    Huo Yunting looked at Huo Li quietly, refusing toy out his cards. Thetter was annoyed that he could not tell whether Huo Yunting was giving him a look of sympathy or ridicule.

    In the hospital, he hugged his beloved daughter and then helped Lu Zhaoyang back to her room.


    After she settled down in bed, she asked, “Is Xiang Jinxi back?”


    Huo Yunting raised an eyebrow. “How did you know?”


    “Anyone with a brain can work it out, okay?” Lu Zhaoyang said and frowned. “Who else would dare to challenge you so openly? Besides, the name of thatpany makes it even more obvious.”


    Huo Yunting looked at her in surprise. “I see that not all women be dumb after their pregnancy.”

    Lu Zhaoyang rolled her eyes at him and frowned worriedly. That made her husband’s heart ache.


    He wrapped her in his arms and buried his head in the crook of her neck to savour her smell.


    “Don’t worry, know that I will take care of this. Just stay in the capital in the meantime and stay away from the city.”


    Huo Yunting was keeping Xiang Jinxi in check, while Huo Chen had his eye on Bruce’s family. Lu Zhaoyang would be safe.

    A few dayster, the battle between Jin Financial and Thunderbolt Corp continued with no signs of abating. It was not an all out war yet, but the people in the business circle observed them with great interest.


    They found out that Jin Financial had robbed Thunderbolt Corp of a few projects and even bought some of its shares, but Huo Yunting had not responded in kind. It was all very puzzling.

Remember to be extra careful and avoid being found out. Huo Yunting is a cunning man and you will do best if you leave your ego out of this!”


    Lance straightened himself and nodded firmly.


    “Get to it.”


    “Yes, sir.”


    Xiang Jinxi stood up and paced around his office. Then, he took his phone and dialed a number.
