 1 Chapter 1

    In a village located on dawn island, you can currently see two boys. One who''s trying to get the other to come down from the roof of a house while the other seems like he''s about to heal something out.


    Sage: \"Oi Luffy come down would you.and don''t say what I know your gonna say cause Gramps is coming.\" Luffy: \"I AM GONNA BE THE P¨ªRATE KING!!!\" Sage: \"Baka don''t say I didn''t warn you.\"


    Luffy: \"What do you mean Sage\"(Looks at his older brother with a look of confusion on his face). Sage: (Starts to sweat a bit on his back) \"Cause gramps is right behind you.\" Luffy: (Freezes up and starts to turn his head to look behind himself slowly)


    Garps: \"You are supposed to watch you brother.\" Sage: \"I know and I''ve told him, but he doesn''t listen gramps. I try to hit him but whenever I do it doesn''t hurt him like when you hit him, so I can''t do anything. It ain''t my fault.\" Luffy: \"Itai\"(it hurts)itai(it hurts)


    Garp: (hits Luffy again) Sage: ''Grandpa always says that he can hit Luffy because he loves him, but whenever I try it doesn''t work, is it because I don''t love him enough? But am his brother and I love him a lot(not in that kind of way you pervs) I''ll ask him about it later.''


    Garp: \"Come on you brats let''s go see Makino.\"


    [To the bar]


    Sage: (Sits down on a empty stool)\"Hey Makino-neechan.\" Makino: \"Hey Sage, how are you doing.\" Sage: \"Gramps hit me in the head because Luffy won''t shut up about wanting to become a pirate.\" Makino: (giggles at Sage pouting)\"Okay Sage, but don''t you want to become a pirate as well.\" Sage: \"Yeah, but Luffy could at least keep his mouth shut when gramps comes around, but no it seems he likes to get hit be gramps fist of love.\"


    Luffy: (Luffy sits down on the stool that Shanks usually sits on) \"No I dont.\" Sage: \"Uh-huh then then why do you keep saying your gonna be the pirate king at loud whenever gramps is around you Baka , at least don''t be so loud about it like me.\"


    Makino: (Giggles) \"Okay Garp thats enough you know you shouldn''t be hitting them it''s not going to do anything.\" Garp: \"Maybe if I hit them harder, they will get it through their thick skulls that they will be marines, not pirates.\"


    Makino: \"Either way Garp you shouldn''t be hitting them, they are just children. Here you Sage Luffy have so some juice\"( Gives then both a cup of orange juice) Sage: \"Thx Makino-neechan.\" Luffy: \"No, I want what Shanks is always drinking.\"


    Luffy: (shocked)\"What no I want to stay with Makino-neechan.\" Makino: (sigh) \"Your going to leave them up there with the bandits.\" Garp: \"Yup, so let''s go brats.\" Sage: \"Fine(whispers) stupid geezer. Bye Makino-neechan I''ll come visit later when I got time okay.\" Makino: \"Alright then bye Sage.\" Luffy: (crying, snot coming out his nose) \" I don''t want to leave, I want to stay with Makino-neechan.\"


    Garp: \"Come on you brat let''s go\"(hits him in the head). Luffy:(Still crying) \"Okay then you stupid geezer.\" Garp: \"What''d you say you brat want me to hit you again\" Sage: (sigh) '' Sometimes I wonder how me and Luffy are even related sometimes''


    Luffy: \"Fine, bye Makino-neechan, When Sage-niichan comes and visits you I''ll come with him okay.\" Makino: \"Okay then bye Luffy bye Sage goodbye Garp.\" Sage and Luffy: \"Bye Makino-neechan\" (waving at her)


    Garp: \"Goodbye.\"

 2 Chapter 2

    Garp,Sage, and Luffy are currently walking up the mountain to meet Dandan and her family/bandits


    Sage: \"Sooo Gramps who''s this Ace that you talked about on the way up here.\" Garp: \"Huh oh he''s just a kid that a old friend of mine entrusted to me to watch over him. He''s the same age as you Sage.\" Luffy: \"Oh so that means he''s tenbas well.\" Garp: \"Yes, but Sage is older by a few months. \" Sage: \"Oh okay but why isn''t he with his dad shouldn''t he have taken care of him himself.\"


    Garp: (sigh) \"He can''t.\" Luffy: \"Why, he doesn''t love him or what gramps.\" Garp: \"he''s dead.\" Sage and Luffy: (Silence fills the air) \"Oh\"


    [Skip till they arrive]


    Garp knocks on the door. Then hears a mixture of a deep, but feminine voice. Dandan: \"Who the hell is knocking on my door\" (opens the door)


    Garp: (With a smile) \"Yo Dandan.\" Dandan: (Shocked with who she just yelled at) \"Garp what are you doing here.\" Garp: \"I came here to drop off some brats for you to take care of.\"


    Dandan: \"What no way. The brat Ace already brings in enough problems for me as it is\"(Says while shaking her head left to right). Garp: \"Oh then maybe I should turn you in for the crimes you''ve committed.\"


    Dandan: \"Oh where are these fantastic kids I''ll gladly take care of them to the best of my abilities\" ( says with a smile).[Full 180] Garp: \"Here they are these are my grandsons go on introduce yourselves.\"


    Sage and Luffy walk in and begin to look around to see a group of people and a big women. They also notice a boy in the background. Sage: \"Yo, my names Monkey D Sage nice to meet you.\" Luffy: \"Hi, my names Monkey D Luffy and am gonna be the pirate king.\"


    [Lets go to Ace''s point of view shall we[


    ''I notice the door opening to see gramps the one who brought me here and left me with Dandan and her group of bandits. This time tho he brought along two kids. One seems to be an idiot while from the other one gives a dangerous vibe. I don''t know what it is but I''ll try and find out later.''


    ''Right now their introducing themselves. The one that gives me a dangerous vibe, his names Sage while the dumb who just declared he''s gonna be the pirate king while in front of Garp, is names Luffy.''


    ''Don''t know why I did it, but I spat at both of them but to my surprise only one of them get hit the one with a dangerous vibe managed to somehow dodge it while the other I managed to hit straight in the face hehe''( Snickers a bit)


    [Back to Sage] ''I guess that''s Ace. He tried to hit me with his spit when I wasn''t looking, but I managed to dodge it. Luffy on the other hand though got hit in the face. He definitely not happy about it.''


    Luffy: \"Oi who spat that who did it was it you.\" Luffy started looking around trying to find who spat at him while I just see ace snicker a bit and Luffy notices him. When he was about to say something Gramps hits him in the head.


    Luffy: \"Itai what was that for gramps didn''t who see Ace spat at me.\" Garp: \"What did I tell you about saying your gonna be a pirate. I told you that you were gonna be a marine. Now introduce yourself to him.\" Luffy: \"What, but gramps did you see him he spat at me and Sage.\" (Sage walks up to him)


    Sage: \"Oi what was that for.\" ''Not to my surprise he just walks off and leaves'' Luffy: \"Oi comeback and apologize to me and my brother.\" Sage: \"Just Leave him who cares.\" Luffy: \"But he spat at you and me I can''t forget it about it he insulted me.\"


    ''Luffy then runs off to chase after Ace. I look at gramps and he looks at. He gives me a nod and I walk after Luffy to make sure he doesn''t end up hurting himself.''


    ''So far Luffy has gotten himself cuts and bruises all over his body. Ace is leading him through some dangerous spots to get him to stop, but he doesn''t know that Luffy isn''t gonna give up until he gets that apology and most likely until you become his friends.''


    ''He should be fine, I doubt there''s really anything here that could kill him since I''ve only ever seen him get hurt from sharp objects, so as long as he avoids any dangerous beast he should be fine( I say with little confidence since knowing Luffy he''s probably gonna get into trouble)''


    [My point of view]


    Sage stops following Luffy and sits down In meditation. He''s done this ever since he discovered that for some reason whenever he does this he feels more connected to the world. He feels like his senses get enhanced by a bit to the point where he can feel the presence of things like trees or animals.


    So far he can only do this when he''s meditating, but he can tell that every time he finishes a session of mediation that his senses improve by a minuscule amount. He wouldn''t have noticed this if he didn''t dodge a hit from a wild that tried to but him while he was doing one of his sessions.


    After that he noticed what was happening but he had no idea why. He didn''t really care though. Usually he meditates for an hour and then he begins to work out his body. He does push ups, Sit-ups. Squats, using rocks to do weight training and runs.


    So far he''s only been doing this for a year, but his senses and strength have improved by a lot to the point that his strength can easily rival that of a strong beast in the forest.


    [Time Skip 3 months]

 3 Chapter 3

    It''s been three months since Garp has left both Sage and Luffy in the care of Dandan. Luffy has been chasing after Ace ever since they first meet determined to make him become his friend. He ended forgetting about the fact that Ace spat on him when they first meet. He forgot about it because he wanted to be a pirate like Shanks, so he did what Shanks would do in his situation and just forgot about.


    While Luffy has been chasing after Ace for three entire months, Sage has been meditating to improve his senses and then training his body. Every now and then Luffy would join Sage while he''s training, but only the physical part.


    Whenever Sage tried to get Luffy to join him in the meditation part of his training, Luffy would always move around and wouldn''t stay still or concentrate, so he ended up giving up on trying to get him to also meditate.


    When Luffy was first chasing after Ace, Sage was following and he was surprised to see the boy have monstrous strength, but he was still weaker than him by quite a bit. Ace kicked a tree which broke and started to fall and roll after Luffy who was busy screaming and running away from it to not die from getting squashed even though he''s a rubber rubber man.


    After that Sage decided that it was enough and left to begin his daily training


    [ To the real time]


    While Luffy was following Ace, he discovered a new place on the island. Luffy: \"Woah was is this place. Cool i''ll tell Sage-niichan about it when I get back.\"


    With that Luffy when Into Gray Terminal looking for Ace. While there he came across an ugly man. Ugly man: \"Oi get out of my way brat or else i''ll\" (takes out a knife). Random people: \"Oi I think he went this way come on.\" Ugly man: \"Tsk your lucky brat\" ( starts to run away again)


    Luffy then continues to look around for Ace, but it didn''t take long before he managed to catch a glimpse of him re-entering the forest. Luffy: ''There he is.''


    [Lets go to Ace]


    Ace is currently running through the forest until he comes upon a bout with blonde hair. Sabo: \"Oi Ace where have you been your late you know.\" Ace: \"My bad Sabo, I had to lose the annoying brat.\" Sabo: \"I guess he''s getting better huh, but anyways\" (Sabo begins to count and Ace joins in). Ace and Sabo: \"3 2 1.\" ( Both of them show bags that are filled with berri and jewels) Sabo: \"Damn yours is bigger you win, but how''d you get this much.\" Ace: \"hehehe I robbed some thugs that were near the main gate.\"


    Ace: \"Either way it doesn''t matter who wins or who loses. It''s been 5 years since we started our pirate savings and we''ve come a long way since then.\" Sabo: \"Yeah I wonder how much a pirate ships gonna cost.\" Ace: \"I don''t know maybe 10 million or 100 million berri.\"


    Luffy: \"Pirate ship, you guys want to be pirates, am gonna become one too.\" (Ace and Sabo both climb down as fast as they can and hit luffy in the head) Ace and Sabo: \"Be quiet baka.\" (Ace and Sabo then tie him up against a tree) Sabo: \"What do we do with him Ace.\" Ace: \"He found out about our secret... we need to kill him.\" Sabo: \"Yeah lets do it.\"


    Luffy who''s an idiot took a few seconds to process what they just said. Luffy: \"WHAT NO I DON''T WANT TO DIE SAGE SAGE HELP ME PLZ!!!!!\" Ace: \"Oi shut up will you. Sabo kill him hurry up.\" Sabo: \"What why me I don''t know how you kill somebody.\" Ace: \"I don''t know how to either I''ve never killed anybody before.\" Luffy: \"PLZ DON''T THROW ME INTO THE WATER I DON''T WANT TO DIE.\"


    Ace: \"Alright come on let''s throw him into the river.\" Sabo: \"Alright, but why did he tell us that.\" Ace: \"I don''t know he''s an idiot.\" Thug: \"Oi I think I heard a voice over here come on.\" Ace: \"Damn Sabo free and lets hide hurry up\"


    [Lets go to Sage] Sage:''Crap I knew I had a bad feeling today, Is should have followed Luffy to make sure he was okay.'' [Sage was able to hear luffy''s call for help not only because he has finally entered the beginner stage of observation haki, but also because Luffy''s scream was something Sage knew all to well since his grandpa was always hitting Luffy and him in the head] Sage: ''Come on I gotta go faster or else I might not make it in time to help him out.''


    [To Luffy who''s surrounded by thugs and Porchemy member of the Bluejam Pirates Tall white man with long light bluish hair]


    Luffy: \"Oi let me go, Ace help me, Ace.\" Porchemy: \"Oi you brat do you know Ace.\" Ace:''Crap he''s gonna tell them about us and our treasure, I should have been more careful.'' Luffy: \"Huh Ace.\" Porchemy: \"Yeah do you know them or not they stole from us.\" Luffy:( Turns his head away from him starts sweating and pushes his lips into a circular shape) \"I don''t know him.\"


    Ace and Sabo: ''What a terrible liar were doomed'' Porchemy: \"Oh you don''t huh maybe a few hits will help you remember.\" Luffy: \"No stay away or else i''ll tell my big brother.\" Porchemy: \"Yeah and whos your big brother.\"


    Out of nowhere Porchemy wrist gets hit forcing him to drop Luffy and then he''s kicked in the stomach making him back off a little. Sage: \"I am and if you don''t get away from Luffy am gonna kick your asses.\" Luffy: \"SAGE save me these guys want to beat me up.\" Sage: \"Don''t worry Luffy now that am here you''ll be fine.\"


    [Fight scene is gonna be in the next chapter hoped you enjoyed this chapter]

 4 Chapter 4

    Sage: \"Now am only gonna tell you guys this once you either leave right now or am gonna have you beat you to near death, it''s you choice.\" Porchemy: \"You got quite a mouth on for a little brat.\" Sage: \"I am not a little brat am 10 years old (shows him with his all 10 of his fingers wide open) you see\"


    Porchemy: \"Your still a brat and now that you''re here trying to defend your brother means that you know Ace as well don''t you.\" Sage: \"Ace? So what if I do what''s Ace got to do with any of you guys.\" Thug 1: \"That brat stole from money that belongs to the captain Bluejam.\" Porchemy: \"You better talk or else ( Grabs his sword) it won''t end to well for you.\"


    Sage: \"Yeah I know Ace, you think you can make me tell you where he is, well good luck with that I don''t give up my friends that easily, I''ll rather die than do that you bastard, so let''s get this over with.\" Thug 2: \"You brat, you have no idea who your provoking here.\" Sage: \"Yeah, and I don''t really care.\"


    [There''s four thugs not including Porchemy]


    Sage rushes to the closes thug and throws a fist at his chest. Sage sends the thug goes flying into a tree and ends up knocking at the thug on impact. The other thugs and Porchemy have a look of shock and amazement at seeing their ally send flying by the strength of a ten year old kid like Sage. Sage then proceeds to go after Porchemy, since he wants to finish him off next. He knows that he''s the strongest of the group and wants to remove the head of the snake first before destroying the body.


    Porchemy reacts and attempts to hit Sage with his sword by doing a cross slash, but Sage notices what he''s trying to do and dodges the attack. Porchemy then tries again, but this time he mixes in vertical, horzantial, cross slashes. He starts to get frustrated seeing that all his attempts have ended up being fruitless because Sage just keeps on dodging them like he knows that their coming and doges then just before they hit him, leaving Porchemy in a helpless situation.


    Now If Garp were to see Sage right now he would be shocked because he would be able to tell that Sage is currently using observation haki. Even though it is the lowest level of observation haki the beginner level. He would be shocked because he knows for a fact that he has not told Sage about haki much less taught him how to use it, so with this he would be able to tell that Sage is a monster in haki, being able to learn observation haki not only on his own but only when he''s at the age of 10. Imagine if he had an instructor that could teach him how to use haki.


