《THE COSMIC GOD》 1 Kane Grishna A tall sturdy youth stood at the entrance of a mine. He smiled bitterly to the sound of countless spontaneous clanking of pickaxes and mining tools. "Who would''ve thought that I, the never before seen genius, would fall to such depths. It is indeed a short way up and a long way down." He mused. Indeed his situation was quite unfathomable and unfortunate. He was after all the incredible young master Kane Grishna, the great protege. At first he was just a little insignificant orphan from one of the branch families. But when he started cultivating at the age of five, his speed was shocking. Not only did he possessgreat cultivation speed, he was also a very calm and all knowing child. His insight, comprehension, attitude and sage-like air, made him famous throughout the state. By the age of seven, the incredible kane had advanced to the fifth dimension of the Unshackling Potential realm. By age nine he had broken through the shackles of mortals and stepped into the Astral soul realm. By the age of ten he had mastered a Deathsycth weapon skill and perfected it. By the time he was fifteen years old, he had reached the ninth dimension of the Astral soul realm! Numerous powers extended honey coated olive branches to him. He had been engaged to the beautiful young miss of the Mackelvy clan. Despite previously being a orphan of the a branch family, Kane''s seat as the clan head was inevitable. Sadly, his great rise came to an abrupt and unfortunate end. When he finally rushed to break into the Spirit Awakening realm, something unforeseen happened. It turned out that his spirit roots were unexpected destroyed, without spirit roots he''d be unable to communicate with, and form a bond between a spirit. That was all it took for the genius fall. After all without a spirit there was no further way to advance. The opportunities and promises all faded away. The numerous powers and sects, that were trying to get close to him retracted their invitations. The many clans who wanted to marry off their daughters to him, stealthy retreated. His place as the young master was also taken, after all, who would let a now insignificant branch member, with unchangeable cultivation sit in the head''s seat? What caused him the most pain was his dissolved engagement with little miss McKelvey. They were childhood friends and as the got older, they truly loved each other. The several dozen letters she had secretly sent him, despite his fall. He had offended and outshined many spoiled youngsters of various clans in the state. Not to mention the young Masters and misses of the main family, especially the family head''s eldest son who had lost his birth right to inherit the clan head seat to him. These youths may jeer and become cold towards him as their cultivation surpasses his. They might even seek to harm or kill him. So in order to let him live out his life peacefully and contently, the clan head gave him a hundred thousand gold orbs and ushered him out. Three years had passed since then, he was now eighteen. He had moved back to the family''s branch for a short while before leaving on his own. Even though he was treated with great respect and veneration there since he the great genius had brought them a few years of fame. He still had never given up on cultivating. After leaving the branch, he went searching for ancient artifacts or unique cultivation techniques. Sadly he had never been fortunate with any of his expeditions. In fact he had lost quite a bit of gold orbs, he was even robbed and only survived through his ironic wit. He had been stumbling through village after village, town after town and city after city. Until he was lead to prefectural city named Cloud mist city. He was then lead to mining site where he signed up to work. This mining job was very dangerous and hard even for him, a cultivator. It also paid little only a couple black copper orbs per week. You''d be lucky to get a single silver a month if you completed your daily quota everyday. But that was almost impossible as finding something within the damn mine was becoming harder and harder. But how could he leave when he was lead to this place by his most trusted companion that had been with him for basically as long as he remembered? This said companion was a little purple orb that was a little bit larger than a marble. This little orb was not just any normal piece of jewelry. It was a divine treasure! That''s right the whole reason for his brilliance and cultivation speed, memory, comprehension and a achievements were all due to this purple orb! Whenever he would cultivate or try to learn something, once he had the orb, he would have terrifying