《Transfer Into NPC World》


 1 It Begins

    In the year of 2021 , a vrmmorpg has been released and the game name was UtopiaFantasy . The game was a big hit for the first two years but in the year of 2024 the number players have decreased because there were many better games and the NPC doesn''t have an intelligent to think and have been program by the game developer . Since the developer of the game doesn''t wanted the game to die , the developer created an event that was to seek the blue flower petal that can grant any wish . The event saved the game but eventually player give up to search for it because it was so hard to find it and some people think it was just a fake event to draw player . Still there were many players tried to search this blue flower petal .


    It''s been two years since , Shiki still searching for the blue flower petal and many of his friend has gave up searching for it . Shiki still believed that he can find it because he really wanted to see NPC has it own will and intelligence . This because Shiki has fall in love with an NPC . It happens when Shiki was doing a quest that was to rescue Princess Elna from the evil prince . After completing the quest , Princess Elna give Shiki a ring as a token of appreciation " Thank you hero and I will never forget your bravery when you rescue me from the evil prince and I will talk to my father because I wanted to marry you even thou you just a knight" saying that with smiled .


    From that moment Shiki fell in love and escort Princess Elna to the Kingdom Lineage castle . As soon he arrives , he waited for Princess Elna to tell her father but nothing happen . At that moment Shiki realized that it was all fake , NPC don''t have any feelings and they all have been programmed . Shiki feels hopeless and suddenly a notice appear telling Shiki if he wanted to retake the quest . Without hesitation Shiki quickly say yes because wanted to see Princess Elna smile to him again .After one years Shiki level has reach level 150 because his consisted online time . Shiki began to give up and wanted to quit the game as he realized that this was meaningless . Shiki motivation has rise up because he saw the event that will make any wish comes true within the game . He devoted himself to find the blue flower petal just for his love .


    Sadly for the past two years , Shiki couldn''t find the flower . Shiki felt hopeless again , he check all his map to see whether there are other place that he has not been there . He noticed one area that still hasn''t been discovered yet by him . He quickly mount his horse and went to the place . As Shiki arrives there , he sees nothing but a huge boulder in that area . He began to search for it but he never find it. Shiki felt frustrated , he lean back to the huge boulder . Suddenly , he hear a big roar coming from infront him . He was shocked to see a big bear coming toward him and most likely would attack Shiki . Shiki quickly draw his sword but then he put it back and just stand still waiting the bear to came . As the bear has become near to Shiki , the bear suddenly vanished as Shiki began to hear something opening up . He turn backwards and saw the huge boulder has a hidden door behind it .


    " You have past the test that been given to you like the previous four player , enter the door to gain the blue flower petal " Then the mysterious voice vanished .


    After hearing the mysterious voice , Shiki enter the hidden door and he found a spriggan holding the blue flower petal in it arms . " Here is your rewards , Please step into the circle to make you wish " Tell the spriggan to Shiki . Shiki step on the circle and think about what he should wish , he can wish that Princess Elna to have it own intelligence and personality but Shiki thought it would be better if all the NPC have it intelligence . " I wish that all the NPC were like player " Shiki made his wish .


    After Shiki made the wish , the flower disappeared . Shiki waited a few minutes but nothing happen . He thinks that the springgan will come to talk to him but the spriggan just stood there . He feel that he was being deceive by the game developer as he wanted to tell anyone that this event was fake . When he enter the global chat , Shiki was disconnected with the game as he only saw black screen and disconnected text in front him , he think that maybe his internet speed was slow . Suddenly he was connected back to the game as he was in the Town of Baroda . He feel weird about how he was teleported here and think some bug happen in the games .


    Shiki see all the NPC acted differently because the NPC were more active than before . Suddenly a hand was place in Shiki shoulder . " Hey mister ! Try out our inn . We have delicious food and the coziest bed in this town with a great price " says a female NPC to Shiki . Shiki seems confused as NPC never tried to promote their inn before and realized that his wish has come true . " Mister do you listening to me ? " shout the female NPC to Shiki . " Sorry , I will give it a think first " as Shiki began to walk away . When Shiki wanted to tell his friends about the NPC , he noticed that all his friend were offline . He open up the global chat but there was a notice telling Shiki that he was disconnected . Shiki feels panic and tries to log out the game but couldn''t log out from the game , every time he click the log out button a error message appear in front of him .


    Shiki realized that maybe he has been transfer to this game and he tried to check other features of this game still working . All other features work fine but the map has been reset as all the map was blank and just the town Baroda added to the map . Shiki tried to use the fast travel function and the teleporter item but it not working . Shiki was convince that he has been transfer to this world . Shiki don''t know what to do but then he remember why he wish for this and it because wanted Princess Elna to be saved and loved by him . He still remember that he must go to the Imperial City of Lineage to get the quest that will be given by the kings himself . Shiki knows that the Kingdom Lineage was located west from the Town Baroda . Shiki couldn''t use the fast travel function so he must buy a horse in the stable outside Town Baroda . Shiki realized that this will be the biggest thrilled in his whole life .

 2 The Daemon

    Shiki check his map to see where the stables was located , the stable located outside the town . Shiki began to walk to the stable location as he was so fascinated about this game world . After a few minutes , he arrives at the destination . He ask the stable workers where was their boss because he wanted to buy a horse . The workers show Shiki the way to their boss . "If you wanted to buy a horse , go that house over there to talk with our boss"Shiki thanks the worker and enter the house , he saw a man sitting down doing his paperwork . " Excuse me sir , I''m looking for the owner because I wanted to buy a horse "


    The man was shocked as he not notice Shiki enter the house . The man tells Shiki that there are different kind of horses and better horse will cost more gold . Shiki decided to choose the cheapest horse . The man then pull out a paper from his draw her and telling Shiki that the horse cost 1000 gold coin . Shiki then take out his 1000 gold coin from his inventory and give it to the owner . " Umm sir ?Where your ID card ? " Shiki reply " ID Card ? " The owner seems shocked " You don''t have an ID card .. Sir do you lost your ID card ? " Shiki says that he does not have any ID card on him and ask the owner about the ID card . The owner replied that an ID card was to make sure you a citizens of this country and to know that you not a slave . " If you have that mucy money , I rather suggest you create your ID card or you will be label as a slave . " The owner show Shiki the way to the ID card registration center .


    Shiki then make his way to that place , as soon he arrives there he saw many of people in the registration center . Shiki waited almost 2 hours for his name to be called to make his ID card . Shiki sit down on the chair " Sir please fill out this paper regarding your personal information . " Shiki fill out the rest of the paper but he leave one information blank . " Sir , you don''t fill in your job information . " Shiki knows that he does not have a job so he tell the assistant that he does not have a job . The assistant says that if you don''t have a job then your job status will be fill as a traveler . " Sir , your name is Shiki , age 25 , job status traveler . Is this this all correct ? " Shiki nodded and saying it was true . " Okay Sir , it''s all done , please come back tomorrow to get your ID card . Shiki agreed then he left .


    " I guess I have to wait until tomorrow then , I better find an inn to sleep for today before it get to dark . " Shiki then stumbled upon the Npc that promoting their inn earlier . " Pardon me miss , I want to know where your inn located ? " The female NPC shocked as Shiki approach her from behind . The female NPC maintain her composure and tell Shiki located near the center of the town and the inn name was Prunnes Inn . Shiki thanks the female NPC and started to go to the inn . Few minutes later , Shiki arrive at the inn and tell the owner of the inn to rent a room for one night . " It will cost you 20 gold per night " says the owner to Shiki . Shiki then pay 20 gold and the owner shows Shiki the way to his room . The room were quite nice and very big , Shiki notice that there a little girl inside his room . Shiki then tell the owner that he saw a little girl in his room and the owner replied that it was his foster daughter Lily . She always went to the room cause it was in that room that her real parents abandoned her and I been taking care of them since then . " If you like to take another room I can arranged it for you . " Shiki replied that he does not mind having that Lily in the room and Shiki knew how hard it was to be abandoned by someone cause Shiki also been abandoned by his parents before .


    Shiki enter the rooms and Lily suddenly hug him but then get distance from Shiki cause she has mistaken Shiki for his father . " I''m sorry sir , I thought you are my father . " Shiki says that he does not mind and hope your father will come to get you soon . Shiki asked Lily to leave the room because he wanted some privacy . Lily agreed and leave Shiki alone in the room , Shiki then started to check all his game feature again to seems it works all right . Shiki then began to lie down on his bed and started to sleep . Shiki sleep pretty well for the next 6 hours but suddenly his sleep was disturbed by a screaming sound . He then wake up and began noticing that in his room were on fire and smoke coming out from his room . Shiki hear a sound at the door and he quickly go to check in and he find out that Lily was there standing in fear , Shiki asked Lily what happened and Lily said that someone attacking the inn and the rest of the town . Shiki quickly go down stair while grabbing Lily hand and saw that a mysterious man holding a mace in blood , he saw that the inn owner was dead . Shiki said to Lily to stay behind me , the mysterious man noticed me and started to attack me . Shiki sheathed up his sword and attack the man . The mysterious man die instantly when my sword pierce into his heart , before the man die " How could a daemon soldier like me get defeated by a human , I''m sorry Lord Abraxas !! " Then his body turned into an ash pile , Shiki then go outside the inn with Lily and he saw many of daemon soldier slaughtering people and the whole town were burning .


    Shiki asked Lily to stay behind him all this time because it will make it easier for Shiki to protect her . Shiki checked all the daemon soldier level and he was shocked that all the daemon soldier was on level 50 . Shiki began to doubt himself that he and Lily can make out of this town alive . A few daemon soldier began to notice Shiki and started to attack him , Shiki use his skill Staryhtle Blade and then his sword began to glow in green color . He asked Lily to hide in that place as he wanted to deal with the enemy without any distraction . Shiki began to dash to the enemy and Shiki movement was so fast that the daemon soldier could not even react or block Shiki attack . As Shiki sword hit the daemon soldier , the daemon soldier were paralyze and then started to scream as they get poison by Shiki blade . The scream attract more attention and more daemon soldier arrived at there , Shiki managed to defeat the enemy with ease . Suddenly a beam of dark ray try to hit Shiki but he managed to dodge it . Shiki look above the sky as he saw a daemon with dragon wing flying in the sky , Shiki began to noticed that all the daemon soldier bow down as they said Lord Abraxas . " Im Abraxas one of the six general of The Great Satan will kill this human . " Abraxas began descending to the ground as he the disappeared and reappeared behind Shiki , luckily Shiki managed to dodge it but sustained a little damage . Shiki check Abraxas level and he was quite surprised to see that Abraxas was on level 100 . Shiki must take this fight seriously as he could sustained a large damage if he not careful . Shiki then dash and tried to slash Abraxas with his sword but Abraxas let the sword hit him , Abraxas then let kick Shiki on the stomach as Shiki lie down on the ground . Shiki see that Abraxas health is not affected by his sword skills . Shiki realized that he cannot beat Abraxas with his enchant sword and might to call his ultimate sword .


    Shiki must end the battle fast as the ultimate sword last for only six minutes . Shiki then stand up to the ground and started to chant " With the power of the ancient demon race , I call forth the legandary seal blade of the Demon Diadora , Diadora Legendary Seal Blade !! " The a ray of darkness shrouded Shiki as he wield a sword the Diadora Blade . Abraxas was shocked as he saw the sword and Abraxas realized that he was on a spell field . Shiki then unlock the the first seal as the sword turn into a Hell Flame Sword and hit Abraxas . Abraxas was screaming with pain as his health bar began to deplete then Shiki unlock the second seal of the sword as the sword turn in a Dark Water Sword and hit Abraxas . Abraxas health began to zero but he then use his skill Killing Corpses as one of the daemon soldier get pulled by him and get eaten by Abraxas as Abraxas health bar began to recover . The battle was getting more intense and this maybe be the first battle for Shiki in this new world that full of mystery .

 3 Saviors

    Abraxas use his second skill and few of the daemon soldier began to get suck in within Abraxas skill , the daemon soldiers began to vanished and turn into some ash pile . A glimpse of darkness appear on Abraxas and Abraxas dash to Shiki , it was so fast that Shiki couldn''t dodge it . The attack took almost half of Shiki health bar and Shiki was surprise that Abraxas attack could damage him like that as Abraxas level was lower than him . Shiki was shocked as he just saw that Abraxas level was higher than him .


    Abraxas began to laugh " You was shocked to see my real power , this is my second skill Ulterior Power . "


    Abraxas started to attack Shiki rapidly and Shiki could not dodge all of the attacks , it making Shiki took a lot of damage and his health bar was reaching the critical state where he could die if he get hit by one or three more attack from Abraxas . Shiki stands to the ground as he unseal the third seal of the blade .


    " Third Seal Unlock !! Come forth the Raijinegeki Blade . "


    The third seal of the blade was unlock as the Diadora Blade turn into some sort of lightning sword . When Abraxas began to attack Shiki , Shiki could catch up to Abraxas speed and managed to block all of Abraxas attack . Shiki realized that he must end this battle quickly as his conjure sword will only last for only one minutes now . When Shiki was about to unleash the fourth seal of the blade , Abraxas attacked him relentlessly as he knew that it was the perfect time to attack Shiki . Shiki was couldn''t unleashed the fourth seal of the blade and he just have a few seconds now . Abraxas still attacking Shiki and suddenly Shiki blade disappeared from Shiki hand as he has reach the time limit of the spell . Shiki was knock down into the ground as he get hit by one of Abraxas attack .


    " Is this it hero ? , is this the best you can do . I''m proud of you human that you have force me to use my second skill but sadly you must die . "


    When Abraxas was about to deliver the final blow to Shiki . A spear suddenly pierce into Abraxas chest , Shiki couldn''t saw much as he saw a glimpse of a girl standing behind Abraxas before he fainted . Suddenly Shiki feels that somebody talking to him , Shiki began to open his eyes as he saw Lily was crying on Shiki arm . Shiki began to pat Lily head and tell Lily that he was fine , then he began to realized about the battle . He asked Lily what happen when he was fainted a few hours ago . Lily says that a girl with a spear kill the Abraxas and the rest daemon soldier ran away , Lily also said that girl use a heal spell on to Shiki and said to wait with Shiki as she try to seek other survivor .


    After a few minutes , the mysterious girl come back as Lily waved her hand to that girl . The mysterious waved back as she approach Shiki , the mysterious girl asked Shiki about his condition as Shiki replied that he was fine . Shiki began to thanks the girl and asked if she found any survivor from this attack . The girl face look sads as she shake her head , she tells that all of the people in this town were dead and only Shiki and Lily were alive . Shiki also wanted to asked the girl how she defeated Abraxas but when Shiki saw her level , he then drop the question as Shiki knew that Abraxas couldn''t win against her even using his second skill cause the girl level was level 210 . While Shiki check the girl level , he saw the girl name and Shiki was surprised as the girl name has the same name of one of the ten top player in this name .


