Feng Luo’s assumption was proven correct. The next moment, themander of the rebel troops would show the yers how powerful he was as a Level-55 Wind Maniptor.
Facing a barrage of attacks, themander who had his energy shield destroyed immediately cast a green energy light from his staff. In the blink of an eye, a light green hurricane instantly formed, shrouding Harry Luden and the four Heavy Armor Warriors within. Normally, it would take 10 seconds for a Wind Maniptor to cast a Level-40 ultimate skill, “Hurricane,” but it only took a split second for him to do it.
Aspared to the miniature hurricane yers could produce, which was only five to five meters tall, the rebelmander’s Hurricane was at another level. Within a few seconds, it grew to over 10 meters tall.
The light green wind energy turned brown as it sucked massive amounts of soil and rocks from the ground into its high-speed rotation. All of a sudden, the Hurricane turned into a humongous dragon made of earth, charging toward the barrage of attacks cast by the yers.
Such a scene was extremely stunning in the eyes of the yers!
Bullets, wind des, and fireballs were everywhere on both side of the mountain, while a ten-meter-tall brown hurricane pierced through the sky, churning with sand, rocks, and leaves. Tons of skills cast by the yers were instantly sucked into the rotating wind energy and copsed as they came in contact with the Hurricane, while many of the bullets shot by the Guards were either blocked by the soil and rocks or thrown off-course and became stray bullets.
The yers had not expected that the Hurricane skill, which they were quite familiar with, to have such a powerful hidden effect. Not only that, but due to the massive amounts of sand, rocks, and soil absorbed by the Hurricane, the yers had issues with line of sight, making them unable to aim or to attack the rebelmander.
However, the hurricane did notst long. Fortunately, it slowly faded away a few minutester.
However, by using the Hurricane as a distraction, the rebelmander and the four Heavy Armor Warriors made it safely to the foot of the hillside of the mountain under the cover of ten-odd rebel soldiers. They were heading into the deep forest.
“Damn it! We have failed! That stupid NPC should have listened to my words!” The angry Marauder Swordsman punched the ground heavily with his fist to vent his anger.
“Not yet!” Dan Hen said coldly, staring at the rebel soldiers as they broke into the forest.
Ta-ta... Ta-ta...
Suddenly, there was the sound of severe gunfire. It sounded like shredded metal. What followed were eight streams of blue me, bright and clear under the dull sky, and a terrifying tide full of metal—nearly 200 bullets in a second.
Deep in the forest, a bunch of Guards had set up an ambush and were waiting for the moment the enemy entered their circle. They clenched their teeth as they held the roaring “Death Ripper” machine gun, firing over 1,000 rounds within 10 seconds. At the same time, there were also seven to eight Guards firing at the enemies with the same weapons on either side of him. The apparent weak spot in their first attack was just a ruse!

A series of damage values appeared overtop of the frightened rebel soldiers. Over 1,000 bullets formed a mad tide and turned into a deadly blockade.
“Argh!”
“Help!”
During their breakout, the rebels had naturally ced theirmander and the four Heavy Armor Warriors in the middle. Therefore, those who were shot first were the rebel soldiers surrounding them.
As the machine guns started roaring, stumps, broken arms, organs, and brains were sprayed all over the ce, along with blood and soil. Ten rebel soldiers who had charged to the front were torn to blood and flesh under the fire of the “Death Ripper” within a minute. Fortunately, no female yers were present for the gunfight. If so, even without turning on the bloody visual mode, the idea alone would have caused them to vomit.
After all the normal rebel soldiers were dead, one of the four Heavy Armor Warriors with alloy shields was the next target for the shots.

A series of damage values shed across his helmet. All the bullets hit the shield, which dealt massive damage. However, against such a huge amount of continuous bullet damage, it only took four to five seconds for him and his shield to turn into a sieve under the attacks.
On the other side of the mountain, Dan Hen, who held a Death Ripper not far from Feng Luo, taking shots to obtain medal points, suddenly eximed, “This machine gun is too powerful! I should have chosen the Gunman profession from the very beginning!”
