Feng Luo put a few pieces of equipment into his inventory. The armor he was wearing was a Level-40 Rare-grade armor given to him by Mu Wu. Apart from his sniper rifle, most of his equipment was Rare-grade. Although they were not extremely rare, they would be more than enough for Feng Luo. Hence, the equipment the Scout had dropped could not attract his attention.
Furthermore, the fact that the Scout had dropped so many pieces of equipment was not by sheer luck. As a matter of fact, apart from having high illegal ratings, his equipment drop rate was further enhanced by the badge on Feng Luo’s chest: the Badge of Honor from the Town of Exiles.
Originally, this Badge of Honor’s rare attribute was “increase red-name yers’ drop rate by 50 percent.” However, due to the recent modification of the PK system, it had already removed the game mechanics of red and yellow-name yers and PK values. He realized the change in the badge’s attribute when he went online.
The attribute had changed to “increase drop rate when illegal rating is 100 points or above or when crime rating is 100 points or above. The higher the points, the greater the drop rate. The maximum bonus drop rate is 100 percent!”
Compared to the attribute in the past, the item had been absolutely buffed. This was because a yer’s illegal rating and crime rating would not be decreased if one were to refuse toplete the mission to reduce bad ratings. It was nearly impossible for the majority of yers to not have these two values with them.
In other words, the applicability of this rare Badge of Honor had increased tremendously. It would be extremely effective, especially when one was doing hunting missions.
Throughout these three consecutive days of doing red-name missions, every yer Feng Luo had hunted had dropped tons of equipment and crystals. He had obtained over 20,000 credits by converting those items into credits. Undoubtedly, hunting yers like this was far easier than earning money by hunting monsters!
Since there was still time until the scheduled 6:00 p.m. assembly to take over the mission of investigating the Umbre Company, Feng Luo decided to take on onest hunting mission.

Inside the Silvermoon City’s Hunter’s Guild, a beautiful female NPC in a uniform took Feng Luo’s Hunter Card and ced it behind the window. The sound effect of mission aplishment could be heard in Feng Luo’s ears.
“yer Feng Luo haspleted a D-rank hunting mission. 25,830 EXP gained. 1,500 credits gained, reimbursing 2,000 credits of mission deposit. Judging by the aplishment of the mission, your hunter score has increased by 48 points. 560 points more to reach C-rank Hunter.”
Feng Luo looked at his experience bar. It had reached Level 41 with 88 percent experience! Undoubtedly, this was a stunning speed. Within three days, he had gone from Level 39 to Level 42, which was impressive, indeed.
This was also the greatest reward forpleting hunting missions. yers who managed to fulfill the conditions could receive 20 percent of the EXP from the yers in!
In these three days, he had alreadypleted six hunting missions in total, and all the yers he’d in had been Level 45 and above. umting all the experience points from these yers, it had increased his level by almost two levels.
It had gone up by two levels instead of three because, although he had dropped from Level 40 to Level 39, due to his persistence in mobbing and his journey to Silver Leaf Ind—coupled with the city cleanup mission with the squad—they had in a total of over 1,000 of various types of beetles. This had granted him tons of experience points.
In War, there was a limit to experience received for mobbing. However, as Feng Luo’s experience points had already reached above 90 percent in Level 39, he was only one step away from Level 41. Hence, although his level had dropped to 39, to raise it to Level 40 had been only a matter of time.
But after reaching Level 40, the experience points received from missions would be higher than they’d been at Level 30. Even after he hadpleted a total of six hunting missions, he had been unable to reach Level 42.
Of course, if Feng Luo’s thoughts had been known by other yers, they could have scolded him for not being content with what he had.
In War, after Level 40, the yers’ leveling progression would be odd, and even though ordinary yers who mobbed every day to reach the daily experience point limit, they would still need about a week or longer to increase by just one level.
Inparison, Feng Luo had increased by about two levels within three days just by doing hunting missions. His leveling progress was as fast as a rocket!
Indeed, doing hunting missions was the quickest way to level-up in War. Of course, this would only be true for highly skilled yers. Outside of the intrinsic risks of hunting missions, there were also a few restrictions that yers had to consider when choosing to level-up by doing hunting missions.
Firstly, yers below D-rank were only allowed to ept one hunting mission per day. The weekly mission limit was five.
D-rank yers were allowed to ept two hunting missions per day, but there was also a weekly mission limit of seven.
Moreover, not every hunting mission would be lucrative in experience points gained. Only when the hunting mission’s level and the hunter’s level (highest level reached) were the same or above—and the target’s level was above the hunter by at least one level—would they be allowed to receive experience points as a reward.
Feng Luo’s weekly mission quota had only one mission left. Hence, before investigating Umbre, he had decided to ept thest hunting mission to see if he could raise his level to Level 42.
“Excuse me, I would like to take on a new mission,” Feng Luo told the NPC girl behind the window. “I hereby request a D-rank mission. The hunted yer’s level must be above my level!”

The sweet-looking NPC girl worker behind the auto-weapon bulletproof ss operated for a while and then returned Feng Luo’s hunter card.
Feng Luo retrieved his card and then essed the personal connection terminal. He then entered his Hunters Guild’s personal ount and found out that the target of the mission this time was a Level-45 Fire Maniptor called “Huoyan Yan.” The target had a whopping crime value of 220 points. Furthermore, one yer had already failed the mission to hunt him down.
For the hunting mission avable through the Hunters Guild, the wanted yer would be randomly selected based on the nearest distance upon deciding on the difficulty of the mission. Such a random way of assigning missions outrightly prevented the wanted yers from bribing hunters to first ept the mission and dy the wanted time.
After paying the deposit of 2,000 credits for the D-rank mission, Feng Luo left as soon as he received the location provided by the Hunters Guild.
After Feng Luo took the floating elevator out to the hall of the Hunters Guild, a Scout yer who was originally queueing to do business turned around and dialed hismunicator.
Half a minuteter, a tall, handsome, baby-faced Light Armor Warrior yer came to the staff entrance of the Hunters Guild with a bunch of bright red “sunflowers” in his hands.
“Linda. There’s someone here for you. Pleasee out now!”
The middle-aged female NPC gatekeeper greeted the man with a smile and then used the internal channel to inform the girl.
“All right!”
The sweet-looking NPC who was handling Feng Luo’s work had a pink flush to her cheek. She immediately tidied up her tasks at hand and then turned to walk out of her room.
“Wow! It’s beautiful!”
Taking the sunflowers that symbolized love around the Silvermoon City, the beautiful worker’s eyes were glimmering as if with tiny stars.
The handsome, silver-colored Light Armor Warrior was smiling at her as he handed over the beautiful flowers. On his equipment—which was delicate-looking yet had the attributes of a Level-40 piece of equipment—the chest area of the shiny, silver light had a symbol of a golden dragon head partially exposed.