    " Are you Xaniela ? The real Xaniela , the seven top player of this game . "


    The girl seems to be a bit surprise as she ask Shiki how he knows her name cause even she has not tell her name to Shiki . Xaniela began to realize that Shiki was also a player of the game and asked Shiki if he was a player to confirm her assumption . Shiki say that''s he was a player from this game and started to asked Xaniela many question . Shiki never thought that there was another player in the game and thought he was the only one in this game . Xaniela says that he will answers all Shiki question tomorrow and asked Shiki to rest for today as Shiki began to sleep . On the next morning , Shiki wake up and realized that Xaniela and Lily sleep beside him . Shiki blush for a momentas Xaniela wake up and saw Shiki blush face . Xaniela smile as Shiki try to look away from her .


    " Xaniela , it''s seem that you like seeing my sleeping face isn''t . Don''t try to denied it cause I saw you blushing face .


    Shiki try to change the question and manage to do it as he ask how did Xaniela came into this NPC world . Xaniela replied that she found the blue flower petal and wish that she became the most powerful player in this game , then she was teleport to this NPC world . Xaniela also told Shiki that there were other player in this game beside the two of them as the blue flower has five petal and that means that there were five player get transfer into this world including them . Shiki realized that why''s no player ever announced that they have found the blue flower petal because the others who found it where teleported here . Shiki ask how Xaniela know about this thing and Xaniela replied that the first player of the game told her this thing . Shiki curiosity began to raise as he ask who was the first player . Xaniela told Shiki that if Shiki wanted to know who was the first player , he must go with Xaniela to the Golden Kingdom . Shiki felt weird as there no such Kingdom before in the game and Xaniela told him that it was the first player who build it .


    Shiki agreed to follow Xaniela back to Golden Kingdom to know who was the first player . This was the first time he party up with people to some adventure .

 4 Chapter 4

    We somehow managed to escape the inn but after we went outside the inn. It was horrible, the whole town is on fire. I tried to see if any people were around but there were none.All I could think of that all the townspeople have already fleed or have to take shelter somewhere.


    Suddenly a scream of a woman shouting for help can be heard nearby, I grabbed Lily''s hand and started to run to that place. A shadow figure was attacking that woman, I quickly dashed to the shadow figure and attack him with my fist. The shadow figure vanished and turn into some black liquid, luckily for me, my gloves were enchanted by magic that boosts my attack if I strike with my fist.


    "Are you okay miss? " As I lend my hand to help her to stand up.


    "I''m okay but please help the other at the church."


    "What happens in this town?" I need all the information on these events.


    "I don''t know much but the knight in the church said that the Demon Lord may be the cause of these attacks. It was a sudden attack and the knight order us all to evacuate in the church."


    "So why are you out here?Did something happen inside the church?"

    "The knights that protecting the church were defeated so easily and I thought that I was gonna die if I stay at that place so I tried to escape."

    After entering the church, I see all the townspeople and the knights were still there and still safe. I was glad that the townspeople still alive and I told the knights that it''s better to escape from this town. Something weird here, why we''re all the people here were smiling instead of being scared and the atmosphere here was rather quiet.


    "Sir knight do you hear me?"


    It seems that he can''t hear me, what happened in here. I got a bad feeling in this place but I should investigate it more. As I started to walk past the knights I hear a peal of laughter behind me, I quickly turned around but there was no one there.

    "Another human here to become my feast"


    Suddenly all the people in that church turn into shadowy figures and started to attack me. I was caught off guard and took some minor damage. Somehow I managed to defeat some of the shadowy figures and make my run to escape the church.


    I never saw these shadowy figures in the game before, what are they. The shadowy figures keep spawning after I defeated them. They are weak but if they keep coming I may be out of stamina in no time. The strange voice suddenly speaks again.

    "You seem strong and different from the other townspeople. I guess I need to kill you personally then."


    All the shadowy figures began to merged up and become something. It forming a body and some armor. After I look it was a person in armor with a spear, suddenly it started to speak to me.


    "No one ever lives after seeing my true form and allow me to introduce myself."


    "I am the Aeon, The Demon Lord Aeon or known as the Fallen Abyss."


    I quickly check his level and profile.

    Title: Demon Lord/Fallen Abyss


    Race: Daemon


    Level: 210


    His level already surpassed mine and his title is something I must worry about. I never fought a demon lord in the game before but I heard that the other player also have a hard time fighting this thing and need 15 player or more to defeat this. Only the top player of the game can fight this beast one by one.


    Suddenly my mind starts to think that I not in the game world anymore and I could die if he attacks me. I assume that there are no respawning this time as I only have this life. I am not like the hero in the anime I watch that always win no matter what, I not even the main character, I was the fifth person that get transfer in this world. I, not the hero, I am not brave. I just need to make sure I survive and get out of this town so I just need to run from here.


    "There is no shame in running away and even people get scared of something right." as I started to run towards the town gate.


    Aeon started to laugh at me.


    "You''re the first one who tried to run away from, I guess it''s true that you are not like the other people I met that was foolish enough to fight me even though they have 0% of winning."


    Aeon suddenly reappears in front of me and punch me in the stomach. The punch was too powerful, I sent away by the force of the punch and slammed into the church wall.


    "My health status."


    HP: 1700/5300


    The damage I took from that punch was huge and my health is low because of that. One more hit and I will die from this battle. His speed is crazy, I thought that I could outrun him. I guess my only decision here is to fight here and make it out from here alive. I quickly pull out my health potion from my inventory to restore my health to full and make my battle stance.


    "It seems that you made up your mind, at last, I sure hope this fight is entertaining."


    Will I make out from here alive?

 5 Chapter 5

    This fight is gonna be hard but luckily I have a slight advantage on this one. This world still uses the game interface and system as I could quickly draw any item from my inventory. Still, I need to add a quick shortcut to the item that I would use in this battle.


    I need to make his attention focus on something else besides me, the inventory management will take some time and I would get hit if I want to sort my item now. What is a good way to distract him from me? A bright idea suddenly popped into my head and then I placed my hand in the ground.


    "Hey! Are you ready to fight cause you will be killed in one attack by me."


    Aeon seems to fall for my taunt and dashed toward me. He doesn''t seem to know that I have placed an ice rune in front of me. That would make him freeze for a few seconds and that is the time that I must quickly manage my item or else I would lose this fight.


    As Aeon continue to dash forward and when he steps on my ice rune, the ice rune was activated and the ice freezes Aeon in the area for a few seconds. I quickly jump behind and sort my item in a hurry cause the ice would not hold him that long.


    "You think that this ice magic of you will hold me for long... You are mistaken human."


    The ice that been holding Aeon started to break and then he manages to escape. Aeon then laughs on my statement last time that I would kill him in just one punch. He then blinks behind me and releases his skill. It was so fast that I couldn''t react at all.


    A large explosion happens...


    "No one ever survived my skill! HAHAHAHAHA."


    "Wait...You the first human I kill using this skill but sadly you already die now"


    Aeon continues to laugh and he suddenly stops when he saw me come out from that explosion, he was shocked.


    "You supposed to be dead! How could this be?"


    I could die if I do not drink all the stats booster potion that boosts my stats, health, and its regeneration speed. I survived because I manage to sort my item on time and drink the potion. I would never think that Aeon uses three skills at the same time and all of it was high-level skills on me.


    "You could say I already saw that attack coming."


    Aeon was furious and his aura changed drastically and he began to change his spear stance and charging his spear. This is my chance to attack him while he was charging his spear, I quickly run toward him for an attack but instead I was the one who is attacked by him.


    I sustained a lot of damage, I was taken by surprise by his charging speed. Most of the player have to charge their spear for a longer time and he just takes a few seconds. It clear to me know that I have no chance of winning against Aeon. I thought that I have an advantage because of the game system in this world but I was wrong. Aeon skill is too great compared to me and I never fought a Demon Lord in the game before.


    I just run away from this battle, I can''t even survive this fight. While I was busy thinking, Aeon launches me who is not focus in this fight into the air and follows up with a series of powerful blows. Then I fall to the ground as my health dropping low, I couldn''t do anything as I just was being attacked relentlessly by Aeon.


    "Health Status"


    HP: 233/5300


    My vision becomes red and my stats booster is nearly reaching the time limit. I began to think why should I live in this world with no purpose. Princess Elna already married and I have no attachment to this world, I would gladly accept my dead.


    Then I remember that I have promised Lily that I would protect him. I suddenly spam on my health potions and my health was restored to full. I rise from the ground and drink all my stats booster to make sure the effect will last longer.


    "It seems that you suddenly motivated, I thought you already gave up."


    I can''t fight this demon lord barehanded, I must fight with a weapon but all of my weapons are a low-level weapon. As I scroll down my weapon selection, I found some good weapons with nice stats that will help me fight the Demon Lord Aeon.


    I take out the sword from my inventory and Aeon was surprised when he saw my weapon.

    Additional Effects: Especially deadly to Undead


    The sword that I get from just login in the game 1st Anniversary, It has great stats but many players just sold the sword because they already own a better sword but I have no time to sell it cause I was to busy repeating a quest. I don''t know if this sword is deadly to the demon lord but the base damage is great compared to my bare-handed stats.


    "You gonna attack me with that giant banana! Humans sure do stupid stuff when they close to death...HAHAHAHAHA!"

    The other people look at me as they wonder why am I doing here in this room. I tried to smile at them but they just ignore me. Suddenly, an elf speaks to King Rainard asking who am I and why I am still here as this was a private matter between them.

    Neyla couldn''t believe what she has heard and started to get closer to me but her action was stopped after hearing King Rainard told them that the demon has destroyed half of the Northern Kingdom.     I and Lily sit down at the chair and order some food, it''s good that Xaniela already pays up for all of it. I should thank her later, Lily and I started to eat after the innkeeper deliver the food to our table.


    The food was delicious and I see that Lily also enjoys her food.

That time I was still a mercenary working for the Roccirus Kingdom, I was sent there to help the soldier to defeat the demons. We tried to fight those demons but the Roccirus soldier was not that powerful and our casualties increase day by day. The General knew that we had to retreat to Fallmerrow Mount and think a better strategy to beat the demons...."


    Suddenly Greg stops talking as we arrive at our destination, the blacksmith shop. I wanted to know more of Greg''s story but I guess we had to stop for now. We then enter the shop, but we saw no one was around at the shop.

    Greg says that the place was full of high-level monster and the layout of the cave will make anyone lost and confused.


    "It''s not that I force him to go there and he could hire some mercenary to accompany him to that cave if he wants," Fozir than ask me if I wanted to do it or not.

    I tell Lily that we had to cancel our sightseeing to the arena, library and the grand church as I need to go somewhere else.     I told her that I wanted to hire some mercenary. She told me what kind of mercenary do I want as there many varieties of mercenary here.


    "I don''t know but I just wanted someone that would help me get some Mythril ore."


    "That is a rather difficult quest but first, may I ask you to tell me your name, classes and how much you willing to pay."


    I told Arya that my name is Arias and I am a jack of all trades but I mainly use a sword. I am even willing to pay up to 5000 Gold. She then recommends that I should hire two mercenaries and it''s better to hire one tanker class and one healer class mercenary. I agree with her recommendations and she asks me to wait a while for her to look for suitable mercenaries for me.


    I waited nearly for 15 minutes and Arya told that she has found good mercenaries for me. She then introduces the mercenaries.

    We continue our discussion, they wanted payment up to 3000 gold for a person as it would be a dangerous quest. I think for a moment whether I should agree to their price or not because if I pay them 3000 gold each, I will have 4000 gold left.


    I tried to negotiate with them even more and finally the agree that they will be paid for 2500 gold each but on one condition if they were badly injured I must pay them more. We decided that we all should meet up at the north gate in the morning, Hugh told me that I should prepare some supplies and healing potion for tomorrow. With that, we reach our agreement and I then leave the guild and look for some supplies.


    After I finish buying some supplies and a few healing potions. We head back to the inn for some rest, Lily immediately went to her room and sleep as she was tired following me around all day. I also feel tired, I quickly went to my room and dive into my bed.


    "Ahh! I couldn''t sleep." I stare at my room ceiling for a minute. At that moment, I just realize that I couldn''t bring Lily with me tomorrow as I will be entering a dangerous place.


    "I guess I will just ask Xaniela or Greg to look after her, it safer there than this inn." As I keep thinking, I don''t even realize that I am already fallen asleep because when I woke up it''s already morning.

    It was dark when we enter the cave and Diana cast some light magic to make the cave brighter. We started to delve further into the cave, Hugh feels weird as we did not encounter any monster until now. He told us to be careful as he had a bad feeling about it.


    The cave was pretty big and the light magic could not brighten up all the place. Hugh recommends us to stick together and attack together if there any monster appears. We keep walking further to the place that has the Mythril ore.


    When we arrive there, Hugh was shocked as there were no Mythril Ore. He says that this place used to have a lot of the ore but somehow it has gone.


    "Maybe someone already mines all of them?"


    Hugh disagrees with my statement as the miners afraid to go into this cave because of the monster. He also told me that usually there will be some wolf and bear here or some goblin but we still not saw any monster yet.


    We keep searching for the ore until suddenly we hear a high tone and loud noise, screeching in the cave.


    "HREEEEEEEE!!!!"

    We start to look around but their nothings in the cave. The sound kept getting louder and Hugh starts to shout.

    Something then crawls out from the ground as I was shocked seeing an Earthen Drake and it starts to spit out a fire as Hugh uses his Shield Protection Skill on time to tank up all the damage and protect us.


    The Earthen Drake was about ten feet tall with a body covered in scale and dirt. Its teeth were sharp and his claw is as big as our head and that fire would burn us instantly but luckily Hugh managed to use his skill.


    Even though Hugh use Shield Protection, the damage he received was massive. I quickly told Diana to heal Hugh and I will attack the drake while Hugh tanking his attack.

The drake attack speed was even faster than I expected it would be. Even with Diana buff, I could still feel the burns through my skin and clothes as I scream in pain. I start to run as I would give me some time to use my health potions and fire resistance potions but the drake catches me before I can use it.


    I was hit by the drake fire breath and the burning sensation was getting all over my body. My mouth is filled with blood and I gurgle as I attempt to catch my breath. I look up at the drake who seems amused by this display of weakness.

    I saw that Hugh was taunting the drake to make the drake lose its focus on me. The Earthen Drake fell for Hugh taunt and look at Hugh as Diana throw the fireball at the drake. It hits the drake right between its eyes causing it to let out a roar of anger. I quickly use my health and fire resistance potion as I take a deep breath and prepare for another attack.


    Suddenly a lightning bolt hit me from behind and I gasp in pain. I turned around and notice that a figure standing there holding a sword in one hand and wearing leather armor. The figure looks like it has been made of smoke though, making it hard to tell what kind of creature it is. The mysterious figure then disappears.


    While the drake still growling in pain, Hugh keeps slashing it and Diana keeps attacking with her fireball. I manage to get back up and stab the drake, The Earthen Drake tries to go underground but Hugh quickly uses his skill to stun the drake making it paralyzed and we keep attacking it.


    When we still attacking the drake we hear another screeching, suddenly an another Earthen Drake appear behind Diana. I shout to Diana to watch out her back as there was another Drake. It lets out a roar behind Diana and another drake starts to attack Diana.


    Hugh rush to protect Diana from the Drake. Unfortunately, Hugh doesn''t even make it halfway when the drake bites Diana in the neck killing her instantly. Hugh screams for Diana''s death as we both saw Diana''s body get tears apart by the drake.