inhuman speed! It was as if the orb enhanced his mind and made him closer and more intuned with spirit energy. But there was a draw back to this orb. For some reason when he was about to break through to the Spirit Awakening realm his spirit roots were broken by weird energy released from the orb! Also it turned out that the energy had also blocked his insight towards people and the outside world! After all a real genius would know that all those who were friendly towards him when he was at his peak, were all just posers trying to cling to a big thigh, but when hard life struck and the fat thigh tinned from malnutrition they would seek greener pastures. At first he had been resentful towards the orb and thus he had put it away. But when things got sticky he turned to it again. Who would have thought that it actually began subtly guiding him as if it was sentient!? And now here he was following his trusty purple orb. But the question is just what is it leading him to.... 2 Seven Divine Treasure Formation Kane wiped away the sweat hanging on his forehead. His bloody crimson hair was sticking uncomfortably to his neck. His similar blood coloured eyes glanced at the other miners that were all looking at him. "what?" He asked. Numerous weeks had passed since Kane had been working as a miner and his muscles have been kept toned and refined, they were brimming with spirit energy. As a cultivator who had long since passed the Unshackling Potential realm, his normal physical strength was more than a hundred kg! So with each swing of his axe he had to actually hold back a bit in order not to break the tool. "Kane you should be a powerful cultivator right?" A burly middle-aged man asked. "Mn, I''m at the ninth dimension of the Astral soul realm." kane replied. "Wow I wish I didn''t waste my time as a kid. I''d probably be further than the second dimension of the Unshackling Potential realm." Another miner said regretfully while rousing a string of nods from the other miners. The workers in these mines were mostly low level cultivators or commoners who had little chance at cultivation. They all turned back to their work after lamenting on their fates. Most of them wondered if kane was such a high class cultivator, why was he working here? Seeming to read their minds, kane smiled slightly and went back to work. Soon the tunnel was once again filled with grunts, clings, clangs and the occasional spark caused by the friction between tools and stone. Suddenly a miner howled as glowing green liquid splashed on him. Instantly melting his skin.Shocked, the others turned to see a giant two meter long green centipede spring out of the tunnel wall and began scurrying towards them with horrifying speed. "It''s a emerald centipede!" The miners all dropped their tools and ran away. All except kane. His body glowed as he sprang towards a miner who was about to bitten by the large monster. BANG! kane kicked the beast away from the frightened miner, who quickly scrambled away. The centipede gurgled as it spat the green acid at him. Fate guard! Activating a defensive spirit skill, Kane''s body was covered in a white halo. The wicked liquid splashed on him, but it quickly ran off. With spirit energy surging around him, kane shot towards the centipede with his glimmering pickaxe in hand. Puchi! A sickening sound was produced when Kane''s pickaxe embedded itself within the creature''s nasty head. Sighing kane let go of the mining tool and animal. "Thank heavens it was a low level spirit beast!" Kane looked around to see that the tunnel was completely empty. He had prepared to leave when his pocket started glowing a soft purple light. "Hrm!" kane exclaimed in surprise. He felt a mental tug from the purple orb, urging him towards the hole which the centipede popped up from. His eyes gleamed with joy as he sprang over to hole and looked through it. Inside the hole were six orbs that were just as small as the purple orb inside his pocket. Each orb was emitted various colours. There was a violet one, a azure blue one, a green one, a red one, a baby blue one, and finally a brown one. They floated and circled each other slowly. He could easily feel the strong attraction between the purple orb and the others. Quickly grabbing a discarded pickaxe, kane began digging into the side of the tunnel with gusto. The bigger the hole became brighter the orbs became. Soon the hole had become quite big. Kane dropped the pickaxe and stepped in. The purple orb within his pocket flew out and joined the other orbs. Like a group of excited kids, the orbs began circling each other gleefully. After a few moments of this, the orbs came to a stand still. The orbs then began