Chapter ?625 Battle of the Speedsters.
The space, filled with shattered moon, and thousands of spaceships, soon became a battlefield. The demons left the spaceships, and under the orders of the Demon Lords, they flew into the World of White to wreak havoc.
The Gods didn''t try to stop them. They had faith that everyone had already evacuated. If there were some sad souls that didn''t make it in time, they could only pray for them.
After half of the demons split. There were still Demon Lords of the Seven Heavens, and an army of tens of thousands of demons. It was a formidable power. There were worlds that couldn''t handle the power of one Demon Lord, let alone seven.
Tyrannus, the Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, floated before the Gods, and nonchntly said, ''''Who shall be my opponent?''''
His gaze swept past the armored Gods, who wore solemn expressions, and individuals, who seemed like humans. No one made a move, so he made.
His fingers started smoking, like they were slowly being lit on fire. He slowly moved his hand behind while the smoke increased. Soon, his hand was d in dark smoke. The Gods, and everyone reacted by cing the shieldmen before their army, as protection.
''''Demon Smoke!'''' Tyrannus moved, and mmed his open palm on the high shield, which hid the shieldman behind. Once the smoke touched the metal shield, made by Hephaestus himself, a scene that shocked every God appeared. The shield immediately burst into mes, burning the wielder till nothing was left.
A gap appeared in the shield wall, and Tyrannus saw God Zeus'' solemn face. With his red skin burning strong, Tyrannus leaped across the shields, and raised his hand high. A sphere of fire appeared above him. The heat was agonizing, causing everyone to feel like their bodies were on fire.
''''Demon''s Burst of mes.'''' After slowly muttering the spell''s name, he pointed his smoke-d finger towards the army of Gods, and caused the sphere of fire to fly down like a descending sun.
The lesser Gods screamed, and felt like they were about to be turned into charred ashes. At that moment, a figure wearing ancient armory appeared before the scorching hot me sun.
His upper-chest was naked, and he wore a helmet, looking like it had a massive mohawk on top, and it covered everything except his face. A powerful-looking face, filled with power, and sternity, wielded his spear, and shield.
He stabbed the spear into the me sphere, and even when his skin burned, his face didn''t show pain. The sphere of me exploded, and caused the space to sh in the color of yellow for a moment. The armored man''s arms were bulging with muscles, with veins protruding. There was also some burn damage on his chest.
''''Oh, who may you--'''' Tyrannus was cut off as the armored man stepped into the space, and moved forward. He didn''t float like others, but instead ran like he was stepping on solid ground. It was apparent to everyone that he was human.
''''My name is King Leonidas of Sparta!'''' He shouted, and swung the spear forward. Tyrannus grabbed the de with his bare hands. Then, he corrupted the weapon with dark smoke, and the spear vanished into specks of dirty ash.
However, King Leonidas immediately pulled out his sword from the scabbard, and shed vertically. Tyrannus blocked the sword, again with bare hands, and coated his other hand with ck smoke. He reached out for Leonidas'' bare chest, trying to kill him immediately.
Before it could reach, King Leonidas ced the shield as protection, and once the hand touched the shield, before the smoke could make it vanish, he pushed the shield upward, and smacked it across Tyrannus'' face.
''''...'''' Tyrannus staggered backward, and his nose had a tiny mark of being attacked. The demons quieted down. Previously, they threw insults, and taunted the Gods. But, now they didn''t dare do that. Otherwise, Tyrannus would kill them if he thought theyughed at him.
The rest of the Demon Lords watched without speaking a word. Their faces hadn''t had a change of expression ever since the battle started.
King Leonidas fearlessly stood his ground, and watched as Tyrannus turned his head towards him. There wasn''t any anger or fear. Instead, indifference, like it was a mosquito that just bit him.
''''Hmm... hmm...'''' Tyrannus shook his head, ''''You are not worthy of my fists.''''
King Leonidas put the sword beside his waist, thenunched forward, and shed at Tyrannus'' neck. He effortlessly dodged it by tilting his head backward, then he tried to grab the hand that held the sword. Before managing to do that, Leonidas stepped backward, and stopped his attack.
Tyrannus grabbed empty space as Leonidas pulled his sword backward. After seeing that, Tyrannus'' eyes had a slight change. He realized that this bare-chested man before him wasn''t taking him seriously.
''''Wohohohoho, are you done, can I fight, can I, can I?'''' Lycanhowl, the Demon Lord of the Third Heaven ran circles around Tyrannus. Without waiting for his words, he moved across the space, and rammed through the shield wall.
His speed was insanely quick!
The shieldmen flew across the space. Some of them died, while others survived with heavy injuries.
''''Fight, fight, fight, wooooo!'''' Lycanhowl''s eyes spun in his sockets, and he again ran. While he was running, everyone seemed to move in slow motion. He ran past the weak-looking Gods, before reachign Zeus. His grin grew as he formed a fist, and punched.
At that moment, a golden, and silver lightning appeared like a sh of thundrer. Lycanhowl''s fist stopped before Zeus'' face as two fists struck him in the chest. Hermes, and Mercury appeared out of nowhere, and punched thousands times in milli-second.
Lycanhowl flew thousands of kilometers backward while his thin shirt burst open. His chest smoked, like someone had touched it with a torch. It was only a result of Hermes'', and Mercury''s attacks. After he stopped flying, he turned back to the faraway battle.
After the smoke cleared, his bare chest had no injuries.
''''Ooohohohohohoho, fast, gotta go fast!'''' Lycanhowl''s eyes shed, then he ran at a speed way faster than light. The stars looked like they were moving around him. Hermes, and Mercury looked like they were also moving in slow motion.
Lycanhowl grabbed them by their different-colored hairs, and with a grin, ran out of the battlefield while dragging them behind him. Within seconds, he ran across the entire system, and flew straight to Saturn''s moon.
''''Aaaraghhj!'''' Hermes, and Mercury both screamed in agonizing pain. They only remembered punching Lycanhowl, then appeared in the Saturn''s moon. He was vastly faster than them!
As they looked down at their bodies, there was a gaping hole in their torsos, and golden blood gushed out like a fountain.
''''Hihihihihi, let''s run, let''s run!'''' Lycanhowl''s body trembled, which caused vibrations that slowly cracked the moon.
''H-He is... too fast...'' Mercury thought painfully as he slowly fell back to the ground. The light dimmed in his eyes. He was dead.
''''M-Mercury!'''' Hermes cried out, but he couldn''t do anything except watch his brother die. The pain on his chest multiplied as result of Mercury''s death. He tried to stood up, but couldn''t. His legs were weak, the blood loss made him feel cold, and Lycanhowl''s presence made him despair.