    Hugh decides to go after the drake that kills Diana and tried to attack it but the drake dodges his attack and the drake hits Hugh, knocking him to the ground.


    I quickly run towards Hugh but the first drake has been released from the stun effect. The first drake swings his claw at me, I managed to block it but the impact is so strong that I was sent flying through the cave wall.


    I was lying in the ground as I saw Hugh was fighting with those monster alone. I tried to stand up but my body feels numb, my vision starts to get darker by seconds. I tried to shout to Hugh than he should run away. My vision was getting dark and darker and then I blackout.

    I stop fainting and begin to stand up. I immediately look around and realize that the impact of the drake attack has sent me flying through a wall. I quickly run to the area where we fight the drake and hoping that Hugh was still alive.


    When I arrive at the spot, the drake was missing as well as Hugh. I tried to found Hugh but all that I had found is his shield. I let out a yell when I saw Diana''s body parts. I began to regret bringing them here to accompany me. Diana died because of me if I were stronger enough like the other player or had better special skills no one will die. I continue my search for Hugh.


    I take another glance around and see no one. Then I notice a trail of blood leading away to a hole in the cave. I think that it might be the trail of Hugh blood, so I start to follow it. Along the way, I shout Hugh''s name as I don''t want him to die alone like this. He probably going through hell right now and I just wish he could hear me.


    Finally, I find Hugh but I notice he lay unconscious on the floor. Hugh looks very pale and exhausted. His eyes are close and he doesn''t seem to be moving. Hugh seems to have lost consciousness when I found him as I presume that he already dead.


    I feel tears welling up in my eyes. I can''t believe that I was crying over someone''s death again. I wipe them away and try to compose yourself before continuing.

    Hugh opens her eyes and sees me.


    I was surprised seeing Hugh was still alive. "I''m glad you still alive but how did you survive? How did you escape?"


    "I don''t remember much but I was sent flying by the same drake and ended here. I was badly injured at that time and I fainted, then I wake up here seeing you."

    I quickly handed some healing potions to Hugh as I see Hugh''s health bar and wounds begin to heal up. I also give his shield back, we then rest a while to restore our stamina.

Suddenly we hear the screeching sound again, we quickly follow that sound and we finally saw the Earthen Drakes again. Hugh was about to charge in but I managed to stop him.


    I told him that we should have strategies before fighting those monsters again or else we will just die.


    "Isn''t it obvious! Each person handles a single drake." Hugh quickly charges to one of the drakes.


    The drakes notice Hugh and let out a huge roar, they began to let out a burst of flame. I charge forward with my sword raised high above my head. The drake roars and swings its claws at me but I managed to dodge them. I swing again and this time manages to hit the drake in the face causing it to crash into the ground hard.


    I raise my blade and cut straight across the drake''s chest. The drake lets out a scream of pain. I thought that I could end this drake life but the drake suddenly disappears from my sight. I look around and see that the other drake was also missing.


    I and Hugh were confused as the drake suddenly disappears.


    A loud sound then echoes throughout the cave. We turn around and see a huge black shadow looming over us. It is the mysterious figure that I saw earlier but its face was completely covered by a demon mask. It lets out another deep booming voice that fills the whole cave making it very scary.

I realize now that this is what the undead do when they summon their creatures! The undead sends out these feelings so he can control me.


    My body begins to move on its own as it tried to attack Hugh. My body feels much faster, luckily Hugh manages to block my attack but it knock us several feet.


    "What are you doing! The undead is there." Hugh was confused why I am attacking him instead of the undead

    I kept attacking Hugh as the undead order me to do it. A few of my attacks hit Hugh as I could see that his health bar is getting reduce. I told him to stun me and think of something to break this spell. Hugh stun me as he tried attacking the undead but all of his attacks just go through him.


    While I am being stunned I tried to resist the spell but I couldn''t do it as the spell is too powerful. Hugh kept on attacking but none of his attacks manage to damage the undead. I must think of something before the stun effect wear off. I begin to realize that my action was controlled not my mind, I then tried to open my game menu and it works.


    I hope that by activating this mode will help to break the spell. I slide the slider to the left and activate the auto mode.

    Hugh then dashes toward the undead and hit the undead with his Shield Of En Divine. The undead let out a scream of pain as Hugh shield hit him through its torso, causing it to stop his chant. After successfully delivering the hit, Hugh steps back. I check the undead health bar and was still surprised that the damage was not that great.

    We never look behind and keep running as the skeletons still chasing us. We manage to outrun those skeletons and we could see the exit of the cave after a non-stop running. When we step outside the cave it was already nighttime.


    "We should make a camp a little further from this cave," I say to Hugh as it would set a camp near the cave.


    Hugh agrees and we start searching a good spot. After a few minutes of looking, we found a good place to camp tonight and the distance from the cave was quite far. We start to make a camp at that place and I volunteer myself to stay awake to make sure there no monster attacking us.


    After finish eating, Hugh went straight to sleep as he was tired and frustrated about what had to happen today. When I watching our camp surrounding, I stare at the sky and remember that before we enter that cave we say that we will return safely. I regretted my decision to find that ore because of the armor that I want.


    I also realize that I have become scared of fighting again. That time when I was fighting the undead and skeleton my hand was shaking.


    I ponder in thought and I made up my mind that I will never fight again and just live a normal life. I even think that I should not buy that armor and use my gold to open up a shop or anything that will benefit me. I kept on thinking as I don''t realize that I am already have fallen asleep.

    I knock the door of Diana''s house, I waited there for a few seconds and then the door was open by a middle-aged woman. When the woman sees me in front of the door, she then tried to shut the door but I manage to stop it.

The game was a big hit for the first two years but in the year of 2024, the number players have been decreased because there were many better games and the NPC doesn''t have even have an intelligent to think and had been a program by the game developer. Since the developer of the game doesn''t want the game to die, the developer created an event that was to seek the blue flower petal that can grant any wish. The event saved the game but eventually, players give up to search for it because it was so hard to find it and some people think it was just a fake event to call back old players back to play the game again. Still, there were many players tried to search this blue flower petal.


    It''s been two years since Arias still searching for the blue flower petal and many of his friends have already given up on searching for it. Arias still believed that he can find it because he wanted to see NPC has its own will and intelligence. This because Arias has fallen in love with an NPC. It happens when Arias was doing a quest that was to rescue Princess Elna from the evil prince. After completing the quest, Princess Elna give Arias a ring as a token of appreciation


    \"Thank you for a hero and I will never forget your bravery when you rescue me from the evil prince and I will talk to my father because I wanted to marry you even thou you just a knight.\" saying that with smiled.


    From that moment Arias fell in love and escort Princess Elna to the Lineage Kingdom. As soon he arrives, he waited for Princess Elna to tell her father but nothing happens. At that moment Arias realized that it was all fake, NPC doesn''t have any feelings and they all have been programmed. Arias feels hopeless and suddenly a notice appears telling Arias if he wanted to retake the quest. Without hesitation, Arias quickly say yes because he wanted to see Princess Elna smile to him again. After one year''s Arias level has reached level 150 because of the consisted online time.


    A few months later, Arias began to give up and wanted to quit the game as he realized that this was meaningless. Arias''s motivation has risen because he saw the event that will make any wish comes true within the game. He devoted himself to find the blue flower petal just for his love.


    Sadly for the past two years, Arias couldn''t find the flower. Arias felt hopeless again, he checks all his map to see whether there are other places that he has not been yet. He noticed one area that still hasn''t been discovered yet by him. He quickly mounts his horse and went to the place. As Arias arrives there, he sees nothing but a huge boulder in that area. He began to search for it but he never finds it. Arias felt frustrated, he leans back to the huge boulder. Suddenly, he hears a big roar coming from in front of him. He was shocked to see a big bear coming toward him and most likely would attack Arias. Arias attack with sword and magic but nothing seems to damage the bear. As the bear has become near to Arias, the bear suddenly vanished as Arias began to hear something opening up from behind. He turns backward and saw the huge boulder has a hidden door behind it.


    \"You have passed the test that been given to you like the previous four-player, enter the door to gain the blue flower petal\" Then the mysterious voice vanished.


    After hearing the mysterious voice, Arias enters the hidden door and he found a Spriggan holding the blue flower petal in its arms.


    \"Here is your rewards, Please step into the circle to make you wish \" Tell the spriggan to Arias. Arias step on the circle and think about what he should wish, he could wish that Princess Elna to have loved him back and marry him but Arias thought it would be better if all the NPC have its intelligence. \"I wish that all the NPC were like a player.\" Arias made his wish.


    After Arias made the wish, the flower disappeared. Arias waited a few minutes but nothing happens. He thinks that the spriggan will come to talk to him but the spriggan just stood there. He feels that he was being deceived by the game developer and he wanted to tell anyone that this event was fake. When he entered the global chat, Arias was disconnected within the game as he only saw a black screen and disconnected text in front of him, he thinks that maybe his internet connection was having a problem. Suddenly he was connected back to the game as he was in the Town of Baroda. He feels weird about how he was teleported here and think maybe this was some kind of bug that happens in the games.


    Arias see all the NPC acted differently because the NPC move a lot and interact with other NPC than before. Suddenly a hand was placed in Arias''s shoulder. \" Hey, mister! Try out our inn. We have delicious food and the coziest bed in this town with a great price \" says a female NPC to Arias.


    Arias seems confused as NPC never tried to promote their inn before and realized that his wish has come true. \" Mister do you listening to me ? \" shouted the female NPC to Arias. \"Sorry, I will give it think first \" as Arias began to walk away. When Arias wanted to tell his friends about the NPC, he noticed that all his friends were offline. He opens up the global chat but there was a notice in his game log telling that he was disconnected from the game. Arias feels panic and tries to log out the game but couldn''t log out from the game, every time he clicks the logout button an error message appears in front of him.


    Arias realized that maybe he has been transferred to this game, Arias was in the state of panic and tried to check other features of this game still working. All other features work fine but the map has been reset as all the map was blank and just the Town Baroda added to the map. Arias tried to use the fast travel function and the teleporter item but it does not seem to work. Arias was convinced that he has been transferred to this world. He calms himself for a few minutes a began to think. Arias doesn''t know what to do but then he remembers why he wishes for this and it is because he wanted Princess Elna to be saved and loved by him. He still remembers that he must go to the Lineage Kingdom to get the quest that will be given by the kings himself. Arias knows that the Lineage Kingdom was located west from the Town Baroda. Arias couldn''t use the fast travel function so he thought an alternative that was he must buy a horse in the stable outside Town Baroda. Arias realized that this will be the biggest thrilled in his whole life.

 2 Reality

    Arias checks his map to see where the stables were located, the stable located outside the town. Arias began to walk to the stable location as he was so fascinated about this game world. After a few minutes, he arrives at the destination. He asks the stable workers where was the owner of the stable because he wanted to buy a horse.


    The workers show Arias the way to the owner''s place. \"If you wanted to buy a horse, go to that building over there and have talked with our boss\" Arias thanks the worker and enter the building, he saw a man sitting down doing his paperwork. \" Excuse me, sir, I''m looking for the owner because I wanted to buy a horse \"


    The man was shocked as he did not notice that Arias was entering the building. Arias told that man he wanted to buy a horse for his adventure. The man tells Arias that there are different kinds of horses and a better horse will cost more gold than the usual horse. Arias decided to buy the cheapest horse because Arias just using the horse for adventuring. The man then pulls out an agreement paper from his drawer and telling Arias that the horse costs one thousand gold coins. Arias then take out one thousand gold coins from his inventory and give it to the owner.


    \"Umm, sir? Where your ID card?


    \" Arias reply \" ID Card? \"


    The owner seems shocked \" You don''t have an ID card... Sir do you lost your ID card? \" Arias says that he does not have an ID card on him, Arias also ask about the ID card. The owner replied that an ID card was to make sure you a citizen of this country and to make sure you not a slave. \" If you have that much money, I rather suggest you create your ID card or you will be label as a slave. \" The owner show Arias the way to the ID card registration center.


    The Country of Libetia was originally a country that offers slave. A citizen that does not have enough money to make an ID card will be label as a slave and have to work for money. If the slave has enough money to make an ID card, they can be a normal citizen of the country. This rule was to make a sure citizen of this country work hard or else they became a slave.


    Arias then makes his way to that place, as soon he arrives there he saw many people in the registration center. Arias waited almost two hours for his name to be called to make his ID card. Arias sit down on the chair.


    \" Sir please fill out this paper regarding your personal information .\" Arias fill out the rest of the paper but he leaves one information blank. \"Sir, you don''t fill in your job information. \" Arias knows that he does not have a job and he told the assistant that he does not have any job now. The assistant says that if someone does not have any job they will be registered as a traveler. \"Sir, your name is Arias, age 25, job status traveler. Is that all correct? \" Arias nodded and said it was true. \" Okay Sir, it''s all done, please come back tomorrow to get your ID card. Arias agreed then he left.


    \"I guess I have to wait until tomorrow then, I better find an inn to sleep for today before it gets too dark .\"


    Arias then stumbled upon the NPC that promoting their inn earlier. \" Pardon me miss, I want to know where your inn located? \" The female NPC shocked as Arias approach her from behind. The female NPC maintains her composure and tells Arias that the inn located near the center of the town and the inn name was Prunes Inn. Arias thanks the female NPC and headed the inn. A few minutes later, Arias arrive at the inn and tell the innkeeper of the inn to rent a room for one night.


    \" It will cost you twenty gold per night,\" says the owner to Arias.


    Arias then pay twenty gold coin and the owner shows Arias the way to his room. The room was quite nice and very big, the bed was quite comfortable and it was very fluffy. The innkeeper smile to Arias and told him to enjoy the stay, after that the innkeeper goes back to the inn to entertain the guest. Arias was glad that he makes that wish, \"to see the NPC behave like this, this is the greatest feeling ever.\" Arias then headed to the inn to get something to eat, the orders of some beef and a cup of water and began eating. While he was eating, he heard someone was talking about Princess Elna. The man was talking about Princess Elna having a child this year, upon hearing that I was shocked and interrupted their conversation.


    \"Princess Elna having a child? whose child?\"


    \"You do not hear anything at all, of course, the child of Princess Elna and Prince Valid.\"


    I never expect that the princess marries the evil prince. The two-man told me that the princess and prince loved each other. The kidnapping of the princess was the idea of the princess, the king does not want his princess to marry the prince because the prince came from a common birth. After that whole incident, the king realized that he was too selfish. He finally agreed on the relationship and there have a big wedding two years ago.


    I cry as I ran into the outside of the town, laying down on the grass. Staring the blue sky as I let my tear fall. I never knew that my crush already has someone, the NPC has their thought now... I should know it even better. Now I have no purpose in this game, I should die... I should wish that Princess Elna become my wife.

 3 Little Girl

    After a few hours, I finally calmed down a bit. Realizing that there were many things that I could do now, I could even found someone new. Suddenly, a little girl approaches me and gave me a flower.


    \"Mister, here a flower for you.\"


    I was surprised that the little girl gave me a flower, I say thanks and asked her why she gave me this flower.


