176. A rock and a hard ce.


    <span style="font-weight:400">It didn’t take long for the Konoha police to appear. Now that the Uchiha had been killed off, the Konoha police consisted mostly of reserve genins and some chunins. These low ranked ninjas mostly dealt with civilians. Unfortunately for them Tomoka wasn’t any random civilian. Fortunately, she had calmed down after the beating she delivered.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“What happened here?” Asked one of the two shinobi that had appeared. The second one was currently gathering the testimonies of the bystanders. The third one was busy checking the Hyuga’s injuries and calling for a medic.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“They wanted to kidnap my friend. After we refused to give her to them they became violent and attacked me. I just defended myself.” Tomoka said with a shameless smile pasted on her face.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“This wasn’t self defense! These two are crippled!” Shouted the shinobi applying first aid to said cripples.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Mind exining that?” Said the first one with an unamused expression.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Self defense.” Was all Tomoka said while shrugging the smile never leaving her face.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Fine then you three will need to follow me to the police department, do not resist.” Tomoka just looked towards the other two girls and shrugged. Said girls could do nothing more than sigh and follow along.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Meanwhile, one of Tomoka’s phantoms knocked on the Hokage’s windows. a momentter Hiruzen looked at the window. Seeing the girl currently waving at him Hiruzen couldn’t help but wonder what kind of mess she had made now. A nod from the kageter and the phantom entered the office through the now opened window.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Sometimes I wonder why everyonees through the window instead of the door.” Hiruzen whispered to himself while shaking his head.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“It is convenient not gonna lie.” Hearing Tomoka’s exnation made a small chuckle escape the old man.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“So, why are you here?” Though he appreciated the break from his damned paperwork Hiruzen knew that it would only pile up if he wasted too much time.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Well, I might or might have not crippled a few Hyuga members after they tried something stupid… and I might or might not be currently in the police department while an investigation is going on.” Hearing Tomoka made Hiruzen sigh while massaging his temples.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“What happened? I want all the details.” Hiruzen became serious since this could be a political nightmare if handled poorly.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“So it went like this…” A whileter Tomoka finished her exnation and waited for Hiruzen. The old man for his part felt a few years older. Had the victims been all branch members then he could easily solve the problem. However, the fact that the one from the main branch is the most injured makes everything far moreplicated.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“What were you thinking Tomoka?” Hearing Hiruzen''s exasperated tone made a bit of Tomoka’s angere back.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Don’t give me that old man! Those fuckers wanted to make my Hinata into one of their shity ves! I won’t allow anyone to do that to my girls, ever. Not to mention that byw as a genin Hinata is an adult and as such she can make any decision she wishes within thew. What they tried is nothing less than a kidnap attempt!” Tomoka’s anger was so palpable by then that Hiruzen’s personal ANBU guard became ready to take action.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Hiruzen for his part could do nothing but sigh. He found himself between a rock and a hard ce. If he pleased Tomoka then he would displease a whole n, not only that but the most powerful n currently in Konoha. On the other hand, Tomoka is one of the jinchurikis of the nine tails. Displeasing her is the equivalent of displeasing a tactical weapon.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“Tomoka, you need to understand that I don’t have many options right now.” Taking a deep breath Tomoka calmed down before answering.


    <span style="font-weight:400">“I know, though I don’t care. I am willing to domunity service or whatever but I will <b>NOT</b><span style="font-weight:400"> let them put that shity seal on her.” Hiruzen could see how serious she was about that. He could see the promise of pain in her eyes should they try. Even worse, he could see the promise of death should they seed.
