The two of them spent only a few seconds to decide on their tactics. Then Dan Hen rushed downward swiftly by shimmying down a tree using one hand while holding his submachine gun in the other.
Their original position was already exposed. If they went back, they would be sitting ducks. Therefore, they had to move first. If Dan Hen started to attack, they would surely face the counterattack immediately. Thus, it was only natural for Feng Luo not to stick with him.
By using the trees as his cover, Feng Luo moved to the side. After running for around 10 meters, he found a new ce to set up the M110 and speedily set up. He then aimed at the operator of the six-barreled railgun on the military vehicle below.

Dan Hen found a suitable spot to attack from with high visibility. He held the t end of the Death Messenger in front of his chest with both hands. Then he ced his finger on the trigger and started to fire using the fuside mode.

In War, the rate of fire of submachine guns was limited and iparable to machine guns, yet they were still much better than rifles. Moreover, Dan Hen’s gun had been reconstructed, and its highest rate of fire was increased to 350 shots per minute. That meant it could fire around six shots per second at its best.
Even though his position was more than 100 meters away from the canyon which caused the trajectory of the submachine gun’s shots to be scattered, the shots were enough to cover a wide area. Therefore, Dan Hen’s attack caught the attention of the rebelmander and the gunners all at once.

Feng Luo squinted. A second after Dan Hen’s gunshot, the M110 in his hands let off a dull roar. A Grade-C armor-piercing bullet flew toward the brain of the Machine Gunner in the canyon like a fierce tiger that had broken free of its cage.
The Machine Gunner turned the six-barreled railgun toward Dan Hen and fired a few shots. He did not expect a 7.62mm unique armor-piercing bullet toe racing at his head from the direction of a 15-degree deviation from his bullets.

This time, the armor-piercing bullet’s characteristic of automatic damage to shields under Grade C finally showed results and sted a hole the size of a fist through the gunner’s helmet. The residual energy also caused remarkable yellow weak-point damage and brought a bombardment of force like a hammer, causing the gunner’s head to snap back involuntarily.
“Sess!”
Feng Luo pulled the trigger a few more times, and shots of Grade-C armor-piercing bullets were fired from the M110. Several bullets were fired from a slightly different angle from the previous shots. After he opened fire, he immediately picked up the M110 and ran toward the side without even looking at the results. This was because the rebel army’smander was enraged and sted two spherical lightning bolts that were ring toward the hill like striking rays of light. The two spherical lightning bolts were targeted toward him and Dan Hen below.
Based on the rebelmander’s previous skill power, it was highly possible that it would be an instant kill if he was hit by the spherical lightning. Thus, it was definitely impossible for Feng Luo to stay in his original spot.
By contrast, Dan Hen’s position was even more dangerous than his. Not only was he facing themander’s spherical lightning but also thest shots fired by the rebel Machine Gunner before he died. The machine gun bullets and spherical lightning bolts almost blocked any possible path for him to dodge.
However, Dan Hen had clearly figured out a way to escape beforehand. There was a slope with a five- or six-meter drop in front of him, so when he cleared out his magazine, he jumped down the slope without any hesitation.

Spherical lightning struck the grass behind Feng Luo and exploded to form a web of lightning almost 10 meters wide. Although Feng Luo had already fled a few meters, he still got grazed by the edges of the explosion.

“Dang! This guy is so crazy he can even fly!”
“Turns out he’ll escape after we kill the Machine Gunner. Why is this mission so troublesome?”
“Shoot him down! Or else we’ll fail the mission!”
When they saw this situation, the yers could guess that the rebelmander was escaping. Amid their chaotic shouts, they immediately started to attack him in midair. Bullets, wind des, fireballs, and ice arrows shot up at him all at once. All were directed toward the rebelmander whose body was high in the air.
Themander still had a Wind Energy Shield remaining on him, but it was clearly impossible for this shield topletely block so many attacks. So although many of the skills fell in empty space, after the shield on the rebelmander stood for seven or eight seconds, it let out a pop sound and dimmed before disappearingpletely.
“We’ve broken his shield!”
The yers who were underneath showed joy on their faces. However, at this time, the rebelmander had already flown over 200 meters away. Most yers’ attacks were already heavily weakened, so the attacks that actually hit him could not do much damage to his HP.
