Chapter 39: The Competition Begins (Seeking Follow-up Reads!)

    In the following few days, aside from his daily training, David Jones spent the remainder of his time making elixirs.

    David Jones j’ust took out arge bag of elixir powder from the kitchen and saw all the items in the room floating in the air. He was immediately filled with Joy and said to Rainbow.

    Rainbow raised her head proudly, her eyes full of arrogance. Her non-stop


    Calm Mind cultivation wasn’t in vain.


    This was the first time David Jones had seen a Fresh Level X pet that had managed to master ss III Confusion.


    “That’s incredible. Put these things down slowly, we still have to eatter.” David Jones hurriedly smiled and said to Rainbow.

    Rainbow swallowed the half of the Snow Lotus Elixir on the te in one gulp, and then stared at the te of baked fish intently.

    Seeing a dissatisfied Rainbow turning her head andzily calling out to him, David’s face showed a bit more of a smile.


    First, David Jones put down his bowl and chopsticks and then slowly fed the baked fish from the te to Rainbow’s mouth one at a time.


    In the past, Rainbow always liked to use Cold Breath to freeze fresh fish to eat, but now she’s be obsessed with David Jones’s secret recipe baked fish.


    While enjoying the fun of feeding, David Jones suddenly heard an excited voiceing from the television.


    “A new beginning, new powerhouses. The Trainer Guild’s Champion Challenge in Watend City is about tomence grandly!”


    “Glory crowned, miracles born, which new Trainers will be able to face ten rivals on this dazzling stage and win ten consecutive battles?”


    “See you at 8 a.m. on Monday morning on Watend TV!”


    Oh! If it wasn’t for this voice, David Jones almost forgot that he would be participating in the Apprentice Champion Challenge held by the Trainer Guild tomorrow.

    “Hello, this is your contestant number 0235, and you have been assigned topete in the A zone Duel tform 1 and 2. You can freely choose between the two tforms to attack or defend the tform, but you only have two challenge opportunities.” The front desk girl said with a sweet voice.


    “Okay, thank you.” After receiving the number, David Jones turned and left. The space in the A zone Battle Ground was vast, with dozens of Duel tforms avable for training and fighting.


    There werefortable and safe viewing tforms around each Duel tform, enough to amodate hundreds of spectators.


    At this point, the match hadn’t started yet, and the crowd in the stands was already packed.


    “There are so many spectators, this is too passionate!”


    Upon arriving at the contestant’s seat at Duel tform 1, David Jones looked at the dense crowd of people in the distance and eximed.


    “It’s fine; there are always so many spectators for every Trainer Guild’s petpetition.”