shining with a brilliant godly radiance. A stifling aura bellowed out from them. Those sevenorbs lit up like seven stars. Suddenly the star-like orbs flew over to him and embedded themselves into his body. "Hrghn!" He could only grunt painfully before his pupils dilated. A explosion went off inside his consciousness. With that explosion came a ancient holy voice: At the very formation of the universe the gods Indra, Ushas, and Ratri were formed. The cosmic God Emperor Indra, married the two celestial goddesses Ushas and Ratri. Ushas the goddess of Primal insight gave birth the goddess of love Aditi and the god of willpower. Ratri the goddess oftruth birthed saranyu the goddess of pleasure and Raku the fearless god. When the era of the gods came to an end Indra, Ushas, Ratri and their children sealed the last of their divine powers into their most precious treasures and cast them out separately. If these divine treasures were ever to meet a legendary phenomenon would occur: The Seven Divine treasure formation! When the voice finished it''s narration, kane found himself within his dantian. He had the look of pure shock and awe on his face. His dantian that was once looked like a little world was no more. Now his dantian resembled the night sky. It was filled with uncountable twinkling stars. The most shocking thing within his dantian was a huge humanoid figure sitting in the lotus position with the orbs revolving around his head. The figure''s body looked transparent. It had a misty look as if it was just an illusion. Looking up at the ten meter tall giant, kane suddenly realized that transparent giant looked just like him! The figure was hazy and transparent but he could easily recognize that the figure was him. He could also feel a sense of familiarity with it, further confirming his thoughts. As he gazed up at the figure the voice sounded again: There are seven chakras within the human body, as mortals all chakras are tightly sealed shut and there are no ways for them to be opened. Only the gods or the master of their divine treasures could open this lock. The method in which to unlock these Chakras is known as: [Universal Ode of the cosmos]. 3 Universal Ode of the cosmos Earth chakra Feeling water splash on his face kane sat up with wide eyes. Looking around, he saw the worried faces of the miners he was working with. Seeing kane come to, the miners sighed with relief. "Kid, your incredible! You really killed that rank one spirit creature by yourself. you even came out in one piece!" A miner heavily patted Kane''s shoulder. "Hehe, kid since the centipede incident happened we were all given the day off and a few silver orbs! Let me treat you today at the tavern. We''ll have to drown in ale. Gahahaha!" A old man with a strong build laughed. "Yeah man, we''ll all treat you!" Another said. Occurrences like spirit beast attacks were very usual. It wouldn''t be an exaggeration to say that when a spirit beast attack''s inside the tunnel all the miners within would be killed. A person would be extremely lucky of they escaped with a lost limb or two. But only one of them died in this attack, so they were very thankful and happy for surviving. They definitely felt like drinking themselves drunk to the point where they couldn''t tell which direction was up. Kane released a shakey breath, "Heheh, guys I''m a bit shaken from the fight. I think it''s best if I sleep it off." "Yeah, I''ll help you home. You save my life last time. It''s the least I can do!" Said the miner who kane saved from being bitten. "Alright, let''s go." kane smiled. _____________ The two chatted as they both entered Cloud mist city. "I really gotta thank you kane, I''d have gotten bitten to bits. If that happened my wife would have been widowed. I''m a a very jealous man so my ghost would never rest once I start thinking of her remarrying after my death." "It''s fine, I just helped out a bit, Garth." Kane smiled. When Kane reached the door ofhis shabby rented room, Garth patted his shoulder and said, "My wife''s cooking a hefty parcel of oxtail for Sunday dinner. You should come over." "Yeah will do." Kane said as he opened his door and rudely shut it in Garth''s face. Garth rubbed his chin as he wondered why kane was so eager to get home. "Hmm, he must''ve needed to go to the bathroom really bad." ____________ Stumbling into his room, kane jumped into his bed and started meditating. With the Universal Ode of the cosmos he could cultivate and grasp the power of the gods. Even though he''d have to start from scratch, he didn''t complain. After all, there was no way to become a true God through cultivation. There was rumours of the legendary divine