Chapter 150: Nivaria Continent

When As entered Neronia, he saw hundreds of merchants with their stalls lining the streets as the townspeople celebrated, ''Is this some kind of festival?'' he thought.

He witnessed a group of children running toward a stall that looked to be some game. As shrugged before searching the town for a General Store to buy a new tent before moving further west.

''It''s annoying that I lost thest one during that ambush,'' he thought with irritation.

Following that, As found it and entered only to see that it was busy, which annoyed him, but he chose to wait. The owner and his workers took ten minutes to clear the other customers, allowing him to approach the counter.

The man looked at As with a tired expression as he spoke, ''''What can I do for you, boy? We don''t sell weapons here.''''

''''I want to buy a tent, please; I lost mine in an ambush a few days ago,'''' As replied, causing one of the workers to rush to the back.

''''We have those tents that the adventurers love; it hides them from the outside along as it''s set up against something,'''' the owner answered. ''''But that would be one gold, plus I''ll throw in some rations.''''

As epted the price and handed over the coin, as the man had taken a box from below the counter before giving it to him. He stored it in his storage as the worker returned holding a bag she handed over.

It shocked the two people when it vanished as the stuff vanished into nothing. Still, As said goodbye before leaving the shop to find somewhere to sit down and check his map, only to realize that the Greenskin Confederation was on the next continent called Nivaria.

But the map did show a train line leading from the Dawnstar Empire to his destination, which excited him as he could ride the Mosorov Trains, which that woman gave him a pass to use a while back.

After that, As left the city and traveled west to get a ship to Nivaria to continue from a port city named Aurelian. It took him nearly a week to trek across Zarandar, but he didn''t encounter any problems with soldiers on his journey.

He sat on a bench in the harbor, waiting for a ship to cross the dangerous sea. The sun hung low on the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the bustling docks. Cargo ships, their hulls stained with salt and seaweed, rocked gently against the piers as dockworkers hurried to and fro, hauling crates and barrels.

''This ce is peaceful,'' As mused while people watching.

The tter of hooves on cobblestone mixed with the creaking of ropes and the asional shout ofmands. As noted the varied nationalities of the dockhands, their ents blending into a cacophony of voices that filled the air with a sense of purpose.

Seagulls wheeled overhead, their cries punctuating the noise as they swooped down to snatch at discarded scraps. The salty breeze tugged at As''s cloak, carrying with it the tang of fish and the distant promise of the open sea.

A group of merchants haggled loudly over the price of fresh seafood, their animated gestures drawing a smile from As. Nearby, a family of travelers, their faces alight with the thrill of adventure, bustled about, preparing for their journey.

''Better buy my ticket to Nivaria.''

Soon after, As approached the counter to book his passage west, costing him five gold coins. The man behind the counter looked up at him and spoke in a curious tone, ''''What is a young boy doing traveling to the Nivaria Continent? You do know it''s infested with monsters.''''

''''I didn''t know that, but that will be useful to level up during my journey,'''' he replied to the man.

As was then led to the ship he would be bordering. It reminded him of a cruise ship, and he instantly knew it was for transporting people across the empire. Still, this one was swarming with Achaemenidian soldiers patrolling the decks.

He shrugged before making his way on board once he showed the guard the pass that he purchased. As stepped onto the vessel and realized his room was on one of the upper floors, which annoyed him.

''Why did they only have tickets for the highest rooms,'' As internally fumed.

Following that, As located an elevator that took him to his floor. After a short walk of about five minutes, he arrived at his room. Upon entering, he found it quite simple: a bed, a desk, and a bathroom tucked off to one side.

As noticed the room had a balcony with a table and chairs stationed outside for the guests to sit. He dismissed his equipment before slumping onto the bed with a sigh. The exhaustion from everything he had been doing overwhelmed him, and he yawned.

Not long after that, he fell asleep, and the winter sun barely shone through the dark clouds. While sleeping, the ship he was on started sailing west. Unless a storm was on the ship''s path west, it would take a few days to reach Nivaria.

As slept peacefully for several hours before waking to find it dark outside. He sat up, yawning as he stretched his body, his joints clicking softly, ''What a nice sleep; the bed was reallyfortable,'' he mused, ncing out the window to see the two moons high in the sky.

''Let''s grab something to eat and then tackle Void Realms Level Two,'' As thought, pulling out a steaming hot Orc''s Delight Meat Box.

As he ate, the meal satisfied his hunger and restored his energy. With a satisfying stretch, he felt refreshed and ready to go. After finishing his meal, he stepped outside and settled into afortable chair, sinking into the soft cushions with a contented sigh.

After finishing his meal, As stepped onto the balcony, propping his feet on the table. He activated the Void Realm Skill, drawing his consciousness into the enigmatic world. When he came, he found himself in a valley surrounded by towering cliffs and jagged rocks.

As readied his swords as the monsters began to appear. A swarm of Void Cave Bears and Savage Void Bears emerged, causing him to dodge their iing attacks easily as he struck out with his magic.

Void sts and Void Barrage peppered the swarm of monsters, causing explosions to ring out all over the ce. As continued fighting until his arms grew tired, and the bears stoppeding.

''What the hell was that? Where did they alle from?'' he wondered, cleaning his des with a flick.

After fending off all the monsters, As sat to catch his breath and checked the Void Bear Total.

    [Savage Void Bear – 1201/5000]

    [Cave Void Bears – 375/2000]

    [Brute Void Bears – 5/10]

    [Void Bear Queen – 1/1]

''Not long now, I shouldplete this level during the trip to Nivaria,'' As pondered excitedly.

As As hiked through the rugged mountain pass, the path narrowed, and the air grew colder. His breath formed misty clouds that dispersed quickly in the fast mountain air. The crunch of snow underfoot was the only sound until a low, guttural growl echoed through the valley.

As''s senses sharpened instantly, ''This is going to be fun,'' he thought as his excitement soared due to the fighting.

He gripped his swords tighter, scanning the darkeningndscape, knowing the monsters were nearby. Emerging from behind a cluster of boulders, a horde of Void Cave Bears appeared, their eyes glowing maliciously. Read exclusive content at mvl

As''s heart raced with anticipation. He drew his swords, their des shimmering with a faint, ethereal light. As the bears charged, he sprang into action and started using Void Step to avoid the monsters.

He ducked beneath a massive swipe from one of the bears, its ws grazing the air where he had been moments before. As severed the beast''s outstretched ws with an upward sh while dodging more attacks.

The monster roared in pain, but As was already moving, his feet barely touching the ground as heunched into a spinning attack. His Void sts erupted, striking down several Void Bears with explosive force.

One of the Cave Bears lunged at him from the side, its jaws snapping dangerously close. As twisted mid-air, his sword slicing through the air to meet the bear''s attack. The de met flesh with a wet, satisfying thud, and the bear copsed in a heap.

Enraged, the remaining monsters seemed to close in on him from all sides. As''s movements became a blur of steel and magic. He cast a Void Barrage, a storm of azure projectiles that exploded on impact, sending several bears crashing against the rocky walls or falling into the chasm below.

He grunted as a particrlyrge Cave Bear barreled toward him, its eyes glowing with hate. As met its charge with a powerful vertical swing, his Nightde cleaving through the beast''s thick fur and flesh.

As continued battling with the monsters until they all vanished into azure motes, leaving him alone on the side of the mountain path. While resting, he checked the Void Bear total he needed toplete.

    [Cave Void Bears – 32/2000]
