...…
With the unrelentless advance of time, Azmodeus fought the Poison Deity without respite—fighting, dying, fighting, evolving, dying, fighting…
The cycle was endless, and after the 10-year milestone passed, yet another breakthrough was made in his strength. And though it wasn''t enough to enable him to gain the upper hand, it was enough for him to survive longer than an instant.
This breakthrough in question was something one would''ve never expected to increase his battle power to a point worth mentioning. As it was neither his ever-progressingws nor his cultivation that had taken a leap…
It was instead the Spirit cksmithing Profession advancing to the very peak of the Half-Step Dwarf Star Transformation Rank that allowed his strength to make a massive jump!
This was, of course, due to the fact that he made a new weapon—one that far outssed what the Overlords of the Sunsmite Empire possessed.
After all, for the vast majority of Experts, their weapons, spirit treasures, or life treasures were typically one rank beneath the rank of the owner, sometimes even 2-3 ranks below.
But for Azmodeus, who had a cultivation in the Comet''s Passage Realm, said cultivation base was far overshadowed by his Professions, all of which were in or nearing the Half-Step Dwarf Star Transformation Rank!
It was one of the products of said professions that permitted such arge improvement to his strength.
The main ''product'' he used was a sleek ck and golden katana with a light crimson shade. It was a de currently being held over his shoulder.
It was with such an intimidating demeanor that he looked up at a fist that blotted out the sky—a fist that drizzled insidious, green liquids onto the ground that it was about to pummel to oblivion.
"I will die, but I definitely gained a little more from this life…-"
BOOOOOOM!
Azmodeus''s nonchnt voice was interrupted by the apocalyptic fist making contact with the earth, vaporizing everything for an uncountable number of parsecs!
Time to begin anew…
His thoughts faded out as he unleashed everything he had in his arsenal. But regardless of what he threw at the limitlessly powerful fist, none of it even worked to slow it down.
"DIE!!!"
Moldon roared, his gigantic fist pushing even further into the ground, eradicating all life and mountains for who knew how many parsecs.
As Azmodeus''s body disintegrated into a big pile of mush, he awoke in a new wless form inside the same Mound Devourer he had respawned in many millions of times.
"The grind starts and ends in this spot…" He muttered as his figure blurred at an even faster speed than thest time he died.
He had reached a level of speed where the surroundings looked like an iprehensible blur of colors.
The degree at which he moved in flight surpassed the concept of three-dimensional speed, achieving levelspletely out of the world!
Even so, it mattered not how fast he became, as the Poison Deity would kill him all the same, swift and precise, with overwhelming force.
It didn''t matter how fast he was, for Moldon would always be faster, and any increases in strength had even less of an impact on oveing this hurdle.
However, with all things in life, there was always a way. And the way to ovee this obstacle set before him was to simply go along with the flow of time…
...
By the 15-year mark, Azmodeus was able to narrowly survive the first attack of Moldon.
And when 25 whole years passed, he was sessfully able to counteract the all-powerful god of poison!
Until, finally… The 30-year etch in time:
The Poison Deity wound up with the same fate as True Darth and Nightshade…
"Why…? I don''t understand…! Why were you able toe back to life so many times…!?"
The dissonant, indignant voice of Moldon resounded as he attempted to crawl away from the being who had scaled his body up to the same enormous size.
Half of his once-dazzling physique was missing, with his eyeballs dangling out of their sockets and his ostentatious robes in tatters…
His appearance was nothing short of that of a god who fell from the highest levels of heaven all the way down to the very depths of hell.
"..."
Azmodeus watched the mighty Half-Step Amethyst Rank Overlord w away at the mountains, clouds, and cities as he killed countless beings while making a futile attempt at fleeing.
"For your assistance in helping me be stronger, I will allow you to die an easy death. That is the least I could do…"
"No, wait!!! Please don''t kill me!! I''ll do anything you want, even if you-"
SHING!
A crisp, unsheathing sound echoed out as a clean cut was made right down the middle of Moldon, separating two halves of his existence with a vibrant red line.
This line trailed his body from the head all the way down to his pelvis.
Following this absurdly precise cut, numerous more emerged on just about every inch of his body. Subsequently, this caused his decrepit, dposing figure to morph into a well-sculpted piece of modern art.
It wasn''t long after these slices were made that the surrounding environment followed the exact pattern of shes. In return, the earth for as far as the eye could see turned into aplex and intricately woven spiderwebbed cracked sculpture.
When the aftermath of a simple attack ultimately ended uping to a close, a number of bright blue and golden screens appeared in front of Azmodeus''s face.