realms, but there was no way anyone could truly achieve the way of gods. None except him, not only would get possess the powers of a god, he possess seven of them! Not to mention he also have the god''s divine treasures! Just who in this universe could stop him! Just who had more potential! The answer is simple, NONE! The technique stated that the first Chakra to unlock was the Chakra of Earth. The fearless god, Raku governed the laws of Earth. His name as the fearless god was just a title. He was actually Raku the Sesmic God. His powers over the element of Earth was unparalleled in his time. His greatest feat was when he fought and killed a Darknamor, a divine entity that every god feared, a brute that could devour the gods whole! After slaying the Draknamor, Raku was given the title Fearless god. He then made the Inpregnable Sesmic armor from the Draknamor''s hide. In order to open his first Chakra, he''d need to gain a high attunement with the element of Earth. To do that he''d have to concoct a liquid using various Earth attributed materials. Afterwards he''d then have to submerge himself within it and have a earthly baptism of sorts. The wisp of godly energy within the Sesmic teasure would aid him in absorbing the Earth attributed natural essence, the lowest for of divine power. He soon became apprehensive and anxious. He knew that in order to buy the materials needed to create the liquid he''d need a few gold orbs and currently he only had a few black copper orbs which are the lowest form of currency. He frantically thought up ways to get a few gold orbs. His lowly mining job that only pays a couple black copper orbs a day depending on his discoveries wasn''t a option. After a few hours of thinking, he finally jumped from his bed and raised the mattrass. Laying on wooden planks of his bed was his most precious possession. The Black iron Deathsycthe. Dark Omega sickle! This was his trademark weapon. He had trained with it and fought with it when he was seen as a genius. He had used it to master the retribution sickle skill. Now it was but a antique of the his glory days. He picked up the five foot black sycthe, gently. His eyes radiated loving warmth as he looked at the weapon. He had already out grown it. It was a head shorter than him and it reached his chest. He sighed in sadness. "I''ll have to pawn it!" "But don''t worry I''ll buy you back as soon as I have enough orbs!" He looked at the sycthe The next day Kane strode through the city with his sycthe strapped to his back. He had wrapped it in cloth and was heading to a rundown pawn shop located on a poverty stricken district. Entering the shop he saw sleeping old man with a pot belly and a wondering customer who was browsing the selves. Kane walked up to the shopkeeper and knocked on the counter which the man was sleeping on. The man jerked his head up to look at him. With a ugly frown the man asked in a flat tone, "What?" Kane who was also in a bad mood unwrapped the dark omega sickle and placed it on the counter. "I want to pawn this." He said. Sitting up the old man looked at the sycthe with scrutiny. Muttering under his breath and lifting it to feel it''s weight. "Two hundred gold orbs." He said regarding kane. Even though he felt his sycthe was worth much more, kane nodded and accepted the money, pray I''d be enough to purchase the materials. He then left the shop and began head towards an apothecary shop. Leaving the district, kane felt as if he was being followed. After looking around for some time he saw a man wantonly staring at him. Kane recognized him from the pawn shop. If he remembered correctly this man''s aura was that if the seventh dimension of the Astral soul realm. "Hmm. Lusting after my money huh. I don''t mind setting you straight!" Kane thought as he stepped into a secluded corridor. kane grinned as the man followed him. "Hehe, punk hand over those gold orbs. A useless mortal like you doesn''t need it!" The man grinned and licked his lips. The aura of the Astral soul realm blasting out from him diffusing into the surrounding area. Arching his brow, Kane wondered, "Mortal? Is something wrong with this guy?" Seeing Kane''s amused expression the man''s face twisted in anger. Without a word the man sprang towards kane with a nasty looking knife. Seeing the man charging at him Kane''s eyes grew cold. He kicked at the man with full force. Bone rattling kick! Kane''s foot collided with the man''s temple. The man''s face smashed into the wall, he fell to the ground with his eyes turning to the back of his head. Kane''s eye''s widened in shock. Just now when he activated the skill he realized that he didn''t have a wisp of spirit energy, and his