    [Let''s go see what Ace, Sabo, and Luffy think of the fight]


    Sabo: \"Oi Ace are you sure this guys is Luffy''s older brother.\" Ace: \"Yeah they are, but I can''t believe it their so different.\" Sabo: \"I know I don''t think me and you could beat him up even if we teamed up on him.\" Ace: \"Yeah, I know I can see for myself that he''s beating those guys without even trying.\" Sabo: \"Yeah just look at him, he''s dodging all those attacks without even trying how is that even possible.\" Ace: \"I got no clue man.\"


    Luffy is currently tied to a tree watching his brother get attacked by a group of thugs and a pirate, but he wasn''t worried because he knew that Sage wasn''t weak at all. One time when they were in the forest he was getting chased by a tiger that came out of nowhere. He thought that he was gonna die, but then out of nowhere his brother came and hit the tiger right in the face and sent him flying straight into the side of a hill. If Ace and Sabo would have seen this tiger they would have recognized it as the lord tiger, the Strongest beast on dawn island. But he was shocked when he saw his brother dodging all those attacks like it was nothing.


    Luffy: ''Am so gonna make him teach how he''s dodging all those attacks.''


    Together at the same time in their heads, they swore that they would become strong enough to beat Sage, so they wouldn''t be forced to hid or be so helpless in front ever again. Sage though had no clue what was happening right now, but for some reason he felt a bit a sweat start to form on his back like some kind of promotion. In the end though he was to busy focusing on the battle against the pirate.


    For some reason he could feel his senses becoming stronger while in battle against the pirate. His senses were becoming much stronger faster then when he would usually be meditating and he was making full use of it to increase his senses even more. At the beginning he had to focus to be able to dodge Porchemy''s attacks, but as the battle continued to progress he closed his eyes.


    Sabo: \"What the hell why''s he closing his eyes.\" Ace: \"I don''t know, but I get feeling that he didn''t close his eyes because he wants to die.\" Porchemy: ''Did this brat really just close his eyes when facing me'' \"You brat you really are underestimating me, I will make sure you die a painful death for this.\" Luffy: \"NII-CHAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING OPEN YOUR EYES OR YOUR GONNA GET HIT!!!\"


    Luffy screamed at the top of his lungs to get his older brother to open his eyes, but Sage right now didn''t hear any of this, he was focused on using this battle to sharpen his instincts to the best of his ability. Porchemy: \"hehe stupid brat now DIE!!!\" Luffy: \"NII-CHAN!!! \"


    To everyone''s surprise [not really] Sage actually dodged the slash. Everyone: \"NANI!!! \" Sabo: \"What he actually dodged that.\" Ace: \"I knew that there was something different about him.\" Sabo: \"Ace is that really Luffy''s older brother cause I don''t see how''s that possible.\" Ace: \"Yeah that is am sure of it.\"


    [Lets go to Luffy]


    When Luffy saw that his brother hadn''t opened his eyes he started to cry cause he thought that Sage was gonna end up being cut in half but when he saw his brother dodge the attack and then do it again his eyes changed from mosity to stars. Luffy: \"Sugoi/Amazing nii-chan how are you doing that.\" Luffy tried to ask his older brother, but Sage just ignored him since he was kinda preoccupied at the moment.


    [Lets go to Sage''s point of view]


    Sage: ''This fight really ended helping me out, but it seems that am not improving anymore. It''s time to finish these guys off and untie Luffy and talk to Ace about that other guy who''s next to him.'' With that Sage suddenly opens up his eyes dodges Porchemy''s slash one last time before grabbing his right wrist and throwing him over his body right into a tree. It wasn''t enough to knock him out since he stood up pretty fast, but you could see that he good injured from that attack and lost his grip over his sword.


    Sage rushed at him and punched him in the stomach, bringing him to a knee before roundhouse kicking him straight in the face and knocking him out. Sage then rushed off to the other three thugs that were still stunned to believe what just happened in front of them. They just saw a ten year old kid knock out one of their friends in one hit and then he dodged all of Porchemy''s attacks without even trying. Not to mention that he closed his eyes in the middle of his fight against Porchemy.


    It was easy for Sage to knock them out with a single well placed fist to their faces.


    Sage: \"Alright then that''s that. Oi Luffy you okay they didn''t hurt ya to bad did they.\" Luffy: \"No Sage-niichan am fine, but how did you do that.\" Sage: \"What do you mean, do what? \" Luffy: \"You know how did you dodge all those attacks from that big guy you closed your eyes while fighting him, but don''t worry I knew you were going to be fine.\"


    Sage: \"Sure you did\" ( He says with sarcasm in his voice) Luffy: \"What you don''t believe me.\" Sage: No no I believe you don''t worry.\" '' I definitely didn''t hear him yell out NII-CHAN open your eyes but whatever'' Sage: \"Anyways why are you tied up against a tree.\" Luffy: \"Oh I am not sure either, but for some reason Ace tied me up along with that kid with yellow hair.\" when Ace and Sabo heard this they both thought: ''SHIT''


    Sage: \"Oh really alright then, Ace get out here I know your in those bushes and you too whatever your name is.\" (Ace and Sabo come out of the bushes) \"So mind explaining why you guys tied up my kid brother against a tree.\"


    Ace and Sabo explain why they tied up Luffy against a tree. Sage: \"Oh I see understand then. Ace and Sabo: ''Phh I thought he was gonna beat us up'' (Sage then hits them both in the head leaving a bump to come out) Ace: \"Ow what was that for.\" Sage: \"That''s for tying up Luffy and thinking that you can throw him into the river. Anyways you what''s your name.\" Sabo: (Holding his head where Sage hit him) \"My names Sabo.\" Sage:\" Nice to meet you Sabo, my names Monkey D Sage and this is my little brother Monkey D Luffy. Luffy say hi\"


    Luffy: \"Yo\"


    Sage: \"Now that that''s settled tell me why their were pirates coming after you guys. The big guy said that you stole something from them.\" Luffy: \"Oh they stole money from them.\" Sage: \"Oh and why did you guys steal money from pirates are you dumb or something.\" Ace: \"What no were not dumb, say it again and I''ll beat you up.\" Sabo: \"Ace calm down will ya and we didn''t mean to steal from them Ace didn''t know they were pirates when he stole from them.\" Ace: \"Tsk fine.\"


    Luffy: \"Oh they stole that money and added it to their pirate savings.\" Sage: \"OH you guys want to be pirates too.\" Ace and Sabo: \"Yeah.\" Sage: \"Alright then but let''s leave this place I''ll rather not have to beat these guys up again since I already beat them up once.\" Ace: \"Were not going anywhere we gotta move our treasure.\" Sabo: \"Yeah you can go ahead and leave if you want, but we gotta move our treasure first.\" Luffy: \"Am gonna stay and help. \"


    Ace: \"Wait Luffy why didn''t you tell them where the treasure was, if Sage didn''t come in time then they would have tortured you so that you would spill the beans.\" Luffy: \"Beans?\" Sage: \"Information.\" Luffy: \"Oh that''s because I thought that if I told then you wouldn''t want to be my friend.\" Ace: \"Why do you want to be me friend so badly.\" Luffy: \"That''s because aside from my brother I got no one else, I don''t like the bandits or Dandan.\" Ace: \"What about your other family.\"


    Luffy: \"I only have Sage and my grandpa.\" Ace: \"So your pretty much on your own.\" Luffy: \"Yeah I only got Sage-nii chan with me while gramps is usually not here with us.\" Ace: \"Do you want me to live?\" Luffy: \"What of course I do.\" Sage: \"Yeah so do I what type of question is that Ace.\"


    Ace for the first time in his life is happy to be alive and have friends other then Sabo. Sage: \"Alright then since Luffy''s gonna stay then I''ll help you guys move your treasure and then me and Luffy can start to put our money in there as well.\" Luffy: \"Yeah lets do that come on let''s go and move the treasure.\" Sabo: \"Alright let''s go. Ace: Yeah I guess that''s fine.\"


    [Now I don''t remember when the next time Garp comes and visits so am just gonna skip to that point they would have done the normal stuff like go steal in Grey terminal, train together. The only big difference would be that Sage joined Ace Luffy and Sabo in their brotherhood]

 5 Chapter 5

    [Three month time skip again]


    (Clash) Right the now the Sage, Ace, Sabo, and Luffy are currently in the forest sparring against each other. Ace is sparring against Sage while Sabo and Luffy are sparring. So far they have set a rule, where you can only challenge 100 times against each other. So far the score has been in Sage''s favor with him winning every single one. Then there''s Ace who only loses to Sage and sometimes Sabo. After Ace there''s Sabo then theres Luffy who hasn''t won a single one yet.


    Ace: \"Damn how come I can never land a hit on you even when you close your eyes. Can you see threw your eyelids or something.\" Luffy: \"Nii-chan you can see threw you eyelids sugoi/cool , but how do you sleep if you can do that\"( eyes that turned into stars) Sabo: \"Haha we all know what you mean Ace none of us can land a hit on Sage even when we try working together.\" Sage: \"I''ve already told you guys how I can do it, but you guys choose not to believe me.\" Ace: \"Uh-huh, so your telling me that you can dodge attacks with your eyes close because you meditate. I don''t believe you.\"


    Luffy: \"Come on nii-chan tell us, how do you do it plz\" (ask with puppy eyes) Sabo: \"Yeah come on Sage tell us the truth. After all were all brothers, so we can''t have secrets among us.\" Sage: \"I''ve already told you guys, that''s how I was able to do it. Well usually I wouldn''t be able to dodge with my eyes closed, but after I fought Porchemy I felt my senses becoming stronger and I wanted to take full advantage of it, so I closed my eyes like I would when I meditate and from there I felt my senses becoming much stronger.\"


    Sage:( Has his hand on his chin rubbing it like if he has a beard) \"Maybe it''s when I closed my eyes I did feel like my other senses becoming stronger.\" (Light bulb goes off in his head) \"Maybe all you guys have to do is close you eyes.\" Ace: \"Huh why would we close our eyes, if we do that we won''t be able to dodge the attacks sent at us. We''re not like you Sage.\" Sabo: \"Hmmm I think I get what you mean Sage, so your saying that we shouldn''t use our eyes to see the attack, but use our other senses like our hearing and smell right.\" Sage: \"Yeah yeah that''s what I totally what I meant.\" '' Hehe I just thought that if they close their eyes and then try to dodge the attacks that they might get it like that, but the way Sabo said sounds like it''s the right way to go'' Ace: \"Yeah lets do lets try and see if it''ll work.\"


    Sage: \"Yeah let''s try it, but let''s do it tomorrow it''s already time for us to go back.\" Luffy: \"ahhh I want meat.\" Ace: \"Yeah I guess so, let''s go come on you guys let''s go hunt a deer or something.\" Sabo: \"Alright then let''s go.\"


    [ Skip to when they arrive back at the bandits home]


    Dandan: \"Oi you brats where have you be---.\" ( Sage, Ace, Sabo, and Luffy walk in carrying a huge deer that they throw on top of Dandan) Sage: \"That''s tonight''s dinner cook it for us.\" Luffy: \"I can''t wait to eat deer meat\" ( drool coming out of his mouth)


    [Skip to when Garp is about to arrive]


    Sabo: \"When I go sailing the first thing am gonna do is find myself the best cook in the world, so he can make me delicious food for me to eat.\" Ace: \"Yeah well your gonna have to get the second best, cause i''m gonna be the one to get the world''s best cook to join my pirate crew.\" Luffy: \"What no am gonna be the pirate king.\" Sage: \"Haha Luffy they weren''t even talking about becoming the pirate king and what do you mean am gonna be the one to have have the world''s best cook on my ship.\"


    Sage notices that Dandan and the other pirates have stopped eating and are looking behind him for some reason. Sage: ''Why is Dandan''s mouth and the others bandits mouths on the floor like if they saw a ghost or something.'' Garp: \"Oi what did I tell you squirts about saying that your gonna be pirates.\"


    Sage was laughing at Luffy and Ace at their poor misfortune for saying that their gonna be pirates in front of gramps Luffy: \"Oi his name is Sabo and he''s not a squirt he our brother, we became brothers over a cup of sake.\" Ace, Sage, and Sabo both cursed Luffy for having such a big mouth. Garp: \"Oh so now the number of brats I can warm up with has gone from three to four.\" Sage: \"Crap come on you guys let''s run for it. If we stay here were gonna end up dying.\" Luffy Ace and Sabo all agreed and ran out the door.


    Ace: \"Baka why would you go back come you guys let''s go save him.\" Sage: \"How can my little brother be so dumb, sometimes I wonder how we are even related. Ace you go to the left of gramps, Sabo you go to his right.\" Sabo:\" Alright what are you gonna do.\" Sage: \"I''m gonna go right at him, so you guys support by annoying him, but try and get Luffy and then run away as fast as possible.\" Sabo: \"Alright then let''s do it. Ace: Yeah come on let''s go.\"


    Ace and Sabo run to the sides of Garp while Sage runs right at him. Garp: \"Oh so you squirts think you can fight back. Alright then Sage come at me let''s see how much you have improved since I''ve last seen you.\" Sage: \"Alright then gramps your in for a treat.\" Garp: \"Enough talk come at me\"


    Sage rushes at Garp and starts to throw a flurry of blows that Garp blocks easily. Garp: \"Its seems that you have gotten much stronger since I last saw you, but still it''s not enough.\" Garp throws a fist at Sage, but to his surprise Sage actually manages to dodge it and catches him off guard because of it. Sage: \"Ace Sabo now hit him at the same time.\"


    Ace and Sabo both rush Garp with pipes in hand. Ace comes at him from the right side while Sabo coms at him from the left. Sage throws a fist at Garps stomach because Garp''s to tall for him to reach without having to jump up.


    [I was surprised that when I searched up how tall Garp was that 287 cm/ 9''5. Like damn I know people in one piece are super tall, but I thought that Garp was one of the more small people. Nope it''s just that''s he small when compared to other tall people]


    Sage manages to land a hit on Garp, but that manages to bring Garp out of his shock. Garp grabs both of Ace''s and Sabo''s wrist and throws them both into tree''s. Luffy tried to get some shots in sneakily, but he ends up missing bad and hits Ace mid air. Garp then grabs Luffy''s elongated arm and throws him into a tree as well.


    Garp: \"Sage you really managed to surprise me, how did you learn haki. I know I haven''t ever told you about it, so how did you learn it.\" Sage: \"Haki? What''s that, is it some type of food or something\" ( he ask seriously) Garp: \"Bahahaha you don''t even know what haki is, but you managed to still learn it all on your own. hahaha just what I would expect from my grandon.\" Sage: \"Oi gramps what''s haki, hurry up and tell me is it some type of delicious food or something.\" Garp: \"Bahaha you''ve done well to become stronger, but still it isn''t enough for you to think that you can dodge my attacks.\"


    Garp then grabs Sage''s shoulders and throws him into a tree right next to his brothers. Before Sage even knew what happened he got picked up and thrown into a tree. He didn''t even have a chance to react. Sage then joined his brothers in being unconscious.


    Garp: '' Too think that he managed to learn how to observation haki all by himself. He really is my grandson. He will grow up to be a wonderful marine.'' Garp then picks up the four unconscious kids and puts them in their room so that they can sleep in peace.


    Sabo: \"Oi Sage wake up.\" Sage: \"Hmm five more mins.\" Ace: \"Oi wake up.\" Sage: \"Uhh what do you guys want am trying to sleep here.\" Sabo: \"We need to get out of here Sage, if we stay here that old man is gonna kill us tomorrow.\" Ace: \"Yeah, so I say we run off.\" Luffy: \"Yeah, and we''ve already agreed that since were all brothers that we gotta go together.\" Sage: \"Alright then fine, but where are we gonna stay.\" Ace: \"We''ll figure that our later, come on lets go before they wake up again.\"


    [They leave the bandits home, but leave behind a letter of what their doing AKA running away. Anyway''s end of the chapter]

 6 Chapter 6

    Currently Sage, Ace, Sabo, and Luffy are inside a huge tree lieing asleep against each other and sleeping through the heavy rain using the protection of the tree as a roof. They just ran away from the bandits home, so as to avoid the suffering at the hands of Garp.