    \"My parents always gave me a flower when I am crying and I thought I do the same, is that wrong?\"


    I smiled and said, \" You did the right thing see how I''m smiling now, by the way where is your parent''s little girl?\"


    \"My parents died a long time ago, I always here because the flowers remind me of my parents\"


    I felt something wasn''t right and quickly ask her, \"How old are you and where are you living now?\"


    She showed the number of ten by raising his both hand and then show me the place she lives and I was shocked because the girl pointed to that broken house. The house seems to be burned down and there was no way that the girl can live there.


    \"How did your parents die and what happens?\"


    The girl could not seem to remember what happened and said that a scary looking guy appeared in the house ... She could not remember what happened afterwards.


    I felt sorry for her and I ask her if she wanted to come with me as if I let her live there alone again because she might die there. Surprisingly that she agreed to come along with me.


    I asked her why and she replied that I resemble the late father''s face, also that I am very nice to her. After hearing she says that I quickly replied that she can think of me as her dad. She became happy and hug me. \"Thanks ...\"


    I almost forgot to ask her name \"What is your name?\"


    \"Lily is my name\" she replied.


    \"So your name is Lily, Lily lets head back to the town\"


    We started to go back into the town and Lily seems to be happy with me, still, I feel sad about my dream to marry Princess Elna and I could manage to forget about it in the future. Lily holds my hand tightly as we passing the town gate. Lily seems to be scared about something and I asked her why.


    Lily told me that she feels that something been watching her when we enter the town earlier. I told her that maybe it was nothing and just your imagination.


    \"But don''t worry if anything bad happens, I promised that I will be there to protect you.\"


    I spend most of my time on this day just to show Lily around the town and make her feel comfortable around the townspeople. I went back to the inn with Lily and ask the Innkeeper if I could rent another room for Lily. The Innkeeper tells me that there a room and it just 10 gold coins for you. The Innkeeper asked me why I ask for another room cause I could just share my room with Lily.


    \"I not a lolicon and don''t want to be labeled as lolicon.\"


    \"Lolicon?\"


    \"Let''s just forget what I say just now and show us to the room please?\"


    The Innkeeper immediately drop down the question and show us the way to Lily''s room, Lily room was just next to me. After the Innkeeper shows us the room he immediately left as he has many jobs to do. I told Lily that if anything happens or she need anything just knock at my door and I will open it. After that Lily went to her room and I went to my room.


    To think that so much thing happens in one day, \"I guess it is a busy day today in this new world for me.\" I began to think about the NPC in the inn earlier, he says that Princess Elna''s big wedding was 2 years ago. The time of this world already moving on its own, but how. After thinking for a few minutes, I have some sort of theory about how the time began to move in this world.


    It just means that there was a player that has found the blue flower petal ahead of me and they found it 2 years ago. That explained why none of the players in the game post about successfully findings the blue flower petal. As soon as the player gets it and wish for their wishes, the player immediately transfers here. That was the most reasonable theory for this.


    \"So my aim to find other players in this world that will be hard.\"


    This game map was large and have many kingdom, town, village. But what if this new world was different from the game and have similarities to earth. That will be much harder to find another player because if I remember correctly that only 5 blue flower petal that the developer of the game adds in for the special quest. That means only 5 player was in this world.


    \"My brains will hurt from this much of thinking, better go to sleep.\"


    I then began to lie down on my bed and started to sleep. I sleep pretty well for the next 6 hours but suddenly my sleep was disturbed by a screaming sound. I then wake up and began noticing that my room was on fire and smoke coming out from the outside room. I hear the sound of my door room being knocked by someone and I immediately open the door to see who knock it and what happens outside. The person who knocks my door was Lily, she was crying and her face frightened by the fire that happens on the inn.


    \"Don''t worry Lily, I here now. Hold me tightly and don''t ever let go, we will get out from this place.\"


    What happens to this inn and why it was on fire? I hope everyone in this inn was okay and already get out of this place.

 4 Daemons

    We somehow managed to escape the inn but after we went outside the inn. It was horrible, the whole town is on fire. I tried to see if any people were around but there were none. All I could think of that all the townspeople have already fleed or have to take shelter somewhere.


    Suddenly a scream of a woman shouting for help can be heard nearby, I grabbed Lily''s hand and started to run to that place. A shadow figure was attacking that woman, I quickly dashed to the shadow figure and attack him with my fist. The shadow figure vanished and turn into some black liquid, luckily for me, my gloves were enchanted by magic that boosts my attack if I strike with my fist.


    \"Are you okay miss? \" As I lend my hand to help her to stand up.


    \"I''m okay but please help the other at the church.\"


    \"What happens in this town?\" I need all the information on these events.


    \"I don''t know much but the knight in the church said that the Demon Lord may be the cause of these attacks. It was a sudden attack and the knight order us all to evacuate in the church.\"


    \"So why are you out here? Did something happen inside the church?\"


    \"The knights that protecting the church were defeated so easily and I thought that I was gonna die if I stay at that place so I tried to escape.\"


    \"I will check out the church but please look after Lily and get out of this town, I will catch up to you later.\"


    Lily seems to dislike my idea but I told her that I promise to come back after this. Before I go to the church, I must confirm that Lily and that woman leave the town safely. After they left the town safely, I quickly go to the church as I saw many knights and townspeople corpse in the ground. I did not encounter any of the shadowy figures on my way to the church.


    After entering the church, I see all the townspeople and the knights were still there and still safe. I was glad that the townspeople still alive and I told the knights that it''s better to escape from this town. Something weird here, why we''re all the people here were smiling instead of being scared and the atmosphere here was rather quiet.


    \"Sir knight do you hear me?\"


    It seems that he can''t hear me, what happened in here. I got a bad feeling in this place but I should investigate it more. As I started to walk past the knights I hear a peal of laughter behind me, I quickly turned around but there was no one there.


    [Strange Voice]

    Suddenly all the people in that church turn into shadowy figures and started to attack me. I was caught off guard and took some minor damage. Somehow I managed to defeat some of the shadowy figures and make my run to escape the church.


    I never saw these shadowy figures in the game before, what are they. The shadowy figures keep spawning after I defeated them. They are weak but if they keep coming I may be out of stamina in no time. The strange voice suddenly speaks again.

    \"You seem strong and different from the other townspeople. I guess I need to kill you personally then.\"


    All the shadowy figures began to merged up and become something. It forming a body and some armor. After I look it was a person in armor with a spear, suddenly it started to speak to me.


    \"No one ever lives after seeing my true form and allow me to introduce myself.\"


    \"I am the Aeon, The Demon Lord Aeon or known as the Fallen Abyss.\"


    I quickly check his level and profile.

    His level already surpassed mine and his title is something I must worry about. I never fought a demon lord in the game before but I heard that the other player also have a hard time fighting this thing and need 15 player or more to defeat this. Only the top player of the game can fight this beast one by one.


    Suddenly my mind starts to think that I not in the game world anymore and I could die if he attacks me. I assume that there are no respawning this time as I only have this life. I am not like the hero in the anime I watch that always win no matter what, I not even the main character, I was the fifth person that get transfer in this world. I, not the hero, I am not brave. I just need to make sure I survive and get out of this town so I just need to run from here.


    \"There is no shame in running away and even people get scared of something right.\" as I started to run towards the town gate.


    Aeon started to laugh at me.


    \"You''re the first one who tried to run away from, I guess it''s true that you are not like the other people I met that was foolish enough to fight me even though they have 0% of winning.\"


    Aeon suddenly reappears in front of me and punch me in the stomach. The punch was too powerful, I sent away by the force of the punch and slammed into the church wall.

    The damage I took from that punch was huge and my health is low because of that. One more hit and I will die from this battle. His speed is crazy, I thought that I could outrun him. I guess my only decision here is to fight here and make it out from here alive. I quickly pull out my health potion from my inventory to restore my health to full and make my battle stance.


    \"It seems that you made up your mind, at last, I sure hope this fight is entertaining.\"

 5 First Figh

    This fight is gonna be hard but luckily I have a slight advantage on this one. This world still uses the game interface and system as I could quickly draw any item from my inventory. Still, I need to add a quick shortcut to the item that I would use in this battle.


    I need to make his attention focus on something else besides me, the inventory management will take some time and I would get hit if I want to sort my item now. What is a good way to distract him from me? A bright idea suddenly popped into my head and then I placed my hand in the ground.


    \"Hey! Are you ready to fight cause you will be killed in one attack by me.\"


    Aeon seems to fall for my taunt and dashed toward me. He doesn''t seem to know that I have placed an ice rune in front of me. That would make him freeze for a few seconds and that is the time that I must quickly manage my item or else I would lose this fight.


    As Aeon continue to dash forward and when he steps on my ice rune, the ice rune was activated and the ice freezes Aeon in the area for a few seconds. I quickly jump behind and sort my item in a hurry cause the ice would not hold him that long.


    \"You think that this ice magic of you will hold me for long... You are mistaken human.\"


    The ice that been holding Aeon started to break and then he manages to escape. Aeon then laughs on my statement last time that I would kill him in just one punch. He then blinks behind me and releases his skill. It was so fast that I couldn''t react at all.


    A large explosion happens...


    \"No one ever survived my skill! HAHAHAHAHA.\"


    \"Wait...You the first human I kill using this skill but sadly you already die now\"


    Aeon continues to laugh and he suddenly stops when he saw me come out from that explosion, he was shocked.


    \"You supposed to be dead! How could this be?\"


    I could die if I do not drink all the stats booster potion that boosts my stats, health, and its regeneration speed. I survived because I manage to sort my item on time and drink the potion. I would never think that Aeon uses three skills at the same time and all of it was high-level skills on me.


    \"You could say I already saw that attack coming.\"


    Aeon was furious and his aura changed drastically and he began to change his spear stance and charging his spear. This is my chance to attack him while he was charging his spear, I quickly run toward him for an attack but instead I was the one who is attacked by him.


    I sustained a lot of damage, I was taken by surprise by his charging speed. Most of the player have to charge their spear for a longer time and he just takes a few seconds. It clear to me know that I have no chance of winning against Aeon. I thought that I have an advantage because of the game system in this world but I was wrong. Aeon skill is too great compared to me and I never fought a Demon Lord in the game before.


    I just run away from this battle, I can''t even survive this fight. While I was busy thinking, Aeon launches me who is not focus in this fight into the air and follows up with a series of powerful blows. Then I fall to the ground as my health dropping low, I couldn''t do anything as I just was being attacked relentlessly by Aeon.

    My vision becomes red and my stats booster is nearly reaching the time limit. I began to think why should I live in this world with no purpose. Princess Elna already married and I have no attachment to this world, I would gladly accept my dead.


    Then I remember that I have promised Lily that I would protect him. I suddenly spam on my health potions and my health was restored to full. I rise from the ground and drink all my stats booster to make sure the effect will last longer.


    \"It seems that you suddenly motivated, I thought you already gave up.\"


    I can''t fight this demon lord barehanded, I must fight with a weapon but all of my weapons are a low-level weapon. As I scroll down my weapon selection, I found some good weapons with nice stats that will help me fight the Demon Lord Aeon.


    I take out the sword from my inventory and Aeon was surprised when he saw my weapon.

    The sword that I get from just login in the game 1st Anniversary, It has great stats but many players just sold the sword because they already own a better sword but I have no time to sell it cause I was to busy repeating a quest. I don''t know if this sword is deadly to the demon lord but the base damage is great compared to my bare-handed stats.


    \"You gonna attack me with that giant banana! Humans sure do stupid stuff when they close to death...HAHAHAHAHA!\"

    My agility isn''t fast as Aeon so I can''t attack him from behind, I have to be quick to attack when he near me. Aeon suddenly vanished and reappear behind me, I already prepared for his attack and managed to counter him and land an attack to him. He began to shout in agony as the attack make large damage to him.


    Aeon becomes furious and started to attack relentlessly using his skill. He could not see that he already fall into my trap. Aeon already steps on my Ice Rune and will be frozen up for a few seconds.


    I quickly take out another weapon that is more powerful than the ChocoBanana and hoping it would end this battle.

 6 Help!

    Hoping that it would make large damage, I quickly switch my weapon to the Lolipop-Staff. While Aeon still froze there for a few seconds.

    Additional Effects: A blast from the Lolipop has an unpredictable damage effect


    This staff will give random damage to an opponent based on their level and their magic stats. The charging cost of this staff took a lot of mana but luckily my stats allow me to play any class I want because I distribute the attribute point equally.


    The charging of the staff took only a few seconds and I unleash the magic of the staff. A blast of fire that does unpredictable points of damage was aimed at Aeon and he cannot dodge it because he has frozen there. Aeon was on fire and take extra damage, he screams in agony while he was in that flame.

    Swapping my weapon to ChocoBanana and me about to deliver the final blow to Aeon but suddenly a hand come up from a portal in front Aeon and stopped my attack. The hand started to pull me and my sword to the portal. I quickly let go of the sword and step back.


    \"This human giving you trouble Aeon? You''re are the one of The Great Satan Exion General and a human is beating you.\"


    The fire that engulfed Aeon disappeared and another demon appeared beside Aeon. I check his profile, his stats, level, and the title was similar to Aeon.

    I knew that I was in trouble because if they started to fight me together I would lose this battle. While I was suddenly thinking, big portals were open behind them and many demons come out from that portal.

    My stats booster will only hold on for four minutes more. If the fight is one on one I will emerge victoriously but this is just too unfair, a man fights two demons lord and its army is just impossible.


    Even though the demon army is a low-level soldier that the only level 30 but there were just too many.

    Even the hope is 0% but the fight will continue, I can''t run away either. I must stop them and make sure they will never take over this town.

    Ozger laughs and he commends my fighting spirit, \"But I think this is why the human race was foolish, Demons soldier! attack that human.\"


    All the demons soldier start to attack me, the demon army manage to overwhelmed me by their number and I cannot defend myself as I will run out of stamina soon, I on the verge of losing. I was to focus fighting and I didn''t notice that one demon soldier was already behind me and was about to attack me.


    \"Crap! I can''t dodge this..\"


    An arrow suddenly hit the demon soldier behind me and all the demon soldiers stop their attack on me. All the demons soldiers were confused where that arrow came and suddenly I heard a voice shout.

    I know that skill, Blast Barrage is a bow attack skill that fires an arrow up in the air, which splits and rains down in a series of massive explosions over an area.


    I didn''t realize that I was on that skill area and completely defenseless against that attack. The explosion began and many of the demon soldiers start to run away. The explosion damage and AoE radius were very large and I have to run away from that affected skill area.


    The explosion continues as I still running away, but it seems many of the demon soldiers were annihilate by that explosion. Who is the one that uses that skill? A skill that only can be used if someone reaches Level 100. Thinking into that it may be a player using that skill.

    A female voice can be heard not far from my place and she was shouting at me.


    \"Get over here quickly! We''re about to use Ohgma Infin...\"


    After hearing that word, I ran as quickly as possible but my stats booster was already reaching its time limit and now I am running at a normal speed. My stamina drop very fast and my speed is decreasing, I checked if I still have MP left.

    There no time left, I have to use the skills even it will cost my mana and health. A layered of a magical circle can be seen in the sky and the Ohgma Infinium was ready to be used.

