Chapter 225: A reunion after 2000 years?


    *woosh* *thud* Xia Shenyi and Freya Everde''s forearms shed in the air as they looked at each other, a hint of confusion in their eyes.


    "What are you doing here?" Xia Shenyi asked with a yful smile on her face.


    *swish* They retracted back a few steps and Freya Everde squinted her eyes "I have no idea; I just came here, and even I was shocked to see you."


    *swish* Xia Shenyi again sprinted towards her, a red glint in her eyes as she thrust her palm towards her. "Seems like you were the one in the Royal pce."


    Freya Everde raised her arms to block her attack. *treik* Her palm hit her forearm and she was sted away on the ground thrashing the grasnds. *boom*


    The impact sent her tumbling across the ground, the des of grass whipping around her as she struggled to regain her footing.


    Ning Xue was startled by the abrupt fight between Freya Everde and the new woman who suddenly appeared.


    Zhao Tian was also surprised to see Xia Shenyi fighting Freya Everde ''They know each other?''


    Getting totally confused by the things happening in front of her, Ning Xue nced at Zhao Tian, desperate for answers. "Tian, what is happening? Where are we and who is that woman?"


    Seeing the panic on Ning Xue''s face, Zhao Tian spoke in a soft tone, putting his arm around her shoulder. "Xue''er, don''t worry."


    Ning Xue leaned on him and nced at Freya Everde, who was dashing towards Xia Shenyi for another attack. "But... Sister Freya is getting attacked." she was worried as Freya Everde is in a weakened state right now.

    "She is Xia Shenyi, a woman from High Stars... trapped inside this artifact." Zhao Tian spoke, continuing to exin the artifact.


    *thoom* Xia Shenyi''s punch infused with fire elemental fell on Freya Everde''s abdomen and she was hurled off in the air her body twisting and turning before finally crashing back down to the ground.


    Xia Shenyi narrowed her eyes "Hm? When did you be so weak? Are you cking off in cultivation?"


    *cough* Freya Everde maintained her footing in the air and looked over at Xia Shenyi. "I am having a rough time, actually."

    Xia Shenyi muttered as she raised her arm, arge number of arrows made of water appearing behind her.


    *woosh* She lowered her hand and *sleech* each of the arrows cleaved the air, reaching Freya Everde.


    *woosh* *woosh* Freya Everde moved around in the air, dodging all of the arrows, hearing Leya Everde''s yelling in her mind.

    Freya didn''t mind her voice and a golden spear appeared in her hand. *sleech* The spear danced in her hand, shing all the water arrows.


    *bloosh* But in the next instant, Freya Everde was inside arge water bubble, making her gasp for breath because of the water filled inside the bubble.


    As she squinted her eyes and swiftly swung her spear in an attempt to exit the water, she found her movements hindered by the liquid medium, causing them to be sluggish and cumbersome.

    *thrissh* A dark reddish golden me swirled out from her body and teh water bubble quickly evaporated under the scorching heat.


    Xia Shenyi smirked, seeing the reddish mes around Freya Everde''s body "Its been a while since I saw your Empyreal me."


    A flicker of fire appeared in Xia Shenyi''s hand as it enveloped her whole body "Let me see your Phoenix Ice next..."


    Freya Everde let out a sigh "I am afraid you can''t see that today."


    "I wonder why." She muttered looking at Freya Everde''s eyes.


    As if knowing, both of them rushed at the same time "Just like thest move we made in the tournament." Xia Shenyi spoke, a grin forming on her face.


    "And you lost." Freya Everde said it in a mocking tone.


    "Tsk!" A nerve popped in Xia Shenyi''s forehead. "And you still have that foul mouth." she said, her lips twitching in anger.

    *woosh* As they both rushed at each other at break neck speed, a burst of me enveloped Xia Shenyi''s palm.


    Just like that, deep reddish mes wrapped on Freya Everde''s palm.


    *wooshhh* Both of their palms collided in the sky and *booom* with a burst of astral energy, causing a deafening explosion that echoed throughout the entire area, sending shockwaves through the air.


    Zhao Tian cretaed a barrier around him and Ning Xue to protect themselves from the rubbles and smoke.


    "Urgh!" Xia Shenyi felt a numbing pain across her whole body and glimpsed at Freya Everde flying away in the air because of her attack.


    "Huh? Why is her attack... gotten so weak?" Xia Shenyi muttered under her breath.


    *swoosh* However, Freya Everde recovered from the attack and dashed near Xia Shenyi.


    *swish* At this time, Shi Yixian came there and raised her head, looking at Xia Shenyi and Freya Everde throwing hands in the air.


    "Enemy?" Shi Yixian muttered, looking at Freya Everde.


    As Freya Everde inched closer to Xia Shenyi, *flick* with a blur, Shi Yixian appeared in between them, the sword in her hand shing towards Freya Everde.


    *gasp* Freya Everde eyes shook in horror as she saw the cold de closing towards her neck, her heart punding in her chest "Wai-".

    A faint voice echoed through the air and Xia Shenyi, Shi Yixian and Freya Everde felt a shiver run down their spin just from that voice.


    Their bodies stopped moving as they continued floating the air, a faint glow on the ck tattoo on their wrists.


    Zhao Tian looked at the three women, the golden tattoo on his hand glowing.


    This is the reason, he brought Freya Everde inside the artifact. He knows nothing about her and it is dangerous to reveal his physique to her.


    And she is someone very close to Ning Xue, so she wille to know about his physique somehow.


    And she is already suspicious of him, asking if he is from the Astral Realm.


    So he thought of pulling her into this artifact first and he had a small guess that she will get the ck tattoo.


    And as he expected she got a ck tattoo while Ning Xue received a silver tattoo.


    And now, she is under him in this artifact and she can''t even leave here without his permission.