    The rain has died down and currently Sabo has woken up and came out of the tree. For some reason he looks up at the tree and it seems he has an idea. Sabo: ''Hehe this is perfect, this is where our new home will be.'' Sabo then grabbed a paper, [which I don''t know where it came from but he got it somehow] and starts to draw on it.


    After Sabo woke up he went to his brothers to tell them about his plan for their home. Sabo: \"Oi you guys wake, I need to show you guys something.\" Luffy: \"Mhmm five more minutes.\" Sabo: \" No, wake up I really need to show you guys this.\" Ace: \" What is so important Sabo that you gotta wake us up so early in the morning.\" Sage: \" Yeah, I hate waking up early so you better have a good reason Sabo.\"


    Sabo: \" Hehe Yeah don''t worry I woke you up for a good reason so don''t get mad.\" Sage: \" Better be, so what is it that you want to show us.\" Sabo: \" Come on follow me.\"


    The boys then come out of the trunk of the tree following Sabo. Ace: \" So, where''s the thing you wanted to show us at Sabo \" ( while looking around to see what Sabo want to show them). Sabo: \" It''s right there \" (Points at a huge tree in front of them) Sage: \" That''s what you wanted to show us Sabo, because if it is am gonna beat you up for waking me up so damn early in the morning.\" [ As you can tell Sage likes to sleep a lot and hates getting woken up early] Sabo: \" Wait up, you know how you said that we have nowhere to live right.\" Sage: \" Yeah what about that.\" Sabo: \" Well how about we build a house in a tree.\"


    Ace: \" Build a house in a tree? \" Sabo: \" Yeah look I got the plans on how to build it right here \" ( Takes out a piece of paper that has a messy drawing on it) Sage: \" Hmmm you know what it doesn''t seem to be a bad idea, let''s do it.\" Luffy: \" But where are we gonna get the stuff to build the tree house?\" Sage: \" Tree house?\" Luffy: \" Yeah that''s what it is isn''t it a house in a tree, so treehouse.\" Sabo: \" Yeah, that sounds like a good name for it actually.\" Ace: \" Well would you look at that, Luffy actually used his brain for once haha \" ( Hits him in the back of the head.) Sage and Sabo laugh along side Ace.


    Luffy: \" Hey that''s not funny Ace \" (says with a pout) Ace: \" Sorry sorry.\" Sabo: \" Alright then let''s go get the materials for the tree house.\" Luffy: \" But where are we gonna get it from.\" Sabo: (sigh) \" Luffy use your brain again there''s a place that''s close by that has a lot of junk we can use.\" Luffy: \" mmmmmm oh I know I know Gray Terminal.\" Sage: \" Hey you actually got it right food job Luffy, but come you guys lets go and get the stuff.\"


    [Skip the construction process]


    Sage: \" Ahh we finally finished.\" Ace: \" Yeah that took us longer than we expected.\" Sabo: \" That''s cause we had Luffy who can use his devil fruit powers who could pass us the materials when we need them.\" Ace: \" True, Luffy maybe you should be a builder instead of a pirate.\" (says with a sarcastic tone) Luffy: \" What no way I want to be a pirate, so there''s no way am gonna become a builder.'' Ace: ''Haha I was just joking Luffy, don''t get so made over it.\"


    Sage: \" Alright that''s enough let''s go catch ourselves some lunch.\" Luffy: \" Food yeah lets go get some lunch i''m hungry \" (while holding his stomach) Sabo: \" Yeah we''re already done so let''s go.\"


    [3 months later]


    Currently it''s winter on dawn island. Right now you can see two boys chasing a bear[ I don''t what it was that they were chasing put it looked to be a mix between a bear and panda, so am gonna go with bear] Ace: \" Come on Sabo we almost got it where we want it.\" Sabo: \" Yeah, OI LUFFY GET READY IT''S COMING YOUR WAY.\" You can see a young boy, no older than eight standing on the edge of a tall hill holding a pipe in his right hand.


    Luffy: \" ALRIGHT, AM READY JUST BRING IT TO ME.\" Luffy then jumps off the edge aiming for the bear. Once he got close enough he swings his pipe downwards hitting the bear right in the nose killing the creature in a single hit. Luffy: (takes a deep breath) \" I GOT IT!!!! Ace, Sabo did you see I killed it in a single hit. I finally got my first kill. \" Ace and Sabo start to walk towards to Luffy. Sabo: \" Haha congrats Luffy.\" Ace: \" It shows that you''ve gotten stronger now Luffy.\" Luffy: \" Yeah, just you guys wait, I''ll become strong enough to beat you guys up and then you''ll be begging to join my pirate crew.\"


    Suddenly Ace and Sabo stop walking towards Luffy. Out of nowhere a huge tiger jumps down from the large hill. Sabo: \" Crap that''s the tiger lord.\" Ace: \" LUFFY GET OUT OF THERE.\" Luffy turns around to look at the tiger lord, but then his legs start to shake while snot starts to come out of his nose. Sabo: \" Luffy it only wants the bear get out of there it doesn''t care about you.\" Luffy: \" Wha-- what no -- way. Th--this is m--- my fir--- first kill, the---- there''s no wa---- way am gon---- gonna let it ea--- eat my first kill.\" Ace: \" BAKA get out of there. There''s nothing we can do, just get away from it you know that only Sage can beat that thing up.\"


    Luffy tries to stand up against the tiger, but the moment he looked it in the eye he collapse because his legs were to wobbly for him to continue standing. When the tiger looked at Luffy in the eyes it for some reason felt familiar with the weak thing in front of it. It felt a bit of fear for some reason and that got it angry, that it the strongest beast on this island, feels fear from a being that is so weak that it can''t even stand on its own legs. The tiger then swings it''s paw at Luffy only for it to get sent flying backwards into the large hill that was behind it.


    The tiger was dazed for a a little while, but quickly regains it bearing and starts to look around for what could have possibly sent it flying. It then sees another small being standing next to the one it was about to kill. but this time it could feel it''s instincts warning it that if it tries to attack this him that it won''t stand a chance against it. Even though it is a beast it has only been able to become the strongest on Dawn island because it is also a intelligent predator.


    The tiger knows that it can''t stand up next to the small being, so it decides to retreat and live to fight another day instead of trying to fight against it and end up dying. The tiger then leaves going back into it''s territory.


    Luffy is looking at the back of the person who just saved him, even though he would have lived even if he would have gotten hit. Luffy: (while crying and snot coming out his nose hugging sage) \"Wahh Nii-chan I was so scared I thought I was gonna die\" (Leaves snot on Sage''s pants) Sage: \" Oi Luffy come on that''s disgusting. You''re leaving snot all over my pants.\"


    After saying that Ace and Sabo start to walk again towards the duo. Ace: \" Oi Sage where were you in the morning, we couldn''t find you so we went out to hunt for breakfast.\" Sage: \" Oh sorry about that I went out at night looking for some fruits and vegetables cause I wanted to try something for today''s soup, but you will never guess what I found while I was looking for it.\" Sabo: \" What? Did you find something cool or special.\"


    Sage then shows them his arm and it turns into water. Ace: \" What the hell, your arm just turned into water\" (says with a shocked face) Sage: \" Hehe yeah it did, I think I ate a devil fruit like Luffy except mine turns my body into water, not rubber.\" Sabo: \" Awesome, but can you swim cause your body can turn into water so does that you mean you can swim.\" Sage: \" I don''t know. I haven''t tried cause I wasn''t sure and I didn''t want to end up accidentally drowning you know.\"


    Ace: \" Yeah your right, but we should check later to see if you can swim or not. We''ll be with you so of anything goes wrong and you can''t swim me or Sabo will save you from drowning.\" Sage: \" Yeah let''s check later, but for now let''s take this bear home.\" With that the boys went on home taking the two bears since Ace and Sabo killed another one earlier on.


    [Currently it''s night and the boys are about to go to sleep]


    Luffy: \" Man I almost lost my first kill to that stupid tiger.\" Ace: \" Well even if you did lose it to the tiger we wouldn''t have been able to do anything to it since only Sage can beat it up.\" Sabo: \" Yeah Luffy, but it''s fine since Sage managed to stop it from taking your first kill so it''s fine.\" Sage just nods to Sabo''s response agreeing with him. Luffy: \" Hehe yeah I guess you''re right, but I have an idea.\" Sage: \" Hmm an idea from you, alright let''s hear it.\"


    Luffy: \" Hehe you know how we all want to be the captain of the crew well how about we do this first. Whoever can beat the tiger lord first gets to be the captain.\" Ace: \" That doesn''t work cause if we do it that way then Sage is gonna win right off the bat since he can already kill the tiger lord, but he''s just lets it live since he''s too lazy to kill it.\" Sage nods his head at Ace''s response since he really is to lazy to kill it himself.


    Luffy:\" It doesn''t matter cause Sage doesn''t want to be a pirate.\" Ace and Sabo get shocked by this news and look at Sage for confirmation. Sage: \" Yup it''s true am gonna become a marine instead of a pirate.\" Ace: \" What, so your gonna come after us then. Don''t think i''m gonna let you catch me to easily. I''ll beat you and then you won''t be able to capture be.\" Sage: \" No of course not I want to be a marine because I want to protect the people who can''t protect themselves.\" Sabo: \" But that means you gonna go after criminals and pirates.\"


    Sage: \" Yeah, but am only gonna go after the bad one''s not the good ones like you guys.\" Ace: \" Oh I know you want to protect the weak but isn''t that gonna be a pain.\" Sage: \" Yeah I guess so, but that also gives me a chance to get info on the marines, so that if you guys ever need info on something that''s related to the marines or something I can hook you guys up.\" Sabo: \" Alright then we''ll be counting on you Sage.\"


    Sage: \" Don''t work you guys can count on me, I am the oldest one so I gotta look out for my younger brothers.\" Ace: \" Hehe alright then let''s do as Luffy says then. The one who can kill or beat the tiger lord becomes the captain. Are you guys in.\" Luffy and Sabo: \" Yeah!!! \" Sage: \" Alright then tomorrow you guys can get some bait to bring it out and then fight it one at a time. I''ll watch from the side to make sure you guys don''t get hurt alright.\"


    The boys agree with Sage and then go to sleep

 7 Chapter 7

    The following day Sage, Ace, Sabo, and Luffy woke up early in the morning to go find bait to use to lure the tiger lord. They decided to go fishing and use whatever they caught as bait instead of hunting beast since most of them are currently hibernating and they don''t want to waste their time looking for those beast just to use it as bait.


    After they all caught a fish Ace, Sabo, and Luffy tied it to their backs and walked to the edge of the tiger lord''s territory. Sage followed them to ensure that they didn''t end up dying while fighting the tiger lord. Luffy: \"Man why do we have to give the stupid tiger our fish. It took us so long to catch them.\" Sabo: \"Luffy we''ve already decided to use fish as bait. Plus if your really that mad you can ask Sage to give you his since he doesn''t really care about eating it.\"


    Luffy: \"Right oi nii-chan if you don''t want your fish can I have it\"(ask with a bit of hope in his voice) Sage seeing that his brother really wanted to eat fish today for some reason said, Sage: \"Sure Luffy after you guys finish fighting the tiger lord I''ll give it to you.\" Luffy: \"Yes thank you nii-chan.\" Sage: \" No problem Luffy. Now you guys should be on the edge of the tiger lord''s domain. You guys should wait around for a bit, all he needs is to catch the scent of the fish and he''ll come running.\" Ace: \"Yeah, but I hope it doesn''t take to long though\"


    Sabo: \"It shouldn''t since we''re on edge of his territory, he''ll probably think it''s free food you know.\" Ace: \"Yeah I guess so.\" [15 minutes later] The ground starts to shake a bit alerting the boys that the beast is close by. Sage: \"Alright it seems that it''s almost here. Who''s gonna go first.\"


    Ace instantly says that it he going first while the Luffy and Sabo say it''s not fair, but Ace just said they were to slow while smiling at them. From the forest a huge beast starts to walk out with glowing red eyes. Ace instantly rushes it with his trusty pipe in hand and swings downwards onto the beast nose with enough strength to make it''s face look down. But then Sage notices that the beast is big like the tiger lord, but it still looks different.


    Sage: \"Oi you guys that isn''t the tiger lord. It''s just the bear that''s always challenging the tiger lord.'' Ace: \"Ah what that sucks.\" Sage: \"No, actually this is a good warm up for you guys. If you can''t beat this guy then that means that you guys are not ready to face the tiger lord yet.\" Sabo: \"Sage is right, if we can''t even beat this guy. The one who''s always getting his ass handed to him by the tiger lord then that means that were not ready yet for the tiger lord yet.\"


    Ace: \"Alright then I''ll go and beat it up then go after the tiger lord.\" With that Ace jumped right at the bear attempting to hit it with his pipe again in the face, but this time when he hit the bear in the face his pipe ended up breaking and he lands next to the Luffy and Sabo. [Sage is farther away since the tiger lord fears him. If he''s to close and the tiger lord catches his sent he won''t come] Ace: \"Oh shit RUN!!!\"


    Ace, Sabo, and Luffy started to run and yell at each other while running towards Sage who was standing outside of the forest in a open clearing watching from afar. Sage: ''It seems they couldn''t even beat the bear and now their running towards me haha.'' Sage starts to laugh while looking towards his brother who are running for their lives while they look quite funny. Sabo: \"OI SAGE HELP US!!!!\" Luffy: \"NII-CHAN HELP ME!!!!\" Ace: \"SAGE YOU BASTARD STOP LAUGHING AND HELP US!!!\"


    Just as Sage was about to move and help out his brother a wooden hammer comes out of nowhere and hits the bear square in the head forcing it to fall on it''s back. Sage: \"What the, where''d that come from.\"


    Out of nowhere a old man comes from wearing a gray clock lands in front of the boys. The boys look at the old man who just landed in front of them looking at the bear then back at the old man. Sage: Oi who''s this old man. Sabo: \"That''s Naguri, I''ve seen him around in Gray terminal. I would have never guessed he was hiding this much strength.\" Luffy: \"Why\"


    Sabo: \"He was always the first to go looking through the junk and I would also see him getting teased by the others in Gray terminal.\" Naguri: \"You do not belong here beast go back to the forest.\" The bear seemed unfazed by the old man even though it was just hit by his wooden hammer right in the face. The bear charged towards Naguri while the boys yelled for him to get out of the way.


    Sage was about to move and save Naguri when he saw Naguri lift his right arm aim it at the bear and just as the bear was about to hit him it stopped for some reason. Ace: \"What the, why''d the bear stop.\" Luffy with stars in his eyes yells out, \"That''s the thing that Shanks did on the sea king. When Shanks looked at the sea king, the fish got scared and listened to him when he told it go away.\" Sage: \"Luffy are you sure that he did the same thing as Shanks did back then.\" Luffy: \"Yeah am sure of it.\"


    While the boys were in the middle of their conversation Naguri was walking away. Sabo: \" Naguri wait up.\" The boys then noticed that Naguri was leaving and rushed to catch up to him. Ace: \" Oi old man how did you do that.\" Nagari turns around and looks to the four boys, \" Hmm what do you mean I did nothing. Also you kids shouldn''t be here it is dangerous for you.\" Luffy: : Old man how did you use Shank''s move.


    Naguri: \" Oh so you want to know what I used to defeat that giant bear. Well all I did was tell it shouldn''t be here and then it left\" Ace: \"Stingy your just like Sage. If you don''t want to tell us what you did fine then, come on you guys let''s go home.\" Luffy: \"WAIT old man I want you to help me train.\" Ace: \"Come on Luffy just leave him or else we''re just gonna leave you behind\" Ace says as his voice starts to become quieter the farther he gets. Sage: \" Come on Luffy let''s go or we will leave you behind. \"


    Naguri: \" Why do you want to become stronger. \" Luffy: \" Because me, Ace, and Sabo made a deal that the first person to beat the tiger lord gets to become the captain of our pirate ship.\" Naguri: \" Oh you want to be a pirate why it''s a dangerous life being a pirate.\" Luffy: \" Because being a pirate means being free and doing whatever you want to do.\"


    Naguri: \" Alright then come follow me\" Luffy and Naguri go in the opposite direction of the forest.


