Chapter 183: The Battle - Part 3

With the appearance of the Foundation Building realm, those in the Qi Refinement, who were beaten blue-ck on the brink of death, rejoiced.

Staring at the various Foundation Building experts, the ten attendants halted their hot pursuit and fixed their gaze on them.

"Who would have expected, just ordinary attendants, to be this strong?" A middle-aged woman said with her voice dripping with sarcasm.

There are twelve Foundation Building experts, and the least among them was at the intermediate stage 4, while the highest was at the peak of stage 8.

Such a power lineup would scare any n or family. However, the ten attendants didn''t even flinch.

They exchanged nces and walked toward a particr Foundation Building expert.

"Oh-oh, so you know how to die," a deep hoarse voice came from a boorish old man.

"I expected a deadly battle with the powerful expert protecting the store. s, the expert is scared to show their face. Perhaps, they are scared of us," the middle-aged woman continued to speak, not caring about thedy that was approaching her.

When the youngdy attendant was less than ten meters from the middle-aged woman, she picked up speed.

    Whoosh!

She moved so fast that those on the street failed to capture her movement.

The nonchnt middle-aged woman was about to open her mouth once again to speak when a deadly sword attack appeared right in front of her.

''What the….'' She eximed in her heart.

Though she was shocked by the extremely speed of thedy, she responded timely and raised her sword to deflect the attack.

    Bang!

Both swords shed together, and she was forced to take a couple of steps back. The condescending expression on her face had changed to shock before slowly turning to fear.

    ''If I had been a littlete. My…head…''

She had yet toplete her thought when another deadly sword whistled toward her at breathtaking speed.

    ''Shit! What the fuck!''

She tried to deflect the attack once again. It was then she realized how fearsome her opponent was.

As she tried to raise her sword for defense, a powerful pressure descended on her body.

    She froze.

She couldn''tprehend what just happened, and she watched the sword pierce her chest.

Not only that, but she looked at the bone-chilling coldness of thedy''s face and knew all of them were wrong.

    Bang!

    Ah!

She stumbled back with a cry of anguish escaping her mouth. A mouthful of blood flowed out of her mouth, and on her was a deep sword that showed her inner organs.

A scoff escaped from thedy''s mouth as she followed with another attack, going for her neck.

Instantly, fear and panic appeared on the middle-aged woman''s face.

Her heart pounded heavily against her chest. She felt the fast-approaching of death.

She was unwilling to die and tried to escape from thedy that had turned demonic in her eyes.

Unfortunately, the pressure descended on her body once again.

"I''m doomed." She cried in her mind.

    Bang!

Her head was separated from her from the deadly sword attack. It flew to the sky with fear and unwillingness etched on her face before it crashed to the ground and rolled for a couple of feet.

Instantly, the street was thrown into a deadly silence. Everyone held their breath, processing what just happened.

The fight might seem long, but it happened in less than three seconds.

Before the battle with the Foundation Building experts could even begin, one of them was easily and mercilessly killed.

She was a peak Foundation Building expert.

She should be the one killing an Intermediate Qi Refinement expert, not the other way around.

As the lingering echoes of the middle-aged woman''s demise reverberated through the air, a haunting silence paralyzed the onlookers.

Thedy, bathed in shadows and the dim glow of her eerie blue armor, seized the eerie quiet tomand attention.

In a voice that cut through the night, she opened her mouth, the words dripping with an otherworldly chill.

Her tone was cold and matter-of-fact, each syble a sharp de cutting through the residual shock.

"We''re from the Celestial Heavenly Sect. In our presence, schemes and plots are useless," she dered, the weight of her words settling like an ominous cloud.

The onlookers, still grappling with the traumatic scene before them, felt an icy shiver crawl up their spines as thedy continued her ominous address.

"You''ve taken your time to scheme and plot against us. Tonight, you will learn a bitter lesson that will follow you to your grave."

The air grew heavier as her words hung, den with an inescapable sense of doom.

Thedy''s promation unfolded like a nightmarish script, and the terror in her voice fueled the collective trepidation of the crowd.

"You attack us. We will kill you. Kill all your ns and families. Kill all your friends. And kill all your animals. Your corpses will be fed to dogs.

Your family name will be erased from the city register and from the minds of everyone who knows of your existence."

The people, frozen in fear, absorbed every chilling word, the gravity of the consequences sinking in.

Thedy''s deration was an inhuman statement, a manifesto of dread that seeped into the very fabric of their beings.

The atmosphere transformed into an abyss of panic, each sentence etching a harrowing reality in their minds.

"You dare attack; this is the consequence," she concluded, the finality of her words echoing through the night, leaving the people ensnared in the suffocating grip of dread.

Thedy became an embodiment of their deepest fears, an agent of relentless retribution, and her promation lingered like an indelible stain on the canvas of their collective terror.

All the attendants waited patiently for the gravity of her promation to sink into their minds.

Finally, one of the Foundation Building realm experts woke from his stupor and looked at them with a dead-chilling gaze.

His look was enough to show how furious and scared he was from the inhuman statement of thedy.

"Just because you killed her, you dare open your mouth to say nonsense." He shouted and lunged toward her.

"Before you feed me and my families to the dogs, I will skin you alive and use your skin as a leather pouch."

"Really?" Thedy chuckled and rushed toward the iing man.

The man may have uttered such confident words. He wasn''t stupid enough not to take the battle seriously because he was a Foundation Building realm expert.

He held his spear with both hands and thrust with all his might, trying to kill his target in one blow.

Everyone watching the battle held their breath, with their hearts in their throats.

If the man failed to kill her once again, then things would not be as simple as killing an ordinary Qi Refinement attendant.

The dazzling spear appeared right in front of thedy, ready to pierce her forehead but in that fraction of a second.

She sidestepped from the spear trajectory. She heard the spear whistle past her ear, but she didn''t have any change in her expression.

Furthermore, she swung her sword in an arc. The menacing sword howled to life, ready to cleave its target into two.

''How did she dodge my attack?!'' The man eximed briefly in his mind but controlled his emotions and tried to retrieve his spear and defend against the sword.

    Yet…