meridians were completely dry! But somehow he managed to produce the same force as if he still possessed spirit energy. "How?" He thought. But remembering this was not the place for this, kane stole the man''s knife and left the corridor. He mind was in shambles as he once again marched towards the apothecary shop. 4 Preparations Kane sat on his bed in a meditative position. Currently his consciousness was inside his dantian. For the past few hours he had been trying to find the cause if his situation. What he had discovered was that his dantian was fully transformed by the seven treasures. His spirit energy had most likely been permanently fused to his fleshy body and the entire realm within his dantian was remolded or destroyed. Technically, he wasn''t a cultivator any longer. He possessed the strength of a practitioner if the Astral soul realm, but truly, he didn''t even have a realm! His blood coloured eyes gleamed as he looked at the materials he gathered from the apothecary shop. These materials weren''t all the ingredients needed to unlock his chakra. The main components needed weren''t in stock so the apothecary had ordered some from the another branch the next city over. So sadly poor kane had no choice but to obediently wait for the goods to arrive. He wasn''t going to idle though, he planned on finding a place secluded place outside the city to concoct the liquid. Kane left the city soon after and made his way through the dense forest. His destination: The abandoned mines. These mines were further away from the city when compared to the current ones that are still being mined. Not only were they secluded, they probably had the highest amount of nature energy presently. With these thoughts him mind, Kane marched through the surrounding vegetation. After going a few miles out kane saw signs of the mines before him. Before entering one of the dark tunnels Kane lit a torch. Using his photographic memory which was gifted to him by Ushas''s divine treasure which was the purple orb, kane made a mental note of his surroundings. After taking countless twists and turns while avoiding the blindspirit beasts inside, Kane entered a small cave, deciding that he was far enough. He dropped the huge pack containing the materials and started preparing the cave. He first lit up the cave with torches, then he began digging a pit with his mining tools. He stopped digging when he had reached a depth of four feet. After cleaning out the dirt and rubble from the cave, kane looked proudly at his work. "Tommorow I''ll seal the hole''s bottom." Kane thought as he packed up. He made it back just in time before the city gates close for the night. _______________ Bright and early the next morning kane got his pack together as he planned to make another trip to the abandoned mines. He almost finished when a knock sounded at his door. Arching a brow, kane went over to the door and opened it. He was shocked at the sight he seen behind the door. Standing outside his door was a fairy-like girl. She had soft and delicate facial features, her skin was so clear it made one think that of they looked closely enough, they''d be able to see through her. Her lips were small and have a feminine pink colour. Her hair had a the whiteness of freshly fallen snow. Her body, no doubt just as delicate was covered by a large coat. But all in all, she was beautiful. "Will you not invite me in?" She asked. Her cold blue eyes regarded him with great contempt. "Uh, I don''t know you." Kane answered, his voice thick with confusion. After he said this her facial expression seemed normal, but kane could feel the icy rage that sprung from her body, it was as if a bitter snowstorm was raging. The coolness pricked at his skin forcing him backwards. Closing the door, she regarded Kane''s shivering form with disdain and disgust. "I come to inform you that Young miss Skyla won''t have anything to do with you from this day forth." The girl''s cold voice had a certain bitter bit as she said this. Kane''s eyebrow frowned deeply. "And just how do you know that?" He asked as his blood coloured eyes flashed while rage was slowly flowing into his heart. She turned her chin up a few inches higher so that she could look down at him. "Miss McKelvey has been accepted into the The Three god sect. She is also a potential leader Moon God due to her Purple moon spirit. Kane''s eyes widened, "Three God sect!? She truly got accepted?" A smile started to creep on his lips. He was truly happy for her, at a sect one could easily be able to develop and grow into a fuller cultivator. Especially if the sect is a Spirit sect. There were two types of sects in the world. Spirit Sects and Martial