    [Lets go to the others]


    Sage is currently following Ace and Sabo back to their home. Sabo: \" Hmm where''s Luffy don''t tell me he stayed behind.\" Ace: (sigh) \" Come on let''s go get him. Luffy doesn''t know his way back home from here.\" Sage: \" Na you guys keep going home I''ll go and get him see ya at home.\" Sabo: \" Alright then see ya there.\" Ace: \"Laters.\" Sage starts to walk back to the open clearing to go and check on Luffy.


    Sage: ''Hmm he''s following the old man to the opposite side of the island. Maybe the old man accepted to train, but to be sure am gonna follow and make sure the old man doesn''t have any bad ideas.'' With that Sage follows Naguri and Luffy back to Naguri''s camp. Naguri: ''Hmm seems one of the other kids are following me. I''ll let him be most likely he''s following to make sure that I don''t do anything to his friend.''


    Once they arrived to the edge of the island where Naguri''s campsite is Sage sticks around for the rest of the day to watch what they are gonna do. After spending most of the day watching the old man and seeing that he''s just making his brother go and chop trees down. Sage decides to head back home and tell the others that Luffy is gonna be staying with the old man for a while.


    [ To Ace and Sabo]


    Sabo: Hey do you think we should go and check up on Sage. \" It''s almost gonna be night and he''s still not back with Luffy.     Sage: \" You hope who''s okay?\" Sabo and Ace: \"Ahhhh!!!\" Sage: \" What are you guys yelling for.\" Sabo: \" You scared us you bastard. How about next time you knock. Ace: \" Yeah you almost gave me a heart attack.\" Ace holds his heart while breathing. Sage: \" Ah stop being a pair of scaredy cats and let''s eat.\" Ace: \" Alright then but where''s Luffy at.\" Sabo: \" Now that you mention it. Sage where is Luffy.\" Sage: \" Oh he''s gonna be staying with the old man for a while. He accepted to train him that''s why i came so late. I was watching to make sure that the old man wasn''t gonna do anything to Luffy.


    Sabo: \" Oh no wonder it took so long for you to come back, we were about to go looking for you.\" Sage: \" Come on you guys know how strong I am plus now that my body turns into water every time I get hit no one can beat me now hahahaha. \" Ace: \" Yeah yeah whatever by the way are we gonna test if you can swim or not.\" Sage: \" Oh yeah I forgot about that. Yeah come lets go and see if I can actually still swim or not.\"

    [1 Month Later]


    Sabo: \" Oi Sage when do you think Luffy is gonna finish training with Naguri\" Sage is walking with both his hands on the back of his head walking without a care in the world, \" mmmm I think that he sould almost be done training with Naguri last time I checked. It''s surprising how much stronger he has become.\" Ace: \" Maybe he''s strong enough to beat Sabo now.\" Sabo: \" No way am much stronger than I was compared to last month. I bet I could beat you now. \"


    Sage: \" Well Luffy has become much stronger compared to last month, but it''s still not enough to beat any of you guys. \" Sage then disappears and reappears a few meters away from his original spot next to Sabo and Ace. Ace: \" Why''d you run over there Sage.\" Sage: \" Cause of that\" Sage points at a huge tree that is beginning to fall in the direction of where Ace and Sabo are. Ace: \" OH SHIT run for it Sabo.\" Ace and Sabo start to run to so as to avoid getting crushed by the tree.


    Ace and Sabo manage to dodge the tree and stop running once they got next to Sage. Sabo: \" Man that was close. Why the hell did that tree fall over.\" Ace and Sabo look over to Sage and give him a look that pretty much says do you know why. Sage: \" What are you guys looking at me for. I don''t know why it feel over, but I think I got an idea.\" Ace: \" What''s the idea.\" Sage: \" It was Luffy.\" Sage just states that plainly.


    Sabo: \" Luffy, but he''s not even here.\" Sage: \" Nope he''s actually right next to the base of the tree I can see him right there.\" Sage points over at the direction of the tree. Ace and Sabo notice a figure in the dust and snow that was kicked over due to the fall of the tree. Luffy: Oh Sage Ace Sabo I didn''t see you guys down there. how have you guys been? \" Ace and Sabo were able to guess it was Luffy after the fact that they saw right next to the base of the tree with a axe in his hand.


    Sabo: \" We''ve been good Luffy, but how has your training with Naguri been. \" Luffy expression changes to have a proud smirk on his face, \" Hehe I''ve gotten stronger now. I even made up a new move.\" Sabo: \" Really what is it show it to me.\" Luffy: \" I''ll show it to you once we get to back to the Naguri''s campsite.


    [To Naguri''s campsite. Sage''s P.O.V]


    Currently Luffy is setting up a target to show Sabo his new move. I already saw it, it''s not that bad if not for the fact that Luffy has some horrible aim for some odd reason. I think he called it Gomu Gomu no pistol, but am not sure. Sage: \" Oi Naguri how have you been doing old man.\" Naguri: \" Oh Sage am been doing just fine. I see you brought over your other brothers this time around.\" Sage: \" Yeah, I wasn''t planning on coming over today, but we met Luffy while hunting for some food and ended up coming on over hope you don''t mind.\"


    Naguri: \" No no I don''t mind at all. In fact it''s been much more lively around now that am not on my own, but have you and Luffy to talk to.\" Sage: \" Haha true being on your own for a long time to get pretty boring.\"


    [ Am gonna skip over this part. For those who haven''t seen the anime or read the manga. All that really happens is Ace fights with Naguri where Naguri wins easily and then shows them his pirate ship. He ask Ace to help him finish build the ship since he lost the fight. Sabo then joins in. Am just gonna skip over that and go to the part when they start to fight with the tiger lord again]


    [End of Sage''s P.O.V]


    Naguri: \" So are you guys ready to face the tiger lord again.\" Ace: \" Yeah am going first.\" Ace then rushes straight at the tiger lord while Luffy and Sabo are complaining again about Ace not being fair. Ace goes right off the bat for a frontal assault and attacks the tiger lord using his pipe to hit him in the face. This time Ace manages to actually do some damage on the tiger lord, but he only manages to annoy it.


    The tiger lord looks at Ace who is in mid air unable to dodge and then attempts to hit him with his paw to send Ace flying. Ace couldn''t do anything but brace for the hit. He gets hit and is sent flying into the ground leaving a trail from him sliding through the ground. Sabo seeing that the tiger focusing on Ace and leaving it''s guard open through his hook and manages to wrap it around its neck. He tries to pull on it, but the tiger just moves its neck and sends Sabo flying over towards itself and then smacks him with its paw and sends him into the ground.


    Sage was about to interfere when he saw this, but Naguri puts his hand in front of him and shakes his head. Sage: \" What do mean if I don''t move right now then I might not make in time to save Luffy.\" Naguri: \" Don''t worry trust in your brothers they can do this.\" Sage: \" What are you talking about none of them could beat the tiger lord alone.\" Naguri: \" Exactly maybe not alone, but together they stand a chance of defeating it.\"


    After that Sage stops complaining and decides to keep watching and not interfere just yet. Even though is seemed like Sage and Naguri were taking a long time to discuss this in reality they finished their conversation in less than 2 seconds. The tiger lord was close to Luffy and began to raise it''s paws. It swings it''s paw aiming to squish Luffy underneath it and when it''s paw was about to land on Luffy it couldn''t finish the job. Ace and Sabo were holding the tiger lords paw over their heads using all the strength they got to keep it from squishing both them and Luffy.


    Luffy then calls out their names in surprise, \" Ace Sabo.\" Sabo: \" Damn this thing is heavy just how much strength does it have.\" Ace: \" Yeah we can''t beat it on our own, so Sabo Luffy come on let''s take it down together.\" Hearing what Ace just said both Luffy and Sabo nod to him. All three of them get away from the tiger lord and begin to make up a plan. Ace: Alright, Sabo I need you to distract the tiger long enough for me and Luffy to do our parts alright. \" Sabo nods to Ace and then begins to move. Sabo\" Oi you stupid overgrown cat come and get me.\" With that Sabo managed to get it''s attention easily and starts to run in the opposite direction of where Luffy and Ace are supposed to be.


    Sabo: \" Huh I guess this means that Ace is the captain.\" Luffy: \" Ah man that sucks I wanted to be the captain.\" Ace: (sigh) No I won''t be the captain because I didn''t beat the tiger lord on my own, but you guys will be begging me to be your captain.\" Luffy and Sabo: \" Na were good\" Ace just looks at then saying, \" Oi what''s that supposed to mean.\"

 9 Chapter 9

    [1 month after the tiger lord was defeated by Ace, Luffy, and Sabo. Winter has finally ended on Dawn island]


    Sage: \"Ah am surprised our home actually managed to survive past last nights storm.\" Sabo: \" Yeah, but we are gonna have to get materials to repair it though.\" Sabo states while picking up a piece of wood that was formerly attached to the bottom of the tree house. Ace: \" Yeah I guess so. Let''s go looking for some in Gray terminal. I doubt we won''t be able to find what we need there so let''s go after we eat breakfast.\"


    The boys then went off into the forest to hunt for some food. After the boys defeated the tiger lord the area around the mountain pretty much became their personal hunting grounds. Anytime they went hunting they would go towards the mountain due to the fact that after the tiger lord''s death. A lot of bears started to live on it, but because of that the buys started to eat a lot of bear meat.


    [After they finished hunting]


    Sabo: \" There that should be enough food for the rest of the day.\" Ace: \" Sabo you know that''s not gonna be enough. It barely gonna be enough for breakfast, you know how much Sage and Luffy like to eat.\" Luffy: \" Yeah, but you like to eat a lot to Ace.\" Sage: \" Haha yeah we do eat a lot don''t we. Either way it''s still enough for us to eat a big breakfast and have some left over, so lets start to head back.\" After that they started to head back home dragging behind them 3 bear''s that are each the size of 2 houses behind them.


    When they finally got close enough for their home to be in view they saw a old tall man standing in front it. Inwardly they all started to curse because they recognized the old man as the demon who would always torment them whenever they meet so they ducked into some bushes to try and ambush him. Ace climbed up onto a tree and walked onto a sturdy branch that was just about over the head of the old man. Sabo went to the left side of the old man and hid in a thick bush. Sage also went and hid in a bush that was on the old man''s right.


    But Luffy being Luffy didn''t hide, but called out the old man. Luffy: \" Oi gramps what are you doing here\" Luffy ask the old man with a bright smile on his face. Garp: \" Oh Luffy where are your brothers at.\" Luffy: \" Oh Ace is on top of you. Sage and Sabo are hiding in bushes off to your sides.\" The trio after hearing their youngest brother give out their location immediately began their assault on Garp hoping to get a hit on Garp.


    Sabo was the first to get sent flying backwards, but unlike the first time they met he only got sent sliding backwards and not sent flying unconscious into a tree. Garp was a bit surprised, but he was expecting this since he knows that these kids are monsters each in their own right. Ace was soon to follow and he attempted to hit Garp with his mighty pipe, but Garp just blocked it with his hand. He grabbed Ace by the head and sent him into Sabo knocking both of them into the ground.


    Garp then shifted his attention to his eldest grandson who was surprising not charging straight at him. Garp: \" Oh so you''ve learned that you can''t take. Are gonna come at me or should I come to you Sage.\" After that short dialogue Garp starts to walk towards Sage and then starts to shortly start running, but not too fast since he wants to see how strong his grandson has become since their last meeting. Sage seeing his grandfather start to run lifts his hand up which is in the form of a pistol and aims it at Garp.


    A Akuma no mi/Devil fruit. A water type at that. He has heard rumors about their being a water type devil fruit, but he never believed it since one of the only weakness a devil fruit user has is water. But right now in front of him his grandson just used it a water type devil fruit. Even though Garp is known as a person who is not really ever serious and is always joking around around. He knows just how dangerous a water type devil fruit can be if it''s in the wrong hands.


    After he dodged the move he stopped moving and looked at his grandson. Garp: \" Sage how did you do that.\" Sage: \" Oh it happened after I found a strange looking fruit and ate it. Next thing I know My hand turns into water. It freaked my out for a little while until i managed to change it back. I was a bit scared but then i remembered what happened to Luffy and how got his abilities because he ate a devil fruit. So I thought that i ate one to.\" After hearing him confirm that he ate a devil fruit to gain his abilities he nodded and was even more surprised since it seems that the one he ate was also a logia type.


    Garp: \" Oi Sage next time I leave your coming with me alright.\" Sage was shocked when he heard Garp say that he was bringing him with him. Sage: \" But what about Luffy or Ace or Sabo. I can''t just leave then behind Gramps their my brothers. Luffy: \" What no I don''t want Sage to leave gramps why do you need to take him.\" Garp was about to speak, but got interrupted by Luffy and then Ace and Sabo added in their own pieces. Ace: \" You stupid old man first you beat us up and then your trying to take Sage with you. No way you gonna have to beat all us before we let that happen.\" Sabo: \" Yeah you stupid old geezer we''re not gonna let you take Sage without a fight.\"


    Garp: \" Sage that''s because his is a paramecia type and also it makes him a rubber man. He still has all the normal weakness a normal devil fruit user has, but you ate a water type devil fruit. A logia type at that and if anyone regoncinzes it then they might try and take you to sell you off. I will NOT allow that to happen, so you will come with me to ensure nothing like that happens UNDERSTOOD.\" Even though Garp was being mean. It''s because he knew how dangerous it would be for Sage if someone recognized that he has a water type devil fruit.


    Even though the chances are low since they are in the east blue and on Dawn island. Where pretty much no one knows about devil fruits. Garp isn''t willing to take chances since this is his grandson and he will not allow him to be harmed by greedy people who would want to use him for their own selfish purposes. Even though Sage is young, he is much more intelligent then he lets on. He understands the power he has and also the dangers that come with it.


    Even though he''s sad that he has to leave behind his brothers. If they were to get hurt or even end up dying trying to protect him. he would never be able to forgive himself for it, so he knows the best way to avoid that is to go with his grandfather. Sage: \"(Sigh) I understand gramps no need to yell. When are we leaving then.\" Sage asks Garp with a sad and low tone. Garp seeing his grandson who he has never seen sad before couldn''t help but feel regretful that he has to separate them, but he knows that he has to do this for his safety for else who knows what could happen while he''s not there on the island.


    Garp: \" Cheer up Sage. It won''t take that long because once Ace turns 17 I''ll take him back with me so that he can join the marines as well, but we''re leaving tomorrow.\" Sage: '' Ha by the time you realize it Ace is gonna be out in the ocean sailing as a pirate.'' Garp: \" Now then let''s eat am starving. Let''s see oh you guys hunted for quite a bit. Let''s go cook it am hungry. Garp walks off picks up the three bears that are the size of 2 houses and takes them so he can cook them up while leaving the boys alone.


    Sage and Sabo woke up when Garp was explaining the dangers of Sage being left on the island with no protection. Sage then starts to talk with a low sad and slightly regretful tone, \" Soo I guess today''s the last time I will get to be with you guys huh.\" Ace: \" Yeah I guess so, but on the bright side you going to be able to start your training to be a marine earlier since your going with gramps.\" Ace tries to lower the depressed mood by saying this, but it fails to do the job. Luffy then talks but he''s crying with snot coming out of his nose when he tries to talk.


    Luffy: \" Ahh (sniff) but I don''t want Sage (sniff) to leave\" Sabo: \" Yeah Luffy we know none of want him to leave, but if he stays here he gonna be in danger. You heard what gramps said will happen to him if someone regocnizes his powers.\" Sage: \" Don''t worry you guys we will meet again. We''ll meet again when you guys are out in the sea as pirates and am in the sea as a marine alright. So let''s stop this depressing mood and let''s go eat before gramps eats all the food.\" When Luffy heard the word food he got happier, but he was sill sad since his brother was leaving and he won''t get to see him for a long time.


    [To the next day when Sage is about to leave]


    Sage is currently at the docks next to a humongus ship that has a dog''s head as its figurehead. It has it''s crow nest shaped like a doghouse. It has four mast that are shaped like bones with dog-paws. It has three triple-barreled guns on the front and sides of the ship. It also has two sets of six large cannons on both sides of the hull.