    Suddenly a young adult girl grabs me when I was about to collapse and quickly teleported me to somewhere else. I fainted because my stamina is empty.

    Suddenly a man enters the tent and starts shouting when he sees me already waken from my sleep.

    The man gets knock over his head by that girl that saves me earlier.


    \"There is no need for shouting! I was just outside the tent and besides there a patient here!\" she yells at that man.


    \"But captain... You also shouting just now.\"


    The girl is getting angry and told that man to go outside the tent to prepare some food. The man quickly left the tent, then she glares at me.


    \"Uhmm... Hello?\" I say with a bit anxious.

 7 Rescuer

    \"Do you feel better, sorry for my subordinate''s behavior,\" she says in a soft voice.


    \"I''m feeling better, thanks for asking but may I ask who you are and why did you save me,\" I ask her because I have my doubts against it.


    \"To be honest the little girl beside you tell us your current situation at that time, we found her with another girl. This little girl begged us to save her father in that town and told us about the demon.\"


    She smiled at me and says \"You were brave to protect your family...even to sacrifice your own life.\"


    \"I will protect Lily no matter what the danger is... I will never leave her but who are you?\" at the same time, I check her profile.

    Her level was pretty high compared to me, but the name seems familiar. I can''t seem to remember what it is.

    \"So you knew about the demon attack?\" Suddenly I remember that I forgot to ask about the town that was attacked by the demon just now. \"What happens to the town?\"


    \"The demons retreated after we use our magic.\"


    \"Are there any survivors?\"


    Xaniela hesitated. \"No, there are none, the only survivor was your family.\"


    \"If only I realized the attack earlier, I could save all the townspeople,\" Arias replied as he punches his hand to the ground.


    \"It''s not your fault, we were the one to blame.\" She says that while holding my hand. \"If we arrive in this town earlier, we could warn this town about the attack.\"


    They both look at each other eyes for a moment. Suddenly they were interrupted by the man that left the tent earlier. \"Food is ready! Captain!\"


    Xaniela then faces her head into the man''s direction. \"Greg! I can hear, so stop shouting.\" Xaniela stands up and knocks that man''s head before leaving the tent. The man was looking straight at me.


    \"Hey, I''m Greg... Sorry about that.\" Greg then gave me and Lily each a bowl soup. \"Here take this, some food for both of you.\" He smiled at us and then leave the tent.


    After we both finish eating, I ask Lily about the other girl that escaped the town with Lily back then. Lily replies that the girl was fine but she feels sad about what has happened with the people in the town and feels guilty about it.


    Then Greg enters the tent. \"Do you feel better because my captain wants to see you outside the tent, she has something important to speak to you.\"


    I check my stamina bar.


    Stamina: 3000/3000


    It seems that I have fully recovered my stamina back and I tried to stand up. Greg then asks me to follow him to the outside of the camp. I grabbed Lily''s hand and follow him to the outside.


    As soon that I headed outside the tent I was shocked and couldn''t believe my eyes that I was in the cities already. \"Where the heck is I am? I thought that we were somewhere close to Town Baroda.\"


    Greg laughs and smiles at me \"Actually after the battle in Town Baroda and checking the destroyed town, we use our teleporter item to go back into our kingdom here.\"


    I feel confused as I thought the teleporter item cannot be used in this game. \"How can you use the teleporter item while I can''t.\"


    After hearing my word, he seems a little shock. \"You have a teleporter item too? That means you must be one of them being that been brought to this world.\"


    Greg seems excited and I could tell from his facial expressions that seem happy. \"I never thought that you are the chosen one that will save our world from the demons.\"


    I become much more confused after hearing Greg''s word. \"I indeed came from another world and if you have a teleporter item it means that you also a player right?\"


    \"I''m not a player but only the king and our team know about the chosen one, the king wanted it to be a secret about the chosen hero because it stirs up a big problem in the world,\" Greg says that with a very low voice. He scared that the people will hear about this.


    I become much more curious about this. \"How your king knows that some certain hero from another will come to save this world?\" I ask Greg.


    \"I couldn''t say it here... Please follow me to the castle and the king will explain everything to you.\" He whispered to my ear.


    \"Can I bring Lily? There''s no one here to look after her.\" Greg nodded and makes an okay signal with his hand.


    I never saw these cities nor this kingdom before in the game. It feels like this was a new area that I never discovered yet while searching the blue flower petal on the game. I was so fascinated by the beauty of this undiscovered kingdom.


    \"Why I never saw this Kingdom before in my game.\"My voice blurted out while I was thinking.


    Greg hears what I am saying and immediate response to what I said. \"The reason why you never saw this Kingdom before because this Kingdom just exist 3 years ago and the name of this new Kingdom was the Golkiem Kingdom.


    I never expected that this world has a bit different from the game I play, I thought that this world will be similar to the game world but my guess is wrong.


    \"Haha, I forgot to ask your name hero,\" Greg says that with laughter.


    \"My name is Arias,\" I replied to Greg''s questions as we keep on walking


    After a few minutes of walking through the city, we finally arrived at the castle front and I can see that Xaniela is waiting for us there.


    Meetings the king, am I the chosen one?

 8 Other Players

    Xaniela stood there and then approach Greg. \"What took you guys so long to get here, the king already waiting for us.\" She sounds a little angry.


    \"I''m sorry, I was too happy knowing this man was one of the chosen beings and I forgot that we should meet up,\" Greg says that with a calm voice.


    After hearing that she couldn''t believe what Greg has said. \"Greg, you sure he was from another world too?\" She wanted to confirm it cause she still could not believe it.


    Greg asked me to show Xaniela my teleporter items and after she gets a close look at it. She quickly took my hands and went into the castle. Xaniela seems to be happy about this matter.


    \"The king will be happy to hear about this news.\"


    The castle interior was big and the color was too shiny because of the golden color. I wonder that if this castle was made of gold and the king must be a rich man. If not how could he build his kingdom?


    When we enter the throne room, the room was filled with knight and I saw the girl that I save at Town Baroda, she was already there speaking to the king.


    I looked at the king and I awe for a moment. I was so amazed by the king armor, it was a full armor set of the legendary Phoniex Armor. If I remember correctly it was the most powerful armor because it has the perfect offense and defense stats. It even boosts your stats and has 80% magic resistance of any magic.


    In the meantime, I check the king profile and I couldn''t stop myself to be amazed by his level. I know that the game max level was level 500 and he was nearly there.

    King Rainard heard what I said to Lily. \"I don''t mind, she was only a child and besides that, I don''t like people to bow for me. I''m a human and not a god so please don''t bow.\"


    After we heard what King Rainard said, we all stand up. Xaniela then approaches King Rainard and started to whisper something. Upon hearing what Xaniela said, he orders the knight and all the people in this room to leave except me, Xaniela and Greg.


    \"Your majesty, can Lily stay here?\" I ask because King Rainard do not mention about Lily.


    \"I''m sorry, this is an important matter\" He then asks Greg to take care of Lily, while we talk about these issues he said.


    I said to Lily that she needs to leave the rooms for a while because I have something to discuss with the king. \"Greg will take care of you for a while.\" Lily nodded, then they leave the rooms.


    After all the people leave, King Rainard stands up from the throne chair and puts his hand on my shoulder. I was surprised by the king''s action because a king should not put his hand like that.


    \"Your Majesty? you should not act like this.\" I said that with full of respect towards him.


    King Rainard started to laugh, \"Why should I act like a king to a fellow gamer and another person that also been transferred here.\"


    Upon hearing what King Rainard said I was in a state of shock. \"That means you also a player of the game that has been transferred here.\" I couldn''t believe that this guy also a player in the game.


    King Rainard continues to laugh, \"Hahahaa!, Yes I and Xaniela were the player of the game.\"


    \"Wait a minute! Xaniela was also a player in the game.\" I couldn''t believe what King Rainard said at that moment.

    \"I will keep my special skills as a secret.\" King Rainard says as he laughs to Arias.


    I feel that I had been tricked by King Rainard. \"You said that you will tell me your special skills if I told you my name and level.\"


    Then Xaniela put her hand to my shoulder. \"You know that Rainard only messing around with you right? He always does that...\"


    \"Don''t need to feel sad...I''m just joking hahaha!\" King Rainard laughs as he pats my head.


    Then King Rainard and Xaniela told me about their special skills, their special skill was even better than my special skill. Xaniela''s special skill was she can conjure a legendary spear \"Olyndicus Spear\" that can kill a single enemy with one hit but there were some side effects when she uses the skill, all her stats will drop to 1 making Xaniela an easy target after she uses that skill.


    On the other hand, King Rainard''s special skill was even better...He can swap his armor to any armor that exists in the game. But the only downside about this skill was he need a lot of gold as an exchange to that armor value, the rarest armor costs a lot of gold. I wonder how much gold for that Phoniex Armor he using now.


    \"Okay, now we need to discuss the real problem here.\" King Rainard began talking seriously as he slowly sitting back to his throne. \"Is she the only survivor of Town Baroda?\"


    I think she refers to the girl from Town Baroda as I quickly replied yes as she was the only survivor.


    \"Damn! If I made the right decision back then this would never happen...\" King Rainard seems upset.


    \"This was not your mistake Rainard, it was Exelon fault... he was the one to blame,\" Xaniela says that to King Rainard.


    I was confused as I don''t know what were they talking about, I started to get curious and ask Xaniela and Rainard about it. \"Who is Exelon?\"


    \"I forgot to tell you this...Exelon was the second player to enter this world and also the top player of the game.\" King Rainard says to me.


    King Rainard started to explain everything to me. \"I meet Exelon in the ruins of Stemnar, I immediately recognize Exelon as he is the top player of the game. I was very excited at that time that I was able to meet a player that has been transferred here like me. I told everything that I know about this world to him and we decided to find a way to get out of this world. We began our adventure and we began to know more about this world.\"


    King Rainard let out a sigh.


    \"Until we found a book that explains everything for us transferring here, the real purpose was to become the ultimate player and be the last survivor. That was the only way to get out of this world, I didn''t like to kill another player but Exelon sees the other way around. He wanted to get out of this world and then he tried to kill me the moment we know the purpose of us being transfer here. At that time he was a lot stronger than me and I decided to run away from him, I never saw him since then.\"


    I am still curious about Exelon and why does he have to do with the demon attacks. King Rainard then told me that he was the leader of the demons and he called himself the great DEMON KING EXELON.


    King Rainard told me that he discovered this after his battle with one of the fallen abyss. The fallen abyss told him that the Demon King Exelon will conquer this world and he will not be able to defeat him. After that, the demon flees away because King Rainard deals him a lot of damage. He knew that Exelon has become evil and wanted to kill all the players that were transferred here. King Rainard then decided to gather the rest of the player before Exelon kill them and defeat Exelon together.


    \"So we need to gather the rest of the player but how many were transfer here?\" I said as there might be more of us in this world.


    \"There will be only five players that will get transfer here and we just need to find the fifth player that has been transferred here.\" King Rainard says to me.


    I started to realize something is wrong here, \" If I remember correctly when I first transfer here, there a voice telling me that I''m the fifth player than been transfer here.\" I said it to Rainard.


    \"What you the fifth player? I thought you were the fourth player.\" Xaniela says that in surprise.


    \"So that means you guys never meet the fourth player yet?\" I ask both of them.


    They both say yes and they thought I was the fourth player. King Rainard told us that maybe the fourth player already dies because he and Xaniela never meet the fourth player when they traveling the world.


    Suddenly we get interrupted by Grey as he opens the door room.


    \"I''m sorry to interrupt my lord but we have received a letter from the Northern Kingdom.\" He approaches King Rainard and gives him the letter.


    As King Rainard reading the letter he was shocked as something terrible has happened. He immediately as Greg to assemble the rest of the team, Greg then leaves the room.


    I ask what has happened and what was the content of the letter as I was curious to know why King Rainard was shocked. He tells me that the demon attacked the Northern Kingdom and require an assistant to defend from the demon attacks.


    A few minutes later Greg has returned with the team and I was quite impressed by their level as their level was above me.


    \"We heard the Northern Kingdom was attacked by the demons, was it true?.\" Said the man with the mage outfits.

 10 The Meeting

    \"What you had heard was true and that why I gather all of you here.\" King Rainard then stands up from his throne.


    The other people look at me as they wonder why am I doing here in this room. I tried to smile at them but they just ignore me. Suddenly, an elf speaks to King Rainard asking who am I and why I am still here as this was a private matter between them.


    King Rainard then replies, \"No need to worry Neyla, this person was the chosen being the same as me and Xaniela.\"


    Neyla couldn''t believe what she has heard and started to get closer to me but her action was stopped after hearing King Rainard told them that the demon has destroyed half of the Northern Kingdom. All the people shocked after hearing that news and the person with the mage outfit started to speak.


    \"Pardon me, my lord. Do you believe their message in that letter as this may be just an act by their king to kill our best soldier in their kingdom.\"


    \"I agree with what Elan said as the Northern Kingdom always wanted to eliminate us as they grow weary of our place in this world,\" Xaniela said that as she worries that this may be a trap.


    King Rainard began to think for a moment and his answer was rather expected by us. He told us that no matter what, we still need to see it with our own eyes but he also wanted to take a precaution, instead of sending an army he will send a few people there.


    \"I have decided that I will send Xaniela, Neyla, and Arias to go there.\"


    I was quite surprised when I heard my name was mention in the team that will go to the Northern Kingdom as I barely know anything about this world yet.


    \"Umm...King Rainard? Can I decline this mission as I don''t....\" The whole room was silent after I said that.


    The silence was a break after King Rainard ask me why I decline this mission.


    \"I barely know you guys and sending me to a mission without asking what I think is kinda one-sided and....\" My talk was interrupted by Elan.


    \"How dare you decline a mission that was given by the King, I know that you were too afraid to go there right?.\"


    This Elan guy pissed me off as I started to reply to his statement. \"What wrong for being afraid? If I die I will never respawn because I only had one life! Why don''t you go there instead of me...\"


    \"I will go there but this was not my mission and the king want you to be in it and if I were you I will gladly die for my kingdom.\"


    We continue our argument until we were stopped by King Rainard.


    \"Elan stop your argument with Arias!\" King Rainard scold Elan for his behavior.


    Elan frustrated as he was the only one that being scold by King Rainard. \"Why my king? I just....\"


    \"I said stop Elan as this was my fault, to begin with, Arias was not even a member of this team and a citizen of this kingdom yet I order him to join this mission.\" After he said that, King Rainard apologized to me.


    I also apologized to King Rainard for the problem that I had caused. King Rainard then replace me with Elan for the journey to the Northern Kingdom. After finish discussing all of the plans, King Rainard dismiss all the people beside me as he wanted to talk something with me privately.


    When all the people in the room have left, Kinng Rainard began to speak. \"I''m sorry about what had happened earlier, but may I ask you what will you do now?\"


    \"Nah It''s fine, I never really thought what will I do next but honestly I wanted to explore this new world. As there so many new things in this world that I yet discovered.\"


    \"I understand but remember if you saw Exelon just ran away as he was far too powerful to be handle alone.\" King Rainard reminded me that the player killer Exelon will send his fallen abyss to kill me and I should be careful.


