169. Infiltration


    <span style="font-weight:400">By the time the trio reached Suna the sun had set. It had been too easy considering Suna is one of the five great shinobi viges. Then again, only a madman would send their shinobi patrolling in this desert. That and the fact said desert works perfectly as a deterrent.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“So, we have two infiltration options, the easy way, and the fun way.” While traveling Tomoka had taken her time to think about their infiltration into the vige. Many ideas hade and gone and she had settled on two.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Let me guess, the fun way involves knocking on their front door and making a mess of things.” Hinata wasn’t amused by Tomoka’s innocent shrug.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Let''s hear the easy way before we make a decision.” Nozomi for her part felt amused. She couldn’t help but love Hinata’s expressiveness when it came to Tomoka’s antics. She found the girl’s exasperated expression adorable.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Well, I could just summon one of my spiders and have it reverse summon us inside.” Hearing Tomoka’s words the two looked towards each other then towards Tomoka repeatedly.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“You can do that? Summons and do that?” They hadn’t thought about it but it made sense.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Yeah, I do wonder why no one else does it? It''s a perfect infiltration method.” And wasn’t that the truth. Tomoka couldn’t fathom how people hadn’t figured that one out.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Wait, then couldn’t you have just sent your summon instead of having us travel the whole way?” Hinata’s question made a lot of sense.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“I hu, forgot?” In reality Tomoka had just thought about this method a few hours ago so there was no way she would have been able to do that.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Yeah sure, bet you hadn’t thought about it until recently” Nozomi knew her girl too well. Seeing said girl blush with embarrassment meant she had hit the nail on the head.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Well, at least we will be able to skip the trip back.” Hinata said with a defeated smile. She loves Tomoka to death but sometimes she just wants to punch her in the face.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Tomoka decided to stay quiet. She knew when to do so, a skill learned through experience. Since she didn’t wish to acquire her girl’s wrath she quickly wove hand signs summoning a hand sized spider.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Oh! I have been summoned!” A tarant looking spider said with its two front legs raised high.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Hello Kumimaro, I need you to reverse-summon us somewhere safe inside there.” With her instructions clear, Kumimaro ran at full speed towards Suna’s sandstone walls.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Roger!” Screamed the spider as she left.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Huh, she looks like a lively fellow.” Nozomi said while looking at the small sandcloud the spider was leaving behind.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“You have no idea, if I had topare her with someone then that someone would be Naruto. She is also a prankster like him.”


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Oh really, what kind of pranks?” Hinata said with curiosity. She wasn’t one to perform pranks though she loves hearing about them and even more seeing them.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Well once she…” Like that the group spent their time chatting while waiting for the energetic spooder. Half an hourter Tomoka felt a sort of tugging that informed her she was being reverse-summoned.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Looks like our ride is here. Hold tight.” saying that Tomoka held her girls’ hands and let herself be summoned.


    <span style="font-weight:400">With a poof of some the girls disappeared from their original position only to reappear with a simr poof of smoke elsewhere. Instead of sand, sand and more sand around them, there were buildings made of sand… stone.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Infiltration sess, thanks Kumimaro, I am guessing you want the usual.” Tomoka said while pulling a slip of paper from her kunai pouch.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Sure do!” Said the spider before snatching the paper, a momentter she disappeared in a poof of smoke.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Uh, what’s the usual?” Nozomi couldn’t help but ask.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Sweets, more specifically caramel covered donuts with chocte filling.” Tomoka responded feeling a chill crawling up her back. She knew that chill very well by now.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“To~mo~ka, when were you nning on giving us some?” Yeah, she should have seen this oneing from a mile away. Hinata has a sweet tooth to defeat all sweet tooths.
