139. Reviewing some ns


    <span style="font-weight:400">While team Yamato continued with their boring mission Tomoka decided to distract herself a little by reviewing the progress of some of her projects and ns. First of which was her n to save both Gaara and Shukaku from their current predicament.


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘So, the fuinjutsu development department has managed to analyze the original seal Minato had ced on me and recreated it using my own version of fuinjutsu, good. Now the problem lies on the application.’


    <span style="font-weight:400">[Bah, how hard can it be?]


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘I know it might sound simple Kurama but the problem is twofold. Just like you at the beginning I doubt Shukaku is happy being sealed inside a brat. I am sure that if I were to remove the old seal he would try to escape instantly. So I will need to find a way to apply the new seal without removing the previous one beforehand which is a pain in the ass since I don’t have the structure of the current seal.’


    <span style="font-weight:400">[Aren’t you forgetting something a bit obvious here?] Kurama said with a bit of smugness to his tone. Ever since the emotions incident with Tomoka Kurama felt different towards her. If before he saw her as a weird kid that he had grown used to and somewhat liked. Now he saw her like one of his own, like his tailed beast brothers and sisters.


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘I don’t think so?’ Hearing Tomoka’s answer, Kurama chuckled a little before answering.

    <span style="font-weight:400">‘Yeah?’ Tomoka still didn’t understand what he was getting at.


    <span style="font-weight:400">[Well, what do you think would happen if I don’t know, instead of using a seal to restrain Shukaku you had a pal that could help you out?] It took Tomoka a few seconds to figure out what Kurama was saying.


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘Wait, that would work?’ Thinking about it for a few more seconds Tomoka realized that that would indeed work.


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘Neat, so will you help out then?’ Knowing the old fox Tomoka wasn’t sure he would actually help or not, he could bezy sometimes.


    <span style="font-weight:400">[Sure, but I want you to at least give Shukaku the chance to stay unrestrained like me, he is my brother after all. If he is stubborn and refuses then I will restrain him.]


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘Deal.’ If Shukaku were to be unrestrained by a seal it would be even more convenient for Tomoka. After all, hiding a new seal to look like an old one would be a pain in the ass. Instead, leaving the deactivated old seal in its ce would be far easier. After a moment of thinking Tomoka decided to go and deal with Gaara and Shukaku after the current mission.


    <span style="font-weight:400">With that out of the way, she checked on another important mission that had already started. Her phantoms had infiltrated the hidden grass vige to acquire an important target, Karin Uzumaki. Normally, she would have told them to go guns zing and kidnap her. However, this time she decided to go for a gentler approach. After all, Tomoka didn’t know all that much about Karin at the time.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Once she began looking through her phantom memories Tomoka’s killing intent spiked for a moment however it had been strong enough everyone around her noticed.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Tomoka?” Yamato was the first one to react after the sudden wave of killing intent. Taking a deep breath Tomoka calmed down before answering.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Don’t worry sensei. Just got back the memories of one of my clones. Someone did something they shouldn’t back at home so I will be dealing with them once we go back.” She didn’t want to worry everyone for nothing so she lied with a fake smile that didn’t reach her eyes to sell the lie better.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Shrugging his shoulders Yamato decided to drop the subject. Even though the killing intent had been a bit much he didn’t think it was anything too serious seeing how it banished the next moment. Though he pitied whoever angered Tomoka. He knew from experience she would be a bit, very, unreasonable once angered.


    <span style="font-weight:400">What Tomoka had seen in the memories was the abuse poor Karin had to go through day in and day out as Kusa-nin sucked her blood like leeches.


    <span style="font-weight:400">‘Screw it, get the girl out of there and murder everyone who hasid their hands on her’ That day the world would get a taste of what terrors Tomoka could unleash with a mere thought.