    Sago: \" Holy crap gramps your ship is huge, but what''s up with the dog theme.\" Garp: \" Hahaha I know it''s a navy battleship. This is my own ship, so I can customize it however I want. You don''t like the dog or what.\" Garp tells his grandson with a voice warning him. Sage: \" No no I think it looks awesome. When I get to the marines will I get a ship this big.\" Sage ask with aticaption in his voice cause he really wants to get himself a ship like this just without the dog theme. Garp: \" Sure once you join the marines and reach the same rank as me then you''ll be able to get your own.\"


    Sage: \" Really then what''s your rank gramps.\" Just as Garp was about to tell him one of his men call out. Random Marine while saluting towards Garp, \" Vice-Admiral Garp Sir, we have finished with resupplying the ship and all preparation. We are just waiting for you order to set sail.\" Garp: \" Alright then come on Sage it''s time we set sail.\" Sage just sighs and looks back towards Foosha village knowing it will be a few years before he comes back here. He stands there for a bit before moving towards the battleship to board.


    \" SAGE WAIT UP\" Out of nowhere someone calls out Sage''s name. Sage turns around to see his three younger brothers regaining their breath from having to sprint all the way here to make it in time. They were supposed to leave in the morning and Sage didn''t want to say goodbye to them, so he told Garp not to wake them up and just left them to sleep. But it seems they woke anyways and ran all the way here.


    Ace: \" (huff) Sage you (huff) bastard why didn''t (huff) you wake us up.\" Sage: \" Sorry I just didn''t want to have to say goodbye to you guys.\" Sabo: \" (huff) So you were gonna (huff) Leave without saying goodbye. \" Sage: \" That was the plan, but as you can see it didn''t work out to well. Luffy: \" (huff) Sage you meanie (huff) were brothers so (huff) how could you do that.\" Garp then yells out from the ship, \" OI SAGE HURRY UP IT''S TIME TO GO HURRY UP AND SAY GOODBYE. It''s not like it''s gonna be the last time you see them.\" Sage: \" (sigh) I guess this is goodbye then for a while. Sage lifts up his fist and puts it in front of them. Ace then does the same and then Sabo then Luffy.


    Sage then says, \" The next time we met am gonna be marine and you guys will be pirates. If I ever hear you guys commit some type of evil crime then know am gonna chase your asses then and show you hell got it.\" Ace Sabo and Luffy feel sweat fall on their back seeing the dangerous look their eldest brother has. Ace Sabo Luffy: \" Don''t worry we will never do something like that.\" Luffy: \" Yeah I just want to be a pirate because pirates have the most freedom on the seas and the pirate king has the most freedom in the world.


    Ace: \" Yeah, next time I see you I''ll be stronger than you so be ready to lose Sage.\" Sage: \" Hehe I''ll be waiting then don''t slack off on your training.\" Sabo: \" Hehe don''t worry we won''t. , just don''t complain when i beat you. Sage: \" Haha wouldn''t even dream of it. Goodbye you guys\". Ace: \" Laters Sage be ready to lose the next time we meet.\" Sabo: Till we meet again Sage laters. Luffy: \" Goodbye Onii-chan, next time we meet. I will be on my journey to be the pirate king shishishi.\"


    With that Sage turns his back towards his brothers and walks on the board the ship. The marines on board then drop the sails and the ship soon leaves dock. Sage waves back at his brothers who are waving at him and yells out, \" NEXT TIME I SEE YOU GUYS YOU BETTER BE READY TO FIGHT ME!!! \"

 10 Chapter 10

    In the middle of the sea you can see a battleship that''s been customized to look like a dog for some reason. On the ship currently, the sailors/marines are currently doing their morning training on the deck. At the front of those marines there''s a 11 year old boy running past them, but unlike them he''s not doing just the same exercises as them but is doing even more while using weights.


    The training is composed of every marine attempting to utilize Rokushiki. Each marine has been taught the basics on how to use Rokushiki. They will first start off with Soro, Rankyaku, Shigan, Geppo, Kami-e, and then lastly Tekkai. They will then repeat this cycle until their unable to even move.


    Right now Sage is learning how to use Rokushiki at a monstrous speed. Even though he still cannot use any of the techniques of Rokushiki yet. If he keeps up the speed he has right now by the time they arrive to Marine Fort he will be able to Soro and Tekkai while Rankyaku, Kami-e, and Geppo will only fall behind by a little bit. Sage seems to be more talented in using those two more then the others, but don''t let that fool you.


    Most marines train for at least 2-3 years before they are able to utilize just one of the six powers while even the most talented oes take at least a year, but Sage in just 3 weeks will be able to us 2 out of the six powers. Most probably in less than half a year will be able to use every one of the six powers at least at the beginner level. When the marine soldiers realized this, they couldn''t help but so frustrated since right here in front of them a 11 year old boy by the time he is 12 years old will be able to use all six powers.


    The difference in talent is just to big, but they also not only that. It''s also because Sage not only trains using weights, but also trains pretty much all day except when he takes break to eat or when he needs to relieve himself. The marines understand that even if they wanted to teach the boy some lessons they couldn''t since Sage is already able to pretty much beat everyone on the ship except for the higher ranked marines like Captain Bogard and Vice Admiral Garp, but neither are interested in doing anything since one is his grandson while the other seems to taken a liking to the young boy.


    Sage: \" It been a week since I left dawn island. I think this is what people call home sickness. I really miss Dawn island. I wonder how those idiots are doing. It''s already morning I wonder if their doing alright without me. Ah who am I kidding, there''s probably no one on the island who can beat them as long as they work together so they''ll be fine even without me. I need to become stronger, so that if they are ever in trouble I can protect them from it. Even if I have to die I won''t let any one of my brothers die.\"


    A marine wearing a coat with the words (True Justice) on his back. Bogard: Hello Sage how has your training been going so far. Sage: Yo uncle Bogard. My training so far hasn''t been all that bad I guess, so far am about half ways to achieving the beginner level for both Soro and Tekkai. While with the other powers I am about a fifth of the way there.\" Sage tells Bogard who he has grown close to while on his first trip through the sea with a bit of a disappointed tone. Bogard: \"Haha you funny Sage you know that.\"


    Sage: \" What why you think i''m lieing don''t you.\" Bogard: \" No no I belive you Sage it''s just that when you said that you sounded a bit disappointed. Haha if any of the other marines were to hear you say that and you were disappointed by those results then they wouldn''t even know what to do anymore haha.\" At this moment another person joins in the conversation as well. Garp: \"Bwhahaha what Bogard says is true you know most of the marines have been training for at least two years and only a few of them have been able to nearly reach the beginner level and here you are complaining about being unable to master more of the six powers while by next week or earlier you going to reach the beginner level in soro and Tekkai Bwhahaha just what i would expect from my grandson.\"


    Sage scratches the back of the head while grinning a little. Sage: \" I guess, but I don''t get why they can''t do it. For me it''s been really easy to learn it, so i don''t get why they struggle.\" Sage innocently ask while the rest of the marines around him who heard just couldn''t even be mad seeing how he genuinely was confused on why they struggle so much on Rokushiki. Bogard: \" Haha your just like Garp oblivious to everything.\" Garp: \" Oi what''s that supposed to mean.\"


    Bogard just ignores him and keeps talking, \" You know that most marines train at the very least two years before they are able to reach the beginner level in one of the six powers you know. Even the talented ones took at least a year, but here you are in less than a month reaching the beginner level in two of the six powers. It took me a year and a half to reach the beginner level in Geppo. Heck even Garp took a year and 2 months to reach the beginner level in Tekkai.\"


    Sage: \" Really wow then you guys must have been slacking huh to take that long to learn something so simple.\" Garp: \" Random Marine: \" (sigh) Sage it''s not that were slacking it''s just that your just was to monstrus when it comes to Rokushiki when compared to the rest of us you know.\" The other Marines nod their head agreeing to with their fellow comrade. Sage: \" Oh sorry\" Bogard: \" Either way Garp said that you ate a devil fruit, but he didn''t tell us which one. He said that he wanted to surprise the crew so you mind showing us what it is.\"


    Sage: \" I don''t mind. I haven''t been training it all that much since I''ve been focusing on Rokushiki, but I came up with a new move when we were sailing so look.\" Sage moves towards the back of the ship and the rest of the crew follow him. he then raises his hands then he tightens his fingers and then he lifts his arms a bit higher while he looks like if he''s pulling something. Then Sage says, \"(Tsunami)\" A wave then starts to rise from the ocean beginning to get bigger and higher before falling back down after traveling for a while before falling and pushing the ship a bit, but no by much.


    Sage starts to pant after that and realizes that he''s gonna need to up his stamina if he''s ever going to make a wave bigger than a small ship. While Sage is busy thinking of ways to improve his strength. the crew who just saw what he did have shocked expressions on each of their faces before looking towards the 11 year old boy. Each one of them shared the same thought, ''What a monster to have such talent not only at a young age, but to also have such a powerful devil fruit. How lucky is this guy.\"


    Bogard is currently thinking about what he just witnessed. He had heard rumors that a water type devil fruit existed, but he thought they were just that rumors, but apparently they aren''t. Garp: \" Bwhahaha you see what did I tell you. The faces you guys made oh. You should''ve seen your faces you guys looked, so funny Bwhahaha.\" His crew just looks at him and begin to laugh as well. Random Marine 1: \"Haha Vice Admiral Garp you have one hell of a grandson you known.\" Garp: \" Bwhahaha I know.\" After that Garps face turns serious which makes all of his crew member stop laughing and start to wonder why did the Vice Amiral who they know very well doesn''t pretty much act serious ever actually become serious for once.


    Even more serious then when he is actually obeys orders. Garp: \" Oi Sage\" Sage hearing his grandfather call him turns to him and notices that he''s looking awfully serious. Sage: ''Wonder why he looks so serious.'' Sage: \" Whats up gramps\" Garp: \" Right now after you used that move it drained most of your stamina didn''t it.\" Sage: \" Yeah why\" Garp then disappears only to reappear again in the same spot with seastone cuffs. Sage: \" Uh Gramps why do you have cuffs.\" Garp then tosses the seastone cuffs to Sage who catches then not knowing what they are to suddenly fall on his knees and begins to feel very very week.


    Sage: \" What...the...hell...why...do...I...feel so... weak.\" Sage barely manages to speak when he realizes that he felt weak the moment he touched the cuffs, so he lets go and moves away from them. After moving away he begins to feel his strength slowly return, but he''s still feeling very weak. At least now he''s recovering though.''


    Garp: \" Those are cuffs made out of seastone. We use them on devil fruit users since devil fruit users become weak when in contact with seastone. From now on you will be wearing those cuffs until we get to Marine Fort. Once we get there we''ll have someone make a ring or something out of seastone since wearing cuffs are inconvenient, but you''ll have to make do for now.\"


    Sage: \" But..why gramps.. they make me.. feel really weak you know.\" Sage still struggles a bit since he''s still trying to recover his strength. Garp: \" Exactly, so you will use those cuffs while you are training. Not only will it make it much more difficult to train like you normally do, but it will help make sure that you don''t become over reliant on your logia body.\"


    Garp: : \"From now on in the the afternoon you will practice using observation haki while wearing those cuffs and a blindfold UNDERSTOOD.\" Sage wanted to protest, but he realizes that using seastone while training will not only increase the intensity of his training. It will also help him in increasing his stamina since he becomes weak while wearing seatone cuffs. If he is able to perform like he normally would without seastone cuffs then how much stronger and faster would he be without seastone cuffs on him.


    So with that Sage nods in agreement with what his grandfather said and puts on the seastone cuffs. He then begins to train, but you can already see how much the seastone cuffs are getting in his way. Sage doesn''t allow that to hold him back and pushes himself further while trying to use soro. The other Marines seeing the young boy despite using seastone cuffs and being super weak because of that feel invigorated and begin to do their own training.

 11 Chapter 11

    [3 weeks later]


    On the deck of a Marine battleship you can see a young boy trying to catch his breath and a man wearing a Marine coat watching the boy. Sage: \"(Huff)...(Huff) finally I managed to reach the beginner stage in Soro and Tekkai. Man that was way harder than I expected it to be.\" Bogard: \" Well what did you expect. You thought it was gonna be easy.


    Sage: \" No, it''s that I was able to make a lot more progress in the first week training Rokushiki, but after that it took me 2 weeks to reach the beginner stage in Soro and Tekkai.\" Bogard: \" It''s not because you were slower Sage, but because in that first week you weren''t wearing seastone cuffs and your right arm. In that first week you were spending pretty much every second of the day training Rokushiki, but after you put on the seastone cuffs it slowed down. Now do you know why that happened? \"


    Sage: \" Yeah it''s because seastone is a devil fruit user weakness. It causes to be unable to use their devil fruit powers and become extremely weak.\" Bogard: \" Yes exactly because you were weren''t wearing seastone cuffs in the first week of you training Rokushiki. It allowed you to use it more often meaning you were able to train it more, but after you put on those cuffs you became much weaker naturally reducing how much your body could actually wake from constant usage of Rokushiki and because of that it reduced how much time you spent using Rokushiki.\"


    Bogard: \" The fact that Garp also made you spend your afternoons training your observation haki meant that even though you spent a lot of time and effort training your Rokushiki.It wasn''t as much time you spent training in your first week. Either way you still managed in less than 2 months to reach the beginner level in 2 of the six powers. You shouldn''t be complaining so much.\" Sage: \" Yeah everything you said is true, but still I can''t help it.\"


    Bogard sighs seeing Sage being disappointed reaching the beginner stage in Soro and Tekkai in 4 weeks and just says, \" Sage go and wash yourself. We''ll be arriving to Marine Fort in a hour and a half, so go and prepare yourself.\" Sage: \" Alright then uncle Bogard. I''ll see you later.\" Sage then runs off into the his main cabin of the ship and walks into the bathing room. After half an hour he finishes and dresses himself and walks out of the main cabin.


    A Marine soldier then walks up to him and informs him that his grandfather is looks for him. Sage: \" Oh alright then, but where is he.\" Marine 1: \" He''s at the front of the deck right now.\" Sage: \" Oh alright then thanks for informing me goodbye.\" After bidding his farewells to the Marine soldier he walks to the front of the deck to see what his grandfather wants with him. Once he gets there you can see a tall man with a broad muscular frame sitting on the figurehead of the ship wearing a dog hat.


    Sage: \" Oi gramps a marine soldier told me you wanted to see me, so what do want.\" Garp hearing his grandson behind him stands up onto his feet and turns to face him. Garp: \" Bwhahah Bogard told me that you reached the beginner level in Soro and Tekkai this morning.\" Sage: \" Yeah I did\" Garp hearing his grandson say it then jumps off the figurehead and looks at his grandson. Garp looks Sage in the eyes and then rushes him out of nowhere.


    Sage seeing his grandfather rush at him isn''t even surprised since he''s been doing this ever since he started to train his observation haki rushes to meet him head on as well. They both throw a punch towards each other and their punches clash. Even though Sage can''t hold a candle to Garp when he fights seriously. He can handle him as long as Garp doesn''t use the full brunt of his strength. Sage can handle about 10% of Garps strength using his full power, but that''s not including Garp or Sage using Rokushiki. It''s both of them just using pure muscular power.


    After their fist clash the force of their fist send shock waves they both jump back a few meters before going at each other again except this time sending in more than just punches, but also kicks. After fighting for a minute straight against Garp using all the power he has in his body. Sage uses Soro and because he used it so suddenly he managed to land a hit on his face making Garp send out a fist of his own except with a little more powers which sent Sage flying backwards and rolling on the ground until his back hit a wall.


    Sage then stands up a little wobbly, but manages to regain his balance after a few seconds. Sage looks at his grandpa and says, \" Oi you stupid geezer why did you use so much strength in that punchand why did you aim it right at my face.\" Sage asks with a bit a bit of anger in his tone looking at Garp for a good answer. Garp seeing this doesn''t even care and begins to laugh. Sage seeing his grandfather not answering his question, but laughing instead grabs a random broom that was on the floor and throws it at Garp who dodges it while laughing.


