his scheme. It had taken him a few months but the plan was almost completed. His plan was simple and direct, but it needed to be formulated in a thoughtful manner. No matter how great one''s force was, if it was not utilized in an efficient manner, it would fall. An army of any kind is only as strong as its weakest link. A true strong army could have hundreds of weak individuals, but if the strong can complement that aspect then army becomes strongest!! As a result of his determination to not fail his family and especially himself, Lain decided to go to his room, as he would have more privacy. The throne might be indestructible but it wasn''t safe from intruders. Lain was sitting at the end of the bed, a huge bed, wearing black sweatpants with his feet submerged in water. The reason for all of this was because Lain''s room was a small ocean world that had fish that look like miniature dragons swimming freely in it. Because he was only wearing black sweatpants, the rest of his body was exposed, showing off his well-toned and built body. At the edge of the ocean world, four white pillars stood as if to support this room. Between the pillars was a white void that seems to lead to nowhere and everywhere. Inside this room, Lain was completely safe from anything, because this room was the White Void, a place that is separate from the World Tree, even if someone conquers the tree, they couldn''t conquer this place as it was as special as a Transcendent Class Item while not being one. The White Void was something he spent many years of real-time working on, which was also one of the reasons he didn''t adventure throughout the World Tree. The reason an item is called Transcendent is because it totally surpasses World-Class items in the fact it has three special abilities. The first abilities is its name and state of the room, White Void, which separates it from all things, nothing can affect it. The second is Rapture Void, which connects two places to the White Void, and have total authority on what to do. The last is also the most important, and the reason he created the White Void in the first place, Wish Void.(An: yes I''m going down the isakai route, maybe at the end of the book?) Wish Void allows the owner of White Void to grant almost any wish. If the wish exceeds the scope of the Wish Void, a trade must be initiated to accomplish the wish. The main reason he created the World Void was that he was influenced by the old era relics, isekai light novels and since he had an opportunity to create a small dream of his, why not? Lain had already decided on a couple of things he wanted for his invasion. Firstly, he decided to draft the people of the Divine Continent into his army, which he hopes will consist of elites. His decision was not made rashly, as he did his research upon what they wanted; which is what he learned. They felt insignificant and unworthy of living in the Supreme Emperors home without doing anything to show their gratitude. Since he was aware of their feelings, he was calm as he made his decision, even if many will die because of it. Leave the sharpest blade in one place long enough and it will collect dust. A force that doesn''t regularly train was only a ragtag group of people. Those profound words made him harden his heart and send them to hopefully not so gruesome death. Many will die to make the remainder to become elites; this is something he can but will not change. If you call me the Supreme God, you should expect me to create a Supreme Army as well. The beings of Divine Continent were naturally stronger than the main force of other worlds because of their high levels, which had to do with the fact, they were living inside the Supreme Emperor''s world. Although there might only be a few Divine Clansmen, each of them could kill a hundred Imperial Earths Soldiers, without a single sweat, which is saying something as the million-strong soldiers of Earth, were at the very least Heros. Because he wanted a diverse army, he sent word of the Supreme God creating a legend army called ''conquest'', which is to have a million-strong at all times throughout the World Tree causing waves. This army will only listen to him and no one else. This army will also be given a rare opportunity to reside on the Divine Continent, a place of the ''mortal'' world closer to God. Although Lain had the mindset that even a weak person could become a core piece inside an army, currently he only desires power, and that''s all he needed. Having a maximum of a million strong soldiers is good since he could always replace the weaker ones with new blood, which will cause a positive competitive spirit to emerge in the army. The thing that made Lain take so many months to cement his plan was because of who to bring with him, amongst his family.(AN: it should be obvious at this point the True World Gods are only his family members who are gods, everyone else is a True God or a powerful True God equal to a True World God, it''s a class of its own.) This was harder than it looks and involved the entire World Tree. He didn''t want to make a mistake and leave his home undefended so he had to be careful, while is why he only brought a few of his family members leaving behind all the other True Gods as the protectors of worlds. In the end, he chose Yama, Raul, and Riana, as they had more impact on war than the others. In a battlefield having someone like Raul was a must because he was a Battle God, whose power was unrivalled by those of the same level. In tight places with a lot of enemies, a warrior like Raul''s value surpassed that of a mage of the same level. Unfortunately, Lain didn''t add Raul because he wanted him to advance In battle but to protect Yama and Riana, as they were the main focus of the army. Yama is an army by himself, as the more he kills the