    Amethyst got embarrassed again but nodded her head. The two of them climbed under the covers and gotfortable as the wind outside picked up, causing the window to rattle due to the intensity of it.


    As watched it as a calming sound; while doing that, he felt the Phoenix girl cuddle up to him as she spoke, ''''I hope you don''t mind me doing this; I''m really cold.''''

    After Queen Anastasia spoke, she ordered her guards to take Artemis to the pce dungeons. There, she struggled against the men but soon gave up as memories of stories her Yia-Yia told her when she was a little girl.


    She remembered the prophecy foretold the rise of an Olympaeanian Princess who would awaken the legendary Argonaut ss, destined to be led by a figure named Atelos. This leader was prophesied to wage war against the corrupt nobles and evil queen.


    Some people didn''t believe it and regarded it as a legend. Still, It was foretold that he and the princess would lead to a Great War to restore the rightful queen to the throne by disposing of her family and uniting with the princess, bringing evesting peace to the kingdom.


    Artemis never believed in this legend until her awakening, when she got the famous ss, which sent shockwaves through Aridonia.This revtion shocked her as she believed the story to be a children''s tale of courage and famous battles that would unfold.


    One story stood out to Artemis: the Battle of Undying Tears, in which Atelos was foretold to lead the Olympaeanian loyalists who rallied to the princess''s banner; in the tale, Pythia, the oracle, foretold that the fiercest fighters on Valoria, the Saharaelian Desert warriors, would support him.


    She was astonished whenever she heard of their formidable fighting prowess, especially their ability to ughter the renowned Immortals, regarded as the finest soldiers ever deployed by the Achaemenidians.


    Still, they stood in the shadow of the Desert Warriors, who thrived in the Blue Dune Desert to the south. Entering the ce is deadly and has imed billions of lives since its creation thousands of years ago.


    While thinking to herself, she was dragged through the pce before the guardmander mped a cor on her so she couldn''t use her mana. She was thrown into a cell and left alone until the queen appeared.


    Anastasia smugly smiled while speaking with a voice full of venom, ''''You will be sold to vers, dear Artemis. They''ve agreed to take you far away from the kingdom to live the remainder of your life in misery.''''


    She sat up, staring into her mother''s green eyes and smiling, ''''I will return, and when I do, myself and Atelos will be leading an army of the Desert Warriors and loyalists that will cover the kingdom in the blood of traitors,'''' her brown eyes gleamed with malice.     Artemis stood up before saying one more thing to the shocked woman, ''''You treacherous malákas, you will die for this.''''


    Anastasia stiffened but ignored her and turned toward the guards. ''''Take this foul-mouthed girl to Port Aspurii; the vers are already waiting there.''''


    Following this, time passed by slowly as Artemis was taken to the vers and transported north as they were heading toward the Thssia Empire, where she was to be sold to the nobles for a high price due to being a pure princess.


    She thought the vers were going to harm her, but that never happened, and they were surprisingly professional. Artemis looked around and saw hundreds of people trapped in cages, but explosions caught her attention.


    Hours passed, and she heard the vers returning to the ship. They pushed five people down the stairs. When thest person appeared, her eyes widened in shock.