    Garp: \"Bwhahahaha Sage you have become much stronger since you''ve left Dawn island. Before a punch of that strength would have knocked you out cold for at least an hour, but now it just makes you bit wobbly for a little while. Just what I would expect from my grandson Bwhahahaha.\" Even though he knows what his grandfather is speaking the truth he knows that he hit him that hard because he managed to land a hit on his face.


    Sage knows that if you were to compare the him of today to the one that was just leaving Dawn island the difference would be way to huge. Before he left Dawn island he couldn''t face Garp using more then 2% of his muscular strength while he used everything he had even his devil fruit powers. Now though he could make him use 10% of his power while he using most of his power. If he were to use everything he had including his devil fruit powers he could probably just match 20% of Garp''s power, but only for a little bit since he isn''t used to using his devil fruit and Rokushiki at the same time.


    He hasn''t practiced using his devil fruit all that much since Garp hasn''t allowed him to take off the cuffs without his permission. He took them off to face Garp, but even like that at best he could face Garp at 15% and fight evenly for a while before he lost because of him running out of stamina. Garp: \"Alright then brat now I wanted to tell you that after we dock at the port we will be going to see Sengoku and introduce you to him alright.\" Sage \" Alright but who''s this Sengoku guy.\"


    Garp: \" He''s the Fleet Admiral.\" Garp just says like it''s no big deal at all. Sage doesn''t care either since he has never been one to care about ranks or titles all that much. He the same as Garp in this sense. He doesn''t care who you are at all. You make him mad then he''ll make you par. If you become someone he cares about then he will gladly give his life to save yours. Both Sage and Garp are a lot alike, but they never really like to admit it for some reason,


    Sage: \" Alright then how much longer until we reach the port then\" Garp: \" Hmm I don''t know, Hey Bogard how much longer before we arrive\" Bogard: \" In about a hour or less we will arrive at Marine Fort.\" Sage: \" Alright then\" Sage then puts back on his seastone cuffs. Before he left Sage asks Garp about getting a ring made out of seastone since wearing cuffs isn''t kinda weird and might make people misunderstand some things.


    Garp: \" Yeah I planned on asking for a ring made out of seastone after we arrived to Marine Fort.\" Hearing his reply Sage nods and walks into his cabin to get some shut eye before arriving to Marine Fort.


    An hour later Sage wakes up when Garp was about to hit him, but missed since Sage woke up from his instincts feeling an attack coming at him and dodged it. Sage: \" Oi you old geezer what was that for\" Sage ask with annoyance in his voice from being forced to wake up. Garp: \" You wouldn''t wake up even after I yelled in your ear, so I had to change up my tactics. Either way come on let''s go.\" Sage just having woken up hadn''t realized that they had arrived to Marine Fort yet.


    Sage walks out of his cabin to see a large-fortress like building that bore a sign which contains the kanji for (Marines) with the MArines symbol between them. On top of this structure is a large, multi-story tower with mountains at each corner of the structure that each have a small building on top carrying the Marine flag. Sage: \" Wow this place looks awesome gramps.\" Garp smiles hearing his grandson talk about how amazing Marine fort is.


    Garp: \" I know now come on let''s head to the main building. That''s where Sengoku should be right now probably doing paperwork or something.\" Sage: \" Alright then, but gramps is Sengoku stronger than you?\" Sage ask Garo who just scoffs, \" Ha as if Sage do you really think that your Grandpa would be weaker than the Fleet Admiral.\" Sage: \" Well yeah isn''t that why he has the highest rank in the Marines.\" Bogard: \" Haha Sage Garp is stronger than the Fleet Admiral Sengoku, but not by much. You''re not wrong in thinking the higher the rank the stronger the person is, but not everyone achieved their rank by becoming stronger. Most achieve their rank based on their achievements while others use dirty means\"


    Sage: \" Oh alright then, so it''s not all about being strong then, but based on everything like your intelligence, ability to adapt to any situation, and more right.\" Bogard: \" Yup but it''s mostly about how strong you are and the achievement you get that determine your rank.\" Garp hearing this conversation just sticks his finger up his nose and starts to pick at it. Garp: \" Yeah yeah now come on Sage let''s go meet with Sengoku.\"


    Sage: \" Alright then Gramps bye uncle Bogard I''ll see you later.\" Bogard: \" Alright then Sage see you later.\" With that Garp and Sage start to walk towards the main building which isn''t all that hard to find since it''s the biggest building on the island.

 12 Chapter 12

    After walking for a while and getting some weird looks from some Marines that were training Sage and Garp arrived at the main building where Sage is supposed to meet Fleet Admiral Sengoku. They enter the building and Sage just follows Garp since he doesn''t know where Sengoku''s office is at. They stopped in front of two big doors.


    Sage: \" So is this Grandpa Sengoku''s office Gramps?\" Garp: \" Yup now let''s go in\" Garp doesn''t wait for Sage to reply to him and pushes the doors. In the room you can see a tall, fair-skinned, and muscular man with a long, braided goatee and a mustache. He wearing a Marine cloak with the kanji for \"Reigning Justice\" on his coak. The man looks up and immediately starts to yell, \" Garp where the hell have you been! You were supposed to arrive a week ago. What took you so long to get back and who''s this? \"


    Garp seeing his old friend yelling at him like always starts to laugh, \" Bwhahaha Sengoku why are so mad it''s not like you needed me to be here. \" Sengoku hearing Garps response gets even annoyed seeing his friends lack of respect and decorum. Sengoku: \" You were supposed to arrive at that time so you could escort a celestial dragon back to Marijoa and because you were late I had to find a last minute replacement.\"


    Garp responds by saying, \" Oi Sengoku you didn''t tell that I was supposed to escort a Celestial Dragon you know how much I hate them.\" Sengoku: \" That''s exactly why I didn''t tell because I knew that if I told you then you wouldn''t have come back, but you still got back here late.\" Garp : Bwhahaha now am happy that I decided to go back to my home island and stayed there for a bit or else I would have been stuck escorting those Celestial dragons.\"


    Sengoku: \" So you were late because you went and visited you home island (sigh) Garp why do you have to make my life so much harder than it has to be (sigh) Anyways who''s this little kid you brought with you.\" Garp: \" Oh this is my grandson. Go on Sage introduce yourself to Sengoku.\" Sage hearing his Grandfather speaks and says, \" Yo my name is Monkey D Sage am 11 years old. In a few months I''ll be turning 12 nice to meet you Grandpa Sengoku.


    Sengoku hearing what Garp just said yells once against him, \" GARP then that means he''s the son of Dr---\" Before he could finish what he''s about to say Garp interrupts him and says, \" Yes he is my grandson by blood and I brought him here because he''s here to become a Marine.\" Sengoku even though still being mad over the fact that Garp never told him that he had a Grandson calms himself down and ask, \" Then why is he wearing seastone cuffs on his right arm.\"


    Garp: \" That''s because he has Devil Fruit powers.\" Sengoku: \" I see, but it still doesn''t explain why he''s wearing them.\" Garp: \" That''s because he''s training using them. Oh also i need you to make a ring out of seastone since we were getting weird looks on the way here.\" Sengoku: \" Using seastone to train well that''s new. Sage for how long have you been wearing those cuffs for.\"


    Sage: \" I''ve been wearing them for 3 weeks.\" Sengoku was surprised since he''s only been wearing them for 3 weeks, but he''s already able to walk around while wearing seastone cuffs. Sengoku: (sight) '' Like Grandfather and Father. He''s also a monster of nature'' \" Alright then whats type of fruit did you eat Sage.\"


    Sage: \" Gramps said that I ate a logia water type devil fruit.\" If Sengoku''s head was already worn down from hearing that Garp had a biological grandson. Hearing that he had a water type devil fruit a logia one at that nearly made his head blow up. Sengoku: \" WHAT Garp is it true.\" Garp nods towards Sengoku telling him it is true.


    Sengoku: \" So not only is he that man''s son, but he also has a logia water type devil fruit (sigh)\" ''At least he''s following in Garp''s footsteps instead of his fathers.'' Garp: \" I came here so that you could know about Sage. He''s going to be with me wherever I go, so while I stay on Marine Fort he will be with me and when i go out to sea he will also be going with me.\"


    Sengoku sighs knowing full well that even if he wanted to have people monitor the boy in case he shows any signs of wanting to become a pirate, so that he wouldn''t have another person with the potential to become a Yonko level problem. He wouldn''t be able to since Garp would not allow that to happen. That''s why he specifically said that the boy will be staying with him wherever he goes. With that he just said, \" Fine do what you want. Not like you would have listened to me other wise.


    Garp: \" Bwhahaha that''s true. Now come on Sage say goodbye and let''s go to our home.\" Sage: \" Alright then goodbye Grandpa Sen.\" With that Garp and Sage leave Sengoku''s office and head off towards their new home on Marine Fort. Sengoku: '' Now how am I going to explain this'' (sigh) While Sengoku is suffering the negatives of being a Fleet Admiral. Let''s go to Sage and Garp who have Already arrived to their new home.


    [I don''t know how to describe a Japanese style home so am gonna try my best.]


    The house was fairly big. It could fit around 25 people easily. It have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a 2 kitchens that each contain a gigantic fridge, a living room, a large training year in the back, and also a Sauna. Sage: \" Wow this place is huge. It''s definitely much better than the treehouse me and the others made.\" Garp: \" Of course it is. It wasn''t made by kids, but people who knew how to build. Now come on let''s go inside and I''ll show you where your bedroom is.\"


    They both walk in and inside see a old women sitting down drinking something that''s either tea or coffee. The women turns around after hearing the door open and says, \" Finally your here Garp. What made you take so long and who''s this kid next to you.\" Garp recognizing the person sitting on his couch says, \" Tsuru what are you doing here.\" Garp was a bit nervous speaking to her surprising Sage since he has never seen his grandfather ever be nervous. Sage: '' Who is this old lady that even made gramps nervous.


    Sage puts up his guard thinking she might or might not be a enemy he and his grandfather might need to fight. Tsuru: \" You still haven''t answered my question Garp\" Tsuru reminds Garp. Garp: \" Oh that''s because i was visiting my Grandson who i brought with me. This is him, Sage introduce yourself.\" Sage hearing his grandfather begins to introduce himself, but still keeps his guard up just in case. Sage: \" Hi my names Monkey D. Sage\"


    Tsuru: \" Oh your grandson. You never told me you had one. You do realize the problem with this right.\" Garp: \" Yes and I have already informed Sengoku about Sage already and Sage will be staying with me from now on no matter where I go.\" Tsuru: \" Alright then\" Tsuru stands up and walks up to Sage. Seeing her move towards him Sage gets ready for a fight even though it seems that his grandfather seems to know this women he''s still feels somethings off.


    Tsuru: \" He has good instincts like you and his father Garp. Hi Sage nice to meet you my names Tsuru am a Vice Admiral like your fool of a grandfather here. You don''t have to be so tense around me just call me Tsuru-san if you want.\" After confirming she had no ill-intentions towards him he speaks and says, \" Grandma-Tsuru sounds better since your as old as gramps.\" Garp just sighs the moment he heard Sage mention age. You must never say that a women is old even if she obviously is.


    After hearing what Sage said a vein pops out on Tsuru''s forehead and goes to smack him on the head. Sage using his observation haki sees it coming and uses Soro to move back. Tsuru seeing Sage not only use Observation haki, but also Soro surprised her. Tsuru: \" Well Garp it seems that you have a monster for a grandson. To be so young and have not only haki, but to also be able to use Soro at the beginner level (sigh)\" Garp: \" Bwhahaha it''s exactly what you would expect from my grandson. Now tell Tsuru what is it your doing in my home.\"


    Tsuru: \" I heard that you had finally got back after being a week late and wanted to ask why you were late, but now that I know I will be heading off now Goodbye Garp Bye Sage-chan.\" Garp hearing Tsuru use chan at the end of Sage''s name burst out laughing. Sage: \" Oi do not use chan at the end of my name you ol--\" Before he could finish Garp covers his mouth. Tsuru just kept on walking like if she heard nothing.

 13 Chapter 13

    [ 3 Years Later]


    Standing the in the middle of a group of pirates. Swords drawn against him stands a a young man looking relaxed as if their wasn''t a group of 20 pirates surrounding him with swords and guns ready to kill him. You would think that the pirates would be confident in killing the young man, but you can see that the pirates are shaking barely able to hold their weapons up with fearful expression. After a full minute of silence and no one moving. A pirate fires his pistol at the young man.


    The young man simply tilts his head to the side resulting in the bullet missing just by a bit. After that the rest of the pirates move in to attack. The young man seeing this doesn''t move, but stays in the same spot he''s in without caring what''s about to happen. The pirates that have guns open fire on the young man only for it to miss and hit their allies instead. The pirates who got shot curse and scream because of the pain from getting shot.


    Seeing that guns won''t work the pirates start to use their swords or whatever other weapon they have. One pirate goes up to the young man and begins to attack him, but the young man doesn''t move a single step and just dodges from that same position only moving his upper body. After seeing that he couldn''t hit the young man another pirate joins in only for the same result to happen.


    Then all hell breaks loose and every single one of the 20 pirates go at the young man with weapons drawn and attempt to hit him. When their attacks were about to land on the young man''s body they out of nowhere miss and the pirates end up falling onto the floor unconscious. The young man just (sighs) seeing the pirates fall and goes to another ship that was texted to the pirate ship he was on.


    You can hear a person laughing while the young man is boarding the huge ship. Garp: \" Bwhahaha it seems your still not able to fully control your Conquers haki Sage. You knocked out some of the Marines on board my ship.\" The young man now being identified as Sage just (Sighs) and says, \" Haha sorry about that gramps.\" Garp: \" Bwhahaha don''t worry about it Sage. You will learn to control it with time. You unlocked it only a year ago and the fact that your able to control and use it most of the time is a good thing.\"


    Garp then turns around and orders some of the Marines to go and tie up the pirates that Sage beat. Garp: \" In a month your going to be 15 you know. \" Sage: \" Yup, after that I can finally join the Marines. Hey do you think Grandpa-Sen will make me start off at a low rank.\" Garp: \" Bwhahaha you don''t have to worry about your rank Sage. Your strength is already enough to make you a Vice Admiral, but the only reason you can''t be one is because you don''t have enough experience leading others. After your a Marine for a year or 2 Sengoku will most likely make you a Vice Admiral.\"


    Sage: \" Yeah, as long as I don''t have to work on some else''s ship any rank is fine for me. Anyways I''ll talk to you later gramps am going to go train.\" Garp: \" You know that you could relax a bit. You just finished fighting more than 200 pirates on your own. Rest up a little and then go train.\" Sage just waves him off and says, \" Na am good gramps. Those pirates were only good enough for a warm up. Talk to you later. \" With that Sage walks off leaving behind a (Sighing) Garp. Garp: '' Ever since I told him about what happened to Sabo. He never gives himself a break to enjoy life and relax. He blames himself for it even if it''s something he could do nothing about.''


    [1 month later]


    Currently in Sengoku''s office you can see 4 people inside. Three men and a woman. Inside the office are Sengoku, Garp, Tsuru, and Sage. Sengoku: \" Now Sage since you just turned 15 that means that you can officially join the Marines.\"


    [ Let''s say that Sage swore an oath about upholding the law and punishing criminals and pirates etc]


    Sengoku then hands Sage a cloak with the kanji for \"Moral Justice\" on the back of it. Sengoku: \" From now on you will be a Captain in the Marines. Before you say anything about how you should have a higher rank. I can''t do that because of the higher-ups Sage, so sorry about that.\" Sage looks at the cloak for a little bit before flipping it onto his back and wearing it how his grandfathers and grandma wear theirs. Wearing it on there back without putting his arms into the sleeves and just having it on his back.


