 1 1 The Adorable Monster Lurks In The Dungeon

    Dungeons had always been a thing even since ancient times. They''ve always existed and always will. Since the dungeons walls give birth to the monsters every time their slaughtered.


    Our story starts off with three adventures a female mage, a male rouge, and a male knight as they head into the dungeon that had been discovered recently. These three adventures had been into quite a few dungeons and as they headed into the dungeon they had already prepared for. They looked at each other as they nodded as the knight lit a torch and led the way. They continued to kill a seemingly endless amount of monsters they continued to go through the dungeon as they killed goblins, ghouls, demons, and many other different kinds of monsters. As they continued through the dungeon they found a small almost dog like creature with small horns on its head as it hopped around the dungeon as if it didn''t have a care in the world. The mage walked over to it as she picked it up and asked "What is an adorable guy like you doing in a dungeon." The small creature sat their as she held him as the rouge walked over and pulled out a dagger as he said "Careful it could be dangerous." The knight walked over as he said "It is our duty to slay all the monsters in the dungeon." The mage stared at him as she said "Then why don''t we keep him?" The rouge looked at the knight as he said "Don''t worry I''ll kill it." The creature that the mage was holding jumped out of her hands and walked away. As they followed it the mage looked at the knight and rouge as she said "I''m not gonna let neither of you hurt it." They looked at her as they said "We''re doing what needs to be done." As they followed the creature through the dungeon they continued to slaughter more and more monsters. As they found a room with a treasure chest in it. As they walked in they noticed that the creature was sitting on top of the chest. The mage ran over to it as she picked it up and said "I''m still not letting you hurt it." They both stared at her as they said "We''ll deal with that thing when we get out of the dungeon." The rouge walked up to the chest as he said "The knights right we have more important things to do right now, like find out what''s inside this chest." The creature hopped out of her arms once again as it waited near the door. As the rouge opened the chest he turned to look at the others as he said "We didn''t get anything." The knight looked at the rouge as he yelled "Watch out its a mimic." The rouge turned around quickly as he seen the chest''s tongue and teeth as he screamed. The mage quickly casted a fire ball spell as the mimic burnt to death. They turned to leave as they seen the small cute creature sitting by the door. As the mage went to pick it up the rouge quickly stabbed it as he said "Like the knight said we can''t keep a monster." As the rouge stabbed it the monsters in the dungeon began panic as they began to run towards the exit. The adventures looked around and then back at the creature as it started to regenerate from the stab wound. The creature stood up in front of them as it barked and began to charge up a fierce lightning attack. The mage looked at the creature as she started to create a magical barrier. The knight watched as the small creature began to create a magical energy sphere in front of it as he yelled "This small creature is gonna kill us all." The creature barked as the giant sphere of energy bolted towards them as they all screamed. The mage looked at them as she yelled "I can''t keep this barrier up for much longer." The mage continued to hold the barrier up as she heard a cracking sound. She stared at the creature as she said "Its breaking the mana barrier." The rouge and knight stared at each other as they said "It was an honor adventuring with you." As the barrier dropped the lightning attack quickly turned them all to ash. As the creature''s attack stopped it began to walk around the dungeon. The creature walked up to a demon as the demon said "If only they knew how dangerous this little creature really was." The demon bent down and picked it up as he said "The dungeon is safe and it''s all thanks to this small dog like monster with horns." The demon set it back down as he said "The world should be thankful that their aren''t a lot of monsters like you." The demon began to walk off as he said "If their were more of you the world would be in even more chaos then it already is." The creature began to follow the demon as it barked. The demon continued to walk as he said "Bark all you want just make sure you don''t accidentally fire an electrical bolt at me." The demon continued to walk as he said "Why don''t you come with me to great the fresh faces?" The creature continued to bark as the demon said "I''ll take that as a yes." The demon walked further into the dungeon as he stopped at a door and said "The new monsters should''ve already been birthed by the dungeon." The demon opened the door as he said "I doubt their will be anything close to your level but their still worth greeting if their gonna help protect the dungeon." As the creature and demon walked into the room a slime began to deep out of the roof as the demon said "Right on time their starting to appear now." The creature began to hop around the room as it barked at the creatures who were coming out of the walls. The demon walked