    Gray walls


    Green grass.

    We pulled back, smiling.

    But, I was being pulled,


    Pulled away from Newt


    Sadness,


    Loneliness,


    Despair.


    I panicked, and grabbed Newt’s hand


    He looked up, and saw I was being pulled away


    The hurt on his face was too much to bear.


    I screamed, and clung on to his hand,


    But it was no use.


    I saw our fingers part,


    It was a leg breaking forever


    It was like a lifeline snapping


    It was my heart being broken


    I didn’t wake up screaming. Or crying. This was worse. I woke up with an ache. A deep, deep down ache, that I could feel in my bones.