    Sage satisfied turns and looks and Sengoku and says, \" Come on Grandpa-Sen you know I don''t care what my rank is as long as I get to have my own ship, so don''t worry about it. The higher ranked I am the more responsibilities I will have, so honestly I don''t mind.\" Sengoku: \" I know you don''t,but still just wanted to tell you now your ship is still being made, but your crew has already been chosen. Your ship will be ready in about a week, so for now do what you want and once your ship is ready I''ll give you your first orders alright.\"


    Sage: \" Fine be me Grandpa-Sen. I''ll talk to you later alright.\" Sengoku: \" That''s fine goodbye Sage goodbye Garp and Tsuru stay I need to talk to you.\" Sage: \" OH I almost forgot. Grandpa-Sen I got a favor to ask.\" Sengoku: \" What is it? \" Sage: Can I choose my own partner plz.\" Sengoku: \" (sigh) Fine do you have someone in mind.\" Sage: \" Nope, but once I find someone I''ll tell now see you later.\"


    With that Sage left the office alongside Garp. Sengoku yells out to him, \" fine, but you better hurry up and find someone.\"


    [Let''s act like Garp and Tsuru congratulated Sage already and skip a week]


    Sage is walking towards the port after receiving order from Sengoku to head into the north blue and make check-ups on the Marine outpost there. After that he is to go towards and enter paradise and while there to prevent any pirates from passing through his sector. He is to stay there until he receives further orders. Very simple orders for Sage, but he annoyed about the fact that he had to go and check up on all the Marine outpost in the North blue. He knew that he was pretty much not gonna get to fight at all until he got to Paradise and even there he might not get to fight if the pirates passing there are not strong enough.


    He made up his mind to not interfere in the battles against pirates that his crew could handle. Of course he would make sure that no one would die, but he wouldn''t tell them that. He wanted to make sure that his crew was going to become powerful as well, so that if he was not with them when they are facing off against another crew that is powerful then they won''t be helpless against them. That''s why he wasn''t gonna be going easy on them when he begins their training.


    After walking for a few minutes and greeting people along the way Sage arrived at the port. He was told that his ship was at docking bay 6. When he got there he saw a battleship class ship.

 14 Chapter 14

    The battleship had a Direwolf as the figurehead. [Search up the Starks Sigil from Game of Thrones] The ships colors were that of the normal Marine Vessels except the blue was more brighter making it stand out more. The Sails color''s were also changed to have a bluish color, but it was still mainly white with the Marine Logo on it. The crows nest had a wolf''s den theme.


    Sage used the Direwolf as his figurehead because of the fact that the men and women on this ship will be serving with him for a long time. The Direwolf represents him and every wolf has a pack. The members of his ship are apart of that pack unless they leave his ship and join another. Since they are members of his pack he won''t let them die, so because of that he will train them hard. Hard enough so that even if they encountered a powerful pirate they will at least be able to defend themselves until he was able to arrive and assist them.


    His family is also apart of his pack. Ace, Garp, Luffy, and Sabo. When Sage first learned that Sabo was killed by a Celestial Dragon when Garp came back from visiting Dawn island. He wouldn''t believe if it and kept on screaming and screaming until he lost control. That''s how he ended up awakening his conqueror''s haki. After that day Sage dedicated himself to training everyday to become strong enough, so that one day he could avenge Sabo. He tried to get Garp to tell who did it, but Garp wouldn''t tell him so he would have to go back to the East blue to look for clues.


    Sage tears up a bit thinking about how Sabo died and said in his mind, \" Sabo I swear that one day I will avenge you. Even if it means that I will end up dying. I won''t give up until the person who killed you has left this world.'' After that Sage boards his ship and when one of the Marines notices Sage with his Captains cloak on he yells out, \" Captain on board. Line up. SALUTE!!!\"


    Sage looks at the Marines standing before him to evaluate how he would start their training. The Marines for some reason when they felt his eyes going over them had a bad feeling, but they didn''t know why. Sage then asked the Marine who informed everyone of his arrival, \" Marine what''s your name and rank.\" The Marine while Saluting with his back straight and other arm behind his back replies with, \" Captain my name is Elliot. My rank is Lieutenant Commander Captain.\"


    Sage: \" Alright then Elliot no need to be so uptight with formalities. Who''s the highest among you guys.\" Elliot then responds once again, \" Captain I am the highest ranking officer after you sir.\" Sage: \" Alright then Elliot stand off to my left side.\" Elliot: \" Yes Captain.\" Sage then yells out, \" My name is Sage and I am the Captain of this vessel. Some of you might not be happy about it since I am the youngest person on this ship, so if any of you have any complaints about it now is the time to speak them out.


    Nobody from among the Marines spoke out because they knew that even though the man standing in front of them was really young. They already knew who he was because they have heard other Captain and higher ranked officers talk about him and his strength, so no one had any complaints to voice. Sage seeing nobody talk nods and his head and resumes speaking, \" Our orders from HQ is to head into the North Blue.\"


    Hearing the orders that HQ had sent for them. Some of the more younger Marines were a bit scared because to go the North blue would mean that they would have to enter the New World. Even though it would only be for a short amount of time. The New world is known as \"Pirates Graveyard\" because it is a dangerous, chaotic, and has unpredictable climates as well as wildlife. The older Marines who had more experience then the younger ones were only a tad bit nervous since they knew that they wouldn''t have been sent into the New World unless HQ was confident in the young captain in front of them.


    Sage then said, \" Once we have pass the New World and entered the North Blue. Our mission in the North Blue to run checks on every Marine outpost in the North Blue and after that we are to head back to Paradise and await further orders. Does everyone understand out orders.\" None of the Marines said anything and so Sage then ask Elliot, \" Elliot have all preparations been finished\" Elliot responds with, \" Captain Sage all preparation have already been finished. We only need your order and we can begin to set sail towards the North Blue.\"


    Sage nods his head and turns to the crowd of Marines and shouts, \" Then set the sails and raise the anchor. Set course for the North Blue.\" The Marines then shouted in unison, \" SIR YES SIR\" With that Sage''s journey has finally begun.


    The following day Sage took off his his seastone ring and takes in a full breath of air. Sage then gathers water from the moisture in the air and makes bucket sized water orb. He does this using the mosturie that is next to everyone of the Marines on board the ship that are currently sleeping. He then drops it on their faces waking them up and putting all of them on alert. Sage then uses the water to form the words, \" To the main deck you got 2 minutes to get there.\"


    Sage dresses himself and appears on the main deck while waiting for Marines to get here. Elliot was the first to arrive after 5 seconds and 20 seconds later the next Marine showed up. [7 minutes later] Every Marine arrived on the main deck with their uniforms in a mess and not in a neat fashion. 3/5 of the Marines took longer than 2 minutes to arrive on the maine deck. Sage seeing this knew that he was gonna have to put them threw some hell so that they could reach his standard that he needs them to be at.


    Sage then spoke, \" I gave you guys 2 minutes to get ready and to get to the Maine Deck. It seems that for you guys to get up to standard am going to have to put you guys into some light training. From now on every morning you guys will have 1 minute to get ready and report to the Main deck. All of you guys will be practicing the six powers every morning and will keep going until you drop unto the ground and can''t move anymore. You will do this in the afternoon and before you guys go to sleep. UNDERSTOOD\"


    All the Marines wanted to complain, but only one of them actually raised their hand. The other Marines looked at the person who raised their hand. Sage looks at him as well and was surprised that it was Elliot. Sage: \" What is it Elliot. Are you going to complain that it cruel and unjust for me to make you guys do this.\" Sage ask Elliot who responds with, \" No Captain Sage. I only wanted to ask if you really do mean all us. If so then who''s gonna control the ship if all of us are training.\"


    Hearing Elliots question the other Marines looked at Sage to see his answer hoping that whoever was going to be sailing the ship would be them, but his response crushed their hopes. Sage: \" Don''t worry about sailing the ship. I will use my Devil Fruit power to do that, so you guys can focus on training. Any other questions? \" After that no Marine raised their hand and Sage nodded his head and told them, \" Alright then, begin your training and if I notice anyone relaxing then that person won''t get to have dinner. Don''t try to be sneaky about it cause trust me I will know.\"


    With that all the Marines began their training even though they didn''t want to. Sage: '' Normally it would take about 3 days to arrive in the New World and then a week and a half to arrive in the North Blue, but if I use my Devil fruit at it''s best then I should be able to cut the journey into 5 days. Alright then I will do that and also join the others in training with them.\" That''s how Sage spent his time on the ship until they arrived to the first Marine outpost in the North Blue.


    For the first three days some of the younger and older Marines tried to slack off on their training, but were quickly caught by Sage and Elliot who was helping Sage out. When he caught them he not only made them not have dinner, but also made them train while the others would be eating their dinner. This quickly made the other Marines happy that they didn''t slack off on their own training or else they would have suffered the consequences.


    With that after using his Devil Fruit to make the battleship go faster he arrived at the North Blue in 4 days. Faster than he expected, but that was fine and so it took Sage only a few hours before he and his crew arrived at the first outpost. What greeted him was a sight that no matter what he hated seeing more than anything in the world. Slaves


    Sage saw on the Marine outpost dozens of slaves wearing collars while wearing chains on their hands and feet. What was worse was that it was only women. Sage didn''t see a noble or Celestial Dragon around the area which meant that the Marines on this base were enslaving the people of the island they were meant to guard. This only went to further anger Sage.


    The other Marines on board Sage''s ship didn''t know why, but they saw that their Captain was angry. This was the first time they ever saw him mad not to mention he looked really really angry. Then it started to rain lightly, but it quickly changed into a huge rainfall. None of the Marines knew why he was angry and they were to scared to ask, but Elliot knew that Sage wouldn''t get angry especially this angry and lose control over his devil fruit powers for no reason so he asked, \" Captain Sage what happened? \"


    Sage then responded with a dark shadow over his eyes and in a deep angry voice, \" Prepare to dock and grab your weapons.\" Elliot was surprised that Sage asked them to grab their weapons when they were going to dock on a friendly island, but he was in no place to question Sage since he was a higher rank than him. Elliot looked towards the other Marines and said, \" You heard the Captain prepare to dock and grab your weapons.\"


    [ If your wondering how Sage saw what was happening on the island even though he was still out on sea and not on the island then it''s because he used his observation haki and concentrated on looking straight in front of him instead of an area. This increased the range at which he could look at.]

 15 Chapter 15

    ''After the ship had docked on the port of a large Village on the island. I looked towards my Marines and told them,'' \" I want you guys to split into groups of 20 and hunt down any and all Marines that belong to this island. Elliot I want you to gather 200 men and women and meet me at the base. I want you there in 10 minutes tops. Does everyone understand their orders!!!\" ''I saw that they all nodded their heads and then disappeared.''


    It took Sage less than a minute to arrival on the Marine outpost. Even though he had sensed what was happening. Seeing it person made it even harder for him to not let loose and kill every single Marine on this island. He stopped myself from doing that knowing that their was chance that the lower ranked Marines were forced to stay silent and follow orders by Blade the commander of this outpost.


    In front of Sage were a dozen women barely clothed in chains being guarded by 20 men.'' Marine 1: Man why do we have to move these bitches out of the base.\" Marine 2: \" I overheard the Captain saying that Marine HQ was sending over a Captain to check up on the Marine bases in the North Blue.\" Marine 5: \" Yeah if we were to get caught then we would all end up being killed.\"


    Marine 1: \" Yeah I guess so\" Marine 1''s mouth then turns into a hideous smirk. Marine 1: \" How bout we have some fun with these girls. I call the one with the big ass and boobs\" Marine 3: \" Hey no fair I wanted to have some fun with her you ass\" Marine 4 was about to speak and say something, but before he could his body fell missing it''s head.


    The other 19 Marines saw what happened to their friend and instantly flew into a panic while yelling out, \" Whos there come out or else we''ll kill you you bastard\" Just as the Marine finished speaking his piece his head also fell off of his body. After seeing another one of their comrades killed the others started to shake and feel fear. They felt as if they were being watched by a predator and they were its prey.


    After those pigs finished talking Sage started to kill them off one by one. He wanted to make them feel fear as they died for what they had done to these innocent women. When he was about to kill the last one. The man used a smoke signal which was used to request for backup. After he sent out the signal Sage sliced him in half using a pressurized water blade and looked towards the women.


    When the women noticed Sage''s gaze they shivered in fear. Seeing innocent women shiver in fear just because he looked at them made him even angrier. Sahe told them that he was here to help and proceeded to use his devil fruit to slice their chains since it wasn''t a good idea to approach them. Surprisingly one of the women actually began to walk towards Sage''s direction. When she stopped she was right in front of him with water in her eyes. She then slapped him really hard.


    Sage could have just made it go through his body, but he knew that he shouldn''t do that. He just let her vent all of the anger she had on himself, while just standing there not even looking her in the eyes, but into the ground. She was yelling out, \" WHY...WHY... I thought that Marines were supposed to protect us. WHY did you kidnap us from out home and and **** us. WHY\" After the she finished hitting Sage she fell onto her butt onto the ground.''


    Sage then went onto his knees and bowed to the women. He said, \" I am so sorry. I know that my apology isn''t going to make the things that happened to you disappear, but I promise that any Marine that had any hand on what happened to the people of this island will not escape Justice. I will make sure they receive what they deserve.\" Sage stood up and told them, \" Marines from my ship will be coming here soon. If you want to meet up with them then move down south and you will meet. Tell them that Captain Monkey D. Sage sent you and they will take care of you.\"


    The women then began to move down south to meet up with the Marines from Sage''s ship. They choose to trust him even with the trauma they will have against Marines. Two of the women picked up the one that was on the floor and helped her stand up. After the women were a safe distance away Sage began to move more into the outpost, but it didn''t take long for him to meet the man he was looking for.


    Sage''s observation haki was more then enough to cover the entire island since it was only a Medium sized island. With this Sage realized that all the Marines that were currently in the outpost were in the Main training yard gathering up and preparing to move towards the smoke signal they had seen. Sage disappeared and reappeared behind them.


    The Marines noticed Sage and knew instantly from his uniform that he was either a Captain or higher. They then proceeded to move and surround Sage and aim their rifies towards him. The Marines had put one and one together and believed that Sage was most likely behind the reason for the smoke signal.


    Their were over 300 Marines surrounding Sage and aiming their weapons at him. They were all nervous since the young man standing in front of them was most likely the person Marine HQ had sent over to the North Blue to check up on the Marine outposts. Since he had attacked Marines that were on this outpost meant that he knew what was really going on in this outpost. Most of the Marines on this Outpost had committed some type of crime against the people of this island.


    They knew that once Marine HQ found out what was going on in this island that most likely none of them would come out alive for the things they had done.


    Sage gazed around looking at the Marines before him that would abuse their power for their own selfish purposes. He had been keeping his anger in control since he didn''t want to accidentally hurt of the women since he still didn''t have full control over his Conqueror''s Haki, but now he let it loose unto to these dogs.


    Each one of the Marines surrounding Sage fell onto the ground with their eyes rolling into their heads and with foam coming out of their mouths. Sage then walked into the outpost and moved in the direction of where he saw people still inside of the outpost. The one responsible for all this Captain Blade was most likely among them. It took Sage less than a second to arrive at his location.


    Sage pushed the doors using little strength, but ended up knocking the door off their hinges even though he tried not to do that. What greeted him was the sight of a man about to **** a young girl who looked no older than twenty with her arms and legs chained to the bed.


    Before Blade even knew what was happening Sage moved at speeds the naked eye couldn''t track and grabbed Blade by the throat. He then threw the bastard straight out of the base through a the wall.


    Sage then moved towards the girl who had tears forming in her eyes. Sage broke the chains holding the young girl down before speaking, \" I am so sorry for the things that you have seen. I will take care of that bastard and make sure that Justice is delivered. It will only take me a minute, so if you want you can wait here and I will come back for you if that is something you would want me to do.\" Sage looked towards the young girl who was covering her body using his cloak he had given her. She nodded her head and with that Sage went through the same wall he had thrown Blade through.


    Blade was on the floor bleeding bad with quite a few broken bones. Sage had thrown him off of the top floor of the outpost. When Sage had landed he landed right on top of Blade making the latter spit out blood. Blade then spoke with fear in his voice, \" Cap-- Captain Sage plz forgive me for what I have done. If you spare me I swear to never do this sort of thing never again, or if you want I will serve you and do anything you command me to do.\"


    Sage then responded with, \" Oh so you will do anything I say.\" Hearing what Sage said, Blade began to see a glimmer of hope and said, \" Yes Yes anything you say I will do without hesitation.\" Sage smiled and said, \" Then die\"


    Sage jumped back up to escort the young woman safely back to her home village. He took her into his arms and jumped back through the wall he had just came through. When he landed he covered the young girls eye since he had really done a number on Blade''s body.