    After then King Rainard allow me to leave as there was nothing else to talk about and wanted me to explore his kingdom. I then leave the room and saw Greg was waiting for me outside. He told me that Xaniela has taken Lily to the garden just a moment ago. I ask the direction of the garden and he then gives me the directions.


    After a few minutes of walking, I finally found the garden. Lily saw me, she quickly runs towards me and then hugs me tightly. \"Are you done talking with the King?\" Lily ask me. I replied that I had finished my talk with the King.


    Xaniela walks to me and says that what will you do now as I said that I wanted to find a place to sleep and eat for today. Xaniela offers me to stay in the castle but I decline the offer as I want to stay in the inn and explore the area. I didn''t tell Xaniela my actual reason for not staying in the castle that because of Elan.


    She then guides me to the best inn in the kingdom. While we walking down the road, I notice that many of the citizens stare at her. I overheard some of the citizens talk about how beautiful Xaniela was and some of them wonder who am I.


    I stared at Xaniela and I just began to notice that her character was an elf, with that long red hair she was indeed beautiful but still, my heart can''t seem to forget about Princess Elna even though she was already married.


    At last, we arrive at the inn. Xaniela talks to the innkeeper to give me and Lily the best room there was in the inn. She also pays our food and the rent in advance to the innkeeper before she headed back to the castle.

 11 Champion Armor

    I and Lily sit down at the chair and order some food, it''s good that Xaniela already pays up for all of it. I should thank her later, Lily and I started to eat after the innkeeper deliver the food to our table.


    The food was delicious and I see that Lily also enjoys her food.


    After we finish eating our meal, I ask Lily if she wanted to explore the area as we still have plenty of time before nighttime arrives. Lily agrees as she also wanted to see the area and its people. We then head outside the inn and began our sightseeing.


    The people in this kingdom were nice to us and show us some good location in this kingdom. They told us to visit the marketplace, the arena, library, and grand church as it was the main attraction of this kingdom. We make our way marketplace first as I wanted to buy some new equipment.


    The marketplace was crowded by people and the merchant also promoting their goods to the people making the marketplace a rowdy place. I hold Lily''s hand tightly as I was afraid that she might get lost in the crowd as I started browsing the marketplace for my equipment. After a few minutes of browsing, I never found any good equipment in the marketplace as they just sell some basic equipment and some food. I bought Lily a pendant as she was staring at it earlier.


    We then headed to the arena but along the way, we stumble across Greg. He smiles at us and asks us where are we going. I tell him that we on our way to the arena and I ask him the same question.


    He told me that he was going to the blacksmith to get his weapon repair. I immediately ask him if the blacksmith sells any good equipment as I wanted to replace mine. Greg then told me that their equipment is the best as the craftsmen are from the Baetor Kingdom, a dwarf kingdom. There are well known for their magical weapon and armor.


    Greg then asks us if we wanted to follow him to the blacksmith place as that place is pretty hard to find. I accept the offer and we tag along with Greg to the blacksmith place, as we still on our way to the blacksmith place. I ask Greg a few questions on how he met King Rainard and the others.


    Greg then tells me his story, \"If memory serves me right, I meet King Rainard in the battle of the Fallmerrow Mount. That time I was still a mercenary working for the Roccirus Kingdom, I was sent there to help the soldier to defeat the demons. We tried to fight those demons but the Roccirus soldier was not that powerful and our casualties increase day by day. The General knew that we had to retreat to Fallmerrow Mount and think a better strategy to beat the demons....\"


    Suddenly Greg stops talking as we arrive at our destination, the blacksmith shop. I wanted to know more of Greg''s story but I guess we had to stop for now. We then enter the shop, but we saw no one was around at the shop.


    \"Hey, master do you at your forge?\" Greg shout and a few moments later someone replied the Greg shout and telling Greg to wait for a minute.


    Few minutes have passed and a dwarf appears from the back store. \"Greg! Do you come here to repair your weapon again...\" He then paused for a few seconds after seeing me and Lily there. \"And who are this man and this little girl?\" He asks Greg.


    When Greg tells him who am I and Lily, I check the dwarf level and name.

    \"Hey Fozir could you repair my sword, don''t worry about Arias... I will show him the best armor and weapon in the store.\" Greg gives his sword to Fozir, Fozir then goes to the forge and leaving all to Greg to help me with my equipment selection.


    Greg then shows me the best light armor that the store has but Greg doesn''t know what enchantment those armors have. He then apologized to me and goes to the forge to get Fozir to tell me what sort of enchantment those armors have.


    When Greg goes to the forge to get Fozir, I realize that I could use my game system mechanics to see the armor enchantment. I then focus my vision on a certain armor and suddenly the armor stats appear in my eyes.

    I never heard any Champion armor sets in the game before, it may be a new armor set in this new world. The armor rating was quite good and the enchantment also really nice. The armor style and its white and golden color also look really good... I guess I will buy this armor.

 12 Mercenary

    A few minutes later, Fozir and Greg come out from the back store. I immediately ask Fozir if I can buy this Champion armor set as I want it.


    \"You have a good eye on picking a good armor, I could sell you this armor but you should know the story behind this armor.\" Fozir started to tell the story.


    \"Legends say this armor is once the armor of one of the five old heroes, it was very hard for me to get the armor from the other merchant as the price was too high. But somehow I managed to get it and I thought I could sell it for a higher price because the armor set is now complete. Sadly, everyone who buys this armor returns it to me as they said the armor is cursed. All the previous owners told me that every night they dream that they wearing that armor and die in an unknown dungeon.\" Fozir ask me again whether I still want to buy that armor.


    I never expected that the armor has it cursed but it may be just some story to get a refund from Fozir. Even if the armor is cursed I am still buying it, I agree to Fozir deal and accept to buy the armor.


    \"Alright, the Champion sets cost is 25000 Gold.\"


    When I heard that it was 25000 Gold, I was shocked as it cost a lot of gold. I quickly check my gold balance and it seems that I am short of gold right now as I just need 15000 Gold more. I told Fozir that I don''t have that much gold and hoping that I just have 10000 Gold right now.


    \"I could sell the armor for 20000 Gold as the armor was cursed but for 10000 Gold, I think I can''t do that as I still need a little profit.\"


    I ask Fozir if there anything that I could do to make him sell the armor for 10000 Gold. Fozir thinks for a moment, he then told me if I could get him the 10 Mythril ore he would sell me that armor for 10000 Gold.


    \"Fozir, do you want him to die there!\" Shout Greg as he disagrees with what Fozir wants.


    I don''t know what were they talking about. \"Is getting that Mythril ore is hard and dangerous?\"


    Greg says that the place was full of high-level monster and the layout of the cave will make anyone lost and confused.


    \"It''s not that I force him to go there and he could hire some mercenary to accompany him to that cave if he wants,\" Fozir than ask me if I wanted to do it or not.


    Without any hesitation, I say yes and I will get 10 Mythril ore for that armor that I like. Greg was surprised by my answer and told me that I should hire some mercenary from the guild if I do not want to die. Fozir then gives me the map for the cave location.


    I ask Greg if he could take me to the mercenary guild but he refuses as he needs to go back to the castle after this. Greg just gives me the location of the guild, I thank Greg and leave the blacksmith shop.


    I tell Lily that we had to cancel our sightseeing to the arena, library and the grand church as I need to go somewhere else. I could tell that Lily was pretty disappointed as she making an angry face. I promise her that I would make it up for today and will give her anything that she wants instead.


    A smile lit up on Lily''s face, \"It''s a promise then!\"


    We then head to the mercenary guild location, when we arrive there and enter the guild. I could tell that all the people in the guild start looking at me.


    Suddenly all of the people in the guild go wild and start shouting. \"A customer! Do you want to hire us!\" The guild started to get louder and louder until the guild receptionist tells them to stop.


    \"I''m sorry for the noise, I am Arya the guild receptionist.\" She then asks me if I looking for a mercenary or wanted to join the guild.


    I told her that I wanted to hire some mercenary. She told me what kind of mercenary do I want as there many varieties of mercenary here.


    \"I don''t know but I just wanted someone that would help me get some Mythril ore.\"


    \"That is a rather difficult quest but first, may I ask you to tell me your name, classes and how much you willing to pay.\"


    I told Arya that my name is Arias and I am a jack of all trades but I mainly use a sword. I am even willing to pay up to 5000 Gold. She then recommends that I should hire two mercenaries and it''s better to hire one tanker class and one healer class mercenary. I agree with her recommendations and she asks me to wait a while for her to look for suitable mercenaries for me.


    I waited nearly for 15 minutes and Arya told that she has found good mercenaries for me. She then introduces the mercenaries.


    \"This is your tanker and healer, their name is Hugh and Diana. I have explained to them that you wanted to get some Mythril ore but if you wanted to discuss anything else please use the room on the left.\" Arya shows us the room.


    \"Let''s discuss our payment then,\" Hugh says that to me with a smile.


    We then enter the room and started our discussion. While we at it, I check their level as I was curious.

    Their level was pretty decent and I was surprised by that, I thought that their level will be below 50 as they were just mercenary.

 13 Quest Start!

    We continue our discussion, they wanted payment up to 3000 gold for a person as it would be a dangerous quest. I think for a moment whether I should agree to their price or not because if I pay them 3000 gold each, I will have 4000 gold left.


    I tried to negotiate with them even more and finally the agree that they will be paid for 2500 gold each but on one condition if they were badly injured I must pay them more. We decided that we all should meet up at the north gate in the morning, Hugh told me that I should prepare some supplies and healing potion for tomorrow. With that, we reach our agreement and I then leave the guild and look for some supplies.


    After I finish buying some supplies and a few healing potions. We head back to the inn for some rest, Lily immediately went to her room and sleep as she was tired following me around all day. I also feel tired, I quickly went to my room and dive into my bed.


    \"Ahh! I couldn''t sleep.\" I stare at my room ceiling for a minute. At that moment, I just realize that I couldn''t bring Lily with me tomorrow as I will be entering a dangerous place.


    \"I guess I will just ask Xaniela or Greg to look after her, it safer there than this inn.\" As I keep thinking, I don''t even realize that I am already fallen asleep because when I woke up it''s already morning.


    I take a shower and check if Lily was still sleeping. When I enter the room, I was surprised seeing Lily already woken up that earlier. Lily saw me and she was eager to start the day.


    \"Arias! Let''s go and find the Mythril Ore!\" She said that as I was very surprised.


    I tell her that she would not come with me today as it would be dangerous for her, I also tell Lily that she will go to the castle today because Xaniela will look after her. Lily began to throw a tantrum as she wanted to join me, I make another promise with her as she calms down a bit.


    We then headed to the castle and search for Xaniela, I stumbled upon Elan when we were there. Elan looks at me as he saw trash and he asks me what am I doing in the castle. I tell him that I am searching for Xaniela to discuss something important.


    \"Xaniela is in the garden this moment... and after you finish talking that important matter of your, please leave this castle because you don''t belong here,\" Elan says that and leaves us.


    When we arrive at the garden, I saw Xaniela sitting there reading a book. \"Hey, Xaniela...Good Morning.\"


    Xaniela was shocked as she didn''t notice my presence. She then replied to my greetings and ask me why I am here. I told her that I need her assistance to look after Lily while I am searching for some Mythril Ore. She was surprised to hear that I was going to the cave.


    \"Are you going there alone?\" I could tell that Xaniela was worried about me.


    \"No, there''s no way I going alone...I already hire some mercenaries to help me so no need to worry about me.\"


    \"Oh...I thought you are going alone, it''s good to have some people when exploring that cave as it would be quite dangerous.\"


    \"So could you look after Lily while I''m gone?\"


    \"Sure, why not...I don''t have anything to do today...\"


    I thanks Xaniela for looking after Lily and I also tell Lily to behave herself. I then bid them goodbye as Xaniela wishing me to be safe there.


    I quickly rush to the north gate as Hugh and Diana may be already waiting for me there. When I near the north gate, I could see that Diana was already there and waving to me. Hugh says that they have been waiting for me for an hour and thought that the quest was canceled, they just think to go back to the guild but then saw me from the distance.


    I apologized to them for being late as I tried to explain that I need someone to look after Lily when I''m gone to the cave. They understand my situation but still, Hugh was mad at me for being late.


    We then headed to the cave immediately as the cave location was pretty far from our place. We already walk a few hours and started to feel tired as we set up a camp to rest a bit.


    I take out some of our food supplies and give it to Diana and Hugh. Hugh says that the cave is not far from here and ask why do I need those Mythril Ore. I told him that I need to exchange the Mythril Ore for a full armor set.


    \"What kind of armor?\" Diana was curios.


    \"The Champion Armor...\"


    \"That cursed armor!... why do you want to buy that?\" Hugh was shocked after hearing what armor I want.


    \"It just gives you a nightmare and I wouldn''t see that as a curse that will bring any harm,\" I say to Hugh.


    \"Just a nightmare you say... I heard rumors that some of the owners die in their sleep and there a hole in their heart.\" Hugh tried to convince me that the armor has a cursed


    \"I never heard that from the blacksmith...and its just rumors, it may not be true at all.\" I didn''t believe Hugh''s story as it was based on rumors.


    \"Okay...it was your choice. It will not be me dying with a heart missing but I have already warned you.\" Hugh says it very seriously.


    After we finish resting for an hour, we continue our journey to the cave. It took us an hour and a half to finally reach the place.


    Hugh then says something before we start to enter the cave, \"remember to keep your eye open for any monster and stick together at all times.\"


    \"Yeah...Let''s us return safely after we found some ore.\" I say to Hugh and Diana.

 14 Cave Attacks

    It was dark when we enter the cave and Diana cast some light magic to make the cave brighter. We started to delve further into the cave, Hugh feels weird as we did not encounter any monster until now. He told us to be careful as he had a bad feeling about it.


    The cave was pretty big and the light magic could not brighten up all the place. Hugh recommends us to stick together and attack together if there any monster appears. We keep walking further to the place that has the Mythril ore.


    When we arrive there, Hugh was shocked as there were no Mythril Ore. He says that this place used to have a lot of the ore but somehow it has gone.


    \"Maybe someone already mines all of them?\"


    Hugh disagrees with my statement as the miners afraid to go into this cave because of the monster. He also told me that usually there will be some wolf and bear here or some goblin but we still not saw any monster yet.


    We keep searching for the ore until suddenly we hear a high tone and loud noise, screeching in the cave.


    \"HREEEEEEEE!!!!\"


    \"HREEEEEEEE!!!!....HREEEEEEEE!!!!\"


    We start to look around but their nothings in the cave. The sound kept getting louder and Hugh starts to shout.


    \"Diana! Cast some fire protection now!\" Hugh prepares his shield and asks me and Diana to stay behind him.


    Diana quickly cast fire protection as we also quickly get behind Hugh. I ask Hugh why we were hiding behind him.


    \"Earthen Drake...\"


    Something then crawls out from the ground as I was shocked seeing an Earthen Drake and it starts to spit out a fire as Hugh uses his Shield Protection Skill on time to tank up all the damage and protect us.


