However, when the design drawings of this engine came out and the trial production of the prototype began, it was already at the beginning of this year, and even so far, the manufacturing of the ten prototype engines has not been completed. According to Wang Bin''s estimation, it will take at least half a month to complete the manufacturing of the ten tg-wsx2 engine prototype.
However, in any case, this engine is finally developed. At the same time, in terms of design data, it also maintains the consistent style of Tiangong technology, which is very excellent.
Like the previous turbojet engine, this engine is also a medium thrust engine, not a large turbofan engine. However, although the nozzle diameter of this engine is not large, the overall diameter is only about the same as that of the turbofan engine of an ordinary fighter. Even in terms of the basic length of the engine, it is not much longer than that of an ordinary engine.
However, the thrust of such a small bypass ratio turbofan engine, namely tg-wsx2 engine, which can be basically installed on all active fighters in China, has reached a very high level.
Even compared with the turbofan engine of the military fighter with the largest thrust in the world, it is not inferior. It even exceeds some in thrust, and it is also higher in specific thrust.
Tg-wsx2 small bypass ratio turbofan engine is developed on the basis of TG-001 turbojet engine, so its thrust is naturally much larger than that of TG-001 turbojet engine, reaching the level of 21 tons.
At the same time, the working efficiency of the engine is much better than that of the turbojet engine.
There is also a similar Tiangong 3 500 ton rocket engine that has been developed. Due to the completion of the research and development of this engine, Tiangong technology has made a rocket with more powerful carrying capacity than Tiangong 2 rocket.
According to the design data of the rocket laboratory, the new rocket will be a behemoth. The carrying capacity of this rocket will reach about 700 tons. It can be said that such a rocket is already a heavy rocket. With such a huge tonnage, the carrying capacity of this rocket is not low.
Because this rocket, like the previous rocket designed by Tiangong technology, is a recyclable rocket, its carrying capacity is much smaller than that of other rockets of the same level, but the maximum carrying capacity in low earth orbit has also reached about 15 tons. At the same time, the carrying capacity in synchronous orbit has also reached about 8 tons.
Although it seems that its carrying capacity is much worse than that of a rocket of the same level, this rocket is a recyclable rocket, including a two-stage rocket and a fairing. Therefore, if this rocket can be designed, developed and launched successfully, it is not conceivable that other rockets of the same level can launch economically.
Although the carrying capacity of rockets of the same level is at least 18 to 20 tons at this tonnage, and the carrying capacity of synchronous orbit is also 10 to 12 tons, other rockets of the same level cannot be used again after one use, but this rocket of Tiangong technology is different. Due to the overall recovery, It can be launched again next time, so on average, the cost of each launch of this rocket is at least four fifths lower than that of other rockets of the same level.