around the room as he said "Very nice group we have here." The demon stared at them all as he said "We got a few slimes, some new demons, and a basilisk." The creature walked up to the giant snake as it hissed. The demon stared at it as he said "I wouldn''t mess with that basilisk if I were you." The small creature continued to walk towards the basilisk as it got closer and closer. The basilisk quickly slithered away from the creature as the demon said "So you can sense the immense power too?" The demon left the room as he said "Alright everyone follow me and I''ll assign you to your posts." The small creature continued to walk towards the basilisk as it quickly slithered out of the room. The small creature continued to wander around as it jumped into a slime. The slime began to devour it as the demon walked up to it and said "So a slime is stronger then that creature?" The creature began to regenerate quicker then the slime could devour it as the demon said "I guess I was wrong." The creature began to create another energy sphere as the demon looked at the slime and ran out of the room as he said "Your on your own." The demon shut the door as he heard a loud boom and seen dust fly out from under the door. The demon opened the door as he seen the small creature sitting their as he said "Now the other creatures know what their dealing with." The demon began to walk further into the dungeon as he said "I better go inform the boss that the adventures have been dealt with and that the new batch of monsters are already done." The demon turned around as he seen the small creature following him as he asked "Do you wanna see the boss too?" The demon walked over to it as he picked it up and said "We''ll go inform him that you beat the adventures and killed one of our newly birthed monsters." The demon continued to walk as he said "He probably doesn''t even know about you since you didn''t seem worth noticing." The demon continued to walk as he said "Master only notices the strong but I''m sure he''ll notice you after we inform him about what you''ve done." As they walked into the room their was a female who walked by as she said "He''s waiting for you." The demon looked at the creature as he said "She''s a shapeshifter don''t let her fool you." The creature barked as they walked into the room as the demon set him down outside of the door as he said "Its time for you to meet the boss." The creature continued to bark as the demon said "If you fire off one of those electric bolts off in here he''ll kill us both."

 2 2 The Boss Monster

    As the demon opened the door the small creature ran into the room as it began to bark. As they entered the room their sat a dragon as it sat idle in the center of the room as it said in a loud booming voice "Enter my chamber." The demon looked at the small creature as he said "We should hurry before he gets impatient." The small creature began to run towards the massive dragon as it barked. The demon walked up to the dragon as it asked "I''ve been feeling a strong presence since the other day have you figured out what it is?" The demon stared at the dragon as he said "That small creature their is the source of the strong power that you''ve been feeling." The dragon stared at it as he shouted "Do you take me for a fool?" The demon looked at him as he said "I know you are no fool but that really is the source of that strong power you''ve been feeling." The dragon raised one of its claws as it stomped onto the small creature. The demon began walking away as the dragon called out "Explain to me why I killed it and I still feel the power." The demon began to run as he said "Your about to find out." The dragon stood up as he began to walk towards the demon as he said in a booming voice "You have lied to me so you shall die." The demon looked behind him as he jumped onto the ground as he yelled "Look out boss." As the dragon turned around it was greeted by a giant ball of fire as it hit the dragons wing. The dragon stared at the small creature as he said "You dare to defy me?" The small creature sat down as the dragon began to walk over to it as the demon said "I told you he was the source of the power." The dragon looked at him as he said "Do not get smart with me or I will still kill you." The demon bowed as he walked out of the room while saying "Yes my lord I''ll leave you to deal with that creature." The demon left as he said "Whoever wins will either be the new boss or continue being the boss." As the creature sat their the dragon began to breath fire. As the fire melted the flesh off of the creature it continued to sit their as it regenerated. The dragon stared at the creature as he yelled "Are you only good for one attack?" The creature stared at the dragon as it barked once more turning the air into a frigid wind. The dragon raised one of its claws as he sliced the creature into three and then continued to breath fire at it. As the creature stood back up the dragon stared at it as he yelled "Why won''t you die?" The creature barked once more as a giant frozen beam started to charge in front of it. The dragon stared at the creature as he yelled "We will see what is stronger my fire or your ice!" As they fired off the ice and fire it collided as the beams met the room began to fill with fog as the dragon said "You think blinding me will matter I can still smell you." The small creature barked some more