    “I am one of thedies of the Gu Family, but I am not helping Princess Gu.” Gu Chaoyan replied calmly. She put it straightforwardly when answering Princess Virtue’s question, just like before.

    Even Gu Ruxue was ttering him as she was standing in front of him but this ugly girl was giving him the cold shoulder? He left Biquan Pce with displeasure.


    Lu Jiming said unhappily, “Ugly girl, Ruxue told me that Madame Gu is going to marry you to the stupid son of the officier of the Ministry of Revenue?”


    “...”Gu Chaoyan did not reply.


    “If you beg me, I would not mind letting you marry me with an equal amount of presents.” Lu Jiming said arrogantly. Now he was offering the deal that Gu Chaoyan could not possibly turn down, or so he assumed.
