Chapter 203: Naruto vs Orochimaru Part 2

The vertical eyelids of the colossal snake moved downward to focus on Naruto.

To Manda, Naruto must have appeared as insignificant as an ant, and not just by the size.

"Hmm… you summoned me for this?" The snake sounded both annoyed and disappointed after seeing the unknown young boy. Manda had faced some of the most dangerous individuals on the entire continent during its long lifetime, so being summoned for this seemed like a senseless decision by Orochimaru part.

"Don''t let his innocent appearance fool you. He''s far more dangerous than you thi—"

    "A hundred," Manda interrupted him.

Orochimaru didn''t need rification. This was Manda''s usual demand for sacrifices. However, the higher-than-usual price reflected the snake''s particr irritation at being summoned. "I''ll have them ready in a week''s time."

In the end, it did not matter to Manda, for as long as thepensation was good, it was going to do what the summoner instructed.

The snake said nothing more and, after a brief moment of deliberation, lunged directly at Naruto with its mouth open, ready to swallow him whole.

Despite its immense size, Manda struck with rming speed. As its jaws mped shut, swallowing everything in its path

Then...all of a sudden, an explosion urred inside the snake''s throat.

"Pfff!" A cloud of smoke erupted from Manda''s nostrils.

"An explosive tag?" Orochimaru deduced. Naruto must have used a substitution jutsu paired with an explosive seal.

This was amon tactic, but the speed with which Naruto had acted baffled even Orochimaru''s Sharingan. Until thest moment, Orochimaru had clearly seen Naruto standing still...and then he was gone.

''That shouldn''t be possible… nothing escapes the Sharingan''s sight.'' For a moment, Orochimaru questioned his own abilities.

It had only been a day since he''d taken over Sasuke''s body, and he hadn''t yet tested his new eyes properly. Perhaps he needed more time to adjust.

"You really thought that was going to work?"

Naruto''s voice startled both Orochimaru and Manda.

What was even more surprising was the direction it came from...above.

They both looked skyward to see Naruto hovering in the air.

"You can fly?" Orochimaru muttered. He now understood the problem a bit better. This wasn''t the Sharingan''s fault. Naruto was clearly using techniques far beyond the norm, ones that even the Sharingan couldn''t read.

Using jutsu without hand signs was already remarkable, but floating in midair with no visible means of support was unprecedented.

"Now it''s my turn to summon," Naruto dered.@@novelbin@@

Manda had no intention of allowing it. Coiling its body like a spring, the snake leaped toward Naruto.

The snake''s fangs closed around Naruto''s body, but it disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"A shadow clone…" Orochimaru recognized the technique this time. His gaze shifted to the ground. "We''ve been tricked."

The real Naruto had never strayed far from his original position. The one in the air had been a decoy.

A powerful surge of energy emanated from Naruto as he prepared his next move.

"Sage Art: Grand Summoning!" Naruto pointed toward the sky.

Both Orochimaru and Manda felt the energy above them. This time, it wasn''t a clone...it was a mountain.

    "What?!" Orochimaru eximed.

An inverted mountain hung in the sky, its peak pointing downward, poised to crash upon them.

But the mountain didn''t fall. It remained suspended.

"Wait…" Orochimaru squinted. A semi-transparent fment connected the mountain to the sky. "He didn''t summon a mountain… he created a spatial connection."

" Get ready, something''sing towards us." Orochimaru saw somerge figures jumping from the mount and approaching them.

The first one to arrive was arge green toad with a sword bigger than itself. This was the first proper summon that Naruto had done after signing the contract…Gamadachi..

    " A toad…" Orochimaru noted.

" Oh!" Manda finally recognized the mountain above it. "That''s Mount Myoboku!" It''s been centuries since itst saw that ce. " The damn Toad n!"

Large figures began leaping down from the mountain.

Gamadachi moved its sword above its head. " Uzumaki Sword Style…First Step: shing Stream!"

The powerful vertical sh was directed aimed in between Manda''s eyes.

Orochimaru barely managed to intercept the strike with his own sword, which he drew from his mouth.

"Urgh…" Orochimaru grunted. Though he sessfully deflected the attack, it wasn''t easy. There was immense power behind it.

"Come here!" Manda lunged at Gamadachi, attempting to swallow the toad whole. Despite Gamadachi''s size, it was still small enough to be devoured by the colossal snake.

But before Manda could seed, two more toads descended onto the snake''s massive body.

Orochimaru stopped one, it was a green toad wielding dual swords and it was muchrger than the previous one, but the second toadnded a clean blow on Manda''s head.

"Forgive my clumsiness," said the red toad who had struck Manda with a giant hammer.

"Gamaken, I owe you one," Gamadachi called before continuing his descent.

"Oh…" Orochimaru looked up as he sensed another disturbance.

    This wasn''t over.

The next arrivals were none other than Fukasaku and Shima, attacking in unison.

    "Sage Art: Frog Call!"

The sonic wave disoriented and distracted their enemies.

Orochimaru was able to partially defend himself by covering his ears, but snakes were particrly vulnerable to this type of attack.

    "Ahhh!" Manda hollered in pain.

    "Take this!"

Orochimaru turned just in time to see the Toad Lord, Gamabunta, descending with his sword drawn.

Orochimaru failed to intercept the strike before it shed into Manda''s back.

The snake shrieked in agony. Orochimaru knew that if Manda sustained more serious damage, the summon would end and he wouldn''t be able to call it again for a long time.

He used a powerful wind jutsu to push Gamabunta away but noticed more toads descending from above.

"How is he doing this?" Orochimaru wondered aloud.

Naruto had somehow brought not just a single toad but the entire Toad n into this fight.
