Chapter 703

"Miss Sherman?" Camren sounded surprised as he answered Grace''s call.

Grace cleared her throat ufortably upon hearing his tone. "Yes, it''s me." Meanwhile, Camren, who was workingte in the office, nced at Brian in the CEO''s office and grinned. "Miss Sherman, are you looking for Mr. Francis?"

"No." Grace paused before speaking in a calm tone. "I just wanted to ask if something has happened at the Francis Group recently."

It was already sote and Grace''s call was answered promptly, the quiet on the other end suggested Camren and Brian were still at the office. Hence, Grace thought that something must have happened to thepany.

Camren chuckled. "Why don''t you call Mr. Francis directly, Miss Sherman?"

    Grace hesitated while replied, "I....."

Camren continued her sentence. "Can''t reach Mr. Francis?"

    "Yes, that''s right." Grace nodded.

Camrenughed softly, not teasing further, and briefed Grace on the Francis Group''s current situation.

Grace''s expression turned serious. "Alright, I understand. Please don''t mention to Brian that I called."

    "Will do," Camren agreed.

Disregarding Grace''s request, Camren hung up the phone and rushed to Brian''s office.

"Mr. Francis, Miss Sherman just called," he informed.

Brian looked up in disbelief. "Who?"

"Miss Sherman," Camren replied, showing him the call log.

Brian''s eyes, bloodshot fromck of sleep, softened briefly when he checked Camren''s phone. Then, he pretended to be calm and returned the phone to him. "You go ahead. She just messaged me on WhatsApp. I hadn''t replied, so she called you."

    "Got it," Camren said.

Brian had not slept for two days, his eyes were bloodshot and with dark circles under them.

Originally, he was exhausted and his eyes hurt. However, Grace''s call seemed to rejuvenate him.

With the final issue quickly resolved, Brian returned home at two in the morning.

    He tiptoed upstairs, pausing at

Grace''s door. He decided against ng, assuming she was asleep by now.

Grace was still staying in the bedroom converted from the gym, which connected

    to his dressing room.

Returning to his room, Brian slipped into hers from the dressing room.

As he pushed the door open, he

    found

ace sitting at her desk, lost

in thought, with a sleepmp softly illuminating the room.

Brian was taken aback and Grace turned to him, looking surprised.

    Both spoke at once.

    "Why aren''t you asleep?"

    "You''re back."

    Brian smiled and approached her.

Grace stood up to face him.

Looking at her petite form, Brian had the desire to pull her onto the bed and hug her all night.

However, he held back this thought when he walked up to her. Gently, he wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. "Honey, I''m so tired." His voice was soft with a hint of vulnerability, reminiscent of their time in Seefer City.

Grace slowly raised her hand and ced it gently on his back. "You didn''te

    backst night either?"

His voice was muffled. "No, didn''t you notice?"

"I thought you left early this morning," she said while letting him hold her.
