Chapter 57: The Guild Competition''s End

Lioness was Vis'' Elder Sister, so she belonged to a different circle.
Although Crowns sometimes pestered Reylin enough to go around the banquets and other meetings, the age difference made this two pass by themselves.
Other than some greetings and Reylin''s infamous deeds in the wealthy circles, Lioness and Reylin hadn''t spoken for too much.
She knew that Reylin had affection toward a confident red-haired woman.
And Reylin was also aware that Aria had something going on with William, his third brother.
Of course, Reylin wasn''t interested, and he learned from William that the rtionship with Lionesssted just for a short time.
Both of them knew that each was known as annoying.
That word suited them, and neither would disagree.
Reylin chuckled, "A game like that can bring people together."
[Lioness has epted your friend request.]
"It can also make people fall out and bring out their true selves," Aria smiled as well, "Let me take care of my guild and thatpetition. I snatched a lot of yers from other guilds, and I need to make proper adjustments."
"I am done with fighting for today. There''s also an interesting part up ahead to end this day nicely," Reylin said while ying with mes around his finger, "You thought I would have you deal with the hero''s problem?"
"Somewhat," Aria replied.
As Reylin stood up, he extended his hand, and Aria gracefully epted it. Promptly bringing her up onto legs, Reylin parted that little connection and replied, "She wants guild, so she must learn on her own.
I won''te out until she makes the first move."
"That''s the best move you could do as a friend," Aria nodded, "Since you might not be aware of it, a friend is not a person who chimes with others. A friend doesn''t hold back."
She bumped her fist on Reylin''s chest while he gave her a weird side-nce, "Call me whenever you need. My skills are at your disposal now."
"See ya," Reylin didn''t do the same move.
Otherwise, his hand would''ve sunk into something very soft.
-
[The Hero Party has killed The Ant Queen!]
[Your contribution: 47%]
[You''ve leveled up.]
"You must have foiled," Reylin said while appearing behind Ferocious Bear.
She wasn''t alone, naturally.
Her main party and Steel Melody were surrounding her, but each of them had worn-out expressions and panted heavily. No one stood straight, and most of them sat on the ground with their hands dropped.
Maya stood and kept her eyes around if someone tried to run away or snatch her guild member''s loot!
She turned around to face Reylin after he had parted his lips, "Why do you look so fine?"
"me the genes," Reylin shrugged.
"That''s now what I meant!" Maya blushed and waved her sword, then promptly sighed, "We have won just because of you, Reylin. Thank you for your contribution!"
"No need. I enjoyed my time here," Reylin looked deeply into her eyes, "I received enough from this guildpetition. And it seems like it applies to everyone here. I am not interested in your gains, so let''s deal with the formalities now. Anyway, good job all."
As Reylin spoke about the formalities, the hero nodded.
However, in her eyes, hesitation and a little fear rippled.
Reylin didn''tment on that and waited for the guild leader''s next move.
Maya braced herself, clenched her hands tightly, then called out the nobles from the shadows.
Although shadows they were not in, the nobles and their people had overseen the whole guildpetition.
Each noble group had their eyes on yers from their kingdoms.
Naturally, the Blue Rose''s royalty hade out, and they faced the hero, "You have my respect, Ferocious Bear."
On his face, an awkwardness rippled as Maya''s nickname was... quite weird to say out loud. He congratted the hero for her deeds and talked a little about her skills.
Many nobles nodded and spoke out their awe for her unique abilities. The hero''s guild members were also mentioned.
Although those were words to make the mood better, Ferocious Bear and other guild members felt recognized.
After all, these people had been living with mana and weapons since birth! That was a pleasant and rewardingpliment to get.
Maya didn''t rest on herurels, however.
Her eyes rose, and she spoke with confidence, "I am giving all my loot for the Blue Rose Kingdom! However, I want those to fund themoners'' lives. Either fund for their business or the city''s development!
I want people such as me to be happier!"
That wasn''t in the deal, but the royalty agreed, "You can count on me."
Maya nodded, "As the guild leader, I''ve already left the message toward every guild member to do the same. Since there weren''t any system notifications or contracts, I inferred that such a great cast of nobles here is to supervise thepetition.
That''s why I hope we can work together.
Please, give me a list of every yer''s drop your eyes have seen."
"You are correct. We have spread our high-level forces across the ant colony, and we have a list in our systems," The royalty didn''t hide anything.
He pressed the buttons, and the list appeared in Maya''s system.
Once she received it, Maya nodded, "There are a few yers that left my guild already. I will hunt them and bring their dropped loot to the kingdom''s treasury. That''s the list so far."
Maya also passed the list she created on the spot, then the nobles exchanged nces.
That kind of move was entirely unexpected from the hero.
But on the battlefield, she did grow up as the guild leader!
Reylin stood behind her with a broad smile, and he often exchanged nces with the royalty.
The loot exchange began.
And at some point, an unwilling yer appeared, "That guy received Ant Eye Item. It''s an item for crafting ss."
"..." The yer looked down and whispered, "My sister aims to be a jeweler... Please, understand me."
"Who asked?" Reylin chimed in.
The yer threw a re in his direction, but no word came out.
