    I didn''t want to stay in the hospital, but I knew I needed the medication. Julian reluctantly agreed to let me stay for three days to monitor my reactions.

    He had warned me earlier that my exposure to radiation could lead to a third recurrence cancer. No matter how awful the treatment was, I had to continue.
