289 Into the Lycan Kingdom!
*woosh* Under the night sky, three shadows were dashing the air at a quick speed.
Wearing dark hoodies and masks, Zhao Tian, Cai Luo, and Hun Xiang are flying through the air, and their destination is the Lycan Kingdom.
Zhao Tian turned his gaze to Hun Xiang who was flying beside him. "How long?"
Hun Xiang squinted her eyes and looked down at the desertnd as she guessed, "Maybe like 80 more kilometers."
"Hm." Zhao Tian gave a nod and turned his gaze to Cai Lyuo. He gently reached out to take her hand in his own.
With a warm smile on her face, she reciprocated by intertwining her fingers with his, their hands fitting together perfectly like pieces of a puzzle. *swoosh* However at this time, Zhao Tian sensed something flying through the air and narrowed his eyes. Hm?
He quickly grabbed Hun Xiang''s hand and pulled the two of them from there. "Come here."
"Huhh?" Hun Xiang was startled by his sudden pull but she didn''t refute it and went along with him. Meanwhile, Cai Luo also sensed the object and moved away.
"Is that a jet?" Cai Luo muttered under her lips.
Zhao Tian gave a nod as he glimpsed at the jet, which was flying at a rapid speed and squinted his eyes.
"Hm, an Emperor Astral Stage cultivator is inside the jet."
Cai Luo nodded her head. "Yeah, they are probably headed to the Lycan Kingdom."
As the jet passed them, the three of them again continued to fly through the air, and before long, they could see arge city illuminating in the dark night in the distance.
Hun Xiang spoke with a frown. "This is the Lycan Kingdom."
Zhao Tian and Cai Luo looked at an enormous city protected byrge walls in a spherical shape and their eyes fell on therge pce amidst the other buildings.
"That must be their pce."
Hun Xiang gave a nod. "En, there are guards in all eight entrances of the walls but they are mostly in Emperor Astral Stage and lower than that, so if we hide our presence, we can easily sneak in."
*swish* They didn''t waste any time and sneaked inside the city by jumping over the walls.
Zhao Tian''s eyes narrowed and he sensed around the ce to see if there were any powerful cultivators. But the people around this ce are in the Spirit and Soul Astral stag.
Hun Xiang hushed in a low voice, "There are taverns and hotels here in this kingdom where most cultivators join together. This kingdom is not only for people in the Lycan Syndicate; it is for all the cultivators within this nation."
With a nod, they walked near the alleys, mingling with other cultivators, while some were hiding their faces with masks and others were not.
"But the cultivators who are not within the Lycan Syndiicate, that is, if they are not mutated into that wolf creature, they are not allowed to enter the pce."
"Oh, James, is that you?"
Hearing a man''s voice, Hun Xiang narrowed her eyes and turned to look at a middle-aged man with brown hair and a small smile on his face.
Hun Xiang gave a nod and spoke in a male voice, "Yeah, it''s me. Mister Dn."
The man named Dnughed and walked near Hun Xiang. "I recognized you because you were wearing the same mask."
When Hun Xiang first sneaked into the Lycan Kingdom disguised as a man, she searched for a ce to stay and she ended up in Dn''s tavern to stay and spy about this Lycan Syndicate group.
Dn glimpsed at the other two people who were standing beside Hun Xiang wearing dark hoodies and masks "It seems like you have brought your friends too this time."
"You are again staying in my tavern?"
Hun Xiang spoke keeping her male voice "Maybeter, Mister Dn. Now, I came here just to look around and I don''t know if I will stay the night here."
Dnughed and nodded "Ok then, kiddo... don''t forget to stop by our ce."
*tak* *tak* At this time, suddenly a noise reverberated through the air and Zhao Tian raised his head looking at the helicopter passing through the sky and moving towards the pce.
Dn grimaced "Ah, these guys have been annoying since the morning."
Hun Xiang glimpsed at Dn. "Mister Dn, what is happening here? I saw a jet too, on my way here."
With a sigh, Dn said, "Our Emepror is holding a party by inviting rich people across the nation. So rich people have beening here one by one since the morning."
Zhao Tian and Cai Luo looked at each other upon hearing this ''A party?''
Hun Xiang nodded her head "I see... then, see youter, Mister Dn."
"Yeah." Dn waved his hand and went back to his tavern to check on his customers.
Zhao Tian, Cai Luo and Hun Xiang again continued their walk and even more helicopters began to fly towards the pce.
"Miles Williams is holding a party by calling the big shots? Why the sudden party?"
Hearing Cai Luo''s mutter, Zhao Tian squinted his eyes "Let''s try sneaking inside the party."
Cai Luo was dumbfounded hearing this, "Tian... that ce will be filled with rich people. And there must be something like an invitation to enter the party and we need clothes."
Zhao Tian shrugged. "For clothes, I can buy from the shop here. And both of you stay outside; I alone will sneak in."
This ce is not like Zhenzhu where people wear cultivation robes, the people here mostly wear suits so there must be shops to buy suits.
Cai Luo shook her head "No Tian, I wille with you."
"No, you stay out with Xiang. Go to a tavern."
Hun Xiang narrowed her eyes "I and Lady Luo will be waiting in the tavern close to the researchb behind the Pce."
Zhao Tian gave a nod and the three of them dispersed from that ce. Zhao Tian also made his way into arge store where he purchased a stylish white suit to don for the uing party. A woman who was wearing a metal mask nced at the back of Zhao Tian as he left the shop and squinted her eyes.
"Mam, here are your clothes."