stronger his unlimited amount of undead becomes, as they gain more numbers. He was truly a God of Death. Yama had the role of a second in command, after him. Lain wanted Yama or someone, to have control over the army in case he couldn''t be there to give orders. He chose Yama because he was the smartest of his children, and even him by a bit. Raina''s value was actually greater than that of her brothers since she could use holy and divine magic, which has a big impact on a army. She could heal and cast buffs that even he couldn''t cast making her a very important part of ''Conquest''. With her around, his million-strong army would equal to a least three times their number, because it would be harder for the soldiers to die. As soon as they were on the brink of death, they would be healed, gaining a second life. As for why he didn''t consider Lucifer and Gaia, it was because of many things that many wouldn''t notice. After Lain learned about the ''divine authorities'' he made it that he knew all of the current divine authorities, so he knows the pros and doesn''t of all of them. He knew Lucifer was a ticking time bomb that could go off and cause a massive amounts of deaths on their sides. The more evil or prideful people he was around, the more uncontrollable he becomes even though he was supposed to be the prince of pride, the ultimate evil. Gaia was an even more obvious problem, if someone knew Lain when he was back home. Gaia was the personification of nature meaning other than her vast amount of nature-related skills, she possesses enough power to be called nature''s wrath, when she becomes angry, making her surpass level 100, ah no, True World God level to an unknown height. Of course, having a strong allie was a good thing, however, when the allie cannot control their power, it becomes a curse. And to top it off, the thing he set as Gaia trigger was the death of many lifeforms. She wouldn''t care if one killed a thousand people but if it reaches the stage of genocide, she would destroy you to protect her ''children.'' Still, he could still bring her as he could subdue her with a single strand of his hair, he just didn''t have time to think about dealing with such a problem when he so much to think about. After that was the final segment, equipping the army with powerful weapons from Treasure Hall a vast treasury that contained many things from money to weapons, the amount was vast beyond belief. He wanted to equip his children with World Class Items, however, he only has one, a weak one, call Odin''s Forgiveness. This is a World-Class item he won after killing a Frost Lord in their world. Apparently Odin had given them forgiveness after they attack Asgard, but because of numerous occurrence of them spitting in Odin''s face, Odin Forgiveness was born. It can trap someone inside a dimension that had no limits. For them to leave they must repent or find one of the three exist that move randomly. Ironically, Odin Forgiveness upon birth took the form of a rectangular moon that has influence on Frost type creatures. If they fall into Odin Forgiveness they will have their power lower by ten percent, and the similar trap prisoners attack them to gain a temporary taste of freedom. Because of the lack of World Class Items, Lain had only one choice, equipping his family and army with the next best thing, Divine Class Items. He only has a few pieces of Divine Class Items, but that wasn''t a problem since he was a Divine Craftsmen and he has many materials to work with. Lain got dress and teleported towards the Treasure Hall. After solving the teleportation rule, he was easily able to teleport, however, he could sense that the Void Serpent was upset but endure since Lain had made his decision. Since the Void Serpent was angry, Laun decided that the worlds he conquered in the future will have stronger rules, only allowing DemiGods and above to travel. However by that time, the DemiGods will be force to ascend, so them having the ability to teleport was useless. This was because Lain was not sure he will earn the loyalty of the conquered, so he will only removed the teleportation rule after millions of years, when the ones who were aware that they were conquered died off. While he thought about those things, Lain didn''t care if rebellions emerge in the World Tree as he has his family to govern their worlds. If an outside world after being conquered rebel, he will kill every single one of them, before rebuilding the world from the ground up!! Lain knew he had started to change to become a war hardened and severe person who did not value lives, because his race is the Chaos Titan the lord of all things. He must stand at the top no matter what, even if he had to kill off many races to do so. The change was slight but not noticable, he didn''t care as his family will still be his family when the change is completed. All that would change was his acceptance of himself as the Supreme God of everything. Maybe he will use his rule creator to change it, making it disappeared, however Lain decided he can not be half of something, when he could be more. Lain approach the Treasure Hall as an aura of supreme excellent radiated off him, making the place behind him twist and vanish before appearing again. Lain didn''t know of this so he continued on unhindered. * The Divine Continent was the same as usual, bright, even when there wasn''t a sun. The land was under huge pressure that causes many things to be tougher and stronger than their cuisine in different worlds. Today was a regular day for the Divine Clansmen, as they move like soulless puppets, as they do their jobs. They would sign as they look at the skies before shaking their heads, continuing their duties. The children was no exception to this rule, even if they were innocent. At the end of the day, the