Chapter 4: First sight….


    “Your Majesty, his highness said to do as your majesty please. ” The servant said.


    The emperor expression didn’t look good . “Alright, leave.” The servant quickly exited the study hall. The emperor signal his trusted official toe forth. “Have you find out which householddy is she? ”


    “Replying to your majesty, thedy is Duke Yi’s household eldest miss Yi Ming luo.” The official replied.


    The emperor expression lookplicated. Who didn’t know that the Duke Yi’s household eldest miss is a good for nothing and very spoilt. Let alone knowing medicine. She just didn’t have the ability.


    “Is what you said true? Do you know who the eldest daughter of Duke Yi manor is? ” The emperor question with suspicion.


    “Replying to your majesty, There’s no doubt about it. ” The official assured. “Has the emperor thought about what to reward thedy? ” The official ask with curiosity.


    The emperor look deep in thought. Aplicated emotion sh through his mind. Time seems to pass really slowly, the officials were starting to form cold sweat. After some time pass the emperor finally open his mouth to say something. “Come here, pass on the edict.”

    The temperature in the room seems to have drop a couple of degree. Two women, sitting opposite to each other. Neither were backing down. Ming luo slightly smile to Xu yiniang. “Xu yiniang, this miss is very thankful to you for talking to father and relieving me from my punishment.”


    Xu yiniang return back her smile with an even wider smile.” This child..why are you thanking me ? This is something I should do.” <i>Humph..what talk to my father? All I wanted was to act fair but he immediately said to free this daughter. </i>Xu yiniang was cursing inwardly.


    Ming luo look at her as if she could see through every inch of Xu yiniang soul and mind. Ming luo just smile elegantly but didn’t say anything. She stir the tea in her hand and take a sip.”Xu ‘yiniang’ is being modest.As expected father really listen to you.” Ming luo intentionally emphasised the word ‘yiniang’. “I’ll be leaving first.” Ming luo got up and move forward to keep the unfinish tea on the table .


    Xu yiniang nce at the servant over the side and the servant nce at Xu yiniang and nodded. Ming luo pretended to not have seen their exchange. The servant stick out her foot out. Ming luo didn’t try to avoid it. <i>Why don’t I just y along with them? ….</i> with that said she look over Yi Mingn who was right at the side of the table.

    “Ahh-…!!” An ear pitching scream could be heard . It’s absolutely not Mingn who just scream.


    “Lan <i>er, </i>don’t cry..don’t cry.. Ming luo look what you did to my daughter.” Xu yiniang look menacingly at Ming luo. Ming luo just sneer but put up an innocent look in front. She look at the servant who just stick out her foot. Of course the fall just now wasn’t that bad but she deliberately threw the tea towards Mingn.


    <i>Humph..this Xu yiniang acting so innocent . My lips almost got scald because of her. Its almost natural to return the favor. </i>Ming luo look angrily at the servant.”You..How dare you make me trip.Look because of that Lan <i>meimei </i>might end up with a scar for all her life.”


    The problem wasn’t that serious but Ming luo was just exaggerating for the Mother-daughter pair to hear. “Someonee and flog this servant 40 times.”


    Everyone came back to sense and drag away the servant. Xu yiniang could just watch with hatred along with Mingn . It was definitely her who make her(Mingn) like this and she just push away the me to someone else.


    During themotion at the main gate of the Yi manor an trusted official of the emperor , He Mu came. “The emperor has sent an edict. Yi ming luoe forth to receive the edict.” Everyone were drumstruck, what edict did the emperor gave?? And what is with the Eldest Miss?? Duke Yi came forward .” Asking for the official to wait a bit. What are you all doing ? Not going to call your eldest miss?”


    Duke Yi was very calm.but that’s just on the surface . What did luo <i> er </i>did now?? . Some time pass and Ming luo with the others including Xu yiniang and Mingn came to watch a drama.”Yi Ming Luoe forth and receive the edict. Eldest daughter of Yi manor who is virtuous and kind. Gifted with exceptional skill in medicine is hereby given the title of ‘Imperial physician ‘ and hence given to work at the pce. Recieve the emperor’s edict. ”


    Everyone were lost in their thought. Gifted in medicine? Virtuous and kind? Nothing is simr with the eldest miss that they know of. Ming luo was also surprise but suppress it and kneel down to recieved the edict.

    Ming luo can’t help but feel unhappy about how many prestiges the imperial family has. Just because of the emperor’s one word she had to leave her home that she had be familiar with. But she really wonder why would the emperor gave such an edict we’ve never met and even if the previous Ming luo did what kind of famous work did she do to recieved such a reward.


    “Zi yan, are your legs dead .Walk faster!” Ming luo scolded Zi yan who was going with her to the pce . She was already inside but didn’t know when she can leave. <i>Humph…..</i> Ming luo was again lost in her own thought.


    <i>Bam</i> !!


    “Sh*t! Mot**rf**ker…” Ming luo held her head . What did she bump into?


    “Miss..!!” Zi yan snapped. Zi yan was sweating cold sweat for her miss.


    Ming luo look ahead. A man wearing a blue dark robe with fair skin. With his hair neatly pull back. To just exin in simple words he had a demonic look, No man couldpete with him.


    He raise his eyebrows and look coldly at Ming luo . <i>He is……</i>