Sects. Spirit sects such as the Three God sect only accept practitioners with similar spirits, such as the moon spirit or the sun spirit or star spirit. This way one could learn incantations that correspond with his spirit. While Martial sects such as the Poison sect or Cloud soaring sect are sects which have their own unique incantations. So the practitioners thet didn''t necessarily need to have similar spirits. "Moon God? Heheh, her future will definitely be bright!" He said excitedly. "And that is why she will not have any affiliation with you. You and her are of different worlds now, so you, a lowly mortal shouldn''t forget that. yo-" "Is this all you came to say?" Kane asked, cutting her sentence off. The cold girl removed a bag from her coat and threw it at his feet. "I''ll be giving you this bag of golden orbs to forget her." The girl said turning to the door. But before she could leave the bag if orbs slid over a knocked on the back of her foot. "I don''t want your money! Take it when you leave!" Kane said firmly. "You!" Turning back to look at him the girl''s eyes finally showed a hint of anger. The temperature within the room dropped quickly. An icy force slammed into kane making him stumble. The Spirit condensation realm! She''s two realms higher than his previous cultivation. The icy girl regarded him for a second before leaving. Kane swallowed the blood that had gushed into his mouth. "Heh. I will repay you for your rudeness one day."Kane gripped his chest in attempt to calm his madly beating heart. "Skyla, oh skyla I won''t let them separate us! One day, I''ll come for you!" His eyes flash resolutely. ______________ Walking through the mining tunnels Kane carried a huge barrel of water on his back."Dropping it he unlocked the lid and poured out the liquid contents into the hole he made. "Haha, now I just need the stone golem heart!" It had been a day since the cold lady incident but his injuries had all but healed. It seems he really had the perks of a cultivator despite not having a realm, or spirit energy. 5 Unlocking the Earth chakra Kane sat around a stone table with Garth and his wife, enjoying the food. "Kane are you good? We haven''t seen you after the spirit beast attack." "Yeah I''m fine, I''ve been making preparations to go into secluded cultivation." Kane answered truthfully. As he looked at the couple before him. Garth was a twenty-five, he had large meaty calloused hands and a stocky build. While his wife was small and mousey. Her looks were very ordinary, but she had a lovely wifely aura around her. "Oh, Kane I heard that the Black Raven mercenary guild is looking for powerful cultivators, you should try to join." Candice, Garth''s wife suggested. "Actually, I''m not that powerful, it''s just that my cultivation is greater than some yours so it may seem that way." Kane laughed. "True but compared to commoners like us your too shocking!" Candice smiled. "Oh yeah, since your at the Astral soul realm, can you explain a thing or two about the Unshackling Potential realm to me. I''m stuck at the sixth dimension and I can''t advance!" Garth pleaded. Kane thought deeply for a while before speaking. "As you know, the Unshackling Potential realm. Allows humans to Unshackle the the bonds mortality. In this realm, a practitioner uses external exercises and stances to absorb and control the spirit energy of the world." "Since your in the sixth dimension, that means that your muscles, bones, marrow, blood, veins and arteries are already stronger than any ordinary man''s, now you need to strengthen your tendons and your meridian system. By then you''ll be able to absorb, control, circulate and manipulate the energy within yourself and guide it to your dantian and truly form your inner realm entering the stage of the Astral soul realm." Hearing this, Garth seemed enlightened. "Hahaha! No wonder your so powerful! Many, many thanks! Haha I''ll be able to go further!" "But the true problem lies in the Cultivation technique you study." Kane said knowing that the techniques studied by the commoners were useless. "Tell you what, when I return from seclusion, I''ll give you a top ranked skill I found." Kane added. "Really! For free! Thanks! You know kane your a really good person and I owe you my life! How''ll I ever repay you!" "Just enter the Astral soul realm and I''ll feel content." Kane smiled, he really had a good impression of Garth. He had taught kane the basics of mining when he first arrived. Also he was quite friendly and honest. "Haha let me toast to you!" Garth said raising his cup of water. "Dear your getting ahead of yourself again. How can someone toast using mere water?" Garth''s wife