<h4>Chapter 110: Meeting Oak (Edited)</h4>


    Meeting Oak


    The massive gate opened but it didn''t make as much sound as Axel expected it to. Axel and kazam went inside the gate. After that, Axel had a chance to view the ce.


    The ce was massive. It was like a city. On the left side, there was the biggest barn that Axel had ever seen. Lots of varieties of Pokemon could be seen. The Pokemons were not only from the Kanto region but from all over the world. Axel could not even recognize half of the Pokemon species (Axel had not watched theter versions of anime and games in the real world)


    When the barn ended, further on the left side, Axel could see what seemed like a mini forest. The Right side consisted of varieties of shops and a bigke of which Axel could not see the end. And just ahead of him was a massive castle.


    This must be the castle of Prof. Oak. There were 2 mini castles on either side of the castle. Axel could not figure out what it was for.


    Axel mindlessly followed kazam to the massive castle and it led Axel to a room. The inside of the castle had many paintings of Pokemons, some of which Axel could not figure out. There was a bigdder that led to the first floor of the castle. After entering the first floor and knocking on the room, Axel could hear the voice.


    "It is open,e in.", said the old mature voice.


    kazam opened, entered, and said, "I have brought the kid, Oak."


    "Good job as always, Joe.", said the old mature voice.


    Axel also entered the room and examined it. It was a medium size home office. There was a cupboard full of books on the back side of the old man. The old man was sitting there on a chair working on hisptop. Theptop was on the table. There was a sofa and a window on the opposite side.


    The old man stood up and walked towards Axel.


    He was Prof. Samuel Oak. He was the famous Pokemon researcher and was currently the Pokemon master of the world. Axel was starstruck when he saw Oak. It was not every day that you would meet the person who was basically the God of this world.


    The Pokemon master is called the Master of Pokemons. S/he is called Master for a reason. There are many qualifications a Pokemon master should have. Every one of them was not something a normal human could aplish. There are 2 types creatures that exist in this world.


    They are Pokemons and humans. And there are 2 creatures that govern this world. They are Arceus and a Pokemon master. Pokemon master is the representative of the human side. That is why S/he is considered a God of humans in this world.


    And Axel was 3 feet away from such existence. Oak was wearing a sky-blue t-shirt with blue jeans and a pair of slippers. It was unusual to not see Prof. Oak in his trademarkb coat. At least that was what Axel had expected of him. Oak came near Axel and raised his hand for a handshake.


    "Hello Axel, I am Samuel Oak."


    Axel met his hand and replied, "Hello, Prof. Oak. My name is Axel ze. I hail from Hakone City."


    "Oh, Hakone huh... It had been a long time since I have been there. It''s very far."


    While Oak was remembering his journey day of Hakone City, Axel was thinking ''Oak had been to my City? My city?'' Such was the effect of being starstruck.


    "I have some work. I would be back with you after some hours. I would meet you at the research center. Joe, why don''t you give this kid here a short orientation of thends? I am sure it would be helpful. Now, Chop Chop, off you guys go.", said Oak and returned to his chair.


    Axel then followed kazam for his short orientation. The ce was like a small city and by Pokemon world standards, not by Earth standards.


    Though it was big, there were hardly any houses or infrastructures. At the back of the castle was a research area. There were many buildings for research. Poke mart, Pokemon center, a variety of item manufacturing centers, and a big research building. The building was connected with a barn.


    The right side of thend consisted of a variety of shops and a bigke.


    "Almost all the water Pokemon live in thiske. We have got a variety of them. Oak likes to collect varieties of all types of Pokemons."


    "How many Pokemons are there in thisnd?"


    "Thest time I checked, there are 20156 Pokemons including myself.", replied kazam.


    "That is a lot!!!", gasped Axel.


    "It is actually not considering the size of thend. All the Oaks, Blue, and Reds Pokemon live here. The 2 mini castles on either side of the Oak''s castle are the castle of Blue and Red. It is customary to receive a castle when you are a disciple of Oak. If Oak decides you to be the next disciple, you would also get a castle.", kazam gave a long exnation.


    "The barn consists Pokemon up to rare ranked. As you see, the Barn is very big. Even I don''t know the size of it."


    Axel could not see the end of the barn. It was that big.


    kazam fulfilled his duty. He introduced Axel to many useful shops that he may need to go to in the future and after some time, they returned to the research center.


    Oak was already waiting in the research center and with him was a middle-aged man with long blue hair. Axel guessed who that was.