This extremely violent weapon, the Death Ripper, was definitely a dream weapon for any yer. Even Feng Luo was amazed by the power of the machine gun, though the Sniper was his favorite profession in the game.
However, it was obvious that this machine gun would not be overpowered. All weapons in the story of War were upgraded through profession mastery. Therefore, the profession mastery of a normal yer had nothing on the NPCmander.
Ta-ta... Ta-ta...
On the other side of the mountain, the metal-ripping roaring from the Death Ripper was still going on. A specially made extended bullet cartridge was enough to produce 2,000 shots, which allowed them topletely suppress the enemies within 15 seconds. Following the death of the Heavy Armor Warrior who was protecting themander from the front, the next target for the tide of bullets would be the rebelmander, Harry Luden, who was wearing a silver mask.
“Oh, God!”
At the moment, all the yers had the same thought. Whoever managed to acquire the final hit against the rebelmander before his death would be granted a bonus reward and also a level-up in medal points. This was the main reason why the yers had decided to take part in the fight.
“I shall not allow an NPC to snatch thest hit!”
Feng Luo immediately fired a shot, but unfortunately, it was not possible for him to deal the final damage in this situation. Something beyond expectation urred. A brownish-yellow colored energy shield suddenly appeared over the rebelmander, cing him under protection in a sh.
“As expected, the Boss has a hidden protection barrier!”
Feng Luo realized this mission would not be so easy. If an NPC could easily eliminate the mission target, then there was no reason for the yers to be there.
As Feng Luo expected, the brownish-yellow energy shield over the rebelmander swallowed the shots from the entire bullet cartridge of the Death Ripper, though the color of the shield faded away eventually.
Of course, it was impossible for the rest of the normal rebel soldiers to escape under such gunfire. The soldiers, along with the three Heavy Armor Warriors, were sted into a bunch of corpses and mounds of flesh under the punishment of the Death Ripper.
“It’s time!”
All the yers started to engage when they realized the opportunity had arrived. Within seconds, wind des, bullets, fireballs, and all kinds of ranged attacks were cast toward the rebelmander. Before he even had a chance to escape, he was submerged in countless skills and attacks.
After a series of damage values appeared over his head, the rebelmander in his long energy robe was crushed to pieces and eventually fell.
“Is he dead?” said Marauder Swordsman in shock. He had been waiting until it was time for the yers to engage, and the rebelmander had fallen before he had cast a single skill. He even had his alloy longsword ready, as well as his assault mode activated. He was unprepared for this situation.
Dead? Feng Luo thought, stunned.
He couldn’t believe that such a powerful character would be taken down in a single round of umted attacks. He had only been able to fire a single shot in the duration. Furthermore, he hadn’t even been able to hit the weak point, let alone get the final hit. He felt that this mission was somehow iplete.
Yes. This doesn’t seem right!
A thought suddenly urred to Feng Luo. He turned and looked at the system’s prompt message.
You have sessfully eliminated the rebel captain. Contribution points: 0.79%. Experience gained: 650. Provisional operation medal points: gained 8 points!
This was not the rebelmander!
“No!”
“How could this be? This is only a rebel captain?”
Several yers realized the issue at the same time. How could this be? The corpse was not Harry Luden!
Was it possible that the Guards had given them the wrong information? The man inside the vehicle was not the rebelmander?
Just as everyone was dazed by the situation, a giant, tumbling cloud appeared overtop of the mountain where the Guards and a few soldiers were located, which brought a feeling of oppression to the atmosphere.
“What is going on?”
“It looks like our skills are in cooldown.”
The yers were stunned. They did not know what to do. None of them noticed that there was a man hopping out of another energy military vehicle that the yers had ignored from the very beginning. The man was wearing a silver mask and an energymander robe.
The moment the mysterious man stepped onto the ground, he immediately lifted his magic staff—embedded with a dark green crystal—and pointed it in the direction where the Guards were hiding.
Boom!
Dozens of dazzling white lightning bolts sted down from the tumbling cloud, covering the ground within an area 40 to 50 meters wide.