as the dragon continued to breathe fire. As the barking stopped the dragon waved his wings as he blew the fog away. The dragon quickly scanned the room as he seen no sign of the small creature. The dragon began to walk back towards the middle of the room as heard more barking. The dragon turned back around as he seen the small creature charging up another attack. The dragon turned around as it raised a claw and slapped the creature away. As the creatures attack went off it hit the roof as chunks of the ceiling came crashing down. As the creature stood back up it faces the dragon as it began to run and jump towards the dragon. As it got closer the dragon yelled "Enough!" The creature stopped moving as it sat down in front of the dragon as it barked some more. The dragon lowered its head as it said "Either you serve me or we fight to the death." The creature continued to bark as the dragon said "If you won''t serve me you shall die." The dragon quickly ate the creature as he said "If you thought my fire was potent my stomach acid is ten times worse." As the dragon ate him the demon walked back in as he asked "My lord is everything all right?" The dragon stared at him as he said "Everything is fine, make preparations to infiltrate the city." The demon turned around and walked away as he said "Yes my lord of course right away." As the demon began to walk away the dragon laid down as he said "That small creature was especially troublesome." As the demon turned around he asked "My lord should I have the shapeshifter go?" The dragon looked at him as he said "Yes and make sure she knows what she''s looking for." The demon bowed as the dragon suddenly exploded. The demon looked up in shock as he asked "Am I still suppose to make preparations?" The demon smirked as he said "I have a wonderful idea, how about I become the brains of this operation." The small creature barked as the demon said "I''ll take that as a yes." The demon looked at the creature as he picked him up and said "How would you like to be on the infiltration team?" The creature barked as the demon said "No one would suspect something so cute to actually be a monster let alone a super strong monster and mix that up with a shapeshifter and you have the ultimate infiltration team." The demon began to walk out of the room as he said "Now all we have to do is find out where that shapeshifter went." The demon looked at the creature as he said "As our new lord I should tell you I''m your right hand man, your second in command, and above all else the best of the best." The creature just barked as the demon said "It might be better if she just holds onto you whenever you two leave to infiltrate the kingdom." The demon set him down as he said "If you will please follow me my lord." The creature continued to follow the demon as it barked. The demon turned around and picked it back up as he said "If I carry you we''ll get their faster." The demon looked around as he said "She might have changed into a different creature." The demon looked at the creature as he said "I''ll just leave you in the meeting room." The demon opened a door and then set the creature down as he left and said "I''ll be back when I find her." The creature walked away from the door and began to hop around the room as it went from wall to wall looking for a way out." As it hopped onto a chair the one across from it began to morph into a human. As it took the form of a women it said "I suppose the meeting is about to start?" The creature barked at her as she said "Who let the you in here?" She walked over to the creature as she picked it up and asked "What is a poor adorable creature like you doing in such a horrible place like this?" As she said this demon walked in as he said "I found you and you appear to have already found your partner in the infiltration." She looked at him as she asked "What partner?" He smirked as he pointed to the creature as he said "What your holding is actually our new lord." She looked at him as she held him up and said "This little thing is our new lord?" The demon smiled as he said "The last lord ate I''m and he blew him up from the inside." She set the creature down as she bowed and said "My apologizes my lord." The creature stared at her it barked. The demon looked at her as he said "Alright now then onto business. He looked at her as he said "We''ll be looking for certain types of information." She looked at him as she asked "What kind of information are we looking for?" He looked at her as he said "This creature or in other words our lord will be your back up if things get bad." She nodded as he said "The information we''re looking for is how many adventures they got and if the hero had left town or not." He stared at her as he said "Be very careful not to draw attention to yourself and we should be fine." She looked at him as she asked "Is that all?" He nodded as he said "That''s all for now but be sure to find out anything else that seems like it may be of some importance." She nodded as she picked up the creature and said "It is an honor to serve you my lord." The creature barked as she said "Me and the lord will be back shortly." As they walked away the demon looked at them as he said "I will await for you and the lords safe arrival." She turned to look at him as she said "I assure you the lord will arrive safely." He looked at her as he said "I''m not too worried about the lord."

