Chapter 592

Thinking of the gun in the safe, Keh headed up to the third floor. He was wondering how he should distract Matthew so that he could secretly retrieve the gun from the safe after they had arrived.

While Matthew was following Keh, he turned to yell at Levi, who was still standing in a daze. "Aren''t youing?"

Having heard that, Levi shook his head and said, "I... I''ll stay here." He didn''t want

to get involved any further and only longed to escape the ce.

However, Matthew stated coldly, "You''re the one who brought me here, and I

haven''t gotten the form yet, so you can''t leave!"

Upon hearing that, Keh halted in his tracks and turned to stare at Levi intensely. There was so much hatred and fury in those eyes-as if Levi had stolen something precious from him.

Levi was frightened by Keh''s gaze and lowered his head to avoid eye- contact. Then, he quickly shuffled to follow behind Matthew. Afterward, Keh snorted and continued to head up to the third floor.

There were a total of four rooms on the third floor, and one of them had a different type of door installed. It was a door made from iron, and there were three locks on

    it.

At first nce, it seemed to be extremely strange, but one could also tell that it guarded precious items and treasures.

Keh fished out a key and unlocked the locks one by one. After he had finished unlocking thest one, he turned to Matthew and said, "I''ll open the door now."

Matthew nodded and said, "Open it."

With that, Keh pushed open the door with all his might while Matthew peered into the dark room by the door. There was a faint smell of fresh ink wafting out of the room, and Matthew demanded, "Switch the lights on!"

With a click of the light switch, the entire room was illuminated brightly. Once Matthew looked into the room, he gawked at it in surprise-there were stacks of cash pushed up against all four corners of the wall, and they were stacked so high that they wereparable to the heights of adult men.

Matthew had never seen such a sight before, so he was somewhat astonished. Though he had met a lot of wealthy men who sought medical treatments when he was in prison and earned quite a sum, it was nothingpared to what he was seeing now.

Whaty in front of him was physical banknotes, and there was also a safe as tall as a refrigerator beside the cash. As long as one had the slightest bit of brains, they would be able to tell that the most valuable item in the room wasn''t the cash but the items in the safe.

Matthew pointed to the safe and said, "Is the form inside?"

At this point, Keh became a little anxious it was almost time for him to retrieve the gun and see if he could turn the tables on them. He said, "That''s right. It''s in the safe, so I''llepen it now."

After he had said that, Keh fished out two crescent-shaped keys and walked toward the safe. Matthew followed closely behind and ced his hand on the safe, saying, "Open it!"

Keh frowned at the distance between him and Matthew-thetter was too close, and if he had opened the safe now, Matthew would have been able to notice the gun right away.

As such, Keh cleared his throat and said, "Please give me some space."

Having heard that, Matthew took a step back while Keh moved in front of the safe. Thetter used his body to block the safe as he inserted both the keys and swiftly twisted them both inward.

Just then, a faint creak sounded, and with a click, the door to the safe was opened.

Out of the corner of his eye, Keh took a nce at Matthew. When he realized that his body was blocking the contents of the safe, he finally saw his chance to retrieve the gun.

There was a hint of joy creeping into Keh''s eyes as he pulled open the door to the safe. Then, he quickly retrieved the gun and took a few steps back before he aimed the gun at Matthew.

Keh let out a smile of delight and said, "Didn''t think of this, did ya?"

At the sight of the gun, Matthew raised his brows and said, "I''m just here to retrieve what''s ours."

Then, Keh Net out an icy smile

and said, "What''s yours? Howughable. Do you know why I stored these forms here? It''s because they''re outdated and of no use to us now it''s time we get rid of them."

Matthew was quite irked when he heard what Keh had said. "Don''t assume

that traditional medicine has be outdated just because modern medicine is thriving with advanced technology.

"You can only gauge whether or not medicine is outdated by looking at its functionalism and whether it could cure people of their illnesses. That being said, traditional medicine is not outdated, because it can be used to save lives."