    The Earthen Drake was about ten feet tall with a body covered in scale and dirt. Its teeth were sharp and his claw is as big as our head and that fire would burn us instantly but luckily Hugh managed to use his skill.


    Even though Hugh use Shield Protection, the damage he received was massive. I quickly told Diana to heal Hugh and I will attack the drake while Hugh tanking his attack.


    \"Solace of Light!\" Diana uses this skill on me and Hugh.


    I check the status effect of Diana''s skill and check the Earthen Drake stats.

    I take the time to get my sword from my inventory, I know that my strongest sword was the ChocoBanana but I should use a one-handed sword instead to make sure I able to hit the drake rapidly and be able to dodge its attack. I come out from Hugh behind and start to attack the Earthen Drake.


    The Earthen Drake notices that I try to attack him as it roars and lets out a burst of flame towards me instead, making me engulfs in flame. The drake attack speed was even faster than I expected it would be. Even with Diana buff, I could still feel the burns through my skin and clothes as I scream in pain. I start to run as I would give me some time to use my health potions and fire resistance potions but the drake catches me before I can use it.


    I was hit by the drake fire breath and the burning sensation was getting all over my body. My mouth is filled with blood and I gurgle as I attempt to catch my breath. I look up at the drake who seems amused by this display of weakness.


    I saw that Hugh was taunting the drake to make the drake lose its focus on me. The Earthen Drake fell for Hugh taunt and look at Hugh as Diana throw the fireball at the drake. It hits the drake right between its eyes causing it to let out a roar of anger. I quickly use my health and fire resistance potion as I take a deep breath and prepare for another attack.


    Suddenly a lightning bolt hit me from behind and I gasp in pain. I turned around and notice that a figure standing there holding a sword in one hand and wearing leather armor. The figure looks like it has been made of smoke though, making it hard to tell what kind of creature it is. The mysterious figure then disappears.


    While the drake still growling in pain, Hugh keeps slashing it and Diana keeps attacking with her fireball. I manage to get back up and stab the drake, The Earthen Drake tries to go underground but Hugh quickly uses his skill to stun the drake making it paralyzed and we keep attacking it.


    When we still attacking the drake we hear another screeching, suddenly an another Earthen Drake appear behind Diana. I shout to Diana to watch out her back as there was another Drake. It lets out a roar behind Diana and another drake starts to attack Diana.


    Hugh rush to protect Diana from the Drake. Unfortunately, Hugh doesn''t even make it halfway when the drake bites Diana in the neck killing her instantly. Hugh screams for Diana''s death as we both saw Diana''s body get tears apart by the drake.


    Hugh decides to go after the drake that kills Diana and tried to attack it but the drake dodges his attack and the drake hits Hugh, knocking him to the ground.


    I quickly run towards Hugh but the first drake has been released from the stun effect. The first drake swings his claw at me, I managed to block it but the impact is so strong that I was sent flying through the cave wall.


    I was lying in the ground as I saw Hugh was fighting with those monster alone. I tried to stand up but my body feels numb, my vision starts to get darker by seconds. I tried to shout to Hugh than he should run away. My vision was getting dark and darker and then I blackout.

 15 Revenge

    I stop fainting and begin to stand up. I immediately look around and realize that the impact of the drake attack has sent me flying through a wall. I quickly run to the area where we fight the drake and hoping that Hugh was still alive.


    When I arrive at the spot, the drake was missing as well as Hugh. I tried to found Hugh but all that I had found is his shield. I let out a yell when I saw Diana''s body parts. I began to regret bringing them here to accompany me. Diana died because of me if I were stronger enough like the other player or had better special skills no one will die. I continue my search for Hugh.


    I take another glance around and see no one. Then I notice a trail of blood leading away to a hole in the cave. I think that it might be the trail of Hugh blood, so I start to follow it. Along the way, I shout Hugh''s name as I don''t want him to die alone like this. He probably going through hell right now and I just wish he could hear me.


    Finally, I find Hugh but I notice he lay unconscious on the floor. Hugh looks very pale and exhausted. His eyes are close and he doesn''t seem to be moving. Hugh seems to have lost consciousness when I found him as I presume that he already dead.


    I feel tears welling up in my eyes. I can''t believe that I was crying over someone''s death again. I wipe them away and try to compose yourself before continuing.


    \"I''m sorry\"


    Hugh opens her eyes and sees me.


    I was surprised seeing Hugh was still alive. \"I''m glad you still alive but how did you survive? How did you escape?\"


    \"I don''t remember much but I was sent flying by the same drake and ended here. I was badly injured at that time and I fainted, then I wake up here seeing you.\"


    \"So what happens to the drake?\"


    \"Could we talk about it later? and how about giving me some potion first.\"


    I quickly handed some healing potions to Hugh as I see Hugh''s health bar and wounds begin to heal up. I also give his shield back, we then rest a while to restore our stamina.


    \"Hey, Hugh... I think we should go back and cancel this thing.\"


    \"If you want to go back... just go! I would not leave the cave until I have killed those Earthen drakes myself.\"


    It would seem like Hugh planning to avenge Diana''s death, I feel the same way too but after what had happened. I realize that I was too scared to fight again as I would die. I try to convince Hugh that we should leave but he wouldn''t listen to me.


    He then stands up and leaves me behind to search for the drake that kills Diana. I was still frightened but I would not leave Hugh alone as it would be just suicide for him. I follow him and tried to search for the drakes but couldn''t find it.


    As we walk deeper into the cave, we notice that something is watching us. We don''t know what it is but we could feel the presence. Suddenly we hear the screeching sound again, we quickly follow that sound and we finally saw the Earthen Drakes again. Hugh was about to charge in but I managed to stop him.


    I told him that we should have strategies before fighting those monsters again or else we will just die.


    \"Isn''t it obvious! Each person handles a single drake.\" Hugh quickly charges to one of the drakes.


    The drakes notice Hugh and let out a huge roar, they began to let out a burst of flame. I charge forward with my sword raised high above my head. The drake roars and swings its claws at me but I managed to dodge them. I swing again and this time manages to hit the drake in the face causing it to crash into the ground hard.


    I raise my blade and cut straight across the drake''s chest. The drake lets out a scream of pain. I thought that I could end this drake life but the drake suddenly disappears from my sight. I look around and see that the other drake was also missing.


    I and Hugh were confused as the drake suddenly disappears.


    A loud sound then echoes throughout the cave. We turn around and see a huge black shadow looming over us. It is the mysterious figure that I saw earlier but its face was completely covered by a demon mask. It lets out another deep booming voice that fills the whole cave making it very scary.


    I check that creature level and profile.

    I quickly draw my sword and prepare myself for the battle. The figure attacks me with lightning-fast strikes of its clawed hands. I managed to block it and when I saw an opening I quickly cut off one of his arms. But somehow my attack just went through it.


    The undead starts focusing on Hugh now. Hugh quickly raises his shield and prepares himself for the undead next attack. Hugh then unleashes a powerful skill bash but it was useless as he just went through the undead.


    The demon laughs at Hugh and raises his hand toward me. I feel a strange sensation in my mind and body. My sense seems to be heightened and I can sense things that aren''t there. I realize now that this is what the undead do when they summon their creatures! The undead sends out these feelings so he can control me.


    My body begins to move on its own as it tried to attack Hugh. My body feels much faster, luckily Hugh manages to block my attack but it knock us several feet.


    \"What are you doing! The undead is there.\" Hugh was confused why I am attacking him instead of the undead


    \"Hugh run away! My body being control....\"

 16 Auto Mode

    I kept attacking Hugh as the undead order me to do it. A few of my attacks hit Hugh as I could see that his health bar is getting reduce. I told him to stun me and think of something to break this spell. Hugh stun me as he tried attacking the undead but all of his attacks just go through him.


    While I am being stunned I tried to resist the spell but I couldn''t do it as the spell is too powerful. Hugh kept on attacking but none of his attacks manage to damage the undead. I must think of something before the stun effect wear off. I begin to realize that my action was controlled not my mind, I then tried to open my game menu and it works.


    I hope that by activating this mode will help to break the spell. I slide the slider to the left and activate the auto mode.


    [SYSTEM]


    Auto Mode: ON


    Auto mode is a mode that will let the system control our character in the game, mostly this was used for afk grinding. I don''t know if this system still works in this world. Suddenly my body moves towards Hugh and the undead.


    I was surprised that it works and my body currently attacking the undead but all of my attacks don''t seem to work. The undead was surprised that he couldn''t control my body.


    Hugh then says to keep the undead busy as he charges his magic into his shield as it may deal the undead some damage.


    \"I will try to give you some minutes but please hurry\" while blocking the undead claws with my sword.


    The undead keeps attacking me but I managed to block it with my sword. The undead then falls backward from me. The undead start to chant something but Hugh magic was ready.


    \"Sacred flame that illuminates the god realms, gather before me, and grant my shield to crush undead.... Shield Of En Divine!\"


    Hugh then dashes toward the undead and hit the undead with his Shield Of En Divine. The undead let out a scream of pain as Hugh shield hit him through its torso, causing it to stop his chant. After successfully delivering the hit, Hugh steps back. I check the undead health bar and was still surprised that the damage was not that great.

    I told Hugh to use that skill again but Hugh says that his already out of magic and couldn''t use the skill again. The undead seems to recover from that attack and continue his chant.


    \"Rise Nawha Noaz! Help Hanzz King Zin Kill Nawha enemies.\" We don''t know what his chanting but we can hear something crawling out from the ground. It was a skeleton and their number is quite many and I could see that the undead continue to chant his spell as we were busy fighting the skeleton.


    I tried disabling the auto mode to see whether the spell has been removed and it was already gone. I started to think that we must escape from this place because we are powerless against this undead.


    \"Hugh! We should get out from this cave...forget our revenge, we ask the army to kill it as we are powerless against its.\"


    Hugh seems to hesitate as he still wanted to avenge Diana''s death but he agrees to my suggestion as it has become too dangerous. We then start to run away from the place, we make our way through the skeleton that blocking our path.


    We never look behind and keep running as the skeletons still chasing us. We manage to outrun those skeletons and we could see the exit of the cave after a non-stop running. When we step outside the cave it was already nighttime.


    \"We should make a camp a little further from this cave,\" I say to Hugh as it would set a camp near the cave.


    Hugh agrees and we start searching a good spot. After a few minutes of looking, we found a good place to camp tonight and the distance from the cave was quite far. We start to make a camp at that place and I volunteer myself to stay awake to make sure there no monster attacking us.


    After finish eating, Hugh went straight to sleep as he was tired and frustrated about what had to happen today. When I watching our camp surrounding, I stare at the sky and remember that before we enter that cave we say that we will return safely. I regretted my decision to find that ore because of the armor that I want.


    I also realize that I have become scared of fighting again. That time when I was fighting the undead and skeleton my hand was shaking.


    I ponder in thought and I made up my mind that I will never fight again and just live a normal life. I even think that I should not buy that armor and use my gold to open up a shop or anything that will benefit me. I kept on thinking as I don''t realize that I am already have fallen asleep.


    I was awakened by Hugh in the morning, luckily no monsters were attacking us last night. We clean up our camp after finish eating some food and we went straight to the city.


    After a few hours of walking, we finally reach the city back. Hugh told me that he needs to tell the guild that Diana has died. I give 5000 gold to Hugh but he refuses as the quest was canceled. Instead, he told me that its better for me to give the gold to Diana family. Hugh then show me the location of Diana''s house and he then went straight to the guild.


    Diana''s house is on the northeast of the city. As I walking to her house, I begin to think about how would her family react to her death. After a few minutes, I arrive in front of her house.

 17 Regre

    I knock the door of Diana''s house, I waited there for a few seconds and then the door was open by a middle-aged woman. When the woman sees me in front of the door, she then tried to shut the door but I manage to stop it.


    \"I will pay when I have the money...but for now\" The middle-aged woman looks a little scared as I try to explain the reason I am here. After she heard the reason why I am here, I could see that she was very shocked. She could hold the heartbreak no longer and she fell to the floor in a disheveled heap as her grief poured out in a flood of uncontrollable tears.


    I feel so remorseful as I saw Diana''s mother cry so hard, I tried to console her but it was no use. Few minutes have already passed and Diana''s mother seems to calm down. She then thanks me for letting her know about Diana''s death.


    I then give her the 5000 gold as I promise Hugh to give it to Diana''s family. Diana''s mother was surprised by my action as she not expected to be given any gold. I told her that it was my responsibility as I was the one that hires Diana for my quest.


    \"I can''t thank you enough, young man, as it will help us to pay our debt.\" Tears are coming down again from her eyes.


    I tell her if anything happens in the future, just tell me and I would be glad to help. After that a few minutes more of talking, I left and headed to the mercenary guild to find Hugh. But when I arrive and the guild, I do not see Hugh there.


    I ask the guild receptionist about Hugh whereabouts and she tells me that Hugh was heading to the castle to report the incident and the undead. The guild receptionist also tells me that I should report what I had seen in that cave to the King as it would be better if the king knows about the danger that is lurking in the cave. I thanks the receptionist and headed to the castle, I then decide to go to the blacksmith shop first as I wanted to tell Fozir that I will not be buying that armor.


    When I arrive at the blacksmith shop, Fozir is surprised by my arrival. \"Oh, Arias! back already with my ore, it was fast even for you...I guess the cave was pretty easy right.\" Fozir then laughs but when he saw my serious face he immediately stops.


    I told Fozir what had happened in that cave and about my decision to buy that armor. He then feels sorry about what had happened but at the same time, he feels glad that I survive. He also understands my decisions to not buy the champion armor.


    Fozir feels bad and he decides to give me an armor but I refuse the offer as I tell him that I will not be fighting anymore. He asks me why I won''t be fighting anymore.


    \"When I saw Diana died fighting the Earthen Drake, my heart feels scared as I want to run away from there and leave Hugh but I couldn''t do it.\" My hand trembles again as I remember the event.


    \"I''m sorry if I had asked you for the Mythril ore, this could never happen.\" Fozir then gives me some gold instead as he told me that it was to make up for the problem that occurred.     Upon hearing that, I feel irritated and know that Elan already heard about my defeat against the drake and the undead from Hugh. I tried to stay calm as I walk passed through him.


    I just pretend not to hear or see him as I walk toward the throne room. When I enter the throne room I could see Hugh was delivering his report on the undead and the drake. King Rainard realize that I have arrived and want to hear from me as well.


    \"I heard from this man that your party has encountered a powerful undead, do you check the undead profile?\" King Rainard ask me about the undead that I and Hugh fight in that cave.


    I told King Rainard that the undead name was unknown and the undead was a dragon summoner, the undead also had two race but one of them couldn''t be read. The undead was level was higher than me and Hugh as it was level 300.


    After hearing the undead stats, King Rainard was unfazed and told us that it might be the demon lord minions. King Rainard then thanks me for giving the info, he also tells us not to worry as he would send Xaniela party to defeat the undead before they went to the Northern kingdom. King Rainard then allow us to leave the room as there would not be anything to discuss anymore.


    Hugh and I then left the throne room. \"Hey, Hugh wanna go to the Inn for a drink?\"


    \" I''m afraid that I''ll have to pass on the offer.\" Hugh then leaves me as he keeps walking towards the castle door.