chimed in. "A toast can be used with any drink, once it''s sincere!" Garth grinned. "I agree! kane raised his cup as well and knock it with Garth''s. ________________ Deep within the abandoned mines, in a well lit room, was a four feet deep hole in the ground. This hole was filled with water, at the bottom of the hole were numerous Earth attributed materials. Kane stood over the pool with a frown stretching on his face. He was very confused if this would work. He was never told how to create a earthly baptism, in fact the voice had told him to find a place of extreme Earth. But he wasn''t sure what that was so he improvised. Looking at the gems and earth attributed materials at the bottom of the pool, he felt hesitant, there was no reaction of the materials whatsoever. A long sigh escaped his lips as he decided to try anyway. After all there was no threat to his life. Kane stripped and slowly entered the pool. Just as his back came in contact with the Earth attributed materials in the pool. The usually hard materials that needed high temperatures to melt, did just that. They diffused into the water and turned it into a brown muddy colour. The water began bubbling and sizzling as if it was set over a raging flame. Kane, the catalyst to this lost consciousness the very moment he was completely submerged in the water. His Astral soul projection was somehow formed inside his dantian. Meanwhile within his dantian, the brown orb glowed with divine golden radiance. It stopped it''s revolution around Kane''s ten meter avatar and sunk into his Astral soul projection''s chest. Instantly Kane was taken for a long journey through the world of earthen power. He saw how the planet formed, how it''s plates converged, diverted and transformed. His saw the millions of animals and plants rise and fall. He saw how the very particles of the planet within each and every living organism. Kane saw countless deserts, cliffs, mountains and volcanoes. He traveled through the ground past the crust, into the mantle and finally the core. He watched as the sand got corroded at some beaches, but also how other beaches were growing in size. He saw how mountains sprouted from the underground, and even how islands were created from lava. He, saw how the fields allowed for seeds to grow, he saw the herbivores devour the plants those seeds sprouted and how those carnivores devoured them, he watched as those carnivores died and their decomposed bodies becoming one with the planet. Becoming the nutrition for new seeds. And finally he saw the countless practitioners that tried to live forever using cultivation, he saw how the Earth was dyed in the blood of their enemies as they treaded their paths, but no matter how long they lived they had one day died and got buried. He understood that to live one needed the earth, and the earth was everywhere, one couldn''t escape returning to it. The Earth was the beginning and the end. It was the womb and the tomb. Kane was introduced to the profound truths of Earth. He watched the birth of the planet and everything that happened to it. It was as if he had grew alongside it. The base of all life! Unknowingly a brown lake glittering with golden radiance formed within the base of his avatar''s spine due to the natrual essence of the Earth attributed materials within the pool entering every pore of his body. His avatar began growing and changing, it''s body began glowing with a gloden earthly radiance! The Earth Chakra no mortal had ever opened was finally unlocked! 6 Unlocked chakra Kane''s body was currently undergoing a earthly baptism within the bubbling mud-coloured water. The Earth attributed natural essence which was the worldly power of the planet, a power no living mortal was capable of comprehending, yet alone absorbing, was soaking through Kane''s skin, into his muscles, veins, arteries, organs and bones. The energy was slowly transforming his mortal body. The natural essence spilled into his meridian channels. Some of his spirit roots were bathed in the earthly essence. These spirit roots grew and thickened, they became turgid and sturdy, they began emitting a brown radiance. Within his dantian the brown orb continued glowing, his avatar and the brown lake inside it continued growing..... Kane''s consciousness that was still fully locked within the world of Earth, suddenly awakened. Kane''s soul, consciousness, and mind were now leagues away from their previous states. His Astral soul, that had scattered when Raku''s orb had invaded had already reformed. Kane looked at the fifty meter giant that was his avatar. He couldn''t believe how it had grown to such heights. It was covered in a earthly golden radiance