Chapter 271

Chapter 271 Ready for Action "Film the video."

Samantha''s voice was sharp andmanding. She turned to Edmond and instructed, "You need to study this man''s every move in the video. I''m giving you thirty minutes. By then, you must have every movement memorized. There must be no mistakes in his actions or

    words. Understand?"

The chatter from the video was so loud. Did her husband expect Edmond to decipher anything from this man''s mutterings?

"Mrs. Dean, the man''s lips are moving, but I can''t hear a word he''s saying. Are you certain you want me to get every movement just right?"Ccontent ? exclusive by N?/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Samantha''s tone was dismissive. "If you can''t hear him, then mimic the movement of his lips. As long as the lip movements match, that''s all that matters."

With that, she resumed her meticulous preparations.

Samantha carefully arranged each item, ensuring everything was perfectly ced. Finley watched her, noticing her tense demeanor. "Sam, what''s the point of all this? You could have the maids help you. There''s no need for you to do everything yourself." Samantha, crouched beside the table adjusting wine sses, shook her head. "No, I can manage this myself."

As the seconds ticked away, the 30-minute mark passed swiftly.

Samantha approached Edmond and asked, "Are you ready?"

    He nodded. "Ready."

"Great. Then, take a seat. We''ll do a quick run-through. If anything seems off in the footage, we can fix it and reshoot."

Edmond nodded again and sat down. Samantha set up her phone, and filmingmenced. Finley stood by, his gaze fixed on the screen as he observed every detail.

The thunderous music red from upstairs. Despite the soundproofing, the sheer volume made it impossible for those downstairs to ignore.

Emily and Elias stood in the

courtyard, their eyes fixed on the tightly drawn curtains of the room above. Emily turned to her brother "Elias, what do you think is going on up there? It''s so noisy. And I noticed Mr. Bean sent all the maids upstairs earlier. He''s also got them preparing a variety of clothes, wines, and who knows what else. Is Mr. Dean

    hosting a party?"

He shook his head. "Finley isn''t one for loud gatherings. A party is unlikely, but it''s possible he''s up there ying a game with Samantha."

ying a game with Samantha? Emily''s curiosity was piqued. "What sort of game would require all these party-like preparations? And if he is ying a game, why so many maids?"

"Perhaps there''s just too much to set up, and they needed extra help."

Emily''s intrigue grew with her brother''s exnation. She

desperately wanted to see what was

    happening upstairs, but she knew

her brother would never allow it, so

    she restrained her curiosity.

She envied Samantha, who managed to capture Finley''s attention and have him indulge in her whines and games. Was it simply because Samantha was more

    attractive? Or perhaps her

    ovel?

    achievements were a little better?

Could that be the reason Samantha was marrying Finley?

If so, Emily reasoned, she, too, could be more beautiful and aplished. If given the chance to be with Finley, she would do anything to make it happen.