    I then went to the garden to see whether Lily was there or not. Indeed, Lily was there playing with Greg. I call out their name as they slowly turn towards me, Lily was running towards me when she heard her name being called as Greg just smile at me.

    Suddenly I feel something isn''t right as my surroundings getting darker and something jumped in front of me. It was an Earthen Drake and I could see someone was attacking it. It was a girl, I should help her but my body couldn''t move.


    \"Is this you power human. I guess you should die.\" A demon was behind me was I able to turn behind. The demon sword pierces to my body as I could see my health bar began to decrease.


    I let out a scream as I realized that it was a dream and I was still in my room. I was sweating a lot and I couldn''t control my breathing as the dream was so realistic.


    I try to calm myself down for a few minutes and head downstairs to get some drink. I then ask the innkeeper to give me some drink but he just stood there like a tree. I feel that something was wrong and I quickly go to Lily''s room but suddenly a fire stops me from reaching the room.


    As I tried to turn my way back, I realize that I was engulfed in a circle of fire. Suddenly the I was outside the Inn and I saw all the buildings were on fire as a demon appears from the fire.


    The demons then attack me with his sharp claw and somehow I block it with my ChocoBanana. The demon attacks me from above and manages to knock me off my feet. The demon then flies over to the inn where I''m staying and begins to attack it. You try to fight back but it is no use.


    I run towards the Inn. I could hear screams inside and I can''t believe what has happened. The residents of the inn are being eaten alive by demons! They look like they''re about to burst their stomachs when one brave soul jumps onto them and stabs the demon with her sword.


    I stare upon the brave soul who saved others and realize that it was Lily but she was older. Suddenly I could feel my face being slap gently and hear some words.


    I slowly open my eyes and saw Lily was slapping my face as she said something.


    \"Wake up! It''s already morning and Xaniela is here to see you..\"


    I look around and saw Xaniela was laughing at me while I''m being slap by Lily. I then realize that it was a dream and quickly open my eyes as Lily slap began to hurt me.


    \"Lily stop slapping me, I''m already awake.\" Lily then stop as I get off from my bed. I ask them to wait downstairs as I would like to prepare myself first.


    After I finish showering and equip my daily cloth, I head downstairs and sat on the chair with Xaniela and Lily. Xaniela already orders some food and we began to eat our breakfast, I ask Xaniela why she was here.


    \"Ohh I forgot, The King wanted to see you as he has something to tell you in private.\"

    \"No, the king just wants to talk with you about something.\" Xaniela continues to eat her breakfast.

    After we finish eating, we went to the castle and the same thing happens when I walk with Xaniela. The citizens of the kingdom glare at me as if I snatched something from them.


    \"Xaniela do you know that you are quite well known in this kingdom, everyone in this kingdom always talk about you.\" I then tell her that all of the people were looking at me.


    \"Wow! You right...everyone is looking at you as if they try to beat you.\" Xaniela smile.

    \"Why?\" Xaniela ask me...

    I just remember that Greg did tell me that he uses his teleporter item to teleport me here. So much had happened as I forgot about that.


    \"Thanks...\" As I take the teleporter item from King Rainard''s hand. \"But why you giving me this item and what you want to talk about with me.\"


    \"The reason I give you the teleporter item is to make sure that if the demon managed to defeat or capture you, you can use that item to teleport here. I guess you can understand my intention giving you that item now right?\"

    Before King Rainard managed to finish his talk, I interrupt as I tell him that if it needs me to fight some monster I would decline it.     I listen to King Rainard''s request and after I finish listening, I ask him to give me a day before I decide to do it or not. King Rainard agreed to give me a day to think because this is not an easy request. I then leave the throne room and promise Rainard that I will be back here tomorrow to give my answer.


    I then went to the garden to take Lily back to the inn but I meet Elan along the way as I could tell that he does not like my presence here in the castle. I keep my composure as I walk past him and I could see that he hate me as he let out a sigh.


    I just keep calm as I don''t want to cause any more trouble but then Elan speaks up.


    \"Hmmm, just what my King saw in you as he wanted your help with personally. If I was the King, I would hire some mercenary rather than you as you have no experience at all...\"

    King Rainards has managed to build some trust with the biggest Kingdom of all Kingdom, The Lineage Kingdom. But to secure the trust, both Kingdom must send a diplomat. The Lineage Kingdom Diplomat has already been sent here just a few months ago.

    I went back to my room and lay in my bed, to think that I will go to the Lineage Kingdom and my journey starts as I can begin my life anew. I will forget what had happened and move on in my life. I will dwell in the past as It would be useless, it''s time for me to move forward.


    I was so excited that I didn''t notice the time, it already getting late as I went ahead and sleep. I slept and I wake up earlier as I don''t wanna be late. I go to Lily''s room and knock it the door, the door was gently open up as I see Lily was still half awake.


    \"Lily gets ready, go take a shower and then we eat breakfast before we head out.\" Lily just nods her head and close the door back. I then take a shower and head downstairs to get myself breakfast. I order some food and wait patiently for Lily to finish showering.     I ask the coachman how many days will it takes to arrive at the Lineage Kingdom. He told me that it will at least take two weeks if nothing happens while we on the road. I guess it would be a long journey then.


    Two weeks went by as we finally saw the Lineage Kingdom from afar, it been a long journey but nothing happens while we on our way. The weather is all good and there is no bandits attack. When we arrive at the Kingdom Lineage main gate, the guard stops us as they were inspecting us but when the coachman shows the royal decree, the guard quickly lets us enter the city.

    As soon as the carriage enter the city, I suddenly felt nostalgic. Sure the city changes a bit but it sure is the same city as the game. I began to recall all of my time, I laugh. The carriage then stops as we get out of it. The coachman tells us that this is where his job finishes and my job begins, I thanks him for bringing us safely here and say goodbye to him.


    Lily was pretty excited as she wants to explore the city but I say that we need to go somewhere first before we can go anywhere. The guards from the city suddenly approach me and Lily.


    The guards tell me that they will escort us to the castle, I tried to refuse but the guards insisted as their captain would be mad at them if they''re not escorting me to the castle. I had to accept as we make our way to the castle. I could see the townspeople are looking at me and Lily, they must be wondering why am I walking with guards around me,


    When we arrive at the castle front, the guards told us to wait as they tell the King about my arrival. After a few minutes of waiting, the guards come back and told me that we can enter the castle and someone will guide me in there. The guards then leave and resume their duty. We enter the castle as we saw a knight in a bronze armor was standing there waiting for someone.

    The maid told me that Princess Melia was skipping her dance lessons and they need to find the princess or else her mother will be mad at them. I should never let her in and made a promise to her, now I caught up in this problem.

    I tell Princess Melia that the maid is already gone and she can come out from her hiding. After hearing my word, Princess Melia crawls out under my bed and thanks me.

    I took the candy that given for me, I never candy as it always tastes weird for me so I give the candy to Lily. Princess Melia was pretty upset when I give the candy to Lily.

    After I hear why she acted like this, I understand it but at the same times, I feel sorry for the maids as they the one that gets scolded by Princess Melia mother if her daughter skips the lesson.

    When we open up the door room of the dance lesson class, the teacher glared at me.

    Is the dance teacher thought me as a butler that works for this castle, I am sure that she will be shocked when she knew my role here. I guess, for now, I will play along with the butler role. I and Lily then sit down on the chair in the room.


    I watch Princess Melia getting scold when she can''t do some of the dances moves. The dance teacher then glares to me again.

    The dance teacher even praises Lily and saying that she has a talent for dancing.

    The dance teacher feels weird as to why the maid is being formal with me and ask them why they were doing so. \"Why are you maids being formal with him, isn''t he is you....\"

    Miss Alyson finally knew who am I actually and realized that she was being rude to me. She immediately apologized for her action and beg me to not tell the king about it.

    After one hour, the dance lesson for today is finished. Lily and Princess Melia become so much closer and they become friends. The maids then took Princess Melia to another class and before they leave the maids thanks me again.


    When we also about to leave, Miss Alyson grabs my hand and told me to wait as she wants to discuss something. \"Could you stay for a minute, they''re something that I want to discuss with you.\"

    Miss Alyson''s face seems happy when I agree to her request. I don''t know why she was happy about it but I just glad that she finally smiles. I never saw her smile but she is pretty cute when she smiles as she has the dimple.

    The king was already sat down in his chair and pleased to see me arrive in the dining room. \"Arias please take your seat, today we will have a feast and I already told the castle cook to prepare the best food for it.\"


    \"Thank you, Your Highness. I can''t wait to eat the food.\" as I and Lily sit down on our chair. The castle maids then bring out the food and place it on the dining table. The food surely looks delicious as I want to eat it now but I must control myself.


    I also notice there a few people in the dining table that I don''t know. Even though I always go to this castle before in the game. I then politely ask the king about all the person that in the dining room.

    As for the texture, it''s like eating a cloud that melts and dissolves in your mouth (outer parts texture) with a moist almost undercooked center.


    The maid then pours some wine in my glass, I see the wine brand is Frarrience. I never saw that brand before and I wonder how would it taste like.


    When I took a sip from it, it was so sweet as I could to tell that this is sweet red wine. The sour and bitter flavors are still there, but it was overpowered by the sweetness.


    After drinking it more, I feel a bit sleepy. I know I could pass out at any moment.

    That this is not my room and this was not my bed. I then began to notice that something move in under the blanket. I lift it and I was shocked to see Princess Elna under it and was still sleeping.


    I panic as someone was knocking the door, I am afraid that if they saw me with the princess like this. I certainly get executed by the king.

    That voice, I recognize that voice. It was Toby''s voice, what should I do now. I guess I should make the princess wake up first. I gently touch the princess and tried to wake her up.

    I crouch as I told Miss Alyson that I will give her a piggyback ride to her room. She immediately says no as she says that it was too embarrassing for her to do that.


    Miss Alyson continues to walk with her sprain leg, I couldn''t bear to see her walk in that condition and it was all because of my fault. I then place my arms around her as I tried to carry her. I then place one arm around her back and the other arm around the bend in her knees.


    She quickly has her place her arms around my shoulders as she was about to fell when I grab her suddenly. But it also makes the process of picking her up easier.


    \"Let me down! I demand you...\"


    \"Sorry I can''t... I couldn''t watch you walking with a sprained ankle. Let me carry you... this is all my fault so let me redeem my mistake.\"


    \"Mmhmm... okay.\"


    I then saw Miss Alyson''s face, her face was blushing. After seeing that, I started to blush too.


    \"Could you not look into my face now!\"

    The silence between us continues as I carry Miss Alyson to her room. When we arrive at her room, I put Miss Alyson down.

    The silence continued as we still stood there but then Miss Alyson starts to say something to me.

    I was not expecting that response but if that what she wants, I guess there nothing wrong about it.


    \"Okay, Miss Alyson...Sorry, I mean Alyson.\"


    \"I guess I had to forgive you right?\" She smiles at me as my heart begins to flutter.

    \"Okay...I guess I will go now.\"


    \"Wait... a minute!\"


    Alyson hesitates as she tries to tell me something but somehow she couldn''t tell me.


    \"What? If there nothing else. I will head back to my room as I need to prepare myself for the meeting.\"


    \"Do you remember your promise...not exactly a promise but do you remember it?\"


    Did I promise her something? I tried to recall it but I can''t as I still think about what happened last night with Princess Elna. \"Sorry... I can''t remember it, it is important?\"


    Alyson then says it was nothing but I could tell that she is sulking, her face says it all. I quickly apologized if it was something important and tried asking her what it is about.


    But she just says it was nothing important and closed the door up. I knock her door as I kept saying sorry. I don''t know why she is mad but I think I did not promise her anything.


    \"Just go... it''s nothing! or you will be late for the meet.\"


    I then remember that I should prepare myself for the meeting. I apologize to her one last time and I quickly went to my room.


    When I open up the room, I could see that Lily was still sleeping. I check the clock in my system and it was 9 am. I guess I still had time to prepare myself, I then wake Lily up as she needs to prepare too.


    \"Lily...Wake up! It''s already 9 in the morning.\"


    Lily was still asleep as I tried a little harder to wake her up. This time she wakes up from it.


    \"Go take a bath... and then we could go to eat breakfast.\"


    Lily then head to the showers as I went to the other shower, it really convenient to have two showers in the room. After we finish taking our bath, we then head to the dining room.


    I check if my system again just to see the time. It''s 10:41 am now, I really hope that there will be a breakfast at this hour as I was really starving now.


    When I and Lily arrive at the dining table, there was no sign of the king or anyone besides the maid. Then a maid went near me and say something to me.


    \"Sir Arias, the king, and the other in this castle already had breakfast. If sir want I could tell the castle cook to make breakfast for you sir.\"

    The maid then heads to the kitchen as I and Lily sit on the chair waiting for our food to arrive at the dining table.


    We waited like twenty minutes and the food finally arrived, the maid places our food on the table.

    I then began to eat rashly as I was really starving, I continue to eat as I don''t notice the time.


    Suddenly someone taps me from behind. I was startled by it as I nearly choke myself.

    That is Toby voice if I was not mistaken. After I''ll take a glass of water, and drink it. I turned behind and it was Toby after all.

    \"His majesty is expecting your arrival at the meeting.\"


    After hearing that, I quickly check my system clock and realized it was already 11:20 am. I then immediately stop eating and prepare to go to the meeting room.


    \"I''m sorry Toby... I was not aware of the time, let''s go to the meeting immediately.\"


    \"Let''s hurry up, the king doesn''t have that much patience.\"


    We then head to the meeting room, it took us a few minutes to get there as the location of the room is pretty far from the dining room.


    When we arrive there and enter the room, I could see that all of the people already gathered there. I then found an empty chair as I sit down there, I could hear some people say something about me.


    \"Is this the diplomat from the Golkiem Kingdom?\"


    \"Isn''t he too young to be a diplomat?\"


    \"Hmmph! arriving late at this important meeting.\"


    I quickly apologized to the king and the rest of the people there. I could tell that the king is displeased with me because I arrived late.


    \"Let''s begin...\" The king was speech was interrupted by someone in the room.


    \"Your Highness? It is appropriate to bring a child into this private and important meeting?\"


    They all look at me and Lily. I then realized that I should not bring Lily here.


    \"Toby! Could you look after the diplomat daughter.\" The king orders Toby to look after Lily.


    Toby then approaches Lily and tried to take her out of the room but Lily holds me tightly as she doesn''t want to leave me. I then say to Lily that this is an important meeting and kids do not allow here.


    \"I don''t wanna go!\"


    \"It''s okay Lily, it would only be a few minutes beside Toby would take care of you.\"


    Lily was still not letting me go but then I make a promise to her that I would show her the city after the meeting is done.


    \"Really?\"


    \"Yes, I promise...\"


    With that Lily let go of my hand and went outside the room with Toby. King Tomas III then began the meeting.


    \"Let''s me introduce the diplomat from the Golkiem Kingdom, this is Sir Arias.\"


    I then stand up from my sit and introduce myself properly. The king then introduces all the people that I have not met last night at the feast.


    This time I pay more attention to the king''s speech as this was an important introduction of all the people here.
