Millie strode toward Cecilia and asked, “Are you all right, Cecilia?”
“I’m fine, thanks to Jared. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to return at all.” She then nced at
Jared affectionately.
Millie saw her sister’s expression and smiled mischievously. “I suppose I need to thank Jared for
bringing you back safely. No, wait. I think I should acknowledge him as my brother-inw…”