    Sage had already sensed that Elliot was about to arrive with the rest of the Marines that he had ordered him to being over to the Marine outpost. Sage gave the Young girl over to a female Marine, but the young girl had no cloth so Sage let her keep his Captain''s cloak.


    Sage said, \" Elliot go to the Marine Court yard and cuff every single of the people there. Put them in the cells in the ship. I want this done as soon as possible. I want to catch every Marine outpost off guard to make sure they are not abusing their power.\" Elliot responded with, \" Understood Captain Sage.\" He turned around and then told his fellow Marines, \" WELL YOU HEARD THE CAPTAIN HE WANTS US READY TO SAIL BY THE END OF THE DAY, SO GET YOU ASSES MOVING\"

 16 Chapter 16

    After waiting for around 2 hours most of the Marines on Jukko island had been arrested and put into the cells of Sage''s ship. While waiting for those 2 hours Elliot had taken the initiative to have the ship''s supplies restocked and prepared to sail.


    He had not only saved them from their lives as slaves, but had also gone on to ensure that any and all Marines on Jakko island that had been involved with what Blade had done was captured and put into the cells in Sage''s ship. He had also used some type of healing ability to heal them and took away the scars that had been all over their bodies.


    Each one of them thanked Sage from the bottom of their hearts after he left them in the arms of their family who after cried tears of joy when they saw their family member safe and well after disappearing for so long. They had long since lost hope of being able to get them back since they were just normal islanders and couldn''t do anything against the Marines of the island even if they were part of the weakest of Marines.


    So they immediately began preparations for a feast that their island has never seen the likes of. They had invited Sage and his Marines, but Sage denied since he wanted to leave the island as soon as possible to try and catch the other Marine outpost off guard and ensure that they were upholding Justice and not abusing their power instead.


    It took awhile for the villagers to accept it since they really wanted to thank Sage and his Marine because if it weren''t for them then they would still be under the tyranny of the corrupt Marines that were meant to protect them.


    But before Sage could leave the women each gave Sage their thanks while some of them even gave Sage a kiss on the cheek. Sage of course blushed from embarrassment since he wasn''t expecting to get kissed on the cheek from different women. He was still young and never really had much experience with the opposite sex.


    With that Sage left and contacted Sengoku informing him of the details and thinks that had happened on with the Marine outpost on Jukko island. Sufficient to say Sengoku was angry. Sengoku may listen to the World Government unlike Garp who tends to ignore their orders he still had his morals and would always try his best to protect citizens.


    Sage told him that he had already dealt with the corrupt Marine of Jukko island, but also told him that they were going to send a new Captain to command the outpost on Jukko island as well as send in a new batch of Marines to the island since a lot of them were apart of the evil doings that Blade had done.


    Sengoku said he would have it done and immediately ordered Sage to check up on the other Marine outpost and that he was given full authority to pretty much do what he wanted against any corrupt Marines he may find on the other islands where the Marine outpost were located.


    This went to show the trust that Sengoku had in his the boy he now pretty much considers his grandson. He knew that Sage wouldn''t abuse his authority and fully trusted him to carry out his orders. Sage then said his goodbye to Sengoku and went back to his ship.


    When he arrived he found that his crew was fully ready to set sail with Elliot at the front of them. He nodded his head towards them before ordering that they board and set sail for the next island that had a Marine outpost on it.


    It took them less than a day to arrive to the next island that had a Marine outpost. The moment it entered Sage''s range he instantly found the Marine outpost of the island and sensed around it looking for anything that may be out of place or suspicious.


    To his relief is seemed that this outpost was doing it''s job, but Sage couldn''t be certain until he got on to the island himself and let loose his observation haki to sense around the entire island. This time they docked on the Marine''s outpost dock/port.


    The Marines on the outpost were surprised to see a battleship dock at the port. Though the more higher ranked Marines on the outpost got over quickly since they were made aware of it coming, but they were expecting the ship to arrive a few days later.


    The younger Marines were mesmerized seeing the huge ship that had just docked in the port. A lot of them wished they could could command their own ship like that. One of the older Marines left the port and went towards the Main building to inform the Captain that the inspector from Marine HQ has arrived.


    After the ship docked Sage told Elliot and the rest of the Marines on his ship that they can relax while they are here, but to stay near by the outpost since they won''t be staying long.


    When Sage said that the Marines weren''t sure if they heard him right. Sage had long since become known as a training manic. Whenever you would see Sage you could always see him doing some form of training. He would train his Rokushiki, Haki, and devil fruit. Even though this had inspired them to train themselves harder, it still surprised them just how much he trained for.


    While they were thinking about what they could do with their short vacation they had gotten from Sage. Sage himself was using his observation Haki to sense what was happening around the island. He found a couple of Marines who were acting suspicious, but only kept an eye on them to find out what they were doing and left to find the Captain of the outpost.


    The Captain of the base John was just informed by one of his subordinates that the inspector from Marine HQ had just arrived. He was shocked since he was expecting him to arrive a few days later, but left to go meet the inspector. He was surprised to see such a young man walking off the ship wearing a Captains cloak.


    Sage only had a quick chat with John before he left and disappeared into thin air. John was shocked to see Sage move at so fast that he couldn''t see Sage''s movements.


    Sage was originally gonna chat with John. He noticed that the few suspicious Marines he had been keeping an eye on disappeared out of nowhere. Now this was a shocker because this had never happened to Sage before. Sage instantly picked up speed and arrived at the location he had last sensed the Marines.


    He looked around looking for clues he might be able to find. It took him a few minutes to find a few set of footprints on the floor. Sage quickly followed them until he arrived to a cave which he did not sense when he tried to use his haki to try and find out what''s inside the cave.


    Sage used his devil fruit powers to send a message to Elliot before going into the Cave on his own to check it out and find out the reason why he didn''t sense this cave even when he tried to focus his observation Haki on it. The cave was dark and since he couldn''t use his observation haki to sense his surroundings.


    Sage used the water vapour that was in the air to guide him around the cave. Sage felt like he was traveling for hours before he finally stumbled upon a sight that stunned him.


    Inside the cave were a group of more than 1000 men and women. Inside the cave there were three ships that were a little smaller then his own ship. They were flying a jolly rodger which signified their status as pirates.

 17 Chapter 17

    Sage kept on trying to use his observation Haki to sense exactly how many pirates their were, but for some reason it wasn''t working and that was really bothering him.


    Sage gave up on trying to use his Haki since he could use still use the moisture to feel his surrounding, but he could only make faint outlines of where the pirates were located. Sage then moved and began to head towards the biggest ship which was only a bit smaller than his own.


    After sneaking on board he began to listen in onto the conversations some of the pirates that were standing on guard were having. Pirate 1: \"Oi did you hear that someone came into the cave?\" Pirate 2: \"Yeah I think it was Harry, Terry, and Larry.\" Pirate 1: \" But weren''t they supposed to stay in the Marine outpost? \" Pirate 2 : \" You and your dumb questions. How do you think I would know they just came back and went straight to the Captain, so I got no clue why their back.\"


    Sage kept on listening onto the conversation between the two pirates until he heard someone yell from inside the ship. ???: \"What!!! What do you mean the inspector from Marineford has already arrived? You told me he was to arrive in at least a few more days.\" After the angry shouts finished another person answered his question with a shaky voice clearly fearful of the man who just shouted at him.


    ???: \"We--Well Captain that''s how it was supposed to be, but it seems that the inspector arrived faster for some reason.\" Another man began to talk after the other one finished except his wasn''t shaky or scared. ???: Captain Jack we also got another problem. The inspector''s ship is a Custom Battleship class.\"


    The man now identified as Captain Jack then responded, :\" Even worse that means that their are now an additional 1000 men we have to account for. The inspector also has a Custom Battleship. That either means he has the power or connections to get himself one of those. How long will they be staying before they leave Terry.\"


    Terry: \" Usually when a inspector comes they only stay for about 2 days before they set sail to check up on the other bases.\" Jack: \" Hmm then we wait it out. We''ve already spent more than a year sailing this sea. It''s about time I get myself some territory to rule, so waiting a few days is no biggy.\"


    While they were talking about taking over the island Sage had moved around and scouted each of the 3 ships. Each ship contained around at least 200 men and women while the Main ship where the Captain of this Pirate group Jack had 500.


    Sage took his time to check out the ships for any things that may be hidden. This would have been done instantly if Sage could use his Observation Haki, but sadly he couldn''t. After checking each and every ship Sage began to move back towards the entrance of the cave to meet up with his backup.


    After arriving back out he meet up with Elliot and his crew alongside John and his Marines. When John saw Sage he immediately went over and asked him why he had sent a call for backup. Sage then informed him on what he had seen and heard while inside the cave.


    Thankfully with the amount of men and women they already had gathered at the entrance of the cave they were mostly ready for a fight. They spent around half an hour planning their move based on the info Sage had given them. Sage alongside John and Elliot led them into the cave while telling them to be careful.


    The Marines had gotten the drop on the pirates who were completely unprepared for an ambush. Sage, John, Elliot, and the other higher ranked Marines charged into the battle and killing or knocking out any pirates in their way.


    John was using Rokushiki as well as a sword and flintlock to battle his opponents. Sage judged him to be pretty strong for a Marine that was trained in a Blue sea. Elliot was using two swords while using Rokushiki.


    Elliot was doing a very good job in taking out the pirates with great speed. His count was already higher then Johns, but that was to be expected even though he''s of a lower rank then John. He was trained in Marineford unlike John who was trained in the North Blue.


    Even though Sage had already spent time with Elliot this was probably the first time he had seen him fight. Sage had pretty good judgement when it came down to judging someone''s combat ability. Elliot''s combat ability was enough for him to fight against Captains that were trained in the blues.


    After around a minute the battle had really started going after trio of Arry''s finally came out alongside Jack.


    Currently Jack was fuming with anger since everything he had planned for Topo island had just gone under the sea. He turned to look at the trio standing with him and asked with a very very angry tone, \" How could you let someone follow you back you fucking Morons!!!\"


    Larry the one who was shaking even more so when he told Jack about the early arrival of the inspector was about to pass out after Jack had screamed in his face. Terry was about to speak when he out of nowhere a hole where his heart is supposed to be appeared.


    Jack: \" You bastard am going to kill you for what you have done.\" Jack rushed at Sage head on swinging his Katana at him. Even though Sage could still dodge even though he couldn''t use observation haki decided not to bother and let the man hit him.


    Jack seeing that Sage wasn''t even trying to dodge got angry thinking that Sage was mocking him. When the Blade hit Sage''s shoulder it went from there all the way across his body pretty much slicing him in half.


    Jack was grinning at his success, but that grin quickly changed towards horror when he looked up to see Sage''s body not split from his shoulder to his ribs, but it was actually water instead of blood. Jack was horrified that he started to back up from Sage while shaking in fear while thinking, ''What the hell is he. I know that I hit him I know that I did, so how come he''s still alive.''


    Sage told him what were inside the three ships and told him that he would be setting sail since he has already finished his inspection of the outpost. Sage also told him he passed, but that he should keep a better watch on who he lets join the Marines or else this might end up repeating once again.


    With that Sage left and went into his cabin on his ship while he waits for the rest of his crew to finish and get back from their recent battle.

 18 Chapter 18

    After waiting for about an hour Elliot and the crew had finally gotten back from the cave. Sage let them rest for about an hour before giving the order to set sail for the next outpost.


    It took a month for Sage to finish his inspection on the North Blue Marine outpost. Most of the outpost were doing their job and upholding justice in the North blue, but Sage still across a couple of outpost that were abusing their power over the area they were supposed to be guarding.


    Sage took care of those in the same manner he did with the outpost on Jukko island. Killing the ones in charge while arresting the underlings and taking them onto his ship before leaving them in the cells of the next outpost he checks.


    Sage also came across a few pirates on the sea and some on islands he stopped on to ensure nothing was happening on it. Sage didn''t bother with the pirates since only Paradise level pirates could actually give him a form of challenge, but if he wanted a real challenge then he would need to go the New World.


    Sage let his crew handle them, so that they could gain experience fighting before they head into Paradise since even though they were trained in Marineford they still have pretty much no experience fighting.


    Currently Sage is a day out from the Red Port. The Red port is the way the Marines get their ships over and into the New World. At either sides of the Red line the Red port is at the Base of it directly underneath Mary Geoise. The ports contain a special lifts called Bondolas.


    Sage was already granted permission from Marine HQ to use the Bondolas in the Red Ports.


    Sage is currently training his Rokushiki while also training his Haki. He''s sparing with Elliot.


    They are both standing apart from each other while looking at each in the eyes before suddenly disappearing and reappearing while clashing with each other. Sage is using a staff made out of water while also coating it with his Armament Haki.


    Elliot is using two swords. One with is pure black with the under part of the blade containing hints of red while the other is pure silver with the under part containing hints of gold. Elliot had told Sage that these blades were Grade swords. Sage knew that because they were really sharp compared to other swords he''s used before, but not good enough to be in the Skillful Grade.


    They both clashed in the center with shock waves coming out from their clash. The clash lasted only for a second before Elliot went flying backwards and rolling on the deck of the ship. Elliot recovered quickly before jumping towards Sage before using Soru to confuse Sage.


    It would normally be useless against him, Sage wanted this fight to be fair so he wasn''t using Observation Haki. Only Armament Haki and his devil fruit powers, but still Sage was able to pick out where Elliot was at and swung at him with his staff.


    Elliot didn''t try to block it since the last time he did that he got sent flying off of the ship, so this time he dodged by the tip of his hair. He jumped in since Sage''s guard was wide open after missing, but that was exactly what Sage wanted.


    Sage: \" Come on Elliot I already told you to call me just by my name. Forget the formalities me and you are friends now alright \" Sage put his fist up to Elliot. Elliot just sighed before pumping fist with Sage. Elliot: \" Alright then from now on when it''s just me and you I''ll call you by just your name, but if there''s people around then am calling you with your Rank \"


    Sage with a grin just laughed before waving towards Elliot to follow him. Then both of them walked to go wash themselves.


    After two days sailing they had arrived at the sector that Sage and his crew were assigned to guard until they received their orders.


    For the first couple of weeks multiple different pirate crews were trying to get through and into the Grandline, but were stopped each time by Sage''s crew. For the majority of the pirates Sage''s crew could handle them mostly because they had superior numbers, but over time they started needing less and less Marines to handle the pirates.


    Every week or so a Marine ship would come and take the prisoners that they would capture after the battle. After a month the amount of pirates coming through Sage''s sector had started to slowly but surely decrease.


    Every now and then when there would be a pirate crew to strong for his crew to handle Elliot would move in and take them out on his own. Over the course of the month Sage and Elliot would sparr everyday. This helped Elliot improve his strength by a lot since Sage''s current strength was already enough for him to be a Vice Admiral.


    Elliot''s current strength is at the level of Marine Captains that guard Marine outpost in Paradise. After 2 months had passed by Sage and his crew had pretty much nothing to do except train and spar against each other.


    Sage was bored out of his mind since from the moment he was assigned to guard sector A225 he''s had no one strong enough to fight against, but he was given a order to wait and do nothing pretty much. He was able to make good progress with Rokushiki since he pretty much just trained that the entire time.


    His Haki wasn''t able to make much progress from training alone. From now on Sage would have to engage in battles if he wants to make any good progress on his Haki.


    Sage and his crew were guarding sector A225 for a total of 4 months before he received his next order.


    His order was the type he hated. He had to escort Nobles. The only thing that was good about this was that he at least didn''t have to escort World Nobles or that was what he thought before he was told that he would be escorting the King and Princess of Alabasta who were former World Nobles, but choose to stay in their kingdom instead of in the Mary Geoise.


    Sengoku had already told Sage about how the King of Alabasta was. Sage was a bit more happy since from what Sengoku told him. The Royal Family of the kingdom of Alabasta didn''t seem to be like most nobles, but actually cared about the citizens of their kingdom and were generally nice people.


    Even though Sage trust Sengoku he will see how they are like once he arrives at Alabasta.


    Sage looked towards his crew before shouting, \" Alright then you guys set sail for the Kingdom of Alabasta.\"