that made it look divine and simply unfathomable. Kane''s astral soul flew over to it. At the base of the avatar''s spine was a brown lake that was approximately five meters wide. It was covered in glittering golden radiance. Gently floating above the lake was the Fearless god''s orb. Kane''s astral soul flew inside the avatar''s body without any resistance. He stood on the surface of the brown earth essence but no ripples were made. The orb flashed once before a thin golden stream shot out and entered Kane''s head. His eyes widened with shock as he comprehended the information within the stream. He was gifted with three skills The first was called [Earthly Tremor], this skill allowed for kane to infuse his natural essence into the ground below and cause earthquakes to appear. The second skill was [Earthen] Spike. This ability created an entire forest of three-meter tall syringe sharp spikes. When using this attack, many would undoubtedly be injured or dead. [Petrification] was the third and last skill, it was divided into two parts. The first enabled him to inject the Earth attributed natural essence into any physical matter, this would turn any material into brittle stone. The other part gave him the ability to harden any material to an extreme degree. He gasped, were these skills divine skills?! Could the Sesmic armour be giving him Raku''s skills!? He was extremely excited! He spent a unknown amount of time studying the earth chakra and the Sesmic armour. He then dissolved his Astra soul and left his dantian. He opened his eyes in the darkness and realized he was still submerged in the pool so he slowly sat up, as his body rose from the concoction, the brown muddy droplets stuck together and roll down his body and rejoined the pool. The liquid was extremely weird. It felt like water but it wasn''t wet. Not even a drop of the brown liquid stuck to him. Kane''s crimson eyes flashed as he looked down at the liquid he sat in. He could ''feel'' the thick Earth natural essence within the pool. This feeling was similar to feeling he would have when he took baths in spirit liquid back when he was a young master. Previously he could ''feel'' or sense spirit energy within the environment, he lost this sense a few days ago when the Divine treasures had destroyed his realm. He slowly stood up and left the pool. Each of his steps were firm, steady and quiet. He couldn''t explain it but he felt extremely close to the ground under his feet. He felt a certain intimacy and appreciation. Suddenly a thought popped into his head, "What would the Sesmic armor look like?" Without doing anything the earthly essence within his avatar began to boil and sizzle. The floating orb above the essence lake began absorbing the Earth essence. Immediately a brown liquid and started to cover his whole body. In the blink of an eye, Kane''s whole body, together with his hair, was all wrapped up. The streamlined brown armor was full of power and impact, and covered his whole body as if it were a suit of gothic Medieval armor instilled with improved aerodynamics¡ªit looked just like a piece of art. The whole suit of armor felt full of power and speed, making kane look slender and majestic, as if his whole body were full of explosive power. With shining metallic luster, the armor was gorgeous and had a solid texture. Aside from a few gaps in the joints where different pieces overlapped, there were no weaknesses he could find within it. He moved around in the armor and there was no feeling of heaviness or clumsiness. Instead he felt that his body had become a little lighter and full of energy. "So this is the Sesmic god armor." Kane said looking down at his armor covered hands. A safe and refreshing feeling filled him. After a few minutes, kane felt his Earthly essence depleting and with a thought it vanished in a flash of golden light. He then sat down and formed his astral soul. This time his astral soul appeared a the very edges of his dantian world. His eyes scanned the thousands of silent meridian channels. After a couple minutes of searching he found them. His spirit roots, these were special meridian channels that humans used to connect with the mystical world where spirits resided. When he had tried to activate them after reaching the bottleneck in the Astral soul realm, kane who was using Ushas''s divine treasure- the purple orb, saw his brimming and vital spirit roots began to wither and shrivel up. At that time he felt that mysterious and wonderful connection he was having, had been cut off. But ever since he had been baptized by the essences of the Earth, kane felt a similar connection, but this connection was far more mysterious and vast.
