Chapter 136 : The Spirit Train that shattered their worldview

The abrupt peace enjoyed by the Barren Land didn''te out of the blue.

Far from the barrennd, in the southern sea, dozens of military ships came to a halt, unable to sail forward.

Not that they didn''t want to sail forward, but the path ahead was under a heavy storm.

The various factions of the sea race were locked in a deadly battle, causing a severe sea storm.

Therefore, no ship dared to sail inside it.

On the Wang n battle ship, the Wang patriarch stood on the bow of the ship, looking at the raging sea storm with an unsightly expression on his face.

"When will these damn sea animals stop their useless fighting?" He grumbled annoyingly.

"In a week or two, they should be tired by then," his butler responded.

On the other ships, all the n masters were furious about this dy. Previously, they had gathered their men and rushed to this Forsakennd, with the intention to turn the barrennd into ruins.

Unfortunately, they had been at sea for the past two weeks because of these damn sea races.

Even though the path to retreat was avable, no one even considered turning back.

As for the monster beast race, which was closer to the barrennd, they halted their attack when they saw the intimidating presence of the illusory massive ck pagoda in the sky.

All the Grade-3 beasts called back their subordinates. The barrennders might not have felt the oppressive aura from the pagoda, but they did.

Beast race had always been proud of their diverse bloodline power. But that day, all their inherited bloodlines were forcefully suppressed, and none could use their bloodline power for days.

It was as if their bloodlines went dormant for a couple of days.

Therefore, no beast dared to rush into the Barren Landers'' territory.

However, they hadn''t given up on their conquest to annihte the humans; rather, their thirst for blood grew deeper.

Previously, it was for revenge and to destroy the power of faith. But now, it had changed; every beast wanted to upgrade their bloodline.

Since the massive pagoda had the ability to suppress their bloodlines and was rted to the humans, they believed that by feasting on the blood of the humans, they could acquire that powerful bloodline.

Therefore, they couldn''t wait for the oppressive aura to disappear and send their minions into thends.

Every beast was lurking, waiting for that fateful day.

Inside the Cloudweaver city, the glorious day was in progress as all the prominent families gathered before the Spirit Train station.

They held their breath as they looked at the mental beasts. Every one of them wanted to rush to check the Spirit Train out, but they controlled their urge to do so.

They waited silently for Su Yen to call them.

Su Yen turned his head and called the Huang n master, Shu n master, Gao n master, and the Song n master.

Lastly, he called the pagoda church priest, shocking everyone.

With that, he walked toward the white Spirit Train.

By the entrance of the Spirit Train was a police officer. Seeing Su Yen, he gave a military salute with a deep reverence on his face.

Behind him were all the most prominent family heads. The police officer didn''t salute any of them and pointed to a circr device by the door.

"Please, ce your hand inside," he said politely.

Huang Yin, leading the crew, didn''t hesitate to ce her hand with the Spirit Comms into the circr device.

    Beep!

The device turned green, and she entered. Quickly, everyone followed after her.

The moment they stepped inside the VIP Spirit Train, it was as if they had crossed a threshold into a realm of unparalleled luxury and futuristic opulence.

The shock was immediate, as their eyes were met with a vision of modern design taken to an exquisite extreme.

The interior of the train was a masterpiece ofvishness, with every detail meticulously thought out.

The walls were adorned with sleek, metallic panels, and the soft ambient lighting bathed the space in a warm, inviting glow.

The ceiling seemed to stretch into infinity, with tiny spirit stone LED stars, twinkling above like a celestial dreamscape.

Each seat was a revtion, a creation of modern design that left them in awe.

The chairs were ergonomic marvels, enveloped in supple, buttery leather, and their sleek contours seemed to cradle the passengers in unparalleledfort.

At the center of each pair of seats, a pristine ss table stood, an elegant work of art in itself.

It was as if these tables were plucked from the future, perfectly symmetrical, with soft edges and a wless, reflective surface that gave the illusion of floating in mid-air.

Su Yen sat at the main seat; his seat seemed to look like every other seat, but the grandeur was unlike others. Itmanded authority and respect.

The stupefied n heads controlled their frozen bodies to take a seat.

The shock they received from this room was enough to drive them crazy.

How in the hell did they create these things? That was the question in their minds.

Still, they kept mute, waiting for this metal beast to perform its miracle.

    Cling!

The door slid shut, and the police officermunicated with the control center.

A soft hum from the train''s array formation provided a soothing background melody, and the panoramic windows offered breathtaking views.

Slowly, the Spirit Train began to move, and then it gained speed.

    Whoosh!

It shot forward like a bullet, cutting through the wind as if it were nothing.

This time around, everyone was so shocked that their hearts almost jumped out of their chests.

Looking at their stupefied gaze, Su Yen was pleased. Even his cold woman had her jaw dropped to the ground with her wide eyes fixed on the panorama window.

"What do you all think?" Su Yen asked in a low voice that brought back the people from the realm of fantasy to reality.

Everyone looked at Su Yen, then back at the modern grandeur, with inexplicable emotions in their hearts.

As for the priest, his eyes were full of deep reverence and fanaticism. No one knew what he was thinking. But one thing was for sure, no one could change his mind from worshiping Su Yen.

"This is what I promised when I decided to lead the Barren Land," Su Yen added with a crisp, calm, and confident voice.
