<h4>Chapter 527: Gardevoir</h4>
The ce was nothing he had ever seen. This was the most beautiful scenery he had seen in his life time. It was a forest but everything in that forest; the grass, the ground, the trees, flowers, and even theke at the center of the forest was glowing with a weird type of energy.
This glow enhances the beauty of the ce to another level. Slowly others also started to appear and then all of them were also surprised just like Axel.
"Wee humans, I have been eagerly waiting for you. Took you some time to find this ce.", came a voice from behind.
All of them got ready for battle and then turned around. They looked around and found a variety of fairy-type Pokemons waiting for them. There were Togepi, Ralts, Clefable, Mawile, and many more.
The one who spoke was Gardevoir. It was the final evolution of Ralts and it was a psychic/fairy-type Pokemon. It looked very powerful. Axel could not determine how powerful it was but it must be at least a champion-rank Pokemon.
"Thank you. This ce looks a lot different from other resource-type ces.", said Lance.
"Yes, it is different. We, the fairy types are different from other Pokemons after all. You must havee here to im this ce. As you must know, you must pass the test before iming it.", said Gardevoir.
"Yes, that is the case but I also want to cure myself. You see, I got exposed from the grand energy and the Nales said you can heal me from it."
"Yes, I can already see the state of your body and I can heal you. You don''t have to worry about it but first, do you want to hear about the test?", asked Nales.
"Yes, please say it." This time it was Ryker who spoke.
"The test is very simple. First, only one Pokemon can participate in it and it must be a fairy-type Pokemon. The Pokemon should enter theke of clearance and then meditate for 3 days. It cane out every 3 hours to rest. Theke of clearance is the ce where the fairy-type energy is concentrated and it would help them grow stronger.", said Gardevoir.
"Excuse me, but this doesn''t seem like a test. It seems more like a reward than a test.", said K.
"You are correct. This is a test but it is more like a reward. The difficult part of the test is that not many fairy-type Pokemon can stay here for 3 days."
"Why can''t they do it?"
"I don''t have the exact reason for it but mostly thiske determines the bloodline purity of the fairy-type Pokemon. If the fairy-type Pokemon don''t have a good bloodline from its parents, then they won''t be able toplete the test.", informed Gardevoir.
Lance and Kate also had a fairy-type Pokemon with them. They wanted to send their Pokemon for the test but now they were hesitating. However, Axel didn''t hesitate for one bit. He believed in Togepi and he knew that it could survive there for 3 days.
Axel looked at Togepi and found out that it was just staring at theke. Something must be on theke and it wanted to go there.
"Do you want to go there? You will have to spend 3 days there.", said Axel.
Togepi looked at Axel and then nodded its head.
"Ok, then go and meditate. Try to umte as much fairy-type energy as you can but don''t overdo it.", said Axel.
Togepi went near theke and started to run around it. It first touched theke with small legs and showed a surprised expression. Then it directly jumped to theke and went inside theke.

Axel then looked at Gardevoir and asked, "Can Togepi stay there for more than 3 days?"
"I am sorry but it cannot. 3 days is the limit for a Pokemon like Togepi. It would not be able to hold more energy for more than 3 days. 3 days might also be very long for it to handle."
''All of its stats should be S rank and it should be inside theke for 3 days.'' , said Axel in his mind.
"Now, can you tell me how to cure it?", asked Axel.
"Yes, but first, why don''t all of you roam around the ce? The ce here is better for you to adjust grand energy. But don''t touch or pick anything.", said Gardevoir.
After that others decided to roam around the ce to explore. Gardevoir and Axel went to a quiet ce and then started to have a conversation.
"I can see that you have visited ground type well and fire type well. So, you should also know that I cannot tell you anything about the grand energy. But I would reveal something to you in order to cure it.
You see, this aeus energy would be beneficial to you if you could use it properly but since your body is very weak, you cannot handle it. I can take the aeus energy from you but I can also manipte it in such a way that you can store and manipte it inside your body which would make your body stronger.
However, there is also a chance that you might not be able to store it properly, so your body condition might also degrade. At that time, I will not be there by your side and you might really die."
From the system and from the exnation of Gardevoir, he could tell that this aeus energy was something beneficial for his body but since the energy was so dense and heavy, his body could not handle it.
Gardevoir had given him 2 options. If he could really store and manipte it inside the body there was a huge risk involved. However, if he became sessful in doing it, then there might be a surprise waiting for him in the future.
After thinking about it for some time, Axel made his decision.
"I don''t want to store it inside. Can you please take it out of me?", asked Axel.
"Hmm, a good and safe decision. I will do it. It would be very painful for you and it might take some hours toplete it."
"It''s okay, I can handle some pain. Just take this thing out of my body.", said Axel.
Axel could take the risk and store it inside his body but this was not some fantasy novel and he was not the protagonist of it. He didn''t have any plot armor and he could really die. He coulde here again to try this aeus energy again but he didn''t want to risk anything right now.

Axel was gritting his teeth while Gardevoir''s hand was on his back. First, he wanted to live and he didn''t think that the pain would be a problem. He had handled a lot of pain in his life.
Gardevoir had warned him about the pain and he didn''t think much about it but the pain was really freaking bad.
His whole body was ringing from pain so much so that his body was slightly shaking from it. Tears wereing from his eyes and snout wasing from his nose.
If the pain was only from one part of his body, then he may be able to handle it but it was paining all over his body. He guessed that since Nales spread the aeus energy all over his body, it was paining all over his body.
He wanted to curse Nales out loud but also knew that he was alive due to it. He could only me himself for his stupidity.
An hour had passed and Gardevoir had told him to be as still as possible. 2 more hours were left before he could get rid of it but the time was going so slow.

The notification wasing continuously and he could see that it was working. At least, he would not have to fear for his life now. Since the pain was so high, he thought to distract him by thinking about something else.
He decided to think about his Pokemon and their future training ns. He first thought how powerful Slowbro had be after the system finally assimted with it. It might not be long until it could reach tier 2. Looking at the stats, he could confidently say that it might reach tier 2 after a month or 2.
Then he thought about his new Pokemons. Togepi might take some time to evolve as it was a fairy-type Pokemon but Mankey, Acron, and Totodile might evolve on this ind. He was happy to see their new evolved forms.
It would take a lot of time for them to reach rare rank as they had 3 evolution stages. So, it would take a lot of time for him to get the first badge in the Johto region. He could use Slowbro and then sweep the gyms as it was registered to fight in the Johto region but that would hinder the growth of his new Pokemons.
They also needed to know the pressure of big battles and they needed to grow. Gym battles were important for the growth of Pokemons. He could only patiently wait for them to grow stronger.
He did have his talent that would help them grow stronger at a much faster rate but reaching rare or elemental rank would take some time. He decided that all of his new Pokemons should reach rare rank after 4 months.
4 months was very fast but he knew that he could do it. He now has abundant experience from the Kanto region and he knew that part of the training that he should focus more.
Then his attention shifted to kazam. kazam was very close to reaching tier 2 of king rank. It might even reach tier 2 before Slowbro. Axel was hoping that it would be able to do it in a few months.
After reaching king rank, it became very hard for a Pokemon to even reach tier 2 of king rank. As of right now, he didn''t mind much as he had time to use them in gym battles. He could not use any of them in the Johto region but he would need them for tide battles.
As Axel was thinking all these things, 3 hours had passed. Thinking about other things did help him control the pain.