 3 3 Infiltration Mission

    As the shapeshifter and the adorable creature left the dungeon she held him up as she said "Don''t tell that demon this but I think your the cutest monster ever." As they arrived at the kingdom she set it down as she said "Wait here and I''ll be right back." She began to walk away and into a tavern as the creature followed her in. She sat down and started to talk to the man behind the counter. As the creature walked around the tavern three men watched it as it wandered around and walked up to the shapeshifter as it began to bark. The man behind the counter looked at her as he asked "Is that your dog?" She stared at him as she picked it up and said "Yes it is." The man looked at her as he said "We allow pets you just gotta keep an eye on them." She stared at the man as she said "Thank you for telling me I didn''t know." She stood up and walked out of the tavern as she set it down and said "You can''t follow me into these other building you have to wait outside my lord." The creature looked at her as she walked away and into another building." As she left the creature began to wander around the city. As it wandered around the city it came across a man with a full suit of armor and a massive sword. The creature ran up to the man as it began to bark. The man turned to look at the creature as he picked it up and said "Hey their little guy are you lost?" The creature began to bark as the man said "Why don''t you stick with me while we find your owner." The man set it down as he asked "Do you know how to follow?" The creature walked up to the man as he said "Good then you can follow me around town as we search for your owner." The creature began to bark some more as it followed the man. The man began to lead the creature into a building as he said "If we''re gonna find your owner the guild is probably our best bet." The creature barked some more as it followed the man into the building. As the creature entered the building all of the people inside hid behind things and under the tables. The man looked at them as he asked "What are you all doing?" They stared at him as they asked "Is that strong presence coming from you?" He looked at them as he flexes his arm and said "Oh so you noticed?" He stared at them as he said "But seriously why are you all hiding?" They stared at him as they said "The great wizard of the Thirtieth guild said that their was a very strong presence and that it was about to enter the building and so we all panicked." The man flexed some more as he said "I knew I was strong but I never knew I was that strong." The men stared at him as they said "The great wizard said that the power is one that can rival a demon lord." The man stared at them as he said "Before I forget I found this little guy outside wandering around and I''m pretty sure he lost track of his owner." They all stared at it as they asked "Does that dog have horns?" The man stared at them as he said "Its probably just some strange birth defect." The man stared at them as he asked "So where is the great wizard?" They looked at him as one of them said "He left and said that he didn''t want any part of whatever was approaching." Another one said "Boy is he gonna be surprised when he finds out it was just you." The man looked at him as he said "What''s so surprising about my overwhelming strength?" The men stared at him as they said "You''ve never even been to a dungeon." The man stared at them as he said "Never mind my strength we gotta find this dogs owner." The dog began to bark as the men asked "So what do you want us to do?" He stared at them as he said "I need you to go around and ask if anyone is missing or have lost an animal." The people stared at him as a few of them volunteered to help. The man picked the creature up as he said "I''m gonna walk around while holding you so if anyone sees you they''ll be able to notice you right away." As they walked around town the creature seen the shapeshifter lady as he began to bark. The man looked at him as he asked "Do you see your owner?" The man set the creature down as it ran up to the shapeshifter and began to bark repeatedly. She turned around and picked him up as she said "My lord I''ve been searching for you." The man walked up to her as he asked "Is this dog yours?" She stared at him as she said "Yes, thank you so much for finding him." The man looked at her as he said "No problem, I''m happy to help someone in need." She walked away from the man as she stared at the creature and said "My lord please don''t run away it''s very difficult to find you." As she walked around the city she bumped into a man and dropped the creature. As the creature stood back up it began to bark at the man. The man stood up as he said "The powerful presence is coming from you?" The shapeshifter stood up as she picked it up and whispered "That''s the grand wizard we can''t let him know that we''re monsters." The grand wizard stared at them as he asked "Tell me Miss are you aware that the creature you are currently holding has the power of a demon lord." She turned to look at him as she said "I don''t know what your talking about this is but a simple pet." The grand wizard walked up to her as he asked "May I hold your dog?" The creature began to bark as she said "It doesn''t seem like he likes you very much." The wizard stared at the creature as he asked "Will you put the dog down?" She stared at the creature as she set it down. The creature began to walk up to the wizard as he said "That''s right come to me." Once the creature was near his feet he stared at it and casted a fire spell. The shapeshifter screamed as she said "What are you doing?" He stared at her as he said "I''m either making a big mistake or saving this city." The creature sat their as its flesh melted away and then regenerated. The wizard stared at her as he said "I knew it was a monster with strength like it''s it couldn''t have been human." The creature stared at the wizard as it began to bark. The grand wizard stared at the dog as a giant ball of energy began to form in front of it. The wizard began to cast a barrier as the energy formed. The shapeshifter began to run and hide as she said "My lord this missions success depends on you." As the creature fired the attack at the wizard yelled "Because you are a monster I have no choice but to slay you." The creatures attack began to blast as the wizards barrier began to sustain massive amounts of damage. Once the attack stopped the wizard turned around as he seen that everything behind him was in ruins as it blasted all the way through the city''s wall. The wizard stared at him as he said "If I let you survive you''ll take much more lives then that." The wizard stared at it as he yelled "You are no dog." The creature began to bark some more as the wizard began to fire off more and more attacks as each one pieced through its body. The wizard yelled "I''ll have to kill you before you get the chance to attack again or more lives will be ended." As the wizard stopped firing the creature began to bark as another ball of energy bigger then the last began to form in front of it as the wizard said "I was to late, I wasn''t able to stop you." The wizard stared at him as he said "No, it''s not to late I can still stop you." The wizard casted another barrier and then started to charge up an attack of pure mana as he yelled "I have gone against the strongest people in the world and if this doesn''t kill you then you truly are the strongest being in existence as of now." The creature continued to bark as the ball of energy grew larger and larger. The grand wizard yelled "I''m going to put all my mana into this so that you will die." The creatures energy ball continued to get bigger as the grand wizard fired his attack. The creature stood their as it regenerated and after the grand wizards attack stopped the creature began to fire off its attack. The grand wizard fell to his knees as he said "You truly are a force to be reckoned with." As the attack made contact with the barrier the grand wizard said "May we meet in the next life so I can finally put an end to you." Moments after the grand wizard said this his barrier shattered as he began to be incinerated until their was nothing left of him. As the wizard died the creature began to take a new form a more humanoid form. As the towns people stared and watched in horror as the creature stood their now as a man with two horns and wings and goat legs as the people ran and screamed "It''s a demon lord!" As he turned around he looked at his hand and said "I finally killed that wizard who trapped me inside of that animals body." He stood their naked as he looked at the shapeshifter who cowered behind a broken building. He walked towards her as he snapped and clothes appeared on him as he said "You are a loyal servant to me so I will not harm you if you continue to serve me." She stared at him as she bowed and said "I will continue to serve my lord." He smiles as he said "Good you and that other demon shall serve as my servants." He snapped his fingers once more as they appeared in front of the dungeon. He stuck his hand out as he began to make the entire dungeon lift out of the ground. As he snapped again all of the monsters inside were teleported out and the entire dungeon was turned into a castle. He stared at them as he said "You will all serve me or you will all die by my hands." They all stared at him as they said "Welcome back my lord." He walked into the castle as he said "Good you remember my presence." As he walked in to the castle he walked into the throne room and sat down as he said "We have a new goal for our dungeon, and that goal is world domination."
