    "Light found them," said Axel.


    ''Around 5 km in the north direction,'' said kazam.


    "Ok. Xatu. Light, prepare to mass teleport us to the location. Guys, be ready. We are going toplete our mission."


    Axel could use ''Aura sense,'' but he could not sense that far. However, kazam and Xatu could do it. That was why he instructed them to sense any humans in the forest. The eyes of Xatu and kazam glowed purple, and then...

    They disappeared and reappeared at the said location.


    "There doesn''t seem to be any fight here. The ce looks clear," said Mark.


    Then suddenly, branches from trees came out and bound every one of them in a tight grip.

    All of them were then dragged to the ground and pulled inside a group. There seemed to be a big hole there. It was so big that Axel couldn''t even see the end of it. Meanwhile, the branches remained stuck, and they descended at an incredible speed.


    "AHHHHHHHHH!" shouted everyone.


    They could feel death around them, and then suddenly, theynded on the ground, safely. Axel could see three humans. There were minimal lights, so he couldn''t figure out who they were. They had some powerful Pokémon with them.


    "ANGELAAA!!!" shouted Mark as he ran up and gave her a bear hug. Axel could see all the frustration he must have felt. Mark was a great researcher but not a good leader. Seeing an actual leader brought tears to his eyes.


    "I can''t believe you guys came to save us," said Ang, hugging Mark.


    Axel sighed with relief and sat on the ground. They took some much-needed rest, and they had deserved it. Constantly being aware that they could be killed any second was not a good feeling.


    "Serena mentioned there were still five of you. What happened?" asked Axel.


    "Did Serena really make it?" asked Ang.


    "Yes, but she didn''t make it," said K with a sad voice.


    "What? What happened?" asked Ang, as thest time she saw Serena, she looked fine.


    "We don''t know who attacked her, but she was attacked by a Pokémon," replied Mark. Ang didn''t say anything, but Axel could see that she was saddened by the news.


    "Anyway, can you tell me what happened to the other two people?" asked Axel.


    "They sacrificed themselves so that we could live," said Adam.


    Adam was one of the three people who had survived. Axel felt relieved after seeing him. The other person was not one of the elders, so he didn''t know who it was, but he said his name was Rox. Ang offered them some food, but they declined. They had enough food for themselves.


    After resting for some time, Axel asked, "Leader, do you have any ns to get out of here? First of all, why are you all underground? We didn''t encounter any problems."


    "Let me start from the beginning. You must have known what happened until Serena left from her diary. After we crossed the red crack, we became vignt. We found out that the Pokémon here operate under one of the ten pseudo-champion rank Pokémon. Each of these ten pseudo-champion rank Pokémon has their own army.

Venusaur took on six pseudo-champion rank Pokémon, my three pseudo-champion rank Pokémon took one each, and Tyranitar took thest one. There were other Pokémon in our team assisting them.


    But their force was too huge for us. We suffered a devastating defeat. Venusaur was seriously injured, and Muk, one of my pseudo-champion rank Pokémon, perished in battle. We lost the battle, but these king rank Pokémon had already surrounded us. So, Sujan (elder) and Drojo (elder) took it upon themselves to hold the line until we could escape. I just could not save them. They still didn''t leave us and started to hunt us down.


    There is a pseudo-champion rank kazam that could track us and kill us. So, we made this underground field to hide. It is still hell-bent on killing us. When you guys arrived here, my Xatu could sense you, so I brought you here." Ang told the whole story.

    "I have five king rank Pokémon, Adam has one, and Rox has two of them. There are also Pokémon from the deceased team here. All in all, we have a total of fifteen king rank Pokémon. We also have three pseudo-champion rank Pokémon, but Axel, all of them are seriously injured. We don''t have any healing-type Pokémon, and the potions are not enough to make them battle-ready."
