    Gu Chaoyan looked at Gu Ruxue who still seemed to be in a daze. “What are you doing here, Second Sister?”


    “How dare you?” Before Gu Ruxue was able to respond, her maid walked up to her and wanted to p Gu Chaoyan.


    Gu Chaoyan frowned slightly. Grabbing hold of the maid’s hand, she broke it easily. The bone was snapped in a fluid motion.

    But she did not dare to take another step forward. That move had already brought her so much pain that her face turnedpletely pale.


    Gu Chaoyan looked at the ferocious girl. “Qing, p her!”


    Qing hesitated for a moment but soon she went up and pped three times on the girl’s face.

    She looked at Gu Chaoyan and saw that she was not asking her to stop, so she shrugged and continued.


    But Gu Ruxue got so angry that her face turned purple. This worthless girl! How dare she p her maid. She must have gotten tired of living.

    Gu Ruxue felt frustrated. Had she brought some more people with her, she would not have fallen into such an awkward position. She looked at Gu Chaoyan fiercely. “I will tell father and grandma about you hitting me!”


    Gu Chaoyan shrugged. She did not really care.


    She went back to the chair and sat down, closing her eyes to enjoy the warm sunshine.


    She threw a disdainful look at Gu Ruxue. “Get out of here if you have nothing more to say. I want some peace.”


    Gu Ruxue suddenly burst intoughter. She needed to take revenge for what this girl did to her just now. But she had another purpose ining here. “Gu Chaoyan, you may not have heard yet...”

    “Father has fixed my engagement with Brother Jiming.”

    “I will soon be the Princess Consort!”
