    Seth scooped the sand and stored it and then looked ahead. As far as he could see it was desert sand. Gray under Aura Sight and a bit yellow and brown in normal sight.


    Seth decided to went back. He was far away from Living Root Forest and he needed to walk before he jogged to reach there in time.


    Turning around, Seth saw his shadow erged and he froze. ''Dragon?'' He thought it was impossible. Over the days he had learned dragons emit an oppressive pressure that suppressed lower life forms.

    What he saw was a cataclysmic beast. However, the beast was in a bad situation, half its head was smashed, one of its hands was mangled, and only a single vein holding it to its body. Its chest was caved in, blood dripping and countless shes around the creature''s body. And… It stood four meters tall above Seth.


    Strangely, the wounds were healing slowly, while the only hand that was uncased was the one attacking the body. Yes, the injury was self-inflicted.


    As the beast leaned and his eyes weren''t indeed the moon above Seth saw its face. It resembles a feline beast and a wolf. More like a Lion without its mane.


    The beast''s hot breath washed over Seth as he stared at him, "run!" It mumbled without letting its voicee out. Seth froze for more moments and then realizing the creature was not moving, he crawled out from between its legs and started running.


    He turned with a single nce and saw the full picture. It was a bipedal lion without Mane, a powerful one but also corrupted. Seth made that judgment because the hand that was just mangled had the features of a crocodile skin but this one seem soft but rougher and more menacing


    "A fucking Crodo!" Seth cursed as he ran with all his might. He doesn''t know where that stamina wasing from but he ran nheless without even getting tired.


    The bent Lion struggled to move but the original owner of the body hold on.

    The Dragons havee too and he forced his body to stay still for it to bepletely destroyed by them but his body is too strong for the fledgeling dragons to destroy, they can only weaken him before they run when the Alien took over.


    The Jungle Beasts and the Dragons were mortal enemies since time immemorial. Their war for supremacy started before humans knew how to make their trinkets but then an enemy from beyond grace them.


    Ever since then, whenever that enemy was present they united to vanquish it, and then they resumed their war.

    The lion breathed deeply and the ground underneath him quaked and the gust of wind blew at Seth''s running figure and almost toppled him. But he kept running.


    "Roar!" It was just a single-second roar, but it was enough to send a st of sound kilometres away and Seth was thrown away, his bones shattered and his orifices bleeding.