Divine City was made up of many large creatures that were battle-hardened warriors by birth. So having them do things outside of their field was boring and unmotivating. As if someone had heard their silent prayers, the clouds that were eternally present in the skies, parted, as golden light descended from it, bathing the entire continent golden. All the Divine Clansmen upon bathing in the golden light became calm and respectful as they drop to their knees. When the last Divine Classmen dropped to his knees, a powerful voice that seems to be close but far was heard, even if one was deaf, " I the Supreme God, the Supreme Emperor, whatever you wish to call me, have decided upon created a legion that listens only to me; I''m wishing for the strong will and powerful individuals to fill its ranks. This army will only have a million soldiers, no more no less. For those willing to join, go to the [Gates] that shall open above your world." The powerful voice faded away, causing the golden light to return behind the clouds, and disappeared as the gap in the clouds, faded away. After everything returns to normal, the Divine Classmen stood up, shaking with excitement and eagerness. After all this time, finally, they would awaken their sleeping blood and become the warriors they were destined to be. The Divine City became busy like never before as people were running all around as they get all their equipment and important things ready to depart at any moment. While the kids were jealous of their parents, elders, and guardians, they humbly stay behind with the older members of the city, going and coming back from school as usual. The children didn''t know from their parent''s point of view, they were the seed of their civilization, even if they died in battle, at the very least they knew their children will continue their races. They can die but their race can''t. * Walking in the hallways, Lain stopped before a large black door which was as impressive as the throne room door, but very dark. The black door had many bulges, that made it seem something inside was trying to escape, by punching through the doors. Of course, the door only looks like that because of Lain''s ideas and thoughts on how to plant a seed of doubt and suspension in the hearts of the invaders of this place. Lain places his hands on the door, pouring a large amount of strength in it, as he pushed the door open. It might seem easy but it wasn''t, a full party had to work together to open the door, as it requires a massive amount of strength to open. As the door creaked opened, a creepy creaking could be heard, sending a shiver down anyone''s spine. From the opened door, massive amount of black smoke came from it, making the temperature drop and light to disappears as if one had arrived in the cold void darkness. Lain was calm since nothing less than a Transcendent Class Item couldn''t hurt him, however, while magic could, they must reach at least Super Tier level. He found this quite weird since his strength couldn''t be stopped by even a World-Class Item, which was more powerful than a Super Tier spell, but Super Tier spells could injure him? Lain walked into the totally pitch black room, calmly as ever, as he could see everything like it was day. As he walked into the room, he was greeted by the guard of the Treasure Hall door, a woman wearing a black robe that partially covers a partI her face. In the woman''s had was a brush that shone with even darker light than the room, as even his eyes couldn''t pierce through it. Lain knew who this big breasted woman was since he had created her to protect a pathway towards the Treasure Hall. Her name is Ainise, a max level vampire NPC, who was like a typical vampire. For example, while a regular vampire was dead or undead, she was a living being, but had all the powers of a vampire, making her unique. Since Lain had seen the Ainise, obviously she saw him as well, so she dropped to her knees, bowing her head at the same time, "I, Ainise, the Goddess of Darkness and Night, am honored by your presence my Lord." As she spoke, she subconsciously push her breast out, causing them to jiggle a little. Lain raised an eyebrow at the display, as he breast has even surpass that of Gaia. He really had the urge to grab and fondle them, however, he was the Supreme God, not a pervert this he replied, "You did a good job Anise, later i shall reward you but now I need to finish some business, so I must go." Lain walk past Ainise calmly as he approached the second and last gate before truly entering the Treasure Hall, however before that, he stops and returns to the still kneeling Anise side. He kneels in front of her and looks deeply into her eyes, seeing desire, fear, and worry before a faint hint of anticipation emerges, before disappearing from her red eyes. The reason he had stopped was that his body forced him to, his body desire this woman, thus he obeyed and leaned in to kiss her on the lips, making her quiver like a cat in heat. She was hesitant at first but she started to respond and wrap her hands around his neck as the sound of tongue smacking against each other was heard. Lain broke their kiss with some reluctance, because seeing the rosy cheeks of Anise, and lust in her eyes. Lain fondly her chin before, tracing her jawline, which was sharp and pointed before whispering into her ears, making her breath hard "You belong to me from now on, however, since this was rush a bit, I will give you some time to adjust to being my woman. From now on, you are free to leave this place." Lain said as he stood up, walking a bit, before pushing open the Treasure Halls door, which was goldenopen. From behind the door, golden light was emitting, blinding Lain for a moment. TO BE CONTINUE ? THE END OF VOLUME 1: WORLD TREE BEGINNING OF VOLUME 2: ONE TRUE GOD
